The property itself was lovely, very quiet and secluded which was exactly what I needed. Walking distance to the beach, supermarket and cafe. Nice and safe place to wander around. The staff were lovely, helpful and on hand if you called them. The gym was small but good for weight training, some machines didn’t work but if you’re happy with free weights then lovely to train with a nice view. The area was kept nice, lovely pool, plenty of Sun-loungers, and clean, spacious apartment. Nice area to relax, read and admire the views. Sunsets were stunning!

The location is perfect, but not easy to walk to the beach with kids, too dangerous to access. But driving to the nearest beach is easy. Staff is friendly and the apartment was great.

Beautiful facilities and super comfortable apartments. We only stayed for a night but I wish we stayed longer. Staff extremely friendly and provided us with a beautiful breakfast basket.

The welcoming. Miss Suzana is an extraordinary figure and person. She' always there for the guest, no matter what she will found the solution. The Breakfast incredible. She even drive us to a observatory picnic tour. We visit windmills. Incredible. Very beautiful place quiet connected 800m to Louriñha Dino park. And near praia Branca beautiful beach.

Everything was has we expected. As confortable was we needed, everyone so kind, amazing breakfast, the house really well decorated. The place we stayed was perfect and had the perfect space for 2 people

The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was plentiful. The room was clean and the location perfect for my needs.

- We were warmly greeted by the lovely Susana, who remained attentive and accommodating throughout our entire stay. - The lobby provided a relaxed atmosphere, and we particularly enjoyed spending time playing pool, which added a fun element to our evenings. - The breakfast offered was decent, with a variety of options, and the freshly homemade pancakes and scrambled eggs were a delightful treat. - Despite the inclement weather, the heated swimming pool allowed us to unwind and enjoy some relaxation. - The property's location proved to be convenient for exploring nearby attractions such as Peniche and Óbidos.

Very nice rooms: clean, lovely decorated and direct access to the jacuzzi. The beds were also very comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast, which was very delicious and would absolutely recommend staying there! Location is also great, the hotel is only a 10 minute walk away from the local port.

There is the option to reserve the Jacuzzi and the breakfast is freshly served and very tasty.

There was no one at the front reception but the host was very quick, helpful and responsive to phone calls and text messages any time. Space was clean. Shower pressure and temperature were excellent! Breakfast was great with breads warmed from the oven. They were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions which I really appreciate. Location was excellent, with a short walking distance to all the shops and the marina for taking a boat to the Berlengas island. Short driving distance to sea view seafood restaurant recommended by the host. Free parking spots in front of the hotel.

“In the Middle” is a very clean and confortable room, with a nice garden in front. Location is amazing, walk distance from all main restaurants and attractions. Kitchen facilities in kitchen embales is to do a very good use and e em cook small meals. Good shower, with hot water, and spacious bathroom.

The location was perfect. Very close to the entrance of the wall and near a lovely cafe but also cut off and quiet. The decor was clean, modern and very comfortable and we really didn’t want to leave. Everything was very well thought out.

The location is fantastic, right in the middle of the central Óbidos. Apartment was clean and comfortable. The pool is fabulous, it's shared but was never busy so felt very private. Even though it's close to shops and restaurants, the area was very quiet at night.

Impeccable location, clean, modern, good heating, comfortable bed and good shower. During the hot season, they offer a great pool and solarium. Complimentary espresso was great too!

My cozy cottage “Little One” had absolutely everything you could ever imagine needing - from an iron to a nespresso machine to a sandwich maker! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was beautifully decorated. The pool terrace was the PERFECT place to spend the hot afternoons.

The host Patricia is wonderful, accommodating and so kind. She made us breakfast earlier as we had to leave in the mornings before the normal breakfast time. Breakfast was done with love and care. There are only 5 rooms but breakfast was super varied. Patricia made eggs on request. Parking was available behind the the gate so no worries about the car during the night. We had an amazing room, huge bathroom. Very clean. Value for money is exceptional. Bed was comfortable. Big inviting communal areas. Pool in a nice garden. Good restaurants around and a beautiful beach 15 mins away.

Everything was perfect! Staff is very friendly, room size is perfect, comfortable beds and sheets (big plus!) everything made with care, breakfast was as well very nice! Location is a short drive from the beach’s and to make trips to Sintra or Óbidos. Was a great surprise and we would be back anytime, obrigada!

Everything about our stay was fantastic! Was very quiet and relaxing place with a lovely host. She booked us dinner in the local tapas restaurant in town that evening and it was the best food we have had in Portugal. Breakfast was very good and fresh. Would highly recommend!

This place is amazing - the warm and friendly welcome from the host, the beautiful and clean accomodation, the outside pool and the delicious breakfast are just a few things to mention here. We came with my little 6 year young daughter who felt welcome at the very first moment. Many thanks to host Patricia who gave us the feeling of beeing home. Everything! It is very very clean, spotless actually. The house is beautiful and the pool is very nice. It really is a Refugio. This was nicer and cleaner than many 5 star hotels, really. Breakfast was also very tasty and a lot of options! And orange juice was fresh! I will come back next time I visit Portugal!

Wonderful apartment located in front of the best beach in Peniche. This is the cleanest apartment I've ever stayed on, with everything sparkling clean, impeccable linen and towels, and a fully equipped kitchen. The host was super friendly despite having to wait for us to arrive later than expected due to our flight being delayed. She helped us with tips, had some complimentary coffee and sweets ready for our arrival, and was helpful during all our stay. The neighbourhood itself is not too special but the flat is just across some dunes from the beach, has a supermarket 10 min away by foot, the town center is about 15 min walking, and the flat is nicely decorated and very well insulated - at night you can't hear a sound despite being near the entrance road to Peniche. We could also leave the rented car in the garage which was super convenient. We were two adults and two kids and felt very much at ease at all times in this spacious, modern apartment. I would totally recommend it!

Catarina was brilliant - so kind, polite, helpful and easy to contact with prompt responses. A lovely lady who went out of her way to ensure we had a good time. The property was brilliant - nice to have the underground parking so that we could load/unload without getting wet. The lifts were clean and quick and the apartment was very well equipped and large. We loved the sea views. Good cleanliness should be noted too.

We had an amazing stay, the place is magical and the host is very kind and most helpful. Would 100% recommend.

The location of this hotel is excellent. It is beautiful and serene. Our room had an oceanside view, as advertised. Our room was exactly what we expected; it was large, and our beds were comfortable. I also appreciated the personalization I received once I arrived. People immediately called me by name, and once we entered the room and turned on the TV, it said "Hello, Ms First Name Last Name." I felt special. The outside pool area was beautiful. The indoor pool, jacuzzi, wet and hot saunas were lovely. The food at the different restaurants was good, too, especially the peri peri chicken at Contrata. Our room included breakfast, and it was exceptional each morning. They were helpful in organizing activities and making sure we had transportation to the Lisbon airport.

I really need to start with the staff, they are the soul of the Hotel. Everyone was very friendly and ready to help. The room was very clean and comfortable with a view over the garden and the ocean. The Hotel offers a variety of menus to choose from 4 different in house restaurants which made a great ambience in the evening, almost as if you were on a ship. Breakfast was excellent, with very good quality and variety. Indoor Spa was perfect to relax close to 20h. Outdoor pool had great temperature. We thank the amazing staff for everything, a special thank you to Conceição from one of the restaurants for the great service provided.

We spent a few unforgettable days here and left with only the warmest impressions! The hotel perfectly combines comfort, a convenient location, and heartfelt service. The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. Housekeeping was done daily, and everything was always spotless. A special thanks to the staff — attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist. The breakfasts deserve particular praise: diverse, fresh, and absolutely delicious! This place exceeded all our expectations, and we would happily return again!

The hotel is located in a large golf resort, right at the ocean (although without direct access to the beach). We liked the surrounding nature and the sights, including nice area for walks and availability of e-bikes to rent. Location was convenient for visiting Obidos and Peniche. Numerous tasty options for everybody at breakfasts, pool bar with great staff, tasty drinks and food. Room service was perfect and had great timing :) We attended a fado dinner with live music and wine tasting. Large outdoor pool with many sun chairs (some of them conveniently placed further away from the pool, for more relaxation). We had very good massages at the hotel spa.

Lovely ocean view. Hotel is situated right next to the beach. Landscaping very nice and adds to the view. Breakfast fairly typical. Dinner at hotel restaurant was expensive but good... Great service. Very convenient location to the golf course Praia del Rey.

A two star hotel that should really rate more! The location is, at first glance, a little disconcerting being between turnip fields and industrial properties on the outskirts of town but don't let this put you off. The hotel and facilities are contained within tree lined walls and you don't really notice the surroundings. We arrived on ebikes and we're allowed to park and charge them overnight in the hotel's secure garage at no extra cost. Staff were really friendly and helpful at all times. Rooms were modern, large and clean with big beds, bath and shower and air con. There's also a nice comfortable area downstairs with sofas, TV and pool table where you can relax and have a drink from the bar. Breakfast was very good, cheap and plentiful. There are some good restaurants 10 minutes walk down the road (the hotel doesn't do evening meals).

I stayed at this hotel for one night and was thoroughly impressed. The staff were incredibly kind and explained everything in English, making my stay smooth and comfortable. The room was almost spotless, with everything I needed for a short stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious and offered a wide variety of choices to suit all tastes. I also enjoyed a beautiful view from my window, which added to the overall charm of the stay. The location is very convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. One thing that really stood out was the exceptional customer service. I accidentally left two jackets in the closet when I checked out. Since I couldn’t return to pick them up, the staff kindly arranged for delivery to my address in Barcelona. This level of care and professionalism exceeded all my expectations and made a lasting impression. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for great service, comfort, and convenience!

This wasn’t our first time here, and once again we really enjoyed our stay. We were allocated a studio apartment outside the main building this time with its own kitchen which proved really handy. It was clean, quiet and really comfortable. Breakfast was very good. We asked reception to book us a surfing lesson and the school they contacted was great, just walking distance from the hotel. There was nothing we didn’t like and think it’s amazing value for money. The location is great for local beaches and towns.

Overall enjoyable 8 nights. Good location for the beach & surfing albeit 20 min walk to Peniche restaurants. Helpful & friendly staff with a shout out to Melissa who was extremely helpful with advice on things to do (other than surfing). Spacious, clean & comfy room & beds. Good breakfast though needs an extra coffee machine in busy times. Some areas need some TLC with some broken equipment in the gym & the tennis court needs resurfacing. The pools were nice although the outside one has lots of small of mosaic tiles missing one the base. Very relaxed and extremely clean hotel.

Great hotel, very close to the beach and the city center. The parking area is large, a lot of parking spaces, and also places to charge electric cars. Staff are extremely friendly, always concerned about their clients and making sure they are having a perfect experience and that everything is perfect. The hotel is spacious, clean, great views, great breakfast, meals and bar, and good pool area. The room was also spacious, comfy and clean.

One of the nicest hotels we stayed at on our tour of Portugal. Huge bedrooms, beautifully appointed, nice terrace, and great bathrooms, with two sinks. It’s a bit of a walk into town, so ended up in the bar and restaurant both nights on the top floor, which is really comfortable, and has very tasty food. The head waiter is excellent. We were only going to stay one night, then move up to Nazaré, but enjoyed it so much we stayed for a second night.

Good breakfast (amazing eggs and fruit, pastries were a bit too dry, large, clean, bight comfortable rooms. Nice swimming pool and mini spa. Staff was friendly and efficient.

As someone visiting from Norway, I have to say Royal Obidos Spa & Golf Resort really feels like it's out in the middle of nowhere. If you're planning to stay here, I’d definitely recommend having a car – it’s not a place you just walk around from. That said, the hotel is beautifully located on a hill with great views of the ocean and the nearby golf course. There's free indoor parking. We stayed in room 308, which was very spacious. It had a balcony, though it faced the back of the hotel, not the sea or golf course. The bed was huge (around 2 meters wide!), and the bathroom had a large tub positioned in front of a window. The room was tidy and comfortable. Breakfast was okay – decent selection of hot and cold dishes, though I wouldn’t say it matched the expectations of a five-star hotel. What really stood out, though, was the friendly breakfast staff. They were welcoming and made sure everything ran smoothly. The biggest positive surprise was dinner. Honestly, it was excellent – beautifully presented and full of flavour. The staff in the restaurant were fantastic: professional, warm, and spoke great English. Big thumbs up to the whole restaurant team! If you're coming expecting a luxurious five-star resort, you might be a bit disappointed. Wonderful and beautiful appartments hotel! The apartment consists of two separate units — one is a full apartment with a kitchen, spacious shower, and living room, and the other is a bedroom with its own kitchen and bathroom. Each room has a balcony, and there’s complete privacy between them. The appartments are very spacious, also the bathrooms. Everything is very clean and well equipped. We also cooked dinner in the appartment and it was great! The sea view is absolutely stunning, and all the hotel’s facilities are just perfect — the pool, yoga classes, padel courts, and the open green spaces that make you feel so calm. Breakfast was excellent, varied, and served overlooking the beautiful golf course. The hotel’s location is great, and we truly enjoyed every moment. Amazing value for money — highly recommended The children wanted to stay there for the whole trip!

The hotel branding has changed which was unknown to me. My studio number was 401B. The bedroom is well equipped, comfortable, quiet and clean. The balcony is well equipped and the ocean view is great. The AIRCON was working well. Free underground parking. The room had no shower but a bathtub which access or exit was difficult and could be dangerous (when wet and slippery) for kids or person with disabilities. There is a need for repair and painting of the bathtub casing. The breakfast served at the golf clubhouse (5min walk) was great. I have enjoyed my stay and will certainly come back again.

Excellent staff and an extremely clean property. I have celiac disease, and the staff were remarkably considerate, attentive and knowledgeable. They showed great care in ensuring all the necessary safety measures were followed, which made me feel exceptionally comfortable and safe. I highly recommend this hotel as the staff are truly exceptional: welcoming, kind and approachable!

We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel boasts a great location, making it easy to explore the area. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. There was also a decent selection of snacks and meals available throughout the day at the bar and restaurant. The facilities were impressive, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the apartment room was spacious and well-designed.

Our third time staying here, and as always the owners were welcoming, breakfast is great, the room quiet and comfortable with a good shower and the location is perfect for walking to the beach area. The restaurant at the hotel is excellent, one of the best for traditional Portugese cuisine in the area.

Our room/apartment was very spacious, well equipped, sparkling clean, one of the best stays in Portugal. Couple of minutes drive from the beach, or a few more minutes walking distance. Perfect for our short stay. Also, breakfast at the adjacent restaurant was quick and a great value.

The personnel and hotel/apartment was amazing. We were travelling with our one year old daughter which is not always easy and they have been very accommodating to us. The breakfast was amazing, so are the restaurant and adjoining cafeteria.
