Spacious apartment, family friendly, spotlessly clean, and well maintained. Friendly staff. Lovely indoor and outdoor pool. Apartment cleaned daily. Family fun activities during the day and some nights. Nice breakfast. Amazing cocktails. This was our 3rd time in vitors, travelling as a family of 7, 4 adults (parents and grandparents) and 3 children. We especially love all the daytime games with Ru! We have just returned home and are already planning our visit for next year.

This is my 3rd time staying at Vitor Plaza and as always it was fantastic. The staff are amazing, friendly, always ready to help. The accommodation is immaculate and facilities are brilliant. It's location is not near the beach, the nearest beach is about 20/25mins walk(Pra de Vau) but there's a courtesy bus which leaves at 10am daily that has you at Pra De Rocha Beach in 10 mins. It's an ideal location if you want a quiet and less crowded place to stay. We used Uber for getting to places which was very efficient and economical. The Aqua shopping centre in Portamio is about 10/12 mins by Uber. There's a fabulous bakery/cafe(Mel & Camela) within walking distance(5/7mins) and there's a large supermarket (Intermarche) about 12 mins walk from the hotel. It has everything you'd need for self catering.

Perfect for families. Lots of amenities - pools, pool bar, supermarket, clothes washing facilities and gym on site. Rooms were very spacious and kitchenette/balcony were great as we had to spend a lot of time around the apartment when baby was napping. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. We had a great stay.

The employees are extremely helpful and friendly which made a difference in our stay. We liked the facilities in general. The apartment was spacious for a family with a baby and everything we asked was provided for our stay such as a baby crib and a highchair. We had dinner and breakfast included and the meals were very tasty and with great service. We would recommend this property for a stay with family.

First I want to say: Thank you Jupiter Algarve Hotel for a really nice stay. Jupiter Algarve Hotel is located alongside the Rocha Beach, which is a lovely, very clean beach. We booked a double room with a front sea view and the balcony, breakfast included. Our room was upgraded to the higher floor room as I requested with no extra charge. We got 10% voucher to use in the hotel restaurant and SPA . The room was beautiful with the coffee machine, the kettle and the free coffee pods and the tea bags. The balcony was good sized, sea view was exceptional. The room and bathroom were very clean, bed was comfortable. We got the free access to the outdoor heated pool. We are vegetarian and we don’t eat fish as well, but we have not been disappointed at the breakfast buffet. We had a plenty of choices. We also had a dinner twice in the evening at the hotel restaurant. It was in the form of buffet as well. The selection of food suitable for us was really good. Everything was fresh and tasty. Staff in all hotel was really nice, friendly and helpful.

I had already been a guest at the Jupiter Algarve Hotel in July 2016, and I held onto wonderful memories of my vacation. I returned with great pleasure, and my second stay not only met my expectations but even exceeded them: I found the hotel had improved even further. Strengths: Location and View: The location is simply magnificent, just a stone's throw from the sea. The view from the room terraces is spectacular and offers moments of pure relaxation. Property and Accessibility: The interiors are bright, well-maintained, and beautifully designed. A special mention goes to the complete absence of architectural barriers, both in the common areas and in the rooms—a crucial detail that makes the stay comfortable for everyone. Service and Dining: All the staff proved to be efficient, attentive, and consistently friendly. The quality of the products is excellent, both at breakfast, with its wide and tasty selection, and at the bar. Rooms: In addition to the breathtaking view, the perfect soundproofing of the rooms is noteworthy, ensuring absolute and quality rest. In conclusion, I can only highly recommend this hotel. It is the perfect choice for anyone looking for comfort, quality, and an enviable location in the Algarve. I hope to return soon!

Just returned from a lovely stay. We were on the 7th floor with a side sea view. The hotel is in a great location close to shops, restaurants and bars. Not far from the beach. We stayed half board plus, we especially liked the fresh orange juice and the Portuguese tarts at breakfast. The dinner had a great selection of choices. I always found something to have and enjoyed everything i tried. A big shout out to Sergio that showed us to our table he always gave us a laugh. Liked the idea of the drinks with dinner included, the waiters asked if you wanted another, i loved the rose wine forgot to get the name if it before left. I enjoyed the cocktails they were reasonably priced . A big shout out to Marcelo in the bar he makes an amazing mojito. We really enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend the hotel.

The word most often used on my holiday this year was Outstanding. I absolutely love PDR I have been going for 20 years, I know it’s not to everyone’s tastes some people find it too quiet, some go wrong time of the year and it’s too busy and others don’t like being asked if they want to buy weed every day. I get all of that. For us we travel either in April, September and/or October and everything is just right. The Jupiter is a really great hotel, it’s spotless. The staff from Reception, Pool Bar, Restaurant and Housekeeping are all friendly and professional. Our personal favourites are Marcello and Gina in the bar. Hotel is very comfortable if there was to be any criticism and it’s only minor having an additional lift for times when restaurant is busy would be ideal. Entertainment in evening could be better, have some decent singers/Karaoke/Bingo would be top class I’d probably never leave the hotel. As well as Jupiter a few other places/people I’d like to call out for excellent food/service and just being a great part of our holiday: Hose and Cara @ Croke Park Alex @ Hollywood The wee Indian restaurant at Santander it’s a hidden gem. Terazza the starters OMG!! All the other guests who just make this a fantastic place to holiday. Can’t wait to return in 2026.

Excellent hotel: comfortable, welcoming, friendly, great food, terrific breakfast, good facilities, lovely staff. The receptionist greeted us with a smile, lots of useful info & gave us a lovely room with sea view. Rooms are spacious, clean, comfy & well equipped. We were very pleased with our stay at da Roche. Friendly, helpful staff with a nice modern,clean room. We had a street side, Seaview room, which was great to come back to late afternoon and sit on the balcony in the sun with a beer watching the world below. In the evenings, we did the same after a night out and enjoyed the music from the hotel opposite, not too intrusive. The pool area was nice, although you lost the sun mid afternoon as its enclosed by other buildings, so we went on our balcony for an hour or so. Excellent proximity to the beach and the seafront with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Restaurants to check out for fish and local Portuguese cuisine are restaurants Adris, Cafe del Mar, marisqruira Coral, vinhos and comidas, and the excellent Squash restaurant . Special mention to Gonzales and Alex for helping me out with the electric charging point in the underground car park, although operational instructions would have been useful in other languages, particularly English. Slight niggles were the pool side bar not regularly attended and when it was staff were very noisy in there work ,only 'ninja ' David was a stealth worker. And when we needed missing tea bags and a Cork screw ,I had to collect. Otherwise, I'll be charged for 'Room service '. When I went to collect ,4 members of staff were just hanging around, a bit annoying. However, a great hotel, great position, definitely recommend! Thanks, Da Rocha team!

Had a wonderful week staying here. Hotel was fabulous. We has a side sea view - Sunset Suite; on 7th floor; the view was just lovely; clear balcony wall meant full view even if sitting; it got the sun in afternoon. Great view for some people watching of folk walking through town and nice buildings on front + beach/sea/coast. (although if very fearful of heights might not be ideal). Room was a good size; loads of space. Bed was the comfiest have been in for long time! + the biggest. Perfect location - literally across the road from walkway to beach. (road not difficult to cross - one way system) The Main Street/strip was just minutes walk away; but we weren't bothered with any noise from that area. Breakfast was fabulous!! We also left early on our last day and got a packed takeaway breakfast (sandwiches/apple/carton of juice; which was great). Pool area is small but nice size for a dip. Overlooked by rooms. Gym area - was ok; quite basic; quite warm; air conditioning would help & near the parking area as downstairs and could smell car fumes at times. Overall had fabulous week and would recommend.

Highly recommend! A hotel with an ideal location – literally right on the beach. Plenty of great restaurants and many lovely cafés in the area. The breakfast was absolutely excellent and very diverse, offering outstanding quality. Rooms are large, very clean, and serviced daily, and also included a small kitchenette which was perfectly equipped with everything needed for a short stay. Tip: It's worth getting a higher floor (we got 6th floor)! We had a side ocean view from the terrace, and drinking coffee with that view was pure pleasure! The Staff is very kind and helpful. The price is affordable considering the excellent standard offered. We also used the parking, which was a great convenience. We will definitely be back here!

Rooms are very comfortable with great facilities and sizeable bathrooms. A good buffet breakfast served each morning, although very limited selection of items so it did become repetitive. We also had a spacious balcony with a sea view, and a top floor room which was quiet and peaceful during the evenings, ideal for a relaxing family holiday.

Location is excellent - 10min or less to all amenities, restaurnts,, bars and beaches. Excellent hotel, in an excellent location close to beautiful sandy beaches under the cliffs. We were very happy with our choice of hotel. The hotel is modern, with a pool for adults and a pool for children. It is in a quiet location with beautiful sea views. The room with balcony was modern with comfortable beds. The staff was very helpful. Excellent breakfast with a great choice of food for everyone. Free parking at the hotel or in the hotel garage is a plus.

The structure is brand new, beautiful pool, pool bar, big rooms (even the standard ones) with sea view. You just cross the road and you’re to the beach, with all the restaurants, bars and other entertainment venues. Also, there’s some musical entertainment during the day and two nights per week in the hotel, but it’s not so popular among guests and therefore it comes to be a bit sad. They give towels for the pool, free coffee (nest cafe) and tea in the room. For 25€ per person you can eat at a buffet. Quality is not that good, but it’s a honest price for an honest dinner with plenty of choice between main courses, pastas, salads and desserts. Note that no beverage is included.

It is very central but very quiet. You have everything in your periphery, the beach, the restaurants, the shop and the clubs. The room was surprisingly big and i got fresh towels and linens everyday.

The hotel is very cozy, well-maintained, has excellent silent location just in a few min from Praia do Vau and a few min from food stores and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and pleasant, the outdoor pool is clean and has a charming area, the indoor one with jacuzzi we didn’t check (the hats are required and if you don’t have one you may buy at the reception), the breakfasts are one of the best I have ever had in hotels (the food is very delicious and every day there are some small changes, therefore I didn’t get bored), moreover you may include dinners for an additional price or simply cook at your room which has a well-equipped kitchen and all the kitchenware you may need. One more thing that I liked is that the hotel provides guests with robes, which are very useful for the swimming pools and just for staying comfortable in the rooms.

We were a day late due to a cancelled flight but reception staff were easy to contact and stayed in touch with us throughout- Brilliant 24hr reception staff (they also helped us with an extra pillow and Landry service). The bar man Francisco was obviously a very experienced bar man and made delicious cocktails. Would highly recommended the pink gin fizz. The breakfast staff were very attentive and kept all the food fresh and well stocked. The property was clean and the kitchen meant we could have lunch on the balcony after a morning on the beach. Lastly the room was very comfortable - lovely big bed and temp could be controlled in the room so we slept well every night.

19/26-Apr-2024 - Spacious junior suite with sufficient chairs, spacious balcony from where the ocean was visible, proper breakfast, good public parking, quiet area, close to the ocean (15 min's walk) and surrounded by some waste land. Kitchenette equipped sufficiently (one big and one small cooking plate), allowing to cook a simple meal when tempted by the rich choice of meat and fresh fish in the bigger supermarkets. We can recommend the “big” Intermarché at Alvor which is easier accessible than the centre of Portimão. Our daughter of 13 liked the indoor swimming pool; The outside pool was a bit too cold in April.

Breakfast exceeds expextations, there is everything you can think of, including healthy food. Balcon view was on the garden with birds and even a rabbit and a sea - perfect. Staff very friendly and willing to help. Room was spacious, we had a bath and a kitchen with all facilities to cook comfortably. Indoor pool is great for windy weather. You need a shower cap to use it, but staff can provide it. We enjoyed our stay fully, very beautiful place and perfect hotel!

The breakfast and the dinner buffet were outstandig with superbe quality and very tasty food thanks to the chef Anna. Our junior suite was very spacious and functional. The balcony had a nice panaramic see view.

The outdoor pool was lovely but due to the weather we only spent 2 afternoons there but indoor pool was a treasure. It was so relaxing and pleasantly warm. The environment of the apartments was relaxing and quiet. The apartments are situated approx 10 minutes either was from Praia de Rocha and Portimao. Super market close by and a lovely coffee shop across the road.

We stayed in a modern and spacious self-serviced apartment, with friendly and helpful front office and housekeeping staff. The outdoor pool and indoor gym were great amenities that perfectly suited our need for relaxing workouts. The large terrace overlooking the marina and Ferragudo town offered a peaceful and scenic spot to unwind. We also appreciated the touch of luxury with the Rituals toiletries provided. The location was excellent—just a short walk to the beach, supermarket, and a good selection of restaurants. A special thank you to Gustavo, Ines, Nelson, and Kim for your assistance throughout our stay!

From arrival to departure everything was fabulous. Beautiful apartment very spacious with everything you need. The bed was so comfy. All toiletries supplied , cleaning staff everyday. The pool & garden area are beautiful & very tranquil. Views from the terrace were lovely. The location is perfect . 10 min walk to the beach & bars/restaurants. A little cafe & small supermarket within a 2 min walk. An Uber to alvor was only €7 We will def be back. The staff were very helpful & friendly.

I really enjoyed the outdoor pool, and the spa area. Staff were very polite, welcoming, helpful and professional. My apartment was spacious and had a lovely balcony. It’s a short walk to Praia beach where they are many restaurants and bars. Close by there are also very good coffee shops (La Parissiene 5⭐️) and a supermarket (great for supplies) The apartment kitchen had everything I needed for preparing breakfast/ snacks.

Super clean, modern and spacious apartment with everything you need. Great pool area and small gym with new equipment, basic but enough to get a good workout in. Underground parking too as well as parking on the street right outside which is where we parked our whole stay easily enough. Small supermarket within 5 minutes walk open monday - Saturday. Shop, restaurants and the beach are a 15 minute walk which was perfect too as the apartment is in a quiet area. The staff were great and are available on whatsapp for any issues you may have. I would definitely recommend and i would stay again as the price is amazing for what you get.

We had a great experience staying at RR Amarilis in Praia da Rocha. From the moment we arrived, the reception team gave us a warm welcome and made us feel right at home. Throughout our stay, the staff were friendly, attentive, and always available whenever we needed anything. Our apartment was spacious, clean, and very comfortable – exactly what we were hoping for. It had everything we needed to relax after busy days, and we appreciated the quiet atmosphere in the building. The location was ideal for us. It was close to both the event we were attending and the beach, which made everything super convenient. We also had a chance to enjoy the pool and the gym, both of which were clean and well maintained. Very helpful and professional staff, huge and very clean apartment (not the most modern rooms but you have everything you need), excellent selection of foods and drinks for diner, great pool and bar, easy parking, the reception is open non-stop which helped a lot since our flight was delayed, they even had sandwiches, fruits and water ready for us when we arrived just in case we were hungry (we missed dinner)

The choice of food was amazing. Everyday there were various dishes that we tasted. Location was a short walk to a very nice beach. The pool area was enjoyable , there was enough sun beds for us during the day. Pool was clean and well looked after. All the staff was amazing and easily answered any questions that we had. The room was clean and quite big. Did not use any of the kitchen equipment .

The studio was exceptionally clean, with daily housekeeping. Towels were replenished regularly, and extra pool towels were provided every two days. • The studio came with additional blankets and pillows, air conditioning, a TV, a fridge in the kitchenette, cutlery, glasses, bowls, a small table, a cute lamp, and a sofa. • The balcony was large and perfect for enjoying snacks, equipped with a mop and a drying rack. • Pools were spacious and well-maintained: one for children and a larger one for adults, which older kids also enjoyed. Pool staff provided swim noodles and balls for children, and the pool bar served food, drinks, and snacks, with seating available. • Kids’ facilities included a kids’ club, football field, playground, and mini-golf, though we didn’t use all of them. • The studio’s 2nd-floor location was quiet, ideal for restful nights. • Afternoon room cleaning was convenient when returning from the pool or outdoor activities. • The bathroom was very clean and maintained daily.

The courteous and helpful reception desk staff made my late midnight check in stress free. The pool area is lovely and my apartment studio was very spacious with comfortable bed and mini kitchen, great bathroom too with bidet. I also had a beautiful view at the front of the hotel. A really lovely and much recommended stay. I used the on site restaurant for dinner one evening lovely staff and the set 3 course meal with one glass of wine included 25 euros. The wifi works throughout the hotel and never dropped out from my studio throughout the whole complex.

We were very happy with our stay here. We had a two-bedroom apartment, there were 5 of us, 3 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room. We had a very spacious room with a huge balcony overlooking the pool. It was very clean and liked the extra shampoo etc that was refilled regularly. Towels changed regularly too but the room was not mopped or swept during cleaning. There was equipment to do it ourselves though. Upon arrival we were asked to pay a deposit of 100, we were not informed of this beforehand so be aware, we got it back with no problem though. The pool area is great, with loads of beds and space in early June, the only disappointment was no kids club or pool bar till June 15th which we had not been informed of either. The staff everywhere were so helpful and any problems or questions were dealt with efficiently and with a smile. The location is great, you can walk to a beach which has a few restaurants at it, a 3.50 taxi to Praia de Rocha or Alvor, and a 10 min walk to the Intermarche. We have stayed in many places in the Algarve and I would definitely return here.

Spacious and clean apartment. Air conditioners in both rooms. Large terrace-balcony. They provide extra towels free of charge for the pool. The pool is clean and quite large. There were enough sunbeds, and we always found a place to relax. The hotel lobby is very beautiful. During dinner, a wonderful band was playing live music. Very clean. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and you have so many options. Convenient location. Few minutes walk to mini Market, bus stops, and about 6 min walk to train station or 18 min walk to bus station. Bed was comfy. Located in a safe area two streets away from a market area where there's plenty of shopping and town events held.

Our room was for three guests, the room was clean, 3 separate beds, very comfortable mattresses and pad, air conditioning worked great, the room was quiet and dark at night. There were enough towels in the bathroom, everything was clean, the water pressure in the shower was excellent, there was also a hairdryer, soap and shampoo 3in1. Returning customer here. Made Inn stays my No 1 choice in Portimao. It is close to both, train and bus stations, all the shops and restaurants. It is always spotless clean and the staff is very helpful. If you are looking for super comfort, this may not be for you. But if you need a clean and safe place from where you can easily move around the Western Algarve without a car, this is your place.

Fairly modern hotel, with nice and spacious rooms equipped with all the necessary amenities. Tasty and fresh breakfast. Good location in the city centre. Helpful and polite hotel staff.

Nice hotel for one night stop over to watch Tour of Algarve. Easy walk from the train station in an area that felt nice and safe (I am a solo female traveller) Room was good, bed comfy, bathroom all good. Self selection breakfast had everything I needed. Staff were friendly and stored my bag during the day and I collected it later in the afternoon to catch the bus to my next destination. Couldn't have gone better. Nice reception staff even let me charge my phone in the lobby after I picked up my bag. Would stay again

The bed was comfortable. It provides you the pool and jacuzzi from the hotel. The receptionist very kind. We'll repeat for sure.

The apartment was fresh looking and clean. The balcony was great. Stayed in Mirachoro III so 30 second walk to the pool, however this was great as it was quieter than having a balcony near the pool and was more private. The staff were exceptional, extremely friendly and polite. Mostly downhill walk into town all with pavements/sidewalk so safe. 30 minute walk downhill to the marina area or 3.65 euros in a Bolt. Would say the location was ideal.

El alojamiento está bien en relación al precio. Sólo que había todtadora pero pedimos una cafetera y no nos la dejaron, asi que no pudimos desayunar en el apartamento. Unos 20 minutos caminando al centro por una parte del pueblo sun ninguna animación. Lo mejor la soepresa del jacuzzi abajo. Y lo peor la terraza, que daba a un parking y a un edificio en obras.

Really lovely receptionist, he dealt with everything efficiently and with ease. Other staff we met, from the cleaners to the breakfast staff, were also very friendly. The hotel should be proud of it's welcoming staff. Incredibly helpful to have their free car park just across the road. Really lovely suite of three great rooms, with a kitchen area, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle, table and chairs; a lounge area with sofa's which double as beds, and a big TV; and a really large bathroom with good quality towels. Sadly, in the bedroom, there were twin beds on either side of the room which we weren't expecting. But we soon pushed those together!! Comfortable beds, very peaceful location, so we slept well. Breakfast was a little strange. I'm guessing the hotel wasn't that busy, and that we were two of only a few guests. Hence, we were given individual plates, with two rolls, one crossiant, one cake, meat, cheese, butter and jam. Plus a coffee was made for us. I'm guessing this is not normal practice. But it was all very nice and enjoyable. It is only a short walk from the hotel to the beach, and also, into town for the shops. We would stay here again as it is a great location, and the hotel is very nice.

I have visited and reviewed this hotel in 2023 and will visit again in Sept 2025. I am looking forward to another relaxing holiday in what I have found to be an ideal location with access to a beach and also the town of Portimao and the famous resort of Alvor. The hotel is clean ,the apartments are spacious ,and the staff are obliging and friendly.It provides ,in my view ,value for money ,good facilities ,a nice pool and a good bar and snack bar service. Being on holiday the staff of the bar are those I had the most contact with. A big thank you to Sonya ,Ali ,and Fatima Maria (hope I got that name right)for helping to make Sept.24 a most enjoyable holiday.

Lovely clean and friendly hotel, staff very helpful and would go out of their way to help especially Edwardo behind the bar. Yes the hotel is a good walk away from most things but 10-15 minutes walk would get you to the supermarkets Lidl aldi and the main shopping hall and about 15-20 minutes walk would get you to the main strip and beach. We walk a few times and was a steady easy walk but you can get a local taxi for 5-6 euros or uber for around 4 euros. Our room was cleaned ever day had everything you need for self catering and several English tv channels room also had free aircon. You can hire a safe which is located behind reception which was €40 for 2 weeks with a €30 deposit that you get back when you return the key. There is a cafe style bar called funky right next door which is reasonable but like wise is the hotel bar where a pint of lager is €3.50 and a large wine €2.50 . Question would we return? In a heart beat

This accommodation was great! Spacious apartment with 2 balcony areas- living room and bedroom-with a beautiful view of the sea. The view was stunning! The room was clean and suitable for my partner and I, we stayed for a week and felt right at home during our stay. The apartment was equipped with all kitchen utensils for people who were wanting to cook. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful and we also enjoyed the pool facilities that were available at Jardins da Rocha. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone, it was reasonably priced and a perfect location for what we needed. The strip is around a 5 minute walk from the hotel location with supermarkets and lots of restaurants nearby.

Myself and my partner stayed in this beautiful hotel for 5 nights in September. Location is amazing. Right next to the beach and 2 mins away from strip but very quiet where we were staying. The rooms were spacious and clean. Lively reception staff. Also straight across the road from a supermarket with fresh bakery which was perfect. The pool was a great size also with loads of comfy beds. I would totally recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay again.🥰

The hotel was easy to find and only 40 yards to the Praia da Rocha. It has a nice kitchen. The entire hotel is spotless clean especially the rooms. Two swimming heated pools are also on the property . We stayed there for three nights , we should have stayed six . There are many places to walk for food nearby.good WiFi. Friendly staff ! The location of this place is super. Beach and its view from a sea facing room is the best thing. No less than a picture. You have everything you need nearby. You get local bus 35. You get cab ofcourse. Tons of shops for shopping or renting things. Lots of eatery. Stationary shop - Pao Quente (not on google). Endless beach to walk around. Staff is friendly, available at your service. Mostly everything is there that makes your stay comfy.

The location was perfect, really near the beach and seafront, restaurants, shops including a very handy supermarket. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pool on site was a good extra though we didn't use it. Air con was essential. Parking space.

The location and views are amazing, literally across the street from the Praia da Rocha beach, with all facilities on hand (restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, etc). The property was very clean and well equipped, comfortable for a couple or a small family, with the plus of having AC in both the bedroom and living room. Balconies in both the living room and bedroom give an incredible view of the beach. Make sure to get a room on the higher floors, as the views are jaw dropping!

It is directly at the beach. It is also close to restaurants and bars. Price is good. The apartments are well equipped and clean. There is an outdoor swimming pool, WiFi,washing machine, iron, fridge, microwave, stove, coffee machine and plates. Towels are provided as well.

Located at the famous Tomás Cabreira strip, it is set in the Praia da Rocha district. Top location, next to shops bars and restaurants. Great view of the sea and the beach from the 6th floor, two balconies! The manager, Filipe ,was most courteous and very helpful. Had a wonderful time!

Being low season it was very quiet, there were some lovely walks, the beach was raked daily, the people were very pleasant and it was easy to get around by taxi. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were great and when the restaurant was open it was very good. We heartily recommend this hotel.

Pros: Property is at an excellent location 🙂 The beach is really good. We had an excellent time this summer. The property also has multiple swimming pools both outdoor and indoor. Indoor ones are warm and also has a Jacuzzi. Hotel staff was also very helpful. We truly enjoyed our 4 nights stay at Jardim de Vau. Cons: I had booked this property through Expedia but one small concern from my end was that our room didn't have washing machine. Rest all room seem to have it. Otherwise, everything was good 👍

Spacious room, clean, very good kitchen facilities, heating worked very well (was a little bit cold during our stay), on site shop was small and expensive but had pretty much most of what you need for a self catering holiday (bread, milk, eggs, snacks, cereal, cheeses, 5lt bottles of water etc.), if you don't mind a 30 min walk there is an Aldi and Lidl you could go to get things for cheaper. There is also a restaurant on site but we didn't eat in there so cannot comment on it. The water was too cold to go in the outdoor pool but it was very big so during summer this would be an advantage, the indoor pool again is quite big and there is also a jacuzzi which is nice but you have to wear a swimming cap while in the water. Gym consisted of 2 treadmills, 2 spin cycles, one multi machine which wasn't very good and no free weights, but being on holiday this was no issue at all. The beach is very nice and is only 2 minutes walk from the room, if you are going out late, after 19:00 I think, the gates at the back of the hotel that get direct access will be locked so you will have to walk round to get to the beach, but this is still less than 5 minutes. There is also quite a few English and American channels on the TVs, as well as French and German.

Stayed for 10 nights. We had a 2 bedroom sea view apartment which was massive! Travelled with our daughters (11 and 14) they shared the twin room and had the main bathroom to themselves as we had an en-suite in the main bedroom. Lovely balcony with fantastic view of the sea. The pool area was great, never a problem getting sunbeds even at 11am. They do not allow inflatables or ball games in the main pool. The restaurant and pool bar was good if not a bit over priced. The food is nice and very well presented. Daniel the manager was very welcoming and works extremely hard to make sure you are well looked after. Location The hotel is located right on the beach which is lovely. It’s about a 20 minutes walk into Praia de Rocha which is pretty lively without being a party town, it’s very family friendly with lots of restaurants and bars. Would recommend Bulli and Pute Italian and Casa de Rocha. We had one night in Alvor which is definately worth a visit, very good atmosphere in the evening with some amazing looking restaurants. We did not hire a car, used Uber for getting around, it’s only about £4.50 to get back from Praia de Rocha, and about £8 to Alvor, but we ended up walking back from Praia de Rocha most nights. Would definately recommend the hotel.

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 week stay at Jardim du Vau. I cannot fault the place - we stayed in a spacious 2 bedroom apartment in Black D on third floor with beautiful sea views . The apartment was so spacious , clean and comfortable with a large balcony with dining set & loungers . The kitchen had absolutely everything you could possibly need . The pool area is gorgeous , very chilled with a great pool bar and cafe open 11am-6pm. Pool is open 8am-8pm. They do great Pina Colada’s & there’s a cocktail of the day for€6. There’s direct access down to a lovely beach with several beachside restaurants . There’s a handy shop on site but Lidl is 8 mins away in an Uber for £3.50 so we stocked up there on food wine & beer . It’s about 20 min walk in to Praia de Rocha along the coast which is extremely lively with a ‘strip’ which was packed & very loud . We preferred to spend the evenings eating & drinking in Alvor in the other direction which is a 10 min maximum Uber drive away . Never waited more than 5 mins for an uber there or back and it’s a beautiful classy resort with fantastic seafood & Italian restaurants & great bars .

recently redecorated, fresh, large apartments. Very Comfortable. Good facilities (pools, small indoor pool and jacuzzi, outside and indoor restaurants. Can get a little noisy at night from staircase doors not having stopping mechanism and slamming but apart from that very good find and reasonably priced.

Very nice aparthotel, located just between Portimão and Alvor, 5 mins drive from all the local beaches and Portimão city centre. The double room was very tidy and spacious with plenty of storage space. The lounge was massive and very comfortable including sattelite TV, and a sofa bed that could accommodate two extra guests. Full equiped kitchen and large balcony. The common area were very nice and welcoming, large swimming pool, free gym, tennis court and play areas. Also has a nice bar and restaurant and staff were always friendly and welcoming. The only down side was the hot water cylinder that after two showers would take a while to heat the water again, but didn't affect our stay at all.

We enjoyed the apartment and the pool area. We never used the restaurant or bar as we always cooked our own fish and supplied our own wine. The area is very affordable for groceries, the market great and very economical for fresh fish and wonderful fruits and veggies, especially the big half green tomatoes (the most succulent tomatoes ever) and everything is central to the hotel. The kitchen could be better equipped but we got by ok we a few purchases ie: cheese grader. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Maria and Fatima. We are not able to access the rest of the survey as the site won't let us in. The place is clean but the beds are not comfortable. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay at Vitors.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for the first time for the first week of September '12. The apartment was for 2 but very spacious so could sleep 4. It had a small kitchen, large dining and seating area with sofa bed if needed, bathroom with bath and shower, bedroom with safe and large wardrobe space and a quaint balcony with table and chairs. The sheets were changed daily by the maids along with the towels and the room was generally kept spotless. All of the staff were very friendly and spoke very good English so there were never any communication difficulties, and the bar staff were especially friendly and chatty. The bar was brilliant, with food and drink at very reasonable prices and good quality, and entertainment was also provided most nights with bands, quizzes, etc which meant the bar was a popular place in the evenings. The facilities were good, with tennis courts and football along with the expected pools which were also all very clean and never overcrowded, with many sun-loungers around. It was set a good distance back from the road to make it very peaceful as well and with bars by both pools, relaxing was very easy! The beach and town of Praia da Rocha is a 5 minute walk away, with shops, clubs, bars, lots of stalls at night and a beautiful beach and no shortage of places to eat! Alvoor, a small fishing town was a 10 minute taxi ride away also and well worth visiting. Overall, Clube Vilarosa is fantastic and well worth the money and it's 3 star rating!

Arrived 4hrs before check-in time, however the receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. Offered room to change and store luggage and arranged for our room to be ready in a hour's time. Stayed self-catering and kitchen area was well equipped, although did need to buy washing up liquid and sponge. Room was serviced and bin emptied daily. There was a charge for use of room's safe but it was only 2.5 euros per day. 2 pool areas were quiet, with no scrambling for sun beds, although this may be different in peak season. Praia da Rocha a 10 min walk with wide choice of bars and restaurants and Portimao 15-20mins walk.

My superior studio was a spacious, clean apartment with a nice bathroom and a small kitchen. Good heating system and a decent sized balcony. All very quiet and safe. Staff were very helpful. Grounds were tidy. 10 minute walk to the main tourist strip.

We had a great time at Vilarosa. Nice and clean and great reception staff, Nuna was especially helpful. Always got beds around the pool and on the whole it was nice and quiet. Hotel bar is a little expensive compared to the rest of the town and we found the beds uncomfortable and pillows were less than useless but apart from that no complaints. The main restaurants and bars are only a 10 min stroll and they are all excellent.

We stayed in a superior 2 bedroom self-catering apartment, which had all facilities required, including coffee machine, teapot, microwave, pots, pans, crockery, corkscrew, wine glasses, chopping board, utensils. We just had to buy washing-up liquid and food. The apartment has a large living room/front door entrance wirh a separate kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom. The twin bedroom has a door leading to a patio area, as did the lounge. We had a large patio area with table, 4 chairs and 2 sun loungers. I would recommend Clube Vilarosa superior 2 bed apartments to families. It is worth paying a bit more for all the facilities for an enjoyable holiday. It was fairly quiet when we stayed in October. It is a ten to fifteen minute walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. A taxi costs only four to five euros each way. Most days we walked and returned by taxi.

The welcome at reception by Carla was amazing, she was super friendly and went out of her way to accommodate us and let us check in early. She also gave us extra key cards so we could get back in if we decided yo rerun separately. (We were a group of 5). The rooms was clean and tidy and good value for money. The hotel is right on the Main Street of bars so walking distance to everything. The room at the front had a sea view when booking sea views be mindful it is also directly above bars ( which we didn’t mind but others might) top tip if you want a quieter room ask for the courtyard view. Amazing location, amazing staff we would 100% stay here again. See you next time

I found the staff to be really lovely, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I didn't realise how loud it would be at night, until late. I actually got used to it but i wouldn't recommend to anyone who has an issue with noise at night! I would've felt better if i could just hear one bar playing music but there was a mash of 4 or 5 bars, so pretty incomprehensible. It's a great position for the beach and for cafes and restaurants, and if you like to get lost in the crowd.

Perfect location, comfortable and clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend and visit again.

The foyer/restuarant/bar/reception area all look as if they have had a recent refurbishment, and are clean and stylish. The pool was nice but a little small for the size of the hotel, loungers with shade were limited, however there was member of staff preventing people from reserving loungers with towels which was a plus and very much appreciated. There wasn't a pool bar as advertised, it seemed as if they were in the process of rebuilding it. It is about a 10/15 minute walk to the beach and strip, we managed to do it multiple times a day without struggle. It also benefits from having 3 major supermarket close by, all about a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute drive away. The hotel is on a main road so you do get some traffic noise, but it is away from the main strip so you do avoid any major disturbance. Overall its a good compromise if you are looking for a reasonably priced and pleasant holiday. You have a good sized apartment, indoor and outdoor pool, use of the gym, restaurant/bar and parking all available on site. The Praia de Rocha Beach is out of this world and is definitely worth being the focal point of your holiday.

We stayed in Oceano Atlantico for 6 nights. Overall it was very good but with a few negatives. Pros: Very modern stylish apartment with a decent balcony. Hotel was very clean and well maintained. It seemed to be one of the newer hotels in Portimao/Praia Da Rocha. Not that far from the beach - about a 15 min walk and Continente shopping centre about the same distance. Cons: We booked a non-smoking room but arrived to find that people had been smoking in the room, we requested to be moved but receptionist wasn't very helpful and said that no other rooms were available as the hotel was fully booked, this definitely wasn't the case as the hotel was nowhere near full from what we could tell. Hotel staff in general seemed a bit disinterested in customer service. Also, the bed was probably the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in, i could literally feel the springs digging into me. Luckily there were some matresses under the sofas which we put on the beds and this made them quite comfortable. The maid did come into the room every day to change the towels but didn't perform and substantial cleaning. Overall i would recommend the hotel and would stay again

It was a last minute booking and I am happy with it overall. Checking was at 4 pm rather than all day as advertised but Carlos was helpful got us checked in at 12 as we had 2 young children. Room was clean comfortable. Neared to beach and shops. Pool was a bit small and breakfast was average as there was not much choice. Not many cutlery. There was no exhaust in the bathroom but it didn't steam up so no problem. Staff were helpful and I would definitely stay again.

The location here is excellent. You are about 3 or 4 blocks from the beach and close to other amenities such as supermarkets to stock your apartment. The service here is very good and you can leave your luggage for a bit if needed, which I did. The apartment I had was very comfortable but a couple of things were a bit outdated, such as the shower but all else was very nice. The cafe and restaurant, of which I only had breakfast, were also well staffed and very pleasing.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel's reception, my family and I were greeted with the warmth and friendliness which is so typical of the Portuguese people. The reception staff can communicate in a variety of languages, which is always so helpful, especially for someone like myself who can only speak English. Our room had a view of the hotels gardens and pool, as well as an amazing view of the sea, the marina, typical Portuguese villages and towns across the water, boats, cruise liners in the port, sailing boats and yachts, fishing boats and other marine vessels. There is a small supermarket about a five minute walk from the hotel, where you can purchase most of your essential items at a reasonable price. The high street is about a 20 minute walk from the hotel, which is filled with bars, cafes, souvenir shops, restaurants, fine restaurants, as well as fast-food outlets. The nearest beach of Praia da Rocha, runs parallel to the high street and therefore is also a 20 minute walk from the hotel. Praia da Rocha is an amazing beach. I am a true beach-lover, a water-enthusiast and a sun-worshipper and so I do value a good beach, which Praia da Rocha definitely is. Not only would I recommend Vista Marina to friends and family, but I would indeed encourage people to stay at this wonderful hotel with excellent facilities and brilliant staff. Thank you to everyone at Vista Marina for having made our first visit to the Algarve a positive and memorable experience one.

Travelled to Portugal with 3 sisters. When we arrived We was greeted by predro a receptionist. Reception open 24 hrs. Predro was very pleasant and informative. There was also a lovely brunette hair lady (forgot her name ) she was exceptional. Great service. apartment was amazing. 2 bedroom apartment with two bathrooms. Separate kitchen, separate dining area and balcony. Washing machine and good kitchen amenities. Housekeeping everyday. Wasn't happy with prices for breakfast. Expedia quoted me 5€ for breakfast per day per person. But when we went to the canteen the lady who served demanded 7€. It was a high price for a small table of pastries and juice and cereal and a small tray for beans and eggs- absolutely terrible and disappointing. Only good thing was hot chocolate. We decided to go jumbos supermarket to do a big shop and make our own breakfast. Worked out much cheaper and much tastier than the hotel. Lots of things to do, Lisbon is 3 hrs away, jet skiing, theme parks and zoo not too far away, beach is beauty and clean. 10€ for two sun beds and umbrella. and a lovely restaurant called tropical on beach, they do a lovely sea bream and mussel and chorizos dish. Buying souvenirs is cheap, but it's worth to go to the official Portugal football store as they have some nice quality souvenirs in there. Lots of great restaurants near by with fresh food. Really good food. Overall a fantastic hotel. Just need to upgrade their breakfast.

Overall, it is a great value-for-money hotel! The pool and grounds are the highlights of this hotel. The pool is large and was extremely quiet on weekdays when we were there, often with the pool to ourselves. The weekends are busier but still manageable, with plenty of sunbeds for all. One thing that must be highlighted is the lovely cabana and seating area, super comfy cushions, perfect for relaxing. The reception is modern, with lovely seating when waiting for your taxi. It has brilliant AC and lifts/elevators everywhere. The reception staff were fab, very friendly, and speedy. I had some communication over WhatsApp, which was super easy. The room is very much standard. It is very large for two people, with spacious living, dining, and kitchen areas. The bathroom again does the job and is clean. The AC works wonders in both the bedroom and living room. Cleaners were in every day; beds were made, places tidied, and washing up was done. The balcony was large and brilliant, and it had great views across the marina. Also, the location was fab. It was a 10-minute walk to the main strip of shops and restaurants and about the same into the town on the other side (defo check out Cletonina, casa da Rocha and Sushi & Go), but it meant that you were out in a quieter area. There's also a supermarket right by with good opening hours. Thoroughly recommend this hotel!

Excellent modern hotel with trendy decor in reception and lounge area. Very clean and friendly staff. The apartment was large, spacious with well equipped modern kitchen. We had breakfast included which gave a good variety of continental breakfast and a small hot food server. The public lounge had a pool table ( free to use with a deposit left at reception) , large sofas and television. Outdoor pool was a decent size and loads of space to sunbath although there was a shortage of loungers on the weekend. There was a small indoor pool as well. Hotel location is between Portimao ( 25 mins walk) and Praia de Rocha ( 15mins) with loads of restaurants and bars

Surprisingly, considering the hotel was fully booked with families (July booking) it was very quiet and calm. The housekeeping staff and receptionists were very helpful. The hotel is literally minutes to walk from the beach, and there are several mini supermarkets to buy supplies from at the door of the hotel. We didn't use the pool but it looked very clean and there was a relaxing miniature garden with shady flowering trees and swings for children, the hotel seemed very 'dog friendly' where we enjoyed seeing lots of little pooches walking around enjoying their holidays with their owners.

We had an enjoyable week at Jardins Da Rocha. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a small but sufficient pool. The apartments are very convenient for the beach and local restaurants. The rooms are little bit dated and could do with a make over but they are kept reasonably clean. We had a couple of small issues with our room which were rectified with good grace and efficiency. Charging for WiFi access in the rooms seems a little bit retrograde in this day and age.

Amazing view of the ocean!!!!!!!. Convenience to the beach (litterally a two minute walk). This is in reference to our room we had (1206), the largest apartment plan of that whole floor and two large balconies, both with the view of the ocean: one off the living room and the other off the bedroom. Helpful staff: had a slight problem with coffee maker, mentioned it on our way out, and immediately took care of the problem. The furniture is very simple but functional. Ideal if you want to save some $$, can make simple suppers with the kitchen supplies. A very accessible building: gas stations, markets, restaurants and pharmacy all close by.

I went for a quiet relaxing holiday in the off season and I was not dissapointed. Lovely clean hotel and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A short walk of about 20 minutes takes you to one of the most beautiful beaches.

These apartments are very clean and spacious and offer unbeatable value for money. The location is great too with just a 10 minute walk to the beach, bars and shops. We had a fantastic stay here and will definitely return in the future.

We stayed in one of the two bedroom duplex apartments. When you read big, these are very large and spread over two floors. Very large lounge and well equipped kitchen. Two very good size bed rooms and an enormous bathroom. The two areas linked by a wonderful marble staircase Breakfast is available and is very good value for the price. Although advertised as continental we had an English style breakfast with egg, bacon, sausage etc. The staff were friendly even though we were there late in the season Half Term The pool area is very clean and a nice sun trap. We did have to ask for more sun beds to be put out, but staff arranged this fairly quickly.

Staff very warm and friendly. Hotel needs bit updating as it is little tired. Cleaning staff work very hard and keep the place spotless. TV in the room has english stations. Breakfast was fine cereals, yogurts, fruits, coffee, juices, sausage, eggs, cakes, ham and cheese toasties. Staff here again work extremely hard and keep the breakfast replenished so theres no shortage. Again its very clean and the staff are friendly and greet guests every morning with a warm good morning. Room itself is basic enough bed mattress is very hard. Shower and toilet facilities good. Location ten or 15 minutes walk to town but courtsey bus has regular pick ups and drops to town and the local beach free of charge. Driver punctual and friendly. For us it was the excellent staff they have here that keeps the place still in business!! Local family restaurant 2mins away highly recommended fresh produce and nice fish. Mirachoro Sol if you are reading this you need to get the letters on your roof fixed it reads OTII not good advertising. Your swimming pool needs a sign so guests can find it.

A pleasant stay in October 2017. My 3rd floor room was clean and had a balcony with a pleasant view of the town (but not the sea). The rising October sun shone directly into my room at the front of the hotel. The outdoor pool was pleasant with a shower and changing rooms (the water was cold on entering the pool but nice once I got used to it. (Apparently pool is heated from Oct to April but not sure if it was during my stay). Indoor pool is very small (shallow water at one end but soon gets deep). A few cardiovascular gym machines next to indoor pool. The buffet breakfast offered is very good with a big variety of items available including scrambled eggs, small sausages, bread (which can be toasted using the toaster), butter, marmalade, jam, fruit in juice (incl sliced peaches), sliced melon, sliced tomatoes, breakfast cereals and milk, ham, cheese, various cakes, yoghurt, a machine for various coffees or hot water (tea bags/milk supplied) and various fruit juices. Reception staff were pleasant, one guy was very friendly with perfect english.

Stayed here for 10 nights during winter on a studio and was tremendously pleased. The place looks new, everything is spotlessly clean and the location is good to visit the city (10 min walking), shop for groceries (continente and lidl 5 m away and pingo doce about 10) and OK to visit Praia Da Rocha (15 min walking). Plenty of free parking spaces around. The pool is small but clean, staff is very helpful, sheets were changed weekly and towels every other day. Regular cleaning daily. Longer stays might work differently. No air conditioning, in the winter the rooms were not cold at all so I didn't miss it. Flat screen TV with Portuguese and international channels (BBC, CNBC, RAI, RTL, etc). Good Wi-Fi everywhere with very good throughput. TV plays movies from USB storage and has HDMI socket. All studios have 2 single beds (some have an extra bed on a very small isolated room and a balcony), an electric stove, a microwave, a small fridge with a freezer, a toaster, a kettle and all the utensils that are expected. Buying food is easy due to the location but there are also cheap places that serve meals and a food court at the shopping center. The bathroom has a full size bathtub and looks almost brand new. Mattresses were comfortable and the place was usually quiet (sometimes dogs would bark or the odd roster would be heard). Overall this is a great place at a great price. I've since returned for longer stays and plan on doing it again in the future.

An excellent base for our Algarve (and Alentajo) self drive tour. There was plenty of parking around the hotel. The one bedroom apartment was an excellent size with very comfortable firm beds. There was a TV in the bedroom, bedside units with lamps and a small desk. There are large sliding glass doors out to the balcony, and excellent 'black out' style blinds that generously overlap to ensure a dark room to sleep in. We couldn't get the bedroom balcony door to lock, but being in the end room 6 floors up meant that we would only really have had to fear spiderman or ninjas gaining access this way. The balcony doors from the lounge locked fine and the apartment door locked with four bolts if you turned the key four times. The bathroom was a good size with toilet and bidet and a shower over bath, all in excellent condition. The kitchen diner lounge was a good size with a big sofa (also a sofa bed) TV on an IKEA unit and coffee table. There was no oven in the apartment, but the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and implements, kettle, fridge, hob, microwave, dining table with 4 chairs. The wifi login process can be a bit clunky as you have to visit the landing page each time you connect and key in the details, but the connection was a good speed. The price of this hotel is very good, and overall it represents excellent value for money in my opinion. I would definitely look at this hotel if staying in Portimao again.

I could easily live here. The building is about one year old and they manage the rental of most of the apartments (70) in it. Excellent staff, sun on the balcony, 15 minute walk to Roche Beach and the bars and restaurants. Very safe neighbourhood and they almost give the place away in the off season.

Have everything what you need for self service. 15 min walk to pria de rocha beach who is absollutely brautifull! Have lots of nice restaurants by the beach. Only one minus is a farm next to the hotel where cox make a lot noses lol

This really is a charming hotel in every way. The hotel is beautifully furnished with very comfortable beds and pillows, great shower, spotlessly clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Irena was brilliant and made sure that we were happy with everything. The breakfast was amazing with a huge selection of lovely fresh fruits, yogurts, breads cold meats plus egg and bacon. The hotel is just off the main front road which can be busy but the hotel is just tucked away enough for any noise not to bother us. One the best stays we’ve had in Portugal. Highly recommended!

The room was spotlessly clean. Bravo to the cleaning staff! The bed was big and comfortable, plenty of covers, and pillows. Bathroom was very clean, and had nice toiletries. The check in process was very easy. Staff very nice. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. The hotel is very close to the beach and only a block away from restaurants, bars, stores. Everything exceeded my expectations. One thing to note, is the room looks bigger on the website, but was fine, and we had plenty of room to feel comfortable.

This hotel was a gem. It was quiet, comfortable, clean, pretty and had very friendly staff. The size was smaller and gave a more personal experience. The breakfast was excellent and relaxing to enjoy in the open bar/patio area. The hotel was so close to the beach and shopping. It really couldn’t have been better and was a good value for the price.

The breakfast was incredible!! Everything was perfect and very delicious 😋 The room is very comfortable and clean. They changed our towels and cleaned the room everyday. The hotel is close to the main street with loads of restaurants, and yet is very quiet and we didn’t hear any noise throughout the night. Overall, it was all perfect 🤩

One of the best stays I’ve been in Europe definitely. The staff is so helpful and nice. I’m really impressed about the cleaning and facilities, specially in the bathrooms, not common in hostels like shower cap, good shower gel and shampoo, cleaned towels, also a complete kitchen with everything you need. The pool are is so cozy that we postponed our boat tour to enjoy for a day, perfect to relax, have breakfast, read a book, sunbath, etc. The restaurant has really good lunch and breakfast, everything made carefully, beautiful dishes. And the decoration of the whole property is also nice. I loved the experience! I highly recommend. 😊

The property was a short distance to the train station, which was perfect for my afternoon flight. The staff were genuinely friendly and helped me change my accommodation at the last minute. The room was spotless, it was quiet at night, and the pool was an amazing feature to have when you just wanted to relax. The brunch place was good too which was easy to access. I also found the restaurants in the area to have some stellar food and a grocery store not far from the Hostel for other things. My stay was absolutely splendid and had friendly travelers as well.

Staff friendly and helpful, place was modern and really clean! Location close to bus station, shops and restaurants! Air con in room was very helpful after being in the sun for 6-8hrs per day :). Like the little outdoor area with drying rack and table outside of room. Outdoor lounge area very nice and the pool!

Everything! An amazing accommodation place for everyone. Beautifully renovated and a lovely place to stay. Our Suite was perfect. The courtyard and pool such a relaxing area right in the centre of the old town. Breakfast for €3 was amazing.

This place is amazing! Wonderful, clean rooms, lovely terrace with a pool. Breakfast is worth every Euro. Staff is friendly, helpful and always smiling.

I had a very comfortable room with balcony in this 3 story guesthouse. There is a lot of light and the vibe felt really good. The bathroom was spacious also with lots of light and lots of extra flat surfaces to put toiletries and other items. Bathroom even has a heated towel bar. Bed and bedding were great!! The desk, tables and storage in the room was helpful. Nice shared living room with table, chairs, large fridge, microwave, toaster, and hot water heater. Also some shared supplies including tea, instant coffee, biscuits, vinegar, salt and pepper. The balcony has a table and chairs and it was pleasant having my breakfast there. Though it's April and it got hot pretty fast. I found street parking within a few minutes with great ease every day, all times of the day. Nice quiet neighborhood with lots of birds chirping. Great vegetarian restaurant 5 minutes walk away, also a close by grocery. I drove to the beach daily, just 5 minutes drive, was easy to park in April. Yoga classes are 15 euros each. Daily offerings multiple times a day. You can also get a package discount.

One of the best stays we’ve had in a long time. The hosts are exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. They also offer umbrellas and towels to take to the beach. The beds are comfortable, the air conditioning works extremely well, and the shower is spacious. The whole building smells like a spa, which we found very pleasant. We had a room with a shared bathroom, which was cleaned multiple times a day and shared with just one other room. There’s more than enough free parking space around the premises. It’s less than a 10-minute walk to the city centre, where you can find lots of restaurants and bars. We would definitely stay here again, as it’s the perfect base to explore the Algarve from.

I loved my stay so much I extended! The staff is very friendly and helpful with recommendations, the bed is very comfortable, room very clean and smells lovely, shower is strong and hot, Internet was great for video calls, and there was a standup desk in my room so that I could work easily and comfortably. Downstairs from the rooms is a lovely yoga studio with space for massages and a small natural products boutique- very welcoming and a great energy! The location was very central for me to explore the Algarve coast. Street parking was very easy to find and there is a Michelin rated restaurant within 1 block and 2 phenomenal Italian places in a seven minute walk. Loved the stay - and such a great value!

My stay in this yoga guesthouse was exceptional! I was looking for a place where I could relax, recharge, practice yoga and have a massage. Villa Prana is the place that met all my expectations and even more. I had a nice double room with bathroom and a balcony, the bed was comfortable. It was very pleasant to receive a little bucket with essentials and face oil samples. The Yoga studio is absolutely great, it's spacious, has all the equipment and props. David and Silvia are amazing hosts and they made my stay in Villa Prana is absolutely exceptional! If you stay in Villa Prana I would highly recommend to go for a yoga class and treat yourself with a massage. Silvia is an experienced yoga teacher and I loved her classes. Also, I really liked the décor of this Villa, every little detail on its place. The vibe of this place is just simply amazing and I would definitely go back there again.

Everything. This is a beautiful place. Silvia and her team are exceptionally lovely and welcoming. We only stayed for three days, but I would definitely recommend staying for longer and enjoying the studio and massages etc. . The place was taken care of with so much love, rooms were beautiful and comfortable and this common area was always clean. The terrace was a little sun trap. The bed and bedding was lovely., like so nice and better than home. The towels were super clean, and we borrowed extra towels for the beach. No charge. They also had umbrellas for the beach. There were lots of toiletries to swap and use, as well as shampoo and soap in the showers. Would recommend and visit again !

The staff were very friendly and helpful - offering places to eat - great suggestion - delicious 😀👍. There is a large parking lot nearby, so no worries about finding a spot when we were there. They offer a nice buffet breakfast and an outdoor sitting area to eat. There is a small pool there as well, but this was closed during our stay due to temperatures. Our room was nice, but you may want to get one of the bigger rooms for a bit more space. You can unpack your stuff into the offered armoire, but we opted for suitcase living for a couple of days. The location of this Guest House may not be for everyone, as it is away from the beach area. It is a quieter area, but there are several shops and restaurants nearby. If you want to head to the beach, it is a short Bolt ride away or a nice walk. I would suggest doing Google Street view to see where the entrance door is as well. Thank you for a great stay.

We stayed in the yellow deluxe suite, which is a very spacious, comfortable and quiet room on the top floor with a beautiful view of the river and the river promenade. The reception and breakfast staff were very helpful and efficient. Breakfast was good and included eggs cooked to order. The location is great. The guesthouse is excellent value for money.

Good location for both the town and the river area. Beautiful old building sympathetically renovated. We enjoyed a great view over the river from our attic room. Enjoyable buffet breakfast and coffee. Lovely staff. We appreciated being able to leave our luggage prior to check-in and after check-out.

Excellent location, 100 metres from the beach, lots of restaurants nearby. 400 metres to river ferry to Ferragudo. Shortbus ride to Praia de Rocha. Nice buffet breakfast. Lady made me eggs every morning. Tea and coffee available.very large and comfortable room and great shower.

Excellent location. Anyone who knows Praia da Rocha knows that being only 200 meters away from the center of all the bars and restaurants and the beach and yet staying in a location that is not very noisy is not easy to find. The apartment is a trade-off between not having any views but being close to everything you want and being as quiet as you could expect from a place like Praia da Rocha. The hotel that manages the apartment has excellent staff, and they are super fast, sending maintenance within minutes if something is not working, as it was in our case. It was nothing serious, but we needed to sort it out, and they did in record time. Parking directly in front of the apartment was another bonus for us.

The apartment was very spacious, clean and bright. 2-3 min walk to the main beach. Lots of shops and restaurants in the vicinity. I had a very great time here!

Between train station and Mediterranean Coast this hostel offered more than I could ask for. Original Portuguese home comfort with living room to sit and read books, a shared bathroom with shower and a spacious kitchen for shared cooking. An extra was the roof terrace with a view to a stork nest on a defunct chimney. For evening or night amazing to sit on the sofas or even use the bed under the starry sky. It's a short walk to the main square café, ten minutes to the Marina Promenade and half an hour to the huge beach.

It is such a difference to stay in a hostel run by a family. I really appreciated the warm, friendly space and the care of the family running the place. The place is located so central and near to restaurants, river, and just 30 min walk to the beach, 15 min walk to the train station. The rooms have air conditioning. There is a roof top with both soffas and table. Super clean and tidy. I warmly recommend.

I had really good time in City Stork Hostel. It's rather small hostel in the center of Portimao. Rooms are small but well equipped (lockers, enough space for clothes, AC, comfortable beds). I especially liked common space areas. I really enjoyed evenings in the roof top taras! People I met there were very friendly and open minded. We organized some activities together. Manuela, the owner of the hostel, is very friendly and helpful! Since you are in the center, there is plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops around. Closest beach is about 30 min walk distance.

This was the second time I returned to City Stork. A lovely family-owned place, bright, spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet, in the city centre & walkable in all directions.

A real gem! The space is bright and airy with lots of nooks and places to hang out. The roof patio and the living room balcony both with their views af the storks are like wildlife viewing platforms. The kitchen is fabulous with all you need to cook incredible meals from fresh ingredients at the market just a few blocks away. Very clean and superb showers. Rooms are well-laid out. Location is great. I loved this place!

Welcoming staff. Lovely clean spacious 2 bedroom apartment. Full kitchen/dining space. 5 min walk to mini supermarket, main promenade and beaches. Perfect for a family of 4. Lovely pool area with access to Toni's bar.

The location was very central but also quiet. Supermarkets, restaurants, but most of all the wonderful Praia da Rocha and Praia dos Tres Castelos are within 10 minutes walking distance. The Apartment was very spacious and clean.

We spent 5 weeks at this property. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. They contacted us on the day of arrival to make sure all was in order which was greatly appreciated. Manuela in the office was super friendly and helpful and we will definitely book again. Miriam

Amazing staff: professional, friendly, helpful - 12/10 for sure! Super clean amenities, beds were comfortable, clean, I slept so well here. Dorm was spacious, always allowing for fresh air even when full, and plenty of power outlets close to each bed - really well planned. Security lockers great size and they don't require a padlock. Showers had fantastic water pressure, and hot water. I will definitely stay here again when I come back, amazing value for money.

Aloha Hostel was perfect for me! I felt safe and the staff was really helpful with everything. Instead of 1 night I ended up staying a week. Kitchen had everything you might need. All the basics and some nice extras; italian mokapot, toaster, kettle, even ricecooker. Room was really spacious and had spacious lockers with keys (no own padlock needed). The hostel was cleaned the most out of all the numerous hostels I've stayed in in Portugal. Especially kitchen, bathrooms and other common areas seemed to have really deep clean everyday at least once. Shops, restaurants and supermarkets really close by. I was able to store my bicycle inside which is always huge plus for bike safety. Thank you!! I would stay again if visiting Portimão.

Clean, central, and comfy. Staff were very friendly and helpful ensuring I got there and checked in ok as I arrived after the reception closed. Good kitchen and common spaces. There is a computer that you can use, which was super helpful for me as my phone had broken.

A lovely clean hostel in central Portimao looked after by great staff. Close to the river and bars. 10 minute walk to the train station and easy to find. The four bed dorm is bright airy and spacious with lockers. The place has a nice relaxed vibe.

The location is perfect. Rooms are rather spacious, clean, you have your own locker, socket and shelf right over the bed. Kitchen has everything and even more. Cozy terrace and living room.

It was the best time spent in Portugal. Located 20 min walking distance away from the beach, cafes and restaurants. Having a rental car there is a plus - we took short road trips to Ferragudo- charming village with beautiful Praia dos Caneiros, and Sagres - to visit the fortress and to try out surfing at Praia do Tonel . Parking is free at the apartment complex. We loved the terrace - perfect to enjoy breakfast in the morning. The apartment was spacious enough for five persons, newly renovated and clean. The owners communicated promptly and effectively. We would definitely recommend it!

We didn't have breakfast on site, but there were plenty of restaurants in the area to eat breakfast or markets to purchase items to enjoy breakfast on the balcony/terrace. We loved the location of the apartment and the proximity to beaches in the area. Additionally, we rented a car and there was plenty of parking on site for our vehicle and it was easy to drive to other cities/towns in the Algarve region. The apartment itself was lovely and very comfortable. Our hosts met us upon arrival and provided the keys to the apartment. They also had a booklet with information/tips of things to do, and they went over everything. They were also very responsive if we had any questions. We would definitely book again and highly recommend this property.

We really enjoyed our stay here in early October! We were lucky to experience great weather as well as this very nice accommodation. The apartment is in excellent condition and Mark and Alina were very kind and helpful. We had everything we needed and for two persons the apartment is very spacious, including a nice big balcony with great views. There is good Wifi, air conditioning, TVs and other amenities all in place as described. Location is good with short, downhill walk to the many different beaches that the area offers. We had a good, relaxing vacation and enjoyed our daily walks to the beaches and to town and marina.

Really well equipped modern apartment. It's really clean and nice to stay in. Check in and out with Alina was straightforward. Very friendly,helpful and accommodating. Access to two pools was fantastic. Short walk or drive to beach front. I hope i can stay here again in future.

We stayed in the top floor, 3 bedroom villas and it was truly amazing... the layout, fixtures and fitting and general facilities where 10 out of 10. The views from the roof terrace (specific to the 3 bedroom apartment) was exceptional. Being able to have your own roof top terrace to sunbath on was such a pleasure. Everything in the apartment was modern and felt like it was brand new. We had house cleaning service mid week and they left the apartment like new again. The apartment complex outside areas were beautifully maintained and the pool area was really nice. Location was amazing right beside the beach and loads of restaurants close by. With the exception of a few points below, I would absolutely recommend these apartments.

I was looking for a quiet but modern apartment with a balcony overlooking the sea for a week whilst trying to do some writing and could not possibly have found abetter place to do it. The apartment is stunning, very thoughtfully and beautifully put together with absolutely everything you might need. The balcony is huge and overlooks the sea with the most incredible views and with the most wonderful beach I have ever seen only metres away. The bathroom is fantastic, with a particularly large shower. The kitchen is stocked with every utensil you might need, including equipment such as a coffee maker, kettle, toaster, microwave, oven and even a dishwasher. The bed is very comfortable and I particularly loved the electric shutters which, when lowered, completely black out the entire apartment. On the one occasion when I needed some help using the oven, the host sent someone up to help me immediately. I could not recommend this apartment any more highly.

We had a 2 bed apartment on the 2nd floor and it was exactly like in the pictures. Spotlessly clean, cosy, amazing sea views. We had everything we needed to cater for our family as we travelled with 2 small children and having things like washing machine and dishwasher made our life easy. We requested a cot and it was ready in the room when we arrived along with a high chair. We also found the place quite safe for our 9 month old to roam around. Loved the location - right by the beach, restaurants and shops nearby and a bit out of the way so there's no noise. The beach is just stunning! A few steps from the building there is a bus stop where you can take the bus to town centre, but if you drive, there is an indoor parking on the ground floor.

What an amazing experience, very clean, picturesque, nice swimming pool and outdoor seating areal. Daniel, the on site maintenance man, very helpful as we're the cleaners. The apartment had alll the facilities we needed, washing machine, kitchen utensils, TV satellite channels, Air Con, Wifi storage etc. Perfect location for the beach and main high street which are a stone throw away. Very comfortable beds and clean bedding. All the information we needed was provided, smooth check in process. Grounds are well kept. A fantastic example. Me and the Mrs would definitely stay here again and recommend.

We absolutely loved this property. From the James Bond numerically controlled gates for access to the covered parking to the electrically controlled room-darkening blinds on all the windows, we always felt spoiled. The apartment is thoughtfully laid out and had plenty of room for the two of us, it quickly became our super comfy home away from home in the Algarve. Everything from the decor and amenities to the fit and finish of everything is high-end. The air conditioning units are efficient and whisper quiet. Everything you need from plates to cutlery, pots & pans to a very spacious fridge and freezer, The apartment also has a very large balcony with a spectacular view of Praia das Rocas. We just loved sitting on the balcony watching all the people walk along the boardwalk and listening to the waves crashing at the beach just in front of us.

The apartment was amazing lovely big balcony the white goods looked like knew it had washing machine just everything you would want just one thing I think it needed a small coffee table in front of the settee it was awkward with a table at the side could have done with instructions how to get the washing machine to work 😂but apart from that it was amazing could have done with maybe a taxi firms number to phone if you wanted one and emergency service just incase but outside was lovely the apartment outside was getting painted so they keep the place up to standard.Marcoe was very helpful and the cleaner that changed your beds was absolutely fantastic could not speak a word of English but she tried her very best,but had a very relaxing holiday no problems the neighbours were great .

Actually it is more spacious as we thought it would be. Everything is clean. Especially the pool. The whole area is perfect for everyone. The balcony was amazing and the view too. We had to work sometimes and we did it out there.

Everything was great,from the check in to check out, very clean and comfortable apartment in a nice apartment block,4 minutes walk to the shopping centre and cinema and nice restaurants and cafes, WiFi was great and everything was very clean. Highly recommend.

Location was perfect, especially if you are a beach lover and like all the restaurants and night life to be on your doorstep, all we had to do was go on the balcony and fell part of it, instead of actually going out ourselves. As soon as you open the patio you could see the staircase to the beach it's that close and we could see whether the weather actually good to hit the beach, where as if your not that close to the beach you don't have the same advantages. Bed was really comfortable was a king size. The bedroom size wasn't the biggest maybe it was because the size of the bed taking up most of the bedroom lol. The living room and kitchen area was definitely big enough for 4 people as there was a sofa bed. There is a lot of supermarkets within 5 mins in the taxi, we did a big shop on the 2nd day in the supermarket and what we brought and cooked ourselves they would of charged us 3x the amount in the local food resturants, its about being smart with your money, if you can cook that is and make your own breakfasts it's a win win. Save that money and use it on other things like uber or other activities. Most we paid on a uber was €7 and that was to get to Alvor which was a 15min drive from our hotel and it was about €4 to get to the nearest shopping centre.

Everything was perfect! The apartment was spacious, it had all the amenities and it's close to the beach and restaurants. It receives a lot of light during the day and it has a small balcony where you can seat and enjoy the view. The staff is also great, really nice and helpful! I stay here every year and I really enjoy booking with Apartamentos Belo Horizonte!

The view was amazing. Exceptionally clean & modern, with a super comfortable bed.All essentials provided. Anthony was very helpful especially when our flight was delayed ,where we arrived late at night.Private car park at the rear is a great bonus.

The room was right in front of a beautiful park. Lovely balcony full height windows. Easy access. Right next to everything you could need. However quiet enough at the right time. Air conditioned room with plenty of space and storage. Access to a small terrace overlooking the plaza. Great place to enjoy some wine and cooked food. Plenty of mini markets and supermarkets in the vicinity. Room was impeccably clean, bed was super comfy. Bathroom was easy to keep tidy. Prompt response from the host and owner. Very welcoming. Beautiful flowers and chocolates as a request from myself, of which they nailed.

Manager/host met me earlier than check in time without extra cost - most gracious and pleasant - they provided a tour of my suite and other facilities - comfortable bed and pillows, soft towels - contemporary space/decor in older building with some original vintage touches ie interior french door shutters and lobby entrance door - suite had equipped kitchenette and outside of suite a full larger shared kitchen with large table and courtyard patio - close to everything such as amazing restaurants, wine bar, shopping and taxi stand - although my suite was not overlooking the park and on a fairly busy street, the insulated windows kept noise out and the street traffic was almost non existent at night and early morning

The room was comfortable and clean, the location is convenient, in the old town. Good value for money. Manuela was very nice and welcoming, she gave us a lot of recommendations regarding parking, places to visit, restaurants. Obrigada!

The staff was friendly and helpful. Good communication and responsiveness. The place is super clean and renovated. The common area kitchen, my room and bathroom are really nice and modern.

Great location, friendly welcome, comfortable, and clean. Nice to have a terrace overlooking the square. Easy to catch a ferry across to Ferragudo and local bus to Carvoeiro.

For us the location was excellent, discreetly situated on the beach front, just a few metres from the stairs to the beach. Also, we were surrounded by many of the amenities of Praia da Rocha, including the lively nightlife, that we loved! The breakfast was great and included a bit of everything we like: juice, coffee, fruit, yogurt, croissants, bread rolls, ham and cheese. We couldn't finish it! The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room was clean and had everything we needed.

This was our second stay at Residencial Sol, a very convenient place to spend our first night in Portimao before moving to an apartment in nearby Alvor for an extended stay. Basic, but super clean, rooms with comfy beds and a fantastic breakfast served in the sun terrace by very attentive staff. The hotel is right in the centre of the action, hence it can be noisy specially if your room faces the main road, but ear plugs are provided and even a light sleeper like myself can enjoy a good night sleep.

The breakfast is very good and is served by friendly staff. The property has a parking spots on site. The location of the property is superb. It's just along a busy street which means you can never have a dull moment. From the property to the beach is just about 5 minutes walk. There are a lot of restaurants along the busy street where you can easily walk in for a quick bite or a delicious local, continental, or Indian meal. There are grocery stores and supermarkets of walking distances incase you want to buy stuff for your self.

The staff were very welcoming, kind and accommodating. It felt like being in a friendly home. The room was super clean and the breakfast was enjoyable. The hotel is clearly very well managed.

A very friendly hostel with both dorms and separate rooms. We stayed in a separate room that was fresh and clean, with shared bathroom. Although, we heard that others got rooms facing the other side next to a kindergarten and was a little upset about this due to all the sound. All guests get breakfast included, it's a plate with basically some bread, cheese/ham, juice and coffee,not much but the owner was friendly and if you wanted more food you could always ask for this, she wanted to make sure everyone had a great stay and provided information about nearby activities to do. The location was good, about 15 min to the city where all the restaurants and bars were located at by the coast. I would probably prefer to stay at other hotels but if you're used to hostels this was a friendly and calm one.

For a long weekend break this hostel is perfect. The owners Manuela and Carla are very welcoming and very kind, they provide an amazing breakfast and are very helpful when arranging activities (Carla booked a diving trip for me). Will and Paige also very welcoming and friendly, they are great for arranging trips out of the hostel and are very good for pointing you in the right direction for things you want to do. They create a great environment in the hostel.

Amazing place 🙌 .. a beautiful clean and spacious hostel, lovely friendly staff and owners, great showers and clean fresh towels, big kitchen and social area, and the pool and patio area are a delight 😊 ❤️ ... one of the loveliest hostels I've stayed in .. and a Lidl and McD's just around the corner and only 30 mins walk to the beaches ⛱️ and Praia da Rocha 🙏 🥰 ... muito obrigado 🙏 ... This was a great hostel. Clean, cozy, friendly. The hostel has bikes to borrow for a quick ride to the beach. Easy to get to with taxi from train station. Called the hostel because flight delay caused a late evening check in and it was taken care of and not a problem at all. The host was very helpful on the telephone (whatsapp) and the staff at hostel was very friendly.
