Our check in was extremely pleasant (and we were upgraded immediately to a suite). The late night bell staff was perfect in ushering us to our very large suite with floor to ceiling windows, facing the Cordillera. Bed firmness and linens were perfect. Besides the very nice breakfast spread, we did not eat in the NOI's restaurants but had a wonderful drink and moment in the rooftop restaurant/pool area. I personally liked NOI's location, very quiet and easy to get to (and identifiable in Uber). The gym is perfect for short term stay but alas we did not use the spa facilities that looked extremely nice.

We booked the Terrace Suite King Room for 2 nights. Great and quiet room with a beautiful view from the balcony which also had a nice size spa for us to relax in the evening. Staff in Reception were great and there were plenty of options in the breakfast buffet. We both loved the area where the hotel is located with lots and lots of great restaurants and good shopping nearby.

Excellent boutique hotel in a very upscale and safe neighborhood. The hotel is beautiful, with a tropical theme. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The room was big, well furnished and very quiet and comfortable, with city views. The bathroom was large with great water pressure. The hotel had a lot of personal touches with pictures of the owner's family and story. The included breakfast was good. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Uber is easily available, and the staff called for taxis whenever we requested. This was one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed in.

We are more than happy to choose this hotel for our last days of a 3 week trip in South America. Everything was perfect. The location is a beautiful suburb, safe and peaceful. The hotel itself is fully renovated, rooms and bathrooms feature an excellent warm style. Our room had a beautiful view of the city and the Andes. There are 2 great restaurants in the property and we tested them both. For this quality of hotel and service, I consider this hotel very reasonably priced. Top marks for the stuff, from Patricio at the reception who welcomed us after a long and tiring day traveling, to the stuff in restaurants and cleaning service, they were all great!

Our experience was fabulous! We got caught in power outage and couldn’t get in until 4 am. The hotel ensured we had transportation from the airport in the chaos. The staff were warm and friendly and very helpful. The concierge went above and beyond on getting us dinner reservations at great restaurants. The breakfast was expansive with everything including personalized egg preparation. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were luxurious. The pool area was like a spa atmosphere. We just loved it all!!!

Our travel agent had booked us in a Hilton in Santiago but we wanted to stay in a more local hotel plus we wanted the free breakfast. I am so glad we switched. Hotel Eco Boutique Bidasoa was delightful in every way. Our room - I traveled with my sister - was spacious and well thought out. The staff was super helpful, the breakfast and all dining was exceptional (yummy) , and we enjoyed hanging out by the pool. The neighborhood seemed very safe and really lovely. It was easy for our guides to pick us up. I would stay there again.

We stayed here for two nights but arrived late on our first night owing to our flight's arrival time and left very early in the morning due to our flight's departure time! But... This hotel was very well located in a safe neighborhood (IMO). Walking distance to restaurants and the Costanera Center. The hotel itself was very well priced and we got a huge suite for our stay. The room was very clean and the beds were comfy. We would have happily stayed longer and would definitely consider this hotel when returning to Santiago in the future. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive. We only had the included breakfast for one of the days as we left at around 3.30am on the final day. The breakfast was pretty standard (similar to the offer of most Santiago hotels) but it was tasty and freshly prepared. We sat on the outdoor terrace (breakfast is on floor 17) and had a spectacular view over the surrounding area. The pool is on this floor as well - we didn't get to use this facility but looked through the doors to it and it looked great! Lots of positives for this hotel including cost, location, cleanliness, friendly staff and quiet. We would definitely return.

I loved the location of this hotel, the breakfast buffet and the room I booked. I totally recommend the King suite. It's big, classy and quiet. Overall, everything is very clean. Omg, the breakfast is wonderful with very nice views of the city. Several relatives came to have dinner or lunch with me during my stay. The restaurant offers a really good menu at reasonable prices. We all had a great time. But no place is perfect. The gym gets too warm. It needs better air circulation. I didn't take a swim in the pool, but looked fantastic with, again, nice views of Las Condes. I will definitely stay at this hotel again!

Front Desk Staff: I had questions about the bill and the front desk staff were very helpful and explained what to expect (credit card refund). 3. Location/safety: We felt safe walking around the area. Many restaurants and bars close by (walking distance).

We loved the amenities. The rooftop pool is small, but was not usually in use when we went in the evenings and it was kept incredibly warm. I am not sure this was normal, but it was close to hot tub temps and felt great considering the chilly fall air outside. It was very peaceful and relaxing. There is a small area to suntan outside as well. The basement has the game room with billiards, chess and dominos available. The tables are more american style and the cue sticks as well... and to my surprise the cue sticks were not horrible (although not great). The location is also amazing with numerous restaurants nearby and Costanera Center close by as well. We felt very safe walking around and experienced no issues. I also liked that you could open the windows slightly to get some fresh air. It was cool at night so we didn't need the AC at all.

El piso de madera sucio, le urge una limpieza profunda, la sala de cuero con varias manchas (a pesar de ser cuero).

Hings don't get better than the Boulevard Suites--complimentary in-room breakfast, free underground parking, access to SPA, gym, pool, restaurants, and all other amenities at the adjoined Marriott Hotel. The rooms are very spacious and with breath-taking views of Santiago and the Andes. The price I found on hotells.com was MUUUCH cheaper than the rate I got booking directly with the hotel. Unfortunately, the service in the lounge restaurant at the Marriott was slow and unattentive, however, the attentiveness and willingness to serve by the staff at Boulevard makes you forget that one bad dinner. Location is right on the edge of Vitacura and Las Condes, so it doesn't get better than this.

The service was wonderful! The location was very safe and just a few minutes from a grocery store and two malls. There is a gorgeous park behind the hotel to visit as well. I felt secure in the area as a disabled person. The view was spectacular and did not disappoint. I think that given the hotel's price, the furniture could be updated and made more comfortable. Repairs in the suite were needed during our stay, however, the staff was quick to make sure everything was working efficiently. The room was kept clean, and housekeeping each day. There entrance door though I did not see a disability button making it very difficult to open the door on my own.

Stayed 2 nights following Antarctica cruise. Next to wonderful mall with lots of restaurants, shopping and tour bus pickup. Within walking distance of subway if you don't mind the walk. Taxis readily available. Beautiful park next door. Very nice area in Las Condes section. We were on 28th floor in corner suite with fantastic views of Andes foothills. Suite had very large living/dining area, separate large bedroom, full kitchen and 1 1/2 baths. Hotel situated in higher floors of Marriott with access to all Marriott ammenities. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Ouststanding! Definitely will stay again if we ever go back to Santiago.

Great modern hotel. Full service concierge, always helpful. Delicious breakfast and one of the best fitness rooms. Location next to many great restaurants. Only one recommendation for the hotel - add a door between the sink and shower area and the bed area. If the room is dark the light from this area wakes up the whole room, plus one can watch your fellow guests shower from the beds and desk area (through the mirror across from the shower.)

The hotel has the most amazing views of the Andes! It appears that every room has a view and the roof top pool and bar has almost a 360 degree view. Staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. With 25 years of global travel as a Flight Attendant as well as time working at the Ritz Carlton all I can say is the W is the best and gets it right. So many five star hotels are too stuffy and outdated.

The hotel is located in a lovely and clean and safe area of Santiago. They have a phenomenal rooftop bar with an amazing view that you need to visit at least once if not twice. Every staff member was amazing and willing to help and go out of their way to help. Special mention to Lucas one of the concierge members who was incredibly attentive. We had a great experience here

Really friendly staff from start to finish. Super comfortable room with huge shower. Top quality breakfast selection. Hotel layout is a bit annoying in that you have to take three different sets of lifts to get to different areas. Some of the decor felt a bit dated. Pool bar / food menu was poor. Hotel is in a really nice part of Santiago, close to bars and restaurants.

We absolutely loved our stay in this fabulous place that had lots of character, comfortable beds, great a/c, excellent wifi and was located in a lovely residential neighborhood that felt utterly safe and was close to good places to eat and drink and a 20 to 30 minute walk from LA Starria and Bellavista. Breakfast was juice, eggs, great bread, great coffee and fruit with granola and yogurt and some very tasty cake. But best of all was the care, help and sheer kindness from the young lady who took amazing care of us during our stay. I'm just sorry I cannot recall her name. She was what made our stay so amazing and we cannot thank her enough. She even brought us a table and chairs to our room which just made everything perfect.

Very clean and homely, the bed was huge and super comfortable. The bathroom was so clean and had some soap shampoo too. It is in a nice location and Ubers are all around. There are places to eat nearby and a supermarket too. The staff are so welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast is delicious with everything you’d want, eggs fruit coffee pancakes. It was good value for money in the city, we had a lovely stay :)

Comfortable stay in Providencia. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the amenities in the hotel, such as the kitchen, were free for all guests to use. Shared bathrooms which were clean and included a great shower. Staff were great, and a very good breakfast was provided each day and even provided a takeaway bag if you were leaving early. Plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacies in close proximity.

The staff was very friendly, thoughtful, and helpful. Astrid and Nadia were great hosts and extremely patient with my terrible Spanish. The breakfast was nice too and well-prepared. My private room was very large and the shared bathrooms were maintained well and always clean. It was a comfortable bed and a quiet neighborhood. I really enjoyed the Plaza and Parque Ines de Suarez nearby.

Lovely old building in a great neighborhood about a half hour walk from the main downtown area and close to some excellent restaurants and bars. The young lady who is running the place was so friendly and helpful going above and beyond to make our stay special. Beds were comfortable and shower and a/c worked great. The room had lots of charm.

Brilliant stay, from the moment I arrived. The staff at reception were exceptionally helpful, warm and friendly. The room was compact but well equipped and very comfortable. Breakfast was superb.

A charming old Santiago hotel in a little cobblestone precinct in the Centro Historico. The rooms are basic but comfortable. Breakfast is included and available 03:00-10:00. Reception is 24 hours. Although nobody speaks English the staff are very friendly and helpful.

I liked that it had a Jacuzzi inside and it was upstairs and pretty quiet. The staff were pretty straight forward with services.

The room was comfortable and pleasantly decorated, a bottle of water was given free when checking in, and the breakfast was plenty and nice. The room was also pretty quiet, without sound from other guests or from the street. The location was also quite convenient, only a 10 minute walk to the downtown area. The staff were also always amicable when I spoke to them.

We started out with a rather small room, but it had everything you needed. Very quiet with doors opening to a garden. After spending a night in Vaparaiso we came back for one more night and were treated to a "superior" room, which was absolutely amazing. Huge King size bed, jacuzzi bathtub, private balcony and all the space you can wish for. Breakfast buffet was also excellent. They kept our luggage in the hotel while we were in Valparaiso, and were altogether extremely helpful with every problem or question we had. I can highly recommend the hotel

This is a nice local boutique hotel in a great location . The hotel is located in the Bellavista area of Santiago which is the artisan and bohemian district of the city . We loved the area with all its murals and plenty of restaurants / bars within walking distance The hotel doesn't have an elevator something to be aware of if stairs are a problem . Our room was spacious and comfortable , a bit more storage would have been nice . We had a very small bathroom and even smaller shower , for some reason when we took a shower the bathroom floor flooded , hope they fixed this . The air conditioning and wifi were fine , the room also had a safe and mini bar . Our room had a small balcony and the hotel has a roof top deck with great views . The breakfast was very basic and this is where there is room for improvement . Dirty dishes were left sitting on tables and the staff seemed to hide in the kitchen area afraid to interact with the guests . We were able to walk to most of the attractions that we wanted to see in Santiago . The hotel does not have a gym but a good one is located a couple blocks away . For spectacular views of the city don't miss the funicular/cable car which are not far from the hotel . Don't be concerned with the ongoing protests and graffiti , educate yourself . The protests were never a problem during our visit to Santiago . Thanks to Sebastian and the other front desk staff for all their assistance during our visit

I stayed here as part of an Intrepid group tour and it was definitely one of the best hotels we stayed at. The rooms were large and comfortable and the staff friendly warm and welcoming. Unfortunately we stayed during the recent state of emergency but the staff could not have been more helpful (they even cooked a simple dinner for us as all of the local restaurants were closed) and we felt entirely safe despite having a birds eye view of the protests. They were also helpful in helping me arrange a day trip to Valparaíso managing all of the booking process for me and on my first night recommended the most lovely restaurant for me to dine in. The neighbourhood of Bellevista where the hotel is located is lovely, very arty and full of bars and restaurants so the hotel is perfectly located for both there and downtown.

We were greeted upon arrival by a most helpful...and strong...doorman, who turned out to also provide security. There was someone there day and night to let residents in and out of the hotel. The reception desk staff were kind and informative, making travel and excursion arrangements for us and suggesting nearby restaurants. Rooms are spread over 4 floors and all have courtyard views. First floor rooms open onto the courtyard itself; this floor is also where the breakfast is served. More than half the rooms on the upper floors have balconies, and we were able to leave our Windows open for a lovely breeze all night. Rooms are spacious but pretty basic. However, room was sensationally clean. Bathroom was ridiculously small with no place to put even your toothbrush...unless you like leaving yours on the back of the toilet. Water was hot and shower was good. Breakfast was mostly continental but with nice extras. Besides coffee, tea and toast, there was cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, meat and cheese, eggs, and even crepes one morning. The food bar is set up and replenished during the morning. Definitely enough food to keep you going for a good part of the day. The hotel is in the Bellavista area, about a 10-minute walk from the funnicular going up to the Madonna on the hill, Pablo Neruda's house (fascinating!!), lapis lazily shops (if you are into this cool blue stone), and the art museum/metro/Hop-on bus stop. Fab location.

We only booked one night for our final night in South America. Wish we had arrived earlier. Perfect location, surprisingly quiet for a busy street. Clean rooms with comfy beds. The concierge Sebastian was fabulous! Providing a city map and dining suggestions. Breakfast included which was delicious, fresh fruit as well as eggs, sausages and bread with a range of teas and coffee. Great value for money. We would definitely stay again!

The atmosphere in The Place is amazing. Our apartment was modern and spacious, with a huge terrace and a beautiful view. There's a restaurant with various and delicious food as well as a nice lobby with electric sockets and everything else needed for a productive working day. There's also a roof top bar with a small pool. The view from there is also amazing. We had chosen a package with a breakfast included in the price and it was really good - you can chose from a few menu types like American, continental, etc. The portions were good and the food - tasty. We also had a coffee machine with capsules provided. There's a parking free of charge.

What a gem!! This place is so comfortable, clean, spacious and well equipped. The restaurant downstairs is fantastic. Staff are extremely helpful. Paid laundry downstairs is clean. Rooftop is lovely too, but the wifi doesn’t work up there. Short walk to good restaurants, or eating in is nice and simple. We would happily stay again.

The staff were really friendly and checkin was easy (payment was sorted before we arrived which was a lot easier than some places on our trip where only cash was accepted). The studio flat was exactly as shown in the photos and was a great space. The location was about a 10 minute walk from the metro station, and there were lots of shops and restaurants around. Since we booked on booking.com we got 2 coffee pods and bottles of water each day and we could choose if we wanted the cleaners to come by putting the hanging sign on our door. There's a lovely restaurant downstairs, where we had a lovely dinner. The pool was lovely, really quiet and there were gorgeous views over the city.

Our large apartment had everything we needed to recover from jetlag and self cater for a few days whilst also enjoying the restaurant downstairs which served breakfast lunch and dinner. Clean and very well appointed. The apartment was comfortable and had a wonderful terrace with a view.

If you want to visit Santiago and get a positive impression. Just book it. Great locations. Very kind and helpful staff. Free parking. Very convenient for remote work. I just wound not recommend to pay in advance for the breakfast in restaurant. Breakfast is good, but it will give you a chance to try have a breakfast somewhere else.

Our King size room with balcony looked towards San Christobal hill which was nice, and was spacious and beautifully cleaned each day. The rooftop bar was a fantastic place for pre dinner drinks, and very good value we found. The pool was a little too cold for a proper swim, but the area around it was very pleasant to sit and relax taking in the late afternoon views. Breakfast was al la carte, tasty and very well presented. But our favourite thing about the hotel was their staff - everyone from the doormen, concierge, porter, front desk, breakfast room, cleaners and rooftop bar were professional, but welcoming and friendly. A particularly lovely thing was that, just like in Asia, many members of staff remembered our names and greeted us by them each day - really special touch! We felt very at home here. We’ll be back!

This hotel is amazing. Your morning will start with a delicious two-course breakfast of breads then eggs cooked to your preference. The rooms were spacious, with a large workstation (I bring my laptop while traveling to process photos). The beds were comfortable; they even had turn-down service! Bathroom was clean, shower had amazing water pressure. Location is right next to a vibrant restaurant scene and walking distance to the magnificent Pre-Columbian museum. Make sure to check out the ice cream shop across the street! Finally, I loved the courteous and helpful staff. The service is impeccable and deserve 10 out of 5 stars. After check-out, they even allowed us to use the spa to freshen up before our late flights. The rooftop bar was marvelous, offering a variety of drinks including one with calafate liqueur, which basically guarantees that we'll be back!

This is a smartly understated hotel with exceptional staff, fantastic a la carte buffet breakfast and a great location. The rooms are well appointed, very comfortable, spacious and clean. I spent my birthday there and the staff provided little bday touches such as in room petit four and breakfast cake with candle, not over the top but a lovely touch. All of the staff were a pleasure to deal with, however particular stand outs were David the doorman who accompanied me to the nearest shop to buy an adapter, Gary who was so helpful when we needed to organise an early start airport car and breakfast, and Martin the concierge who was helpful even before we arrived with details of our booking and provided us with invaluable support during our stay. Highly recommended, fantastic experience here.

Beautiful, stylish and comfortable hotel for a spot of luxury after 2 weeks travelling around Chile. The room was spacious and equipped with everything we needed, including an adapter plug which was a nice touch. The staff throughout the hotel were exceptional. We used the rooftop pool area/bar which was a relaxing suntrap, and also ate in the rooftop restaurant (due to it being a public holiday, so not a lot of other places were open for dinner). The dinner and breakfast the following morning were of a high quality. It’s also in a great location - we loved the Barrio Lasterria.

Fabulous stay at the Singular Santiago. I wanted to be close to the culture of Santiago without sacrificing any luxury and this hotel checked every box. I also looked into the W and Mandarin Oriental but I felt that they were in an area away from the cultural epicenter. Plus I had read some reviews that those properties needed renovations. I am so glad I booked at The Singular Santiago! Walkable to many great restaurants in the surrounding several blocks where the culture comes alive at night with lots of outdoor dining options. Standouts were the service (thanks Martin (concierge) and David (bellman) for going above and beyond!) Hotel room with all the amenities was a comfortable retreat after being out in the Santiago heat all day. A speciality cocktail by the pool with views of sprawling Santiago was a treat. On a clear day you can see the snow capped Andes. I can’t speak to the dinner at the hotel restaurant as I ate off property each night, however breakfast each morning was great and again first class service. Singular Santiago made my birthday trip one to remember. Thanks again!

There were always several of them in the lobby ensuring guests had what they needed, and one posted on the sidewalk at the door to help guests entering the hotel. That was a nice touch that provided a sense of security. There is a cozy library with comfy chairs next to the the lobby, and a wonderful rooftop restaurant/bar with terrific cocktails and nice views. The rooms are large, modern, well designed and clean. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Hotel manager Yranis Linares was particularly helpful - he went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. We had a challenging situation with a scam car ride from the airport to the hotel when we first arrived, and Mr. Linares and his staff did an amazing job handling everything for us and ensuring we felt safe.

The property is just stunning. The hotel itself is amazing…the decor throughout is really beautiful - modern and fresh but still with a classical feel. Our room was fantastic - very spacious and light and very well appointed throughout. The food in the hotel was excellent - the breakfast was fabulous and the food and drinks in the rooftop bar were also great. The rooftop bar has a great vibe - we spend a lot of time there enjoying the view and the great relaxing environment. The hotel is without a doubt spectacular - truly 5 star - but it’s their incredible people that really take it to the next level. Just to mention a few amazing team members - Agustin and Randi on the front desk, Matias, Edward, Fernando, Sebastian and Pedro in the restaurants, and Gabriel and Felipe on the door…but every staff member was friendly, personable, and incredibly helpful. Customer service overall at the hotel was exceptional.

Front desk staff was amazing. Randi, Paul, actually all of the staff were terrific. Very helpful, friendly, polite, and extending. Even the doormen were great. Hotel has a sophisticated, boutique vibe. Very striking architectural details were prevalent throughout the property. Room and bed were very comfortable. No view at all, but plenty of exterior light. Bathroom was spacious and well stocked with plenty of fresh towels. Rooftop restaurant and bar were inviting and food was excellent. There was a complementary open bar in lobby area that was nice for grabbing a cordial on the way up to our room. Complimentary breakfast was served in a very comfy well decorated room. Lots of fresh choices and eggs to order. The Eggs Benedict were excellent.

The hotel, rooms and roof terrace are very stylishly designed. From the roof terrace (open from midday until late evening), you have a beautiful view of the castle hill. The food in the rooftop restaurant is creative and delicious. The breakfast buffet is relatively varied and tasty. The breakfast room is on the ground floor and does not have floor-to-ceiling windows, but it is still cosy. The location is very central, yet the rooms are very quiet (very well insulated).

Hotel Magnolia is a gem of a hotel. The building has beautiful touches all around.The staff were helpful and friendly (answering our questions before we checked in). The rooms were the three Cs - cozy, comfortable and clean. At times, the lighting was moody / dark but it adds to the vibe of the place. The location is great as you can walk to museums, restaurants and shops. Breakfast was included and it was decent. However the on site restaurant dinner options were delicious. When we checked out we were gifted beautiful cookies to go. Would definitely recommend.

Exceptional service! All staff were so friendly and super helpful. Good location, next to a tube station and nearca lot of nice coffee shops and restaurants. Walking distance to Costanera shopping centre. Lovely swimming pool, water was always warm and really nice to swim in. Jacuzzi was nice and warm too. There was sauna and steamer in the changing rooms, separate for men and women. Great views from the pool and also outside space. The hotel is a bit old but exceptionally clean and super well maintained. The hotel has really nice, homely feeling. I would happily stay there again.

The room was really nice and we were upgraded as I’m a Gold member which was great. Some housekeeping is needed as the one bulb had gone in the lamp and the safe battery was low. The air con also didn’t do a great job in cooling the room. The pool area and small outdoor terrace were superb. This truly makes this hotel stand-out. Pool, jacuzzi and the whole area were stunning. The Club Lounge was superb. Lots of decent quality food and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The toilet didn’t have any soap, and despite us telling the staff, this wasn’t replenished. I guess this would be how I would sum-up the hotel: really nice, but some processes need tightening to make it that Ritz-Carlton quality.

Incredible service and beautiful hotel. I lived in Chile a few years ago so this trip I got to play “tourist” and being able to end our vacation with a few day stay at this hotel felt very luxurious. The breakfast is delicious - eggs to order and a buffet of meats, cheeses, potatoes, pastries, smoked salmon etc. Our rate included breakfast but I believe it’s about 20,000 CLP pp if not. We went to breakfast in our slippers every morning and the wait staff is very attentive and friendly. We used the spa as much as possible - you have to make a reservation but there were a few times we were able to just walk in without any issue. The outdoor terrace is a beautiful place to relax after a sauna or hot tub and also a nice place to have a toast of champagne. We had a king room overlooking the city. We didn’t have any Mountain view but we’re happy with our view and the room was very clean and so cozy. I have back pain so it’s hard to get a good nights sleep - their beds are so comfortable! Very soft linens and comfy mattress. The bellmen and concierge were incredibly helpful and friendly. The building has character and feels old but somehow modern, like stepping back in time without sacrificing cleanliness. Those little details make this one of the best hotels in the city. The cleaning service was excellent, though I thought we were supposed to have turndown service but it never happened. Great location. Metro outside. We will 100% be back!

I stayed for two nights in early December 2017. I took the inexpensive Centroperto bus from the airport to Los Heroes (about US$5 round trip), from there it is only a 10 minute walk to the Matildas Hotel. The hotel is beautiful, full of character. My single room (13) was on the third floor and was clean and comfortable, and had enough space for one person plus luggage. The bed was comfortable, the room had a rear garden view, and the shower in the small bathroom had great water pressure. Staff on reception were very friendly and helpful, and spoke excellent English. Breakfast was very good, including cooked-to-order eggs (or omelette). Although there is a metro stop as Los Heroes, the Republica stop is a 2-3 minute shorter walk. The hotel is in a neighbourhood rather than "downtown", but I felt fine walking out in the evenings. While many would choose a chain hotel in the modern downtown/business area, I loved being in a small, beautifully unusual hotel in a "real" neighbourhood. It was a joy to stay here, and I would definitely return if my travels take me back to Santiago.

Beautifully restored historic building; elegant and characterful/ Designed by an architect, and later restored by an architect. Garden full of mature trees, with evening lighting - a green oasis in the city. Comfortable bed and spacious room. Lovely relaxing library. Staff extremely welcoming and helpful. Set back from the road, and felt safe with security gate. Good breakfast. Convenient for nearby restaurants - we ate at Las Vacas Gordas and La Martina - both very good.

Really friendly staff who were happy to help with anything you needed. They booked taxis for us, organised a tour, gave us restaurant advice. Excellent! Beautiful old building. We sat in the peaceful garden in the evenings sipping wine from the honesty bar- perfect. Breakfast isn’t until 7.30 when all our tours began but they gave us a really good packed breakfast. Clean, comfort, interesting. Definitely recommend.

I recently stayed at Matilda's and found it to be a charming property just outside the city center, yet conveniently walkable. The staff was exceptionally helpful, and the breakfast served was perfect. The highlight was the beautiful backyard, providing a serene escape for relaxation. During our stay, we explored Santiago extensively, walking from the hotel to the city center, visiting Christobelle, taking the funicular for panoramic views, descending on the gondola to Providencia for lunch, and strolling all the way back. It was a fantastic 30,000-step journey, all manageable for a day's outing from Matilda's. Returning to the hotel in the afternoon, we enjoyed a relaxing beer in the garden, surrounded by the tranquil atmosphere. The library with its wonderful collection of books on Chile added a delightful touch to our stay. Matilda's provided a perfect balance of exploration and relaxation, making our experience memorable.

We stayed twice in this hotel ( i.e. upon arrival and upon departure from Sth America) for a total of 3 nights.Most of the reception staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. The hotel was tastefully decorated and furnished in an "Old World Style". Due to a lack of elevators, we found it a bit difficult getting our bags up the stairs, but the charm of the place made up for this minor inconvenience. We loved the tranquil courtyard full of trees and appreciated the security that the high front remote controlled gates offered. The breakfasts were tasty and offered considerable variety, but the lunches unfortunately took too long to be prepared, even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. The location, being walking distance from the centre of Santiago , and also to the Human Rights museum in the opposite direction was very convenient . The rooms were very comfortable, both ours and that assigned to our adolescent children, all with nice decor and modern attractive showers. The hotel taxi service to the airport was very convenient, albeit a bit expensive. We are very glad of our choice of hotel, having been recommended other options ( skyscraper hotel and appartment ) by friends, but preferring this option , as it was unique and quaint.

We had a large comfortable, quiet room. The lights and air conditioning are controlled by a wall mounted device which we found difficult to use and couldn’t control the temperature so we found the room too warm. However, we didn’t ask for help so this could have been sorted out for us. The hotel is very close to a metro station so it made it very easy to get about and we felt safe in this area. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was very good. There is a very good and plentiful choice for breakfast. The description of having a swimming pool is a bit misleading as it’s more like a large jacuzzi which was disappointing. We would certainly return if ever in Santiago again.

Excellent hotel experience! The staff were incredibly professional and helpful. Our room was spacious with incredible mountain and city views. Breakfast was a delicious spread with plenty of options. The hotel restaurant was also convenient and served great food.

Good location, with metro station nearby and kind of simple shopping centre across the road. Also there is a curency exchange shop across if you just get from hotel and cross the road straight it is on the left side of the building in front of hotel. Good isolation and the room was pretty big. Bed was huge and comfy, pillows are good. Breakfast is good but a bit limited so keep in mind if you are staying for a several days. Check in was quick, we paid cash so the lady agreed do no take credit card details for security deposit, they just locked minibar as I was not keen to give credit card details. So recommend to pay cash USD rather than card. Check out was super quick we just gave keys back and got out. Breakfast started at 6.30 am. in weekdays and 7.30 on weekends. Coffee was good. In general great place to stay in Santiago. Hotel located in posh area, so pretty safe.

In the Las Condes business district so a little far from old town Santiago. But a lively area with shops, restaurants and nice residential neighborhoods. Hotel was clean, rooms spacious, and there was a good breakfast served every morning. First time in my experience that I could shower and freshen up in the gym facilities before I could even check in to my room! Nice touch.

This is our second stay, this hotel has it all: Location, Service, good food and good value! Breakfast which is included has good variety of fresh food both fruit and vegetables and even steamed vegetables for breakfast. We found especially that the restaurant has excellent food also for dinner.

Rooms were safe, functional and bright. Beds were very comfortable and restful. Breakfast was fresh and good. Staff were friendly and accommodating with enough English for life to go on. We liked it. We appreciate it.

The important things are this: 1)This hotel is located on a nice street with lots of locals and tourists walking up and down it. It felt safe. There are TONS of good food options, coffee shops and ice cream shops along this street. There are street vendors but not as many "shops". It is a charming street (not a busy street) mostly pedestrian traffic, but also our Uber could pick us up right outside the door. The hotel is also located about 1.5 blocks from the Catholic University (red line) subway stop.2)This hotel was CLEAN with BEAUTIFUL spaces. The breakfast was GOOD (not average, not fantastic-but the best of four hotels during our stay.)3)The front desk is bi-lingual and extremely helpful with anything you'd like to ask.We appreciated their professionally and kindness. We had a late international flight (midnight) back to the States, and they held our luggage, we could use the hotel facilities including the pool and the small changing room/shower in the gym for the rest of the day. This was really helpful. Several of the guests hung out at the lovely rooftop pool awaiting our flights. Also our room came with two free bottles of water in the in-room refrigerator.4) Comfortable bed and multiple types of pillows, two working elevators-very quick wait time- and nice hot water in an overhead rain shower.

We were welcomed with open arms by people we’d never met before! It was an amazing experience. The included breakfast was delicious each day, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. The location is perfect for exploring downtown Santiago. There are restaurants/wine bars/etc. available within 5 minutes to suit any taste. Santa Lucia Hill is within minutes, and it’s entirely possible and pleasant to walk through Bellavista (lunch at Restaurant Venezia was delicious) to the funicular at Cerro San Cristobal. We plan to return from Argentina for our last two days in South America and have not only booked again at the hotel but have actually asked for the same room!!

The property was modern, pristine, and well-appointed. The room was spacious, comfortable, and it had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay: comfortable bed, good climate control, well-designed bathroom. The location was perfect, in the Lastarria neighborhood, with its lively street scene and great restaurants. The park of Cerro Santa Lucia is in easy walking distance. While we had an early flight, we were not able to partake in the morning breakfast buffet, but the hotel prepared a takeaway bag for us.

We had a Mountain View room on the 17th floor for two nights over the weekend. This is a nice area of Santiago. Hotel was very nice. It was quiet. We enjoyed sitting out on the 18th floor terrace where there are beautiful views of Santiago. We had breakfast included in our rate. Breakfast on Saturday was kind of hectic (so many people checking out that day) and service was not the best plus the coffee machine kept malfunctioning. Breakfast on Sunday was wonderful and service was much better. Server offered to get us omelettes on Sunday which was really nice. Our flights were delayed and they allowed us on Sunday to keep our rooms until 2 and then store our luggage. We would stay here again.

We stayed in 3 different Marriott properties in our time in STGO. This one was the sleeper hit. Cheapest of the 3 and the best quality. Indoor pool was perfect, and self service laundry really saved us on our 2+ week trip to Chile. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We ate both dinner and breakfast at the hotel, both were solid. Room was spacious and most importantly, the bed was comfortable. Proximity to the mall next store was great for buying snacks and souvenirs. (The pizza vending machine in the mall stole my money though, avoid!) This will definitely be our only Santiago Hotel going forward.

We loved everything! The rooms are spacious, very comfortable, and they are well appointed. They went above and beyond every single moment to make our stay the best we've ever had. The breakfast is fresh and offers something for every palate. The price and location cannot be beat either. It is a nice walk to fabulous restaurants and is connected to the largest mall in South America. Talk about convenience. We stayed for 2 weeks and were thrilled we were there every single day.

This hotel is super luxurious and all around a great value for money. The beds and pillows are amazing and the service is great. The area is busy with people shopping and the hotel, especially the rooftop bar (which was amazing) is within walking distance to the El Golf neighborhood which is super safe and has great restaurants and parks. The hotel itself also has plenty of security and I felt comfortable leaving my stuff at the lounge for brief periods of time. If you can, ask for a room on floor 26 as these rooms have floor to ceiling windows and the noise from the bar below is less prevalent. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Santiago! Well done Marriott!

Location is perfect! Right above a big shopping center. Lots of food choices on the 5th floor, and there is a large grocery store in the mall as well. We did not have the breakfast in the hotel, as there are many cafe nearby. Room is clean, good size and nice view. Bathroom is modem, with a large shower. Metro station nearby even though we did not use it. Hotel front desk staffs were super friendly, easy to communicate in English, provided restaurant recommendations and helped arranging tours.

Great location in Santiago, close to the Sky Costanera tower, Cenco Costanera and within walking distance of the cable car to the Cerro San Cristobal. The rooms are luxurious and clean and ours had a great view of the Sky Costanera tower. The breakfast restaurant had an exceptional view of the whole city. Honestly not sure why this isn’t a 5 star hotel, this is by far the best 4 star hotel I’ve been to.

This was a points stay and I was (presumably) upgraded to a corner room. Extremely luxurious and somewhat wasted on me, but I enjoyed the experience nonetheless. Staff were super friendly and helpful in both English and Spanish. Breakfast buffet was excellent and great value for the money. Location next to the mall is ideal if you want to shop, otherwise it's a short walk to either Tobalaba or Los Leones subway stations depending on which direction you need to go. The area is very busy in the evening and weekends which can be a pro or a con depending on your preference. There's no pool and I didn't check out the gym because I was walking 18,000 steps a day. Overall, based on this experience the hotel is very highly recommended.

I had read other reviews saying it was the best hotel they had ever stayed at, and wasn't sure whether to believe this but I definitely do now. I would single out certain staff members for praise but everyone I encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. I had all facilities, timings etc explained to me on arrival and had a great chat with everyone. I even had a quick explanation and demonstration of everything in my room. It goes without saying the room was lovely but the view of the snowcapped Andes was something I could never tire of, and I could also see the amazing pool below. The pool area is stunning and the pool is huge. I was not there in summer and it is not heated so it is very cold on entry but once used to it, I was able to do my lengths, which is very important, as being admitted to a pool where you can swim is one of the most challenging things I have ever done on holiday. Staff by the pool, as you would expect, are very helpful and friendly, and everyone seemed to know my name. I ate at the Italian restaurant there and had a guide to Chilean wines from the sommelier. My buffalo mozzarella, carbonara and special Easter dessert were delicious. I got 2 visits and one call a day from turndown service to see if I needed more water, chocolates, coffee for the Nespresso machine. I cannot find any fault at all with the hotel. Price was an absolute bargain for a hotel of this quality.

Beautiful property, amazing views and big spacious garden area with pool and waterfall. The service is excellent, the food options are great from poolside, breakfast buffet, and restaurants. I really was impressed by the bakery that turns amazing patisserie on a daily basis (in house). The rooms are spacious and well appointed. I really enjoyed my visit.

Central. Within walking distance to amazing restaurants, the Hop-On-Hop-Off bus, & a very large mall with all the famous international brands. Our room was exceptional - huge with sweeping views over the city & the surrounding mountains. The bed & bedding was blissfully comfortable. The pool & surrounding area was lush with greenery, exceptional bar service.

Our stay at the Mandarin Oriental, Santiago was fabulous from start to finish. Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and very well appointed. The hotel amenities, pool, and restaurants were all fabulous as well. Our dinner at Senso on the night of our arrival was so delicious, we decided to return again once more before departing! Breakfast was also delicious and offered so many options to choose from. Would recommend without reservations!

Very comfortable hotel with lovely grounds and large pool. Specious rooms, excellent shower, quiet and very clean. Great food in the hotel restaurants. A very enjoyable 4-day stay. Note that the hotel is not centrally located, so it's a taxi ride into town, but it's quiet for that reason.

We had a great stay at this boutique Hilton hotel in Providencia. We arrived early from our flight and were so happy that they let us check in early because of our Hilton Honors status. They even let us have breakfast, which was so great since we were tired and hungry. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful and they have a bar, a small outdoor space, a coffee shop and restaurant. The breakfast was plentiful and had lots of variety, though I wished the coffee was just a little bit stronger. I loved that they had water bottle fillers in the hotel and on our floor so we could keep hydrated. The neighborhood was very comfortable and there were a lot of restaurants and shopping nearby. We were about a 10 to 15 min walk from the MUT and the Costanera Center as well as lots of other smaller places to eat. If we wanted to go farther afield it was easy to get an Uber, it was also pretty close to a couple of metro stations. The hotel was hosting teams from the track cycling championships and it was fun to share the breakfast with so many teams from around the world. We'd definitely recommend the Ola to anyone wanting to visit Santiago.

The receptionist (Sofia) was amazing, as was Amanda. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Overall, it was just an amazing stay. We will absolutely come back here on our next trip to Santiago. Everyone at the hotel was super helpful and provided great information about the surrounding area which is very walkable.

Originally, we were going to stay in Lastarria area but cancelled it and decided to stay at Ola Santiago in Providencia and glad we did. Hotel is not luxurious but simple and clean. The best part is location. 6 min to very popular metro station Tobalaba and 8 min to large mall Costanera center and supermarket. Breakfast is simple and lots of carbohydrates. It can get very chaotic. On weekend they run out of food at 9am maybe because of convention next room. If you didn't add it to your stay I don't think you're missing out. Staff did excellent job even it was a mess. Early check in was $40. There is coffee machine in the room. First 2 pods are free after that you have to purchase it at bar for $1.20. There is free coffee tea and water all day at front desk and that was nice. There are body soap shampoo conditioner and lotion in the room. (you want to bring your own) Also, refrigerator and steamer for your clothes. There are plenty of room for your luggage and clothes. If you are visiting tourist attractions, you have to take metro. If you include walking time it will take 30 minutes or more, but Metro is very easy to use just avoid rush hour around 18:30. Taxi back to Airport is $35 and they'll arrange it for you. Staff including breakfast front desk and cleaning were all nice. Definitely we will stay here again.

Spent 4 nights at this hotel which was comfortable,clean and provided all the amenities you would expect. Good location in the city. Large bathroom, fluffy towels,limited hanging space for clothes. Large comfortable bed. Efficient wifi. Good selection at breakfast where Amanda made us feel welcome every morning. Staff here are very friendly and go out of their way to help you and make you feel welcome. Josephine at the front desk made us feel special. We had one of their suites, which was nice and reasonably large and well appointed with couches, eating table, desk and large bed. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of space. Had a bathtub shower combination. The room has windows on two of the sides so you get a good view from there…but the hot sun would come in and heat the place faster than the AC could cool it. So we had to make sure the drapes were drawn most of the time. Wi-Fi worked well (they had a repeater in the room. smart) Plenty of plug outlets where you need them given all the gadgets we have these days. Service was top notch. Front desk people were very helpful with our questions. Housekeeping and breakfast staff were professional, and as the suite is on the 5th floor near the spa and pool, the spa person helped open doors for me when she saw my hands were full. The location is pretty good as you are in a residential area, but a 5 min walk to the big Costanera Center mall, where there are tons of shops and restaurants, including a Jumbo super market. Many other restaurants in that area and 5-10 min from there. The website photos are a fair indication of the rooms and hotel (buffet picture seemed a bit better than it was). The price is the key for what you are getting in comparison to staying at one of the bigger fancy hotels. For us, the smaller boutique hotel and price fits our style.

Suite was extremely spacious. Cocktails from the bar were very good. Easy walk to costanera center and metros. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast buffet. Allowed us to checkin extremely early which was a huge bonus.

Bathroom had a bath & shower with hair products. We didn’t use the mini bar. Had a meal in the bar area on our first night. Food was good & staff very friendly. A Wonderful Stay at Hotel Solace – With Just a Few Suggestions… We had a truly lovely stay at Hotel Solace in Santiago. The hotel is beautifully decorated, ideally located - close to everything we needed, yet still felt peaceful and tucked away - and the staff was exceptional. Every team member we interacted with was kind, attentive, and went above to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was fantastic. It featured a lovely view, a very comfortable bed, and high-quality linens that made it feel like a true retreat. The only minor issues we noted were in the bathroom: the shower drain cover was loose, and the toilet seat was a bit worn. These are small things that, if addressed, would make the experience even better. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the morning of our arrival. The food was good, especially the eggs made to order, which came out hot and fresh. However, some of the pre-prepared items like sausages and scrambled eggs on the buffet could have been kept warmer. It’s a minor improvement I’d recommend to enhance the meal experience. A standout perk was the Lavazza coffee - available 24/7 in the lobby, and also in your room with a convenient Lavazza K-Cup machine. It was such a treat and truly appreciated by coffee lovers like us! Despite the few suggestions, none of them took away from our overall experience. We would absolutely return to Hotel Solace on our next trip to Santiago and happily recommend it to others looking for a stylish, comfortable.

This was a great hotel to stay at located on a quiet street with beautiful views of el cerro San Cristobal and the virgin at its peak, plus a nice view of the Sky Costanera (that is just a short walk away). The staff was courteous, professional and so very helpful. Felipe tried to help me with my SIM when I was having issues and was absolutely brilliant, well-intentioned and attentive. The team seems very happy to be working there and are always laughing, humming or singing along to the music. The food was really good, as well. A good breakfast - although, I would have liked more Chilean bread (una hallullita les mataria?!). And drinks on the rooftop bar on the roof were absolutely beautiful to watch the sunset. The metro station is a block away and super convenient to get to the main tourist attractions, and Bellavista is a little far but still within walking distance from the hotel. Very, very conveniently located. It was also very clean. My room was impeccable. The sheets were crisp, clean and of high quality. Great hotel. Great value for money. Quality stay. Comfortable and convenient.

We couldn’t have picked a better hotel than the Solace!!! Felipe and Kevin were at the front desk when we checked in.. Both of them were so helpful, and were amazingly accommodating! It was early morning.. They gave us our room and complimentary breakfast, which was totally unexpected! We hadn’t slept for well over 24 hours and just to get in a room to plug in our cell phones was greatly appreciated! After an entire day of touring Santiago with the guide, we came back to the room. It was a quiet and peaceful place to call home. We went to the rooftop bar for drinks and snacks, which was lovely. The servers there were also wonderful, especially Anderson. Nobody was swimming, but the pool looked really inviting. Breakfast had a lot of variety and there was availability of all the types of coffees and cappuccinos 24/7! There was ample water in the fridge in our room +2 cans of complementary sodas plus Lavazzo coffee plus the coffee machine in our room. We did not use it because there was ample coffee downstairs. Our room was spacious., quiet and the view was beautiful. I was sorry we couldn’t stay longer. However, we will return.

We spent 2 nights pre-cruise here at Solace Hotel. We arrived very early morning after an overnight plane trip and was given the option to pay a discounted rate to have access to our room and the breakfast buffet. This really helped us recharge after a meal and a short nap to enable us to take advantage of the first day in the great city. The room is well equipped with bottled water replenished daily in the refridgerator and the bed was very comfortable. The elevator worked well, getting us quickly to our 8th floor room. The only problem with the room was the shower floor was quite slippery so we ended up putting a towel inside the shower pan to prevent any slipping injuries. We loved this very modern hotel, especially the roof-top bar. It is on a quiet street that was walkable to the Cerro San Cristobal. All the front desk personnel were wonderful with great suggestions. The breakfast buffet was very good and tables were fairly plentiful and cleaned quickly. The even offered to make me one of the best Eggs Benedicts I have ever had! If we ever have to chance to be in Santiago again, we will definitely stay at Solace Hotel!

We had a corner room on the 11th floor with beautiful panoramic views through floor to ceiling windows. The room was spacious and modern, coffee, water and soft drinks in the honor bar were included. Espresso machine and water dispenser in the lobby also gratis. Beautiful drinks and surprisingly good dinner on the top floor. Breakfast was also included and adequate. Safe neighborhood, close to the Metropolitan Park with gondola and funicular, and the lively Bellavista neighborhood for nightlife.

When I pre-pay our stayed it said with breakfast but when I receive the confirmation the breakfast was not there, I called Expedia and they say it wasn't there so I have to cancel and rent again, but that would be much more expensive. I took a screen shot that proved I had breakfast and tried to speak with Expedia buy there said NO. when we arrive the hotel first they told us we didn't had breakfast and they double check it and they said we did have breakfast, but next morning starting to eat they came and told us we didn't have breakfast ... so I went to the front desk to check and there was the lady from the check in and I told them she said we did have breakfast included. So they let us have it that day but not the rest of the stay.ç So I don't know if it was Expedia's or the hotel's fault but I never got what I booked for.

The hotel is located in a safe and nice district of Providencia, very close to metro station, shopping mall and restaurants. Our room was spacious and comfortable, very clean and well maintained. Staff was always smiling and helpful.

The location close to the airport and the free shuttle service they offer made it a great stop between flights. The fact that the swimming pool and jacuzzi were open until 10pm was appreciated. The breakfast was very good.

Wyndham Santiago Airport has a chic, modern vibe that makes it feel more upscale than your typical airport hotel. The breakfast was excellent, with more than enough options to suit every taste. This time, we had a spacious room with a large sofa—very comfortable and perfect for relaxing before or after a flight. The airport transfer service to and from the hotel was smooth and super convenient, especially for early or late arrivals.

Our room was spacious and comfortable; there were so many thoughtful touches like a Nespresso machine. Our concierge, Karina, recommended good restaurants, arranged a delightful tour for us, and went the extra mile to make our stay very enjoyable. We had fun spending a day with the hotel driver, Jose, who was an excellent and safe driver. He took us to visit Valparaiso and Vina del Mar, along with a delightful guide named Maria. In the breakfast room, Yen recommended a delicious breakfast dish and took great care of us during our stay. We are looking forward to our next visit and would highly recommend this wonderful hotel!

Hyatt Centric Las Condes is in a fantastic downtown location—perfect for exploring Santiago on foot. We easily walked to restaurants, shops, and bus stops, making it a convenient base for our stay. We enjoyed breakfast in the hotel restaurant each morning, and one evening we stayed in for an amazing dinner—highly recommend! Of course, we couldn’t leave without trying their pisco sour, which was excellent. The combination of great food, walkable location, and warm hospitality made our time here truly memorable. We would gladly stay again on our next visit to Santiago.

This has been one of the most pleasant stays of my life. From the first day we felt at home. Everyone was very friendly and attentive, willing to help us with anything we needed. The reception staff was always very professional and always willing to assist us. When we asked for extra towels or other items, they always sent someone to bring them within 5 minutes. Cristian (the guest relations manager) was always there with a big smile, asking if we needed anything or suggesting places to visit, tours, etc. The housekeeping staff provided excellent service every day and were always eager to ask if we needed anything extra. The hotel restaurant, Amandine, is excellent. We loved their fish and chips, and their cream brûlée is the best we've had in a long time. They also have a wine tasting five days a week, hosted by Antonia, one of the kindest people we've met in this city. He is very professional and provided us with very useful information about the wines' flavors, their origins, and much more. I also want to highlight that all the restaurant's servers are very friendly and attentive, but Jorge exceeded all expectations with his attention and professionalism. I can keep going on but is not more space, we are very grateful to had the opportunity to visit this hotel.

I booked this place for a 3 days in Santiago. The communication from staff post booking was great including on WhatsApp which answered many of my questions and queries promptly. I arranged airport pickup with hotel prior to arriving which was helpful. The staff member when i arrived spoke great English and was most helpful with tourist suggestions and maps. Some of the other staff were friendly but didn't speak English so well. I used google translator and tried some Spanish and we got by. One staff let me borrow their transport card for Metro system which was nice. The location in Providencia is very safe. It is easy to walk everywhere and restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, station, pubs are all very close. The facility has some seats and tables outside to sit and relax, the dining area is very spacious with many tables and even a couch and tv to sit and relax. Breakfast was good. The rooms are quite good except there is no lift only a stairs. Inside the room all facilities are provided, mini fridge, A/C, TV etc. No water is given. Overall a very good stay and happy to recommend this place.

Breakfast was buffet style. There was plenty of variety available including cereals, toast & spreads, juice, coffee/tea and European style (slices of cheese, salami, ham and seasoned slices of tomato). This morning, I was offered a serve of scrambled eggs as well. My double room was very generous in size. Well appointed with a desk, hanging space etc. The bathroom was generous in proportion as well. The staff were always welcoming & helpful. This accommodation had feeling of a home away from home. The accommodation is only about 5 mins walk from the Manuel Montt subway station and numerous buses travel along the nearby main road as well. Cafes, restaurants, an excellent bakery, small supermarket can all be easily found on Providencia street, where the subway is also situated. There is a communal lounge area beside the Dining area. There was a delightful garden space in front of the boutique Hotel.

Central and easy to get in and out.Secure, coosy old building, lovely simple breakfast, staff polite, clean and safe quiet surroundings. Good English spoken by staff. Nice small restaurants close to hotel. Very close to metro. We took luggage in metro and it was confortable and cheap. Would visit again and recommend.

The staff at reception were very helpful and kind although those in the dining room were not particularly friendly. There was a large supermarket just a few minutes’ walk away, which was useful.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Panamericano. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with massive beds that made it hard to get up in the morning. The breakfast buffet was generous, varied, and reliably delicious. The real standout, though, was the staff. Everyone we dealt with was kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Back-of-house staff in particular went out of their way to assist us, and the team was happy to accommodate our very late departure time without fuss. The location was excellent, close to major sights, great restaurants, and the metro. We’d definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very well located and in an area that is right in the midst of good shopping and places to eat. Large variety of coffee shops also located nearby. The was most helpful and they were able to help us with any questions that we had. Room was large and very clean. Breakfast is a lovely buffet with something for everyone. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant one evening and the food was superb and extremely well priced! We were very pleased with everything during our stay. The hotel also got our taxi to the airport when we were leaving and all went well!

Perfect for a chilled afternoon and if you want to relax with the book or cool yourself down. I had a fantastic stay.

We stayed five nights at the Hotel Ismael and could not have been more pleased with our choice. The hotel is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood opposite Parque Forestal. We had a seven floor room with a balcony, overlooking the park. The room and bathroom were perhaps slightly on the smaller size, but were perfectly adequate. and were clean, well equipped, with a comfortable bed. We enjoyed the breakfast, especially the range of fresh fruit and juices provided. The hotel is very well located, in close walking distance to the major attractions and the quirky Lastarria area with it's cafes and restaurants just around the corner. Staff were professional, friendly and helpful. We have no hesitation in recommending the hotel and would choose to stay here again.

Located in a safe and pleasant part of Santiago this Novotel has fairly spacious rooms with good beds with firm mattresses. Friendly and efficient front desk staff (Steven). Nice gestures towards Accor gold members: wine and cheese platter upon arrival, invitation to a wine + snack a few days later. On the downside, it is a 15-20 min walk to a street with a selection of fine restaurants (as the hotel’s own Nuna restaurant is unexciting). Moreover most chairs in the restaurant, where breakfast is also served, are badly stained! Breakfast as such is not quite to the level you might expect in a Novotel: missing items can be plain yogurt on one day, crema de membrillo on the next. Regarding the room, the air-con is annoyingly loud, even if placed at the lowest fan speed.

The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast buffet is huge, with lots of variety, and the fruit was fresh and delicious. The receptionist who welcomed us as early arrivals was very helpful in locating a more quiet location to rest until our room was ready. Thank you.

It was fine. A short walk to a big park with a rose garden and lots of activities, great for people watching. The hotel seemed clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet was more than satisfactory. The outdoor pool was small and cold, but it was springtime, not summer. Las Condes neighborhood felt upscale and safe, a bit business like, but we enjoyed walking toward Providencia where we found more restaurants, and neighborhoods to explore along the way.

A beautiful, modern hotel with very friendly staff. The food at the hotel restaurant is excellent. The location feels safe and everything is close by :historic sites, shops, and restaurants.

We had a pleasant week-long stay at this hotel. Our perspective: - great location, including for tourists visiting. It is close to a large mall and easy public transport into the hotel-free city center. There are quite a few good restaurants around as well. - good food. The restaurant has a good lunch special with a rotating menu during the week. Breakfast is mostly nice with a fresh egg station but it is heart-breaking to have rock-hard pan con queso every morning. Luiz was very pleasant for our lunch visits. - decent rooms. They are spacious and the beds are comfortable but some do show their age - great staff. The front desk is very helpful and speaks good English, housekeeping did a good job daily, and the restaurant staff was welcoming We have stayed here before and will return again, so we recommend it overall.

We had been traveling through the Patagonia regions in Argentina and Chile. Staying at Four Points got us closer to home, where I love the sheets they use. Our room was clean and comfortable. This hotel was a very nice surprise! The room was beautiful and clean, modern. Very quiet. The breakfast buffet which was included had a nice variety of food, and it was delicious. We ate dinner one night at the hotel, and the service and food were very good. The front desk staff were very helpful with information about the area, calling taxis for us. Very pleasant staff.

I booked this hotel so I had easy access to Terminal Sur to catch a bus in the morning. The hotel certainly fulfilled this objective. The hotel itself was clean and modern, and had one of the most comfortable beds I slept in. The wifi also worked well and I never had a problem. Breakfast was good and had a wide variety of options to choose from, ranging from eggs, to pastries, to fruits. I was only at the hotel for the evening and the morning, so I couldn't comment about the area of the hotel during the day, but during the night, the area is a bit sketchy. It is close to the Universidad de Chile metro station, so the hotel offers good transportation to elsewhere in Santiago if that's part of your plans. Lastly, restaurants and other stores close by 10, which makes finding food a bit challenging if you're checking in at or after that time. Otherwise, it was a solid hotel for the location, and the good breakfast and wifi really makes this property a good option.

This hotel is a great location. I took the bus from the airport to Estación central and walked to the hotel. The hotel is also walkable to terminal San Borja, which is the bus terminal to Valparaiso. I visited from the USA, and the front desk attendant spoke very good English which was a great surprise. The breakfast was incredible with tons of options. The room was small, but everything was clean and worked great. I arrived early and left my bags with the front desk and he kept them safe. The building is safe and secure. The price was excellent. I would recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Good breakfast with assorted fruit, cheese, hams, sausage, sauteed vegetables and scrambble egg , juices, tea and coffee..homemade bakery. Area may not be safe and sketchy at night. Don't show your phone or jewellery. Very close to mallplaza and central station and national museum in walkable distance. Would suggest to have a non - slip mat in the bath tub as I was almost fell down with slippery shampoo, body wash or soap Thanks to the support bar.

Breakfast is fresh and there was a good variety of options. Fresh eggs are cooled to order. Wine Hour turned out to be a welcome way to come down off a busy day. The restaurant is good and I ate several meals there. Fresh salmon cooked perfectly is hard for me to turn down. Overall, one of the best boutique hotel stays I have had in a long while.

I thought that the staff were exceptional, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast and meals were good, you could get coffee downstairs if you wanted it. I liked the location in an older and quiet neighbourhood. It's a nice and not too long a walk to Constitution Square and the Plaza de Armas and its not too far from Republica metro or a major bus terminal. The hotel is modern and fresh.

The minute I checked in, the front desk staff was welcoming, and warm. He showed me the room and made sure I'm comfortable with the room switches, bathroom water temperature control etc. The breakfast was great. I had a tour the following morning and early pickup but they made the time to serve breakfast before pickup time. who would do that. They even had my laundry done which I'm pretty sure they just made it happen. there was a young lady on my final breakfast who again made sure my breakfast was a nice experience. thanks young lady! I shall be back! :)

Lovely little boutique hotel. The location feels odd at first but after walking around realising that it’s bang in the middle of a wonderful bohemian, arty and lovely area of Santiago. Lots of nice little restaurants and bars and ideally located for the airport bus and metro. Room was cosy (a bit on the small side - but had everything needed and a great bathroom), bed very comfortable and facilities great (not to mention the free ‘wine hour’ and excellent breakfast!

We really enjoyed our stay at Altiplantico. The location is very central and walkable to many of the sites and restaurants. Plaza de Armas is only a 10 minute walk. The restaurants in LaStarria are about 5 minutes or so. Cerra San Cristobal is only about 20 minutes. We had a Superior Double room. The bed was comfortable. The TV had tons of stations. The shower had lots of hot water and plenty of pressure. It is a walk in shower and not a tub. I prefer the walk in shower. The breakfast is really good with lot's to choose from. It's pretty standard far and tasty. I love the coffee/espresso machine in the lobby. I could get a good cup of Cappuccino any time of day. I think that the best asset for this hotel is the staff. Gabriel, Claudia, and Jonnette were the front desk people that we spoke to the most. They were so helpful with recommendations, tour reservations, directions, and a funny joke. They always greeted us with a "hello" and a smile. All are bi-lingual and maybe even tri-lingual. The cleaning staff is very good too. I don't know their names. The ladies in the morning kept the breakfast area stocked with food. Our rooms were spotless when we came back in the afternoon. This is a wonderful small hotel in a nice central location.

This hotel has a great central location. Just a short distance to the central plaza and 5 mins to lots of bars and restaurants. Our room had a great view over a park and the Museo de Bellas Artes. Both the road and the hotel were very quiet. The room was very spacious and comfortable. There was a good attached bathroom with a powerful shower. The room had a safe. The breakfast was ok. The staff were very welcoming helpful and friendly.

We stayed her for two nights . The hotel offered a taxi service which we accepted and we were met ion time after our arrival . Although we got to the hotel around 9am , we were offered a room immediately and even told we could have a complimentary breakfast . Extremely kind and thoughtful and much appreciated . Everyone at the front desk was courteous, kind and helpful . The kitchen staff at breakfast time too kept dishes full and cleaned up the tables promptly . The location is very central and an easy walk to restaurants and the attractions in the main part of Santiago . Our room was comfortable but we did not like the design of the bathroom . The sink is in the bedroom and then there are two doors , one for the toilet and the other for the shower. It is not a good arrangement for privacy . But the rooms are clean with a mini bar , safe and plenty of storage space . The bed was very comfortable . We had an unfortunate experience when we did the walking tour . We had stopped for a break at an ice cream shop which was crowded . When I reached to take the ice cream , someone stole my phone from my jacket pocket . Quick as a flash . I should have put it in an inside pocket or deep into my purse. Anyway nothing could be done and we finished the tour and went back to the hotel. Claudia was very sympathetic and as we wanted to file a police report she wrote down the incident in Spanish and allowed use to f the phone to contact our server . This is my second stay (last time was two or three years ago). The hotel was already good but I think the service has improved. Staff were previously helpful and engaging - they just had a good attitude, and I think this has improved further. Breakfast has also improved a lot; there was a range of fresh fruit, cheeses, cold meats, omelette, fresh juices, teas, coffees etc... but everything seemed pretty high quality. In many parts of Latin America it is hard to get a good breakfast even at a reasonably expensive hotel. We stayed on a top floor room; the views over the city are not amazing but pleasant, the balcony area is a lovely touch. There was a useful office / dressing area, separate from the main sleeping area. The local area has a lot of great restaurant and bar choices, all very walkable.

Altiplanico in Bellas Artes is a beautiful space with very friendly and helpful staff. My room was very comfortable and the cleaning team was flexible and on top of things. Their keycard system went down for a couple of days and so the reception desk workers dutifully escorted me to my room to personally let me in, I really appreciated their attention. Breakfast was good and the lobby was very nice to hang out in; the automated coffee/espresso maker is free all day for guests and is perfect for a spot of coffee before hitting town. One more thing, the area is incredible. Very artsy and hip, lots of shops and the great Lastarria restaurant row a 5 min walk from the hotel. The Metro is right around the corner.

We were very impressed by all aspects of our stay. the reception was very efficient with lear information about the hotel and the area, and a free welcome drink. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The restaurant had a good selection for dinner, and a fabulous spread for the beakfast buffet. The area is full of more expensive, big name hotels, but we found this one offered better service at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

I spent 2 very comfortable nights at this hotel. I picked it for the convenient location, just a few minutes walk from 2 metro stops and surrounded by stores, restaurants, ATMs, etc. and reasonable price. The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful, from storing my luggage after I arrived on a morning flight to directing me to a nearby store to get the correct power adapter (and offering to lend one if needed). The room and bathroom were on the smaller side but very clean and had everything I needed. Comfortable bed, great water pressure, and I felt safe walking around the area.

Location was good, near the metro and bus stops. Plenty of restaurants nearby, easy to order a Uber Taxi. The area is pleasant and feels safe, there’s a decent supermarket nearby where you can buy drinks etc to put in the fridge in your room. The staff are friendly and helpful with maps and recommendations where to go. The excursion companies all pick up at the hotel. The room was spacious and clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay and the shower/bathroom were great!

Located in a really good area of Santiago, close walking distance to many restaurants and stores you’ll need (convenience stores, pharmacies, etc). Always felt safe when I went out walking. The staff were excellent, always friendly and welcoming no matter who was on reception. I really liked the buffet breakfast, plenty of options and the food was really fresh. I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel for my 4 night stay.

Luciano K is a lovely hotel very centrally located in the Lastarria district of Santiago. The property is walking distance to the trendy restaurant and shopping areas of Bellavista, Providencia and a short taxi or subway ride to some of the best restaurants of the city in Vitacura and Las Condes. The hotel offers a complementary breakfast every morning with a great selection of meats, cheeses, pastries as well as eggs prepared as you like them. The Luciano has a gorgeous open air rooftop bar/restaurant perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views or watching the sunset. The rooms are clean, quiet and well appointed with amenities including a safe for your valuables. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful with everyone speaking a good level of English. I spent 2 weeks at the Luciano and I highly recommend you give them a try, I promise you won’t be disappointed. ❤️

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Luciano K! From the moment we booked, the team was incredibly responsive — they reached out via WhatsApp right away to confirm details and stayed in touch throughout our stay. They were super helpful in arranging a car service and a late check-out, and overall communication was excellent. The upstairs lounge was a nice surprise — very comfortable with a relaxed vibe, and the bar had some good, reasonably priced tapas options. The location is fantastic — easy walking distance to lots of great restaurants, parks, and sights near Lastarria and Bellavista. Perfect base for exploring Santiago. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful, from check-in to breakfast. Speaking of which, the breakfast buffet was simple but fresh and satisfying — just what we needed to start the day. One small note: since it’s an older historic building, there’s not much soundproofing between rooms. That said, it was still surprisingly quiet overall for a city hotel, and we slept very well. We’d happily stay here again — a charming, well-located hotel with great service and genuine hospitality!

The staff were super friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, the bar and restaurant were fabulous, the views from the rooftop bar were fabulous and it was so nice to have that outdoor space to relax in. The location was perfect as it's very central and we have friends close. The style and history of the building was so cool, the rooms were clean, stylish and had everything we needed, including very comfortable beds and good showers, our and my mum's rooms being next to each other and with no other rooms close made her feel very safe. Having a lift was essential as we had far too much luggage and my mum couldn't do all the stairs.

reception was really helpful and knowledgeable, including providing a city map and information on public transport. We were given metro cards free of charge which we only needed to top up with the travel credit we required. The hotel itself is conveniently located to the metro network and even the airport is easily reachable by public transport (combination of metro + airport bus). - the hotel is in Lastarria neighbourhood where there are good dining options and evening animation. Also the historic centre and other places are within easy reach walking / by taxi or public transport - there is a 24/7 kiosk shop nearby and I liked the fresh fruit juices you could buy around the corner - the hotel had a very personal touch as it was a boutique hotel with only a few rooms - the nostalgic central elevator and the whole building was pure Art Nouveau so it felt like living in a museum making my stay very special. In fact the hotel building is a national monument designed by the famous 20th century Chilean Polish architect Luciano Kulczewski. For those interested, you can find a few more of his signature buildings nearby. - I loved the big bathroom and the comfy beds in the stylish hotel room - the breakfast choice was wide and plentiful so everybody should find something to his/her taste - the rooftop terrace which during the day served as bar/restaurant was amazing and boasted a good panorama view. Also there was a small swimming pool on it.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this hotel, and we’ve always had a pleasant experience. Our room was clean, and the bed is one of the most comfortable we’ve slept in during our trip through Chile. The breakfast is varied, and they make eggs to your liking. After breakfast, the restaurant becomes a comfortable place to work. You can also enjoy a coffee or a beer there before the terrace restaurant opens at 4 p.m. The front desk staff is amazing. They are always willing to answer questions or suggest places to visit. If you stay at this hotel, I recommend arranging your transfer from the airport with the front desk. Taking a cab from the airport can lead to being overcharged.

Our experience at this hotel was amazing! We were very pleased that Leandra was able to honor an early check-in. After such a long flight, it was nice to finally get some rest. The breakfast buffet at this hotel has a lot of options and the service is really good. We also liked that there were two other restaurants available for lunch or dinner. Sky Costanera and the Cenco Mall are both within walking distance. Many restaurants and bar options are nearby. This is a higher end area of the city and we felt safe. We would stay here again!

This is a decent hotel and a nice area of the business district Vitacura. The room was nice and clean in the bed was comfortable. But the most memorable part was the affiliated restaurant downstairs, the QB. The price is a reasonable and the menu selections are outstanding. I had two different entrées there and they were both fantastic, especially considering the price I made. They have bar drink specials five or six nights a week, I think the best ones are on Friday and Saturday night as it’s two for one for many selections. The service in the restaurant was also very good. There’s an outdoor table-seating area where you can smoke cigarettes or cigars if that’s your thing. The hotel also has very good security, and a nice shuttle service driver with a like new van. I paid as much for him to take me to the hotel as I paid for the much less enjoyable Uber vehicle to bring me to the hotel when I arrived in Santiago. But I was solo, so I do not know if they charge by the ride or if they charge per person.

We stayed at this hotel three times in two weeks, when we arrived in Santiago, in between Atacma desert and Torres del Paine, and just before flying out. This is a superb hotel, well maintained, centrally located with walking distance of a large shopping center and Sky Costanera. The rooms were spacious, the service was impeccable, breakfast was very good, and underground parking was free. Great staff across the board, and very helpful - even on Christmas Eve and Christmas day! The front desk staff were amazing and need to be commended. A special thanks to Ms. Yessenia at the front desk - she was exceptionally helpful, and really helped make the stay truly enjoyable. As well as all other staff. Highly recommended.

Stylish, clean, and airy, the property is excellent in every way. The staff were attentive, especially the fellows who helped us with our luggage and the lad named Rodrigo at the front desk. The maid service was exceptional—the room was spotless. Our roomed faced busy Vitacura Ave. but we couldn’t hear a thing. The location is quite good, with access to shopping and many restaurants on Isadora Goyenechea. I can’t vouch for the breakfast because US$20 per person per day didn’t seem worthwhile, especially with multiple coffee shops in the immediate vicinity. I’ll certainly return to this property.

Also the bath was slippery. During our second and third visits we were on the 3rd floor and had two bedside tables and the shower was not so bad. There is a safe and hairdryer in the room. The hotel has a pool which is freezing cold and does provide pool towels on request at reception. There is a bar and a lovely area around the pool to have a drink. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and have a very good standard of English. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choices although on some occasions it took a while for items to be replaced. The hotel is in a good location and for the most part is quiet although on our last night local residents had a party which went on to 4am in the morning.

It is not luxurious but it is comfortable. The beds and bathroom are nice, you have individual control of your room temperature, and the included buffet breakfast will fill you up nicely. And the staff members are extremely nice and helpful. You will have to climb one or two flights of stairs to get to your room. So the Vegas is affordable, comfortable but not luxurious, and a friendly and safe place to stay.

We stayed in the Hotel Vegas for two nights in August 2013 on our way back from Easter Island to the UK. The hotel is a converted older house very near to the church of San Fransisco. It's situated within walking distance of central Santiago and is very convenient for the tourist sites. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly although their English is limited. They can arrange fixed price taxis to the major tourist spots and stored our luggage for us. The room we had it was clean and comfortable however there was no window looking out externally the window looked out onto an inner landing area. There was decent free wi-fi provided. There is a continental buffet type breakfast which was perfect to set us up for the day. All in all we were very pleased to have found this hotel, particular given the price of the rooms which was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

This hotel was wonderful. Friendly staff, great location, and great rooms. It was Valentine’s Day! The hotel decorated their restaurant and bar “Ofelia” accordingly. Of corse I had no reservations but they were very accommodating and allowed us to join their wonderful evening. The ambiance was romantic, the music was provided by a live singer, The staff were very precise and knowledgeable. It was beautiful. The next day the hotel and bar turn into a lively breakfast that included an omelette bar, yogurt bar, variety of fresh fruits and breads, many finger cakes and a wonderful display of natural honey. Fresh juices and mimosas were also available! My lovely girlfriend and I will be coming back regularly during my stays in Chile. It helped make our vacation start off perfectly.

Excellent experience at this hotel while traveling with a tour group (Road Scholar). The room and public spaces were very clean and welcoming. I appreciated the comfortable bedding and lovely amenities in the bathroom. The staff was highly professional and attentive, even saying our names at the welcome dinner for our group. The food, both breakfast and dinner, were excellent. The made-to-order omelettes were a special treat. I enjoyed my two-night stay here and would highly recommend this hotel to other travelers.

The breakfast buffet was phenomenal! The best breakfast buffet I've ever had in any hotel that I have ever stayed in. Attentive wait staff. Wide variety of choices. Staff at the front desk were knowledgeable, gracious, and most helpful. The room was spacious. We prefer rooms without carpet and that's what they had. We were on the 17th floor and we had a great view of the neighborhood in the city as well as the mountains in the distance.

Our last stop on our South American journey and the NH did not disappoint. Large, comfortable room, great bathroom/shower and a killer view of 'Sanhatten'. Hotel is right next to the Costenera tower and metro stop if you need it. Many options for shopping, dining are right there. There's also an Hop On/Off tour bus stop directly across the street. There restaurant and bar were nice and the service was very good. Great access to many of the sights and if you plan to go out of town it's a good base. We hope to come back one day.

OK this time around everything was great (thanks to Paul). Although I was not upgraded, I was finally put in a room where both the internet connectivity and the television was working properly. The only hiccup is on Sunday, breakfast was supposed to finish at 12:00 pm. When I arrived at 11:30, the little hot food that was left was cold and the staff had already put half of the breakfast food away. They should tell people that breakfast really ends some time before 11:30 instead of 12:00 PM.

Excellent stay! The breakfast was delicious, the staff was incredibly friendly and polite, and the bed was very cozy. The location is fantastic. The only downside was the lack of a towel warmer, which would be useful during colder months like August. Other than that, I have no complaints. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Second time stay, last time was in Feb. 2019. In safe and quiet Providecia area, this hotel is very reasonable low price for a suite room. The Express Lider supermarket is 10 min. walking distance. Two METRO stations (L1) are nearby. Front is friendly, and the bar at lobby is good.

The staff immediately came to take my bags from the taxi. The check in staff were approachable and very smart in their appearance. The lobby was very clean and presentable. Check in process was flawless. My room was nice, clean and felt like the cleaning staff took pride in their work. I had a lovely guy who made great cocktails at the bar who was very proud of his job role. The evening meal was not as expensive as I thought. It was full of flavour, presented beautifully and the staff were very attentive. Breakfast was plentiful with a range of fresh fruits, cheese and meats, freshly cooked omelette, pancakes and a range of hot and cold drinks.

Another return stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Santiago Airport. This is an excellent choice for its convenence to SCL airport. And, if you are up for using Santiago's excellent public transportation system, is also convenient for accessing the city's attractions. The staff is friendly and professional. Special thanks to Mathias and Angela and the front desk for thie hospitality. Solid amenties with a nice breakfast buffet, small but functional pool and fitness center. Stable and fast Wi-Fi and useful business center. Access to the airport is via a shuttle which runs every hour and does require reservations at the front desk and it can get crowded at peak travel times. To get from the airport, you need to go a designated spot in the parking structure but once you figure that out, it is convenient. While I was there, the hotel was experiencing some IT issues that make some of the check-in/check-out process slow and affected Honors benefits. But these kind of things do happen and the staff dealt with the challenges with professionalism. Definitely recommend the Hilton Garden Inn Santiago Airport for stays near the airport and even for access to the center of the city.

Great hotel and very close to the airport. Rooms were modern, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety and the staff were great, very helpful. The shuttle service to the airport was excellent, especially since it cost us $25USD in a taxi to the hotel when we arrived and the shuttle times didn’t line up for us.

I chose to stay at this hotel as I had an overnight stay before flying on from Santiago. I had tried to call prior to leaving home to enquire about the shuttle service, but phone didn't get answered, however, on arrival I was able to call the hotel and they quickly sent me the arrangements for the shuttle. The shuttle service turned out to be easy and the driver was very helpful. The room was comfortable and the dinner at the restaurant in the evening was great - I even got a Pisco Sour for my welcome drink which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast the next morning was also good and the transfer back to the terminal efficient. All up, a good hotel and I would recommend to anyone looking to stay close to the airport for a stopover.

Really amazing property. It's in a very safe area, it's super clean, and the food at the restaurant was decently priced/very flavourful. Everyone in our group of 4 were pleased with out stay. The only downside was the pool water being very murky for the first few days of our stay. After we informed the front desk that there was an issue with the water, the quickly fixed it and provided us with complimentary breakfast the next day. If it wasn't for the pool water, I'd give it a 10/10. Shout out to Elias and Katarina for being amazing staff!

Reception staff were very helpful, allowing us to leave bags until we could check in later. Location is good, whilst being away from the the city centre there are metro stations within walking distance and we used the local stop of the hop on - hop off bus to tour the city and learn a little of it's history. The top floor restaurant and terrace is fantastic with good food and drinks and wonderful views over the local area. Breakfast was not included but the fixed price allowed access to a wide variety of breakfast options. My wife was very happy with the pool and sunbeds.

Everything about this hotel is perfect. Located in a quiet residential area a few mins walk over the river to the busier part of Provincia, also a few minutes walk from the cable car station. Room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was good with a decent choice, on two occasions we had a breakfast box as had early starts, they will provide your choice. We used the spa area which you have to book, a relaxing way to spend an hour at the end of the day in a jacuzzi and steam room. Lovely rooftop area with a shallow pool but we didn’t use it to swim. We also used the free cycles to get us over to a nearby park, all on cycle lanes. Over and above all this and what really impressed us was the service. Nothing was too much, a HUGE thank you to Sarahy and Thomas, not to mention all the rest whose names I can’t recall. They helped us with just about everything, restaurant recommendations, trip bookings, taxi’s and much more. I honestly can’t recommend this any more highly. We’re back for another night during our trip and look forward to another stay.

The hotel offered breakfast each morning and dinner at night. We ate there on both nights of our stay. Simon in the restaurant was a delight and very efficient, friendly and approachable. The room needed a little attention with its cracked glass in the door but all in all a very good place to stay. The hotel is in a good area and we felt safe staying there. The shower had plenty of strong hot water and the bed was very comfy.

Hotel was great!!! In a quiet safe area within walking distance to cable car and hop-on/off bus. Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful with suggestions for dinner and arranging taxis and tours. Roof top pool was relaxing with covered area to sit and read. Room was fine with stall shower and king bed.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Santiago Airport Hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed for a short stay. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the bar area was a nice surprise — great atmosphere and service. The front desk agent who checked me in was especially kind and welcoming, which made a great first impression. Overall, it’s a convenient and comfortable place to stay, especially if you have an early or late flight.

All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The reception staff made us feel welcome, the bar staff chatted to us and the breakfast staff were helpful and polite. The room was perfect as was the location for a rest before flying next morning.

Location is amazing for flying out the next day - right between both terminals, so it only takes a couple of minutes to walk to domestic or international terminals. The rooms were comfortable and a good size. Despite the proximity to the airport, we had absolutely no issues with noise - rooms were soundproof. Restaurant downstairs is adequate (there are no other options around) and breakfast was as you would expect from a hotel buffet breakfast. Overall can't fault it at all for a short stay.

All is clean, everything works, good sleep. Very nice breakfast buffet, I ended up overeating both times :) very friendly and helpful team - special thanks!!

I had an excellent stay at Hotel Director in Santiago Vitacura during my recent business trip. The location was perfect—within walking distance to the offices I was visiting and surrounded by a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood, businesses and restaurants. The gym was well-equipped, and I appreciated having it available during my stay. The food at the hotel was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. My checking in was done by Isidora . She was warm, friendly, efficient and helpful. She tried to answer all my queries and what she was unsure of, she checked. She did her best to ensure that my stay was lovely. The facilities were good and the bed comfortable. Checking out I had Victor- another consummate professional. He did everything in his powers to address my concerns and queries and was pleasant, friendly efficient yet professional. At dinner across both days I had several servers all very very lovely- in particular two young guys over the two days, for whom I left a tip. Very clean environment and a lovely pool and pool side atmosphere.

Hotel Diego De Almagro ~ Providencia offers good services to their passengers at fair prices. Their rooms are comfortable and quiet as compared to other hotels closer to Providencia or Nueva Providencia , main arteries which represent the newer hupcup of Santiago's business, commercial and entertainment centers.Thus, its location is in the Commune of Providencia that happens to be a safe and well protected area of the city. Breakfast services are provided for an extra charge which is cheaper than what nearby cafes or restaurants charge. Breakfast food is great and plentiful, by the way. The hotel staff is very professional and English is spoken at the main counter. I enjoyed staying at this hotel. I enjoyed staying at this particular hotel because it was within ten (10) minutes from Providencia' s centrum by foot.

This accommodation met my needs perfectly - distance from the meeting venue, quiet spacious room, clean, nice view - St. Francis church and some mountains (not Cordileras des Andes) and despite the facing the main street (avenida de libertador..O'Higgins), it was fairly quiet. Staff was very helpful despite my language barrier of my non-existant Spanish and breakfast was quite good. It is very centrally located, 1 minute from the metro station and if staying only nearby, then many things can be reached by walking only. Wifi was stable.

So clean and comfortable. Staff were amazing, I was poorly whilst there and they were very understanding and helpful and went out of their way to make it easier. Breakfast was really great too.

From the moment of arrival the staff were exceptional. Very helpful and couldn’t do enough to help you. Facilities in the rooms were excellent. Very be clean and the king size bed so comfortable. Towels changed daily & great choice of breakfast items. Would highly recommend 😊

The hotel is in an excellent location in the Old Town area of Santiago, close to Lastarria and Bellavista which are both wonderful for many restaurants and bars. The swimming pool area of the hotel is small and quiet but perfect to get away from the city feeling for a moment. However, there was a national power outage in Chile on our first night and although this only lasted a few hours the hotel did not have any power for over 12 hours which wasn't ideal. The staff did deal with this the best they could but it still caused us inconvenience like being unable to have food in the restaurant etc.

It was a bonus that most could speak English. Another ‘extra’ we appreciated was the water bottle refill station in the lobby.

Room: amazing. Excellent size. Big, comfortable bed, fridge, safe and all the items you’d need. Location: amazing. Very central but not cliche or overpriced like the hotels in Lastarria. Staff: super helpful, friendly and personable. I was also able to leave my baggage there while traveling to and back Easter Island. 10 out of 10!

The staff is so professional and friendly. The rooms are exceptionally clean. Everyone was so attentive and it was a great experience. I highly recommend this hotel. The doorman makes sure only guest are allowed in and I felt comfortable, safe and relaxed at the hotel.

Hotel is close to shopping malls and plenty of restaurants to choose from with various cuisines. Hotel staff were excellent - very friendly especially at check-in, and breakfasts were great - we had a breakfast box on two days as we had an early pick-up, and they were more than adequate. They can also book day tours and make recommendations which we found very useful. The hotel restaurant was quite expensive for what we had, and we only ate there for one evening, but all restaurants in the malls were also fairly expensive, so be prepared to pay - Santiago is an expensive place.

Stayed one week, great service and the breakfast buffet is excellent. The buffet is the best in all Santiago in terms of variety and quality ! For the family there everything, a lot of proteins with a cook to serve you your choice of eggs and omelettes, lots of vegetarian options hot, great cold bar and fruit bar and sweets to satisfy any taste. The best thing for long stays is that its never the same in the hot options but they are always amazing, can’t get bored of the buffet breakfast ! Thumbs up to the team !

What a great location, it was easy to find great restaurants, shopping, and day tours. Our room was terrific, we got an upgrade to a corner room, what a view. The staff was very helpful, be sure an visit the concierge, he was great. Breakfast was a buffet with an omelette station. You are lone long block from a huge shopping mall, you could spend a day there and not visit half the complex. We are titanium members and we stayed in nearly one hundred hotels, this was in the top ten!

In town for a special convention, and the hotel couldn’t have been more accommodating. Customer service was excellent. The location is perfect, next to 2 malls, with several options for food, as well as a grocery store. Ate at the hotel’s restaurants more than once, because the food was good. Breakfast was excellent as well with several options to satisfy all. Rooms were a nice size and clean. Excellent stay at the Marriott.

The hotel is located in an upscale residential neighborhood directly across the street from a large modern indoor/outdoor shopping mall with numerous restaurants / movies and bowling ! This was extremely convenient - The area is safe and quiet - HOWEVER - please note that the road directly in front of the hotel is a very busy 4 lane freeway - you get to the mall on an overpass which is easy but the rooms that face that road are noisy - we had to switch from the 9th floor facing the road to a room that faced the back of the hotel which was still spectacular as it looked into the Andes - always request a room that faces the back side off the main road The buffet is excellent and the beds comfortable - the hotel staff was extremely attentive - the outdoor pool is very quiet and serene - Good value - amazing views of the Andes and only 15 minutes from downtown Santiago

The Metro is a bit of a walk but easy to find. Uber is simple, quick and not expensive so the location worked well for us. Also, if you choose, the hotel has cars and drivers to take you anyplace and pick you up whenever you call. The breakfast is excellent. They offer a large variety of fresh fruit, pastry, etc. and custom eggs, omelettes and crepes. They even have eggs Benedict!!!!!!

Visited on my birthday, staff went above and beyond to make it special. Very helpful arranging tourist activities, took care of me, I was able to see exactly what I'd hoped to. We stayed here for our final days of our tour with GAdventures, and it was miles better than the reviews suggest. We had slummed it a tiny bit over our 2 months in South America so maybe that's clouded my opinion a bit, but still...we found a tiny room with a toilet that I had to reverse into like a delivery van in a tight cul-de-sac, but the room itself it was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. All through South America we'd experienced various levels of quality during breakfast, so I was delighted to find a coffee machine that provided more than brown grit and they had some Euro-style pastries. They weren't the best in the world but they were a welcome surprise. The staff were all friendly, well-presented and spoke good English (I'm afraid our Spanish skills are typically British...) and the hotel looked quite nice generally. Unlike other places we'd stayed, the shower was reliably warm - it's amazing what simple things you crave after a few weeks. The hotel is also located in a safe area with various restaurants and bars and just a short walk to the nearest Metro station (Manuel Montt). We extended our stay by a couple of days to give us a chance to explore the city before moving on, and even though we booked it through the tour company the price (~£50 per night) wasn't unreasonable at all, especially given how expensive Santiago (and Chile generally) is compared to Bolivia. We also got slightly lucky and witnessed a couple of lovely sunsets from our window!

I needed a safe hotel near the metro. Quick access to all Santiago attractions. Comfortable bed, quiet environment. No safe in the room. But the elevators are only with a room card and there is security at the entrance. The area is safe. There are several restaurants and bars. You can't eat in the hotels after 10:00 PM.

I stayed at this hotel for five nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent location. Plenty of stores, restaurants and attractions nearby. The material condition of the building inside and outside was good and clean.

The location was great, very safe and had lots of places around for eating, shopping and quite close to almost everywhere, it was even possible to walk to the city center, and for the other places it was very easy to reach anywhere by metro since the metro station was very close 🙃 It was pretty clean and i had a nice view of Andes Mountains from my window. The staff was very helpful even though some can’t speak English that well, i can’t thank them enough for their hospitality 🙏🏻

Great value for money, a spacious suite with separate living area & even small kitchenette. Staff were lovely, even carrying my luggage down the road to the taxi (see below). Breakfast very good - a buffet with all the usuals plus lots of pastries, biscuits and cakes which were delicious.

The hotel is in a great location, convenient for everything. The price is reasonable, the service and breakfast are excellent. A special thanks to the daily supervisor, James. He is incredibly patient, kind, and helpful. I was scammed by a taxi driver in San Diego, and James personally took me to the police station to file a report. He was incredibly helpful. Everything was good. Its was easy to find the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Free car park was available as well. Its called "Estacionamientos Catedral 1268" on Google maps. To park there you need to get to the hotel reception first, otherwise, you likely have to pay. Good breakfast and served on time. We had no problems with safety day or night. The hotel felt safe enough.

We had dinner there our first night and it was very good and a decent price. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again on our next visit to Santiago.

I stayed at Acacias de Vitacura because it was a good hotel that wasn't far from the Cricket grounds where we participated for the South American Cricket championships. I would say the room was comfortable, it had a lovely balcony overlooking a beautiful garden. The view was also amazing! It was nice to unwind and rest here after a hard day of sports on a scorching cricket pitch. The place is very quiet. Almost wonder if there were any people who stayed at the hotel when I was there. It is really good for families, there is greenery everywhere. The front desk staff are very friendly. The only problem I had was since I had to leave early for the matches, even though they said breakfast was served at 7am, no hot food (eggs, sausages, etc) was brought to the table until after 8am. Even the waitress who brought the food was not very friendly. Besides that, everything else was good. The laundry service was efficient and they did a good job. A few bus stops away from this hotel is a great Indian restaurant and other good restaurants so ideal location. Overall a good experience!

We recently stayed here twice (going to and coming back from Patagonia). Very nice friendly hotel, with lots of greenery around - an exception in Santiago. Situated at the end of a dead end street, so not much noisy traffic around. Nice swimming pool. Very friendly and helpful staff and good breakfast, served in the lobby/dining area. Dinner is available, but was not used by us. Clean, (not luxery) well appointed rooms, with minibar and A/C. The hotel has an elevator, so no dragging of suitcases up and down the stairs, which sometimes is the case in smaller hotels.

A little oasis, helpful owner and staff, beautiful swimming pool, even helped me clean my hire car. The security lady was especially helpful and shared her love of the Beatles. Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and wandering in their garden with lots of surprises including a train! We had a lovely balcony

The restaurant is good and there is a nice swimming pool with water jets, jacuzzi etc. The pool is more of a relaxation pool as it isn't really large enough for swimming lengths if others are using it. The rooms are spacious, but could do with refurbishing as mine was a bit scruffy since my last stay (9 years ago). The shower attachment over the bath was a bit cheap / poor quality. My kingsize bed was super comfy with nice bed linen.

This is a typical Novotel. Modern, efficient and clean with a no-nonsense approach to lodging. It is, as they all are, not luxurious but comfortable and with a helpful and courteous staff. The hotel is ideal for a business traveler or vacationer who is not planning on spending a lot of time in a hotel. The provided breakfast was very ample and with a good variety although the hot dishes were not particularly hot. The internet connection was good and comes with the room. It would be hard to find a better deal for the money.

Found the room to be an odd configuration with the bathroom jammed beside the bed and the toilet near the front door. The location of the hotel is fantastic. Turn the corner and you are walking cobbled streets with a few great restaurants and bars. Room was dated but comfortable and a really good size. The staff were friendly and helpful , really nice people. Breakfast was also good.we went to the karaoke bar around the corner and had so much fun! They played Kylie Minogue for us and we danced into the wee small hours. Such lovely locals !

We had the room with terrace and it made all the difference on the beautiful sunny days we had while there. Lively location during the day but not sure how safe it is at night. We arrived late (midnight) so neighborhood was dead. We spent the evenings with family but saw the restaurant and bars open and people enjoying themselves when we returned to the hotel around 10 pm.

We had a room with balcony facing the street. We loved hearing the music of street performers below us. The hotel is perfectly situated next to an art school and great restaurants. Location is walking distance to must visit parks, the funicular, museo belles artes. Staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant below provides a delicious breakfast and excellent coffee. You really feel like you are in a funky neighbourhood and not in a tourist trap

Fantastic location! Close to a metro station and close to plenty of good restaurants and bars—such a fun and central area! I also discovered that the best Sushi restaurant in Santiago is in the hotel. Do not miss it- beautiful and delicious. A couple of tricks. they charge $10 per day for internet, but if you become a member of their club, for free, it is free. good deal. the gym is perfectly adequate as well. My one complaint is that in the restaurant they only serve a $30 breakfast buffet. they should offer a regular breakfast menu as well to accommodate lighter eaters. Bu all in all, first rate.

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful at all times. My room was larger than expected with a double aspect as it was in the corner. It was also very quiet. The hotel rooms are in 3 towers and I think the rooms might be smaller in the older tower, but I did not have this problem. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The hotel is in the business area but within 15-20 minutes walking distance of the downtown shops - it is quicker to walk because of the eternal traffic. Just round the corner from the hotel is a good choice of restaurants.

The pool on the 19th floor was excellent and enjoyed great views. The concierge was very professional and recommended some great restaurants and winery visits. Overall staff was very professional and very friendly

After a horrible initial apartment experience, we decided to immediately check out and booked Intercontinental on the spot. And what a difference that made! Nice spacious rooms, nice breakfast, and usually quiet pool upstairs. One downfall: the wireless only works in a newer tower which we moved to after a nice stay in the older one. The concierge offered us a free breakfast for our efforts. I suggest the stroll in the El Golf as well. Great restaurants in the vicinity.

Our room had AC, so we could heat up our room. Shower was hot and the room was big enough. Staff was friendly and helpful, they even allowed us to check in before provided time. Location was good, near the park and restaurants, but it didn't seem safe.

A great stay with a room that was spacious, clean, and you can get room service to your room! Breakfast could be served from 06:30-09:00 to help tourists with their tours but otherwise a pleasant stay. Receptionists were very accommodating and helpful considering my limited Spanish

Location Location. We changed our booking to this hotel based on a recommendation from a friend from Santiago. This is a great area. There are so many cafes and restaurants and art galleries all around. Ice crem too. We went to the Sunday market and bought some great presents. There are two Metro stations nearby, so travelling around Santiago is easy. Right opposite the hotel there is the Cerro Santa Lucia which is a hill and park, it is steep to climb, but it has great views of all of Santiago. The hotel is very good, we had a very big room, and it was very clean. Santiago is a really interesting city, worth visiting again, and we would definitely stay here

We have stayed there a few times. The location is perfect for us. The room is comfortable. The breakfast is ok. No complaints. It is a good, convenient place to stay, with a good ambience.

I had a pretty nice stay but there were a few issues - the card key reader on the door was broken, there were no hangers, and the safe was stuck locked. The staff did their best to help me. Luckily there was someone at the reception 24 hours to let me into my room. There were a few issues with cleanliness, but just in certain hard-to-get-to ares like under the bed and dresser. Also there was some sort of rave on the 8th floor in the dining area on Saturday night, which I was not counting on, because I was on the 7th floor, and I was flying out early on Sunday (I was out late myself Friday night, so I didn't notice one way or the other then). Also, though there was room service 24/7, supposedly, coffee wasn't available before 8 am on Sunday (not even in the dining area or lobby). Aside from this, I had very enjoyable stay and had everything I needed. I could not eat any of the breakfast options, because there was nothing gluten free, but they had some things like mango juice, which I enjoyed. The area around the hotel is walkable and filled with tons of restaurants, and there is a big street fair with lots of arts & crafts. It is not too long of a walk to the city center either. I would stay again (but maybe not on the top floor).

The staff was so so sweet & we were lucky enough to be there while they had availability to let us check in early. Super accommodating, easily walkable to restaurants and bars, etc. Everything you would need! Great water pressure as well.

Average hotel for the price. It has a good location, within walking distance to the Metro station and Santiago Central Mosque. The rooms are nice and clean, with comfy beds. The breakfast is average, and the staff are very friendly. The staff are also helpful, and one of them speaks English.

This is a nice hotel in a safe neighborhood that is close to the bus line and Metro. We got the 2 bedroom which was enough space for 5 of us and the hotel staff was very helpful. We were able to check-in a few hours earlybafter our long flight from USA. The only downside is that breakfast isn't available until 8:00 am and they bring it to your room once you call the front desk. We had a tour of Valparaiso and our guide picked us up at 7:30 am so we missed out on the breakfast one of the days. Plenty of restaurants near by, but you can also hear everything from outside in your room. If you are bothered by noise when you sleep be sure to bring some earplugs because there is a lot going on 24 hours a days around this hotel. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend this hotel.

My room was not available on arrival despite having pre-arranged and confirmed my arrival time. This was the only negative as I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, my room extremely comfortable and the location could not be better for what I was looking. I very much enjoyed my stay.

This was a lovely hotel with extremely friendly, helpful staff. The location was perfect, quite near where my college grandson was staying for his semester in Santiago. The staff really bent over backwards in their service.

The property is close to the metro and bus stops. Staff were very polite and professional. Bed was comfortable to sleep in. Breakfast was a nice treat. The hotel itself is a beautiful building.

We stop there for the second time and it's a great place for travellers by car. There is good underground parking, so recommend for everyone who wants to stay in the city center and travel by car or bike. Location is great, there are two super markets, Starbucks, bank. Also there is big improvement in breakfasts (last year breakfast wasn't as good). So good place for its value.

We initially booked for two nights but circumstances changed and we stayed for five. The room was simple and clean. Bathroom was functional with good water pressure and plenty of hot water for the shower. The air conditioning was quiet and effective. The beds were comfortable. We found the staff friendly and helpful and tolerant of our minimal Spanish. The breakfast was simple, scrambled eggs, toast, yogurt, juice, coffee etc. There was plenty available. This is a no frills, friendly and good budget hotel.

Friendly and sincere staff that was responsive to my queries. I am an English speaker with very little Spanish and the staff were all Spanish speakers with little English; but we got by with a translation app when needed. My room was very clean and quiet. Hotel Brasilia is centrally located to a very interesting and vibrant part of an otherwise sprawling and intimidating Santiago. I was within walking distance to O’Higgins Parque, Museos Nationales, Virgen y Cupula, and several colorful districts with unique cafes and eateries; from Chilean, to Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) . . . and a Viking Bar!

Put a bidet on the shower room or a hose to wash your ass as better than going to the shower to clean off

The location for business in the Sanhattan Area is great as only a few blocks walking; also, public transportation is at the door, subway, buses, taxi, scooters, etc. Many places to eat in the area and a 10 min metrobus ride (every 5 min) to one of the top shopping and restaurant malls in Chile.

A really friendly staff as well as better than average breakfast... a really nice bar with friendly staff. This is a classic, opulent hotel that harkens back in style and look to the early/mid 20th century. I am sure that throughout most of its existence, it was considered a 5 star or better. Today, it may be old-fashioned. I read read reviews that almost deterred me. But, this was & is the best choice. Everything was lovely. From the elevators that carried us from the 8th floor to the Lobby & sub-levels (3) in an instant, to the absolutely delicious and amazing breakfast, to the waiters, bellhops, & concierge that served us, delivered ice, water, tea & coffee to our room in an instant, to the immense spaces for sitting, talking, working, to the fabulous concert halls & meeting rooms - and yes the pool and gym. All very well appointed and with good equipment. There are complaints about the neighborhood, but this is the center of town. There are museums and churches right on the same plaza. If you r ready for beautiful wood paneled rooms (the whole place was wood paneled) with wonderful beds, and nicely appointed bathrooms with a wonderful bar, restaurant, and pleasant efficient staff, this is the place. By the way, I have stayed in the best hotels in NYC, LA, London, Madrid, Amsterdam, Seoul, and many more. This place was great. But, management must upgrade the HVAC, it worked fine but it was struggling and was slow to respond to adjustments. But, we were always comfortable. And, smarter TVs. I could not connect my Mac. But then, why stay indoors?

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was big and spacious and the bathroom huge. The shower did leak onto the floor a bit as the glass panel was too short, but it wasn’t really a problem. The bed was very comfortable. The service at reception was excellent. The breakfast buffet was very good. One of the best we have had. Lots of choice, easy to over eat. We enjoyed the use of the spa facilities as we both had massages and used the sauna. The two biggest benefits at this hotel were the ability to check in early as our overnight flight arrived at 8am, and having the use of luggage storage and the spa facility to shower late afternoon on our last day as our flight out was very late but we had to check out in the morning of course. Don’t walk around the area at night time outside the hotel. It’s not particularly safe.

Good value for money for this category of hotel. Traditional, fairly formal style and a little dark. We were upgraded to superior room and it was large and comfortable as was bathroom although shower was over the bath. We arrived at 10am from an overnight flight and for 50 USD they allowed us to check in straightaway and have breakfast. Decent gym and an indoor pool. Roof top bar which we didn't go to. Breakfast was OK but not the best quality and it was the same every day. There was only ever one lift working which caused a few long waits. Location is OK but not the best. It's on the main road through the city so there a few shops and and fast food places around but nearest restaurant area is 15 mins walk.

Lovely hotel with spacious rooms, very helpful staff, and conveniently situated walking distance from a ton of Santiago's attractions (Plaza de Armas and loads of museums are just a ten minute stroll away as are the Feria Artesenal Santa Lucia and Cerro Santa Lucia). Really good breakfast options - Victoria was so helpful in extending breakfast time since we were unwell so we could help ourselves to the excellent buffet.

Will definitely stay at Hotel Nippon when I am in Santiago again.

The two young men that looked after reception are exceptional and all the other staff also very good from cleaning staff through to the people working in the kitchen Obviously the owner runs a very good business but has installed into his staff a very professional but friendly way of working Seriously if you are looking for a place to stay this hotel is very underrated in my opinion well worth 9 star due to the friendly welcome you get Thank you and if I get back to Santiago i will stay with you again

Great staff, nice. helpful. breakfast ok but coffee was bad. room was super comfy. i would recommend it . they let me leave my luggage after checking out so i could come back and pick it up when my transportation arrive.

The room was clean. It was a good size. Everything worked. Air conditioning, TV, refrigerator in the room I had, good shower. There was an elevator and stairs. Breakfast was included in the price I chose. Comfortable bed. Wonderful staff.
