The room (grand family suite) was amazing: very large room with fully equipped and modern bathroom, even with seating area and fridge. We didn’t used the option to have breakfast in the hotel.

we loved everything. the attention to details and the staff are amazing. exceptionally clean our breakfast was the highlight. eating strawberries and grapes dripping in fresh honey… happiness!

Perfect location, very close to the beach and still close to the commercial area (15min walk). My room looked directly on the dune and nature and it was lovely. The staff was very nice and helpful. I only stayed one night but that's the kind of place I would stay for a few days to enjoy the sea.

Spacious rooms and huge bathrooms. Everything made for wheelchair access. Fantastic breakfast buffet and staff.

Hotel restaurant was really good, food was delicious. Staff was friendly and nice. We are really happy with our stay and will surely go again.

The Loftroom for 3 people is comfortable as you have a couch to sit on and can make your own coffee to enjoy relaxing on the balcony too. Very comfortable bed and even good pillows! Breakfast has improved since my first stay there many years ago.

In particular, I liked the quality of the bread and the Cappuccino. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel homy.

StrandGut is the hotel to stay when you visit St. Peter Ording. It is located directly in the center and at the beach in the town where the pier leads to the beach in St. Peter Bad. You can reach everywhere - whether in town or at the beach - walking. Take a room with seaview. The rooms on the top flow even have a sauna. The rooms are furnished with modern and bright furniture giving you a relaxed and happy feeling. The restaurant offers a very good breakfast buffet and good and modern food during lunch or dinner. You have direct access to the Therme. There is a room in which you can play table tennis or games with your family. All staff is very friendly. You just feel extremely comfortable and relaxed during your stay.

It is a really nice hotel with very friendly staff. Situated at the beach and in the middle of a small village center, perfect! Travelling with a dog was very easy and comfortable. From dog basket over dog bowl to dog snacks, everything was very well organized.

The hotel has a wonderful location directly on the bridge to the beach, very nice rooms with a wonderful view, very tasty food and a super friendly team. I would love to come back!

Oh yes, the rooms are perfectly equipped and very modern. Very comfortable and the bed mattresses are very high quality. Bundesliga can be watched and there are great offers to be found there! To breakfast they also provided a little daily note - referring to the weather repot and tips where to go (in german only).

Die Lage ist toll, alles schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen: Restaurants., Geschäfte , die Seebrücke und Strand. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön , modern eingerichtet .

Sehr schönes Hotel mit einer super Lage. Das Hotel ist in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße von wo aus man ab gleich in 3-5 Minuten mitten im Geschehen (Restaurants sowie Brücke zum Strand) ist. Uns hat auch sehr gefallen, dass es im Zimmer eine kleine Kochnische mit Herd, Mikrowelle und Kühlschrank gibt. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und das Hotel auch weiterempfehlen.

Es handelt sich um ein kleines Frühstückshotel, bei dem nicht rund um die Uhr Personal zur Verfügung steht. Aber da dies von vornherein klar war, hatten wir kein Problem damit. Für uns steht fest, dass wir auf jeden Fall wieder dort Urlaub machen werden.

Vielen Dank für einige schöne Tage über Ostern. Das Hotel und und seine Zimmer haben nicht zu viel versprochen. Leider war das Wetter nicht perfekt, um den hinteren Teil des Hotels, den Gartenbereich zu nutzen. Dort stehen Strandkörbe und das ganze Ambiente lädt zum Verweilen ein. Ganz lieben Dank an Frau Heydecke und die Dame die uns empfangen hat. Wir fühlten uns gut aufgenommen und umsorgt :-) Bis zum nächsten Mal

Ein sehr nettes kleines Hotel, fast schon familiär. Service von zwei verschiedenen Personen sehr freundlich. Frühstück ist auch toll und lecker, alles in allem ein tolles Wochenende für ein wenig Erholung. Für Hundebesitzer gut, da dort auch viel Platz und Rasen für die Vierbeiner ist. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis gut. Gerne wieder.

Alles top. Personal sehr freundlich. Ruhig gelegen. Bushaltestelle 2 Minuten, Deich ca. 6 Minuten vom Haus entfernt.

Nice variety of juices, cereal, rolls, as well as fresh fish and cold cuts. Typical German, yet refreshingly maritime. Unfortunately, no in-room coffee machine, but small mini-bar. We also liked the screen on the large window in our room -- kept the bugs out at night :-) All in all: We loved it!

It is a good hotel; very Family oriented hotel. Big rooms (doubled bed) room. Not so nice breakfast thou; coffee didn't taste good; not a lot of variety and the variety wasn't much so the trays were almost empty. With 20 guests eating at the same time. You must have car because the nearest means of transportation 1100M. From the hotel.

If you are a walker, it is nice not to be right in the centre of the St. Peter Ording Bad but just 10 minutes away from the action. St. Peter Ording - Dorf is about 20 minutes away. The hotel is on the main road to St.Peter Ording however has a lovely dune garden in the rear to relax, if you do not want to walk the 30 minutes to the beach. The owners are involved daily and assuring good service and friendliness.

Leider wurde beim Check In die Bitte, ein ggf. höher bezahltes Zimmer auf der Seeseite zu bekommen, etwas merkwürdig behandelt. Beim Ankommen, wollte sich ein netter Herr darum kümmern und den Wunsch prüfen. Beim späteren eigentlichen Einchecken (einchecken ab 15Uhr), drängte sich eine sehr unfreundliche Dame dazwischen, obwohl der Herr offenbar eine Option anbieten wollte. Diese meinte auf etwas herablassende Weise, sie macht das schon und vermittelte mir, dass dies nicht geht weil keine Zimmer frei seien. Später stellte sie erst unsere Aufenthaltsdauer fest! Bei der bestandenen Bezahlung der Vorauskasse (bisher unüblich), ging offensichtlich am Nachbarschalter der Vorgang eines Upgrades reibungslos. Seltsam war auch, dass am Anreisetag, dass in dem doch großen Restaurant um 15:30Uhr kein Platz mehr für den Abend zu reservieren war. Begründung der Dame.. die Kapazität im Restaurant sei ausgeschöpft und man müsste da spätestens um 12Uhr reservieren. (problematisch bei 15 Uhr Zimmerbezug). Das Zimmer selbst war geräuschbelastet durch Ventilatoren auf dem Dach des Hauptgebäude. Ansonsten aber eine schöne Lage am Stand. Und zuvorkommendes Personal (mit der Ausnahme).

Wir waren für ein Erholungswochenende dort. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Zimmer war sauber, komfortabel und schön eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbüffet ließ keine Wünsche offen, die Auswahl war grandios! Auch das Buffet am Samstag aber war hervorragend! Nur die Parkplatzsituation würde ich als schwierig beschreiben. Aber alles in allem hatten wir ein super schönes Wochenende! Wir werden mit Sicherheit wieder kommen!

Flink og hjælpsom personale. Varieret morgenmadsbuffet. Vi besluttede os, at spise i deres restaurant blev vi skuffet. Der var 6 par i restauranten, da vi ikke havde reserveret blev vi afvist med at de var fuld booket☹️ Det kunne vi ikke forstå, men gik ned i byen og spiste. Vi kom tilbage kl 20:30 og køkkenet lukker kl 22:00 var der 3 par tilbage i restauranten. Skuffende at man med 3 tjenere ikke kan betjene mere end 6 gæster. 😢

Sehr netter Empfang und tolle Zimmer im Strandflügel. Drei Saunen und ein kleines Schwimmbecken, sowie der tolle Wellnessbereich im 5. Stock haben und sehr gut gefallen. Fahrräder konnten sich untergebracht werden. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist das ziemlich teure Restaurant, auch wenn es sehr lecker war, war es auch sehr wenig. Alles in allem ein sehr tolles Hotel, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

We had our wedding in St.Peter-Ording and we needed a hotel for our family and friends to stay over the long weekend. Great location, very friendly staff and individual rooms made the stay of our wedding party very enjoyable. We also had our "cocktail hour" in the hotel, food was excellent and drinks refreshing. The only negative thing is that there is no A/C in the rooms, and our stay at the beginning of June was the hottest weekend for long periods. On the other hand, they have the same problem in so many other hotels in St.Peter. Definitely will recommend for our friends and family again, and we will visit ourselves as well. ..

We loved the hall which was stylish yet children friendly and where guests could buy anything from ice cream to wine to snacks, 24/7. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the little kitchen had all it needed. The nearby bakery was amazing, the highlight of our stay there!

It was cozy and friendly. Quiet neighborhood and the city center in walking distance with nice restaurants and bars. The beach as also very close.

They even provided all the necessary equipment for our dog. :)

The room was large and stylish and, although the property is an annex, next door to the hotel, we were looked after very attentively by the reception staff, who were very friendly.

Simply an amazing hotel - i have travelled all over the world and rarely found a hotel in Germany where I felt that relaxed and welcome - it is not your typical hotel but has much more the feeling of a beautiful family run high quality guest house you would find in New Zealand or the like. The area was very pleasant, with lots of green spaces. My room was a good size and so was the bathroom. The breakfast was great! It was about a 20 minute walk from the süd railway station, flat and easy.

Good location, clean comfortable room. Friendly owner. Beautiful property, nice interior. Breakfast available on request. There was electric kettle and hairdryer in the room. We had a street facing room , with windows closed it wasn’t loud enough to disturb us .

The rooms are flexibly designed for families. The proprietor, fluent in English, was immensely kind, considerate, and helpful. We highly recommend her excellent breakfast!
