A experiência de ficar hospedado na Locanda della Mimosa é inesquecível. O lugar é muito confortável, belíssimo, com tudo adequado, mas sem luxo ostensivo. O restaurante é espetacular e não cobra preços abusivos. Serve-se um delicioso chá da tarde gratuitamente, espumante de qualidade no café da manhã e se oferece meia pensão de segunda a quinta. As jacuzzi disponíveis na área da piscina, com água morna e limpíssima, completam o cenário. Mas nada supera a gentileza e plena capacitação de toda a equipe: do manobrista que leva e busca seu carro a cada atendente de recepção, incluindo garçons e equipe que atende às áreas comuns de piscina e de café da manhã. Enfim, em dias em que a excelência do serviço é raríssima, desfrutar de hospedagem assim é um investimento de pleno retorno.

A hospedagem em geral ficou um pouco abaixo das expectativas. Entendo que a proposta do local seja de uma hospedagem de alto padrão, mas deixa a desejar em alguns aspectos. O atendimento de todos os funcionários foi muito simpático, educado e cordial. É o ponto alto da hospedagem. Cafe da manhã e chá da tarde são satisfatórios. Produtos de qualidade, embora nem sempre conservados na temperatura adequada. Foi oferecudo um degustacao de vinhos e outra de espemantes, que foi uma experiência interessante para conhecer a cave da pousada. Outros critérios merecem atenção: quarto barulhento, dava para ouvir as conversas do quarto ao lado, móveis sendo movidos, etc e muito barulho da rodovia. Regulagem do jato do chuveiro muito ruim. Vazamento/infiltração nas instalações do sanitário. As capas de travesseiros, almofadas e pezeira decorativas da cama com aspecto ruim e manchadas, dando a impressão de sujo. Não tem smart TV, o que limita a TV a poucos canais de filmes dublados. Na parte externa somente utilizamos a jacuzzi, nos quais há poucos jatos em funcionamento. Parece mais uma banheira que uma hidromassagem. O ponto mais negativo da pousada é o restaurante. Muito over priced. A comida é ok, nada além. Mas cobram mais caro que restaurantes renomandos em grandes capitais como Rio e São Paulo. Pedi um osso buco que não tinha nem tutano de tão pequeno. E o angus veio com o ponto errado. Foi trocado, mas uma carne de 200 reais não pode ser servida no ponto errado.

I ate in the restaurant many years ago, and I knew that it was worthy to go back and enjoy the hotel. The staff time is very friendly and helpful. I stayed three days in a small room, however, as I booked for two more days, and I envied my sister and her husband to join me, so I got the large rooms for both of us. I recommend the rooms facing the garden. They are spacious, more complete, and we enjoyed! Food is very good, as well as the breakfast and afternoon tea. I met the lady who owns the hotel and we chatted in a very friend atmosphere.

We had originally booked to stay at the sister property Locanda Bela Vista. however they messaged a few days before our stay to say they had a birthday party on the night we had booked and it was likely to be noisy so would we accept an upgrade to the Locanda della Mimosa - obviously we said yes. I think this indicates that their service level is high. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, comfortable and had everything required. The pool was long enough to swim which is always a plus. Thank you very much for a very enjoyable (if short) stay.

Localização perfeita para conhecer os pontos históricos a pé. A disponibilidade de vaga para veículos facilita, porque é difícil estacionar na cidade. O café da manhã é farto e variado. O quarto família é espaçoso, limpo, arejado e confortável, cabem 4 pessoas. A área social é uma graça. Tem sala com lareira e outra com mesa de sinuca e jogos de tabuleiro. A pousada ainda dispõe de galão de água e um bom cafezinho durante o dia.

A pousada é bem localizada. O atendimento é excelente. Dispor de estacionamento é um diferencial. O quarto que fiquei um pouco pequeno. Pelo valor cobrado poderia ter ar-condicionado no quarto.

Ótima estadia. Funcionários muito atenciosos e solícitos. Estrutura para família (sala de tv, sala de jogos, bicicleta free) excelentes

Cushion and bed very comfortable. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Restaurant very nice and food is delicious. Nature well cared. The place is clean and tidy. Place is located between Itaipava and Petrópolis. They accept small pets and our pet loved to stay there with us.

The grounds are gorgeous! Excellent soaking tub. The restaurant for both dinner and breakfast were top notch!

Fantastic forest setting, with amazing outdoor rooms, offering gaming rooms, sauna, gym, trails, chapel, swimming pool and breathtaking views. Rooms with fireplace, jacuzzi, varanda facing the forests, and mountain views all-around. Great restaurant and staff, who will do whatever it takes to make you feel welcome.

Situated high up in the mountainsides of teresopolis this hotel offers an outstanding experience. With individual chalets, sauna, jacuzzi, swimming pool, log fires along with an endless list list of extras all inclusive in the price this 5 star hotel needs to be see to be believed. With very affordable rates this has to be recommended to all. My sister and I enjoyed the ambiance for two nights and wished we had stayed longer. The food is excellent and plentiful and the staff so accommodating. Many of the staff understand English and the manager speaks perfect English. This hotel is worth a detour from your itinerary. Estadia de 1 dia pra conhecer o castelo de Itaipava! Ficamos no quarto com hidromassagem e foi maravilhoso! A decoracao em estilo medieval tem um charme especial. O quarto confortável, piscina semi aquecida no terraço e jacuzzi na área externa e o café da manhã bem servido, deixaram nossa estadia mais gostosa. Vale muito a pena se hospedar neste castelo!

Sempre tive vontade de me hospedar, mas pelas avaliações negativas que o hotel recebe (injustamente na minha opinião) estava insegura, pois sou autista e tenho várias limitações, principalmente quanto à alimentação, a ruídos e odores. Confesso que pela estrutura e pelos preços muito superiores praticados na região, não tinha grandes expectativas. Mas fui surpreendida positivamente. Podem ir sem medo! Os funcionários são educados e solícitos, os quartos em que eu e minha família nos hospedamos são amplos, confortáveis e extremamente limpos. O hotel tem uma enorme e bem cuidada área verde, que conta com redário, lago e playground. E ainda é per friendly. O restaurante Taberna do Castelo foi uma agradável surpresa a parte: servem um café da manhã bem gostoso e muito variado e os pratos do almoço e jantar tem um excelente preço e também é muito saboroso e bem servido. Com certeza voltarei outras vezes…

We feel alike staying in between amazing nature and historical castle. Also thanks for Juliana being such friendly and super nice. The pousada is comfortable, well decorated, lovely rooms and lovely comfortable public areas. Has a wonderful pool & jacuzzi which we used everyday, with beautiful outlook of the gardens. The food was delicious. Plenty of parking and very good security. Very friendly and attentive staff.

Great little retreat from the city. The staff was wonderful, super attentive, and willing to help with anything that we needed. The property and room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious especially the Petropolis toast and the restaurant also had a great dinner served by their in-house chef.

Charming little bed and breakfast just a short drive from Itaipava's commercial center. Our room was comfortable with a very spacious bathroom. The breakfast had many options. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

This is exactly the kind of place you go to to disconnect from the stress of the cities. Gorgeous pool with bar to enjoy a few drinks while you soak in the sun. Delightful restaurant area with very nice menu. Terrific Spa with large jacuzzi and fabulous rooms that pretty guarantee you will wake up in the morning feeling reenergized!!

Had a wonderful stay at Quinta da Paz resort. The hotel is in the hills of the Itaipava area of Petropolis and while close to the center also feels like a nice retreat. Quinta da Paz is truly a resort, on a large beautiful piece of property with a gorgeous pool. There is even a small nature hike on the resort. The trip was truly a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of Rio de Janeiro. The restaurant serves delicious, fresh food and some of the ingredients are from their garden. The waiters were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Finally the hotel arranged private transportation for us to and from Rio de Janeiro. Renan who works at the hotel was our driver and he was extremely friendly and helpful, even guiding us through stops along the way for so we could see the sites of Petropolis. He really did a great job of making our trip to Petropolis special. Thank you to Renan and everyone at Quinta da Paz Resort!

Friendly staff, great breakfast, beautiful surroundings, peaceful environment, clean elegant rooms, good sauna, good restaurant, cozy atmosphere, not very far from Rio de Janeiro and other tourist destinations such as Petropolis, Teresopolis and Nova Friburgo.

For those who want to relax in a calm and superior environment, this is the answer. The place is beautiful, rooms are spacious and service is top class. You have to drive long into the mountain but this makes it perfect as the only noise you hear is the one from nature. If you don't want to completely disconnect from work, wifi is excellent so you can check mail while enjoying the view. For sport activities you have tennis, gym and a very challenging walk. Breakfast is great and very well served. Carlos helped us a lot with reservation and then in the hotel, he has a top class service attitude. Excellent service in general. I will come back to this place for sure.

Staff, number of activities, comfort of bed, view. The staff really made the experience special. The staff was always very kind, extremely responsive, and professional! The view is incredible, and there are tons of amenities. We had a lot of fun playing chess, billiards, and had the option of tennis.

My wife and I enjoyed a very nice weekend a Les Roches. From the minute we arrived at the reception to the moment we checked out; the staff was kind, helpful and efficient. The property is set in a quiet valley, with a stream running through it; the landscaping is amazing, and I even noticed a little herb garden. We were among Toucans and other birds, monkeys and squirrels. Our chalet; furnished novo rustic, had a balcony with furniture and a hammock with a stunning view of the valley. We enjoyed a bottle of wine on it every evening. The chalet is spacious and clean with a comfy queen bed. Plenty of closet space and a large bathroom with plenty of hot water. The internet is excellent, cable TV; they have a small 3 par golf course, well maintained tennis court, wonderful pool and sauna, you can even borrow bicycles, but we settled for a long walk every morning on the country road. All 15 of the chalets were occupied, and it still felt like we were only there with a handful other folks; other guests are respectful of the peacefulness. Quiet and tranquil. We decided on a last minute dinner in the restaurant; and we were pleased by the quality of our meal. If there is one thing I would suggest; and it’s a very small thing, 4 lounge chairs at the pool is not enough for 15 occupied chalets. We will be back!

Pousada Les Roches is set in a beautiful park in Itaipava's Cuiabá Valley. It's a very quite and romantic place. The location is very good close to many nice places to visit there. The rooms-chalet style are with cozy country furniture in the middle of a beautiful Green Golf course all with a balcony with green view. Someone with fireplace and Spa bath. Has swimming-pool tennis court and a little Spa service. The reception and the restaurant are very cozy and tastefully furnished. The restaurant from the breakfast to the dinner is very tasty and the quality of the products used is very high and selected. Mr. Americo, the owner, and all the Staff are amazing, professional and very polite. I want to thank them for my beautiful stay. I suggest at full marks without doubt!

There are not enough superlatives to describe our stay at Pousada Les Roches. The cabin (chalet) we stayed in was spotless and charming, the pousada grounds and setting in the Cuiaba Valley are beautiful, and the food in the restaurant was excellent. What sent our stay "over the top" (in a good way) was the service we received from Americo, the owner, and all of the staff. Everyone we encountered went well out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect for us, and it was! We spoke only very limited Portuguese, but generally this was not an issue at all as many staff speak English and those that didn't were very kind and patient with our attempts at speaking Portuguese. One thing to be aware of is that the location is fairly remote, and activities or dining off-premises definitely requires a car. That said, you can happily spend a weekend here and not ever leave the property.

My father got married at Pousada Les Roches about 2 weeks ago. The ceremony was in the golf court (beautiful green area) during sunset, and the party inside the hotel (until 3am!). Everything went perfect! Service, buffet, decoration, atmosphere! Our family stayed in the beautiful bungalows, and the bride and groom in the Diamante bungalow! The day after the wedding we had lunch in the pool area, it was a beautiful sunny day! I definitely recommend Pousada Les Roches for romantic and charming events!

We had an excellent surprise with Pousada Les Roches. The service was outstanding, above any other Brazilian hotel I have stayed. The room was large, well decorated and well kept, the common areas were also well-decorated and clean. The restaurant had amazing food and service, no need to go to Petrópolis for haute cuisine. We highly recommend this Pousada and will definitely stay here again.
