I had an excellent stay at this hotel in Punta Arenas. Everything was very comfortable, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the service made me feel truly welcome. The rooms were cozy and well-kept, the staff attentive, and the overall experience both relaxing and enjoyable. The food was also delicious, which made the stay even better. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and delightful place to stay.

Great place to stay. Hotel staff were helpful and responsive (English speaking). Booked a very good taxi transfer, rooms were clean and comfortable - good shower, quiet location. Fabulous restaurant for dinner. We only stayed one night between flights but would recommend.

Clean and modern rooms. Very friendly and helpful service. Breakfast is very nice with long hours. Parking is tricky because the lot is small. Street parking in the area often has a fee, but you can kind parking a couple blocks away for free

Staff and breakfast. Clean and neat place. We were moved to king bedroom from queen bed upon request. My daughter got herself locked in the bathroom and staff was quick and very helpful. Restaurant staff was amazing too.

Hotel ws very comfortable and in an excellent location with walking distance to all kinds of restaurants, ocean, coffee shops, shops, attractions etc.. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Hotel staff was absolutely amazing, caring and very helpful!

Perfect for us for 2 nights. Room was clean, bed comfortable and king size, shower was hot. We were up and out early each morning for tours so didn’t have breakfast. Around the corner from bus sur ( very convenient, Grocery store across the street and a 5 minute walk to center and great location for walking around the town and the Cemetary. Connie and Brian, the hosts were very helpful. Great restaurant a block away , went both nights. From outside looks deceiving but very safe

Great little hotel in the middle of downtown Punta Arenas. The room was small but sufficient for our needs and included a fridge, comfortable bed, and other amenities. There is lots of shopping and great restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful by providing packed lunches for our early morning tour as well as a delicious breakfast at the hotel the day we left. The staff also provided helpful recommendations for grocery shopping, dinner options, and great housekeeping during out stay.

Very helpful and friendly staff. They assisted us with arranging taxis when needed and recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner that is just around the corner. Clean, quiet and comfortable private room. Excellent breakfast.

Good location, close to everything you may need. Personnel is just perfect, very helpful and friendly. Room has everything you need: clean, hot water, comfy bed, heating. Breakfast is fine: home made yoghurt with fruits, fried eggs and cheese sandwich and good coffee. Just perfect start of the day!

The staff are the sweetest people! They made us feel so welcome. They steered us with a recommendation to a great family owned restaurant for dinner, then fed us a delicious homemade breakfast the next morning. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean, it had everything we needed. The location was secure and safe for two female travelers.

We stayed at Hotel Albatros multiple times on our visit to Patagonia and were very happy and comfortable here. The hotel is very charming and welcoming with cute decorations and a big comfy bed and sheets. We had a room with a king bed and en suite bathroom and found that it was always clean and contained everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The room/bathroom heaters worked well to keep us warm. The breakfast spread was probably one of the best we had on our trip to Patagonia - breads, croissants, meats, cheeses, cakes, yogurt, fruit, cereal, fresh cooked eggs (depending on who was working), coffee, and tea were available every morning. Everyone who worked here was very helpful, though they mostly spoke Spanish. I even had one receptionist help me track down my lost luggage at the airport and helped me get it delivered here. The hotel is located a few blocks from the main square so it is easy to walk to central Punta Arenas and the surrounding area. The hotel itself is a few door down to some seedy looking bars and clubs (gentlemen's clubs and dive bars) with people hanging around outside at all hours of the day. Although slightly displeasing to walk by in the evenings, we were never bothered by anyone or really ever felt unsafe. I would highly recommend staying here!

Such a lovely small hotel. Recently refurbished to a high standard. Comfortable beds with fresh white linen. Pretty touches in the breakfast room such as cutlery holders and the hotel name on the table cloths. Breakfast eggs are cooked fresh to order which is amazing. Toast, cheese and ham plus yogurts and tea and coffee are offered. Lovely cushions adorn the rooms. Again a pretty touch. The owners are a lovely couple. Both friendly and helpful and everywhere is immaculate. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The property was clean & comfortable in a good location that was walkable to Museums, the Cathedral, restaurants, downtown, the Straits of Magellan sea walk. The bed was comfortable & the shower was great. The breakfast was filling with real bean coffee, eggs made to order & homemade sweet breads. It was a great value for our money. My husband & I were in Chile for 3 weeks & stayed at 6 different lodgings. From a ranch near Terra Del Paine, to an upscale hotel in Santiago. The Albatros Hotel was our favorite lodging in Chile because, beyond providing all of the above noted features- there was a lot of pride in ownership seen throughout the lodging, in little & big ways. Roberto, one of the owners, greeted each guest by name daily. At check-in he asked what our plans were & could he assist with recommendations, tours or taxis or museums, etc. He provided a map & circled all the places we were interested in. He informed us that the Magellan penguin tour had been cancelled the past several days- due to weather-he offered to get us a private tour to the Fort & taxi rides to a museum & the airport. It took an hour or more work off of me to find & translate & figure out prices etc. So, I really appreciated him doing this service for us- at no cost & the private tour & taxi rides were the same cost as advertised elsewhere. This extra attention & service is not offered at this level, at most places.

Thanks to Punta Arenas' grid layout, Hotel Albatros is easily accessible on foot from the Bus Sur bus terminal (6 minutes). This well-maintained hotel exudes the authentic English atmosphere of a 1980s guesthouse. Friendly host Roberto goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. He's always available to provide additional information and assistance, or to offer a delicious, simple breakfast (excluding fresh fruit). The location is also ideal for walking to the Strait of Magellan, O'Higgins Street with its many restaurants, and the Plaza de Armas. Even though it's winter and whale watching or penguin nesting sites aren't possible, Punta Arenas, with its museums and delicious restaurants, offers a pleasant way to explore southern Patagonia.

the rooms are clean and the bed is comfy, showers are hot n water flow is good. Wasn't sure about the fact that you can't throw toilet paper into the toilets. all the rooms are on one floor ad the first time i was there, my room was in the front of the building which was really noisy and it was also just next to reception desk and front door. When i came back to Punta Arenas after my visits to P.Natales, i was given a room further back n it was much quieter. They were also very accommodating with providing breakfast before their usual times. Most of the tours will start before their breakfast timings, so it was good to get some packed breakfast. In the breakfast room, they have a kettle, so you're allowed to make your own coffee/tea. Overall, its a nice comfy room with a telly.

This hotel is very pleasant and homey. The location is convenient, very close to the main square in town where the tourist information centre is located. My room was on the small side, but fine for a single person. Everything was clean and functional. The breakfast buffet was good with a selection of typical breakfast foods. Breakfast is served in a wood paneled room that has a fair bit of character. The staff in the breakfast room and at the front desk were all cheerful and friendly. Friends were staying at hotels which were a very short walk away but were much more expensive. I was glad to have stayed at the smaller, cozier Isla Rey Jorge for a much more reasonable price.

Lean comfortable hotel no bar or restaurant but plenty nearby. Rooms were well decorated clean and roomy. Hotel is well located and within easy reach of restaurants bars and shops. Staff were very good and 24 hour coffee available. WiFi available but a little parr has but OK.

It is an old mansion, was already 100 ago a hotel, with a lovely Fassade and a winter garden in the front, where the tea and coffee station is located. Nice sofas, antiques, and a lot of old paintings framed on the walls. I love the style! Our room was spacious and has a nice and very clean bathroom. Space for the bags and Rucksacks, and a wardrobe, a table with TV. Free and good wifi. We like it! The breakfast is served in the cellar, a bit dark, but ok. Friendly helpful staff. Great place to stay!

The staff at reception were kind, attentive and helpful every time we were in need of something. The breakfast was very good, the bed comfortable and the shower powerful. The living room near the reception was very helpful after we checked out given the late departure of our flight.

I stayed 3 nights here Room was small but very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. WiFi was ok. Breakfast was average nothing hot. Hotel is close to town centre so you're a short walk to restaurants etc.

The neighborhood and the hotel stay were both lovely. I regretted only staying for one night and definitely want to come back. Location: The neighborhood where the hotel is situated is safe and beautiful, with plenty of charming and friendly restaurants, cafes, and bars within walking distance. The fact that they operate from early morning till late at night is great, and it's also a safe area at night. Facilities: The hotel has been newly remodeled, making it clean, pleasant, and attractive. The hot water works well, and there's nothing to complain about. The bedding is also very comfortable. Staff: Everything went smoothly, and the staff were friendly yet professional. Breakfast: Perfect breakfast. The ham and cheese are well-stocked, and the scrambled eggs and fruits are especially delicious

Fantastic hotel, the superior room with seating area, table and chairs, luxury shower room, big king size bed was exceptional. The restaurant menu was excellent and food quality great value. The breakfast buffet was superb, eggs cooked to order, cold meats and cheeses, breads, fresh juices, fruit and a selection of baked cakes. Coffee on tap just fill up as much as you want. Dinning area was again luxurious designed. Staff were helpful. The location just perfect for walking around Punta Arena and exploring restaurants. Value for money hotel with luxury.

Great location with a partial view to the sea on one side and very central to easily see all the attractions. Very fancy inside. The staff were nice and useful. The rooms size was very decent, clean and had all the amenities needed. Water fountains for cold and hot water are on every floor which was convenient. We stayed only one night, but it was what and as we expected. The breakfast was rather poor as it did not have anything that would be suitable for vegan/vegetarian, decent/good coffee options only if paid. The onsite restaurant closes very early, we tried to book it before our arrival, but no one provide us any response on that, so when we arrived at 9 pm we were told the kitchen was already closed, but we got some recommendations from the front desk on the restaurants around. Beware the parking available for guests is 2 small blocks away and not covered, but the front desk provides the remote key and instructions, load and offload of the luggage is possible in front of the hotel.

Hotel Cabo de Hornos is wonderful. I stayed overnight in my way home from Patagonia to the US and would absolutely stay again when I return to this incredible part of the world. The staff was welcoming and efficient, the room was lovely, extremely comfortable and had a gorgeous panoramic view of Strait of Magellan. The rain head shower was a very nice touch after active days farther north, as was the comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was very good also. Will be back and highly recommend.

Our room in tower 2 was spacious and well-designed. Hotel seemed very new and fresh. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Convenient to attractions downtown and close to many good restaurants.

Charming historic hotel with excellent service We stayed at Hotel Plaza, located in a beautiful old historic building. While it can be a bit noisy at times, the bed was very comfortable and the shower had been nicely updated. The room was a bit small for two people, but it was manageable. Our room was cleaned daily, and the staff were extremely attentive and helpful — they arranged taxis for us and even offered laundry service, which was very convenient despite being charged per item. Breakfast was good: not overly varied, but satisfying with eggs, ham, cheese, cereal, fruit, coffee, milk, and yogurt. We had a direct view of the Plaza de Armas, which was lovely. The location was perfect — within walking distance to most restaurants and shops.

The Hotel Plaza's location is excellent, close to beautiful gardens, historic buildings and restaurants. I enjoyed the old world decor with plenty of varnished woodwork. The room was clean and well appointed with a modern bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The standout attraction was the excellent breakfast served by friendly staff in the beautiful, spacious and light filled dining room.

Very clean and comfortable hotel in the centre of town. We had a lovely room with big windows overlooking the central square. Friendly staff who were extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

Firstly the location was so central that all the key parts of the town were in walking distance. Apart from the great positive staff the place offered the use of kitchen where one could have hot water, coffee and also cook one’s food anytime except for breakfast time. The place was also on the pick up points list for tour operators which was very convenient. It was clean and well heated for the weather

The breakfast didn’t have eggs, so we purchased breakfast at a restaurant. The staff was super accommodating with a delivery order and with supplying utensils like forks and knives. The location was a good walking distance from other restaurants and coffee shops. The old-fashioned style of the building was charming.

Excellent 2 days in this charming hotel in a very important historic building right in the centre of Punta Arenas. Taxi booked by hotel to meet us at the port arrived punctually and were able to check in early. Room with very high ceilings and opening windows ( though it was very windy so not very practical!) Bathroom compact but nonslip rubbermat in bath thoughtful. Minor issue with flushing mechanism of toilet which we resolved ourselves but did report. Delightful sitting around spaces on ground floor including the cosy Shackleton Bar ( which shows English Premier league matches and has extensive bar menu) the conservatory with grapevine and the lobby itself.Staff friendly and helpful and most spoke very good English.Buffet breakfast limited but plenty enough with fruit, cereal, bread+( cheese,jams and meat) cakes Location very central with tree filled Plaza de Armas across road, Regional Museum around the corner, on a major shopping street and 20 mins walk( steep last bit) to viewpoint and 15 mins to waterfront promenade( lots of traffic but good walk by sea with many birds nesting on old jetties)

The hotel is located in the city center. Facilities are well updated. The bar and restaurant is fantastic with a really nice setup and a good selection of tasty foods and drinks. Highly recommend this hotel for Punta Arenas. Service at the bar and restaurant and the hotel is very good. The breakfast buffet is good but no hot foods. Wifi is not working consistently. The room is relatively small, but the bathroom is standard size with the tub.

Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk and the restaurant, willing to work through language differences to understand and resolve a crucial dietary restriction. Beautiful historic building well maintained and comfortable, great location. Modestly appointed rooms, very clean and comfortable. Nice variety of items for breakfast, served in a beautiful glass atrium.

We stayed here because of the Shackleton Bar. I know it sounds weird but it’s true. The front desk staff was exceptional, helped us with tours, boarding passes and general knowledge. Besides Shackleton Bar don’t miss the bar/restaurant in the basement. We ate there twice and both times it was good. LOVE the atmosphere. Breakfast was outstanding, they will even do eggs the way you like them. Do not go to the Beagle restaurant down the street a few blocks. It’s horrible!

The hotel is really beautiful, the rooms are a little small, but comfortable, the bed are also cozy and very clean. the breakfast is good enough, but we have a bad experience in our first breakfast, the staff in the breakfast was very rude and unpolite, we were the only people at the breakfast room, but no one came to check if we need anything. but in general we have a good experience

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful when trying to book excursions. The room was clean spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection however the coffee machines were not working on both mornings but instant coffee was available. The hotel was well situated to explore the area.

The hotel room was spacious, but tired decor and woollen blankets on the bed. I did not like this at all!. Shower on first day would not warm up. The following 2 days it was fine shower curtains are not great water tends to go everywhere. Rooms feel stuffy and no ac. If you open the window it’s very noisy so you cannot sleep. Breakfast was not great. Toasters not working properly. No coffee machine just the jugs. Very poor selection, only hot food available was scrambled eggs which looked awful. Staff in the restaurant for breakfast very slow, first morning the eggs were not put out until well after breakfast started at 0630. The cold cuts and cheeses were not kept topped up and ran out in no time. I don’t think I would choose to stay here again.

A lovely hotel with amazing staff. Cleaners very helpful and lovely and cleaned my room everyday. Restaurant staff amazing and so so helpful. Some of the reception staff are amazing. There is a guy in a white shirt at the reception he’s not helpful at all. My bag with passport, purse and everything got stolen at the airport check in. I had to extend my stay in Chile as a result of this. I needed to go to the police station and asked for a shuttle to take me. He told me the shuttle can drop me in the airport but not at the police station which is somewhere on the airport grounds. I am English speaking and not from Chile plus have no idea of how to get around and translate things with no internet. He was very horrible. The female manager was also horrible. I went and complained to her about him and she behaved like she couldn’t understand me even though I used the English Spanish translator. After several attempts to explain I told her I would write a review instead. I stayed at the hotel from 31st August to 8th September and every time she saw me she gave me dirty looks. If it wasn’t for the manager and the white shirt guy I would rate the treatment/service as 5 stars. The facilities are ok and they have an outdoor sauna and a pool plus a shuttle to and from the airport.

Great price and location. The most family friendly place we stayed at during our Chile trip - right down to the heated pool - WITH KID TOYS (pool floaties, noodles!). Best continental breakfast. Great WIFI. Able to have an hour long phone call sorting out flight issues. Staff are fluent in English and very helpful. Very helpful to have restaurant on site with accommodating hours.

Lovely place. Nice rooms amazing views of the sea nice walk to the town! Great cheap shops loads of things to see in the are. The staff are amazingly helpful. Highly recommended. Rooms are cleaned daily food in the restaurant is OK the staff go the extra mile to help! Nice lounge area !

The manager at the hotel was super helpful and friendly. Even though my Spanish is very rudimentary, and his English was equally limited, he used an online translator to help carry out a conversation. The first room we were given was right by the road and very noisy, but the manager moved us to a quieter room immediately after we requested this change. The room was small but clean and comfortable enough for us as a couple. The free breakfast was simple but adequate to get us going. The location is convenient and we could walk to some good restaurants nearby. Overall a good hotel for the price, and the manager and the staff made our stay very comfortable.

This small hostal is very clean and quiet. The staff are extremely helpful and pleasant, and breakfast was good. There is no kitchen, tea and coffee are not available except at breakfast. The beds were comfortable, but sheets a bit thin and pillows a bit lumpy. Downtown sights and several excellent restaurants are within easy walking distance.

Very short walk to bus station. Easy walk to restaurants. Our room faced the street, but did not experience any traffic noise. Comfortable beds. Good Heating in room. Clean. Excellent breakfast. This is a very simple, clean, safe place to stay for short time. The price is right. I rate high because it is a bed, breakfast and private bathroom,clean, no frills value for your money. Our reason for choosing this location was close walk to bus station.

Located just round the corner from the Bus Sur station where the bus arrives from Ushuaia and only a 5-8 minute walk from the main square on a quiet street this is a great spot. Not immediately obvious among the many hostals in the area, there is a small sign outside. Downstairs there is a nice reception area with tables for breakfast, a small lounge area and some rooms. More rooms are upstairs. Our room was at the back (so nice and quiet) and upstairs (and very hot, so perhaps worth trying a downstairs room in the warmer months of the year). Clean and comfortable, with a great shower. We had to catch an early plane so left before breakfast but they kindly provided a packed breakfast for us to take with us.

We had a perfect stay in hostal ventisqueros. Jose was very attentive from the first moment, explained the highlights of the city and even arranged transportation to the airport for a reasonable price. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. The place looks newly renovated, just as shown in the pictures. Breakfast is a true highlight in this property, there was coffee, tea, milk, different juice options, breads, and pastries. Please do not hesitate to book here! I would come back if I had the chance.

The location and the old style, it took us back to the good all times. Hearing the church bells. The music in the corridor and dinning area was excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Staff doesn't speak much of English but they tried and try to help. Location is super! Every must see places are very close. And Cerro de la Cruz, the view point was only 5 mins walk, you can get up there to enjoy sunrise and the town with ocean backdrop!

The receptionist went out of her way to assist me. it was ideally situated, however being a Sunday everything was closed for the day I was there. Walked around as much as possible but could not visit any museums etc. The breakfast was good.

Good location, close to shops and plaza and boardwalk along the staight. The hotel has good bones, high ceiling. Shower, reasonably good. what they give you. A good value.

The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Punta Arenas and has modern facilities, including 24-hour reception, a full bar and restaurant. Breakfast was awesome, with tons of fancy pastries and nice coffee, plus heaps of eggs, meats, cheeses, and fresh breads. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Wi-fi is reliable, if not as fast as some locations in Chile that we stayed. We ate dinner in the restaurant since everything else was shut down for the holiday; the food was unexpectedly really quite delicious, the servers attentive and thoughtful even though they were slammed, and the bar serves nice cold Austral Calafate Ale on tap. Staff very helpful throughout our stay in arranging a taxi in the morning of New Year's Day and storing some beers in their bar fridge.

Hotel Los Navegantes has decent rooms, a great lobby, a great included breakfast, and centrally located in Punta Arenas. The cost was affordable for a decent, comfortable, and clean room and the breakfast was great. If you'd like to customize a breakfast item or eat something not at the buffet, you can ask the staff and they'll be happy to help out.

Everything was good except for the beds. Maybe they could invest in more comfortable mattresses. This being said, it was fine for a night. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

I loved this hotel. It was modern, clean, charming, and comfortable. We stayed for one night on our return from Torres del Paine. While the location was not central, it was not a problem. It was an easy walk from the bus station, and then back into the downtown area. The guys at the front desk were super friendly, and spoke excellent English. The wifi and free breakfast were both on point. The rooms are are bright and feel very spacious. The bathroom was modern and clean.

This simple, cozy little gem is full of Patagonian warmth. In a quiet safe area of Punta Arenas, only about five easy walking blocks from the dead center of town historical square and shops. Nice large breakfast/living room that has WIFI, large TV, comfortable sofas, bright and cheerful. Room a little smaller than in chain hotels, but that adds to the cozy feeling this place exudes, and the room was definitely very clean and fresh smelling. I would definitely stay again if trying to do excursions or boat cruise out of Punta Arenas and need sweet warm place to stay for one or two nights.

Very clean, modern and quiet location close to city center. Hotel staff were cordial, friendly and especially helpful in helping us to find a parking place. We enjoyed our stay at this location. The complementary breakfast was a standard fare of usual selections.

We stayed here for one night before our trip back to Santiago. It was a good location in a residential neighborhood and within walking distance of downtown. The WiFi worked great and they had HBO in English (with Spanish subtitles). The bed was comfortable and we had a good night's rest. The bathroom is small and I had some issues with the shower (no need to turn the faucet on to full blast). The breakfast was one of the best we had in our two week stay in Chile with a good selection of food. The front desk staff were welcoming, kind and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again when visiting Punta Arenas.

Clean and fairly large rooms. The hair dryer in the large bathroom was better than the one in a 4*Hotel in santiago. Breakfast buffet OK, but probably not rich enough for US and UK guests. Staff was very helpful to get me into the best possible tours, although I was there off season. It was very clear that they are well connected in the local tour operator - community. Excellent value for the money. A bit off the center of town. It takes you about 10-15 Minutes to the main areas of interest (restaurants, waterfront, plaza de armas). But I found Punta Arenas perfectly safe for walking back to the hotel around midnight.

We stumbled onto this cruise by accident researching Patagonia. Considering this was our first cruise (not a fan of large liners) it eceeded all our expectations. It has a capacity of about 200 people but we were only about 150. An eclectic mix people from all corners of the globe, a mix of cultures and languages but who enjoyed each other company for a short period of time. The six of us that by chance set together had a ball. The trip we took was from Punta Arenas in Chile to Ushuaia in Argentina - 4 nights. Scenery is amazing and two excursions a day very interesting and educational. We were not lucky to land on Cape Horn as that morning we had 100km winds, but the rest were great excursions. Food is great, breakfast and lunch are buffet style but dinner is full service fine dining. Dress casual. Bar is open throughout the day until midnight and a variety of drinks flow freely. After midnight you are free to stay and enjoy and entertain yourself. Which we did!!! Staff is friendly helpfull ang go out of their way to accomodate the guests. Pricey but worth the experience.

One of those hotels established long ago, but still in a good shape. Excellent location, great cafe which serves breakfast and has large pristinely cleaned windows to enjoy street view. Breakfast is among the best in town (becaused served in the cafe) - nothing out of ordinary, but made of delicious and fresh produce. Rooms can be somewhat noisy as many rooms face the streets, but not a big deal (for me). Friendly service, reception speak good English, in cafe English is a problem, but you can use Google translator (as on many occasions these days).

Very nice hotel. Room was good, clean and spacious. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Central location just up the road from town square and short walks to local sights. Easy for taxis and tour pick ups to find. Highly recommend. Would stay there again.

Very clean and friendly hotel. Great location - just a block from the bus station and close to all of downtown. Staff was super friendly and helped us with reservations and finding food during the New Year’s weekend when everything was closed. Owner/Manager Juan Carlos was super helpful. Breakfast was good in the pub next door.

. Ventus Australis is Latin for “southern winds.”We booked the roundtrip cruise from Punta Arenas to Ushuaia and back to Punta. And we were so very glad that we did that. We were on the 7th voyage of this recently launched ship. The days were filled with information briefings, films, zodiac landings, great food, incredible unfolding natural beauty of rugged savage mountain fjords with tumbling waterfalls, glaciers, icebergs and shifting changing skies. Our spacious double bed cabin of 177 sq ft was on the Cabos del Hornos 4th deck. The staff were fantastic. From our two waiters: Alex and Brandon, to the multi-lingual expedition leaders with special thanks to: German, Luciano, Cristian, and Guste. Senior bartender Manuel served great drinks as well as braving the icy waters to insure safe landings at Cape Horn. Since we did a round trip, we sat at two different assigned tables. The first was a round table for eight. We called ourselves the “International Table” with couples from USA, England, Switzerland and Germany. The second table of 8 were USA and Canada. What we would change/suggest about this impressive cruise experience? Dinner at an earlier hour. The multi-course dinner commences at 8pm. That is late for us and for most of the guests we asked.

The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Our room was perfectly clean. We enjoyed how breakfast was left in the room for us. We could eat at our convenience. The kitchen was equipped with everything you would need to cook and came with complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks. The location is also great. Town square, cafes, bars, and restaurants all within easy walking distance. Close to the water. Lovely stay.

Perfect location, comfortable & spacious room, friendly staff! They let us leave our bags early & accommodated our early check in request. The room was clean & the beds were super comfortable. Location was close to everything - we walked everywhere. Super close to delicious breakfast spots!

The staff is excellent and almost feel like family. The room was quite comfortable and the bed was very comfortable. The location is fantastic and walkable, close to restaurants, coffee shops and a 2 minute walk from the big super market. This is a great property with a very cozy feel to it and very clean. I will definitely stay here again if I can get back to Punta Arenas!

Very comfortable Apartment and exceptionally clean. Really comfortable bed and very quiet. Good kitchen facilities. A large supermarket 5 minutes away. Good WIFI. Breakfast contents are left in the room every evening. it’s a small breakfast but can be topped up from the Supermarket. also location is really close to the center.

The Apart Hotel Endurance is a surprise behind a rustic exterior. We were welcomed into a cozy apartment stocked with food for us to prepare and eat for breakfast on our own time table. There was plenty. The room was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. We reserved parking and were given a space in an enclosed lot across the street. The Hotel is very centrally located to all the important places downtown. One suggestion is to have a bath mat in the shower which can be slippery.

Clean spacious apartment. Nice view of rooftops and the sea from second floor bedroom. Not right in center of town but certainly walkable to center and restaurants. Parking right in front of apartment within gate. Wifi not that good.

Very friendly staffs. Self checkin/out was very convenient. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The washing machine was very good. WiFi was smooth. It’s near bus station.

The host was extremely welcoming. The apartment, although basic was comfortable and cleaned daily. The beds were comfortable and also made daily. It is at the top of an unmade road which may be problematic for those with limited mobility but the plus side of that is quiet with very little traffic noise

-spacious and comfortable apartment -flexible checkout as we got in very late from Torres del Paine -amazing host!!! Oscar helped us so much with all our troubles, he even helped us pick up our laundry and call the police -great location, walking distance to downtown and restaurants

Gustavo was the perfect host. A taxi (requested through the hostal in advance) picked me up at the airport. Gustavo met me at the front door, showed me around and answered all questions, even though I arrived around 9:00pm. He gave me his phone number so I could contact him via WhatsApp if I had questions without leaving my room. He was always helpful with a smile. The room was clean and spacious enough. The double bed was comfortable with extra pillows. The bathroom was private, clean and nicely heated. Shower was good. Thick towels. Gustavo's two large outside dogs were an added bonus. Very friendly and well-behaved.

Amazing stay at this hostal. Gustavo, the host, was really helpuful and gave me recommendations for things to do around the city. My room was warm and comfortable, the place is clean and well-maintained. Breakfast was nice and filling and the breakfast room is super cozy. Also there is a washing machine free to use. Excellent location, just a short walk from the main street and the beach, very close to the mirador viewpoint. I totally recommend this place.

The place was really nice for a short stay in Punta Arenas. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient, with up to 15 minutes of walking distance to the main sights. The room and the kitchen were equipped with everything needed, the house was clean. Good reception of wifi in all parts of the hostal. The breakfast was also fine. Also, there was a washing machine and a dryer. If you like dogs, additional benefit woukd be two super lovely dogs that will be happy to get some attention.

The host was very friendly. The breakfast was delicious. Our room was spacious with a nice view of the city. Everything was clean. We were able to do laundry, which was a bonus.

Loved the central location, close to the plaza and the beach. The bus stations, both local and regional, are right around the corner. The rooms are clean and spacious. The owner, Gustavo is friendly and accommodating and has the cutest dogs I’ve ever seen. Thank you!!

Arturo made us feel welcome from the very start, he was super friendly and helpful throughout our stay, offering recommendation’s in the local area and booking us a taxi to the airport. Our room was nice with very comfortable beds (and a kettle in the room) and the accommodation was gated and so it felt very secure. The communal area was spacious with a nice view of the sea, and fast 5G wifi. The breakfast was also exceptional for a free hostel breakfast, with plenty of choice, included eggs on request. We felt like this hostel was really good value for money and wouldn’t hesitate to rebook.

The Host was amazing, he helped us with everything and made our stay very comfortable The room was clean and quiet with a wonderful view. He prepares for us a breakfast bag as we left the hotel very early. Highly recommended with amazing price/ quality ratio.

Comfortable, clean and warm in this cold climate. Hosts are super friendly and helpful. Bed is comfortable, room is a bit small but cozy. Good breakfast, they will also give you snacks if your tour starts early. Super recommended!

Breakfast was very good. Simple but good. Arturo was very welcoming and attentive and gave us a bag of goodies for breakfast because we had to leave very early. The room was spacious, the shower was hot, beds were comfortable.

Our room (on an angle) had a superb view of the incoming boats which was very interesting. It is situated up a hill so real birds’ eye look. Modern room. Great shower. Lovely relaxing room for reading a book/taking in the view. Usual breakfast served with a smile. Nice staff though no English. Would stay here again. Parking outside but off the road. Not far to walk into town. Very good value.

The facilities were excellent: the room, breakfast, sunny inner courtyard, & lounge, modern bathroom, large comfortable bed, upgraded linens & towels . There was an immediate response to questions.. Also the location was close quiet & only a couple of blocks from the centre of town. Pablo, the manager/owner, was very helpful when we tried to solve a problem we had with our cell phone connections. He provided directions & translation. Pablo also arranged taxi service to the airport. We definitely recommend Hostal Boutique Puerta Roja to all those looking for comfortable, clean & affordable accommodation.

Really helpful staff and smooth check in process. The room was large, warm and clean. Big comfy bed and great shower. Nice common spaces with a clean kitchen. Simple but pleasant breakfast included with toast/cereal and tea/coffee. Safe in bedroom appreciated. Upscale atmosphere for a hostel with good attention to detail high standards throughout.

Quiet, cozy, comfortable, great WIFI. Big rooms, great shower, modern minimalist decor. Lovely and well presented breakfast that could be eaten in or taken as packed. Pablo speaks good English and he and his staff arranged all our taxis when required. Just an 8 minute walk down to the town's main street.

Very clean, modern boutique hotel. Our room was very comfortable, specially the king size bed. We had one of the rooms facing the street, but the windows isolated well the street noise. Pablo, the host, was extremely helpful and gave us good recommendations, specially the restaurant that we chose for the first lunch there which was delicious (La Yegua Loca). The taxi driver he called for a half day excursion to Fuerte Bulnes (Juan) was very friendly and knowledgeable, and suggested many interesting places along the way. Very nice stay.

Our stay at the hostel was fantastic! The host was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We were delighted to find ourselves in a spacious room on the second floor, and having parking available for our car was a definite plus. While there weren't nearby restaurants, there was a convenient bakery in the vicinity. Moreover, the snack station, as others have mentioned, was a great addition – perfect for making tea or coffee and grabbing some candies, bars, and cereal. Overall, a comfortable and accommodating stay with thoughtful amenities.

Fabian greeted us with a warm welcome at the front door. Showed us our rooms and had a conversation about our plans. Fabian advised us to go to La Luna restaurant (excellent atmosphere and food) Fabian is a wealth of knowledge, very helpful and friendly! Fabian drove and took pictures of us at landmarks and dropped off at the La Luna and the bus station the next day. Fabian arranged the penguin and Magellan Straight tour for us.The rooms are spacious and clean. I slept great and felt very safe and relaxed. The shower has lots of pressure and is hot. All you require for breakfast is provided plus some extras. It is a small distance from the center of town however the Uber was $4,200 CLP super reasonable. Fabian provides many little extras that travelers may require or have forgotten to pack. Fabian truly cares about people and has a big heart. 1,000% recommend the Hostal Host Patagonia!!! Don't miss your opportunity to stay here.
