Second time at Whitemoss Lodges, we booked the pod with hottub. Very peaceful setting looking at the sheep in the field. Very private and relaxing. Room lovely and clean :) we got a takeaway from a local place, the pod has a few menus. The breakfast delivered to your pod in the morning is a lovely touch. You fill in the form and the time you wish for it to come the night before and post it. We will definately be back. Hidden gem x

The apartment was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Beds very comfy, and the steam room and jacuzzi bath was a hit also. Lovely place to stay.

We stayed for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The apartment was spotlessly clean, very modern, and tastefully decorated, with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was perfect—right in the center, close to everything. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to cook meals if you wanted to, and everything was in pristine condition. The TV with Netflix was a nice bonus for unwinding in the evenings. The rainfall shower was amazing, and we especially loved the spa room—such a relaxing extra that made the stay feel even more special. Honestly, we couldn't fault a thing. It felt like a home away from home, and we'd absolutely stay here again.

The apartment is even more spacious and attractive than its photos. Not only is it very clean and comfortable, it is beautifully appointed throughout. The linens are of high quality. The kitchen and baths have absolutely everything we could have needed. The location was quite convenient for us, with restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. Sleeping was quiet and peaceful, and our host was attentive and charming. This was an A+ experience.

I’m really fussy but I can’t explain how gorgeous this apartment is. I seriously can’t fault anything. we were visiting Perth for a close relatives funeral so I was really hoping we’d feel safe and comfortable in the property and it didn’t let me down. Lawrence was so attentive. He checked to see we were in ok. When we told him we were running much later than expected due to an awful drive from London he put the heating on for us which was a nice touch. The following morning he checked to see we were alright as well. The property is 3min walk from the rail station and right next to the bus station. Once inside I was hit by a apartment that was pristine, it was so clean and it smelt great. Everything is like new. The beds are really comfortable, the bathrooms are top notch (big bath, steam room and rainforest shower is incredible), there’s loads of towels, kitchen has everything you need (think you’re just missing a scissors Lawrence 😀) and the sofas are sink in soft. Plus there is a tv in every bedroom too, bonus! The apartment is kitted out with the best tech. We didn’t need a key either, the front door has a key code so no fussing or worrying about how you’ll get in. Lawrence sends you a text the day you arrive with directions and all the details you need. We also felt really safe. Parking was free and my car was absolutely fine for 2 nights. I can’t express how this apartment made a really sad weekend bearable. Thanks again Lawrence ⭐️ sensational flat!

the apartment itself is immaculately presented with great attention to detail. it also has a very homely cosy feel. fully equipped kitchen, 2 amazing bathrooms, the shower/sauna room especially! comfortable beds, luxurious throws, eletronic blinds, coffee maker, boiling water function on tap instead of faffing with a kettle, this little gem has it all! love the keyless entry too

Wow, what can I say. We arrived on a wet Sunday afternoon, parked in one of their allocated parking spots and was hiding out in the car until the rain stopped. David kindly came to greet us with an umbrella and he marked the start of an amazing stay. He showed us up to our room taking some of our bags for us and we did not expect what greated us. We was in the room at the very top of the house and what a home from home this was. The room was clean, tidy and very welcoming with fresh coffee, tea pot, chocolates, biscuits and scones with jam and cream available upon our arrival. David talked us through the area and recommended places to eat as we were unaware that on a Sunday, a lot of the restaurants in Perth are closed. We went for a stroll through the gardens within easy walk of the property on our way to the indian restaurant. The Townhouse is a short walk from the town centre and is a little gem. The room had a large bed which was very comfortable and was extremley quiet, we didn't hear anyone else during our stay. Breakfast is amazing with David being the cook and a very good one. If you are lucky enough to find a vacancy in this Bed and Breakfast I would definitely recommend visiting. We will definitely be recommending it and if we are passing through the area in the future will definitely try to incorporate a stay into our travels. One not to be missed. Thank you David for you amazing hospitality.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, David was outstanding! His hospitality was exceptional. The room was amazing. It had so much quality and interest but also felt extremely comfortable, clean and cosy. The additions like the fresh scones, quality selection of tea and coffee and toiletry products were all lush. Breakfast was amazing. David's skills in the kitchen are great! We enjoyed a full "scottish" breakfast with all the trimmings. The fresh, warm croissants and fruit with honey were a real bonus. Exceptional top marks all round. We would love to revisit David and Laurent. Should we ever be passing through Perth again this will be our number choice of places to stay.

David was a wonderful host and made you feel really welcome from the moment you arrived. The property is beautiful and in a really stunning location. Whilst it's central, it's also really quiet - we had a lovely walk across the park to the gardens. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was furnished to a high standard and spotless - loads of extra touches, individual chocolates, welcome scones/jam, shortbread biscuits, wide selection of teas, fresh milk and posh coffee, fluffy bathrobes. Breakfast was amazing too - local produce for the cooked breakfast with loads of choise, as well as fresh fruit, juices, and warm croissants. Really homely and worth every penny! Forget the dull hotel chains - these guys go the extra mile and really care about their guests and the service they provide.

Exquisite decor and artefacts made the visit feel luxurious yet comfortable. David and his husband are perfect hosts. Their warmth and welcoming nature made us feel that we were staying with old friends. The location is perfect for a morning walk through the lovely park opposite as well as being close to the restaurants. Breakfast was fabulous too with David starting our meal off with a beautifully home made strawberry and mint palette freshener. Having the ability to park right outside the back of the building was perfect too. I can’t wait to return to this stunning, welcoming, luxurious townhouse.

By far the best boutique B&B we have stayed in …anywhere! The welcome ,the attention to detail everywhere and period furniture was a complete game changer for us. On arrival we were given a free upgrade to a huge room with a luxurious bathroom with bath and walk in shower…and absolute delight. Tea and coffee selections were the best I’ve come across…cafetière coffee and a fine selection of teas in a presentation box ! Lastly …breakfast was another highlight…relaxed,efficient very very tasty and everything you’d want for a great start to the day. Thank you David ..what a fantastic experience at your boutique B&B….sadly 5 stars was not enough in our view for a totally relaxing perfect stay . We will be back ..definitely!

Perfect stay with wonderful staff and delicious food. This wee hidden gem far exceeded our expectations. A fabulous bar, and cosy dining area, along with a great beer garden. We ordered some food which was delicious, along with two lovingly made cocktails. A very comfy nights sleep, and a delicious breakfast to follow! The service was perfect, staff all so friendly and efficient, they never stopped. We will be back.

Exceedingly warm welcome to an Inn with plenty of kerb appeal and character. Staff were very friendly, room was lovely, warm, clean and with plenty of tea/coffee etc. Very comfortable bed. Spotless en suite shower room with high quality toiletries. We both had two evening meals and two breakfasts during our stay and the food was excellent. Soups were delicious as were the mains. Scrambled eggs in the morning were top notch. Very accommodating about portion size for loss of appetite but beautifully presented which encouraged eating. Very dog friendly and all the dogs in and out of the busy bar area were incredibly well behaved. Locals were nice and chatty which makes a big difference to guests. Ideally situated for our trip. Free parking. Wonderful building which has been very sympathetically restored keeping the character. Definitely recommend a stay at Smiddy Haugh and we are hoping to be back.

What a lovely warm welcome. Very dog friendly. Lovely filling breakfast. Lovely evening meals. The service was exceptional. Super buzz in the bar. Jasper the Owner’s Black Labrador is a great wee welcoming addition. Nice beer garden for those long summer evenings. Parking at the rear for cars. The room was very spacious and clean. Very comfortable bed with really nice bedding. The en-suite was spotless and big for an en-suite. The owners are very knowledgeable about the locality and nearby places to visit. The village is handy for visiting Glasgow, Perth, Dundee, Stirling and Fife. Lots to see and do in the area. We’ll be staying again.

A very warm welcome from the owners, Nikky and Richard. Our room was comfortable and spacious with a private bathroom, plus great facilities such as free wifi and Sky, (and free Sky movies). A spacious, beer garden to the rear with secure off street parking. Great choice of locally produced beers and spirits available and exceptional food on offer. Both the meals we had in the bar and our breakfasts were very high quality, again using locally produced ingredients. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners during our stay and we have enjoyed a very relaxed and comfortable couple of nights here. This is a dog friendly hotel which is spotlessly clean. We will definitely be visiting again. We cannot recommend The Smiddy Haugh enough!

From the moment on arrival we were met with smiles and friendliness by (Laura I think that was the woman's name) and both Nicky and Richard made our stay so welcoming. Especially the warm welcome from Jasper the dog. This place is dog friendly but your never bothered by them unless you like too clap them, the locals we met were extremely friendly and happy to chat with you. The owners and staff could not do anything more for you, they went out their way to make your feel like one of the family. We had dinner there, and it was so fresh and tasty (loved the chicken pakora) and the sea bass and steak was cooked to perfection. Breakfast was also good, a selection of cereals, yogurts and fruit to start, then your cooked breakfast was ample and was more than enough to keep you going for the day. We came in as guests and left as friends, we'll be back again to stay and to come for lunch. Thank you all so much for a lovely stay and making us welcome - Mandy and Mike x

Wonderful, peaceful guesthouse with lovely, friendly female owner and staff. Were made to feel very welcome. A large house in a quiet street with a busy road. 10 minute walk to a Co-Op supermarket that's open until late. Slightly steep stairs to rooms. Lovely double en-suite room for 2. Large comfy double bed with bed sheets, thick duvet and lots of pillows. Comfy chair on each side of double bed. Carpeted room. En-suite large bathroom with toilet, sink, rubbish bin, hand soap on sink. free bath and hand towels, hair drier in room. Table in room with free tea/coffee, milk and sugar sashays, plus free bottles of water and biscuits. Good speed free WiFi in room. Full Scottish breakfast or continental breakfast included in room price. Key to enter house and room. On-street parking available. 8-10 minute drive to Perth centre. Very comfy room, very relaxing stay. Would stay again. Very helpful and friendly staff. Amazing breakfast, lots of choices, linin napkins, silverware.

I arrived later than anticipated for my one night stay in a large single room and was met intially by Glenda who was very friendly and confirmed that I could leave my car where I'd parked it at the front of the property. I was then given the key to my room which was very clean and more than adequately sized for one person with all the amenities advertized and a very nice ensuite shower room. I decided to go straight out for the pint I felt I'd earnt and the short walk to the pub took me along a delightful bridge spanning the beautiful (even in the rain!) River Tay. I went back to my room for an early night and made use of the coffee making facilities before retiring for a decent night's kip in a comfy bed. The following morning I went down for the breakfast included in the price and was met by a most attentive Rob who pointed me in the direction of the wonderful buffet before taking my order for a full Scottish. The buffet really was excellent but was somehow bettered by the main course which, in my opinion, was flawless. Rob was always on hand to attend to customers' requests despite clearly being very busy while Glenda worked hard to keep the food coming! A great combination. The fact that such a lovely breakfast was included in the already competitive price was a great bonus. I then set off on the next part of my journey well rested and very well fed!

Love a guest house especially ones ran by the actual owners , this one did not disappoint. The guest house itself was lovely, very clean, great little breakfast room and the breakfast was delicious! The owners were very attentive and very welcoming, the facilities were perfect and our room had everything you needed including tea and coffee making facilities, towels and a hairdryer. I would definitely return and definitely recommend.

The location for me was perfect, not to far from where I needed to be and walking distance into town. The staff were very welcoming and freandly, my room was perfect, lovely shower and a great bed, I had a fantastic night's sleep in a lovely warm room, Breakfast was fantastic, full Scottish breakfast both day's and the coffee was really nice as well, fantastic stay, in fact I'm going back next week.

Quiet location yet not far from town. Room spacious, beautifully decorated. Host helpful. Bed very comfy, pillows towels all good. Tea/coffee facilities. Just down the hill, 5 minutes walk across the road from the property is a lovely I Dian restaurant. The food was delicious, and the staff lovely.

We received a warm welcome upon arrival and were given a quick and helpful tour of the room which had everything we needed. It was cozy and quiet, it came with a kettle and a quick breakfast of porridge, otherwise we were recommended a place for breakfast nearby and a selection of restaurants in town. We came by public transport, the bus stop is a short walk from the Guest house.

Lovely house about a 15 minute walk to the centre of perth Room was small,but had everything you needed,including an ensuite..bed was very comfy Great shower and tray of tea/coffee/biscuit They forgot the porridge pot,but not a big eater in the morning and was going for breakfast anyway The biscoff biscuit however,was delicious Only met the man on arrival,but he was nice and friendly

Paul, the person in charge, was super friendly! The rooms are very big, comfrotable and very clean. The bathroom was spotless. There was coffee/tea, biscuits and porridge in the room, which was great to have a quick breakfast. And the wifi worked perfectly.

Wonderful stay at Sunbank House Metro Hotel. It’s located around 10 minute walk from the city centre, which is great to enjoy both a bit of quiet, but be close to the activity. We arrived in the evening and were greeted by the owner, who was very welcoming and kind, explained all the details to us and directed to our room. The room was very cosy, spacious and with a huge bed - perfect, as I like to have space during the night. We had to pre-order our breakfast selections in the evening, and had quite a lengthy menu to choose from - porridge, cereals, toasts etc to start, as well as full Scottish Breakfast or poached eggs with salmon, kippers and other options. After a very good night’s sleep, we headed down to breakfast and felt very cared for - all the food was delicious and homemade, and we took nearly a full hour to slowly work our way through all the food. We had to leave shortly after to continue our trip, and the checkout was very easy. Overall, a wonderful stay, a very lovely welcome, and we enjoyed having a chat with the owner over breakfast too :) Thank you!

Absolutely loved it. Shame it was only an overnight stay. Room spacious and clean. Old victorian style home with a modern twist. Lovely decor, even asked where they'd got the wallpaper from as its exactly the style we're looking for. Trendy retro lighting in our room. Modern bathroom, and warm. Comfy beds. Breakfast was lovely, put in your request the night before. I had salmon and scrambled eggs, which was plentiful, and extra toast. All this and only a 5-10 min walk into the town. Receptionist very friendly and helpful.

Sunbank House is easily walkable to downtown Perth, and I feel preferable to staying downtown. There is even a quiet walk over a railway bridge (with safe pedestrian walkway). Even though located on a main road, our front facing room was eminently quiet, clean and spacious. Unable to decide on any downtown restaurants, had lunch at a pub recommended by our host, we opted for dinner at Sunbank, and the three of us were all impressed by the quality and modest cost of our meals. We can honestly recommend Sunbank House.

I stayed in a single room with an external shared bathroom and was pleasantly surprised at how spacious and comfortable the room was. The bathroom was large and clean, and honestly felt like I had my own bathroom because it must not be shared by many rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great. Surprisingly for a hotel, the coffee was very good! There was ample parking right outside and the hotel was very easy to find

This is a lovely and comfortable home within walking distance of Perth. There’s a comfortable sitting room a large dining room for morning breakfast and the rooms were clean and quiet. Graham was the young man managing the property while I was staying and he was wonderful to talk to and most helpful with anything I needed. The breakfasts were delicious and had a huge array of options. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful quiet location, with a view to die for from both the restaurant and our room! We had our evening meal in the Cairns bar area and it was lovely. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was buffet style. We had an excellent choice of delicious food, but unfortunately the cooked breakfast wasn't hot, which was disappointing. Upon reading the menu, we noted that a hot breakfast could be ordered from the waiter, but not from our waiter who directed us to the buffet!

The staff were amazing. The rooms were lovely. We had a pet friendly room in the outer building and plenty of space. The amenities in the room were great including lovely toiletries and teas/coffees/caramel wafers. Even on the day I was unwell and shut myself up in the room with the do not disturb sign up, the housekeeping staff delivered a bag with extra consumables (loo roll, tea bags, etc) for me to find when I opened the door later in the day, which I thought was really lovely. The food in the restaurant was also very tasty for both breakfast and dinner. Location was quiet and peaceful. The fire in the bar was great to sit next to after a day being out and about and enjoy a quiet drink.

Open fire, comfy seats and couches, friendly and helpful staff. One of the bar restaurants was closed which was a shame, but ate in the bar and had dinner on the 2nd night in the 2 rosette restaurant, both excellent. Sri Lankan curry would feed 2. Had an estate room which overlooked the golf course, more than big enough. Great shower. Breakfast excellent too. A real find and would definitely go back.

Location is very beautiful and quiet. The house itself is impressive with a very nice classic lounge with bar and access to the golf bar and restaurant. Room is spacious and well presented. Good bathroom. Personnel very friendly and professional. Dinner very good and breakfast likewise. Nice restaurant. Parking very close to the entrance.

A lovely stay from start to finish. The room was spacious and comfortable looking over the 18th green. There isn’t air conditioning but there was a fan provided which helped keep the temperature down. The staff were excellent and I would like to praise Charlie who went and bought shower caps for me as I hadn’t packed ones, it was just so kind of her to do this. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful from reception to the bars and restaurants. The food in The Cairns was good and our steaks were cooked to perfection. Breakfast was nice, not a vast selection but everything was nicely cooked and options to order were available. Our visit was so enjoyable and will definitely be returning, hopefully fit in a round of golf next time.

I booked this hotel because it is one hour drive from Braemer highland game and it truly impressed me and exceeded my expectations in every way! The river view is stunning, and the garden is a tranquil oasis. Our English-style room is spacious, elegant, and well-equipped, with a super-comfortable bed. The breakfast is fantastic, served in a beautifully decorated dining room with river view. The staff are great, friendly and attentive. Given the quality and amenities, the price is very reasonable – great value for the experience. Perfect for a relaxing getaway or romantic escape. Highly recommended for its beautiful views, lovely garden, elegant accommodations, and delicious breakfast.

A beautiful hotel in a stunning and peaceful estate. All staff were so friendly and polite and nothing was too much trouble for them. We stayed in one of the sportsman’s rooms and it was perfect for us - very cosy, comfortable and clean. Our stay was as a gift for my husband as we were celebrating his 60th birthday and it couldn’t have been more special. Upon booking we were invited to book a table in the dining room which I did. The meal was exquisite - absolutely delicious. And we were very kindly presented with a complimentary glass of champagne and some beautiful hand made chocolates to mark our celebration. In the morning there was a wide selection of food options for breakfast from porridge and a full Scottish to a continental - just as delicious as the evening meal. I really cannot recommend this place enough for a quiet getaway. It’s just perfect!

We stayed here for 6 nights in a very comfortable Scottish country house with log fires in lounge and bar. Bedroom was small but had a double aspect overlooking the river and side of the garden. Tea and coffee facilities provided in room and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was included and various choice of cooked breakfast which was served by waiter. We had evening dinner twice during our stay which was a bit expensive at £65 per head but this was for 3 courses plus coffee/tea. All the food was superb. We would definitely stay here again- it was lovely to have old fashioned waiter service and all the staff were very friendly and helpful

Comfortable clean bedroom on the ground floor of the annex with views of the river and a door out to a small terrace. Fridge in the room which was a nice touch. Shower room was a decent size and the shower was powerful, towels were large and soft plus flannels also provided, toiletries were good quality. Dinner is set at £65 per head for 4 courses and the food was of a high quality. Plenty of choice for breakfast and regularly replenished. Staff were very polite, the main building and the surroundings are impressive and the public areas clean.

The location is superb, overlooking the river Tay. With beautiful gardens and mature trees scattered around. The staff are very good, friendly and welcoming. Breakfast excellent and the evening meal was really nice but a bit pricey for us. Our room was in the Riverside building, which is a short walk from the main hotel. We were on the first floor with a balcony and river view. It was amazing. The room was a little dated, but we had everything that we need and reasonably spacious.

Although the exterior of the Hotel is a little off putting the inside was lovely. There was ample car parking just across the road in the Hotel car park. A typical Scottish Hotel, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. We stayed in Room 18. It had a good clean ensuite bathroom with a shower in the bath. The toilet suffered a wee issue with the flush (same problem as we have with our own 1 at home) but wasn't a problem for us as we knew how to sort it. The sink could do with levelling off as items didn't sit on it very well but worked well and was functional. The shower water pressure was fabulous. One of the best showers we have ever had. The bed was very comfortable. The room had all the facilities you usually get, tea and coffee, tv ,wardrobe , chair ect and all worked well. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area. We highly recommend the restaurant and having breakfast the food was exceptional. There is a lovely lounge area with a wood burned for guests to sit and relax.

Everything! The room was big, clean and beautifully decorated. There were tea and coffee facilities. The area of peaceful with plenty parking. We didn’t have cooked breakfast (our choice) but what we had was perfect with a good choice of cereal and yoghurts. The hotel itself outside was welcoming and very attractive. It’s only a short drive from M90. A lovely lady who checked us in and a canny lady at breakfast. (sorry didn’t get names). We stayed in Deluxe room number 4 which was the chalet at the end on the row where you can park outside your door like a USA motel although there is a spacious car park also.

Would highly recommend the Bein Inn, the staff were amazing, very helpful, friendly and well organised. check in was easy and quick. Entrance was well decorated, clean and welcoming. Exceeded my expectations for what we paid and I was extremely impressed with the food we had in the restaurant, well priced high quality amazing tasty food. I can’t recommend a stay here enough!

Room was very clean and spacious. It was very relaxing and the bed was very comfortable. Cooked breakfast was very nice and everything you needed to set you up for the day. Dinner was lovely, enjoyed everything we had. The menu had a good selection to choose from. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The best thing about this hotel is the staff closely followed by super clean rooms and fabulous fresh breakfast . The lady on reception was very helpful and the breakfast staff were attentive ,checking all the food was topped up and tables were cleared . The beds were comfortable , the shower was powerful and we slept very well with no noise outside.Could not rate this hotel any higher . Thoroughly enjoyable stay at a very reasonable price . Thank you .

Busing Perth and booked in here, not in the centre of town but an easy drive into the centre. Plenty of parking. Friendly welcome at reception, well worth were a little early, room not ready, invited to help ourself to coffee while we waited. Lovely big room, clean and tidy, well appointed with plenty of towels. As a Platinum member warmly welcomed and offered a drink or points, chose the drinks. We spent the afternoon and evening in Perth. On our return we decided to avail ourselves of the drinks voucher. Voucher is confusing, 2 people booked into the room, but the voucher is only for one drink, a bit mean, half a drink each??????????? Very comfortable bed, great sleep and a very good shower. Breakfast was good, although the breakfast bar is a bit small, so it was a bit of a scrum getting to the food, also one toaster for a hotel this size, queues were long here. This a dog friendly hotel, must say I have never seen so many dogs staying at one time. Overall great stay, will use again.

Our first time staying at a Holiday Inn. Great place to stay, from entering the building we had nothing but friendly staff. The room was big, the bed was huge but best of all spotlessly clean. We had a fan in the room along with all the other essentials like kettle, coffee, tea, milk, iron and ironing board. Asked for extra pillow and no problem at all. The shower was great and again spotlessly clean bathroom. Good tv so no complaints. Down stairs in reception and dining area had the best air con ever! Fantastic breakfast the full English breakfast or cereal. Bar staff lovely for a wee evening drink. Enjoyed our two night stay.

This is our third time staying at this hotel. Our aim for this weekend was to do the Parkrun and car shopping. So in the perfect location to do both. The room rate includes wifi and breakfast. Plus there is free parking. The hotel does serve meals for example pizza, chips etc. Plus it has a bar. Check out is 11am. There is also a Green King next door. In the room is a fan, tea/coffee, isb ports, iron and iron board The staff are all friendly and helpful. If you're here to do the Parkrun you can walk it or take the car. If you do take the car the parking costs £1. This is a nice flat run. If your here for car shopping then your locates right on the motormile where all the car show rooms are.

Excellent location for our needs. Clean, quiet and warm. Staff welcoming and friendly. In particular John who checked us in, getting a warm, helpful welcome, sets the tone for the whole stay. Also, Emma who was friendly and helpful. Location maybe good, room maybe nice, but it is the staff that make the difference. 5 stars for the staff, thank you.
