Beautiful suite, bathroom was huge! Big jacuzzi jet tub in the room. Lovely touches with slippers, robes, and toiletries. Central location, friendly staff, and nice amenities. The beds are so comfortable, and there are lots of pillows.

I loved this hotel, jacuzzi in the room was amazing, incredibly clean, accommodated my asks for us arriving for my mums 60th.

The jacuzzi was so lovely, especially as we were caught in the rain. The rooms was person vely and the staff were attentive.

I absolutely loved everything about my stay. The junior suite with jacuzzi bath was the most luxurious room I’ve ever stayed in, with so many thoughtful extras provided that made it feel really special. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful! They went above and beyond, letting me stay comfortably in the lobby until my airport transfer and organising a taxi for me. This has truly been the best hotel experience I’ve had.

Amazing jacuzzi bath and proximity to the Tower of Pisa

Stayed in the king's room bed and pillows were so comfortable, had great night's sleep. Very clean throughout. Aircon good.. jacuzzi bath was a nice touch. In a good location felt safe at night walking around. Coming back to a clean room was good, after a long day. Lovely views from the bedroom can even see the tower of Pisa from there. Shared living room and kitchen was very nice lots of utensils to use. If we were visiting Pisa again we would definitely stay there and would recommend it to family and friends. Very close to the shops restaurants and the tower of Pisa local supermarket just around the corner was good to buy a few bits of essentials. We had a later flight and it was lovely to know we could leave our bags there very safe. Asked them if they could call us a taxi to take us to the airport, which was no problem taxi turn up on time.

Firstly the location of the place is perfect. It’s close to the “miracle square “ but very calm and peaceful with a garden in front. The view from the room is very green. The King room is very spacious. It’s much more than what you see in the photos. There is a main bedroom with double bed and an other room with sofa bed. There is a lot of space for luggage. The bathroom with jacuzzi bath is worth the price you pay. You can also use the common kitchen and living room. The kitchen is well equipped. Everything you get like towels, bedding, toiletries is of great quality. There is also bath salt for the bath. I will definitely visit pisa again just to stay here much longer.

Lauri Loft "King" was a lovely quality apartment - looked better than the photos! Beautiful wood-covered walls in hallway. Windows had mosquito nets, external shutters and aircon which made for a good night's sleep. King overlooked beautiful gardens. Bedroom was not huge but had separate walk-in wardrobe so plenty of room for our things. Huge bathroom with large bath with jacuzzi functions. (We didn't use it, we used the shower instead.) Was very glad to be able to leave our suitcases in the apartment hallway after check out to collect later. Only 10 min walk to leaning tower. Nb Lauri Loft contains 3 apartments: King, Queen and Standard, with a shared front door and lounge. King and Queen were at the end of a long corridor at opposite end from the lounge (and standard appt). Their entrances seemed far enough apart to feel private and quiet. In any case no one else was staying while we were there.

Our room was lovely and clean with little touches like the chaise lounge amd jacuzzi bath, plenty of space. There were some items left in the fridge for our use as well as breakfast items

This was a birthday present for my partner who loves Italy. The hotel is situated in the old town and gave us the opportunity to easily explore the delights of Pisa and beyond. It's close to the station and one of the main attractions, the leaning tower of Pisa. I booked a deluxe suite with a jacuzzi bath. This and the super king size bed made our stay very comfortable and relaxing. It would've been great to find an English speaking channel on the TV but there again we weren't there to watch TV! The extensive buffet breakfast was a welcome surprise and delicious. The only reason I didn't award five stars for my review was we would've like a kettle in our room so we could make ourselves hot drinks. Just a personal preference. I can't end my review without mentioning a special thanks to Kali for making our stay relaxing and memorable. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

location is superb, short walk to piazza dei miracoli. we arrived by train, and the walk was 25 min tops. Pisa turned out to be the city that never sleeps - in the morning there was a vegetable market right under our window, then fruit market from about midday (I didn’t see another fruit market in the city centre), and then the restaurants and pubs set their tables outside, till past midnight. we loved it, but maybe not the best place for those who expect to retire to bed @9pm and have a quiet time 🙂 the room is clean, bathroom with jacuzzi, toiletries replenished during the stay. we were not so keen on the breakfast provided, although the items in the kitchenette and fridge were plentiful. seamless check in and check out. we actually never saw a single member of staff, although bed was made when we would step out for late breakfast

We loved the location - quiet immediately around the hotel and then more lively but not overwhelming a short distance away. Lovely restaurants, perfect vibes and not even a 10 minute walk to Leaning Tower. Franco and Assunta were so organised and helpful - sending us WhatsApp messages with suggestions for breakfast and dinner in the area and other helpful stuff. Room itself was beautiful, had a bonus balcony which we didn't specifically book, but was very much welcomed. Also, there was an actual Lavazza coffee maker so that just topped it off for us! :) Great stay, thanks F&A.

The hotel is absolutely stunning from the moment you walk in. We stayed in the suite which is exceptional and quite possibly one of the best hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. The jacuzzi bath is so relaxing as is the complimentary bottle of bubbly! The staff are all incredibly friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble. Everywhere was as clean as could be and the hotel had a wonderful atmosphere. Thank you The Rif for helping to make our holiday so enjoyable!

The hotel itself it absolutely beautiful. Architecturally a lovely building and inside very tastefully dressed hotel from room to room. We had a surprise upgrade to the most amazing suite with a massive jacuzzi in a room of its own. A huge bed, smells like a spa (in a subtle way). I noticed there were lots of deals online for the suite so try and grab one if you can. However the deluxe room we had booked also looked fantastic. The staff on reception were super helpful with suggestions of restaurants and helping us with parking. (Which is payable but worth it). Breakfast was a good spread although I didn't see hot food, but plenty to choose from anyway. I highly recommend this hotel which is also great value for money!!

The perfect spot for a short break / overnight stay in Pisa. Small very comfortable boutique hotel within two minutes walk of the main sites but in a quiet avenue away from the hordes of tourists. If you want a warm friendly small quiet hotel with a magnificent garden - this is for you. If you want 5* luxury with a spa and swimming pool, this is not for you. Comfortable room with expresso machine and full of nice touches with great shower (pressure/waterfall/hand) Very nice cold buffet breakfast (try the granary. Croissants) Highly recommend Also 1 minute walk from Pisa Rossare station ( 25 minutes from the Central Station) - don’t get confused

The hotel smells fantastic as you walk in, the foyer is immaculate and looks out on to a beautiful garden complete with fountain and terrace to enjoy a quiet drink. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless, great size and high ceilings, beautifully decorated. There is always fresh water and local biscuits to help yourself to in reception. The breakfast was a simple but lovely continental style buffet. We also ate here in the evening and the food was delicious. The location is fantastic. On the right as you walk out the hotel you can see the tower and walk to it in less than 5 minutes. On the left you can take a 3 minute walk to the train station (Pisa San Rossore) which has frequent trains to lots of different places. I can’t believe this hotel is only a 3 star.

Jacuzzi is a wonderful luxury. The location is lovely and the hostess is a charming italian Lady. The apartment was clean and it was even cleaned from time to time. There is no kitchen in the apartment, so breakfast can be enjoyed in local restaurants :)

Great big living area. Amazing jacuzzi bath. Tea's, coffee & biscuits left. Seen a review about TV being too small absolute nonsense, If you come to Pisa to watch TV you don't deserve a massive TV. Highly recommend and great location for everything you want in Pisa.

The location was brilliant. The suite was a fantastic size. The furnishings were of a high standard. The jacuzzi bath was really good. Shower alternative was good too. Having a lift was a real bonus.

The jacuzzi was definitely worth it in the heat of summer, you can also use it cold which is lovely after a warm day in Pisa. The apartment is very clean and the kitchen is well equipped. It’s a great option for a family with small kids!

This is our second time staying at the apartment and we loved it just as much as the first. It is a great find in Pisa, spacious apartment with everything you would need. The terrace with jacuzzi is perfect. The hosts are very helpful, had great communication and stayed an extra night as the apartment was vacant. It's a very safe and quiet area but only a 15 minute walk from the leaning tower and 5/10 mins from bars and restaurants. Hopefully we will be back for a third time soon! Can't recommend this place enough.

Lovely quiet residential area, walking distance to the river and tower. It was immaculately clean and loved the roof terrace. Washing and coffee machine was a lovely touch

The lady was so friendly! She couldn’t do enough for us, she gave us free water on arrival and drove us to the beach and back for a small fee as we could not find a local taxi service. Nothing was too much for her and she even offered to give us an airport transfer if required. We booked this at short notice due to a cancelled flight and the room was ready when we arrived just 30 minutes after we had booked. Thank you very much we enjoyed our 2 nights here !!!!

So friendly - staff made us feel welcome like it was a home-from-home. We were able to leave our bags well ahead of check-in, and also leave them on the day we left - extending the time we could explore the lovely city of Pisa. Breakfast was amazing - fresh and plentiful, and a nice array of choices - croissants, bread, toast, juices, coffee, cereal, pastries, fresh fruit, (really nice selection, including perfectly-ripe kiwis!) Hotel is right smack in the middle of Pisa - 1-200m from the leaning tower, and 50m from the City wall, and 50m from an array of restaurants. The real bonus is the roof terrace, which you can sit out on - which has a front-row view of the Leaning Tower and Duomo, and a perfect place to enjoy a sunset. We bought a bottle of nice wine from the supermarket, and the hotel gave us glasses, so we enjoyed a spectacular sunset - I really can't rate this hotel highly enough!! Room was more like a suite than a room, with lovely bathroom, hallway, and everything you need for your stay. Lovely furniture, and comfy beds, with extra blankets and pillows in the wardrobe for those who wanted them, (that is always me!)

We stayed at the hotel for 10 days at the end of September and early October and had a wonderful time there. I will not give a detailed description of the hotel since the details given on the website are accurate. Our room (217) was on the second floor but since there are two lifts that was not a problem. The room was not large but there was plenty of storage space. The bathroom was small but again there was plenty of room and the shower was hot and powerful. There was no balcony but since there was not much of a view that didn't matter. The hotel is very central, a minute's walk from the Baths of Nero and a few more minutes to the Piazza dei Miracoli, but the street is very quiet and we were never bothered by noise. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Anyone wanting a peaceful and comfortable stay in the centre of Pisa could not do better than opt for the Hotel di Stefano.

This is an excellent hotel located in a quiet side street. It is close to the main sites, and to good restaurants and cafes. The staff are welcoming, friendly and attentive. My room was clean and comfortable. The front desk is manned 24/7 and the staff are helpful. The breakfast was good, with a wide range of food and drink.

Great location very close to the Duomo and in central Pisa. Very quiet location even though central. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well maintained with a rooftop terrace with view of the Duomo and leaning tower.

The process of booking was easy from start to finish and the hotel liaised with us prior to arrival to ensure our arrival was smooth. We were welcomed by a friendly, helpful and informative receptionist. Booking in was easy. We were provided with a leaflet with a local area map and restaurant recommendations. We visited the one, particularly recommended by the member of staff and had an excellent meal which was slso great value for money. We were shown to our room and shown how to activate the lights in the room. Our room was gorgeous, clean and well maintained. It had a private bathhroom, safe, coffee making facilities and a fridge. We could see the roof of the Baptistry from our window. There was no option for breakfast but there was a lovely cafe across the square where we bought breakfast. Luggage can be left at the hotel as well. Great location close to the Piazza Miracoli with excellent facilities and fantastic staff. I would definitely come back. Thank you.

The location of this hotel is perfect. So accessible from the airport and central station using public transport (1+ bus) and right next to the square where the Leaning Tower is located. The hotel is in easy walking distance of all the sights of Pisa. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable and gave us some good ideas of where to visit and where to eat. There is a great cafe across the square from the hotel that is open all day with amazing food and drink. We had a triple family room on the first floor, which was large and comfortable with everything we needed (and more) for a short break. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was a great size with a walk-in shower. We did not manage to enjoy the garden on this visit, as it was winter, but hope to return again in the spring!

Excellent and best Location and literally just beside the entrance of the Leaning tower of pisa and across the hotel are souvenirs shops and cafe, restaurants even MCDonalds just across it. Near the bus stop across the street. Very clean and comfortable beds and pillows. Our room is spacious for family of 4 adults. Loved The shower. Has a very good air conditioning especially on a very warm weather. Staff we're very friendly and helpful especially Matt. 100% Highly recommended.

We ended up at this hotel last minute and made our reservation on the way there. The person who checked us in (a tall man with long hair) was incredibly helpful, giving us great recommendations for local restaurants and less touristy dinner spots, which we really appreciated. We stayed at their secondary location, just a 7-10 minute walk from the main hotel (Hotel Pisa Tower). It was in a quiet, safe area, which we liked. The only reason we didn’t give this hotel a full five stars was due to a few issues in the bathroom – we noticed some ants and the fabric shower curtain (instead of a plastic one) seemed old and not as clean as it should have been. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay.

Check-in was fast, and the manager kindly showed us our room and shared great local tips — his short advice was more useful than any AI! Our top-floor room was peaceful, spotless, and full of Pisa charm. Manager’s recommendations on breakfast were very helpful. What really touched us was their kindness — on the rainy day after check-out, the staff still offered us shelter and comfort. A simple act that showed true hospitality. Charming and welcoming place to stay, just 15 minutes' drive from Pisa airport and a few minutes' walk from the Leaning Tower. Really attractive building with private parking at the rear (make sure you pre-book this well in advance, there is a charge but it's worth it). This was a huge plus, although squeezing in through the narrow drive was a bit tight but we managed in a large SUV. Lovely, spacious and light bedroom on the 1st floor (Room 4). Superking sized bed plus a single bed. It over-looked the back and side of the hotel. Front facing rooms might be rather noisy as the road is busy. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Breakfast can be inside or outside on a nice terrace area at the back. The highlight was the staff, everyone was super-friendly and helpful. Reception is open 24hours so our late evening arrival was no problem. Francesca in particular was really helpful and nice, she was managing both reception and breakfast when we were there and did it brilliantly with a smile! We would definitely choose Villa Tower Inn Hotel again when we return to Pisa.

Clean, well presented property, good sized rooms with character and nice facilities. Beds were comfy and clean and the terrace was lovely to sit out on in the evening. Property is central, only a few minutes walk to the Leaning Tower, Pisa Cathedral and Piazza del Duomo as well as bars, restaurants, markets and shops. There is also a room we were able to store luggage and freshen up with an early arrival allowing us time to explore the area.

Excellent little hotel only a stone’s throw from the Leaning Tower of Pisa. We had a room on the 3rd floor. A very spacious room that also had a settee and sofa bed so could accommodate another adult or child. The room was quite quiet and had a well stocked mini bar and large shower-room. Breakfast was a very nice buffet. The wine in the hotel bar was very reasonably priced! The hotel is only 250 metres from Pisa San Rossore station so if travelling from the airport on the PisaMover get a local train from Centrale station for couple of euros and save yourself the walk!

A very cosy and friendly small hotel. The room (loft/annex) had a modern and very original design, it was large, clean and comfortable. The staff, especially Francesca, were very helpful and friendly. And the location is superb, just a couple of minutes to the magnificent tower of Pisa, the garden and the historical complex!

Parking was convenient even with the central location, check in was easy and staff were helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable with nice views. Only a 5 mins walk to the tower of Pisa.

The hotel is a short walk from Pisa Central Stn, where you can find quite a few quality bistros and cafe bars. Hotel spotlessly clean, though a little dated, but that does give it the 'Italian Charm', the bathroom was more than adequate and had toiletries present. Extremely helpful staff on arrival and greeted with a smile. The receptionist is manned 24 hours. There is an outside ground floor romantic terrace garden where you can sip the odd aperol spritz or coffee. I left too early for breakfast, but the buffet table looked and smelt amazing. I certainly will use this hotel again, taxi booked with receptionist and was prompt on arrival. It is a great find for when I need to be at the airport early, taking all the stress away.

This was our 2nd time staying at this hotel. We thought the staff were very friendly and so very helpful. Letting us leave our cases on the last day was a tremendous help. Breakfast was extremely good, lots of choise, with attentive staff making it an enjoyable experience. Both the room and bathroom were so very clean, comfortable beds which is always a bonus and it was so quiet. The Hotel is near to the station and walkable to all the attractions of Pisa. We would definitely recommend to our friends and family to stay here when visiting Pisa. Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay.

For me location close to Pisa Central Train station was very important - for convenience arriving from Lucca by train and for getting the airport shuttle the following morning. It is very convenient to restaurants / shops and in a quiet location for sleeping at night. Staff were very welcoming and helpful with bag drop off and outlining route to take for sightseeing on hotel map. There is a small bar facility also offering tea/ coffee or hot water if required. I did not avail of breakfast option in the morning.

A very clean , friendly and comfortable hotel in a good location. The hotel is basic and quaint. The room was very clean. The breakfast was lovely and fresh. 5 mins walk to the station (we went to Portofino for a day and was very easy). 25 mins walk to Pisa Tower. The staff were helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again if we visit the area.

Absolutely amazing area to stay at , I don't think there was a single thing I could think of that wasn't a 5* experience from the art to the rooms to the dining I absolutely loved it and will make my way back again the next time I am in the area. (My wife loved the cheesecake so much that she asked about it for breakfast lunch and dinner so needless to say the food was amazing I preferred the restaurant at the hotel to any restaurant I have been to here in pisae and that speaks volumes by itself.) We spent one night in the San Raniera because of a late arrival in Pisa Airport. The hotel is just an eight minute taxi ride from PSA. The restaurant stays open until 22.00 so we were able to have a delicious dinner on arrival. The hotel and its rooms have a modern vibe and all the public spaces were clean and fresh. I can see why this hotel and its staff get such excellent reviews. They deserve it. A special thanks to Simona at reception who dealt with all my online queries before and after our stay.

The hotel was a short walk from the train station. Approximately eight minutes. Upon arrival, the staff couldn’t be more helpful. They helped us with finding restaurants nearby as it was late and we were hungry. Even going out of their way to make a phone call to make sure the restaurant was still open. They were also very helpful with directing us on which way to go to get to the leaning tower. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The shower was bigger than normal for Europe. We were in room 11. Breakfast was included and was a breakfast of champions. Everything from scrambled eggs to all sorts of delightful and different flavored croissants. Juices, cappuccinos, lattes, etc.. Also a tasty assortment of Italian cold cuts and cheeses. In the back above a carport was a lovely outdoor sitting area. Very private, as it was on the backside of the hotel. There were tables and chairs and plenty of umbrellas to keep the sun off. We enjoyed sitting there at night after a fun full day of walking all over Pisa.

Breakfast was served in a downstairs room adjacent to reception and was key card access only so it made you feel very safe staying there the breakfast was a varied continental style but with a lot of choices from fresh fruits yogurts pastries and deli meats and cheeses along with a selection of breads and delicious pastries The location is good being situated in a residential area and on a bus route but within walking distances of bars and restaurants the hotel has an excellent pre book shuttle service to the train station,square of miracles and also the airport which is €15 Euro for 2 passengers which is a good service We had a nice spacious room on the first floor and the beds were comfy with nice linens and air con great we would stay here again and the staff are very welcoming knowledgable and speak many languages too.

Really liked the location, all the main sights were just over the river so made it quieter. Nice clean rooms, helpful friendly staff and a good breakfast buffet with a lot of choice. Not too modern which was nice and a relaxing outdoor terrace to have a drink or snack.

A ten minute walk from the train station (or 15 minute taxi from Pisa Airport), this hotel is in the older part of the city in a quiet side street. Our single rooms were a little small but comfortable, very clean and quiet. Reception staff were excellent and the breakfast was pretty good. It was also very good value for money. In a parallel street, there are lots of shops and cafes and, just across the river, many restaurants and the very lively student area. If you have time, visit the Pisa Walls. Access is at 4 points and costs 5 Euros but you'll get the best possible views of Pisa!

Good food, the evening meals in the restaurant were exceptional, breakfast had plenty of variety and was all great quality. Rooms are fairly basic but clean, comfortable and come with all the facilities you would expect. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, excellent value for money

The room was clean and very modern. We stayed for one night, the staff were friendly and welcoming with also a welcome drink voucher to use in their bar area. I was very comfortable staying here.

Staff were welcoming and friendly, super helpful. Everything was clean, breakfast was great, plenty of choice. Complimentary water was perfect on a hot summer days! Good location from the city centre and from the airport.

As a family of four with two toddlers, we had a very comfortable and easy stay at this hotel. We had two rooms (next to each other, not connected) and this was very convenient. The reception area was clean and nicely designed, and the breakfast area was easy to get to and had high chairs. The breakfast was ideal whether you prefer sweet or savory. The place was pretty quiet during our stay, not very busy. Parking right outside. Helpful & friendly staff. Overall, can't really fault anything with the place especially if you want something easy with kids.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They could not do enough for their guests. There was a variety of food at breakfast, including different types of dairy free milks, which was great as I have a lactose intolerance. The food at dinner was of a high standard and there was a suitable choice of food on the menu. The hotel was clean and presentable and the staff wanted to clean the room on a daily basis. The staff were helpful in booking taxis on our behalf when wanting to travel to the train station and back to the airport.

The hotel is in a great location – in a quiet part of Pisa, yet still very close to the Leaning Tower, restaurants, and cafés. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, both at the reception and in the coffee bar. The sandwiches and coffee in the hotel bar are tasty and of good quality. The hotel and rooms are very clean; our room was cleaned every day and the towels were replaced daily. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I wish you all the best!

Perfect location for the Leaning Tower & the river. Set in a little square, The hotel had its own small cafe selling fresh pastries , sandwiches , coffee , soft drinks & bars etc. The reception was open 24hrs so you could get drinks etc 24hrs if you wanted to. It was quiet at night which surprised me as it was quite central. Very friendly & helpful staff.

Perfect location for bars and restaurants. Close to the river too. And a lovely walk to visit the Tower and passing some gorgeous squares and buildings on the way. Pisa is a bit overlooked but worth spending a couple of nights there. The cafe/bakery at the bottom of the hotel is amazing. Beautifully fresh food and lonely staff. We had a gorgeous breakfast and fabulaos sandwich for lunch. Would absolutely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The Hotel was spotless from the front door to our room. Air conditioning in the room was fantastic and the location of the hotel is superb, it is in a quiet little street and a 15 min walk from The Tower of Pisa. The bar downstairs was open 24hrs, our room was directly above the front entrance and we never heard a thing, I slept like a baby. Hotel Verdi offer a continental breakfast in the morning which has plently to offer and is very popular with the locals.

The location was perfect for exploring the city due to its central location but was also nice and quiet at night. The room didn't have a kettle and I didn't book breakfast but there was no need for either as there is a fantastic 24h hour cafe located in the hotel. The cafe staff also look after the hotel and are very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful hosts in a family establishment that spans several generations. So friendly and helpful during my short stay. Literally a stones throw from the central station and a pleasant stroll through the town to all the main attractions of Pisa. Very comfortable room, totally perfect as a base for a short stay. Lovely to be able to get coffee and a pastry for breakfast and eat in the common terrace area. Very secure and safe for solo travellers, I felt completely at ease during my stay.

This little hotel couldn't be more convenient to the train and bus stations - literally 2 minutes away. My flight was delayed and I arrived late, but they had emailed with a code and instructions to get in, which were easy to follow. Area was fine, room clean and comfortable. Really good value for money and perfect for my overnight stay. Staff friendly and very helpful. think the website said they don't do breakfast, but there is a café on the ground floor, where I was able to get coffee and pastries. I would definitely go back there.

Hotel Maria is a family-owned and operated boutique hotel adjacent to Pisa Centrale and very close to the historic center. The family is warm and welcoming, and anxious to please their guests. The rooms - especially the bathrooms - are small (but consistent with European standards). The beds were very comfortable and roomy enough. The AC worked perfectly; hot water was plentiful. Couple of things to keep in mind before booking: the rooms are on the 2d floor and there is no lift (but staff will carry your bags upstairs); the shower stall is VERY small and would not accommodate a larger person. There are, however, so many more positive reasons to stay here. There is a cafe off the lobby for coffee/pastries etc. Our breakfast was included in the room price, and Mauricio (the owner) encouraged us to choose whatever we wanted (and however much we wanted!) and told us to sit outside and he would bring it to us. Directly outside is a lovely terrace with tables and chairs. A few steps toward the back of the hotel is an even lovelier seating area in the garden, where we chose to enjoy breakfast every day. Overall, the location and the owners' gracious hospitality earn the Hotel Maria 5 stars!

Great little hotel right next to the station and in a few minutes' walking distance of restaurants, bars and shops in the city centre. It's also super convenient for the airport. My room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. It took a little while for hot water to come through but it wasn't so cold that I couldn't shower.

Great location - just across the square from the railway station., and within easy walking distance of the old town and the leaning tower etc. Friendly,helpful staff. Small coffee shop on the premises. Modern decor and clean throughout. Comfortable bed. Great value.

This hotel is a must, if you want to be a stones throw away from the Leaning Tower and in the heart of the city. We had a one night stay in Pisa and were delighted that we selected this hotel to stay in. It is around a 3 minute walk to the base of the leaning tower and as you leave the hotels main entrance you are on the main street in Pisa, where you can find restaurants shops and bars. The room was very comfortable (although our view from the room was terrible). The bathroom was well stocked and the beds were comfortable and the shower worked well. The hotel is not a modern hotel, but its not tired and not in need of repair, it has character. There were a few issues with the fire alarm going off, but this didn't impact our stay. Breakfast was fine and sets you up for the day. The staff were friendly and polite. As we were leaving the hotel, they offered to take us to the train station - it cost €15 which was a little pricey (compared to a taxi). There is a taxi rank a minute walk from the hotel. One thing that you must do if staying here, is visit the roof top restaurant/bar. The prices are ok but the view of the Leaning Tower at night is amazing. We had a relaxing drink taking in the amazing site.

Just returned from a few days in Pisa staying at this lovely hotel. We really enjoyed Pisa and staying here was the perfect location. The hotel may be a little dated but we thought that added to it's charm. Like stepping back in time to when things were better made. Everything was comfortable, well made and worked. Beautiful large bed and a bathroom that didn't have a leaky shower! (Makes a nice change) The juliette balcony with view of the tower was a bonus. The breakfast choice was great. Loved the fresh fruit, yoghurts and choice of bread rolls, cheese and meats. There was cereals, cakes, eggs, bacon, sausage which looked good although not what I chose to eat. Really good cup of tea and choice of coffees. The rooftop terrace (for guests only) was amazing. A great place to see the tower and watch the sunset with a drink. The real asset of the hotel is the staff who are all so friendly, hard working, knowledgeable and helpful. Easy to get to Lucca from here from small station ( Pisa San Rossore) near the Piazza Dei Miracoli. Much easier than walking to the Central Station. I hope to return someday.

Perfect location moments walk from the leaning tower, Duomo and other historic monuments. 15 min gentle stroll over the river to the main shopping area Directly outside the hotel on the pedestrian street via santa maria, there are so many restaurants, 2 small supermarkets, ice cream shops, and a bakery. We had room 215, and although it was at the front of the hotel ( street side), it was so quiet at night. Roof top terrace, restaurant, and bar , Was beautiful....what a view of the tower and Duomo, so lovely at sunset . Good breakfast, small section of hot food but more croissants, pastry and cold meats... all lovely and fresh. Also had cereal, fresh fruit yoghurt, etc. All really friendy staff throughout our 3 day stay, Smallish room but really comfortable bed , nice linen and towels great aircon much needed in July!! 10/10

If you are visiting Pisa the best place to stay is here! The moment you arrive the staff are so welcoming and friendly with lots of knowledge about the area. The room was perfect 😍 spotlessly clean and loads of space for clothes. Open the doors and look to the right and there is the Leaning Tower!! Stocked fridge with 6 different juices and bottles of water. Air con was fab and not too noisy. Breakfast was superb..lots of choice and all fresh…coffee was amazing 🤩 If your flight is later the staff keep your luggage once you’ve checked out so you can spend another few hours enjoying the town. The location of the hotel is fab as everything is right on your doorstep! The rooftop area is amazing with fantastic views so that’s a must! Booking again for next year! 😍

Great location, very close to leaning tower and a variety of shops and restaurants. Easy 20-25 minute walk from Pisa Central station. Rooms are fairly basic, but clean with all you need for a short stay. The rooftop bar and restaurant were fantastic, great service, a marvellous view and reasonable prices. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK. Room was quiet, some noise from corridor, but nothing that a pair of earplugs wouldn’t fix if you happen to be a light sleeper.

Quiet location near the train station. Lots of restaurants & shopping streets within walking distance. Entrance is by security code on the door & CCTv in the public areas Only staff & guests with access to the hotel. Excellent pressure & temperature in shower. Perfect air conditioning, room cleaned every day with fresh toiletries & towels daily. Comfortable bed. Great fresh selection of cold food, fruits, yogurts etc. Staff are friendly though lacking in English but we got by. We were impressed on morning three they knew we wanted a tea & a coffee for breakfast & started to prepare same for us when we were selecting our food. Very helpful & efficient. On our last day we met an English speaking lady. Highly recommend a stay here. We would definitely Italy stay there again.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed and good water pressure in shower. Mini fridge in room and very reasonable minibar prices. Breakfast was continental and everything very fresh. Liked the toastie machine at breakfast! Coffee excellent too. Location was great. Air con available in the room for €10 euro daily (this is because I visited outside the summer months and there are strict city regulations).

Staff were very helpful and provided travel advice for Pisa and gave us tips of where and where not to go. Continental breakfast had a lot of variety, Fresh hard boil eggs in the morning , fresh fruit and yogurt. Large variety of pastries. Great coffee. Very clean and comfortable. Security was great, needed a code to open the doors. Made you feel safe

Breakfast was amazing! Buffet style, selection of food - fresh and dry fruits, cold cuts, coffee, juices, cereals etc. The room was clean, with everything neccesery - hairdryer, extra pillows, shower kit etc. Room was cleaned every day! The employees were very Kind 😊 All recommendations!
