Amazing location. Unobstructed view of the ocean. İncredible sunsets viewed from our balcony. Barracuda Restaurant and bar 10 feet from the hotel with great drinks, cerviche and seafood. Large, clean room with wonderful rain shower and amazing house staff. Exceeded all expectations. The photos on Booking.com do not do justice to the experience. 5 minute walk from the boardwalk and im t he center of all the activity, however, the hotel is located in a quiet, peaceful zone! The made to order breakfasts with fresh squeezed orange juice was wonderful. We had so much to do we didn't get a chance to enjoy the amazing infinity pool on the roof. Purely amazing!

From beginning to end our experience was amazing. The staff were so helpful and accommodating - one of the days the hotel bar was closed, so they allowed us to bring our own drinks up to the pool. Free breakfast was included with our stay and was DELICIOUS! Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and had a stunning oceanfront view. Lastly, the hotel’s location was ideal - it was a close walk to all restaurants and bars, not to mention RIGHT across from the beach, but it felt tucked away and quiet from all the craziness.

The property was clean and welcoming. The breakfast was yummy! I like that there’s water on each floor for guests (I brought a water bottle with me). The customer service was great because all the staff were helpful and nice. My trip was for my birthday and I mentioned it to the hotel when I booked (because I was hoping for a great room with a nice view). Not only did I get a great room (with a comfy balcony and excellent view of the beach), they also surprised me by welcoming me with a birthday decoration, it was so sweet and added to my fun. I really appreciate how amazing the entire staff were. I definitely recommend!!!

Villa Premier was a 10/10. We came as a couple and chose to stay here due to the great reviews. We did all inclusive. The food was great, many options to choose from and staff is very accommodating. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Specifically, Paul was welcoming and helpful during our stay. We recommend this hotel, it is more relaxing and peaceful. Our favorite part was the room - it had a jacuzzi and was very clean. Cleanliness was superb.

Stayed here for my 10-year anniversary. Very nice resort, but on the petite side (some may think this is good, others maybe not). Excellent service from bell staff, to concierge, to pool and restaurant staff, everything was pretty close to perfect. Most staff spoke really proficient English so if you don't know Spanish, you'll be okay. The view from the rooms is amazing, the pools are nice, our jacuzzi tub in the room was fun (though I guess for no reason I might've expected it to be bigger). I loved the decor and essential oil scents through the hotel. Love my kids but it was awesome that it was adults only. Three restaurants on site but it seemed that one (Murales) was not available. But the food at La Ceiba was good (although my only complaint is that it felt like service was a little slower than I'd hoped here) but the dinner food was high end and delicious and service was impeccable at La Corona. There's no bar that stays open later than 11 so you have to go off-site for nightlife, but there are a lot of places along el Malecón (very walkable). Room service was pretty good also (nothing over the top but what you'd expect). Our couple's massage was super relaxing and nice but the spa is under renovation so we didn't get to enjoy other spa facilities like sauna, etc. Overall, an amazing trip. Shout outs to Alejandra (concierge) and Paul (pool concierge) and Andrea (La Ceiba). I think the all-inclusive was super worth it, but FYI tip is extra (charge to room, pay at end) :)

We thought the property was beautiful but unfortunately they were doing construction right outside our room wall the entire time. We paid for a suite but couldn’t be in it because of jackhammers. They said construction would be from 11-6 (they notified us with a note under our door the first night there) but it was from 8:30 to 7 and LOUD! Deafening. Then the pool was closed for a photo shoot. Then the one restaurant that was supposed to be open (the other two were closed for unknown reasons the entire time we were there) was closed for photo shoots for advertising. My husband talked to the manager who then let us in the restaurant. (We paid for all inclusive so it was disappointing not to be able to try the different restaurants). With that said , we were really impressed with the staff at pool and restaurant. They were so nice and worked hard. Paul at the pool made our day! Alan and Armando were awesome at the restaurant. The welcome massage is a nice touch. We won’t return because the construction really ruined our splurge on an expensive suite with its own jacuzzi on the deck. This location was walkable to the Malecón which was nice. The food was decent, but more American, so if you are looking for authentic Mexican, go to nearby restaurants like El Andiergo. The manager was apologetic about the construction when we complained and we were told we would get an email with two nights free in the future but I’m not sure we will go back (and haven’t gotten any emails)

I loved Villa Premier! Everything about it was exceptional! Our room was a fabulous honeymoon suite, with unending views and very comfortable. The cleanliness throughout the resort is commendable. We were glad to have selected the all inclusive plan, making most planning unnecessary and the food and drinks delicious! We did venture to town for a couple of meals, but tbh, our meals at the Villa Premier were better. They have a variety of restaurants ranging from casual to more formal and all were so good. We were celebrating a special occasion and requested a private dinner on the elevated floor above one of the restaurants. The sunset was unforgettable and the meal was truly exquisite! Our server Diana made it truly memorable. Servers Estephania and Caesar among others were terrific. We spent a good amount of time at the pools, spacious and comfortable and a fun bar pool. All of our needs were taken care of by Paul. He hustles all day to keep his clients well hydrated and happy! Thanks Paul! After dark, LaPerla restaurant had an active bar scene. Met a number of awesome people there of all ages that added to our enjoyment. Alejandro is a drink specialist and knows how to keep guests happy! Selecting a smaller, boutique resort was, I think, a major reason for our ability to interact with staff and guests. It was great fun!

Villa Premiere was an amazing experience. We went to on our honeymoon. We had previously been to Puerto Vallarta but have always stayed at the large resorts (north of the boardwalk). Morning forward we will no longer be using the large resorts and instead will be coming back to Villa Premiere. This resort is small but has everything you need. The staff takes amazing care of you. Shoutout to Paul! Paul was super friendly and got to know all his guest. He made sure you had everything you needed as you spend time around the pool/bar area. He became family during our week there. The ability to walk right outside of the hotel and be downtown was pretty cool. Even being close to downtown it was very quiet resort. It opens up the ability to try other restaurants and walk the boardwalk to see all the shops. It is very safe and everyone is there to help. The only downfall but wasn’t as much of one as I thought was the beach. It has beach access but some of it has rocks that hurt your feet so if you want to swim in the ocean bring water shoes. You won’t be disappointed at Villa Premiere. I know we will no longer use the big mainstream resorts and will only use Villa Premiere.

Great pools and rooftpp views. Rootop pool water was murky but others were fine. Comfortable sunbeds and good food amd drink service. Spectacular view from room with jacuzzi bath.

This property is a hidden gem. Nestled above the town, it provides beautiful views of the bay. The service is top notch. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Our room had a king sized bed, a great living room space and a jacuzzi on the deck. Breakfast is included. I really loved this hotel, it’s relaxing and beautiful.

We love this place! It’s off the beaten path, and out of the tourist trap. The people and the service are lovely. We’ve stayed many times and recommended to many of our friends. However, this last trip the pools and jacuzzi were cold, putting a real damper on the best part of the day. The jacuzzi also needed a cleaning. You are up on a hill with great views! However, this makes it not very walkable. You’ll take short taxi rides into town, which we did not mind. Rooms are big. Beds are comfy. Nice bathrooms with jacuzzi tubs. Breakfast is great. Fantastic views up on the middle, higher floors.

What an amazing property and the views are incredible. The staff was always super friendly and accommodating. Salvador Mendoza at the front was always so friendly and helpful giving us eating tips and making sure we were taken care of by the random taxi cab drivers. There was maid service and even turn down service with chocolates. The restaurant had very good food and the manager even greeted us and made us feel welcomed. The daily breakfast was great with an American style breakfast with pancakes and sausage and daily Mexican breakfast that changed daily. They even had an omelet custom made if you ask for it. Coffee was always good and great service. We had such a relaxing time at Grand Miramar. I would say the only thing about the property that we didn't like was that it was up the hill from the beach so it wasn't really walkable around the hotel and required taxis every time. But for that view...it was worth it. Our view was full panoramic seeing from Los Arcos to Nuevo Vallarta. Amazing sunsets! 5 stars across the board! Thank you Grand Miramar! We hope to be back again soon!!!

Great hotel for relaxing. The views are amazing and the area is super green and lush. The rooms are very spacious and offer a small kitchen for those who want to cook a meal. We ate at their rooftop restaurant for dinner. Once again amazing views. Food is average but service was great. Their buffet breakfast was way better than i expected. Everything was super flavorful. Overall great hotel. Clean, Spacious, quiet and very friendly staf.

The Hacienda Adults Only pools were quiet and lush. We liked the bigger one and swim up bar. There are lots of pool lounger chairs and umbrellas. All the staff gave top-notch service. Food quality was really good at all the a la carte restaurants and buffets. French was our favorite. We loved the lamb chops in red wine reduction. The Asian and Mexican theme nights at the main buffet were done well. There were both inside and outside seating there. The rooftop bar above the Mexican Restaurant was our favorite pub but wasn't open some nights.. There is also a rooftop sushi day bar overlooking the ocean with an infinity pool that had the best view of the bay. The nightly entertainment shows were all excellent. There was an acrobatic show above the pool with a fire show, traditional Mexican dancing, a Michael Jackson show, and an outside carnival style games night. The room was large and well appointed, with a large fan above bed with a wall switch and quiet air conditioning. Big tv, a safe, a stocked mini bar, table and chairs, and a reading lounger chair. Great shower area and tub. Nice balcony with big chairs.. We tipped housekeeping daily and had excellent service.This hotel really aims to please. We were impressed and will probably stay again.

Exceptional luxurious room, great amenities, a cool beach(no crocodiles!:)) with nice ocean waves. Literally, the best concierge service I've experienced. Please send my warm regard to Stephen, he was so welcoming and helpful and made our stay exceptionally relaxed, and our mood was just great from the first day.

The staff was super nice & friendly. The restaurants for dinner Catrina and the steak house were delicious. Food variety is really good and fresh. Hacienda side is beautiful.

Resort was very nice and clean. Staff went above and beyond to meet our needs for a friend's bachelorette party. Buffet was good, restaurants were excellent. Pool facilities were very clean and towels were always available.

The hospitality was amazing. The food was very good. We stayed in the Hacienda and it was very relaxing The pool was excellent . The entertainment was good,especially Mexican Night, Caribbean Night, and Michael Jackson Show. If anything wasn't quite right the staff was quick to respond. Overall it was a great experience and very enjoyable!

The staff was really really nice, the buffet food was good, the beach beds are confortable, we booked the room with jacuzzi and was definitely worthy. The sunset at the infinity pool is breathtaking. We look forward to come back to this hotel.

I loved eating at the buffet. Having a variety of food was amazing. The location of the resort is perfect & beautiful. We had a ocean front view & it was spectacular. I loved hearing the waves hit the beach. The staff was amazing and fun! Especially Yajaira, Renee, Daniel, & I don't remember the boss at the lobby bar's name.

The food on the buffet was sometimes hit and miss, but the resort was clean, comfortable and safe. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay there again!

I loved everything about this hotel! The staff the food! The pools .. The rooftop infinity pool was amazing.!! It was pretty remarkable to watch the sunset from up there!! Both pools were super warm!! Loved it! We loved the foam party on Saturday!! I also loved that it wasn't a huge resort and everything was close by .. the Lobby, the buffet, the pools etc!! The staff at the front desk was accommodating and friendly ..solved any request we had. The entertainment staff was super fun and vibrant! We had an AMAZING time on our stay .. I'll definitely come back here next visit to beautiful Puerto Vallarta!!

Location on the beachfront between airport & central district. Social center (Nitro) across the street for programs & “nightclub”. Nice grocery store about 5 minutes walk; WalMart 15 minutes by foot. Costco about 10 minutes by car. Varied activities calendar. Theme restaurants for evening dining; buffets for all meals, too. Some staff exceptional; others only interested in tips. Oscar @ reception appears intelligent & intuitive. Variety of rooms from older to more modern, ocean-front to facing tennis court. Events every evening. Fridge in room w/ drinks, refreshed on request. I enjoy using the kayaks supplied. Occasional nature lectures in the evening.

The Casa Cupula Boutique Hotel was a great spot for my recent trip to Puerto Vallerta. The hotel is in a prime location - walkable to numerous restaurants, bars, shops and more. The hotel is tucked away up a steep hill, but the views make the short hike (5 min. max) worth it! The room was well-maintained, very spacious and cleaned every day. The staff here is incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful. They provided me with local info and assisted with restaurant reservations and rides. They offer complimentary rides to places within the area - saving me money and time. Casa Cupula is a smaller property with limited rooms which makes for a quieter escape - all while being in the heart of the city. I recommend Casa Cupula to others and would absolutely stay there again.

Our second visit to Puerto Vallarta and a stay at Casa Cupula. We stayed in the Oaxaca Suite and (pro tip to those who are or have a partner who is a birder), the bird watching from the expansive balcony is superb. Thirty-plus species a day on the poolside Bursera trees, with parakeets and orioles among the regulars, and a Colima pygmy owl and black-headed grosbeaks among the specials. Don't let Casa Cupula's caution to guests that the room's balcony overlooks the hotel's clothing optional pool club and hence might be a bit noisy for some guests put you off -- the pool club opens at noon and closes down at 7 pm weekdays and 8 pm on weekends. We weren't disturbed at all. After a few days away visiting nearby San Pancho and Boca de Tomatlan, we returned and stayed in the Bella Vista Suite. The bird watching is not quite as as good as the Oaxaca Suite, but the large suite itself was beautiful and the size of a small house. The view from the very large balcony was excellent. Breakfast choices were good and the staff were generally attentive. The reception staff and concierge were excellent. Fellow guests were friendly, fun, and attitude-free. The hotel has its own car and driver for hire which is a plus. Overall, the best place for gay singles and couples to stay in Puerto Vallarta.

My husband and I just spent the past 4 days at Casa Cupula and we could not have been more pleased! The ocean view from our huge outdoor balcony was spectacular. The facility is outstanding with an excellent restaurant (Taste) and great pool and gym. But what probably makes this hotel the best is it's staff. Christian and Logan (concierges) go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. They made all our arrangements for us to go zip lining, scuba diving, afternoon massages, and even a romantic rooftop dinner with a private waiter. And Jesus and the rest of the front desk staff are amazing! Spectacular trip! We will definitely be returning to Casa Cupula next time!

The room was comfortable, tastefully decorated and clean. From the balcony I could see the hillside and the ocean not far away. The staff was very helpful and genuinely friendly. There is a very nice gym and 2 beautiful swimming pools. The other guests were quiet and pleasant. There 2 sweet friendly dogs that hang around the reception area. This was one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences that I've ever had and I've had many.

This is the perfect quaint LGBTQ-friendly hotel on a hillside overlooking the ocean in Puerto Vallarta. It is all the amenities - multiple pools and jacuzzis, including a club pool with restaurant and a rooftop infinity pool; full gym; full restaurant. Rooms are very comfy. Service is beyond outstanding - friendly, fast, courteous. Ubers are cheap. Also walkable to beach, but uphill walk on return.

My bf and I stayed for the first time at ziva in PV for the first time and honestly we won’t stay anywhere else in our next trip to PV, we loved the facilities, the fact that the beach was private only for the hotel guests makes it awesome. we had a little issue with our room but a soon as we notified the reception it was taken care of. We ate at the casa grande (Mexican restaurant) and it was ok, since were were only there for 3 days we stick to blaze restaurant we did lunch and dinner for the next couple of days, so far the best restaurant. we love the beach and the service, Arturo was an amazing waiter at the beach and Antonio at the blaze restaurant. I can’t remember the rest of the names from the rest of the staff but all of them were super friendly and provided excellent service. if you go you have to tip them well they deserve it. we also tried their spa and we loved the facilities, we each got a package with a facial and a massage, they let us use the private pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna, after they provide you with the service, it was a great way to end out stay at Hyatt.

I loved this hotel. The beds were so comfortable and our view from our balcony was stunning. We stayed in the club tower which I recommend. I never got hassled about time shares which I saw some people mentioned in their review. The staff was so awesome and were so attentive. They also stocked our mini bar every day for free and there was this room with food for the tower guests that was a hidden gem! Delish! Our Hotub on our balcony wasn’t getting hot but we called the front desk and they came up and fixed it right away. The beach was spectacular and the water was so clear. I cannot say enough and if you want to do all inclusive for a few days, come here. Also it’s a very short uber ride to the romantic zone where we did boat day trips and explored downtown.

Booked a swim up room in the club tower. Room was nice, bed was comfortable and the AC was powerful; we had to turn it down a couple times! We really enjoy having the swim up space right outside our room to relax in, but also having the beach right there for the days we wanted to be on the sand and swim in the ocean. The ocean was the perfect temp – nice and warm even on the days it was a little overcast. Our swim up room pool water was a comfortable temperature as well. We love how this resort has its own private beach and despite how close it is to the road, it feels more isolated than it is. All the staff are very friendly and polite. Some notable mentions are Jose De La Rosa – poolside bar (adults only pool/blaze), really friendly, attentive, never let us have an empty glass for too long. Had great drink suggestions when we asked. Nicolas (didn’t get his last name) – bartender in the club tower bar. Always had a smile, friendly, felt like we had known him for years. Food at all the restaurants was excellent. We liked the portion sizes. Steaks were always perfectly cooked. Buffet had a good variety of selections but can get noisy at times. Chilaquiles for breakfast at Blaze were amazing! We had that for breakfast three times. Was a little surprised to see children under 18 in the swim up rooms though, when it does say on the website 18+ for the club tower swim up rooms.

Great resort, tasty food and the beach is gorgeous! Our room was very comfortable. Nice views from everywhere in the resort. Blaze and the buffet were our favorite, delicious! But most important the staff is one of a kind! Shout out to: Rigo bellboy was very kind and explained us about the resort while he took us to our room, Hector from the buffet very pleasant and helpful, Alexa & Leo from the entertainment team were amazing! Fernando the server at the beach was super friendly, Jorge's classes at the gym were great! Laura was very nice and showed us the spa, Vernice was very helpful during our hydrotherapy, all the staff at the coffee shop are amazing as well! We had a great time!

My daughter and I had an amazing stay at Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta! The resort is absolutely beautiful—immaculate rooms, a pristine private beach, and incredible pools. The beach was peaceful yet full of fun water activities, which we really enjoyed. The service was top-notch. Every staff member we encountered, from the front desk and concierge to the restaurants and entertainment team, was warm, attentive, and helpful. The entertainment throughout our stay was fantastic—Alberto, the Director of Entertainment, was energetic, fun, and really brought everything to life. He also planned a fantastic 4th of July celebration that lasted all day and ended with fireworks on the beach—such a memorable experience! We loved joining in on the daily activities, from beach stretches to pool classes. Cabana service was excellent, and overall, we had a truly wonderful time. Can’t wait to return!

Location is amazing! Access to the beach. I absolutely couldn’t believe our room. We did get a suite with two balconies. But the rooms and balconies were bigger than expected! The bedroom was amazing. We loved the shower and 1.5 bathrooms. Huge jet tub! We very much enjoyed that. We sat on the balcony off of the bedroom every morning and night to watch the waves on the beach. Staff were always friendly and helpful! The room was cleaned daily. It was close enough to walk to restaurants and shops. Taxis and Ubers were easy to get. The staff helped when we needed transportation otherwise. There was a bar/restaurant and pool down on the beach. There was another bar with a swim up pool that overlooked the beach. And a sky bar with the same view but had drag shows that were so much fun!

The Almar Resort is an excellent choice for gay travelers looking for a luxurious and beachfront vacation in Puerto Vallarta. The location is perfect, within walking distance of the Malecon and the gay bars and clubs in the Romantic Zone. The pools are amazing, with stunning views of the ocean and plenty of space to relax and soak up the sun. I stayed at the Almar Resort for one week and had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the facilities were top-notch. I would definitely recommend the Almar Resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and gay-friendly vacation in Puerto Vallarta.

It's a great all gay resort, rooms are spacious and with a nice view to the ocean. The check-in staff is super friendly and helpful. The restaurants have delicious and tasty options (although not too cheap) and the beach area is semi private towards the end of the bay. We had a great experience overall. The staff is friendly, comfortable beds, great spacious pools and relaxing chairs. They are flexible for letting you use the facilities while you check in and out.

I recently visited PV and chose to stay at Almar— and I was not disappointed (Story time - Almar cancelled my booking 72hrs before I arrived at PV 2024 and I booked it via their official website) From the moment I arrived, the service stood out. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and a consistently accommodating attitude. They were attentive to our needs, and ensured that my check-in process was smooth and welcoming. My room was clean, quiet, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed that made for restful nights after long days of exploring the Beach. The overall experience represented very good value for money and the freedom of access to the beach club. In summary, Almar offers a reliable and pleasant stay, with excellent service and a thoughtful approach to guest comfort. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

I had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at Hotel Almar, The facilities were excellent the pool at Edén amazing with that view, the facilities were excellent everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The environment was peaceful and ideal for rest and relaxation. One of the highlights of my stay was the massage I received from Lester It was incredibly professional and left me feeling completely renewed. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy quality service in a tranquil setting of course with a great massage that you won't regret with Lester highly recommend.

This was our third visit (not a timeshare type of person - just love the resort.) The staff is incredibly professional, accomodating to the best of their ability and don't get me started on how amazing the restaurant, pool and beach staff is. We do recommend staying on the third floor or higher as the noise in the hallway was quite loud on the second floor. We moved to the third floor the 2nd week and I slept like a baby. This hotel isnt fancy shmancy but what it lacks in modernity - it makes up in authenticity. They have gorgeous pools, stunning grounds that are so well kept! They have laundry ammenities, tokens for 20 pesos each (1 per wash/dry = 40 pesos) available at the front desk. There are SO MANY restaurants just a short walk away from the hotel as well as a pool and hotel restaurant which serve a great variety of food of all kinds. My only complaint is that beach chair savers are a real problem and it can be really difficult (in the busy season) to get a spot at the beach. Apparently their Cabo location has stricter rules - towels are turned in at night which would really help and seems a bit more fair! Loved our stay overall and will be back!

Hotel was quite nice. The rooms are a bit dated but large and comfortable. A/C in the room worked beautifully. Bathrooms were clean. Hotel staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel does a nice job keeping the hotel clean and landscaping in beautiful condition. Hotel location is only a 10 minute walk to the Marina and lots of retaurants. Pool was exceptional. One "negative" is that hotel guests tend to snag the chaise lounges at the pool and beach and keep them all day even if they are not there. The hotel staff doesn't enforce the requested rule of vacating the chairs if you're gone more than 40 minutes. Pool food and beverage service was slow; maybe because off the size of the area and not enough bar tenders to keep up. The hotel has a very nice gym; equipment looks new! All in all, Club Regina is a pretty nice place and I would go back.

We enjoyed the club suite we stayed in and the buffet for breakfast we dined every morning was fresh, the food selections were great and the omelette station was amazing. The staff was very attentive and great customer service. The property was beautiful with the beach very accessible and not too crowded. The location was easy to get to from the airport and wonderful dining options outside of the hotel nearby.

We had a large room. Fairly quiet. The breakfast are very ordinary, often cold, no real butter, no toast. Dinner menu is ok. Pool is pretty. Beach could use a raking, rough sand. People commandeer lounge chairs early so by 10am, beachchairs are no longer available. Hotel says it monitors hoarding but it doesn't. Must have a car or take a taxi to get downtown. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Pros: Great walkable location minutes away to the Marina District. Very clean resort, quiet, beautiful beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Cons: no coffee pot in rooms, no free bottle of water.

Enjoyed my experience there. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was that the jacuzzi on the balcony of the room was not hot/warm at all. We paid extra for that room but weren’t even able to enjoy the jacuzzi out on the balcony. :/ the room was clean and the staff was friendly.

This property is absolutely everything!!! Great location. Big spacious room with jacuzzi on the patio . Room has everything you need washer dryer kitchen fully equipped . I will definitely recommend and I will definitely be back ty pinnacle for a lovely stay

This place was awesome and we would book again. We went for the weekend to celebrate my husbands birthday and there were no regrets. All the employees were super nice and helpful, but mostly Jhoba, Ramon, & Leo. We felt so welcomed. We got the suite with the jacuzzi and it was clean and the view was awesome. The pool had the best view as well and it was clean, beautiful, and the swim up bar was great. We walked pretty much everywhere since Everything from the beach, shopping and restaurants were very close by. I can’t wait to go back. Great first experience!

The staff was amazing from the moment we arrived. The unit was nothing short of spectacular. The jacuzzi on the balcony was an amazing way to end your busy day. The patio doors slide into the wall to create an amazing experience and to sure you take in the full experience. Overall we are very happy with our stay at Pinnacle Resorts 180.

Great vacation rental! Pros: Very nicely appointed. It had a luxurious feel to it. The balcony is large, however our unit did not have a jacuzzi. The view was pretty good. The location is great. The beach was a 5 min walk away and there were plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. The condo was very clean and extremely comfortable. Cons: Currently building another condo building just across the driveway. The view is partially obstructed by the building across the street but it’s still pretty good. Steep hill to get back to the condo after going out in town by foot. There is an tram to make going up much easier. No black out shades in the master bedroom.

This definitely isn’t a 5 star resort - it’s decent, not amazing. The food was good most days. We did eat off resort a few nights because Puerto Vallarta has so many amazing options that shouldn’t be missed. We had an upstairs balcony in our room and we never used the jacuzzi up there - it didn’t look all that clean. I was also really hoping for loungers up there, however it was just a bunch of wasted space. The thing that really stood out for us during our trip was the staff at this place - they were all so friendly and polite. We were blown away by all of our waitstaff all week. They made up for it being just a decent resort!

My family and friends just returned from a terrific visit at this property. We had five rooms booked and all were clean and spacious. Beds/pillows were very comfortable and ac worked well. Everyone gets room access wrist bands instead of room cards. Mini bar was refilled daily with water, beer, pop. Some rooms/common areas are still under construction, but it was no problem while we were there. The food was plentiful and very good. There is a buffet that offers breakfast, lunch and daily themed dinners. Plus there is an outdoor grill with hamburgers, pizza, fries, onion rings, guacamole, chips, veggies, breaded fish and chicken wings throughout the afternoon. Reservations are needed for the a la carte restaurants. There was some confusion on when we could sign up for reservations, so it would be helpful to be consistent on a time so that guests can reliably make reservations. The Italian a la carte was good (almost the same as the buffet during the Italian themed night). The Steak a la carte was also good but the service was terribly slow. Our dinner took two and a half hours and we had issues with one of our meals. Daily activities are offered such as aqua aerobics, beach/pool volleyball, bingo, pool games and evening shows. During the weekdays, we were able to find chairs by the pool or beach by 8 am. Weekends got busier so we went down earlier. Staff are helpful and work very hard. Remember to tip for service - they deserve it. All in all, we will definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay last year so much that we returned this year. Our group had several partial ocean and full ocean view rooms once again. No issues with any of them and mini fridges were adequately stocked. The property is well maintained and clean. Food was very good and plentiful. Lots of options at the buffet with theme dinners throughout the week. The specialty restaurants don’t require reservations anymore and offer three seatings. If you wait in line at one restaurant and can’t get in, however, there’s no option to try another so you can enjoy the buffet instead. The pool was clean and refreshing, but the chair game is in full play (just like everywhere else). Lots of activities offered throughout the day including beach volleyball, pool volleyball, bingo, arts and crafts and pool side games. Lots of fun. The evening entertainment is hit and miss but the Michael Jackson show continues to be entertaining. They also offer karaoke in the lobby but it was a bit much. The staff are terrific. Guillermo and Felix will take good care of you around the pool and beach areas. Daniel at reception was always friendly and helpful. All in all it was another wonderful stay. We’re already making plans to return next year.

Close to the airport. A clean, open facility with ample staff to help out when needed. Pool and beach area is great. On site staff also helpful with booking excursions, arranging transportation, etc. The food in the general buffet was OK. What you expect from all inclusive buffets. We tried two of the speciality resutaurants - Steakhouse and the French one. Both were better than the buffet. Trying to get reservations for them was very difficult though - you had to be there lined up before 8 am and selection was very limited. I'm not sure that all the options were even open each night and we walked past the French restaurant when it looked almost empty but a reservation was not available. Room was nice - clean with mini fridge and amenities. My hot water was not working and the hotel came to address it immediately. Only request would be to add a bar to the sliding door for security. The latch lock was flimsy.

The property is amazing, my family and I had the best vacation. We stayed on property for most of the vacation, there are many activities and the staff is the best. Five star staff and facility. I had a scheduling conflict on arrival and the staff went above and beyond to help correct my situation. At the front desk, Lucy was the best. She was able to fix my problem without hesitation, We received the best service from everyone at the front desk. At the bar, Jose was an outstanding bar tender. He continued to provide excellent service even at the most busiest of times. I have been to the property three times in the past year and I will continue to book all of my vacations here. I want to say "thank you" to everyone working on the property. Easy access to the airport, outstanding front desk service, amazing bar service, tremendous house keeping and the ground are always kept clean. We had the best time here thanks to everyone working to provde excellent service.

I have had multiple stays at this beautiful boutique hotel They have the best customer service the entire hotel is spotless with 2 beautiful pools and a hottub and 2 beautiful cats! Thanks to all of you can’t wait until my next stay! ❤️

Down pillows, soft sheets, and a great blanket. The bathroom had a tub with rainfall shower head, toilet, bidet on the side, a long walk-in closet like with a dressing table at the end. A fireplace is next to the bed, tv was place in a corner, an extra couch/bed like at the foot of the main bed, and a working desk to the left of the main bed. The patio was extravagant with outside seating, table, and even a relaxation bed to soak up the sun. The living room has a couch facing the tv that is next to the front door. The kitchen was perfect size with a nice size pantry room. There is an extra half bathroom for the living room and a private doorway to the fresh water pool (door did not work with my keys). Breakfast was simple. Fresh fruit and fresh fruit water of the day. Coffee or tea is served and you can order heavier breakfast if you'd like. 7th floor pool is an endless pool with an amazing view. There is a little bar next to it along with a full size bathroom where you can shower. The 3rd floor pool is fresh water and next to it at the top is the jacuzzi. The lobby is well kept and decorated. Actually, the entire hotel is well decorated with its quirks and historical stuff. My favorite part are the two beds for the two cats that live and visit. Highly Recommend This Place!!!!

Gorgeous hotel built with lots of attention to detail, decorated with tasteful furniture and unusual artwork. Rooms are very spacious and with comfortable mattresses (we stayed in 2 different rooms during our 7 night stay, both had a nice large balcony overlooking the river). Hotel is located on a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle of Zona Romantica and the Malecon. We did hear barking dogs during some nights, but otherwise it was very peaceful. Lots of amenities: heated infinity pool and a bar on the rooftop with stunning views, jacuzzi on a different level, plus 2 more pools elsewhere on the property. Front staff was wonderful (thank you, Javier!). The staff all spoke good English and were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast is served in a beautiful dining room located in the original part of the hotel [which used to be a private house], and though relatively simple, it was well prepared. Would love to stay there again!

If you're looking for a charming and intimate stay rather than a large resort, I highly recommend this hotel. The decor is eclectic and fun, and the staff is warm and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located just a 15-minute walk from the beach and directly across from Isla Cuale. Our room had a balcony with a lovely view of the river and Gringo Gulch. The rooftop pool and bar offer amazing views, and we enjoyed watching the full moon rise over the mountains from the rooftop jacuzzi. It was exactly what my daughter and I wanted for our first trip to Puerto Vallarta, and we will stay here again!

We had the hotel for ourselves, we could enjoy the pool and jacuzzi to the fullest and had the staff's full attention. Kids are not allowed (unless you book the whole hotel) so we could relax for our entire stay. The staff is very kind and professional. Food and drinks are good. Prices are reasonable for a hotel. The view is magnificient and unobstructed. Very highly recommended!

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality and attention to detail at this hotel. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, with friendly staff who made us feel right at home. Our room was immaculate—spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the modern comforts we could need. The pool and hot tub were absolutely perfect—clean, well-maintained, and the ideal place to unwind. We spent hours just soaking and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious (made by the chef). I especially loved the fresh juice every morning—it was the perfect way to start the day. As well as the Flan! If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with great amenities and fresh, wholesome food, this place is a gem. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Pictures do not do this magical place justice! I went with a group of 11 friends and it was the best trip we have ever taken. We are all ER nurses so we really need to relax and unwind when we are not at work and this place was perfect! We picked this place because all the rooms have balconies and ocean views, the location is quiet and peaceful but it's a very short drive to downtown, and the staff had wonderful reviews! We were spoiled by Pasual and Omar (waiters/barmen) during the entire trip. From arranging massages/nail services and making wonderful margaritas to getting a fantastic cake and singing for one of friends celebrating his birthday. We could not have asked for more. Juan (head chef) and Elisa (assistant chef) made such delicious and impressive meals. The steak they made for dinner on our first night was fantastic! Some members of our group went on a fishing charter and caught enough for dinner. Juan and Elisa cooked the fish in garlic and butter and it was great! The pools, jacuzzis and the rooms were sparkling and kept so clean. The view is breathtaking. Sometimes we just sat outside by the main pool for hours just talking and enjoying the view and the margaritas. As someone who plans group trips often, seriously look no further. You will not get a better view, location, or property, especially for the price. What really makes the place extraordinary: the people who work there. They were impressive to say the least!

We had the most amazing time staying here at Villa Divina in the penthouse. Relaxation at its finest!! It’s a very pretty boutique hotel with incredibly friendly and hospitable staff. They made us feel right at home from the second we got there. It’s a little different than staying at some of the bigger resorts we’ve been to in PV. Pascual was handling our welcome, checkin, luggage and all. But he and the other staff were always very friendly and helpful. We usually stay on the beach so it was a fun change to stay up in the hills. It’s a beautiful area and we miss that view already. Wow!!! A five star view of PV and the ocean, plus some whales some mornings. The penthouse was spacious, had a great set up with kitchen and private pool, and was just what we needed for a perfect vacation. If you’re curious about the gym, most of the machines are very old and don’t really work. Even the treadmill belt would slip a bit. It’s a good space for working out but I was really only able to use the dumbbells. Not a deal breaker for me but good to know for those who want to workout while you’re there.

I just got back from another amazing visit at the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit. The grounds are beautiful, the restaurants are amazing with very delicious food and great presentation. The staff in the entire property is very professional, kind and helpful. I do want to highlight a few people who just went the extra mile for us. Our concierge Dulce has been absolutely amazing, caring, kind, always helpful and made my sons birthday very special by decorating our room. We had Duce during every stay and we love her. I contacted her before our arrival and she right away was able to make us reservations for the restaurans, so upon arrival we already were set for dinner. Eduardo by the pool/beach waiter was also super nice, he offered and decorated our cabana for my son's birthday, which made my son feel very special. The waiters at breakfast and dinner also came sang happy birthday to my son and brought him cakes. Diego, Gustavo and Raymundo were also amazing by the pool, making sure we always have a refill on our drinks. Carlos by the boogie boards is just the sweetest, always ready to help with a smile on his face to play games, help with surfing, boogie boarding or kayaking. Fidel by the buffet always made sure we had something to eat with our food restrictions. The best all inclusive hotel. My son wanted to go there for his birthday and we had a great time. Looking forward to go there again.

Family friendly comfortable resort suites and spacious conference rooms with projector capabilities, perfect for our professional conference. The beautiful ocean side pools are absolutely amazing! The food was five star in all four of the resort restaurants, and so at the breakfast and lunch buffet at Azure with ocean views. All of the wait staff were helpful, friendly, spoke good English and were very fast to meet any need that came up! Always a cold drink offered at the poolside too. The housekeeping staff were stellar with their cleaning and turn down services. Local recommendations for fun activities were top notch (recommend the scuba diving class). The spa staff were so very sweet but not at all pushy like some other places. Overall just a stellar place to stay during our visit to Mexico and very highly recommended!

Beautiful, tasteful and welcoming as soon as we arrived. Greeted with a “welcome neck massage” in the lobby! The staff could not have been nicer throughout our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable and stocked well. The pool and beach were clean and the service was amazing… Gustavo was our favorite…. So friendly and great at his job! Food was very good…. Had such an amazing meal at Frida (Mexican Restaurant) that we went back the next evening! Diego was an amazing waiter! Our concierge, Maria, was very helpful and accessible. Loved the koi ponds! Enjoyed feeding the fish! Overall a perfect vacation. Been wanting to stay at Grand Velas and if met and exceeded expectations! Will definitely return!

We just returned from a week at Grand Velas, and once again, it was an absolutely incredible experience. I traveled with my husband and our two teenage sons (19 and 16), and from start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The service was outstanding, as always. Our concierge, Perla, was incredibly attentive and proactive—she went above and beyond to help us arrange a relaxing spa day and secure dinner reservations. She constantly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and were enjoying our stay. Around the pool, the staff was consistently friendly and helpful, with Miguel and Gilberto truly standing out for their exceptional service. Dining at Pilaf was a highlight—Francisco was especially amazing, though every server we encountered across the resort was professional, welcoming, and top-notch. The food was delicious with a wide variety of options to satisfy everyone’s tastes. This was our third visit to Grand Velas, and the quality remains as high as ever—we truly can’t wait to come back! While our teens would have appreciated a few more activities geared toward their age group, they absolutely loved the pantomime show and haven't stopped talking about it. Grand Velas continues to be our go-to for luxury, relaxation, and unforgettable family moments.
