The staff are wonderful, beautifully dressed in tradition Austrian clothing. The warmest welcome from the owners, delicious food, Piotre the gentleman at the bar was amazing and made us feel so special. The staff at dinner were so knowledgeable on local wines. We sat in the Burgerstube restaurant and the traditional decor Enhanced the evening. Delicious schnitzel! The best breakfast you could wish for. So much choice we were pleased to be there for three nights so we could try and sample most of it. We were there for a special occasion and had superior double rooms, the views of the mountains took our breath away and amazed us every morning. Fantastic coffee machine, quality bedrooms with so many finishing touches that made our stay so amazing. Fantastic shower, comfiest beds, balconies over looking Untersberg and the spa. The Spa facilities were beyond luxurious and we spent as much time there in between activities as possible. My daughter enjoyed the playground too. We had the best time and didn’t want to leave.

We stayed a night in this hotel and we really enjoyed it! SPA is amazing! One of the best SPA I have ever seen. It was a bit different that there was an adult only section (but I understand that it is common for the Austria). The pool in general area was amazing as well. There is pool inside that leads to outside pool. The atmosphere is amazing, everything is spotless clean. Adult area is also amazing, the view out of sauna is outstanding. You can relax and easily spend 3-4 hours there. We would definitely come back again! The staff was welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was delicious as well! We would definitely come back!

SPA is amazing! One of the best SPA I have ever seen. It was a bit different that there was an adult only section (but I understand that it is common for the Austria). The room was comfortable, clean and aesthetically appealing. The staff are welcoming, helpful and beautifully presented. The facilities are perfect for a family or single or couple travelers. Swiming pools, sauna, playgrounds and other activites for everyone. The dining - breakfast is a must with a selection that caters to all - excellent selection for vegans. The evening meal was also enjoyable and a perfect place to host friends.The little touches in our room - the pool towels in a pool bag, the cute room sign, and the products in bathroom - again vegan friendly.

This hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere but it was still full. Excellent large rooms with great views, coffee machine, comfortable bed and a lovely balcony with furniture. My room had a large bathroom but no bath just a shower, there were good quality toiletries available. Excellent dining experience that could be enjoyed outside if the weather was suitable or in a large dining room if raining. A huge pool and spa complex was available for guests. Breakfast was very good with an extensive choice, if booking this hotel do include breakfast as there is no alternative in the immediate area. The staff were friendly and checking is was a breeze.

This is a nice property to stay at. The room was modern, very clean and comfortable. The entire hotel is clean and modern and has garage parking. The restaurant had a great selection of food and everything we had was very good. Included breakfast was great, including individually prepared dishes. The staff were great, very friendly, knowledgeable, and always there to help.

We have enjoyed our stay. Amazing on all levels, guest services, comfort and quality, great breakfast. Amazing & Breathtaking views and location. All Staff are particularly helpful and friendly! We will definitely going to be back again .

There are also supermarkets, restaurants nearby

An excellent apartment, very close to the city, on a quiet road, very clean and well provided. The double room was very comfortable, and our adult daughter on the sofa bed in the communal room was also comfortable. The swimming pool was small, but very clean and welcome on a hot day.

Neighborhood was peaceful and residential, with key attractions just a short walk away. The accommodation was clean, well-maintained, and user-friendly, offering a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

Affordable, convenient location to the old city, adequate space for three people, comfy main bed and a small kitchenette which made breakfast easy. There were a couple of restaurants and a grocery store nearby.

We stayed at Numa in October this year. We found the digital check-in and check-out process very fast and convenient, especially if you cannot estimate your arrival time. The room was clean, very comfortable, and equipped with all the necessary amenities: an electric kettle, coffee maker, coffee pods, an assortment of tea bags, as well as generous amounts of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. We also enjoyed the neighborhood, as it was quiet.

In love with this hotel ! It was such a good decision to choose Numa Mozart for my 2 days Salzburg trip. Self-checkin process is easy and everything is arranged well. Hotel is nice and clean, room is huge , that design made me feel like home, comfortable and clean bed, coffee machine and Grind coffee 🫠 Selection of water, tea which was very sweet of them. View from my window was magical , and location is so good. Near to bus station, and 3 mins from an old city. Definitely will choose this nice hotel again and again.

Room decor was amazing, the room was very clean, location was excellent, the room was very spacious, there were 2 rooms, in the first one there was a king bed and a bathroom with a shower and in the second one was a couch that could have been changed into a bed and a toilet. There was a coffee machine, water and tea that were free and a well working fridge. The apartment was in a tenement. There was a lift and a lot of windows that were able to open. The check in was self-served which was very comfortable and there was contact with the owner 24/7. There was a city parking in a garage within a 7 minute walk from the hotel. The price for one day was 22€.

We had an exceptional stay at Numa Mozart. The checkin experience was smooth, with code in the app. The decor of the room was extremely classy and we loved how every corner was decorated. There was a nespresso machine in the room along with Grind coffee pods which tasted great, even the tea bags were of great quality. Every necessity items such as towels, tea coffee, milk etc could be restocked by ourselves using the guidance in the app. The view from the room was stellar. 100% recommended to book this hotel. Salzburg town centre is 10 min walking, surrounded by picturesque views.

Beautiful decor, excellent facilities - mini fridge, coffee maker, kettle and coffee and tea supplies in drawer. Very comfortable bed. No noise from outside. It was a short walk to Mirabell Gardens and convenient to walk across the bridge to the other side. On our second day we were left some treats which we thought was a lovely gesture. Street parking is available, payable up to 7pm. We also would recommend an Italian restaurant a couple of minutes walk called All’Angelo, food was unreal.

During my holidays, I have had to write bad reviews, but happily, this is a good review. I was greeted by an enthusiastic, helpful Catherine, and she explained everything in a helpful professional manner. Nothing was too much. On occasions, I needed assistance, Christian was equally helpful to explore Salzburg, also conducted himself with the same professional enthusiasm. Dinner one night in the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was also good. The range was equal or better than more expensive hotels, and the service staff attentive. Omelette and crepe had been made for me, which was also good and presented nicely. The chef George was friendly and professional. Thank you for making my stay in Salzburg comfortable and memorable. The location is convenient to all attractions and services. Other hotels could learn from the customer service experience that was displayed to me at every interaction.Obviously, staff training is important. I will be using the Mercure brand for future choices.

Lovely hotel in a quiet area of Salzburg but easily walkable distance from the main areas, restaurants and cafes. We booked a modern privilege room with a walk in shower and couldn’t fault it - very clean, spacious, lots of storage spaces and comfy beds. Best of all there was a fridge and strong air con! The whole hotel smelt fresh. All the staff we encountered were super friendly and cheerful. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or stay again!

I’m so impressed by Mercure Salzburg city. The stay exceeded expectations : - excellent value for money , was expecting budget and basic for the price . The room was modern and luxurious with coffee making facilities , great shower etc - the staff were so friendly and welcoming and gave some great information . They also let me check in early which was very much appreciated. Very professional and kind staff and made me feel welcome - very good location - short walk to the centre . Also very quiet and safe neighbourhood

Mercure in Salzburg is in a quiet neighborhood not far from the central station. Double bed was firm but comfy. Bathroom was fine with large enough shower although i don't know why there was a towel bar in front of the sink. Breakfast buffet ay 24 euros was a little high although selection was good. I'd definitely stay there again if i return to Salzburg.

Staff were very friendly and professional. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room as well as a safe. The hotel is situated in the New Town with the Old Town a 15 minute walk away. The walk does take you past many shops and eateries and is very pleasant.

Perfect place if you need a place for a short stay in Salzburg. The room was basic but clean, with decent WiFi and a comfortable bed — everything I needed. It’s just a short walk from the train station. I paid 73 euros for a single room with breakfast, which was a real bargain. The highlight was definitely the breakfast buffet, which was delicious!

Hotel Flair is about a 10-15 mins walk from Salzburg HBF. Very quiet location. Simple friendly checkin. Request for an early check-in accepted. Nice clean single room on top floor with big windows to open to let breeze in and look at view. Clean bathroom and good wifi.

Wonderful small hotel a couple of minutes from the train station. Clean and comfortable bed, clean sheets, clean bathroom, great shower pressure, fresh towels, wonderful service, a trolleybus station nearby.

The food was amazing. Lots of vegetarian options and variety. Excellent buffet and a La carte breakfast. Amazing buffet snack in the afternoon. Special shout out to Tobias who looked after us at dinner. My room was super comfortable and spacious with a fantastic view. Staff were friendly and facilities great for families but didn’t feel “kiddie”. Communal spaces well designed and spacious. Great location for ski lift. Ski in- ski out when there’s snow!

Our stay at the Nesslerhof was absolutely wonderful, with warm hospitality and a real sense of care from everyone we met. The spa area was incredible, the food was outstanding, and the rooms were beautiful with super comfortable beds. A big shout-out to Elias in the restaurant, whose friendly service and spot-on wine recommendations made our dinners extra special. We can’t wait to come back. The photos online do not do this hotel justice. It’s hard to believe but it’s even better and more beautiful in real life!

The front desk was friendly and helpful. Hotel has a built in theater, perfect for a rainy day evening. Location is great, a short walk to everything! Breakfast is included in out stay and food choices are decent. However, the waitress was so rude to me, an Asian, she didn’t greet me but picked me among 8-10 persons at the buffet tables to ask “what’s your room number “ after I’ve told her, she still looked suspicious, made me feel uncomfortable. When I sat down to eat, she came straight to me again, asking me my room number. When she passed other tables around us, she was nice greeting everyone “good morning “ or asking if they needed anything. Guess what, 2nd morning, she was after me again, with the look that I might sneaked in to ear breakfast for free, “what’s your room number”!!! Same behaviors to others- everyone else is non-Asian thus no need to check their room numbers but me! I’m very disappointed! What’s the heck?

Wonder hotel in a perfect location for those wanting to walk to all the sites in Salzburg. Had a great view of the Castle from our room, friendly staff, and amazing breakfast. Highly recommended this hotel!

Lovely old hotel, very comfortable, excellent breakfast, staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for seeing places of interest.

We didn’t realize what a truly great find this was until after our first day. It really is so close to everything you’d want. We rented bikes, did lots of sight seeing and walking. Tons of places to eat. Was frustrating getting in and out of town center because it is a secure area and seemingly all of the directions we thought we were following didn’t work. We ended up figuring it out, but was a hassle. Though looking back on it, still worth it because the location is a 10. Parking was easy. Grocery store, restaurants and shops are all close. The old fashioned picture shown with bathtub next to bed is not accurate at all — this is a recently renovated hotel with modern features throughout.

Booked here for 5 nights in August and amazing experience; very clean, well maintained and the owners are personally around ensuring all guests are taken care off well. Will stay here again but will go for 4 or 5 bedroom lodges which has amazing view and garden. Thank you Susanne Fischer and Family 👏🏻👍🏻
