The building is historic and charming, in a quiet street with an easy walk to the sea front of St Servan and accessible to the high street shops and facilities.. The entrance hall and dining area retain some of the history. We found the staff members helpful and attentive. Our room was spotless, quiet, and comfortable. We recommend the breakfast which varied daily with breads, pastries, yoghurt, fruit, cake, fresh juice, cheese, ham, jams and a choice of drinks. All nicely served and presented. There is a small rear garden which is pleasant to sit in.

This is a very special hotel. You are given a very warm welcome from the time you arrive. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is wonderful with little touch’s that go the extra mile. The last time we stayed there was a lovely little restaurant just down the road which is now an Italian but was closed during our stay. There are other restaurants about. 20min walk away but it is uphill on the way back so may not suit those less able. There is a little beach a 10min walk away. Our room was very comfortable if a little compact but it had everything we needed, beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and very quiet. We will definitely stay again.

A very cosy hotel. The location is convenient with a quiet neighbourhood. You could find a good restaurant with a two--minutes walk. The breakfast served is outstanding. The hotel is clean and the staff is very welcoming.

The hotel owner Emanuelle welcoming and helpful. The hotel is a beautiful period building, warm and comfortable with a great breakfast. It is in a residential area so quiet but we loved walking in the area and down to the nearby beach and restaurants

A beautifully appointed hotel with modern facilities. It was an excellent location for a recharge during our long journey home. Beds were comfortable and the room was immaculate. There is space to park a car, although the narrow gates are a little tricky. For those less confident, there is plenty of on street parking within a stones’ throw of the hotel. Our host was exceptional, creating a seamless experience for us (and our dog) from the moment we checked in. She was kind enough to source and reserve a table at an excellent seafood restaurant for dinner and provided us with a wonderful continental breakfast in the morning. I wish we would have stayed longer and will booking another stay for our future journeys through France.

Everything, the receptionist were helpful and patient when I tried out my French speaking skills! They explained where everything was. Our room (suit) was nicely decorated, clean, spacious and the shower was warm. There was shower gel and shampoo available plus a coffee machine, safe and hairdryer. The bed was very comfortable. There were great views from the windows. Breakfast was the usual continental breakfast, including scrambled egg and bacon. The location was in a quiet street with off road parking (at a cost) which we used as we had bikes on the back of our van. It was roughly a 40 min walk to the old town of St Malo along the beach front, a perfect spot to watch the sun setting.

I liked the quiet position of my room with a sea view between houses. It was easy to walk to the sea front with a view of St Malo. Loved the breakfast. We were greeted each morning in the salon du petit déjeuner, personally, with offers of coffee, which was brought to our table. Gluten free products were also brought when requested and there were 3 different items: flax bread, crackers (Schar) and Madeleines. As well as French bread, croissants, gorgeous jams & Breton cakes, there was an array of cheeses and cooked meats plus scrambled eggs and bacon. We felt very much at home during the 4 days we stayed. No-one batted an eye lid when we returned early afternoon for a long siesta. The efficient receptionist rang a restaurant for us and came up to our room later to tell us she had booked the table we requested. She also came to test my coffee machine when it produced hot water instead of coffee. I really appreciated the lift & never used the stairs due to health issues. The cold meat or cheese platter that could be ordered was very good and was served in the lovely bar/salon at one of the tables plus cutlery, plates etc. with a drink from the bar it made a very enjoyable meal.

Reception and catering staff pleasant, helpful and friendly. Spoke enough English to help us. Excellent and well presented breakfast. Mayya is a real gem. Hotel has a friendly atmosphere with stylish decor with all modern conveniences. Clean and comfortable room. Great location near beach, restaurants etc

What a gem of a hotel just one street from the beach in a quiet residential area with easy free parking in the street.The hotel exceeded our expectations with caring friendly and helpful staff. Room was spacious and well appointed with a super king bed. We travelled with our dog who was welcomed with a her own bed, bowl and treats. As we had the dog they arranged breakfast for us in the bar lounge area as they only have a breakfast room. The hotel is only a short drive from the port and the walled town of St Malo. We stayed for two nights but would have happily stayed longer.

We loved the quiet rooms with Queen sized beds and sea view (rooms 8 and 9). The lift was such a plus and took the stress away. We parked on the road outside the front of the Hotel. Petit dej is really good with local cakes, bacon and eggs kept hot properly, & different breads, home made jams, pastries etc. The staff are attentive,friendly and helpful. La Grande Salle is a beautiful room to relax in, with a view to the sea at one end. There are also 2 or 3 tables where the bar meals are served. A short walk-3 minutes approx- takes you to the Promenade of la plage de Rochebonne which is beautiful, with seats to admire the view from. Looking forward to our next stay!

Nice property and a fine hotel. I would say the level of service is definitely at four star not five, but our room was comfortable and had plenty of room. We paid a lot for the sea view and enjoyed it. Room service was okay but not great. The pool area was nice but not a swimming pool; instead more a relaxation area with jets and jacuzzi (but not hot water). Parking was easy. To add a down side, the road in front of the room (aka just below our room) was under construction starting at 8am each day. This caused some difficulties walking along the road to the old city but still workable. Overall the view was beautiful.

We stayed here for two nights in a deluxe double room and it was wonderful! The hotel is right by the beach which is beautiful and seems endless, and away from all the crowds in the walled city but not to far to walk there if you wish to. Had a really friendly welcome from the reception staff and they were lovely and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was on the top floor and it was amazing - really spacious with a separate seating area and a balcony with a lateral sea view. It was all very nicely furnished with plenty of of storage space too. The bathroom was also pretty large with both bath and walk in shower. It all made for such a comfortable, relaxing stay! The spa area was on the same level as our room and the pool and hamman were great, we used them every day and mostly had them to ourselves. Breakfast was really good, such a lot of choice of high quality products and the view from the restaurant over the bay was stunning. The bar also had the same gorgeous view with a good selection of drinks and service and it had a very relaxing ambience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Purpose built hotel in an excellent location (waterfront, wonderful view of walled town, islands and sunset) with great staff, restaurant and facilities. Food was excellent, whether a buffet breakfast or a la carte fine dining. We eat breakfast at peak time, but waited comfortably for less than five mins to be seated, all food choices were well stocked and looked fresh etc. Dinner on Saturday evening was a great experience, from pre dinner drinks in the well appointed bar to the excellent food and service in the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble and the front line view of the sunset extra special. We had a well equipped and spacious room in 4th floor, allowing us to corner view of the beach and walled town (made the most of the nespresso and tea machine). A good amount free in street parking nearby but we took advantage of the secure parking beneath the hotel which was well located etc. especially with a very full car.

This was an excellent 4 star hotel! Location was fabulous, walkable, convenient... view from the restaurant and bar was great of the water! Breakfast was delicious... it was very quiet and comfortable. Friendly staff... we highly recommend this and would stay again if in the area!

The location of the hotel is very good with a 20 min stroll to all the restaurants in Intramuros which builds up an appetite, with the stroll back to help digest. The rooms were large and well equipped. All English TV channels were available, which was a nice bonus (MOTD in particular...). The parking onsite was a big plus (although sadly its additional...) as in the summer the public parking must be horrendous. Staff were attentive and professional and when we arrived the gentleman on reception took time to explain some of the attractions in and around St. Malo in addition to some restaurant recommendations. We did not try the SPA, maybe on the next visit. Breakfast was good, with a great view overlooking the beach which was just in front (over the wall of course...). Each room had a balcony although in late October its a little chilly. Overall a very, very pleasant, relaxing experience.

We thought they got everything 100% right at this small city hotel. We couldn't hope to have encountered more friendly, professional or helpful staff anywhere. Nothing was too much trouble from sightseeing advice (after a day exploring the old town, take a boat over the river for a different aspect and compare Belle Époque architecture to the post WW2 reconstructed Saint-Malo Intra Muros) to recommending and booking local restaurants to making sure we sampled all local specialities in the breakfast spread. They didn't even laugh at my franglais before diplomatically switching into excellent English. The rooms were tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, had comfortable double beds and the shower was excellent. The hotel is also unusually flexible on taking a late breakfast and checking out later in the morning - great after a tiring journey the day before. Thank you Hôtel Bristol Union!

Excellent, small, family run hotel. Very central, perfect location. Spotlessly clean room, excellent shower small but very tastefully decorated room. The breakfast was excellent, homemade sweet local cake for breakfast was divine as was the coffee and the rest of the breakfast buffet. We will definitely return.

I stayed in one of their "cosy" rooms and it was wonderful. The room itself was quite large, with a huge window that let in light and offered a nice view over the city. The decor and ambience were really nice; everything was super clean and new but also with a lot of charm. My room had a tea kettle and the staff made complimentary bottles of water available to guests every evening in the lobby. There was a tiny lift that I often used to go up to my room on the top floor, but also a nice staircase that I could use for the descent. Everything was in perfect working order all the time. My stay was very quiet and comfortable, and I loved being in the center of the old part of town.

From booking, to helpful conversations and emails prior to our visit, the hotel owners/staff were so helpful. Excellent English too (thank you). Check in was easy (as we arrived late) bed linen was so fresh. Comfortable rooms - and right in the heart of St Malo. Parking P7 (outside the walls) was only a minute away. Breakfast was delicious especially their homemade muesli, banana cake and homegrown/made plum tart. We had a lovely stay and highly recommended Hotel Bristol Union.

Great hotel situated in a surprisingly quiet location for given its central location. Great for exploring St Malo, easy walk from the ferry and to local boats to Dinard. Hotel staff team friendly, helpful and have a good knowledge of local area. Rooms clean and good facilities (including a kettle!).Lift to rooms on higher floors. Great continental breakfast. Great value for money hotel within the walls.

We loved the variety, plentifulness, tastiness and freshness of breakfast and the ambience and of the dining area is super. The bedroom, and bathroom were so tasteful and comfortable and we loved having a balcony, The jacuzzi tub and sauna were an unexpected surprise. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. After a long journey to get there it felt like a balm to be received with such warmth and hospitality. Very grateful.

Plus, the highway/motorway are 2 minutes away, so we managed to cover the whole of Brittany from here, including Mont Saint-Michel. [+] the hotel premises are very beautiful and inviting, lots of parking spaces including electric chargers and places for the disabled [+] the are where the hotel is located is very calm and quite [+] the reception/breakfast area is so nice, the bookcases are something to behold [+] staff was also very nice and welcoming [+] spacious room, comfy bed (thank you for the upgrade! :) [+] large bathroom/shower area [+] delicious breakfast OVERALL AN AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, COZY HOTEL! Very spacious, comfortable room. Ample, safe, free parking. Very good breakfast, with plenty of options. Friendly, helpful staff. Easy to get into St Malo for sightseeing etc. The restaurant only serves breakfast, but there are several options nearby, which the receptionist helpfully recommended, and gave directions.

What a find! Stayed on my way to the ferry. The hotel is situated in a residential area just 10 minutes from the ferry terminal in St Malo. Apparently it's only one year old but is stylish in a warm and friendly way. My room was of good size with a great walk-in shower and of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in. Dinner was not available as such, but I was offered a "pot" meal in jar which was absolutely delicious which I ate in the hotel restaurant The lady at reception could not have been more helpful and the price was a bargain. A definite stop for the future.

The beach location was perfect for walks and sitting outside and enjoying a glass and watching people stroll by. The staff were all welcoming and kind. Breakfast with a sea view was an amazing assortment of boil your own eggs,various breads, croissants, pain au chocolat, and yogurt, fruit and cereals. We really appreciated the clean, tidy, well appropriated rooms with comfy beds. Sea view from our bed was perfect and a little balcony as well. Caroline was exceptionally helpful and kind, assisted us with drink and dining selections and helped us navigate Saint-Malo with our minimal French and her understanding of English. We loved the 25 minute walk to center Saint-Malo and close restaurants. I wish we had booked more days there!

We enjoyed a very comfortable 3 night stay at Les Charmettes. The hotel has its own unique character and quirky individuality that we appreciated. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was compact but comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was varied, plentiful and delicious, and contained some specialities of Brittany. The hotel is situated in a peaceful location with no traffic noise. The dining room overlooks the beautiful beach which is just a few steps away. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the old walled city - this may sound like a long way but the walk is along the flat promenade with fabulous coastal views the whole way, so was to be enjoyed ! English is spoken which was a great help ! Thanks to all at Les Charmettes for a very pleasant stay.

The room was extremely comfortable and clean with tea and coffee provisions that were restocked each day. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide range of options. The location was perfect. It was outside of the intra-muros, right by the beach with incredible views. We could watch the surfers while having our breakfast. We loved walking along the beach and seafront - it was especially fun to see the waves at high tide.

Small hotel in a great location right on the beach. Room and bathroom were on the small side but clean and comfortable and the shower was excellent. Hotel has a bar/restaurant terrace overlooking the beach which is really relaxing and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast had good choices also.

We loved our stay at Les Charmettes and its beautiful oceanfront setting. It's a 20-minute walk along the beach to the town of Saint Malo, which we enjoyed and was no problem for our 9-year-old daughter. We liked being able to easily walk to the town of Saint Malo then being able to retreat to the solitude of Les Charmettes later in the day to enjoy quiet evenings on beach. The beach access is unbeatable, and we spent much time enjoying the water and watching all of the kite and wind surfers. The change in tides from low to high is spectacular! The breakfasts we amazing and we enjoyed a couple of fabulous dinners on the oceanfront terrace. The rooms are of average size but very nicely decorated and were very clean & comfortable and the staff was warm and welcoming.

Mercure Dinard Emeraude Hotel is in a central position, close to beach, shops and restaurants the hotel itself was very good above our expectations, the room was excellent, trendy clean and comfortable with a great shower room. The staff were very friendly, breakfast was good although we only had it once, cheaper to go for coffee and crossaints nearby. The parking was a bit hopeless but not impossible if you were patient and drove around a lot! Parking is available at the hotel but expensive and few spaces. I would stay here again and recommend to friends and relations.

The hotel is really comfortable, in a perfect spot in the middle of town but still quiet and the staff were just the friendliest I have ever come across. Breakfast was a buffet and all the food was really good quality and fresh. There is no restaurant in the hotel but several really good ones just a short walk away. The only thing to watch out for is that there is a notice behind the bedroom door saying that there is a charge for wifi when, in fact, it is free.

this hotel is in a prime spot near the beach and restaurants of Dinard. the hotel is luxurious and comfortable with a lovely bar and breakfast. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful.

The staff at Reception were all excellent, helpful and informative. The Staff in the Restaurant at Breakfast were generally helpful. The Room Stewards were efficient. The Location was superb, close to many good restaurants and to the sandy beach, The Porters were mostly helpful, apart from one incident where a porter dropped one of our bags breaking a glass bottle, spilling the contents and leaving broken glass in our clothing. The one negative was the parking. Your website states free parking is available. This isn't totally true. It should state "Limited free parking may be available" I believe that there is dedicated off-street for about 12 vehicles (although I don't know if there is a charge for this). The capacity of the hotel is 47 rooms and most guests will come by car. Otherwise, free parking may be available on the streets, but we are competing with all other demands and often nothing is available at all. I understand there is a plan to build more rooms on the existing off-street car-park, which can only aggravate the situation.. Overall, I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to future guests.

We had the warmest welcome, and communication was excellent. Our room was clean, comfortable and with excellent facilities. The parking was secure and just behind the hotel. The hotel is situated next to the beach, and the rest of Dinard is easy to explore by foot. The breakfast buffet is very good with an excellent range of food choices, including some Breton specialities. Breakfast in the room and a room service menu was also available. Reception gave good recommendations for eating in Dinard, including information about opening times. Important if you stay on a Monday or Tuesday when some restaurants are closed. I highly recommend a stay here.

Once again, this hotel cannot be beat! We were fortunate to book 5 nights in a row, but they were full for our 6 and 7th nights and we had to go elsewhere. Hôtel Quic En Groigne offered a better nightly rate, a better breakfast, more comfortable beds, a quieter location for sleeping, and more personable staff and owners. This is the best hotel! The rooms, impeccably clean, everything you could want, including a fan on a couple very warm days, the owners who really care about you and your stay, and the breakfast is the best. There is space in the room to store luggage, space on the shelves for daily clothing, space in the bathroom for toiletry bags, hangers in the closet area for clothing, very comfortable beds, shutters to block the early morning light, everything to make your stay great. The breakfast in the conservatory is a highlight each day. Huge croissants, delicious baguettes, several kinds of jams, cheese, meat, fresh fruit, yogurt, several kinds of juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, linen napkins, tablecloths and more are offered in a lovely buffet. This is our preferred hotel in St. Malo and we look forward to our next stay!

This is a fantastic little hotel where they got everything right. All the staff were very friendly and helpful - the young lady at reception who checked me in, the server at breakfast, and the gentleman who checked me out. My room was at the back of the hotel and was very quiet the whole time. And the room had a kettle!! The shower was good too. The breakfast room was very attractively laid out and there was a great choice of food and drink. There was safe storage for my bicycle also, in the garage below. The hotel is in a quiet side street and is very close to the ferry port. It was perfect for an overnight stay.

The hotel is in a great location. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast room is very pleasant and the breakfast delicious. Our room was comfortable and had a nice view over the street, which is very quiet. 2 minutes to the sea and 2 minutes to shops and restaurants. This is our second time here and we would go back with no hesitation.

We have been staying here since 2010! This hotel, the proprietors, and the city itself are top notch!! For this visit we were one flight up in a lovely, comfortable room. A very kind young man helped carry our overweight luggage up the stairs. Plenty of space to hang coats, spot for luggage, and huge bathroom with space for toiletry bags. In this type of cool weather we appreciated the tea maker in the room. The breakfast buffet is the best! Huge, absolutely delicious croissants, baguettes, butter, lovely jams, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, self cook eggs, fresh fruit juice, meat, cheese, and of course French coffee, which we always prefer. We feel at home here and look forward to our next trip. Thanks to the Quic's entire staff for a great stay.

The room had fantastic view of the sea with all glass front. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was lovely with jacuzzi for two and big walk-in shower. it had a great balcony with cushioned chairs.

The hotel is located in the heart of Saint Malo on the cornishe, hence as good as it gets! Rooms are large and very comfortable. Hotel has a swimming pool and jacuzzi a nice addition to your visit.

Superb sea view room booked at a good rate through Brittany Ferries in a ferry and hotel package. Amazing listening to the sound of the waves as I went to sleep. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a wonderful bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and separate rain shower. The room was so luxurious and the view so good we didn’t want to leave and didn’t manage to try out the pool and spa area downstairs. The hotel is situated right next to the old town with a good choice of restaurants in close proximity. We had continental breakfast in the room and it was ok

Stunning sea view from the Escape Suite, which also includes a very large and comfortable bed as well as a large, well equipped bathroom with shower and jacuzzi bath. The pool and spa area is very modern and pleasant, and like the room was immaculately clean. There is a short walk to the marvellous old town, which is fascinating to walk around and features plenty of pretty sights and fantastic places to eat, drink, and shop. The hotel's secure underground parking is worthwhile for convenience and peace of mind, but the local area and car parks feel safe and secure regardless. All the staff I met were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and have recommended Oceania to friends and family.

First time staying on this side of st malo port .we normaly stay on the other side closer to the city .we were suprised at the location and the restaurants and bars around it .we walked around the marina and enjoyed the change .there's sea views etc .the hotel is beautiful. It has such a lot of character. There was such a freindly welcome for us on arrival .the hotel rang us in the day to ask our arrival time .We parked for free on site, but there is ample free parking on the roads .our room was spotless and secure.bathroom was very, very clean .shower was good, too .the bed was very comfortable and good pillows .a nice size room as well enough for what we wanted .we didn't have breakfast as we had to leave early for our ferry .there's a fridge to purchase drinks in reception. Overall, it's a great hotel, and we think we've found where we will stay next time when in st malo .

Lovely room, really spacious, lovely spacious balcony with a good view. I also particularly liked the child's room attached to the parents' room. It was very spacious and cosy for my son. Everything was clean. The staff were also very friendly.

The room was spacious with a very wide double bed. The toilet/shower room was also spacious with a good powerful shower. The room had its own door to the outside with a small porch with a table a two chairs from which views of the harbor were to be seen. The man at reception was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Our room was great, we had a sea view and a balcony with a table and chairs. The interior was well furnished with a large and comfortable bed and two very comfortable leather armchairs. Hotel is also in walking distance of beaches, bars and restaurants. Staff were very helpful in making reservations for us .

Very warm welcoming atmosphere, we felt like home from the very beginning. Okay the room is a little old, but it was super clean the beds are very comfy the view form the balcony is awesome, We loved the breakfast.

The old historical buildings, the fact that I could put my bicycle in a garage, the swimming pool and the jacuzzi, specially after a long bicycle ride.

This hotel is a gem! It's a huge property with 2 buildings that share the property, reception area, restaurant , pool and hot tub. There is horse property next door with lots of horses and 2 goats. Lots of grassy area for walks and kids to run. We had a prestige room which had a bedroom and a sitting room. It also had a small terrace with table and 2 chairs. It was decorated very shabby chic and it was very appealing. The sitting room had a sofa, desk and TV on top of a small frig. The bed was very comfy and the shower had good pressure. It was close to Cancale and to a large U supermarket. It was a little hard to find because the reception area is not at the building we stayed in. The breakfast buffet was great and had a lot of choices and great coffee. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

We rented the 2 bedroom house on the property that was AMAZING. The breakfast was delicious with all fresh baked pastries and the pool was also amazing. Wish I could have stayed longer. But will be back there for sure.

Breakfast was fabulous fresh and good quality produce from the fruit presse to the cheese, meats fruits, freshly baked breads. Coffee was also good and a very stylish dining space fresh and welcoming 😎😎

Hotel Alba truly impressed me with its exceptional beachfront location right on Sillon beach; I particularly appreciated the incredibly friendly and attentive staff who made me feel so welcome throughout my stay. I also thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast, especially with the great view from the breakfast room looking right out over the magnificent ocean. The rooms were clean and comfortable, making for a perfectly relaxing experience. If you're looking for a memorable and scenic stay in Saint-Malo, this is definitely the place! Great to have parking

Lovely small BnB right on the beach. Staff is friendly and efficient, breakfasts are served in the cozy waterfront bar and terrace on the ocean front. We had a very large triple room with small balcony right over the water. Very clean, very comfortable bed with great linens. Housekeeping is stellar. Location is perfect, about a 25 minute walk into the old town of St. Malo. Lots of restaurants a block or two away.

Nice welcome at check-in and lovely fresh up-to-date room with a maritime design, which was well-appointed and very clean. It was very quiet with no noise coming from the other rooms or street. Dinner was very good with a fantastic view on the beach outside. Walking distance from the walled city of St Malo. The staff were all very nice. We will stay there again.

Perfectly located in a quiet street but just a few minutes walk from the centre of Dinard. An excellent continental breakfast in a generously-sized room (the latter not always the case in smaller hotels!). Small but perfectly formed bathroom. Very helpful and friendly staff. A plethora of splendid restaurants and bars nearby and even a cycle hire shop just around the corner. Highly recommended. Amazing location - really close to restaurants and beaches. Rooms well equipped but a tad on the small side. We stayed one night and it was perfect for us to be able to catch an early ferry. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Nice airy room, overlooking nice quiet street, good location for seafront and restaurants. Easy parking, close to everything to walk too. Breakfast was really good, varied and only small amounts on offer at a time, so you know it is fresh and replenished regularly

We have stayed at La Maison des Armateurs on numerous occasions, in fact every time we visit or pass through St Malo. Its our go to hotel. Its a lovely central hotel with parking (limited, so book in advance). The staff are so friendly, welcoming and helpful and the service is just excellent. NOthing is too much trouble for any of their front of house team. The rooms are comfortable with large beds and tastefully decorated and delicious Nuxe products are provided for guests (although they need to be refreshed daily, my only gripe!). Its so central (steps away from the Cathedral , shops and numerous bars and restaurants). The hotel oozes laid back charm and its a brilliant location. Its a 'must stay' hotel if you are exploring the wonderful St Malo. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough! I will be staying again next year.

Just got back from another excellent break in St Malo, staying at La Maison des Armateurs. It is a fabulous hotel, great location, in the middle of everything. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, a lovely sanctuary after a busy day sightseeing out and about. There are plenty of bars to choose from Intra Muros but we enjoy the pleasure of winding down with a quiet nightcap in the small hotel bar. The breakfasts are great, a good range of delicious choices for different tastes. The staff are friendly, kind and helpful. And they gave us a great restaurant recommendation! We don’t want to stay anywhere else in St Malo now. We’ll be back!

A really friendly & cosy hotel in the middle of the walled city. A warm welcome was received by the lovely staff. The rooms were spotlessly clean ,and the bathrooms were new & modern. Just a very small criticism, was there wasn't any standard breakfast tea, tea bags & the milk provided was condensed, not nice for tea. Bearing in mind that a lot of British people visit here, that's one small thing that could be improved. The breakfast buffet was really good ,with a choice of hot and cold food. Parking in a safe ,underground garage was a big added bonus & while quite expensive at €30 per night, did offer peace of mind . Although no evening meals were served ,there are dozens of excellent restaurants within a 100 yds of the hotel. A really decent hotel ,perfectly positioned in the heart of the city. You won't go far wrong.

The location was great. Easy to find and made a great base for a two night stay. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice from fresh fruit and yogurt to Cold meats and cheeses with a choice of butters and breads and then different sweet treats to finish off. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and the room was clean with a comfortable bed, air conditioning and great toiletries.

The hotel ticks every box. The location is just perfect, right in the centre, but still quiet. A beautiful, spacious room. The housekeeping was exceptional and the room and bathroom were really clean. The staff were friendly and so helpful; nothing was a problem and they always tried to help. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend. Thank you so much!
