Very clean, peaceful motel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Excellent and quick room service . The owner gave us a lift in the morning from the motel to the town centre with his own car.

Beautifully styled property in an excellent quiet location with easy access to the lovely wine museum (straight across the street - really worth visiting prior to a bodega tour to get to grips with the various processes involved in creating the gorgeous Albariños of the region), the ruined church and the Capilla da Pastora. The small, private hotel has plenty of comfortable communal areas both inside and out. We had the ground floor room (accessible) and it was totally wonderful - plenty of space; a large, comfy bed; and an oversized bathroom with a big walk-in shower. The owner, Pastora, and her manager, Lydia, are delightful - so friendly and helpful - they really couldn't do any more to assist us make the most of our stay in Cambados. And the breakfast... without doubt one of the most delicious breakfast buffets ever. Gorgeous breads, loads of fruit, delicious fresh orange juice, a wide range of cakes and pastries, cheese and meats, yogurts and berries. After all that, we didn't need to eat again until the evening!

The property was beautiful and clean, and the breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed the terrace off our room and thought the main terrace was lovely. Staff were kind and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Ok location on the outskirts of town, a 10 minute walk to the centre. Comfy rooms and good shower. Nice helpful staff who gave us a great recommendation for a tapas bar on the seafront to watch the sunset. Cute terrace and garden and the breakfast that was included was lovely. Good value for money.

Charming small hotel beautifully appointed. Smiling staff that could not do enough to help and made our stay such a pleasure. Comfortable bedroom with terrace off. Great shower, lovely bedlinen. Shared lounge area with facilities for making tea, coffee etc. Delicious breakfast with long opening times, so good when on holiday.

This is essentially a brand new hotel, spacious, clean, comfortable and parking right in front. I really appreciate the attention to detail in every space, the artwork, and the enclosed patio to relax in. I did not mind the 10 minute walk to the center of town as I like walking after a meal and as a way to see more of the town and it's in a quiet neighborhood. The receptionist Lida was exceptionally helpful in sharing places to see and dine. I feel lucky to have found this hotel!

We stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed the spa. Comfortable beds and quiet nights, also rooms were really warm (ended up sleeping with no duvet on), it was perfect for us! Spa has 3 separate pools, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room, was great to explore everything. Spa opened at 9am and we managed to swim a bit even on the check out morning.

The Spa was excellent, clean, open and super relaxing. The breakfast options were good and the food was delicious. The building was classic and elegant, with all the expected modern amenities without losing it’s older charm.

OUstanding hotel in a wonderful spot in Sanxenxo. close to lots of nice bars and restaurants and a beautiful beach. the beach is a very very short walk and is stunning. The spa was a treat, but remeber your swimming cap (they do have them for clients).

Easy check-in, parking free next to the hotell, spacious room with huge comfy bed. Clean and big bathroom. Very nice sauna and pool facilities. Good breakfast.

everyone was very nice and the breakfast was amazing. the beds are very comfortable, the room has blinds so 0 sunlight comes in, and also has double doors the windows so no noise from outside. The rooms also have double doors on the hallway so you hear 0 noise from inside the hotel. All in all everything I this hotel has been perfectly designed.

Fabulous hotel with amazing spa facilities. Staff were kind and attentive, facilities were great. Spa treatments were spectacular. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. The decor could do with ‘decluttering’. Used to staying in five star hotels and Augusta surpassed expectations. To Fix: 1. The food is really bad and overpriced. Unforgivable given how good food is in Galicia. DO NOT BOOK HALF BOARD. The hotel must fix this. We went to restaurants around the area and the food was amazing. 2. Charging for delivery of room service is wrong. 3. There is a lack of staff and this is evident. 4. They should not charge to play games in the playroom (darts / futbolín) 5. Rooms need hooks for wet clothes!!! All this said, I loved the hotel, the spa and the people. Thank you Augusta

We stayed in Augusta II, the older of the two buildings. The rooms here are larger with sitting / dining area and small kitchen. All rooms come with two 'beds' but the second bed is a sofa-bed ... however the sofa-bed was actually comfortable enough. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Spa was lovely and well run, clean and the treatments excellent. Great location - out of the hustle and bustle of the main town, but only 5 minutes walk to the beach

We had a wonderful stay here, except for one issue: dinners. The views are breathtaking and we really enjoyed the pool and spa. The staff is super friendly and polite. Breakfast is excellent and there are good gluten free options (as in the rest of Galicia). However, there is not much around the hotel, it is a place you go to get away from everything, and therefore we expected a reasonable dinner option to be available at the hotel. It wasn't. Dinner at the main restaurant was served from 9-11pm (with reservations). This is not inclusive of many foreign guests like ourselves who eat dinner much earlier. So we were left with the hotel bar, and there the food was absolutely terrible and overpriced. I'd read about this in previous reviews and unfortunately it's true. One night in we realised we'd have to drive to the mainland for dinner for the rest of our stay. We would have also appreciated a kettle and teacups in our room. This being said we loved our stay and would return, but taking into account the inconvenience of dinner. It detracted from what would otherwise have been a 5-star stay.

The location was amazing and our room view was perfect. Loved the balcony and complimentary bottle of champagne. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room size was very good. The pool space and spa areas were lovely and so relaxing. We had a gorgeous meal in the restaurant although was a bit late for us.

Excellent property. Beautiful large room with fabulous views from the balcony. Staff is super helpful. Great breakfast and bar lounge for evening drinks looking out on the ocean. Only objection would be that you had to pay a fee to use the indoor pool and spa. Would prefer to have this included in the room rate as a five star property should not have add ons for amenities.

This hotel is superb. We were greeted and treated really well. Our room with a balcony was excellent, the view over the water was exceptional. I would highly recommend staying here when you visit Galicia, Spain. It is not in a city, but on an island linked by a bridge. It is about 1 hour from Vigo and the same from Santiago de Compestella, two places you must visit in Galicia. Make sure you get the breakfast included as it is great and the choices are too numerous to list. There is a heated pool outside and a spa if you want to indulge. It is one of the best hotels I have stayed in.

We arrived at the hotel in the evening just 5 minutes before the close of the restaurant. The hotel staff kept the restaurant doors open for us and made us feel very welcome. They were patient with us to guide us through the menu and very attentive to all our needs. Aspects that are worth mentioning are the cleanliness standards of the rooms and the overall experience at the breakfast table. My only criticism is that the rooms are not adequately sound proofed.

Everything was beautiful ❤️ We were given complimentary coffee tea biscuits chocolate and water in our room.The situation was wonderful with views of the sea and surrounding countryside.Unfortunately, when we went out for an ice-cream to the little commercial centre my husband had a bad fall and had to be taken to the main land in an ambulance as he cut his head open . Every one was so kind, and helpful.Adrian on reception arranged for ice for the wound, extra towels, water to drink, the housekeeping was so kind, concerned and helpful.The buffet breakfast was amazing

We loved the location of the hotel on the sea front. Our room was very comfortable with a superb view across the bay. The staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet was amazing. It was excellent value for money and a lovely place to spend the night while exploring the Rias Baixas.

I liked this hotel. It has a very relaxing atmosphere, the staff is super friendly, and the location is great! The room and bathroom were fantastic, nice and comfortable both of them. The window view to the bay was great. The breakfast was awesome! A lot of options and the high quality. We really enjoyed the outside pool and walking around La Toja island.

This is one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed in! This is largely due to the staff who are all, without exception, pleasant, friendly and very helpful. The hotel itself is in a great position and the rooms are spacious and kept very clean by the pleasant housekeeping staff. The spa is lovely and great to be included in the normal rate, along with towels( which can be taken to the beach) and slip on sandals. The cafeteria and restaurant serve good, competitively priced meals along with reasonably priced drinks. Breakfast has a great selection of everything, including lots of fresh fruit.

The location of the hotel is excellent – with a perfect view of the sea (though not from all rooms, of course…). The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable, and so are the beds. I slept very well! The staff is helpful and very kind. Breakfast was the best part of the day: a wide variety of delicious food and drinks. The beach is just 30 meters from the hotel – you can enjoy the sea day and night, just like we did.

This was our 2nd visit within 2 months. We must say the hotel location is best in Sanxenxo. We stayed in one of the suite rooms with a stunning sea view. The room was spacious, modern and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and professional throughout our stay. Breakfast offered a wide range of quality foods. Spa was also nice with sea water swimming pool with various relaxing jacuzzies. We definitely visit again near future.

My room had a view onto the bay and the view and air was wonderful. Breakfast was plenty and with fresh fruit and juice. I could take a walk on the beach in the morning. The food in the restaurant also with great view was simply delicious.

Great spa and pool. The room was massive and had a balcony with a sea view. The restaurant was also very good - excellent sea bass and great service. Underground parking was safe for my car and the property is right in the beach, close to lots of fun things in the town.

We had a lovely clean and comfortable sea view room with a wrap around balcony and great views. We had our dog with us and she liked wandering around the balcony and watching who/what was going on down at street level. There was a landscaped area alongside a stream immediately opposite the hotel which was ideal for 1st and last dog walks of the day. Breakfasts were very good. The hotel was within a short walk of a beach where we took our dog: for a run: it was a bit scrubby but at least we could take her on it. We arrived on a Sunday and the hotel restaurant was closed for dinner that evening. However, the hotel receptionist recommended a bar/restaurant that turned out to have some of the best tapas we had in the whole of our 3 1/2 trip around Spain. There were numerous places to eat within easy walking distance. The hotel was also within easy walking distance to the ferry to Vigo, which made a good day's excursion. If we had stayed longer we would have explored the possibility of a ferry trip to the nearby island. The room was spacious. Parking on the street outside was easy and free : we could see our car from our room.

AC works only in manual mode. Either you turn it on or off manually, it doesn’t stop blowing. It impossible to sleep with open windows becase the hotel is on the hill, and motorcycles make laud noise during the nights. There no good restaurants around, all serve just tapas. To find one you have to walk at least a mile. In general all restaurants on the main street in Moana are kind of weak, nothing worth noting. The carpet in the hallways in the hotel is weared out. The all furniture is from ikea, it is still new, and look ok. The beds and pillows are firm and not comfortable, pillows are synthetic and they are awful. Refrigerator was barely cooling. Dont buy their Spa package, you will have to schedule appointment and then build your day around it, and there is no AC inside this spa, there no air to breathe. On the positive side, the view is great, but only from the rooms facing the bay. Parking is free on the street, it possible to find one any day. The beach in Moana is not good, there is low tide avery time i was passing by. You have to have a car to go places from this hotel. It is very overpriced and mot worth the money.

Nice looking hotel. The architecture in this area is not the most beautiful, I think. We had a very comfy room with a god big bed. It was v quiet. We had a lovely balcony with a view.

Lovely hotel, really helpful and friendly reception staff, the lady who served us I think was Judith. She sorted out our problem and recommended an excellent restaurant.

The room was pure luxury with a multi-jet shower, fantastic jacuzzi, and a giant 65-inch swivel TV so we could watch from the bubbles. It is definitely a love hotel, complete with bold decor and a certain “romantic” atmosphere, which we leaned into and enjoyed. The 24-hour food and drink service was a big win too.

The room had a bold, luxurious style with a massive mirror ceiling that was great fun. The two-person bath was well-shaped and the shower poured directly into it, which was a nice touch. The bed was large and comfortable, and the TV was positioned directly in front for easy viewing. The 24-hour food and drink service was also excellent.

We loved the hot tub, set up of the room, and the privacy given to all guests. What the area lacks in nearby restaurants, the hotel makes up for in their extensive and reasonable room service. The staff was thoughtful and very helpful from check in to breakfast and check out. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

Very convenient for Sanxenxo, which is a lively resort town but far enough away to be quiet and feel secluded. The hotel is right on the gorgeous beach and the pool and surrounding area were beautiful. A good location for exploring nearby Pontevedra (lovely city) or further afield along the outstanding coastline. The staff were friendly and attentive without being in your face. The pool are was never crowded and sunbeds and parasols were always available. The restaurant buffet is very good value and the food good. The bar/cafeteria similar and with great views out over the sea. Loved it.

Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Room had everything we needed, nice shower, comfortable bed, air conditioning, fridge and balcony with sea view. Room was in good condition and very clean although some additional pillows in the wardrobe would be good. Free drinks in the fridge on arrival was a nice touch. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Pool area is lovely, no issue with availability of sunloungers and direct access to the beach. Didn't eat much in the hotel, but food seemed fine, but nothing special. A nice twenty minute stroll down to the town and only €5-6 euro taxi journey back. A pleasant and relaxing hotel. Would recommend, although definitely on the pricey side.

What a gem of a hotel! Excellent location, right on the beach. Lovely sea views from the room. Excellent breakfast, although coffee machine not great, yet there is a decent barista coffee machine in the bar. It was low season when we were there in mid-May, so only a few guests. Loads of sun loungers by the pool and the hotel does not tolerate the classic German habit of “bagging” sun loungers. Food at dinner was OK, nothing special, but there is a 3-course menu at €24, which is OK. If you want to go out to eat, it’s either a bit of a walk (15-20mins) or a car ride for greater choice. Good choices in Combarro: start with La Tinta Negra, which has a good varied selection but well known for their rice dishes.

It’s a 3 star hotel, however I felt it could easily be 4 star hotel. Food was incredible, rooms super new and clean and amazing spa. A beautiful and newly renovated hotel with a beautiful garden, spa facilities and its own beach. The common areas are bright and spacious. The rooms are of a high standard. There are several restaurants - both outside and inside. Large breakfast buffet. Good service.

We had a fantastic time and will return for sure for the spa alone. Such a great addition to the hotel, if you are staying, make sure you book one day at the spa - it is the most relaxing and healing experience. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the selection of local cheeses. The outdoor pool (free of charge) was not too busy and quite good too. Free coffee bar was definitely a welcome addition and plenty of fresh water available everywhere. The bar next door had great atmosphere for evening drinks.

The spa was very nice, salt water with a lot of features and amazing Turkish bath. The gym is very nice and complete. The breakfast is very nice and location is perfect for walking the island or even go to O Grove for a relaxing time

With two kids, our room was great. Both beds had more than enough room for a family of 4. The breakfast and dinner were really good. Also everyone in the hotel and spa were super friendly. Highly recommend this hotel.

We had a nice room with a balcony overlooking the river. We were there in October on an intermittently rainy day so did not experience any issue with the comfort of the room. We were in the main building. It is a historical hotel so the building itself is older but also charming for this reason. There is a large outdoor pool and a smaller shallow pool outside that is a hot spring. In the basement there is a very interesting hot springs jacuzzi. You sign up for a time slot, which we had no problem getting. It has other spa facilities there also. There is this unique multicolor waterfall like thing in the center of the Jacuzzi that is very fun. Breakfast is in a large dining room and has a pretty standard European breakfast available that was good.

Yes, this is an old building which was probably the epitomy of style in its day, when visitors came 'to take the waters' and be treated with, then, cutting edge hydrotherapies with the naturally warm medicinal spring waters. Now it is a bit tired and dated. However, the staff were kind and helpful, the continental breakfast buffet plentiful and the room clean and comfortable. We stayed in the motel style rooms which is separate from the main hotel. THE SPA is lovely and a 30 minute session is included in the booking. It's like a double size jacuzzi with jets and fountains in a cave like environment under the hotel. You can pay extra for another area with sauna, steam, ice wall sections as well as the usual spa treatments. The seasonal outdoor mineral water pool and pool recliners are free to hotel guests

Como única pega, la imposibilidad de reservar una sóla habitación familiar para los cuatro (con dos camas supletorias para las niñas), lo que nos obligó a reservar dos habitaciones. It was the end of season for the hotel and the food choices were limited; the fresh orange juice mentioned in other reviews had been replaced by diluted concentrate. However the hotel management went out of their way to be helpful, with suggestions as to where to go in the local area and good restaurants, some of which proved to have closed for the winter. The address of the hotel as shown on the booking was confusing, as the first line was not a road or street but an area in itself

Es un hotel moderno, con habitaciones amplias, camas grandes, caja fuerte... muy bien insonorizado, parking gratuito bastante amplio, piscina, y desayuno buffet (6€ por persona y día). Personal cercano y amable. Volveríamos a repetir, sin duda.

TODO BASTANTE BIEN. Solo se hecha de menos un mini-bar en la habitación, lo considero más necesario que la caja de seguridad.

Super recomendado para familias, mis hijas disfrutaron de las instalaciones al máximo ( piscina y parque infantil). The property was stunning, really clean and exactly as the pictures show it to be. The hot tub outside was fab and Nuria, the host was a having and super helpful, nothing was too difficult for her. We were staying there as I was competing in the world age group triathlon in Pontevedra and she went above and beyond, ordering us taxis, helping dry my kit and lending us a marker pen. The air conditioning was great and the outside space was a breathe of fresh air and really private. The shower was brilliant and the kitchen was really well equipped. We will definitely return.

We stayed in two properties on the complex and both were absolutely beautiful and clean with everything you could possibly need there for our stay! We had our dog there too and she was very relaxed at the villa as it is pet friendly. Andrea was very helpful providing us with anything we needed extra also! Just lovely all round and very quiet too! Highly recommended!

We travelled with our 8-month-old, and they kindly assigned us the most easily accessible room; also, there was plenty of space for the crib. Parking is safe and spacious, as well as easy to access from the building. The best part was the service - the hosts are incredibly professional, kind, and available for anything we needed. We were welcomed with complimentary snacks and drinks and offered water for the trip back at checkout. We've been to Sanxenxo a few times, and this was the best experience we've had. We loved the location and easy access to the beach and parks but what stood out most was the friendliness of all the staff. We brought our 3 young children and they were so thoughtful and caring towards them. The apartment was perfect for preparing meals, the beds were very comfortable and there was parking close by. Perfect location to visit Sanxenxo and Portonovo. Very quiet place. Staff was great and helpfull. Visited Sanxenxo multiple times and always stayed in different places (hotels, private houses, campings, etc...), this one was by far the best so, next time i visit this region i will stay for sure again in Sanxenxo Deluxe.

It was so quiet at night and the walls were almost 50cm thick in the traditional Spanish style. Bueu is a great place to explore and everything is within easy walking distance . Breakfast was great. Amalia was very welcoming, greeting us with chilled bottled water and a slice of a Galician cake made during Holy Week. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, with a beautiful view of the countryside. Everything was very clean. The grounds are lovely and if we hadn't been so tired from our day walking the Camino, we would have spent time enjoying the garden space. The house is beautiful and had a comfy living room for relaxing. This was our first stay in a casa Rural, and we were very impressed. Thank you, Amalia, for a great stay!

Amelia and her husband were exceptional hosts. We felt very welcome as we were greeted with cake and water when we checked in. The room was spacious and clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The outside of the home is very well kept and perfect to relax in after a long day of walking. The pool is lovely! Breakfast the following morning was absolutely outstanding. Best on the camino. Excellent value for the price. Could not recommend this place enough!

A very clean accommodation with a beautiful pool and garden about 1,5 km from the pilgrimage route, privately run. The owner is very concerned about the well-being of her guests and takes great care of them. Drinks can be purchased on site and the owner gave us homemade snacks, which were very attentive. The breakfast buffet was exceptional and was prepared with great attention to detail, with freshly squeezed orange juice, lots of fruits, etc. Thank you again from André & Monika

The house is beautiful and the hostess is so kind and gracious. To be welcomed with a bottle of cold water and homemade bread pudding was such a treat after a long day on the Camino! The rooms were immaculately clean and well appointed. Loved sleeping with the screened window open and waking up to such a beautuful view! The property includes a swimming pool and large garden in which to relax. A glass of wine and other amenities are available for purchase. Breakfast was also available to purchase and was out of this world with jams made from homegrown fruit along wirh an assortment of pastries, eggs, and coffee. The walk from the Camino was only about a km and was well worth it!

Room and bed were better than expected, given the reviews. Good mattress and looked newly renovated. Quite quiet, despite being next to a busy restaurant. Owner of restaurant and hotel was very helpful, kind and gave us food despite the kitchen being closed. Good option 5km ftom Pontevedra

Perfect for Caminho pilgrims even though it's a bit further from the official trek. The room was clean apparently newly renovated and very comfortable. Downstairs is a little local pub where you can pick up your keys and have a beer later after a long day. Definitely recommended.

The room was absolute comfortable. Fernando has been very welcoming.

Very friendly and kind host, comfortable and nice room and washroom, the best pillow on the Camino!!!

Functional rooms kept neat and tidy in a medium sized family run hotel inbetween nice beaches. The owners were lovely and the breakfast buffet with a lot of homemade cakes and other yummy ingredients a great change from average breakfast fair in Spain.

We stayed at this hotel for one night with friends. The location was perfect, overlooking a rocky/sandy beach and within easy walk of the town. The parking was adequate although a tight squeeze for a big car. The rooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good although the eating area/bar was small. The terrace outside was ideal for relaxing, having breakfast or an evening drink but the weather was not kind to us on this occasion. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Super clean hotel, which is located right on the sea front with amazing views. The breakfast is plentiful and fresh with a lovely choice. The owners and staff are extremely polite and helpful and go out of the way to make everything easy for guests.

Excellent facility with friendly and helpful staff. View from the balcony over the river is unforgettable. All- dsy cafe was very useful, particularly during the bad weather we experienced. Strong recommendation Really excellent breakfast.

Super friendly reception staff! We were able to leave our bags with reception after we checked out. Lovely breakfast including fresh orange juice, toast, cheese, ham, jams and various cakes and fruit. You can enjoy it on the terrace overlooking the sea. Just a minute or two walk away from one of the small beaches, and you can walk almost continuously along the beach to the main promenade of Sanxenxo.

We had a 3 bed room with a large bathroom and full sized bath-great after a long day walking in the rain! Welcome pack of cakes, coffee, tea, chocolates, juice etc was such a lovely surprise. Beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet. Other guests were friendly and also quiet. A lovely stay. We wish the rain had stopped so we could use the outside terrace. Lovely views over the gardens and countryside beyond. Highly recommended.

The place was very well kept even htough there was no host on site. The room was large adn the view from the window serene and nature filled. The bathroom was large and had soap ad lots of towels and toilet paper. The beds were comfortable. They had a well stocked airy kitchen with a fridge and microwave. It extended onto a terrace tat was so inviting for it patio furniture and the amazing view of the hills. it was quite - only the traffic interrupted the silence. The host was so kind to leave us treats and juices in our room.

Able to park bikes in hallway, comfortable bed, clean, lovely terrace and good shower. Well equipped kitchen and clothes line for each room. Little basket of supplies was a welcome touch. We got a recommendation for dinner and close to the Camino route.

Really lovely accommodation and very handy for starting the Camino in the morning. Very nice spacious room and a beautiful terrace with stunning views. Spotlessly clean and very peaceful for a good night's rest after a very exhausting day.

Beautifully maintained and cared for spot, 10 minute walk from the lovely historical village of Combarro. Fran is the perfect host. We were sad to leave and will definitely come back. Delicious breakfast display as well. Clean pool and manicured pool area. Very nice size room, comfortable and clean.

The property was an excellent stop for us on the Camino Portuguese the location was excellent The hotel Was very well maintained and extremely clean . The rooms were very good size and d Bathroom and Shower was excellent lots of hot water which is extremely gratifying after a long day walking. The breakfast was more than expected and the staff opened the coffee shop early so we could have coffee before breakfast .

We stayed in the hotel 2 years ago and it was superb. The management have continued to improve the standing of the hotel with an obvious refurbishment programme. This stay was again faultless, the staff go beyond their working hours to make your stay comfortable. We were attending the World Triathlon championships and they provided a full breakfast for participants at 0530 (three hours before normal breakfast hours) - we only wanted cereals, but they provided everything - it was amazing. The pool was clean and the surrounding garden idyllic. The rooms are spacious and wardrobes large enough to store clothes. A benefit they provide for cyclists is a secure bike storage and off road secure parking. We will again be booking for our stay next year, a little gem. The management also negotiated good rates for taxi's around the local area and to the various airports.

Location was great for exploring nearby town, staff welcoming and helpful, wonderful rest while walking the spiritual variant of the Camino. Had an amazing breakfast there before starting the next day hike, well fueled with delicious fruit and pastries! Owner takes great pride in his hotel asking how we liked it, very kind and welcoming. Pool was an oasis!

The view from our room at the front of the hotel was exceptional with only a narrow, quiet road between us and the beach. The receptionist, Susanna, was helpful to a fault. O Recuncho de Lolo - Lolo’s Corner -, the bar and restaurant below the rooms is under separate management but offers good, simple food served with love at reasonable prices. Even with the few noted dislikes, this is a special place. Visit and enjoy!

We couldn't have made a better choice than staying at Hotel Marea and choosing a sea view room - waking up to the sounds of the waves and going for walks on the beautiful sea-side path were highlights of our travels around Galicia. Hotel was extremely clean, and little details like coffee and snacks in the room made a difference. Comfortable beds, kind staff, and an amazing local restaurant right below the hotel. We can't wait to come back!

Rooms are right over the water with small balcony and the sound of the waves. Great location. Low season so we're able to park right on the property. The owner insisted on helping us carry our bags up. Low seasob so the restaurant downstairs was not open but supposed to be very good. Several restaurants near by at Marina but close @2 for lunch so ate downtown at Orange not fancy but great meal for a great price right next to museum. Old Town nice walk. Central museum downtown free and good collection of mostly Spanish artists. Central fish market great lots of action but get there early winds down by 1 pm. Room was great great beds. Bathroom all tiled with great tub and plenty of glacial blue hot water.

It was quite a last minute booking at the Hotel Marea, but in the end it was one of the best of our trip to Galicia, if not the best. The Hotel is right by the sea, near a small beach, in a very quiet and beautiful environment. Our room was big, perfectly clean, everything was fine and new, the bed was comfortable and we slept very well. The check in was very easy and quick, the staff were very friendly (as always in Galicia). We could easily park the car on the road by the sea free of charge.

The hotel is in a quiet location in the countryside just outside Ponteverdra. The room was clean and comfortable and was ideal for our 3 nights stay. The hotel staff were very friendly , helpful, and attentive. The breakfast was excellent, as was the food in the restaurant and all in all the stay was fantastic value for money. Would certainly stay here again if in the area..

This is a really beautiful high-class rural hotel. The room and private bathroom were very clean and comfortable. There was a pleasant private terrace with table and chair, facing a beautiful and wide garden and landscape. There’s also a very nice restaurant in the hotel and if you prefer, there’s one more restaurant a few meters away. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. A real feeling of luxury.

I recommend wholeheartedly Hotel Piramide. Everything was perfect: delicious breakfast (a wide variety buffet), super clean and comfortable room with a seaview, kind staff always ready to help. The location of Piramide is amazing: a few steps from hotel there is a litoral path alongside the coastline, Praia Paxarinas and Praia a Lanzada can be easily reached by car. You can't be bored there even if it rains :) We will definitely come back.

The staff were exceptional and helpful. It’s located close enough to walk to towns but quiet with ocean views and the sound of the seas. Loved the terraces and pool with ocean views too. Beautifully updated and modern.

It should be classified as more than a 2 stars! The facilities are great, everything was really clean, the sunset views were amazing and the playground for the kids was enjoyable.

Great hotel with incredibly friendly staff who made us feel at home. The rooms and hotel was spotless, evening buffet meal was huge and it's only a stones throw to a couple of beaches. Evening entertainment was a bit noisy but finished relatively early. Fully recommend the Piramide.

They have an outside pool, and inside pool (for which you have to book and pay 2€/person), a trampoline and a game room. We had the inside pool for ourselves, it was spectacular. The outside is beautiful, it's a peaceful place and the inside is also very nice. They gave us rooms with view to the beach, which were comfortable and clean clean clean. It's very close to the beach (maybe 5 min walking) so it's really a good choice. The staff was lovely, especially the ones from the bar. They would give us complimentary cookies when we ordered coffee, my favourite was a Biscuit Galicia ChocoCelta, which had soft chocolate inside. I wish I had taken more pictures, but I was really immersed in the experience, I really had an amazing time there - I even loved the colorful glass lamps they had in the rooms that lead to the inside pool. Overall, a really lovely experience and would like to return for sure in the summer.

This was an overnight stop over for us between two other locations but we spent a lovely afternoon / evening on the local beach with the kids, which was lovely. The room was lovely and just what we had expected. Its was clean and well appointed with a small kitchen for cooking if you so wished. There was a pool area but we didn't use it as it was fairly windy and raining in the evening - standard for this time of year in this part of the world! Lots a parking for our rental. Reception staff were helpful and explained everything for us and the waiter at breakfast couldn't be more helpful. Excellent service.

This was our most expensive accommodation on the Camino Portuguese by a long shot but absolutely worth it. You really get what you pay for.

Pousada Armenteira is a surprising and welcome break after long day on the Camino. The building was clearly designed by an architect with a lot of ambition. The building is designed with stark, clean lines using local marble slabs. We kept asking ourselves: why here and why this? But enjoyed it anyway. The room we had was great with super comfy beds, a little terrace/garden and a hidden bath tub under the shower. The hotel does not offer restaurant services (the O Comercio bar is your only option for dinner in town) but the breakfast buffet was great. We loved it

Amazing property from an architectural and artistic standpoint. Extensive common areas for private conversations and small groups that are artfully presented. Sculpture is presented throughout the property, but actually even the light fixtures in the common areas are art. Rooms are spacious with granite and warm woods. Comfortable beds. Staff very helpful. Breakfast very nice. Close to a restaurant and bar with very good food. This was a wonderful experience after a long day hiking on the Camino. We were treated with warm hospitality that was genuine.

Gorgeous modern building, looks like a Danish museum. The pool was chilly but a refreshing and lovely end to a long hiking day. Shower temperatures and pressure were great, and we slept well in a comfortable bed with blackout curtains. Loved that our room opened onto a nice grassy patio; overall the hotel fits seamlessly into the surrounding nature with smart architecture and lovely dark wood. Breakfast was luxe and great quality. Really appreciated the Nespresso machines at breakfast and in the lobby too. Staff at the front desk extremely friendly and professional, really made us feel welcome.

The breakfast was super and all the staff were very efficient. There are several seating areas including a sun terrace. This terrace has a lovely view and the area becomes a bar during the evenings.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel which was very conveniently located with lovely views across to La Toja island. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was a generous buffet. The receptionist spoke good English and was very friendly and keen to recommend places to see and visit - all of her recommendations were spot on - she also took a genuine interest in ensuring that we were enjoying our stay. Highly recommended!

The stuff are very considerate to help me change a bigger room when it availabe. They help me solve the electricity charge problem. When I left early in the morning, the young person prepare breakfirst for me. It is convenient both to the La Toja island and to town for food. Nice view for the beach view if you can have a room facing that.

Went for a business trip. The room was very spacious and clean, the staff was very helpful for all the necessities I had (they speak English), and the price was competitive. The hotel was great also for amenities (renting a bike was possible) and for the breakfast.

The fabulous breakfast had a lot of variety and catered for all. There were lots of healthy options also. The homemade orange cake and homemade yoghurt were delicious and not too sweet. I would 100% recommend this lovely hotel.

Excelkent value for money with a really good breakfast included (home made yoghurt and cake and fresh fruit which was lovely). The proprietors were helpful and friendly. Perfect location in the town of Combado. Comfortable, clean and spacious rooms; great breakfast and the most friendly staff. It would be hard to find better value for money!

The location is right in the city centre where the town hall is and close to taxi and bus station. The hotel is 5 minutes away walking distance from all the main restaurants and the old placa Ferfinans. It is a bit further away from the old part of the town and the city ruin but you can easily take a 10minutes walk there. The host was very very nice and she made our stay feel very homelike, serving us breakfast every morning and paying attention to pie needs (more and more coffee). The best was the homemade biscuit cake served as a generous portion individually per table every morning. The breakfast area had fresh fruits and bread and toast as well as yoghurt and cornflakes. We didn’t ask for any cooked meals as it already had plenty of options. We had to boon an extra night and although we booked a different room, we asked to eventually stay in the same room as we had a trip planned to the islands and it was more convenient that way which she facilitated for us. We had our room cleaned and beds done every day which was nice to come back to after a long day out.

This was excellent value for the money , 3 minutes walks to most of the bars and restaurants. Was very clean and comfortable and the staff were brilliant. Highly recommend

Located in a very convenient residential area, 5 minutes walk back from the busy centre of O Grove, so quieter but still very easy to get to where it's all happening. Plenty of free parking reserved for guests as well. For breakfast: coffee, orange, cake and a choice from a breakfast menu is served to you in the restaurant. All very relaxed and good quality. The hotel itself is very beautiful, well located and very comfortable rooms. The rooms are named after the name of beaches around the area. We visited the beach that named our room and it was amazing. But the real gem of the hotel is the family who run the business, all the 3 sisters and the parents are amazing and nothing is too much trouble for them. Our stay was very relaxed, the feeling of being on holidays was a proper one. Facilities were very nice and attention to detail a plus. I was very happy and impressed for having a hairdryer with difusor (curly hair girls would understand). It is the first hotel I stayed in that has it and made me so happy. This was a planned stay in OGrove for the last weekend of the Fiesta de Mariscos. Location was important along with private parking. Both were perfect. The hotel which is a relatively new enterprise prides itself on family ownership, and the whole family could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We were taken with the breakfast arrangement, whereby your needs were met from a brief but varied menu, avoiding the waste that often occurs with the ubiquitous "buffet style". Hotel Boutique Vilavella has set the standards bar to a height that others in O Grove will find hard to match. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

This a new, very modern and handsome boutique hotel, family run by three sisters with their mother in the kitchen. It had only been open a month or so when we were there. Breakfast is cooked to order, beds comfortable, and the port of O Grove and restaurants just a stroll away. You need a car to visit most of the many gorgeous beaches on the peninsula. Lovely stay. I wish we could have had a few more days here.

What a super find in Caldas de Reis. Just perfect after a long Camiño walk. The staff were friendly and efficient and recognised our need to quickly get into our room to take off our walking shoes and wash off the dust of the Camino trail. Room was spotless and beautiful. We had a bath and shower. We had not ordered breakfast in advance but went to a nearby cafe. Go to this place, you will not be disappointed

We loved that this charming hotel was right on the Camino! No extra walking and navigating! We received a warm welcome from the smiling staff upon our arrival. Check-in was very easy and quick. We were wonderfully surprised at how spacious our bathroom and bedroom were! It was so nice to have a huge tub to soak in after many days of walking and the very thoughtful Coldl Gel for tired muscles. The giant windows on our 3rd floor room which faced the Camino were easy to open for fresh air and sunshine. The room darkening curtains and comfy big bed made for a good night's sleep.. After we set our things in our room, we hit the lounge chairs by the pool to enjoy a drink. So comfy and quiet we fell asleep for a bit! The staff suggested we experience the hot springs and the botanical garden so we took a nice late afternoon stroll. We also attended evening Mass at St. Thomas, just a few minutes away on foot from the hotel. The hotel bar was still open after we had dinner so we enjoyed a nightcap and in the morning, my husband enjoyed their special breakfast bread and I was lucky to have some gluten free options. Definitely a lovely place for a restful night on the Camino.

This newly opened boutique hotel is very convenient right on the Camino, steps from the Roman bridge on a pedestrian street. Modern and attractively decorated throughout, guest rooms are tastefully appointed, vey comfortable with nice amenities. The light snack bar for lunch/dinner and breakfast area are very adequate. Staff and hostesses were attentive and friendly. I would return again for a longer stay.

This hotel is such a treat mid Camino, Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Food is delicious, the avocado toast is amazing! Breakfast was excellent before setting out to walk. Pool is such a treat in the garden it’s a gorgeous afternoon sun trap. Towels are so luxurious. Very comfortable bed, shower and bath are both great.

Clean updated rooms. Very good restaurant below. Clean laundromat across the street. Surprisingly quiet. Updated bathroom. Kind staff. Plenty of free, off street parking. Comfortable bed. We had a street-facing window, however the nighttime noise could not be heard as there are two sliding glass windows and a wooden cover we could use to keep noise and sun out.

The rooms were extremely spacious with a wonderful large bathroom and it was all immaculately clean. It was a large hotel so less of a personal touch but the staff were friendly and helpful. Although not bang in the centre of Cambados, it was only a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute cycle ride so quite convenient.

An old stately hotel which has converted well to modern times. Swimming pool and sun loungers in the garden. Nice room with lots of light. Breakfast buffet style is tasty (but severly supervised). We could park our bicycle in the pantry in the cellar. Town centre on walking distance.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Located ~10 miles from Pontevedra with a view of the mouth of the Ria De Pontevedra, I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant stay!

Buen hotel en relación al precio; solamente para viajeros con coche porque está en una zona apartada. El principal problema es que el aparcamiento (que está incluido en el precio) es tan pequeño que enseguida se llena y en la zona, al ser un monte, es difícil aparcar. El desayuno buffet es variado: cereales, yogur, fruta, bollería, pan, embutido, queso, café... aunque el zumo es malo, algo fijo en casi cualquier hotel.

All staff I came to contact with were extremely friendly. We were blessed to have the place to ourselves so we made use of all the facilities without any hesitation. Poolside and outdoor sports facilities, children playground were perfect for my children during daytime. In evening we made the most of the indoor play room which is equipped with loads of games and toys and books. After putting children to sleep I even ventured in the gym. Perfect little stay, felt bit too short for me, would definitely return and stay longer. Location wise I would say a car is necessary but since I had one then villages and shops are easily accessible.

This place was a complete and positive surprise. It is a beautiful hotel with a good restaurant, impeccable service, and well-maintained.

El hotel es precioso. La piscina es grande, tiene sillas para acostarse a tomar el sol y otras sillas en la sombra también para recostarse a descansar. Al lado de la piscina hay mesas para sentarse a tomar algo o hablar. El restaurante se ve muy bien. El apartamento ESPECTACULAR muy bonito, todo hecho con muy buen gusto. El baño precioso y la ducha EXCELENTE. La cocina con todo lo necesario para cocinar. La cama muy cómoda y las almohadas tal como nos gustan. Salimos a conocer y está muy cerca de playas preciosas. En unos minutos estás en Cambados o Sanxenxo y también en O Grove. LO RECOMENDAMOS , NO SE LO PIERDAN.

We were looking for a place to stay in Galicia for a week to unwind after a previously hectic week attending some friends’ wedding celebrations in the province. Hostal San Roque and Portonovo didn’t disappoint! Our room was at the rear of the building with the advantage of a super spacious terrace which caught the evening sun. The shower was powerful and the toilet has an excellent flush. The simple continental breakfast was plentiful and more than adequate for setting you up for the day, also the individually machine brewed coffee was a treat. The staff were so friendly and helpful despite the language barrier! They went out of their way to help with all our requests including lending us a beach chair as we travelling without a car, which we supplemented with a parasol from the handy nearby Casa China. We loved the local beach which was 5 minutes’ walk away. It’s a pretty bay with a sandy beach gently sloping into the sea and didn’t have too many waves so it was great for swimming. The Hostal is located handily for all the bars and restaurants of Portonovo and we had some excellent meals out - in particular we liked O Buras and Bodega Julio.
