Everything was first class in this hotel. The staff was so nice also. The rooms were nice and the beds were absolutely comfortable. The breakfast with the view was amazing. Really good food. Someone said it was a simple breakfast but I disagree. It was top notch and a very nice variety. I can't say enough good things about this hotel.

A great hotel for a reasonable price! The Business room on the 2nd floor that I have got was nice and spacious. It was cool outside, but heating was very efficient, so that I had to open the window now and then. The window was facing an inner yard, but provided enough light and air. On the other hand, it was very quiet. The hotel has great location - both for train and car travelers. It is right besides the train station, and also has parking of its own (charged). Very easy to reach. The city center area starts right behind the hotel, and it is an easy 10-15 walk to the city square, restaurants and 2 shopping centers. Rich breakfast: cold and warm, cheese, sausage and fish, fruit and pastry, and even soup. Served in a large and nicely decorated old-style dining room. Polite and helpful staff. Some down sides: For some reason my room was missing the promised coffee machine. And there is a stair case leading from the street level entrance up to the lobby. The Internet signal was medium quality, and I had to look for a best spot in the room. However, there is a wire connection as a backup. Bottom line - the most positive experience!

This hotel is near the station and 3 minutes walk to the historical center. . It has its own parking nearby.The breakfast was great and dinner superb. The furnishings are classic style with lot of paintings and a massive chandelier in the lobby. The room was perfect with classic furnishings. The shower in the room included even a sauna. In all the hotel starting from the lobby, corridors, rooms, restaurant etc one can feel like richness of the place.

A very nice hotel that gives you whatever needed for a good stay.It is just across the main train station, but when you shut the windows you hear nothing. The rooms are . specious enough and there is a free espresso machine in it for the visitors. In the .bathroom you find an American special shower with hydro jets and steam. .The breakfast was good and tasty. All in All, I found it as an excellent hotel.

If you're travelling by train this hotel is literally two minutes from the main station. The centre of Žilina is about ten minutes walk away. The rooms are reasonably comfortable, there's a bizarre shower cubicle with all sorts of options for steam, power jets etc. but I gave up reading the user manual, you can use it just as a shower and it's powerful enough. Decent breakfast with choice of hot and cold dishes.

This time we tried the Chateau Gbelany during our stay in Zilin. The building is beautiful, the hotel area is very clean and rooms are very spacious. Check-in was quite quick and the bathroom-products of high quality (L'Occitane). We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and were shocked by the unfriendly staff & service level provided. Besides frequently hearing that the restaurant would close the kitchen in 5 minutes - at 20:30 - (not willing to wait for guests to decide on the menu), we never saw any employees in the restaurants smiling, talking in a friendly tone with guests or asking if more drinks would have been welcome. Instead of this, the music was turned off, lights were switched off and staff went home while we were still having dinner. I never experienced something like this before and would not be able to recommend anyone to have dinner at Hotel Chateau Gbelany. All other places have better service and food - unfortunately (due to many international companies around) - was too overpriced. Even higher than in Vienna/Munich downtown area.

Amazing hotel. The property has safe private parking , restaurant, exceptional spa & professional massage. The location is very close to Zilina. The reception staff as well as any other staff members we have talked, were extremely helpful and speak english very well. There are art pieces from medieval times at the hotel, makes the stay even more enjoyable.

Hotel is really nice, room are different than most of other hotels but i have to say they are unique. Food what we ordered for the dinner was fabulous and I strongly recommend it. The only issue we faced was that i was making booking via Hotels.com with Breakfast buffer included. Hotel was not informed about breakfast part of the package. After clarification at reception they confirmed to add it on. As we were leaving before Bfast open, they promised to prepare breakfast packages for us with water, some snacks, croissant, etc. Unfortunately, next morning nothing was prepared as another receptionist didnt know about it at all. He also didnt arrange anything for us with comment that we need to wait for Breakfast when its open, which we couldn't as we had to get going on the road. Without breakfast or any water... but overall i dont mind to book it again.

We had a very pleasant stay. The mezonet room was spacious with a well equipped minibar. Billiard was good fun even though you pay a little extra for it. My husband enjoyed 2 massages and we visited spa for a couple of hours - the outdoor jaccuzi was awesome even though you will only fit 2-3 people in, so make sure to avoid peak hours. The food was also great, breakfast as well as dinner. Overall, we can highly recommend this hotel if you want to chill for a couple of days.

A perfect tan in every way. From the beginning when we were greeted to finding out, we were just a few steps away from the Aphrodite spa. Everything was perfect. They even greeted us with a welcome coffee and a welcome beer at the sister Pensiona short walk away. The property also has an adjacent pizzeria, which was nice for lunch.

Almost perfect in all ways. We liked the building/-s, room, stuff, breakfast. My "almost" means, that I'd like to eat vegetables with the bread and coffee. Breakfast was great but no vegetables (tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce...). Some fruits there were anyway. Otherwice the breakfast was good! For sure we come again, if only our way goes there!

Great place, I'd absolutely stay here again. The room felt like a page in an IKEA catalog, but it worked - the room was stylish, yet practical, comfortable and spotless clean. A lot of free private parking space right in front of the apartment. Amazing breakfast in a stylish environment. Overall great value for money.

We took a bigger room which was really nice. There is a small parking place next to the hotel and bigger ones behind a gate - so no problem with a car. Breakfasts are really tasty but you are choosing them from the menu so their choice is limited. The hotel is placed in the center so it's very close to the Afrodita resort and to hiking trails. Overall great place to stay.

The hotel offered everything it promised. The description corresponds to reality. The hotel is a very short walk from the city centre. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was cozy and very clean with a view of the park. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom with shower was nice. There was a TV, coffee table and minibar in the room. The breakfast was good enough with both sweet and salty offerings. There was coffee, tea and juice to drink. There is also a wellness area in the hotel with a small charge, which unfortunately we didn't manage to visit. We were very satisfied and would recommend the hotel.

Very comfy, clean and spacious room. Great variety of breakfast options, suprisingly even coffee was decent for a hotel buffet-style breakfast.

I stayed in a business suite. It was clean, spacy, and modern. Moreover, despite the loud event at the ground floor during that night, they accommodated me at the top floor where I could barely hear the fragments of music, and thanks to good sound insulation I also couldn't hear other guests. Therefore, I had a really good sleep there (I could still hear some noise from the street, but it was reasonable for a city center). The personnel was really friendly, always in a good mood and helpful. Breakfast was very delicious - the selection was relatively standard for 4* hotels, but the food tasted really well. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Martin. It is really uncommon to get such a level of service in the Martin area.

The property is fantastic, with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Our room was enormous, spotless, and beautifully furnished. The bed was extremely cozy, and the large bathtub was a wonderful touch, making the stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel is renovated, so it’s modern and consist of all the gadgets you’d need. It is generally clean. We had breakfast and we enjoyed the carb section. The buffet can be enriched with veggie options. Overall we had a great and relaxing experience

I stayed at Penzión Central Park in Žilina for one night with a close friend, and at first glance, everything felt really promising. The hotel has a beautiful, almost French boutique vibe, clean white interiors, elegant design, and a cozy atmosphere that made us feel instantly relaxed. Our room wasn’t huge, but it had a small French balcony and was more than comfortable for the two of us. The bed was great, the duvets were big and soft, and everything felt fresh and tidy. The location couldn’t have been better. Just steps from a little park with a fountain, surrounded by cafés and restaurants, and even a shopping mall just five to seven minutes away in case you needed anything. It was also super convenient to reach, about eight minutes from the train station. Breakfast the next morning was a real treat. There was a great variety of food and everything was fresh and delicious. The coffee was a bit too bitter for my taste, but that’s a small detail and easily adjusted. The staff, especially during breakfast service and check-in, were friendly and helpful without being too formal or distant. Overall, for the price, especially with breakfast included, we felt like we were getting great value.

The staff were cheerful and helpful. The location was really good - opposite the park, not too far from the railway station, and convenient for the squares. The WiFi was fast and reliable. The Wellness centre was extremely good - spotlessly clean and well maintained - this alone made up for any other issues. Breakfast was good, but not exceptional. The restaurant was very good value for an evening meal.

I have experienced a lot but this hotel is absolutely exceptional - cozy, clean, nice staff of young people,perfect breakfast,nice wellnes, spacious room and bathroom - all with great equipment. I would be a bad traveler if I didn't give this hotel the maximum rating!

Everything was good, but the hotel staff should have a better training. Employees do not speak good English which is important for tourists. Check in took to long and the staff in the bar was not very friendly. The bar was open until 23:00 and we went there 22:30 for some beer after we arrived until they close. We were told that we can only drink until 22:45 in a non friendly way and they only had 2 bottles of cold beer. This is really amateur way to run a hotel. Big minus: The bar allows smoking! For us a no go!

I guess this is a fairly new hotel in Zilina. It's well located lose to the train station and just off the main square behind a large modern shopping centre. The staff were welcoming with people with good English on reception. The rooms are a good size and comfortable with air conditioning.The dining room in the basement is gloomy with no natural light but food is good with polite and attentive service. I didn't have breakfast as I had an early train to catch. Good value.

Rajecké Teplice is an ideal place for a romantic or relaxing trip for two. We definitely recommend it!

Property itself is located right in the centre, with own land for parking. Biggest asset is the staff, super lovely and nice people willing to step out and help as much as possible. Our checkin lady was amazing, she even found something little to eat for my kids while we arrived late evening. Breakfast staff was excellent and guy at checkout was super nice too. Breakfast bar was great enough. We even used private spa which was super worth it.

The staff was very friendly, with a wonderful breakfast. The location was good, situated just south of Zilina, not far from the D1, making a great central base for day-trips to Zilina, Orava, Cicmany, and elsewhere. The beds were not terribly comfortable however and could use an update, along with the linens. Otherwise, I would happily stay here again.

The place is really nice, clean. The personal welcoming is appreciated. Parking place good, enough place. Breakfast was good, missing just croissant and maybe fresh pressed orange juice. But it is only extra. Otherwise great ;-)

The property itself was perfect. If you are there for the Aphrodite spa, the location is perfect, very near a coop grocery store also.

Staying in a room with a kitchenette, I made my own breakfast (Lidl a 5 min walk away). The bed was ok, though might be a little hard for some people. Wifi signal was excellent, could work like at home. The hotel is not new, but surfaces are all clean and well maintained. Toilet and shower very good. The top floor apartment did get hot during the day, but cooled down quickly for the night when having windows open. If planning to stay during a hot day, might need a fan. Overall very good value for the money and expectations, can recommend.

The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was modern with a circular shower as big as a room. Breakfast was an amazing buffet with a large variety of delicious food. Two different types of eggs, sausages, bacon, hot dogs, croissants, a salad and fruit bar and more. Breakfast was in a large palace area making us feel like royalty. The design and decors of the hotel was beautiful. There is a chapel within the palace as well. The grounds were beautiful with a playground. My children loved it. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. They made our stay very comfortable. Thank you!

I attend the wedding of my friend. I stayed in Gino Park Hotel 3 nights and I have only amazing experience. The authentic feeling of the property is amazing by keeping the old style furniture on the corridors. It's clean and tidy yet has old castle atmosphere. The staff is super friendly. This is one of the most beautiful buildings I’ve ever stayed in. It is an old palace that has been remodeled and opened in 2015. I splurged and got the presidential suite which was huge. Our dinner was excellent. The service was perfect and professional. The waiter wore white gloves. I give this place my highest recommendation. One of the staff memebers was a little annoyed with me but the others were excellent.

Bystrička hotel is in quiet village area, great for relaxing. Staff was polite and friendly. Breakfast food was tasty. Rooms were clean and comfortable for a good night sleep.

The Hotel Bystricka is a bit out of the way, but it is a terrific hotel, so if you are in the area, choose this one. You need a car. Staff is super friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and quiet, and the restaurant is good. This last bit is important, because there are few nearby dining options, grocery stores, or cafes. At the end of a tiring day, sitting down to a decent meal really matters. I hope to stay here again if I get the chance.

The only negative thing for me was the food, which I did not find particularly enjoyable, but it also was not bad in anyway, so just average.

Stayed here last year for one night as well. - gated yard and free parking - we had three beds in room, table, chairs - fridge - bathroom There is no ac in a room but we had window open. There is railway on the other side of the road, if there were noise from it it didnt bother us. Check in was open till 22:00, but we messaged and asked for later check-in if there was traffic and that was also ok. Close to the centrum where restaurants, bars and shops were, about 5 min away. Notice that only cash payments but that´s fine, they mention that on description as well.

Very friendly owner. She only spoke Slovak but was keen to help. With some extra help from Google Translate we figured it all out together. Rooms are simple but clean and all we needed as it was a short stopover on a railtrip. The train station is only 150m away.

I have been staying at MartInn for more than 10 years now; my summers in Martin are always a joy, because the pension is consistently great: super clean, staff is very kind and the location is great! The food is exceptional!

The rooms were just what to expect from a chain hotel. Even if i got upgraded to Executive cause of fully booked... But what i will remember it for is the friendly service at reception, lobby and restaurant. Despite the waiters doing +10hour shifts they were always welcoming you (back)... The breakfast was good. The daily menus in restaurant were tasty and served nicely. Also it has a good looking pool i will use on my next trip. Just the rooms were very warm even when putting heating on lowest possible. With windows open u got the sound from the nearby train station.

Location is great - just a few minutes away from the center and very easy to find/navigate. There's breakfast included and the room was clean and comfy. It was a little bit small but it didn't matter for me since I'm not someone who spends a lot of time in the room. Staff was lovely. Checkout is 11 am which is great because it's not very early. Overall it's a very affordable place in a great location.

The apartment is in a very central position and has the advantage of a private parking included in the price. It is modern, with every utensil and other thing you could think of and you might need during your stay. It was very clean, comfortable and also beautiful to the eye! I highly recommend it to anyone.

The apartment was very pleasant, clean with modern furnishings. There was also a balcony. It was a bit difficult to work out how to open the barrier to the carpark. But when we found out, it was dead easy: One has to press the no. 1 on the remote control, which is attached to the keyring.

This is a great and functional apartment, spacious, clean with all modern facilities. The location is in the city centre (with a dedicated parking space!) and communications with the host were clear, quick and easy. Highly recommended!

The Rooms are very spacious, clean, and have everything a Hotelroom should have. Beds were large and comfortable. Bathroom clean and also comfy. The Value for Money is excellent! Friendly Staff although a tiny bit to strict (Can't let your child eat popcorn while you enjoy some drinks you bought from the Hotelbar) The Hotel is in the middle of nature, so nice views and vibes here.

The place is very new in nice surroundings, close to nature. Perfect location to start the via ferrata to Martinské hole, hence its name. Overall we were satisfied with the accomodation, it was a big apartment, nicely furnished, the whole place is stylish. It was spotlessly clean, and the price for the value is quite good. The wifi was working well, reception, personnel all met the required standard. The beds were very comfortable. What I would like to recommend is to try out the restaurant, the food is delicious.

We had an awesome stay in penzion flamm! So handy to the spas in town, the locally brewed beer was great and you are given a free drink voucher on arrival with 2 in the fridge in your room. Staff were really helpful and friendly and the on site restaurant was delicious

Thankfully our host made it possible to change the apartment after two nights to one with a lovely terrace. Fantastic location right in the city center, yet very quiet. Big and spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. very good value for money.

The apartment was very clean and there was comfort at every step. I like that it was super warm inside and felt very cosy. The beds were comfortable and location is very central, Mirage shopping centre is right outside. Towels and toiletries were supplied.

I had a wonderful stay at Sentami and would definitely rate it 10/10. The room was spacious and located in the back building of the property, which made it very quiet and relaxing. The guesthouse is just outside the busy city center, so it was peaceful, yet only about a 10–15 minute easy walk to the main square. There was plenty of storage space, a large bathroom, everything was spotless, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful – I really appreciated being able to leave my luggage, as I arrived very early in the morning and left late in the evening. As an extra bonus, there is also a restaurant next to the hotel, offering very tasty food at reasonable prices.

A lot of advantages: great location - 15 minutes on foot to the main squares, safe parking on its territory, newly fresh and stylish facilities, appropriate heating, I loved the shower gel, very welcoming breakfast personnel and tasty breakfast.

Exceptional service with staff very kind and helpful, despite the fact that they were not fluent in English they managed to meet the expectations and go over and beyond to meet my needs. Restaurant food was fresh, well prepared yet with affordable prices. Sentami is close to the center, so you can just enjoy the city, mall with walking distance. Rooms were spacious and clean. I will definitely book again here when I will be back to Žilina.

Great location with lots of shops nearby, good value for your money. Staff was nice and wholesome, parking is easily accessible with many parking spots.

Hotel is located in a very good town. It was very peaceful. Rooms were spacious enough and had very comfortable furniture to make the stay pleasant. A common kitchen is also provided if we need to cook something on our own. There is a restaurant connected the stay. It's a pizza place and it was one of the best pizza I had in Slovakia and that too in Vegetarian.

Staff of this property were very helpful and kind. This hotel is in a such a beautiful place surounded by mountains. Breakfast was also very good.

Restaurant is open till 23, so if you go to bed earlier - bring your ear plugs (it's not very like a night club noisy, but people are eating and talking outside, so you hear them. Location pretty good, although getting to Mala Fatra (for ex. Stefanova) requires either making up the road or using the river crossing (€4 one way per car plus €0.5 per person). Very nice staff :)

The accommodation was a good size, clean and comfortable with a fridge and kettle in the room together with tea and coffee. The owner was very friendly and helpful and let us check in early which was much appreciated. Overall we thought it was good value for money and enjoyed our stay.

The best part about our experience was the host, who was very friendly and helpful. They helped make our experience in Zilina exceptional. We rented a car directly from the host, which was also an easy and problem-free process. The room was comfortable, and I slept very well in it. Thank you again for hosting us!

Apartment is perfect, clean and comfortable. There is as bus going about every one hour to the center of the city.

The room was clean and functional, perfect for a short stay. The bus stop to the city center is right under the apartment, which made it very easy to reach the city centre. I believe the place is especially convenient for those traveling by car, while we arrived by bus from the station and you have to walk by a sort of highway since the room is in a building near a gas station. The area can be a bit noisy due to what seemed truck activity, and there are no supermarkets nearby, but for one night it worked very well.

The host was very kind and caring. Since we were traveling by motorcycle, it was very important for us that the bike would be safe — and without us even asking, the host took care of it. We also needed to do some laundry, and he gladly let us use the facilities. He even sent us a recommendation for the nearest shopping center where we could have dinner. Highly recommended!
