The staff was great. They were always attentive. The manager was very nice and helpful. We were leaving for 2 days to Santa Marta and he helped us with leaving our luggage at the hotel and getting our week of clothes washed. The breakfast buffet was amazing. The hotel is very clean, modern, and centrally located. In addition, we felt very safe because each guest's hotel key will only work to go the floor their room is on and the public areas, NOT the other room floors..

The staff was professional welcoming and courteous. The room had a great view and was very clean. The hotel was quiet and in a good safe location.

This hotel is excellent value for money. The room was very quiet, peaceful and spacious. The staff were very friendly, particularly the young gentleman at the entrance who helps with the luggage (sorry I forgot his name). The food was very good we had breakfast and dinner all very tasty. The rooftop pool and bar are also very nice.

Staff was professional and super friendly. The restaurant served magnificent food with great presentations and our waitress made us feel right at home. The pool was cozy and fun. The one down side was that when you leave your room, all the power shuts down so that leaving something to charge is not going to happen, so I suggest plan ahead with that. Absolutely recommend

If you are coming to Barranquilla for Carnival, this is where you want to stay. The only negative comment I have regards to the air conditioning. This might not be a factor for you if you are from a tropical climate, which I am not. The interior of the hotel is not air-conditioned, and elevators are even a little bit hotter, so by the time you’ve taken the stairs to your room, the last thing you want is to open your door and have it be a sauna inside. I understand from an environmental perspective that it’s not always a good idea to leave the air-conditioning running if you are not in the room, but here you have to wait 3 to 4 minutes after you have put your key in the slot for the air conditioner to kick in and then another 10 before the room is comfortable, so literally every time you go to your room, you have to take a shower. that there is no hot water is no issue because of this But some might take exception of that. Same with the janky shower head. There was an issue with the electric key that they fixed, sort of, on the 4th time I was locked out of my room. The staff are absolutely amazingly helpful and gracious.

Place is good. They just need to do more to clean up certain areas. The entrance to the elevator needs to be cleaned on every floor. There is dirty windows with dust, dead little animals and it’s a nice view to the pool but clean those windows more often. It makes the hotel feel dirty. The Fingerprints all over the walls. All high traffic area where people put their fingers should be painted/cleaned and maintained more often. The staff of the hotel are all great. The room is very nice. The pillows are too big to sleep. It should be a big pillow and then a smaller pillow.

Consistently excellent service as to be expected from a Radisson Great experience for a one-night stay. Located in a good to great neighborhood, easy check-in (Jhon is a great service associate), and I was able to stay on the 12th floor which is pool level. Large open lobby, calming and clean. The room itself is a standard corner room with great lighting, a comfortable bed, good clean linens, spacious bathroom, fluffy towels, and quality toiletries. Good wi-fi and many sockets abound. The gym was functional and tidy but showing its age. Nice pool deck with an ocean view but I couldn't really use it because it was a tremendously windy day. Complimentary evening drink a generous gesture. I didn't do breakfast, I had an early flight outbound. Loved being on a higher floor for the wide views but they seriously need to clean the outside windows. Inside was fine, outside windows very dirty. Unfortunately it was a very windy evening. Tip: stay on the non-windy side if you are a light sleeper.

This is the third hotel in Barranquilla my friends and i have stayed at this year. We picked this place because it was part of the city yet to explore. There area is where many Clinics are located so it is a bit busy , but was easy walking around explore. an easy walk was parque Venezuela which we visited at night time, it was busy with activity even at 7pm. The whole area felt safe during the day and at night. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Our stay included breakfast each morning , I found it a typical breakfast you find at hotels in Barranquilla. The location allowed us to make an easy day trip to Salgar for a day at the beach. This hotel was a very safe and comfortable place to stay.

This is a business hotel with tastful modern styling. The room was spacious and clean and had all amenities we expected. The windows can be opened, something that is important to me. Breakfast was tasty, and when we tried the room-service we received a well prepared meal. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will certainly come back next time in Barranquilla.

The hotel in the city is a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. The pool high above the city has amazing views besides being relaxing. The breakfast was very pleasant and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The Hotel is located in the center of many Clinics, with many restaurant options also in the area making it easy to walk around, It is a quick taxi ride to two Malls and easy access if you want to head to the beach in Salgar or Puerta Colombia for the day. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included which is typical of what I have found at other other Hotels in Barranquilla. Parque Venezuela is a easy walk from the Hotel , visited at night time and felt safe walking around then grabbed a bite at a middle eastern restaurant close by . My friends and I enjoyed our stay here while getting to explore a part of Barranquilla for the 1st time.

Hotel Sites Barranquilla is an excellent choice, thanks to its exceptional staff and welcoming atmosphere. After a long trip, Julianne, Natalie, Juan, and Cesar at reception made us feel at home with their professionalism and kindness. Even the night receptionist, whose name I missed, was incredibly attentive and courteous. The room service and jacuzzi team, including Stephany, Sandra, and Mario, were outstanding. They kept everything spotless and were always courteous. Mario went above and beyond, trying to warm up the jacuzzi water, though it remained cold—something management should address. Waiting for the sun to warm it up was amusing but not ideal. Breakfast service, led by Brenda and a new chef, was good but inconsistent. Food was often leftovers and not warm, requiring us to request freshly prepared dishes. While the chefs were accommodating, this could improve to match the hotel’s reputation. The fitness room, temporarily relocated to a windowless space, felt claustrophobic, so we chose not to use it. The restaurant and bar, however, were a delight, with excellent food and drinks thanks to the chef and bartender. Unfortunately, the lack of ambiance, such as romantic lighting or music, diminished the experience. Better advertising of these services could attract more guests. Despite minor shortcomings, the incredible staff makes this hotel a gem. I highly recommend it and hope management improves areas like breakfast and jacuzzi maintenance to enhance future stays

I stayed @ Hotel Sites Barranquilla from July 7th to 14th, 2024, and my experience was exceptional. Brenda at breakfast was invaluable, guiding me through Colombian delicacies and ensuring my special omelet without cheese. She was always smiling and provided great city recommendations. Andrews at the bar crafted spectacular drinks on my request, showcasing his mixology skills and friendly demeanor. Jon Jon and Natalia at the day shift reception offered impeccable, warm service, making check-in seamless and providing excellent local tips. Caesar and John on the night shift were equally exceptional, meeting all my needs and offering helpful advice for my date. The housekeeping staff, though I regret not catching their names, kept my room spotless and fresh daily. The hotel's large jacuzzi comfortably fits over 20 guests, and on quiet days, I managed to swim laps. The fitness room is well-equipped with excellent air conditioning. The efficient laundry service returned clothes within 24 hours. While the breakfast was delicious, it could use more variety. The hotel is in a new area near Riomar and Puerto Colombia, one block from the Marriott, with a Bancolombia, pharmacy, and several outstanding restaurants nearby. Hotel Sites Barranquilla delivered excellent service, making my stay truly enjoyable. Housekeeping, especially Mario, Staph, and Sandra, was outstanding. Mario was also very helpful with the jacuzzi, although it was frozen—a maintenance issue that should be addressed. The breakfast was unexpectedly disappointing this time. The food was old, reheated leftovers with limited variety. However, Brenda, a new gentleman at breakfast, and the chef went above and beyond to prepare fresh dishes upon request. While the food quality was below standard, the dedication of the staff stood out. Reception and technical support were excellent, with outstanding service from Caesar, Julia, Natalie, Juan, and Jon. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the rooms were spotless, maintaining the high standards I’ve come to expect. Despite the breakfast setback, the warm, professional staff made the stay enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Sites Barranquilla for its exceptional service and comfort. I liked the breakfast options in the morning, staff was good for the most part, though I feel like the front staff at times lacked the hospitality that the other hotels offer, a smile or at least make you feel welcome, it seemed like they had other things going in their minds, no smile, just here is your room key goodbye, thanks for staying, and no eye contact. So a more hospitality would be appreciated, other then that the hotel was perfect, spacious rooms, comfortable beds great breakfast.

Faranda is located in a safe area of Barranquilla. There are many good dining options within a short walk of the hotel. The room that we stayed in was spacious, had a walk in rain shower with plenty of hot water. The balcony was a very nice place to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather and people watch. The facilities were all consistent with those found in the nicest hotels in the United States. The restaurant is located on the 10th floor and affords the guests a sweeping view of Barranquilla. The breakfast buffet had fresh fruits, made to order eggs, omelets, waffles, a variety of Colombian dishes such as rice, meats and even soups. The swimming pool is also located on the 10 floor with great views of the city. The pool was always clean and well maintained. The hotel has two elevators that fast and efficient. Air conditioning worked well throughout the property as did the high speed internet. The best part of the 19 night stay was the excellent service provided by the hotel staff.

Hotel is beautiful, luxurious, airy, comfortable, clean, friendly. Both restaurants had amazing food with super friendly and gracious staff. The decor was modern and elegant. The bed was amazingly comfortable and snuggly. Price point was great! Wifi was accessible everywhere in the hotel seamlessly. Staff is AMAZING!

The design and decoration of the hotel is impeccable. We felt as if we were in Paris or some place like that. Each detail is amazing from the roof top restaurant, the roof top pool, the check in area, and especially our room with private balcony all look like pictures in a magazine. I asked for a romantic detail for the room for my wife and me and they delivered a spectacular scene of roses, rose petals everywhere, a bottle of delicious wine in ice, and chocolate covered strawberries. It was like a movie. The attention and service were 10 stars, and everyone was so kind and helpful. We have never had service this good before. The employee are the best!!! The food is AMAZING!! We ate lunch, dinner, and breakfast at the roof top restaurant and the drinks were made perfectly, the food was some of the best I’ve ever had. The bartenders are number 1!

I booked a 3 night stay to unwind after a 3 week motorcycle tour of the Caribbean coast. It was amazing luxury in every way. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. It just has the nicest ’vibe’. The hotel is very quiet, the beds and linens are fantastic. The hotel and rooms are spotless, the neighborhood is quiet, safe and beautiful for walking. Breakfast was different every morning and always a big variety. Don’t miss trying their restaurant, also out of this world.

The hotel is situated at El Prado neighborhood, born as the first planned urban development in the country, where the principles of modern urbanism were applied for the first time to house exclusive homes. The hotel maintains idiosyncratic elements of the city as the use of the picturesque tiles as well as the industrial Art Deco in the rooms and common areas. Air conditioner, relaxing balcony, comfortable sofa inside the room and the best feature is the bed. Breakfast is in the 10th floor and brings a little bit of costeño gastronomy as fritos, soup, rices but also offers a varied options of fresh fruits, fresh ioghurt, cereals, Boulangerie and eggs. The best of the hotel is the customer service, at the front desk and pool area,independently if it’s day or night, they are always there to help you. Don’t forget to try the Italian restaurant downstairs: the tiramisu with panettone and fresh mascarpone is the star of the night. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful place to stay and enjoy the pool and Jacuzzi, exercise room, Salon to get a haircut, nice bar in the lobby, safe and close to everything. Want to give a special shout out to Jose and Juan Pablo in cafe bar, service excellent, beer ice cold. Restaurant staff always excellent, this time impressed with ? Armando, Cynthia, and Celena. Such good service and very attentive to all the guest. Front desk staff, with Yheis as manager, staff very good and quick service. Jose and Luis always attentive for guest luggage and any questions asked. They are very knowledgeable.

The highlight was the free breakfast buffet 😋. Scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, arepas, plantains, breads with ham and cheese, plenty of fresh fruit and juices and even fried rice. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable with king bed, two types of pillows, small table and chairs, desk area, dresser, fridge. Large closets, Bathroom has ample counter space, walk in shower and elongated toilet. Plenty of lotions, shampoo and conditioner. Pool area was ok, water cool and refreshing on a hot day. A few downsides: Lobby is being renovated as of February 2025. Windows in the room have some saltwater residue that makes for not the best view. Card key had to be refreshed after first day, could not get into our room. Pool and jacuzzi were overrun with niños, hotel needs to institute a policy that parents must accompany minors into the pool instead of sitting at the tables consuming alcohol.

Hotel Dann Carlton Is A Great Choice Safe And Secure In The Best Neighborhood In Barranquilla. The Hotel Hospitality Was Great, The Room Was Very Comfortable And Clean, And The Breakfast Buffet Was Deliciously Excellent, The Hotel Is Very Well Equipped With All The Amenities You Would Expect Huge Pool With Pool Side Bar With A Salsa Dj Who Played Great Music. Full Gym And Sauna On The Roof Top. And The Staff Was Awesome. And The Bigest And Most Popular Shopping Mall In The City Is Across The Street Which Is The Buenavista. Very comfortable, clean rooms, the breakfast was excellent with a large variety of items and the staff was very friendly. Good A/C and very quiet rooms. The pool was great and the location was even better next to the mall.

This iconic hotel has been talked about by my family for over 70 years as they previously lived around the corner and this was the main place they socialised. We visited Colombia from England and added 3 nights to our trip so we could visit Barranquilla to stay at the El Prado Hotel. It has a charming elegance from the moment you arrive. The hotel is like a seaside resort hotel in the middle of a big city. Despite the age of the hotel it is kept incredibly clean and well maintained. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. I loved the old photos inside the lifts. The breakfast had a good selection to choose from and the food was very tasty. Food at the pool bar was a good quality and well presented. The swimming pool looked so inviting so we went for a dip. The temperature was good and pleasant to be in (I hate cold pools). We would definitely visit again if we return to Colombia.

I especially loved the breakfast and the swimming pool. Whenever I needed anything, the staff was very responsive, professional and friendly. I liked the safe, the refrigerator, the coffee and coffee machine in my room. Now you just need to add a microwave oven.

The Movich Buró 51 was fantastic the property is clean, very fashionable, and professional. The staff was very helpful and always very accommodating! Unlike some other properties I’ve stayed at in Barranquilla the front desk staff always has Colombian money to break down larger bills. The room was very clean the housekeepers always had the room clean by 12:00pm which was very convenient. The room was clean and tidy and the temperature was always comfortable. The bathrooms were very spacious. Overall I really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back again!

I recently stayed at this hotel for 2 days, while visiting Colombia. This is a beautiful hotel. The suite was amazing. The staff was very friendly & professional. Most specifically , the front desk staff & the restaurant staff. They were outstanding. And the food at the restaurant was delicious. My girlfriend & I had a lot of fun at this beautiful hotel in Barranquilla. I will definitely stay at this beautiful hotel again the next time I’m in Barranquilla! Very nice hotel, clean and all the people very friendly! The breakfast buffet was very delicious, and some of them from Colombian traditions! I didn’t have the chance to be at the pool. At the restaurant, it has a terrace with a beautiful city view, Rio Magdalena and even you can see the ocean! I highly recommend it!!
