Beautiful large clean rooms, amazing shower, huge comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. Excellent pool and jacuzzi outside. An oasis of calm. The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond in every way to make our stay exceptional.

What I liked: very friendly and helpful staff, the convenience of the kitchenette in the room, excellent central location but at the same time quiet (if your room is facing the garden/pool), loved the outdoor hot tub/jacuzzi, loved the fact that the room was facing the garden/courtyard.

Large comfortable room, stunning interior design and furnishings. Very comfortable bed. Very quiet despite being on the main road. Outdoor jacuzzi was great after a long day of touring Porto. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was excellent many choices & menu offerings. Room exceptionally comfortable with extra amenities (port, water, turn down w tea) nice to have pool & jacuzzi. Would have liked to have had time for the lovely spa. Staff welcoming & helpful.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was great...we stayed in 3 hotels in Porto during our stay and this was the best location for us. The room was beautiful and well equipped. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and pool. Breakfast was great.

Amazing location, great views of Porto. Interior is really well done, every detail has been thought through. Team was super welcoming and gave us a tour of the whole property with lots of pro tips, including a really sweet welcome gift. The rooms are based off of Avantgarde artists which was a really special touch. Breakfast was phenomenal, didn’t have the opportunity to try the dinner there. Spa area was also lovely, we tried the sauna and steam rooms, the jacuzzi pool was also great even during a rainy day.

Everything was fantastic. The view, the design of the hotel, bravo! An incredible spa with a jacuzzi overlooking the city panorama. This is the best service in my life, every detail was noticed. It was my husband's birthday, so they brought him a cake with a candle in the morning for breakfast, and they also put water in the car when we left. Thank you for the incredible experience.

We stayed in the Royal Jacuzzi Suite, dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci. With its spacious and comfortable balcony, this room offers a view of the city and river that is absolutely breathtaking. There is a marquee canopy that shelters the balcony from intense, direct sun. The three-person outdoor jacuzzi is very clean, comfortable, and not over chlorinated. We really enjoyed lounging on this balcony! The room is elegant, modern, and tastefully decorated. It accommodated us well as three adult family members (2 parents with older child). In my opinion, this room is absolutely tops if you're planning a romantic get-away or special holiday. The hotel staff are super kind and helpful. The spa is worth a visit, too. We enjoyed a couples massage there. Danielly in Guest Relations was on the ball via WhatsApp to help us book dinner reservations at choice seafood restaurants around town, including 5 Oceanos, which we definitely recommend for an unforgettable dining experience. Overall, a lovely, memorable holiday weekend in beautiful Porto!!

We spent a few days visiting Porto and the Torel Avantgarde was an amazing home base during our time there. The staff, especially Ricardo and Alex, were wonderful hosts and really elevated our time at the hotel. The rooms are modern and spacious as usual the bathroom: we both had plenty of real estate in which to get ready. Each room is individually decorated in the theme of a particular artist/author/inventor in a modern and minimalist way which is a fun touch. While the location is a bit outside of the city center, like everything in Porto, it was a short walk away (our longest walk to get somewhere was 20 minutes) and we were both happy to have a bit more quiet and a view of the river. The breakfast (we enjoyed it from the sun-filled atrium) had everything you could want: meats, cheeses, a made to order egg station, breads, fruit, cooked and raw veggies, cereals, juices, mimosa makings and any type of coffee drink you would like) was definitely a highlight. We also took advantage of the gym each day and also enjoyed heated pool. And, of course, the hotel bar where Alex makes AMAZING cocktails. Looking forward to coming back!

Terrific service and great location. Park the car and just explore! From start to finish the staff were incredibly helpful and focused on our experience. Located close to everything, this hotel is quiet respite from walking adventure days around a fun city. Engage the hotel team through WhatsApp to get near-live support for all your needs like restaurant suggestions and reservations and must visit spots around the city. Bring comfortable shoes and just get out and explore! Our room had a great view of the city and river and was very comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast was AMAZING each morning and a proper way to start your day with a great selection of health and not-so-healthy options ;)! We highly recommend this property for your stay in Porto if you want to be close enough to everything to enjoy while appreciating some quiet when done exploring. Our stay in Bessa Baixa was perfect. We were upgraded with superior room, even we booked deluxe. Superior has a jacuzzi which is another level of comfort. We enjoyed it at full. We were proposed 2 glasses of champagne at the beginning. As it was my birthday, I received a dessert as a compliment, which is so sweet. The room has all that’s needed, the breakfast was very good. The location is very good too.

Indoor pool was amazingly clean and relaxing (quality of water in the pool, hygiene excellent). Alma at the reception along with other were professional and always helpful. Claudio at the bar was so kind. Ramon at the restaurant was always ready to help and also kind. The location is fantastic, and it really exceeded my expectations. I´d go back and highly recommend it. Breakfast was delicious and quality of the food was great! Had dinner on my last night and wish I had had more dinners there. I´m so pleased with my choice.

Beautiful Hotel in a Great Central Location – Highly Recommended! I stayed at the Bessa Hotel Baixa in Porto for 4 nights with friends and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is beautifully designed with a plush lobby and stylish rooms. The room was spacious and very comfortable, a mirror that doubles as a TV – such a cool touch! Lobby was beautiful with a large bathroom featuring sleek hanging taps and absolutely stunning. The staff were efficient, friendly, and always helpful. Our room came with a coffee machine and kettle, and the bathroom amenities were great. The breakfast spread was excellent, with a wide variety of tasty options and several juice choices. The only issue we had was figuring out the air-conditioning controls, but that was minor compared to everything else. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Porto!

Everything!!! That room with jacuzzi on the terrace was such a great choice for the day when Portugal got out of power - this hotel has an autonomous power generator and they accepted guests that day; super tasty dinner (got it into the room with a nice bottle of champagne); kind staff; location in Boavista next to the stadium in between Porto city center and Matosinhos; I will definitely get back for more days

Breakfast and Dining food brilliant with hugely friendly and obliging Service. Rooms clean and well appointed. We could not fault it and it was a very pleasant surprise.

It is a few years since I last stayed at the Bessa; I had forgotten what a good hotel it is - clean, modern, efficient and friendly. The staff were very helpful to accommodate my request for a late check out. Breakfast is always good there, and this time I had a couple of snacks in the bar in the evening, which were truly delicious.

The room was clean and spacious, with a nice bathroom. The personnel was very was and helpful. Breakfast was rather basic but everything was fresh and tasty. The hotel has a very good location for my purpose, the neighborhood is quiet and pleasant.

I'll start with the only con to get it out of the way - it's not a central hotel. It's located in what seems like a residential neighborhood. Ubers to the center are not expensive however. Having said that, I don't care because it was AWESOME. The room was very very clean, the bathtub was luscious and the hot tub was amazing. Porto is a lovely place but I would honestly travel there again just to stay at this hotel. The staff was absolutely lovely. We had to stay another night because our flight was canceled and everyone was so friendly and sympathetic. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't care about being exactly in the center and wants a more luxury experience than the usual small room with two bed put together that you get in Europe a lot.

The sobreiro bungalow was amazing, perfect size, very private. Very conformable, jacuzzi was nice and worm. Breakfast in the room was a plus, all the staff very friendly.

We booked Quinta do Pedregal for 4 nights for my birthday trip. Our stay was simply excellent ! Our room/lodge was so cosy, clean and made/decorated with taste. The staff and their attention to details and to their clients was exceptional, we felt well taken care of. They spoke to us in our native language the whole time, they were all kind and super helpful. Special thank you to Raphaela. The spa amenities were amazing too and clean. The food at the restaurant for breakfast and also for one dinner we had there was made with fresh ingredients only and was wonderful. Thank you again !

The staff Was friendly, welcoming and making our stay excellent. The area is very quiet and you need a car to go to the nearest restaurant, but they have one in the hotel which was delicious (small menu but complete). The rooms are spacious, well insulated, the bed was huge and very comfortable. The swimming pool area was easy to access, clean and not crowded so you can actually enjoy a swim and some reading/tanning.

Great location, super nic staff.very comfortable bed and pillows. Clean. Great viewed and we'll maintained jacuzzi. Breakfast was also a nice add on. You could easily get full :)

A wonderful spacious apartment. The breakfast delivered to the door each morning was lovely. The poolside bar created a wonderful atmosphere. The jacuzzi in the room was an excellent addition to the whole experience.

Great stay in central Porto for a family. Parking is perfect, swimming pool and jacuzzi is amazing and the room was great too.

The room was spacious with everything you would need. The Pool and Jacuzzi also made our stay very enjoyable.

We stayed here 5 days in January. The large balcony with an ocean view was spectacular. The apartment is located on the first street from the ocean, so we had an unobstructed view and could hear the sounds of the waves crashing. The spa tub was very nice. The hosts, Vitor and Gabriella, were extraordinarily helpful both in communicating before our stay and helping us during our stay, including washing our clothes for us when the washer in the apartment failed to work. However, in general, it is a huge plus to have a washer and dryer in the unit, as it's always an issue to find a way to do one's laundry when traveling. Vitor even ran to catch the bus to central Porto for us, after accompanying us to the bus stop. The accordion doors closing off the balcony helped a lot with the noise from the road in front of the apartment. We had no problem with noise. We were given a welcoming couple of glasses of port upon arrival and on one other day, when our apartment was cleaned and the linens changed, Housekeeping was provided every other day. We enjoyed staying in Foz do Douro instead of in central Porto, as the streets are flatter (I am mobility-limited). There is a long asphalt promenade along the sea right in front of the apartments. There are good restaurants near the apartments. There is a coffee maker in the apartment and a small kitchen.

The apartment was beautiful and very well appointed and spotless, the location was perfect with stunning view of the sea and a generous balcony, vitor the host was a pleasure to deal with and so friendly and accommodating, complimentary wine and port on arrival, he recommended and booked a fabulous restaurant for us our first night and organised our airport transfer at 4am to the airport, walking distance to the beach and restaurants, we really enjoyed staying here and would highly rate it

The host went above and beyond and allowed me an early check in on arrival with prior communication and that was so helpful. The view was GORGEOUS and the space was very comfortable. You can literally lay in bed and watch the ocean! Everything was very clean and the location was perfect - close to a grocery store, restaurants, atm, and of course the beach! There is a washer and dryer, coffee pod machine, and hot water kettle.

Excellent location, numerous markets and restaurants within walking distance. Easy to get to the center city by bus or Uber ($5-10). Very clean, balcony had amazing views. Vitor and wife were a great resource and so accommodating and friendly. They treated us like family.

We were made to feel like home by the owners, the view was absolutely stunning and the location is amazing for a relaxing trip. The mattress and the pillows were very good quality and very comfortable, which in turn made us want to spend even more time in bed. All in all just very good.

This place is charming, relaxing, and beautiful. The bar and restaurant area are breathtaking. The place is just delightful. The bed was comfortable with soft linens. It was very clean and the whole hotel smelled wonderful. Overall a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. The only complaint I had, and it is minor, is that the in-room coffee wasn’t great. The bar had amazing drinks. The rooftop and room balcony had wonderful views. It was very walkable, which was nice. Parking is a bit far away, but that is expected based on location. Highly recommend.

This is a really beautiful hotel, a little out of town, up a tiny cobbled street., only about 10 mins walk into the town centre. We were given a very warm welcome and a glass of wine on arrival. The staff and service were excellent, as was the breakfast which offered lots of choice, including many healthy options, as well as ‘English’ style hot food. Everything was of excellent quality and the waiting staff were very attentive. Our room was lovely with loads of storage and comfortable beds. A large bottle of mineral water was provided every day. Although we were close to the lift there was never any noise at all. We had dinner in the Hotel restaurant (Traves) one evening, which was delicious. The cocktails in the very comfortable bar, and the rooftop bar, were pretty good too! I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and if we ever return to Porto, this is where we’ll stay.

The property is very charming! The room is very nice, spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff were very kind overall. They left us chocolates and port wine on the first day when we got back to our room. It was a very sweet gesture to welcome us. A few comments: 1- The property does not view the river, so the pictures are a bit misleading on Expedia. Even the roof, did not view the river. It is very close to the river, a couple of minutes you walk out. 2- When ordering breakfast, they offer cappuccino and latte, but we did not know the first couple of days, so ask for it, in case they just ask you if you want coffee or tea. They also have pancakes and different eggs that they can prepare for you in the kitchen, so ask for it. 3- The location is a bit uphill which is nice, but be prepared in case you have elderly.

The property was beautiful and we had a comfortable, spacious, modern room. We had drinks and dessert and the staff was great. They also reached out in advance offering to arrange transportation from the airport to the hotel. They were knowledgeable and friendly. We had a nice balcony and view. There was a rooster nearby as we were in a neighborhood otherwise pretty quiet area. The alley to our hotel was very narrow and we had to walk a bit to get near the sites and majority of the shopping and restaurants. I loved the property and recommend it, just wish was closer to things we wanted to see and do.

We planned an extended stay in Porto of 9 nights and we chose to stay at Hotel Das Virtudes. We did have some concerns about the length of stay should we not like the property. Those fears were quickly dispelled. From the rooftop patio, to the wonderful breakfast there was nothing not to like. The building is beautifully refurbished with a couple of enjoyable seating areas. The rooms were spacious, quiet, clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is perfectly situated to the Duoro and downtown areas. This is a hotel we would highly recommend. Definitely will be back our next stay in Porto.

While the hotel was absolutely amazing (more on that later), Bruna really set it apart with her exceptional service. She spent a lot of time with us showing us key features of the room and making us feel at home. On our first full day in Porto, we mentioned that we had to meet our tour super early before breakfast was served, so she arranged to have a to-go bag filled with breakfast goodies like fruit, yogurt, and pastries. She even made sure my wife's favorite tea was ready for us to grab and go. Bruna was also able to get us reservations at a supposedly full restaurant. We saw her every day and she greeted us with a smile, asked if we needed anything else, and always wanted to go above and beyond. Bruna is an outstanding representation of the hotel and she should be rewarded for her amazing customer service. We certainly did not get this same approach at other hotels. What we loved about the hotel, besides Bruna, is that it is centrally located. Plenty of great restaurants close by and about a 15 min walk to the Luis I bridge. The rooms were great and clean. They had very high ceilings, a beautiful chandelier, an actual room key, and a modern shower. Our room had a nice view to the pool and restaurant, surrounded by plenty of greenery. The breakfast had plenty of options, both a la carte and at the breakfast bar. We never left hungry!

From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, the team at the Torel Palace is what makes this hotel stand out. Every single person we engaged with could not do enough to ensure we had a truly memorable holiday. This was always done in a friendly but professional manner. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are stunning. We had a balcony and it was lovely to sit out with a coffee or drink at the start or end of the day. The beds are so comfy and the turndown service is a pleasant touch. The bathroom/toilet is a mirrored cube in the middle of the room which is a bit disconcerting at first but works well! The added touches like the complimentary fizz and snacks on arrival are lovely. The coffee machine is great and the coffee gives you a good start to the day! Breakfast is delicious with a lots of choice and something for everyone! Again the team here are lovely and greet you every morning with a smile! The pool is not big but perfect for a dip after a hot day exploring Porto! Definitely use the hotels restaurant recommendations as we went to some lovely ones which would have bypassed us otherwise. Will certainly stay here again and would thoroughly recommend! Thank you

Amazing historic property in the heart of Porto. Great care given to the finer details. It is beyond the luxury experience in small ways....real old keys that work your door but great modern amenities that make you feel at home. They nailed it when it came to the right balance of old and new.....except for the pigeons and seagulls on the rooftops outside my balcony window.....sounds like a crying baby in the middle of the night!! The breakfast buffet is amazing...great healthy choices, friendly staff to welcome you. I even had my car washed at the parking garage to get a clean wind screen for the next leg of my drive! Amazing what 12EU will get you! I LOVE the theme of writers and poets. Please don't lose that....a truly amazing stay.

The staff were exceptional,first they upgraded us on arrival then I mentioned the trip was a surprise birthday present for my partner and on the day of his birthday they brought out a little chocolate mousse cake at breakfast, later when we went to pay for our drinks, they said they were on the house as it was his birthday, and later that evening I asked the receptionist to call a restaurant I had booked on line to change the time,at the restaurant they served dessert with a candle and sang happy bithday!so the receptionist had gone to the trouble of mentioning it.It was a very nice touch.The room was beautiful (room 9)overlooking the pool area,the bed was super comfortable, breakfast was delicious and open till 11 which was great!The decor is really nicely done,themed around Portuguese writers.Location was perfect too near everything but in a quiet street,I could not fault our stay, highly recommend and would love to go back,can't imagine staying anywhere else in Porto

Very friendly staff, free hotel parking just across the street, very good breakfast. We got an upgrade to a room with a large terrace and a jacuzzi, thank you for that! The touristic area can easily be reached by metro.

Lovely hotel, only stayed for one brief night due to onward travel arrangements. My room was upgraded and I ended up with a balcony and jacuzzi bath! Really nice place, but unfortunately, i didn't get time to explore the local area.

We stayed 3 nights in August 2025 and came back for an additional night between flights. The Jaguar is a renovated boutique hotel located in a perfect location with free parking and away from the crowds. A 7 minute drive to Porto's downtown and an easy access to highways for exploring the area. The first room we took was clean and comfortable albeit small. When we came back we took a larger room with a jacuzzi which was a real treat!! Breakfast included everything you need to start your daily travel. We also had a delicious dinner. The staff was exceptional. Always helpful, smiling, knowledgeable and helped us plan our Porto visit.

I recently stayed at Hotel Jaguar in Porto and absolutely loved it. From start to finish, it made for a very comfortable and convenient visit. What I liked most: - The room was super clean, everything felt fresh and well maintained. - There were lots of amenities to use: hair-dryer, iron, cups and kettle, coffee/tea making facilities, etc. - Comfort was excellent and the bed was great. - The hotel is very close to the metro, only a few minutes walk to Marquês Metro Station (yellow line). - The area has plenty of shops, cafés, places to grab drinks, food, groceries; all within easy walking distance, which is really handy for everyday needs and evenings out. - The hotel staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful. - The ride from and to the the airport was also of great value and super convenient.

The location was perfect for me, 10 minutes out of the city centre on the metro, 5 minutes walk from the metro station, The staff were absolutely amazing, so helpful, we got a free upgrade. The bar was relaxing and the decor/furniture were very classy, lots of bars within 10 minutes walk, lovely restaurant just around the corner. Porto is so busy so the hotel is perfect to get out of the hectic city life

Privileged location at the Aliados Avenue (one of the most beautiful boulevards in Portugal in my opinion) facing the City Hall, accessible to almost all main attractions on foot and with a metro station right in front of the hotel. The hotel is very modern and has a very helpful staff, with a particular mention for Inês. The room was spacious, very comfortable and with a breathtaking view! Breakfast was excelent, with lots of options, all of them delicious. Unfortunately, the restaurant was temporarily closed for lunch and dinner. We've booked the Eurostars Centro but were upgraded to this hotel for technical reasons, and were previously notified with unusual cordiality and profissionalism. Really great stay. Thanks to all the staff.

+ Excellent location – all major attractions and shops are within a 15–20 minute walking distance, + Breakfast was good and standard, similar to what you'd expect in other hotels of the same category – we only ate there once, as on the other days we opted for better breakfasts in nearby cafés that specialize in breakfast, + Excellent and cosy spa – clean, well-maintained, with very friendly staff and great masseuses. I recommend going on weekdays, as it gets quite crowded on weekends, + My request for a high floor was fulfilled, and we received a room with a fantastic terrace and a view of the town hall, + The hotel staff at the reception were very kind and helpful, + We used the laundry service – our clothes came back ironed, nicely folded, and smelling fresh

The location is perfect at the heart of old town, easily accessible on foot to attractions of the city, very convenient to enjoy the beauty of the streets and architectures, as well as the restaurants, cafes, stores and other amenities, the facilities are new, modern and clean, the room is spacious, with a balcony with superb city views, the bed is very comfortable, the pricing is quite reasonable compared with the quality provided.

I was hesitant to book here initially but hotel exceeded my expectations. Room was clean, spacious, staff were very friendly and helpful. We got food poisoning (not from hotel food!) and cleaning staff accommodated my request to clean the room as quickly as they could - and did a thorough clean. Also very centrally situated. Really value for money. Only pity was no restaurant for lunch/ supper but room service available and lots of places close by

The room was really huge! Perfect location — right at the metro exit. We had a room with a street view, very quiet, and the hotel was clean and well organized. There was a refrigerator in the room, a towel warmer, an excellent shower, and the breakfast was perfect as well, with a very large variety of food. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it.

This is a modern hotel with large, comfortable, clean rooms. The room had a small fridge; there was no coffee maker in the room. It was an easy 15 minute walk from the airport to the hotel, but they offer a free airport shuttle that runs every 30 minutes. All staff were friendly and helpful. Vanessa was kind enough to check me in a little early - much appreciated. She explained dinner options and how to reach downtown via the metro. I'm sorry I have forgotten the name of the gentleman (it started with 'M') who was at the front desk and drove the shuttle. He was friendly, helpful, efficient. Servers at the restaurant were also very helpful The Verdes Metro stop is an easy 5 minute walk away, from which the metro can be taken to get downtown in about 30 minutes. There are only a few restaurants within walking distance, but I ate at a gem (Tomar de Sal) that was about a 10 minute walk away.

Great hotel convenient for the airport! Pick up from airport was quick (it’s only a few minutes drive) & drop off no problem. The staff at this hotel are the most polite & helpful we came across in Porto. The hotel is stylish & smart. The food is good, although they had run out of a few things. Breakfast was fine with high quality coffee machine (Nespresso) etc. breakfast starts at 3:30am! The roof top pool is nice to have, view is a bit industrial. There’s no bar up there yet. The family room was clean, modern & spacious with 2 large comfortable beds. We had a view of the corn field. There was not noise at night although I don’t think the rooms are sound proof. Lots of cabin crew were staying here so must be a favourite airport hotel!

The room was very clean and fresh. The shower was spacious and the rain shower-head felt so good after traveling. The hotel bar is lovely, great drinks and food. The seating areas are spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly, welcoming and spoke English well. The free shuttle to and from the airport was very appreciated.

I stayed one night due to its close proximity ( 4 minute free shuttle ride) to the airport. I would stay again the staff were terrific. The hotel is clean , modern , has a rooftop pool if a little small, unfortunately it was too windy and cold to use but I did really enjoy the outside space. My room was spotless, large big bathroom with great shower. Bed was super comfortable. Fridge in room always a plus. Had evening meal that was nice and staff were lovely . I was amazed at the night front desk that not only gave me a wake up call but actually drove me to the airport , the guy was lovely, incredible hard working and went the extra mile for customer service, very professional. Two things the Hotel could improve upon and thats a kettle or coffee facilities in room as many flights like mine are a 03.00 am start and two coming in the oposite direction and arriving noonish would be a good time to check in, 15.00 though normal for a city hotel in way too late for an airport hotel. Arriving on a red eye flight you want to catch up, shower, snooze and start the day, your business day is over if you cant get into your room till 15.00. The employees throughout were incredible at service, friendly and professional.

I thought the hotel was new as it was so clean and modern. Our dinner was wonderful on arrival. The room was amazing with a large screen tv, twin beds as requested and super modern bathroom with spacious shower. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous, We were offered a shuttle to the airport at 4.00am and the driver was beautiful and very friendly even at that time in the morning.

Facilities in our room with kitchenette wete good. Loved the balcony looking out on to garden and lounger chairs. Beds comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful but forgot to get instructions acted on, eg re housekeeping and sorting out beds. Jacuzzi was great. It was a large pillared cool pool with lots of jets and good cool off after sauna/steam room.

Comfortable stay, helpful and friendly staff, great central location, good value breakfast and a nice rooftop bar with a garden area that was relaxing to sit in and chat in the evening and after breakfast and look over at the cathedral view or enjoy the fountain. Room/apartment was clean, and bed comfortable although one of my pillows a bit old I think. There is a gym with cycle, cross-trainer and running machine but an oddly random and very limited selection of free weights. There was no drinking water in the gym when I visited. We didn't try the spa/massage facilities, which are an advertised attraction. Bathroom towels seemed to be replaced whether placed on the floor or not. Guests departing by taxi on a weekend would be advised to allow plenty of time as traffic was heavy and traffic control system allowing selective access via a retractable bollard seemed not to work well so our taxi arrived over 20 minutes after the time arranged.

A little jewel. The street entrance from R. Da Flores does not seem impressive. Pretty tiles, simple lobby and check in area. Our villa on the 4th level was close to perfect. A lovely and spacious garden in the interior courtyard was our sanctuary. Views of the Porto tiled roofs and the Cathedral. Breakfast and bar area comfortable. My traveling companion scheduled a massage at the spa which she said was great. The location was convenient to everything. The immediate area has restaurants, bars, cafes, etc. Shopping good. Metro and local buses within walking distance. Staff was so nice and always helpful.

This hotel was exceptional from start to finish! The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was a fantastic size and had ample cooking facilities a fridge to store food items and a coffee machine with pods included. The roof top bar and gardens are overlooking the city it was a true hidden gem with many views in a bustling city. The bathroom and shower were massive especially for a city hotel there was a bidet and a walk in shower a nice touch the bed was comfortable, the living room was a nice and both all rooms had separate ac systems. A true 5 star city break experience.

This hotel was exceptional. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was a fantastic size and had cooking facilities and a fridge. The bar and garden overlooking the city was a true hidden gem in a bustling city. The bathroom and shower were ample size, the bed was comfortable, the living room was a nice added extra to sit and chill after roaming the beautiful city of Porto. I can't recommend this place enough a true 5 star experience. Can recommend the rooftop bar, try the staffs signature cocktails and enjoy the view. We didn't try the spa but I am sure it is fantastic.

We had a fantastic stay at Axis porto. All staff were very welcoming, professional yet friendly. Nothing was too much to ask for and they went out their way to make our stay special. We were able to relax and forget about everyday worries. The food is delicious and the service is exceptional. The beds are really comfortable! The hotel is spotlessly clean. It is located from a short uber ride from the airport and well connected to the city centre. Buses and train/metro station are only a 3-7minutes walk away.

The hotel provided great value for the price paid. It was clean, comfortable and modern. The restaurant served excellent food for dinner. Rui (at the front desk) was amazing with all kinds of helpful tips on what to do and what to see.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location Great hotel, beautifully located in a very central area. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and it’s super convenient,even grabbing an Uber to Porto was easy from here. The hotel is modern, clean, and has a great pool. I also booked a massage at the spa during my stay, and it was absolutely wonderful,highly recommend it for anyone looking to unwind. Overall, a lovely stay and I’d happily return.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning,. The swimming pool and Spa area are amazing, calm and relax place, more than I've expected. I'll back for sure.
