Beautiful property facing the sea, clean and well maintained property care beach. Our second stay here and the staff are warm and try to cater to your every need. I had a last moment request for a half day extension due to changes in flight timing which they accommodated. The spa has been rebranded the St Regis Spa and it’s a big improvement in terms of treatment and products. My daughter had her first spa experience and they were wonderful. The staff at the beach are so attentive and friendly, lots of good food optiobs at the beach grill. The Fine Dining restaurant is a must for at least drinks at sunset, excellent service and the Orangerie (main hotel restaurant) has a breakfast feast and varied all day menu, and the Astor bar has fabulous atmosphere. Butler service was prompt and friendly, amazing suite facilities, we were very luckily to have it. Wonderful piece of luxurious paradise for a few days. This is one of the best hotels that I ever been to! The property is gorgeous. The private beach is also amazing with breathtaking views! The breakfast buffet is one of the best! There is a wide selection and everything tasted amazing. The property and room was very clean. My room was just amazing. It was spacious and had an amazing view of the beach. All the restaurants at the St Regis are veryyyy good! The staff is so genuine and helpful. I love the tour that they give you when you check in. I highly recommend staying here! Don’t even think twice, you will love your stay!

The resort is nestled in a tranquil location, plushed with surrounding greenery and a beautiful seafront. Upon arrival, my family and I were greeted by friendly and helpful concierge and Butler team members. The entrance feels grand and the building and lobby looks contemporary yet grandeur. Checking in was smooth sailing as we were busking in the beauty of the property, while awaiting the reception to complete the process. Thereafter, a friendly Butler was assigned to take us for a tour of the facilities and welcomed us warmly to our suite with partial sea view. During the tour, the building is well maintained in pristine condition though the ambience looks dated and rustic. The suite is comfy and roomy as well, we had a comfortable 4D3N stay. Special compliments to members of the highly professional Butler Service Desk, namely: • Jazlee • Nurul • Dorcas • Masha They have worked tirelessly to provide us with prompt assistance, and we are entitled to 6 cups of complimentary beverages per day, plus 2 free linens pressing. Special dining highlight was our visit to the stand alone KAYUPUTI fine dining restaurant which enthralled our imagination and tantalise our taste buds throughout the evening with unique dishes, curated by their head chef meticulously, and every dish has a unique story to unravel. Overall, it was a relaxing and hassle free holiday, and the daily breakfast spread was wonderful too.

St Regis langkawi is a tropical paradise nestled in a private corner of the island. Rooms were a great size and our balcony had a great view with a picture perfect setting to unwind. Our butler was fab and always at hand for anything. Service as whole across the hotel was top notch. All staff were extremely attentive and had great attention to detail. During our stay we enjoyed the evening buffet which was Malaysian cuisine. The outdoor bbq area was a great addition. A highlight for us was enjoying sunset drinks at Kayaputi bar sitting on the nets. Sunsets were unmatched. I initially was unsure about kayaputi restaurant, but I am so happy I went as the food was phenomenal. Chef team were so welcoming and the lobster was superb. The beach grill is a great option for lunch as enjoyed fresh fish and seafood. Would highly recommend st Regis for anyone looking for a luxurious relaxed stay with unrivalled sunsets

This hotel was absolutely amazing! 5 star experience and service all around. We took a lot of time deciding which property to stay at during our weekend in Langkawi and are so unbelievably happy we chose the St Regis! The staff is so warm and welcoming from the moment you walk in until you leave to your plane gate! That’s right - they even have an airport lounge to get you ready for your flight with refreshments and light snacks. They literally thought of everything from A-Z in terms of customer experience. When we first checked in we had a small issue with our room that honestly wasn’t anything major, we just wanted a newer/more updated room. We were instantly upgraded to a suite and the staff made sure we were taken care of for our entire weekend stay. Everything was so appreciated, they really do think of the small details and cater to every single guest. The hotel itself is absolutely breathtaking and perfectly located. Clean beach, an UNBEATABLE, 5/5 breakfast (best breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel - which says a lot), family friendly and still perfect for a couples getaway!! Loved everything about this place and can’t wait to go back.

The room is so spacious even with an extra bed being added. The bathroom and the outdoor jacuzzi is a blast. The helper helped us to set up the jacuzzi and the water was kept warm until the next morning which we had another dip in the jacuzzi. We were there to celebrate a birthday of our dear friends, and the hotel decorated the bed in the room and gave her a palette of cakes and chocolate. We enjoyed the time there as it is a big property where we really have quiet and private time.

Superb hotel and great facilities. We stayed at the Garden View Room Ground Floor. The room was really nice and the bed was so comfy. Plus, the jacuzzi was great. The staff was super friendly and the service was very good. My kids really enjoy the pool and the kids club activities. The breakfast was nice and the view was spectacular. Special thanks to Mr Amirul for being so nice and helpful. My kids still remember you.

The beach in front of the Hotel was amazing, very calm, and empty, only for the guests of the hotel mainly. There was a little bit of trash sometimes in the water, like plastic, bottle, which I think come from some boats far away from the hotel. Breakfast was fantastic, for me one of the best I ever had in hotels. Room was a dream, with sea view, a jacuzzi only for us, just walk to the beach directly, very quiet and private. The service was wonderful, always very kind and supportive. We loved the Malaysian restaurant IkanIkan, the food was amazing, specially the honey dessert :) and the bar to stay in the evening is very cozy and has good drinks.

Peacefulness, quiet, calm, luxury comfort but not over the top. No sensory over load, no loud music in breakfast area/restaurants/pools, but good taste and beauty in terms of architecture, decor, colouring, materials, landscaping, service. No cars. There are langur monkeys and lovely birds just outside your room. It is not crowded, but secluded and atmospheric. Upper room with sea view was beautiful with an indoor jacuzzi, superb bed and bathroom. Even though the same building has four units, no sounds or disturbance can be heard from the neighbours. Service was great, respectful and considerate. The area is vast and there are bicycles to get around. Tennis court is great, with the possibility to borrow the rackets and balls. Spa looked great, though I didn't use it at the end. Food in Ikan Ikan was very tasty. Can recommend also the in-room dining burger, but not the pizza. Drinking water is complementary and available at the room, pools, gym.

The experience was very special. Team is very local and really helpful throughout the 2 week stay that we had. Garden room large, with outdoor shower and jacuzzi. Nice walk to breakfast and close to restaurants. Restaurants quite expensive (especially wine), but food quantity is such that plates were shared and were more than sufficient. Quality of food and service very good. Ecocentre and mangrove 'swamps', together with Langkawi cable car (go early) must do visits whilst in Langkawi. Taxis on Langkawi by Grab app, which was ridiculously inexpensive and easily justified high levels of tipping. Beach wonderful, but jellyfish restriction for sea swimming (Feb). Overall, lovely place and people, backed by excellent Four Seasons culture.

The room was very clean. My room facing sea view and the sunset was really fantastic. Private Jacuzzi facing the sea and on open air .. are really good and very romantic. Staff are super duper good & very friendly, they served beyond expectation .

The room was comfortable, view was spectacular and jacuzzi was great. The water in the shower was very powerful, strong enough to invigorate one's tiredness. Staff were friendly.

Premium Jacuzzi Seaview room was superb. Live DJ playing great music. The resort aesthetic was vibrant.

The beach is just few steps away from our room. Me & my wife had a wonderful time in the beach. The waves were awesome. The resort itself, the location & ambience was so beautiful. The staff were so helpful & efficient. Breakfast was good. Had such an amazing view from the balcony & enjoyed the jacuzzi. Really enjoyed our stay there.

Location was good private beach and loved the Beach club opened till 12 mid night as 90% of Langkawi is closed at 10pm. We got the premium rooms which were the best in the hotels. Luxurious and clean amazing breakfast view along the beach.

Staff at reception were so welcoming and friendly. Very helpful and accommodating. Good location, 10 mins from airport. Clean and comfortable rooms, ample parking. Great for a night or two for a stopover before heading to the Thai islands or elsewhere that you don’t need to be located on the beach or in an all-inclusive resort. Beach is 5 min drive away.

Great budget friendly accommodation. The hotel was very quiet when we stayed, which we liked. We had a garden view room which was a lovely relaxing space. The pool was nice and the staff were very welcoming. A couple of restaurants nearby but other than that a taxi into the main area.

It was located in a good area, around a 25 minute walk to Cenang beach, most of the time we just got a grab anyway, because we’re lazy. Room was clean, had everything you needed and was nice and spacious for all our belongings. Also the staff are really nice, and helpful if you do need any help or have questions. Couldn’t particularly fault the place for what we paid, and how close it was to the beach.

My stay at The Danna Langkawi was nothing short of fabulous! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and pampered with thoughtful touches like a neck massage and tea upon check-in, which truly set the tone for a relaxing stay. The room was fantastic—clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with a sleek, modern aesthetic and fresh flowers that created a soothing atmosphere. I stayed in a corner sea view room, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Watching the sunset over the ocean from my room was a highlight of the trip! They even went out of their way to make my birthday special, which made my stay all the more memorable. The property itself is stunning, with pristine grounds and a private beach that was clean and well-maintained. Every part of the hotel exudes elegance and tranquility, making it the perfect escape. The food was exceptional. We enjoyed Indian dishes, and the chefs were more than happy to accommodate our requests. Bhoomi, who was working at the restaurant, was especially friendly and attentive, ensuring we had one of the best meals we’ve ever had. The breakfast spread was equally impressive, offering a variety of delicious options. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. I can’t recommend The Danna enough—it’s a place I would happily return to. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Stayed 5 nights in a princess beach villa and on the whole excellent service, with one or two things that let it down - we asked for a table to be reserved at the Terrace but it wasn’t made and upon appearing for dinner, no table for us, hastily thrown together which was very disappointing, and a bit embarrassing having to ask for condiments, cutlery etc. Beach villa was lovely esp the pool, not cheap but worth it for the peace and privacy. In room dining was good and arrived quickly, not an extensive choice but good enough. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. The buffet dinner was also varied and hot, with an excellent range of cuisines. Mini bar topped up daily, but fresh milk needs requesting if you enjoy tea/coffee. Our arrived in a tiny jug, but that was solved by requesting a whole carton instead. Two sun beds reserved in the beach for each villa which was lovely at the end of the afternoon. We didn’t use the main pool but it was always busy. The hotel has a range of trips and experiences on offer but we sourced our own. Staff very friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble, although we did need to chase up some items of laundry, not a big deal. Taxis/Grab easily available, the SkyCab is close and very enjoyable. On the whole, it was very enjoyable and relaxing with one or two things that let it down for us. Not the cheapest hotel on the island but for a treat, it met our needs despite one or two issues. We would return without a doubt.

A stunning setting, The Danna really is a place of luxury. You wake up in the most comfortable bed, walk onto your balcony to look across the harbour for a morning view. The shower is powerful with Jo Malone products for use. A plentiful breakfast which is varied, fresh and delicious. So many options, the head chef also present to check guests are happy and catered for. The pool and beach are both clean and maintained to a high standard. Each day the pool is brushed clean. It was great to see various birds flying overhead or in the distance, and be uninterrupted on the private beach. The staff are pleasant, responsive and accommodating, without at all being intrusive. During storms or rain-showers, staff came to each person with an umbrella, whilst others were cleaning up water at entrances and ensuring everyone was safe. All in all, a refreshing and relaxed experience. I’d love to be able to stay again ❤️

Panji Panji is a gorgeous, small collection of houses set in a lovely gardens with a great coffee cafe. It is situated alongside the river which leads out to the beach and the sea. We were met there to be given our keys and a tour by Wan who was so helpful. He was great through our whole stay, making sure we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable. Our house was lovely - it had plenty of space, a big comfortable bed, and a terrace outside. The pool is set in its own private garden: during our stay it was hardly used by anyone but us and the hummingbirds which come into the garden to feed from the flowers. Breakfast is taken in The Smiling Buffalo coffee house: the food was delicious, plenty of choice, the coffee is excellent, the staff all lovely. Ayisha was super helpful letting us know places of interest and arranging hire car and scooter when needed, these were dropped off outside for our convenience. We loved the location, it is so quiet. We had dusky leaf monkeys visit us during the stay and saw kingfishers and hornbill birds along the river whilst walking to the beach.

Amazing tree top apart (definitely get the top floor one if you can). Lovely veranda with a chill out area to read and chat. The rooms are really spacious with high ceilings and was very quiet at night with the sounds of nature around. The pool was nice and usually really quiet. We hired a car which made exploring the island really easy (highly recommended and not expensive if you go through a local company) The cafe is very popular and busy and the staff were very friendly and the food tasty and of good quality. Special shout out to Wan who was our host for the room. He was very friendly, helpful, kind and chatty. The place is a little bit away from the main beach but we liked the walk into town and there were so good restaurants near by especially the Thai restaurant called Pai Kin CFood - we went twice and was vey tasty and good value.

When it is possible, I always try to find a small nice guesthouse instead of big international chains. The location is very close to the beach and the market and still very quiet. Airport is 10 mins by car. It will cost you 10 RM to get there. Approx 3.5 AUD Room was spotlessly clean and large enough to feel yourself comfortable even for a long stay. I would like to mention that every detail and every corner of the interiors and exteriors are built with love and perfect taste. The staff are very nice people with a very gentle character of hospitality. The breakfast was included, and I picked Maryam's crep with mango and vanilla sauce. It was incredibly delicious. The coffee was on them, too. So I was sorted for until afternoon. I would like to express my gratitude for your gracious hospitality and the complimentary provision of a room for me to rest and freshen up prior to my flight. Beautiful relaxing tropical oasis environment 👌 The staff were exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond with their efforts. They were super friendly, inviting and generous, making me feel very supported and looked after as a solo traveller. Amazing breakfast included every morning at the cafe which is very popular that everyone comes to visit I was delighted to have a free upgrade to a larger Villa with bed, bathroom, shower and bathtub with a beautiful window to view the pool and trees, which was beyond spacious The pool was perfect to relax and unwind in, surrounded by so much beautiful nature, including butterflies and birds Short walk to the beach.

Ekin and Wan were wonderful hosts, so efficient and friendly all the time. Communication before was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Room number 1 upstairs was amazing! Spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean, large comfortable beds. Rainshower amazing, WiFi and air-conditioning excellent. Pool was a bonus and beach and restaurants were in easy walking distance or a very cheap grab taxi! Finally the breakfasts were fantastic and relaxed environment.Strongly recommended!! Wonderful setting and tropical feel. Amazing!!

Ambong-Ambong Villas was the perfect hidden gem in Langkawi — beautifully secluded yet close to all the main attractions. We had an amazing time at the hotel. The private pool offered complete privacy along with stunning sunrise views — a truly peaceful escape. The food was exceptional, whether it was breakfast or dinner. Every meal felt special. A huge thank you to Hafiz, Umi, and the entire Ambong team — their friendliness and warm hospitality made our stay unforgettable. We truly enjoyed every moment and would love to return here every year. I hope Ambong-Ambong continues to grow and expands to other islands and resorts — they deserve all the success!

Beautiful pool villa on the hilltop amongst the forest. Stayed at the Kemarong Villa which faces the sunrise which were stunning each morning. The villa was spacious and clean, while the pool was amazing with a view of the nearby islands. A number of dusky langurs, long tailed macaques and various birds also frequented the villa which was amazing to see. Staff were very friendly and accommodating! Highly recommended

Location was perfect, amazing breakfast, amazing villas with stunning views but more than everything the staff were unbelievable, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. did not want to leave!!!!. Will be visiting again on a regular basis

* The staff is super friendly and helpful . *The place is very nice , swimmpool is clean and u can see the beautiful sunset staight up from the Swimming pool . * facilities are good , everything was available from the kitchen to the room and everything. * the Breakfast is very poor for the value of the money we have paid . Not fresh not clean and smells bad , especially the Eggs !! . * for the Garden : becuse of the heat and humidity there is alot of cocroaches, musquetos and lizard . After the sunset it's never possible to set out side the room because it will be filled with all of insects. * for not monkeylovers, if you are there you expect alot of monkeys coming and stealing anything front of their eye's, food , drinks, your personal stauff, so you have to keep fridge and all doors all the time closed .

The service is top notch. Staff members at the hotel were kind they were very helpful..We stayed at V8 (Villa Temoyong).. It was very calm, peaceful and serene.. Aside from its spaciousness and comfort, the villa is fully equipped with irons, hair dryers, ovens, microwaves, coffee machines, and fridges. We receive our meals at the right time every day. The food is excellent.. The view of the beach and sunset from our villa Temoyong is truly breathtaking .. It is an experience that will never be forgotten .. We hope to visit this place again insya-Allah. From arrival to departure, I have zero complaints.🥰

Food is good, i did not opt for free breakfast but had ala carte - lunch and dinner. They do add fish oil in their dishes so be specific if you don't want to be added. The jacuzzi is normal water. Everyday room is cleaned at 10 am. Beach access is great and has beautiful view.

This was the best resort I have ever been to. The only bummer was the 3.00 pm check in time. The breakfast was exceptional, the view is to die for. The rooms were cottage style and super spacious well maintained and clean. The swimming pools, the jacuzzi all were amazing it would have been a 10/10 kinda review but the WiFi was like it was from the stone ages.

The room was large and clean, located right on the beach, with a great and peaceful view. The hotel restaurant, also beachside, had an excellent view, and a rather generous buffet breakfast. The lunch we ordered was average, though. The hotel's location is about a 10-15 minute walk from the town center, far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but not too far for shopping. The hotel staff were also very friendly and extremely helpful. Worth mentioning is that we had to catch an 8 a.m. flight on the day of our departure, and needed our breakfast packed by 6:30 a.m. Upon reaching the airport, we found the packed breakfast to be surprisingly plentiful.

The location was the best you could wish for in our point of view. It is in walking distance of some restaurants and 10-15 minutes by car to Cenang Mall where there are shops, restaurants & duty free shops. The resort is right on the beach front and the beach is so beautiful and private that you have it almost to yourself. It is the perfect place to relax under one of the tiny roofs at the beachfront for hours and hours and then head to dinner. There is so much of greenery and gardens to walk. The chalet was nice and clean & very spacious. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating. We loved it here and would definitely return again to this place.

I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay for my visit to Langkawi Island. The location was perfect. A quiet setting on an uncrowded beach with beautiful views. The food was delicious 😋. Their staff very friendly and professional. My room was spacious, quiet, and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. There's a sitting area and dressing table off the bathroom. I also like the massage at their spa. I booked for 3 days initially, but ended up extending my stay for two days longer. I could have stayed even longer.

My stay at Resorts World Langkawi was nothing short of spectacular! Located on the pristine shores of Pantai Tengah, this resort offers the perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, and adventure. Breathtaking Location! Waking up to stunning ocean views and lush greenery was a dream. The private beach is serene, with soft white sand and crystal-clear waters. Our Spacious, elegant, and impeccably clean room had a gorgeous balcony overlooking the Andaman Sea. The modern amenities made our stay incredibly comfortable. We loved the infinity pool and water sports options. The staff was friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile.

Wonderful experience from check in to check out. My seaview room had a view to die for, so calming picturesque view. Loved the breakfast as well as dinner we had at the restaurant for 4 nights. The band that played every day is so good. We enjoyed their music as well as their friendliness, including the guests in the music. The best part of our stay? - the AMAZING STAFF. Every single one of them was so polite, friendly and helpful. I could see that they were like one big family. We really miss them. The boat for dinner cruise, as well as island hopping is at the hotel's doorstep.

The resort is really nice, located right on the seashore, and offers a beautiful scenic view of the sea. We had booked a standard sea-view room, and the balcony was superb - it truly lived up to the name "sea-view". I also enjoyed the swimming pool and the Indian restaurant, and the staff were very helpful. The resort even has a dedicated office to help arrange fun adventure activities, which is especially useful for people visiting Langkawi for the first time.

We loved the infinity pool! Very good breakfast, comfy bed and clean room. The staff was very attentive amd friendly. We loved the peace and quiet and food was delicious and well priced as well!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The room was fantastic with a super comfy bed, plenty of space, and a tub and shower. The daily cleaning service was top-notch, and I loved the private balcony with stunning sunset views. The breakfast buffet was impressive, with plenty of Western options to choose from. The huge pool was a great spot to relax, and the sunsets were breathtaking. But the real highlight of our stay was the beach bar and an amazing bartender! We chatted with her for hours, and she made our stay even more special.

We were impressed that they catered for vegan/ vegetarian and the staff were helpful when we had any questions regarding this and the manager of the restaurant was very friendly and accommodating. Thankyou. The manager of the hotel Benji was also very helpful and accommodating and we had a lovely stay. The lodge we stayed in was awesome and the sea views were great 😊 the pool was awesome and the views were great. The bar down on the beach had recently opened and we went a couple of times to have a drink, the bartender was really friendly and atmosphere was great. Good luck with that😊

Clean property with good service. Breakfast options were good and we loved the stay. Especially the pool and the private beach. Staffs seemed to be less in number but that was okay. Friendly staff and quick responses make it as a go to in langkawi! And plus — it is budget friendly!

The staff was very kind and I really like the restaurant the food was actually yummy the pool was so awesome and I like how close it was to The jetty complex. I had to book at the last minute and it was so easy and I was able to check in right away. The room was amazing I love the shower head in the bathroom everything was so clean and very comfortable

Spent one night here for transit. The room was very spacious and clean, with nice lighting that made sleeping more comfortable. The area was quiet, and the AC was perfect, it didn’t blow directly on my face even though it was positioned parallel to the bed!

Wow! This place really is as amazing as I’d hoped that it would be. We recently had 6 nights in a canopy room in the main building. Location wise we felt this was better for us than a villa as the main dining room for breakfast (and dinner), hotel reception, bar and the Pavilion restaurant were easily accessible. The Canopy Deluxe room was just perfect with a beautiful seating area, bed, bathroom and balcony. The hotel is on a bit of a hill with a lot of steps. It was fine to walk down to the beach but we did use the buggies on the way back and when we ate at the Beach Club or Gulai House. The food at The Datai is amazing, breakfast is the best buffet ever and all of the restaurants had amazing food for dinner. We stayed half board which was perfect as after breakfast we weren’t really hungry until early evening. The complimentary fruit kebabs, ice cream and cocktail delivered to our sun loungers definitely helped bridge that gap. We spent every day at the beach, we’ve never been anywhere before where we didn’t want to leave the hotel and explore locally but we just wanted to savour every single moment at The Datai. What can I say about the hospitality service? It’s absolutely first class, everyone was so friendly, helpful and professional and a joy to be around. I understand that 40% of guests at The Datai are returning guests, I can absolutely understand why that is. Thank you to The Datai for the most relaxing, enjoyable holiday ever.

The hospitality provided by Fatimah was superb during our arrival. She is super polite and friendly to make sure our check-in was smooth. The transportation arranged by The Datai was comfortable. The room was so spacious and the kids love the big bathtub the most in the room. We booked The Chef Series and had a wonderful fine dining experience where the kids were taken care by the babysitter from The Datai. The lotus pond near to front office is the place where young kids like to hang around to observe difference species of frog no matter in the morning, afternoon or evening. The beach is accessible either by 5-10min walk or by buggy service. For the breakfast, The Datai Signatures menu was provided and we can order the delicious menu foods on top of the buffet breakfast. The beach is superb clean! The Beach Club Team would make sure you get hydrated at the beach by providing still water and ice cup for you while you're enjoying at the beach. We were really enjoyed our stay in The Datai and looking forward to returning again!

The most amazing holiday ever for us, (for context - I'm 61 and have I been lucky to have quite a few great holidays). We really didn't want to leave, we loved it at the Datai and I cried when we had to leave. From being met at the airport in Langkawi by the Datai team, to being dropped back at the airport our stay was perfect. Everything about the Datai is amazing, the food, the setting, the rooms, the nature experiences, but most of all we were so impressed with all the team that work there. We saw so many animals, birds and reptiles including the amazing Great Hornbill. The service at the Datai is perfection, we couldn't fault it - attentive but friendly and not at all stuffy - the atmosphere is relaxing and everywhere is spotless. We ate at all of the restaurants and I can honestly say they were all great, we felt that the price of food and drink was reasonable when you consider the quality of the food and service. I had an amazing back massage and facial at the spa, I can honestly say the best spa experience I've ever had. We also did the morning and evening nature walks, plus the Journey through the forest walk - we would recommend all of these and we plan on doing more activities when we return, hopefully next year. Until then thank you to everyone at the Datai for an amazing holiday.

Very quiet environment, really have a WOW feeling when enter their entrance of hotel. Hotel was surrounded by forest, you can hear birds sound, frogs sound...and many friendly animals sound. Which you have the feeling of staying in jungle / forest (with the fresh smell of wood, grass and seawater) BUT in a very CLEAN room. Which you can enjoy the modern / clean room at the same time can enjoy the forest overnight feeling. (i not really like camping due to many facilities are not meet my expectation, but i do wish can overnight in the forest & beach at a safe environment). DATAI fullfil my dream....actually is over my expectation. Cleaner often come to the room to clean and tidy up the room, other service providers also keep checking whether our ice and drinks are enough or not. Excellent service provider....if financial is allowed, i wish to stay there at least 3 months :) Their Thai food must try, which i hardly to get this type of taste from outside Thai cuisine. The cultures of the staffs are good, very friendly and helpful.

this place is gorgeous, but what surpassed the views and facilities was the service. We have never stayed in a resort with such great service. The staff here seemed to read our minds. Before we ever had to ask for anything, there were 3-4 people offering to assist us or bringing us what it is we were thinking. The mini bar items (cokes, beer, etc) and snacks were complimentary (except for liquor), which is something we have not experienced anywhere else, and every afternoon at the beach they walked around with free ice cream cones. The fitness classes were free, which is also not offered at every 5 star hotel. The yoga venue is awesome, next to the beach but tucked away in the jungle. Our room was gorgeous, clean and filled with high quality and complimentary toiletries and accessories. The food was amazing everywhere we ate, and the buffet breakfast had complimentary mimosas and Bloody Marie’s! BAt first, we looked at the prices and were a bit shocked because they were high compared to typical Malaysian prices, but the food was excellent and each restaurant and the prices were honestly not as high as what we would’ve had to pay in the US for such a nice resort— especially considering the free amenities the hotel offered. Our son loved the free rentals for the SUP, body board and kayak, and my wife loved the gym and the helpful staff who anticipated her towel and water needs and even offered assisted stretching. She did the yoga and the core conditioning class.

Pure tropical luxury. Take advantage of the RC pick up which is just a 15 min drive to the resort. We stayed in a Queen Ocean view room and then a Beach Villa. Both were beautifully designed, comfy beds, and huge attention to detail for all things practical. Day/night blinds, large shower and huge bath, all the amenities one could need. The villa was our favourite with huge outdoor space, infinity pool and day bed. And steps from the beach. We had a roll out bed for my teen son, which whilst a little short was comfy! Food at breakfast was outstanding, as was both the Beach Grill for steaks and the Bar for fab bar food and cocktails. We also had the Malaysian night buffet which had so many freshly cooked local dishes. The beach bar and its staff were a highlight- watching the sunset with a fab drink. Every member of staff was very friendly, personable and helpful. It’s got a great gym and also we took a kayak out from the beach. Plenty to occupy when it got a bit hot. Would highly recommend the beach villa if travelling with teens - as gives space to chill out and a pool - as they can’t go in the adults pool (kids pool was busy with much younger kids). We stayed 4 nights, which was ample time to relax after a busy few days in KL.

Special mention goes to Chef Black from the beach grill restaurant and Chef Jay from Hai Yan restaurant. Highlight of my stay was enjoying a beautiful sunset at the Horizon restaurant, accompanied by the stunning 'Hornbill' cocktail. The sunset view was mesmerizing, offering a perfect setting to unwind and appreciate the natural beauty surrounding the resort. The infinity pool at the Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi was truly amazing, with crystal-clear waters and panoramic views. It provided a slice of paradise for relaxation and rejuvenation. The Ritz-Carlton Spa, located in such a gorgeous setting, offered tranquility and indulgence, leaving me feeling revitalized. Overall, my stay at the Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi was remarkable. The hotel is superb, great facilities and great staff. People are all very friendly and attentive. The check in procedure is great and easy. The staff explain very everything in detail, the breakfast, the facilities in the hotel and the room. Everyone is proactively to offer help and advice during our stay. The staff in the Langkawi Kitchen is great. Everyday, we have got recommended with their food and drink, don't miss that if you are staying in this hotel. The manager at the Langkawi Kitchen is very sharp and detail minded. He pays attention to every customer in the hotel and he can remember that I have coffee every morning. The yoga trainer proactively invited to the free yoga class. The staff did tell us a lot about Langkawi. The buggy service is great. The room is designed thoughtfully and we like every detail in the room. It's well furnished. The bed is great and comfy. The view is absolutely stunning with great sea view and forest. You can see different species of animals at the balcony which makes you feel that you are a part of the nature. Other than the Langkawi Kitchen, we had our dinner at the Horizon Bar. Great location for dinner with the infinity pool. You can see the most beautiful sunset in there. Drinks and food are nice, even though it's bit pricey. But it's a great experience spending time there. End up, we spent more time in the hotel as you have a lot to explore. The facilities in the hotel are all great, the beach, the gym room.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Ritz Carlton Langkawi. Location is superb, 10 mins drive from airport. Contemporary designed room. Comfortable bed and huge bathroom. The green marble top in the washroom is very beautiful & chic. Lighting is a little too dim at night esp the coffee making table, the lighting angle isn’t user friendly. We have to switch on our phone torch light in order to operate the coffee machine. Breakfast is good. Many choices. The area is cleverly designed with lots of green on the seating area and the tiger toys ward off the monkeys skillfully. We enjoyed our breakfast time very much. Buggy driver Mr Saifuddin is super friendly and attentive. He remembered our spa appointment timing when we just casually chatting during the previous buggy trip and he appeared at the right timing during heavy rain to send us to the spa without needing any pre-booking. The spa is good, well trained masseur. All the staff at the sunset horizon bar is very attentive, especially the chinese lady (from Penang) (Sorry forgotten her name) We have all the great memories staying at the Ritz. The only factor that made us rated 4/5 and not 5/5 is the food quality for lunch & dinner, it is either too salty or too oily.

First of all, the staff were very friendly and always accommodating. Thank you for making our stay so special. The included breakfast was easily the best breakfast of our two week trip to Malaysia. The vegan restaurant was the best restaurant we found on Langkawi. There is another restaurant with veggie/non-veggie options which was also good. We loved that the resort was located in the jungle along with all the wildlife and animals. It was beautiful and gave a unique vibe to the place. The hotel certainly felt more boutique when compared to the large hotels on the island which made it a much more personal experience. The swimming pool by the restaurant was great for a refreshing dip to chill. If you fancy, the beach is also just a three minute walk away. For going further afield Grab / e-hailing taxi is extremely convenient. The room itself was a great size and the bed was very comfortable. One touch I loved was that they offer ground coffee in the room rather than just instant. This is a small but much appreciated detail. We also loved the evening “turn-down” service in the room. It made our stay even more comfortable. It was also great that the checkout was at midday so we were not rushed to leave and then were able to stay an around after for lunch.

We loved everything about our stay. The villa was spotless, spacious, and immersed in the rainforest, with two comfortable bedrooms and a lovely balcony where we saw monkeys and geckos daily. The air conditioning worked well, and the housekeeping team provided daily cleaning and evening turndown service with great care. The breakfast at Rimba was delicious and peaceful, with fresh fruit and set options, and we also enjoyed the vegan breakfast one morning. Staff were outstanding—Lee was always ready to assist with transfers up and down the hillside, and Prem warmly welcomed us each morning, offering helpful local advice. We had access to all on-site restaurants and the rooftop lounge via quick buggy service. A serene and luxurious nature escape—highly recommended.

Ambong Rainforest Retreat is the best hotel I have EVER stayed at. I received a very warm welcome upon arrival before being shown around my room. There are a lot of good quality toiletries provided and plenty of tea, coffee and soft drinks. The little extras such as the chocolate cake in the room were a nice touch. There is yoga every morning (except Thursdays) which is free for in house guests. Definitely recommend and the views are beautiful. The breakfast at Pegaga (served 8am-11am) is amazing. You can also eat at their sister restaurant, Rimba. At Pegaga vegan, the breakfast is fresh and there is a varied selection. The smoothie bowls and avocado toast were my favourites. As a pastry chef, I recommend having dinner here if you get a chance, the food is very good. Most mornings we saw the monkeys swinging in the trees next to the restaurant, which I loved. It's a perfect retreat if you like nature but still want to be close enough to enjoy activities/beaches. I was very sad to leave, especially after making friends with all the wonderful staff here. They do an amazing job and it shows that they care!

The resort is nestled in the rainforest, the suite is spacious and comfy, equipped with all amenities necessary. We could watch from a safe distance monkeys, lizards and geckos from our suite. It is immaculately clean and mosquito repellent is provided every day. What makes the experience truly special is the fantastic staff at Ambong Ambong. Eliana, Nizal and Ali are super kind and friendly, eager to make you feel welcome and at home. The resort has two restaurants open for breakfast, lunch and dinner - Indulge in vegan food at Pegaga or watch the sunset from Rimba restaurant. Food is spectacular, fresh and flavoursome, lots of local dishes to try. The beach is just a 5-min walk across the road.

Wow an unbelievable hotel. So modern, the rooms were stunning. We extended our stay through the hotel itself and moved to a private suite around the back of the property which had gorgeous views across the Padi fields. Good selection of breakfast choices which you preordered the night before, other bits of food to pick from buffet on the morning too, including hot and cold drinks. Pancakes were great. Nice little pool to cool off after a hot day. Double room has large shared balcony across four rooms but incredibly spacious. Staff were lovely here, are extremely helpful, laundry service available also. Private parking and the electric gates which you have a key to open and close for yourself, makes the property feel very safe and secure. The staff helped us to rent a scooter from external company, very easy, extended the use of this through WhatsApp. There are Padi fields to the rear of the hotel, we drove around then one afternoon, the locals here are great/helpful with directions and will give you a wave as you drive round.

The Villa was really spacious with its own compound. Just nice with our 4 member family with the little one sharing our bed and another on the sofa. Unlimited drinking water from Coway dispenser and the coffee machine was one of our favourite feature too. We love the private pool as the 4 ft depth is just nice for adults, and that they rent floaties for the kids. Its the little details like room bathroom access from the pool area, 6 different pool chairs, outside sink etc which amazes me. The main breakfast options were limited but were really good as freshly prepared. We had nasi lemak, American breakfast set and Tuna croissant. Theres also variety of local kueh, cereal options for kids and juices as part of the breakfast spread. We even asked to take our dishes to the room, which they kindly allowed. We had the opportunity to meet Mr Tee, the local friendly owner who gave us tips of where to go, what to do, where to eat etc. P/S: Do have dinner at Pia's The Padi which is just 2 mins away which serves fusion cuisine which was scrumptious! The owner Jimmy, is Mr Tee's acquaintance :-)

We stayed one night at the villa with private pool with was simply amazing! Big villa, sun deck, several balconies, nice pool (a bit too cold though). The quality of the interieur is top. Well worth the money you spent. The other nights we stayed at a regular villa (private pool villa was only available one night unfortunately), which was also very nice. "Regular" Bungalows are also spacious with a little balcony and a shared pool. The breakfast was big and very tasty, everyone working at Villa Paddy is sooo friendlich and nice as well as helpful! So this was the perfect stay for us and we will be back a 100%. Check it out!

Very nice hotel! Comfortable cottages/villas surrounded by well-groomed greenery. We stayed in the Villa Suite - very large, spacious interior with modern and stylish equipment. There is a small swimming pool at guests' disposal. The breakfast selection is limited, but everything is tasty and nicely served. The facility is located in the central part of the island, everywhere is easy to get to. The hotel staff is nice and very helpful! We will be back with great pleasure!

Wonderful stay, we’ll definitely be back! We had an amazing time at this hotel and would come back. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive and always helpful, whether we had questions, needed information, or just a friendly chat, they were always there with a smile and great service :) The breakfast selection was fantastic, varied, fresh and delicious, with something for everyone. We also rented a motorbike directly from the hotel, which was super easy and affordable, a great way to explore the island at your own pace. In the evenings, we usually ate at the restaurant next door, a true hidden gem! Delicious food, clean, budget-friendly, and such friendly staff. We absolutely loved it. But also the food at the hotel was absolutely delicious, twice a week with live music. All in all, a perfect stay. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Langkawi and are already looking forward to our next visit :)

The hotel was very beautiful, it has a minimal design and lovely suits, it’s very clean and well maintained. Housekeeping clean everyday and throughly. Always remembering to replace all toiletries. The communal area, restaurant, breakfast buffet and pool were exceptional. The food in the restaurant and breakfast buffet was excellent, good quality and filling. The location was great, only a 10 minute walk away from the main beach and fairly close to many of the islands major attractions. Plus you are provided with toiletries such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, shaving cream and razors, shower caps, shampoo and conditioner etc. which is very helpful.

The hotel is exactly like the pictures, amazing facilities! Everything is kept exceptionally clean, the lobby, restaurant and pool area are excellent and very modern! We had dinner twice at the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent with loads of options! Dinner outside in the pool area was amazing! Pool has several sun beds and plenty of space for everyone! Free and unlimited popcorn at the pool was the best feature of the hotel! Pool bar and drink deals were really good!! The hotel location is perfect to walk to the main Cenang area and to the beach and easy to get a Grab ride at any time to anywhere in Langkawi! Our room was great and had more than enough space with a full length mirror and a gigantic bathroom mirror, impeccable modern design!

The rating doesn't tell the full story. This is a lovely small hotel. Im not sure I can express how comfortable it makes you feel. Everything works and made our stay fabulous. The pool is shallow, long and thin and yet it is just right. Hotel can be busy with kids but there is still space. There are pool towels which they tell you to take.to the beach. Where else would do this? Balls and inflatables.provided for families. The pool surrounds are comfortable. Pool beds have cushions and umbrellas. Arranged in pairs. There are large sofas. Lounging chairs in the pool. A great view into the green forest at rear of the hotel. Little things like offering a complimentary drink. Fruit on a stick around the pool. With a smile. Space around reception area has an open feel. There is a library/business area. A tour desk. Bar and restaurant. Good breakfast buffet offering. The staff are so friendly, helpful and warm. All will stop, chat, say hello. What a wonderful hotel.

The hotel is great and offers excellent value for money. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with any requests. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. While the decor and furnishings are not the newest, they are still in good condition and maintain a cozy atmosphere. The pool is large and well-maintained, with plenty of sunbeds available. However, some of them didn’t have mattresses, which made lounging a bit less comfortable. The location is convenient, even if you’re relying on a car that’s not in the best condition. Everything essential for a relaxing stay is available at the hotel. Overall, a great choice for those looking for a comfortable and affordable stay with good service. Would definitely consider staying here again!
