The apartment was big, clean, comfortable, and had all the mod cons. It was really quiet in the building. Breakfast was a very good buffet and served right outside our room. Location was literally just around the corner from the train station and just 15 minutes walk from the central old town area. There was plenty of lighting and plenty of electrical outlets in the room, which you don't always get. It was also nice having keypad entry into the building and room so as not to have to fiddle with keys. There were a lot of pizza parlors and other restaurants nearby.

Modern clean rooms,comfortable bed, gated, easy parking, secure PIN code entry( no keys to worry about). Good sized shower ( not always the case in Europe!). Breakfast was good, nice common room available, staff are friendly and very helpful. Easy 15 mins walk to town centre or 5 mins to train station.

Our room was spacious and modern. Very comfortable. There is a communal lounge with a fridge stocked with drinks to buy which was a welcome addition. Breakfast options were varied and tasty. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.

Beautifully done up apartment with very pleasing and aesthetic decor. The room was very comfortable,clean and bright. The bathroom/washroom was very clean and hygienic. The breakfast was very sumptuous and varied. It was well laid out.filtered water,microwave and coffee maker were welcome The instructions were very clear and specific. Parking was very convenient

My stay at the hotel was wonderful — I spent two nights there. The hotel is beautiful and very peaceful, located in a quiet area. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the mattress was very comfortable — I slept really well. The bathrooms are large and clean. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, both at the reception and in the restaurant. I would especially like to thank Sofia at the reception — she was always ready to help with anything I needed. The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent — everything was delicious. My stay was very comfortable, and I truly enjoyed it. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is an excellent hotel of high standard. It has responsive staff and not only a great restaurant but also a very high standard breakfast that is included in the room price. It is only a year old and its fittings are beautifully considered and very comfortable. It is set in lovely gardens that are well-maintained. Service included small cake just before dinner time (rather than the usual chocolate). Restaurant menu was wide-enough to satisfy even if one ate there most nights. Wine list was comprehensive.

Entire staff was friendly and accommodating. Welcome drink in bar and cookies at turn were a nice feature. Breakfast buffet was very fresh with a wide selection of choices. A quick 10 minute walk to shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and was there to help for every request. A special mention to Sofia who checked us in and made sure our stay was comfortable. The hotel and facilities are spotless (although he rooms are n the smallish size) but all nicely renovated for a historic old hospital. Quiet rooms and amazing history in this not to miss place in Parma. Highly recommended!

I was not sure which rating to give. One strange thing happened on our 2nd morning at breakfast; my mom and I wanted to sit at a corner table, moved an empty chair there and the lady serving the breakfast started shouting at me very angrily. I think I was not shouted at like that ... ever. What a strange way to treat guests. Well, my mom told me I should not be so sensitive and the lady may have been tired. Otherwise, the hotel was wonderful: Good rooms: very clean, comfy beds, we had good quality of sleep. Strong wi-fi and good showers. Location: not directly in the center but walking distance (20 min though a lovely park). Reception was friendly and helpful. Restaurant on site is amazing; the breakfasts were very tasty and we had lunch there as well which was just the best. Book table in advance! Overall - very good place to stay but beware of the older lady in breakfast room :).

Lots of things you can count which make staying in this hotel comfortable and relaxing. First - free parking and you get personal care of your car. Then - amazing receptionists who are kind and helpful. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. You have blinds in the room and you can open window. The hotel is situated something like 15 minutes from the heart of Parma, but I would say, that the restaurant which is situated on the ground floor of the hotel is the real heart of the city. Amazing food and service and good wine list. I consider ristorante Cocchi as one of my favorite among all the restaurants in Italy.

We used Parma as a stopover on the way south after long flight. We had read about the restaurant Cocchi in Food and Wine and having it connected to Hotel Daniel was perfect. It's small but lovely quiet space. Well appointed rooms and terrific shower. The staff was friendly and the owner and family are delightful. Very reasonable price and their breakfast was delicious.

I booked this hotel as we were staying only one night and eating at Cocchi {restaurant attached to hotel). Reviews had been good but not great, so we were pleasantly surprised. The 4th floor room was spacious enough with a good wardrobe, and had all the latest amenities. The bathroom was also a good size with a large shower and lots of sundries. Everything was spotless. The large bed was extremely comfortable, the linens and towels all good quality. The staff were welcoming and ensured we had parking on their property. Check-in and check-out were simple. We easily walked to the historic part of Parma through the Ducale Park. Very good value.

Nice hotel for the category, friendly staff, quiet location. Beyond the apparent luxury, there is room for improvement. A limited selection of fresh fruit, a basic choice of cereals at breakfast. For dinner, the few tables without privacy only host unoriginal canteen cuisine. It is better to go out for a good meal at Alfione, Del Tribunale, Osteria dei Servi, Bequadro, etc. The worst is the shower 'narrow cage' of unacceptable dimensions for this category of hotel and the plastic shower head that oozes water at a constantly irregular temperature and impossible to regulate. Luxury means perfection. NH is not a luxury hotel.

Beautiful room and very convenient to the train. We walked to nearby shopping and tourist sites. Their was a bike rental shop near the train station also. Top notch staff. Samuele at the front desk was very helpful making recommendations of what to see, shopping, dinner, etc. Had an Aperol Spritz at the bar before our evening walk. Yummy! Breakfast was amazing! Will stay here again when in the area.

Literally at the train station, best location for the tour pickups. The hotel is very modern and clean and everything works well. Service is excellent. My room was really spacious and the bed super comfortable. The breakfast has free flow freshly sliced prosciutto and other hams, parmiggiano cheese, mozzarella, salad, fruit, hot dishes, pastries, breads, a juicing machine and fantastic coffee…truly superb.

Steps away from station. We used parma as a base for day trips ny train. Just a great stay. Could not have been bettet!

Clean, modern and stylish, very spacious room (the bathroom was amazing), great breakfast, friendly staff, excellent value for money. Conveniently located just across the street from Parma’s train station, within walking distance of the city center, with underground parking available. Highly recommended, eager to return!

The location was perfect, it was lovely and quiet, but also very close to the old town so it was very easy to walk to all the main sites. The decor and layout of the hotel was excellent, it felt very calming as soon as you walk in – and my friend and I fell in love with the big grey 'throne' chairs in the bar area! All the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the whole experience there was very relaxing. The snacks with every drink we purchased were most welcome too! The final shout out goes to the amazing shower and very comfy bed in our room :-) Suffice to say I would highly recommend and will definitely stay there when I come to Parma again.

The hotel was well equipped and maintained. The staff were very helpful. One went out of his way to take us to the gym which was hard to find. They lent us umbrellas and have good recommendations for shopping. Best of all was the restaurant. It rained one night so we decided to eat in. The food was very high standard. For example there was one delicious starter of raw minced fassone beef with caper ice cream, Parmesan and mustard sauce. Inventive and delicious. I also had the vitello tonnato and it was one of the best I have ever had. The breakfast was of a similarly high standard. Freshly squeezed orange juice, cappuccino made on request and soft tasty scrambled eggs. I would happily return to this hotel and certainly the restaurant.

great central location - 10-15 minute walk from the city center. very clean, spacious and comfortable room with air conditioning. The breakfast buffet was very nice, especially the fresh fruit and selection of local hams.

the breakfast was amazing. the concierge assisted us in determining a castle to visit. and the other concierge organized a Parmesan tour for us. so nice! the young man who handled suitcases etc was so helpful and assisted my husband with parking. just very special people here. the on site restaurant was excellent as was the bar.

Reception staff, Stefano and Stefanie, were extremely helpful with excellent guidance for making our stay simply the best! Parking, calling a cab, information regarding the museum and directions. The ambiance led by design of the reception and restaurant area as well as our room decor and comfort of the beds was appreciated. Breakfast was delicious!!

Excellent location, only 1 block from the train station. Very modern design. The staff were all friendly and courteous. Everyone we interacted with was helpful. The junior suite was well furnished. We had plenty of space and a king size bed which was very comfortable. A/C worked perfectly. Very little street noise with a room facing the street. Breakfast buffet was nicely stocked with all kinds of food hot and cold. The coffee both in our room and at the restaurant was delicious. Overall highly recommended. We would stay here again if in the area.

Nice hotel just down the road from Parma train station, not too expensive and has a pool and gym. It is approx. a 10 to 15 min walk to the centre of Parma so not too far away but not very close to supermarkets etc. Staff were friendly and helpful on check in and check out, reception and communal areas were clean and comfy as was our room that was very spacious for a family of 4. Would recommend and stay here again.

I only needed to spend the night. I arrived late and had to leave in the morning before breakfast. Check-in was quick - it's convenient that you can pay for parking and city tax by card along with the cost of the room. The garage is located behind the hotel building. Just around the corner. Since I was leaving before breakfast, I had coffee and sweets in the cafe to the right of the hotel exit. The cannolo there is not tasty, but the pastry with figs and candied fruits is great! I bought a large size to take home.

My stay at Savoy Hotel was very pleasant with a comfortable, quiet and well-equipped room, a nice breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. The location of the hotel was perfect for me: only a short walk from the railway station (I travel by train) and with all the local attractions within walking distance. There is a shop selling famous local specialties just around the corner of the hotel and a supermarket nearby. I can recommend Savoy Hotel.

My wife and I took ages trying to find the right hotel for our trip to watch rugby in Parma and visit other areas. We made a great choice in the Savoy Hotel, it is ideally located close to train station and centre of Parma. The rooms are just what you need, clean and comfortable. The staff are helpful and we loved the breakfast and the care the owners gave in making sure you were happy. We actually stayed once, moved to lake Garda and booked again on our return for the next rugby match. The hotel is quiet and you must book, you won’t be disappointed!. Thank you Savoy Hotel.

The hotel is perfectly located to explore the old city centre of Parma, everything is reachable by foot. The room was nice, clean, spacious very quiet and had a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was good with all sweet and savory delicacies available. You can easily reach the property by car, unload your luggage and park in a nearby parking garage Fratti Duc (it only costs 12 € for 24 hours).

The location was great. A short 10min walk from the train station & the historic city centre. Our room was on the 1st floor facing the street but was amazingly quiet. There were also good blockout curtains on both windows. The bed & pillows were comfy & bathroom was a good size with plenty of hot water. The breakfast included was continental but had the best coffee & you could get pancakes made to order. The staff were all very pleasant especially the lovely lady who oversaw the breakfast. Good value for money & we would recommend this accomodation.

This hotel was super clean and the bed was comfortable and the balcony perfect for us as we somke, the staff where so helpful and the girls of the breakfast side where so kind and sweet with us and even the reception staff where helpful. Will recommend this hotel for sure and it's just 10min by car away from central of Parma ❤️ And value for money

The room and interior of this hotel was so much nicer than some of the BW chain hotels I’ve stayed at in the UK. The room was very modern, clean and spacious, and our dog was welcome (even in the restaurant). The food in drinks in the restaurant was reasonable and of a very good standard, with very attentive service. We have an EV and had no problem charging in the hotel’s car park. Staff were very welcoming and helpful.

The room was with a king size bed which was small but typical of European size rooms. The room, bathroom and terrace were very clean. Their restaurant was excellent and their waiter Marco was awesome. Best food for dinner we had in Parma and so we had dinner there for 3 nights. We never had breakfast there bc we were always on the run, but did see that they had a very nice spread for breakfast.

It was very clean and the room aesthetic was nice. It had everything you needed to spend the night. Dinner and breakfast were good and catered for gluten free and available at the hotel. There was free parking just outside. A small pool with lounge chairs right off the lobby, so convenient. The room had a balcony and blockout blinds the air conditioner wasn’t too aggressive and the room kept cool for while even after turning it off. The staff were nice and spoke English.

The hotel itself was beautiful and well-maintained. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was extra large and extremely cozy. There was also a coffee setup in the room, and the coffee tasted great. Breakfast was also delicious, and overall, the room facilities exceeded our expectations.

Comfortable old style hotel on the edge of the Park Ducale, 12 minutes walk from the railway station and a very pleasant stroll through the park to the old town. Spacious room, very comfortable (firm) mattress, slept well. Good selection at breakfast although had to ask for a coffee from the machine in the kitchen instead of the alleged Americano in a metal urn. Staff all very helpful.

My stay at the hotel, for the two nights I spent there, was absolutely flawless. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, the room very comfortable and well-kept, and the breakfast simply excellent with a great variety. The location is very convenient, about a 10–15 minute walk from Parma’s historic center, which makes it ideal for exploring the city. Overall, I was fully satisfied and I would highly recommend it!

Hotel is very clean and tidy. They clean the rooms regularly, and bring fresh towels and toilet papper every day. Staff was friendly, always avaliable and helpfull. Breakfast was basic, but very good and there were healthy options to choose from. If you draw the line, you get a lot for very cheap price!

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Parma with paid parking nearby. Reception were very helpful, especially in explaining the parking and driving restrictions within Parma. The room was spacious with plenty of room in the bathroom too. The bed was comfortable and the hotel is in a quiet location. We didn't take the breakfast option, but the breakfast room looked bright and clean with plenty of choices to eat.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and it was just as good as our first stay. Nice sized room witha roomy shower. Bed is very comfortable and they serve an excellent breakfast. There are a number of very good restaurants nearby and it is just a short walk from the Theatre. Good central location. Highly recommended.

Make sure you try Ristorante Gallo D'Oro right next to the hotel, very convenient! Breakfast at the hotel was surprisingly varied and abundant, I particularly liked the always available chunk of parmigiano reggiano and the amazing self-service coffee. Location is extremely convenient, grants access to all the main bits of the city by foot, and yet it's neatly tucked away from most of the noise.

The hotel is in the heart of the city and location was perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and it seemed like they all really cared about the place. The room was very clean, aircon worked and everything just worked. Breakfast was great and had a good selection.

Awesome hotel in the very heart of Parma. Our room had a terrace with amazing view on local roofs. Extra clean room with spacious bathroom. Small fridge in the room in case you need. We didn't take breakfast, but there are plenty of local places to eat nearby. The hotel has own parking but in case you didn't book it beforehand you can use parking service - they take your car and return once needed, costs 25 euro per day. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Located perfectly in the historic center. The hotel is absolutely charming end VERY QUIET. The breakfast room is super nice and relax, breakfast was excellent. The staff very welcoming and available. The room was perfect, super clean just like the rest of the place and again, very quiet. This is by far my favorite hotel in 3 weeks of traveling in Italy. We had a pleasant stay at this centrally located hotel. The ornate lobby and bar area provide a touch of class, with rooms offering comfortable beds, reasonable Wi-Fi reception and a kettle. The breakfast buffet was good, with fresh coffee on request. We would have preferred a fridge to a mini bar and complimentary water could have been replaced daily. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel had recently left the Mercure group but our booking was honoured. The big advantage of the hotel is that it is a short walk to the station but centrally located beside the main square and attractions, and plenty of nearby restaurants.

Overall, the hotel location, central to places of interest and a short walking distance from the rail station. Accommodation was 5* - we had a balcony on 2 sides, table & chairs to relax with breakfast or at the end of the day. Very spacious room and clean. The breakfast food was fantastic - lots of choice and would accommodate all guests. Milk wasn't available in our room - this was easy obtain by the receptionist. So thank you to her. Would highly recommend this hotel and will be back again.

We stayed at the Century Hotel for three nights. We found the location to be very convenient near the train station and walkable to the center of the city. While we could hear people outside of the hotel at night, our sleep was not interrupted, and we didn't feel unsafe. The people at the desk were helpful and the room was clean and beds were comfortable. The Wifi worked well. They sold bottles of Prosecco in the lobby at a very reasonable price, and you could purchase salami, cheese, olives and breadsticks from a vending machine. That is convenient! Breakfast was good!

Location is very good, being near the train station, bus stops, and a short walk from the city centre. On our arrival, the receptionist was very helpful with perfect English and a welcoming smile. Our room was clean and comfortable.

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at this charming hotel for one night during our visit to Parm. Located in close proximity to the railway station of Parma, it made our arrival and departure seamless. It was also within walking distance of the center of Parma and all the bustling restaurants, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient. One of the first things that struck us was the impeccable cleanliness of the hotel. The lobby, hallways, and our room were all spotless, setting the tone for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The air conditioning in the room worked like a charm, providing respite from the summer heat and ensuring a restful night's sleep. The hotel's breakfast selection was good. There were numerous options to choose from, and catering to different tastes. From freshly baked pastries to a variety of fruits and cereals, the spread was not only delicious but also thoughtfully presented. However, what truly stood out during our stay was the warm and friendly service we received from the hotel staff. From the moment we checked in to the time of our departure, the staff members were attentive, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any queries or requests. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Parma for a short stay.

Cold buffet breakfast with variety of choice. Decor in breakfast room a little tired. Location great for main sights - duomo, baptistery and for choice of restaurants and cafes in the centro storico. Very nice hotel and an easy walk from Parma station, and an enjoyable 10min walk to the center. Many stores and sites to see along the way, but I suggest to get off the main road and wander. Welcoming staff, great suggestions for dinner, always helpful. Room was good for 2ppl with large comfortable bed and a sofa Breakfast was adequate for our needs. All in all I would recommend.

The room was spacious and very clean. It had complimentary water, coffee and juice. The bathroom was very big and very clean. The room was also very warm despite the cold weather. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Once we arrived we received an upgrade from the Annex to the main building. The location of the hotel is very good and close to everything and in addition we had a great view from the window to the river. The bed was super comfy and they have a good breakfast option. On our last day we had to leave before the breakfast but we received a coffee and a cornetto to go. It was so sweet from them. They offer good parking options. The 1st night we used a car park that was about 400 meters away but for the next day we received a parking place just outside of the hotel and that made our early morning leaving much easier.

Very clean, bright and comfortable hotel, in a nice, open location facing the river and only a few hundred meters from the very heart of Parma. We were lucky enough to find a parking space in the small car park in front of the hotel. The staff was very helpful. Nice to have some refreshments in the hall itself. The check out at midday was extremely convenient, because it allowed us to spend more time in town without having to move the car.

Dado Hotel is not near the central train station nor the sights of Parma. We took taxis and they are relatively cheap. The staff are great. The room was large, the bed comfortable. This is a quiet hotel in a semi rural setting, a prime location for travellers by car. Large lobby with bar, multiple seating areas and provided magazines. The restaurant on site is very good. We ate there both nights we stayed and especially enjoyed our interactions with Luca. I am sorry I didn't catch the name of one woman on recepetion with especially good English. She was so helpful to us with our limitations in language.

The hotel is in a good and quiet location, with free parking. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and approachable. Breakfast is decent.

Beautiful big Lobby. Receptionist very gentle and also very good English, Italian speaking. Parking Outside, enough places. I have like very much my received Sleeping Room, good working air-conditioning. I was positively surprised about my Toilet-Bathroom very very big with a Jakuzzi Bath Tube. Flat TV was excellent. Very very clean. Wonderful Breakfast Buffet with enough choices. Restaurant with excellent cooking. Not so far from the City Centre, with the Car about 10 till 15 Minutes. I can and will recommend this excellent Hotel, not far from the Highway.

Stayed there just for a night. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They have scrambled eggs/ sausages which is very unusual for Italian breakfast. Generally speaking breakfast was great. Location was perfect for me, because it’s very close to the main train station. Was perfect for one night.

-Location is awesome, 5-10 mins walk from Parma Station -Spotless Clean -Excellent Wifi -I like the link to enter into the property after 2200 hrs once reception is closed. But need Internet on your mobile to use the link. -Breakfast was with minimum choice but something is better than nothing. I choose the property as I saw breakfast was included, since I had a tour next day morning so it was easier for me to eat something before I leave instead of looking for something to eat from outside. Breakfast area is very small, seats of 12 people. -This place is highly recommended for solo traveler.

Hotel Brenta is a very clean hotel situated close to the train station of Parma and also 5 minutes walk from the city centre. Room for 2 persons was of a good size and bed was super comfy. Breakfast was also good, nothing to say. I had scrambled eggs, sausages, parma ham cheese....and also some tarts and croissants. Finally the hotel staff was very helpful throughout our short stay, especially the lady at the desk on our arrival which explained us everything to the detail offering us also an excellent capuccino and coffee with milk (maltese style!!) Consequently we felt like at home. Good job and keep it up.

The hotel is extremely clean, the staff was really kind and helpful, they went the extra mile to accomodate my requests, including an intolerance for breakfast. The meal itself was delicious every day. The location of the hotel is perfect, very close to the train station but also to the main monuments and places of interest. Overall great stay

Quick check-in and check-out procedures - no problems caused by the fact that you have to visit a different location for those. Friendly staff. A spacious room and a comfortable bed.

It was clean and convenient by foot to lots of sites.

Most everything about the room was good. Large spacious room. Close to the train station so I didn't need to pack the bags far.

Classic boutique hotel with all the quaintness, but modern amenities. The breakfast was prepared fresh with croissants, fruit, breads, pastries, etc. Cappuccino was prepared as a normal barrister would at any Italian cafe. You can also order eggs, French toast, pancakes and other breakfast items. The tall sweeping doors open to a quaint terrace with beautiful flowers and cobblestones. The marble floors were gorgeous local marble in the foyer/reception. The rooms were old modern, but very clean and the sheets felt like they had been steam pressed. The bathroom had a shower/toilet and sink but a little small. Where the bathroom was smaller the tv made up for it and looked to be 32”. The host I spoke with Angelica was charming, sweet and helpful. She recommended a wonderful restaurant for dinner and it did not disappoint. This town is where Parmesan cheese originated. You could visit local factories where the made the cheese too.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and furnished in keeping with the style of the property but with all the modern conveniences and the staff are all so friendly. Breakfast was delicious and there is an excellent restaurant next door for dinner. Its an easy 15 minute walk through the park opposite to the town center and I felt very safe as a single female.

Welcoming, informative, safe, and very comfortable for a night. A little bit of luxury for two weary travellers, charming surroundings and a well received breakfast. Staff were friendly and accommodating, set across the road from the park. Very enjoyable.

From our first encounter with Hotel Verdi, our experience was optimal. I messaged re: check-in time and parking, and I received an incredibly gracious note from the staff. On arrival, we were greeting warmly; the hotel amenities, attractions in the area, how to get around, etc., were all explained clearly to us. Beds were comfortable. The room was great. We loved the location, and breakfast was perfect- with great coffee. We got great recommendations for restaurants, and I felt that the area was safe. I would highly recommend the Verdi for your stay in Parma, especially if you are traveling by car.

Beautiful small hotel. Spacious room. Great lighting in modern bathroom. 2 comfy chairs to sit on in our room which is important to us. Parking directly in front of hotel. Best breakfast with timed, made to order food options. Across the street from a beautiful park. Very comfortable bed and linens. Wonderful restaurants recommended in the neighborhood.
