This has been my 3rd time at Opikopi Guesthouse and definitely not my last time! I absolutely love this guesthouse, I cannot praise it enough. Every single thing about this guesthouse is amazing! It’s beautiful, tranquil, quiet, friendly and helpful staff, the sweetest owners, they all will go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The food at their restaurant is amazing, the most beautiful and delicious food, everything made with love. I loved my stay here, and will definitely return again and again and again, thank you so much for a lovely stay, the friendliness and making me feel so welcome there. I can definitely recommend your guesthouse to any and everyone! It is the best of the best!

We had a wonderful experience at Oppikoppi. The location was perfect, offering both convenience and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, reflecting excellent attention to detail. The cleanliness throughout the guest house was impeccable. The food was delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared, adding to the overall enjoyment of our stay. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and would highly recommend Oppikoppi to anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant stay.

Excellent lodgings; very clean, large room and large bath with separate shower. Warm greeting from all staff; excellent food in onsite restaurant- full breakfast included with very resonably priced extensive dinner menu. Staff helpful in arranging transportation to and from hotel as well as tours. Would definitely recommend and return to this facility!

I arrived a day earlier than I had booked fore, but they still accommodated me. The house is very clean and stylish. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was tasty and the highlight of my day! Even though it wasn't the room I originally booked, it was still very comfortable and private.

Perfect stay with very friendly and helpful people. Very nice room with a wunderful terrace. We highly recommend Mr. and Mrs. Goodey, they gave us some great tips about the city and a good dining Restaurant called Dros which is very close. We would always comeback.

We've always wanted to book into this establishment and decided to spoil ourselves to stay overnight. From the moment we made the booking until we handed over our room key, all our expectations were exceeded. Smooth sailing with the booking, checking in and out – efficient and friendly. A welcoming chocolate, rose petals and ice-cold champagne awaiting our arrival. The romantic setting of this establishment surprised us with an elope wedding and engagement proposal secretly enjoyed by all, accompanied by the beautiful and unique voices of the waiters at the LeSi Restaurant. A fairy-tale gazebo, red carpet with sprinkled rose petals, charming freebees between a delicious three-course meal for two, crowned a perfect evening. To round it off, we were treated to a first-rate breakfast before having to say goodbye to such an awesome experience!

It was such a pleasant experience and suprise! It is romantic.....sooo romantic! The food is amazing! The wine is amazing! The effort you guys put in with the Gazebo bookings ... is amazing! It was worth every penny spent. I will definitely visit again very soon !

Location was wonderful. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was modern, neat and clean. Aircon was very effective. Breakfast was extremely tasty.

The breakfast was aa hearty farmers breakfast, eggs, bacon, sausage, roast tomatoes and fried mushrooms. The coffee, juice and granola parfait were included in the breakfast if you booked it along with the room. The second cup of coffee was included as well!

It's a nice and quiet place for reservations n they also got nice place to dine n their lavish tasty n tangy delicious food they also have a bar for adult beverage n place for hire . Conference rooms n birthday parties n weddings

Reception: very professional. Apartment: perfect, exactly as shown in the pictures. Furniture + Appliances inside the apartment: Spotless, and everything was working perfectly. Parking: Safe + included in the cost of the stay (no surprise bills when checking out). Only 1 x parking bay is allocated for the apartment that I booked. Security: Perfect + both the gentlemen who were manning the entrance were very polite and helpful. Location: Opposite Menlyn Maine shopping centre (safe walking distance). Opposite Menlyn Maslow Sun casino/entertainment centre (safe walking distance). 5 Minutes drive to Menlyn Mall.

This apartment was well appointed, modern and clean. It has a balcony and a great view. It is a short walk across the street to a good mall with all you need in terms of groceries, nice restaurants etc. The bed is comfortable, water pressure amazing and a luxury not to have loadshedding. The internet is fast, the appliances are up to date. The property managers are extremely responsive and gracious. It is hard to rate the service because the property managers are not the linked to the reception of the building.

This was the best apartment I've rented so far in this apartment block. I travel to Menlyn often for business and have stayed at many apartments in the same building and they all seem to lack something. This apartment had everything I needed. Spotless, fresh linen, comfortable bed, wifi, Netflix, aircon. I'm coming back soon!

The place is in a very quiet location. Very safe and peaceful. I was travelling with my wife and 3 children. We all liked the place including the kids. Owner/Manager welcome us in a professional and friendly manner. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Whenever we asked for anything extra like the extra mattress we requested on the second night, the staff was always helpful to assist us.

Peaceful, comfortable and safe place set amongst a beautiful garden. Equipped with everything you need including aircon, well stocked kitchen and pool. Host was welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend.

The host was professional, the place was lovely and my whole family loved it. Next time I visit I’m going to try their food. The place felt like a home, it was clean. The bed was comfortable, WiFi was fast and most importantly, the host was exceptional. Great value for money and they’ve put in good effort to secure our cars at their covered parking.

When we got to the venue(7/12/2024), I called Thomas who immediately picked up and indicated that he was still out but that Moffat was there to assist. A very friendly Moffat opened the gate and a garage for us to park our car. He then handed us the key , explained how it works and took us to our unit. We went via a place where we would get the towels in case we wanted to swim, yes there's a pool. The rooms are very spacious. The bathroom is very big with a tub and a shower, a big mirror and two basins(I loved this) The kitchen is equipped with everything you need in a self-catering unit. We didn't use the stove though as we bought takeouts; but the fridge, microwave and kettle worked very well. I also loved how private the units are and how quiet it was. The bushiness, when in there you forget that you are in the city. This place is 5min away from the Sunbet Arena. I was attending an evening concert at the Sunbet Arena so it was very easy and safe to get there. Menlyn Mall is also a few minutes away Our stay here was very short but we will definitely be coming back for a longer stay!

We were a family of 8 and booked 3 cottages. it was absolutely cosy, fresh and within a lovely, leafy, quiet surburb. we enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to our next stay someday. Thomas the host was very helpful and kind too. Highly recommended.

The breakfast was fine and the location was perfect for my needs. The venue is particularly peaceful and beatiful. What really impressed me was the staff. They made me feel like royalty, especially Boosy. The staff were exceptionally helpful and assisted and supported me where and whenever they could, especially Pieter, but also Thabo, Daniel and the others.

The Birdwood has been called a gem, and I completely agree. It is a beautifully peaceful green enclave in the embassy district of Pretoria. It is safe and very clean. The owners and staff are delightful. I hope to return soon.

The electric blankets and the jacuzzi bathtub

The flat was exactly as in the pictures, clean and spacious. The host was very friendly, commutative, and accommodating with our late departure as our travel arrangements were delayed due to illness. We were grateful for the electric blanket as the morning was chilly! My partner and I really enjoyed our stay, and hope to return to fully enjoy the peace and quiet. The garden/pool view from the flat is perfect for plant enthusiasts!
