Very friendly reception, parking on the private yard of the house, in the calm neighbourhood. Close to the statium, but to reach Osijek city centre we used the car (cca. 5 min drive). Good WiFi, lovely balcony with a terrace, overlooking the city.

The apartment was very clean, at a nice and quite area 5 min driving distance to the very center of beautiful Osijek. The hosts were very kind and friendly. Balcony and parking space were very nice extras.

The hotel was lovely and the room had a beautiful view of the calm and serene river. The breakfast was very good and the best part was the amazing dinner we had in the restaurant. Served by a very nice member of staff who gave us excellent menu advice and was so patient with our questions. The food was superlative, and wine superb.

Spacious and clean rooms, helpfull staff from reception desk and amazing staff from restaurant and bar.

Our room was spotless and very comfortable. The air conditioning worked great, and we had a lovely view over the river. The staff were super helpful with our many requests.

The interior is beautiful and spacious, the staff are all lovely, and the room is really comfortable. We had the pool/jacuzzi to ourselves as it was a quiet evening, so it felt extra luxurious. Loved it and we'll definitely visit again!

We spent 3 blissful days at Materra and loved every moment! The intimate atmosphere makes you feel like the only guests, with tidy rooms and breathtaking views. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, offering endless options plus freshly made eggs on request. The spa zone is a true highlight, featuring three saunas—bio, Finnish, and steam—for ultimate relaxation, pool and an outside jacuzzi. Every detail was perfect. We couldn’t recommend this place more! 🌟

A nice and cozy ground floor apartment situated across the bridge near the river. A nice 20 minute walk will get you to the town centre. Vlado is also a great and very helpful host and very quick to respond.

We found the host's to be warm, helpful, honest, genuine, conscientious, professional people. Who provided excellent hospitality. Our accommodation was clean,comfortable, safe, spacious and peaceful. We will return.

We were impressed with how well-maintained and spotless everything was. But what really made our stay memorable was the host's exceptional hospitality. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Her homemade breakfast was simply amazing! We loved spending our mornings indulging in delicious food and enjoying by the pool. Speaking of the pool, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring the nearby attractions. The serene atmosphere and comfortable loungers made it easy to forget about the stresses of everyday life.

It's located 20 meters away from the central street, full of restaurants and bars, perfect location. The pool looked very nice and clean, didn't have time to try it. Very good and tasty breakfast, with a lot of options provided. The owner was very nice and friendly. The room is large enough and quiet, comfortable, lots of facilities in the room. You get free parking 10 meters away. Would visit again!

The location was absolutely perfect, in the very center of Đakovo, 5 minutes walking distance to the cathedral. Shops and bakeries were right next to the location; two supermarkets were 3 minutes away from it. The room was very nice and cozy, with a comfortable bed, a desk, a TV and a spacious bathroom. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was delicious, freshly served and prepared with much love :) The host was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for the great stay :)

The accommodation felt luxurious and it was so comfortable and clean. The lady who served up breakfast was lovely. we were served french toast, ham, salami, cheese, coffee, yogurt, bread and a selection of cereals plus a pastry. Really delicious and a lovely way to start the day. The accommodation was close to all the things I wanted to do in Dakovo. I visited the town via bus, which was a short distance away of under 10mins. The cathedral, Strossmayer Park and all the cafes, bars and restaurants you could dream of were all within an easy walk. Self check in was smooth with easy to understand instructions from Ivanka.

Stayed for one night. We were pleasantly surprised by the people working there - they met us despite our late arrival and helped us to settle in. Very clean, tidy, everything was in excellent condition. Loved the pool where we swam after breakfast. Breakfast was great too and varied with lots of options. Lots of good restaurants and bars nearby. Safe and pleasant neighbourhood. Would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel.

Right on the heart of the city, beautiful room with a jacuzzi tub made our stay so relaxing.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights, arriving by rental car at 2PM and parking in front of this city center hotel. A friendly receptionist copied our passports, provided room keys and a town center map, then escorted us through the portico to our ground floor 8 apartment complex with secure parking. Our spacious wood floored #10 had 2 comfortable twins placed together, desk, couch, large closet and large wall TV(BBC/Bloomberg/CNN/SKY and others in English), outfitted kitchen with 2 electric burners, hot pot with coffee/tea(no refrigerator) and fully outfitted bathroom with small shower. The 7 AM breakfast in the hotel’s restaurant was outstanding with a choice of 4 menus with breads and coffee followed by a varied fruit plate. We had issues with the TV which were attended to by the receptionist followed up with a technician the next morning. The location is convenient for walking; 150 m north to McDonald’s, 150 m further to the cathedral, 200 m further to the Maxi Konzum, 100 m more to the Petar Pan dessert restaurant, and 150 m further to the long flat Drava River promenade. This classic hotel’s quiet rear annex was an excellent choice to walk to the sights of this Tentative UNESCO town center and good value at $171 for 2 nights.

Small hotel where guests are treated like Royal family in Austro Hungarian hotel. Room in which we have spent one night has got balcony over the to the main street, unforgettable positive experience. It was to cold outside to have coffee on the balcony but in summer time we will surely have. We suggest to take Slavonian breakfast with local meat delicious. On the other side of the street is Waldinger confectionery with perfect white coffee and different cookies. Prices are fair enough for such candy hotel.

The hotel is located in an old central part of the city. Our room was very luxurious and beautiful with old world charm. Large comfy bed adequate bathroom. The only downside is no elevator so with stairs the only option it does become tiresome using stairs and carrying luggage. Nice well presented buffet breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff who greeted you as you came and went.

Location was right in the city centre walking distance to everything shops restaurants public transport even McDonalds. The host was by far the most helpful and friendly from any place I’ve stayed at. 11/10 !! Definitely would stay there again and again.

Apartment is in an excellent location, the rooms are smaller but very clean and cozy. There is a possibility of free parking in front of the accomodation. The hostess is very friendly and even gave us some tips for exploring the city.

A small family run apartment in the center of Osijek. The hosts, Marco and his father are very kind and warmly welcoming! The room was spacious with nice equipment, very comfortable, cleaness was 10/10. Parking was available in the street, a few meters from entrance. The Rooms Lisnic is dog-friendly which was important for us. Breakfast was also delicious! Hopefully we will return to this place at a less windy weather 😁

Even though the rooms are in the lively neighbourhood, once you close the windows almost none of the noise from outside can be heard. We stayed there in the middle of the week, so I don't know what is the situation from the pub below with the noise during the weekend (by the way, the pub is great and offers delicious food), but I slept very well. The staff is welcoming and friendly, breakfast was great. Next time when I am in Osijek, I will look for no other accommodation. It was a perfect stay.

The property is clean, the rooms are super quiet, above all we had a helpful, great staff all along. Just downstairs, the Merlon bar offers wonderful delicious food and drink. The location is great in the historical district. If you are looking for an accommodation in Osijek, Sobe Merlon should be your choice.

Also there was an interesting spacious yard.

The place was great: nice bed, fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom with shower wash included, AC in the lounge with good WiFi and plenty of power plugs. All for a very reasonable price. The host Hrovje was awesome. Super responsive on WhatsApp and very friendly, he got our flight tickets printed for us on short notice and organised us a taxi to the airport. 10/10 would recommend.

Convenient parking in the courtyard adds to the attractiveness for those travelling by car. The surrounding area boasts reasonably priced fine dining options, enhancing the overall experience.

The owner is very kind. The apartment is Very clean and nicely furnished. The location is great because it is almost in the city center. The view is on the pedestrian bridge, which is beautiful in the evening. I'm sure happy to rent again. And parking with a garage in the yard of the building.

We stayed for 7 nights in a 2 bed apartment at LAVilla as a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. We couldn’t have chosen a better apartment in Osijek for our first visit to the city. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish). Nothing was too much trouble. The location just excellent and within walking distance of town centre, shops, restaurants, river promenade, bars and pubs. Apartment is very well maintained, has proper security (electronic code entry), cctv, and all modern amenities. Very spacious and roomy. Well air conditioned too. Decor is modern and tastefully done. Beds are comfortable and bathroom has a rain shower. All in all, we loved the accommodation having looked at several properties as options prior to renting LAVilla. Owner is most courteous and helpful and my thanks to him for his kind hospitality. Housekeeping must also get a mention for keeping the flat neat and tidy although we managed mostly ourselves as well. Highly recommend this property.

My room was comfortable and quiet (despite the door being right by the stairs and breakfast area, since there were two layers of doors it was quiet.) Location is perfect for travelers by vehicle, easy and quick access to main highways and not far away from Osijek center ( by car). Even close to main roads, the hotel room is quiet. You hardly hear the traffic during the night. All facilities with spa and gym. The restaurant has excellent cooked food and good service, worth a visit by itself. Second time I stay overnight during long travel by car and I will surely come back next time I travel in the neighborhood and need a good rest and food during my journey.

It was my first time in Croatia and I couldn't have been more pleased with my stay at Hotel Central. Staff incredibly helpful and attentive, rooms quite basic (e.g. no tea/coffee making facilities or air con) but very clean and great water pressure in the bathroom. It wasn't mentioned when I booked, but the rate includes an excellent complimentary continental buffet breakfast and they will also cook you hot food for breakfast at no additional cost. Would definitely stay there again.

My wife and I adore the Hotel Central. We've stayed at the place at least three times now and plan to do so again in the future. The staff is always polite and professional and the room is always clean and comfortable. The Hotel Central has a lovely old-timey atmosphere and a prime location occupying a position in the main square. The place is with walking distance of everything from shopping to food, entertainment, coffee and more. Best of all, it is less than a minute's walk to hop on the public transit. Definitely recommend the Hotel Central in Osijek for sure!

This is an old style Hotel, with great location. Is located right in the centre of the main square in the beautiful city of Osijek. Our room had a view towards the Square. We could see the festivals and markets from our window. The room was spacious, with a good size bathroom. The towels were spotlessly white and soft!! I mean truly white!! The bed was very comfortable as well as our pillows. I have been in great hotels, but with bed so hard, I could hardly sleep! But in this hotel In spite of the minus, I had such restful night. The minus was no lift to take you upstairs. But the receptionist was keen to help us with our luggage! And the stairs are quite wide too! We stayed in this hotel for a week, daily we had very good breakfast, and good wifi too and in our room. This hotel must have been the best in its time!. For me the best feature of this hotel are the Staff!. All of them were so helpful, and caring, and willing to make our stay as comfortable as possible. And they did! Thank you all! Comfortable, very big room, balcony, perfect location in the center of Osijek, free private parking inside the hotel's yard, payment at check-out. Communication with the host on the phone, this time we didn't even see each other. :)) The included breakfast is served at Waldinger hotel just next door, but it's absolutely fabulous. Probably the best value for money for accomodation in Croatia. Can't wait to come back for the 3rd time!

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast served each morning. The spread was generous and fresh to suit all tastes, and the coffee was particularly good.

The hotel is situated in the countryside with all what goes with it. Some comments were complaining about "horse smell" and the like. Well, yes, it is natural to have this on a genuine countryside. The genius loci was really nice, however the village has quite a few empty, and deteriorating, houses, which is rather sad to see. The hotel was clean, really cosy and we got all we paid for. When we arrived there was no one at the reception, but our room keys with a greeting letter was on the desk. The rooms (we had two) were air conditioned and already chilled when we arrived. Beds are comfortable, breakfast good, freshly prepared. The area was very quiet. Our kids loved to feed the horses in the backyard. We even got some food for them from the personnel. The personnel very kind and helpful. since there were just a few quests at the time, we could also chat a bit.

The stay was part of our Baranja adventure. The accommodation is pleasant and clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is full of local delicacies. Dinner (recommended by the chef) and the local wine was excellently combined. You can also feel the village experience in the courtyard of the hotel, look at the horses and enjoy a drink in small canopies. Highly recommended

We really enjoyed the helpful and friendly staff, the peaceful surroundings (horses, grassland...), and the rustic charm and appearance of the property. We enjoyed our mornings having a relaxed coffee in the garden. Our room was pretty large. The hotel is ideally located near Kopački Rit and Osijek, offering easy access to sightseeing while still providing a peaceful escape from the crowds.

Very nice hotel, in a quiet area. Perfect for a one-night stand, but not only. The triple room I had was clean, big and nice. We arrived very late at night and found everything ready at the reception. Very good breakfast. Very kind staff. We will definitely stop by this hotel!

Comfortable and spacious apartment located in a nice neighbourhood relatively close to the places of interest. Helpful and friendly staff. Parking right next to the door. And an anti mosquitoes repellent was also provided!

Breakfast was not part of the deal, as we knew. It is probably too far to walk to the centre conveniently but there is tram nearby and taxis are good value. The apartment was spacious, clean and well-equipped. The hostess communicated efficiently and attended punctually at the time we agreed with her. Our short stay was trouble-free.

This apartment is so clean and comfortable, a real home from home. Stocked with coffee, cold water, first aid kit etc. everything is so easy! Close to the university and only a 20 minute walk to the centre, or a little under £4 by taxi.

Self check-in was great because the directions were clear. Heaps of extra stuff in the unit that some people usually charge you for like toiletries and sweets. Awesome experience and next time we're in Osijek we'll definitely come back here.

Brilliant location in a pedestrianised street close to everything on Osijek. The apartment is modern, clean and has everything you need and also has a great balcony on the back overlooking a green space where you can sit and enjoy breakfast/lunch/dinner. Guests also have the use of an outside dining / bbq area in the large back garden

Very stocked of the essentials needed to have coffee or tea in the morning and prepare meals. Close to all amenities, roomy and very comfortable. Host is friendly and has info on where to eat and what sites to see. Plenty of hot water for 3 adults to shower.

The apartment was very nice, there was a cozy balcony and patio with a barbecue which we used. There was a desk in the bedroom so I was able to work from there comfortably. The location was good, it was quiet even though located really close to the centre. The host was great, Mladen is an incredible person, we had issues with our car on the day we were leaving and thanks to him the issue was solved in less than an hour. He found a person to fix the car and stayed with us until we were ready to leave. Definitely would recommend it and would go back there if we visit Osijek again.

The host is helpful and friendly. The apartment is very well maintained and has everything you need for a longer or shorter stay. The location is excellent, with bus and train station nearby. There are also shops and restaurants nearby, and the city center, parks, and the Drava River can be reached with a short walk.

The host was very friendly and sent me the wi-fi password in advance, so we could contact them through WhatsApp about our arrival, because we were afraid the cell connection would fail. The apartment is cozy and lovely, more than one would need for a night's stay. We had a private entrance, very close to the car. Very quiet, a really comfortable bed. We would love to come again! Thanks!

A nice apartment, in a quiet area but very near the center, and the bus station. The bed is very comfy, and the kitchen was equipped with all the stuff we needed. The host was also very nice and helpful.

Super easy to get in, you get a text with the door code and don't have to mess around with anything. Room was absolutely spotless and very nicely furnished with attention to cute wholesome details. The apartment feels like a new modern build, with very nice appliances.

Awesome clean little apartment, with super clear and easy self check-in instructions. I just stayed for one night, but it has everything to make your stay comfortable. Very nice price too! I'll stay here again for sure when I go back to Osijek.

We loved the little apartment, the location was very good, parking was easy, it was well equipped, modern and spotlessly clean. The check in instructions were well communicated and easy to follow and the host Oliver was accessible when we needed help with making a booking and also gave us good advice on places to visit, an event that was on and a place to eat with local foods. We would recommend the apartment to others however as pictured in the advertisement there is a narrow steep staircase leading to the loft bedroom and also a winding narrow staircase leading to the apartment, so for people who are elderly or unsteady on their feet the accommodation may not be ideal.

The guy is really friendly.and helpful. I really enjoyed staying here. Also lots of people out and about once you're on the main road, the area has a positive feel to it. Good price for the city.

The room was perfectly clean, comfortable. The guy at the caffe bar was kind and helpful! It you would sleep somewhere for a night while travelling it is totally the perfect accomodation!

A very comfortable option if you need a place to stay for one night on your way to your holiday destination. Located at the outskirts of Osijek, in a quiet part of the city. There was no problem with a last-minute late arrival.
