The hotel has all the amenities to make your stay enjoyable. The bed is large and comfortable, and the room is well ventilated. The outdoor bathroom with natural light is very pleasant. The pool is beautiful and also has a jacuzzi. Breakfast is delicious and includes traditional options like tamales. The staff is very friendly.

The staff were awesome!!! Always ready to help in any way!! The hotel itself was like being in a jungle…the pool and jacuzzi were great …. Everything was tranquil, and quiet… and once out the door of the hotel you were right in the center of it all ! Also my friend had his birthday… needed some balloons… just referring it to reception she found me some with a smile !!

It offered a comfortable bed, clean room with open air bathroom, a nice hot shower, and great customer service. The place is very well planned and landscaped, and matches the local decor. .... The breakfast was fresh and delicious! ... They also offered massage service, I got one with hot.volcanic stones - a unique experience!

Breakfasts were good but not exceptional. We loved the balcony outside of our room (Rm #2). It was very relaxing. The Junior Suite was rustic but comfortable and the cleaning staff did a great job. We would have liked to open more windows in the evening, but most were not screened, and there were little biting insects around (black flies?). We found the staff very helpful and friendly. There was a profusion of plants and they improved privacy. Room #2 was a vast improvement over Room #3, where we spent the previous 2 days.

Everything was so clean. Staff very helpful. It's about 3km from Barichara - a short (10 minute) and cheap tuk tuk ride. More peaceful and relaxing than staying in town

A beautiful farm with many animals on a stunning property, very friendly & helpful staff (Daniel even helped arrange parapente/paragliding for us on our departure), delicious food & coffee, and a lovely pool to top it all off.

JUST DELICIOUS GREAT BREAKFAST CLEAN GOOD SERVICE

Amazing hostel! Clean, hot water and good water pressure in the shower, friendly service, a lot offers for activities, central but quite location, comfortable beds and pillows.

The breakfast was great. The room with a private pool is exceptional. It is very beautiful. The staff is very attentive and dedicated. There is a small soccer pitch and a pool table for the kids to play. The food at the restaurant is good and the view amazing. We really enjoyed our stay.

Staff and owners were very kind and attentive. Exceptional service and extremely polite. The place is located in a beautiful and pleasant landscape., well maintained and spectacular views. Oscar was very diligent on making a detailed map of the different sites and tourist areas surrounding the place and recommended restaurants and places of interest. Very satisfied with the experience. Highly recommended!!!

Palmas del Zamorano was a really nice place to stay. The staff was very attentive and kind. The food was very good especially the included breakfast. Nice location with a beautiful view and weather. Clean and confortable rooms.

We loved having the pool in the heat and the staff there were so lovely and helpful, nothing was too much. They have a cute cat and dog there which we loved. The place has a jacuzzi as well as a pool along with a sauna (we didn’t use this) and an on site restaurant. The prices were reasonable. overall a nice, relaxing place to stay with lovely people.

The property and pool were really clean and we loved the sauna! The shower pressure is extremely high which is nice, but if you tone it down to regular speed, the drain will be able to handle it;) We loved the classic Colombian breakfast which was included in the price and also the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was also great! We loved our stay and it’s very good value for money!

The staff was incredibly friendly and the servixe was excellent! Way better than in much more expensive hotels in Bogota or Medellin. The facilities and the breakfast were better than expected for this price. The location is a perfect starting and pickup point for your daytours! Only thing the hotel could imrpove are the dogs which are runnin around, they can be a bit disturbing if youre not a dog person. Overall a great stay in San Gil.

A lovely hotel in the centre of San Gil. What stands out the most is the team's attention to detail and desire to help make our stay fantastic. This extended to giving advice on local restaurants, bringing coffee to our rooms, and booking onwards travel to Barichara (and then to Bucaramanga later in our trip). We cannot thank Vanessa and her team enough for their kindness that went above and beyond.

The staff was excellent when we had accidentally locked ourselves out on the balcony they were able to come up and rescue us promptly. And the location is top notch, there are plenty of adventure companies within 2 blocks and a few restaurants as well.

The design of the property is unique, breakfast was delicious and very rich. Loved the location, 10 min walk from the main square but very silent and calm so could have a very good rest. We spent 2 nights at Casa Barichara. It was never so easy for us to say: everything was great at this boutique hotel, todo excelente. Large rooms with comfortable beds, central location on a higher spot with beautiful views over Barichara, terrace with large open- air spaces and hammocks, small pool. And everyone of the female staff so friendly and always with a smile. Certainly we will stay here again, and more nights, when coming back to Barichara.

Location is beautiful, inspired and historical and local architecture, clean, with huge and cozy rooms and bathrooms. If you have a plan yo rest, relaxing and enjoying the hotel facilities, this is a wonderful option, or if you prefer to combine with sightseeing surroundings, and to visit small towns around hotel, it is perfect choosing. The Coffee tour offers by Nelson, was amazing, definitely he cares about you feel like you belong to this place, additionally, his terrific knowledge about coffee and all about this place, make the perfect combination to do of this experience one of the better of the visitors experiences. 100% recommended, not only to go once, also to go back always as is possible, since, for sure! each time you’ll find a magnificent experience!!

The hotel is so beautiful! An ideal place to relax. The location is great because it allows you to visit other towns surrounding the place. The hotel has many spaces for recreation: swimming pool, bar, cafe, coffee tour, pine forest, etc. The included breakfast was delicious. Rooms were big and clean! The customer service was wonderful, the host was always attentive to what we needed! We did the coffee tour and it was a very good experience. We learned a lot!

Definitely one of the best hotels of our entire trip. The finca is absolutely beautiful, a great place to relax and enjoy the warm weather and visit the nearby tourist spots. Every member of the staff is friendly, the manager Nelson and our coffee tour guide Juan made our stay really enjoyable. We also used the spa services and were not disappointed. We would love to come back!

Casa Guati is a fantastic hotel. It is new (ca. 3 years), it is located just outside of the beautiful town of Barichara (10m walk) with a fantastic pool and best view on the town. Restaurant services are great and also there you benefit from a fantastic view. Rooms are very comfortable, often with a small terrace and/or an outside shower. Service is great and staff is very helpful.

Stayed 4 nights here and it was like being in paradise. Staff was exceeptional and the view from our room was like being in a movie. We had to walk 10 minutes to town which we enjoyed. Barichara was our favorite stop so far in Colombia and this was agreat spot. Only thing was our chicken on the first night was undercooked and we had to discuss with restaurant manager as we did not want to pay for a meal that we did not eat and were stressed about being sick. The reataurant chef took full responsability and in the end they did not charge us for the plate. We left a good tip

The food in this place is amazing!! My favourite was breakfast time. We would recommend having a massage, we really enjoyed it. The rooms and hotel are beautiful

The room was very comfortable, the pool deck and the common areas are beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was very helpful and kind. We had three people in our room and felt it to be spacious and comfortable. It is on the edge of town, so very quiet and peaceful. The aesthetic of the hotel is well designed and we would be happy to stay again.

The room was clean and spacious, the hotel is beautiful with its colonial style, and well maintained; the pool was perfect for the afternoon heat. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good, the best part was the arepas. We loved them. It was quiet, and pet friendly.

What a beautiful property. Everything was amazing. The hotel is just perfect. My room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was warm and friendly, and always ready to help with whatever i needed. The location was great, just two blocks away from the main square. Breakfast was the same as most Colombian places, but very well prepared. Wifi worked great all the time. The property has a very stately and historic feel to it. The pool was great for cooling down after hiking the camino real. I met the owner as i was leaving and he took the time to say hello, chat for a while and give me some history of the hotel.

Everything is wonderful. Easy walk from the centre and buses. Great walks and birdwatching nearby. Bars and restaurants near. Staff friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. The building is colonial and beautiful with rooms cleaned every day and hot showers. Love it and booked extra nights

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the Wi-Fi was excellent more choices at breakfast for the European guests would be nice, The pool was good clean and fresh but leaves get in during the day

The breakfast was delicious! We had choices of Changua or pericos, they were both delicious.
