The staff are wonderful, beautifully dressed in tradition Austrian clothing. The warmest welcome from the owners, delicious food, Piotre the gentleman at the bar was amazing and made us feel so special. The staff at dinner were so knowledgeable on local wines. We sat in the Burgerstube restaurant and the traditional decor Enhanced the evening. Delicious schnitzel! The best breakfast you could wish for. So much choice we were pleased to be there for three nights so we could try and sample most of it. We were there for a special occasion and had superior double rooms, the views of the mountains took our breath away and amazed us every morning. Fantastic coffee machine, quality bedrooms with so many finishing touches that made our stay so amazing. Fantastic shower, comfiest beds, balconies over looking Untersberg and the spa. The Spa facilities were beyond luxurious and we spent as much time there in between activities as possible. My daughter enjoyed the playground too. We had the best time and didn’t want to leave.

It was a bit different that there was an adult only section (but I understand that it is common for the Austria). The pool in general area was amazing as well. There is pool inside that leads to outside pool. The atmosphere is amazing, everything is spotless clean. Adult area is also amazing, the view out of sauna is outstanding. The room was comfortable, clean and aesthetically appealing. The staff are welcoming, helpful and beautifully presented. The facilities are perfect for a family or single or couple travelers. Swiming pools, sauna, playgrounds and other activites for everyone. The dining - breakfast is a must with a selection that caters to all - excellent selection for vegans. The evening meal was also enjoyable and a perfect place to host friends.The little touches in our room - the pool towels in a pool bag, the cute room sign, and the products in bathroom - again vegan friendly.

This hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere but it was still full. Excellent large rooms with great views, coffee machine, comfortable bed and a lovely balcony with furniture. My room had a large bathroom but no bath just a shower, there were good quality toiletries available. Excellent dining experience that could be enjoyed outside if the weather was suitable or in a large dining room if raining. A huge pool and spa complex was available for guests. Breakfast was very good with an extensive choice, if booking this hotel do include breakfast as there is no alternative in the immediate area. The staff were friendly and checking is was a breeze.

This is the best hotel in Germany! The staff are so kind and helpful, the rooms are very clean and breakfast was exceptional. Shower is great, the bed is comfortable and the view from the balcony is incredible. The perfect location as a base for Eagles nest, Konigsee lake and close to shops and restaurants in town. I rarely give a perfect rating but this hotel is 10/10. We loved our stay and will return one day!

Very cosy alpine ski hotel. We had superior room It was very spacious and we had lovely view of the starry night sky from our balcony. The staff were really friendly but a few couldn’t speak to us as we don’t know German. So we did get ignored for breakfast order the final two mornings. Other than than breakfast was great! One other issue is no tea/coffee facilities in room so ended up being charged for tea every evening.

Very clean, beautiful room with an amazing view! We really enjoyed our stay here. They made us feel so welcome. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and super helpful! The breakfast was a big spread with many options and was very delicious. If we ever are back in the area we definitely would love to stay here again.

We loved everything about our stay...room was very good with a comfortable bed and a great clean bathroom with a very good shower. The view from our balcony was beautiful, breakfast was great...everything was perfect! Location was excellent great proximity to Konigssee however we did have a car!

Really beautiful rooms and property. Great jacuzzi, pool, and spa area. We had a wonderful and restful stay. Like other reviewers have stated however, the owners will try to push a lot of dinners, breakfasts, tours, reservations, etc. on you, and you will definitely be paying more than you think for it. They never tried to trick us or anything, they were just a little pushy. Just be straightforward and if you’re traveling on a budget, do meals and tours on your own. Overall, our stay was lovely!

This place is equipped to be a resort home, next to the river. The sauna and outdoor jacuzzi can be booked privately, and a pool operates during warmer seasons. Watzmann mountain, one of the highest peaks in the Bavarian alps, was the view from the apartment. We even had a Christmas tree with lights, and a fabulous modern kitchen. Peter Juhre the owner picked us up from the main train station at Berchtesgaden (just 5-8 minutes by car). We took the bus from the bus stop across the river to Salzburg centre in just 40 minutes. Berchtesgaden Old Town with Christmas market, a boat cruise at Konigsee and walk around/meals overlooking Hintersee and Konigsee are must-do's in winter. Peter and staff took great care of us throughout the stay, checking how we were settling in. Splendid location for an apartment. Thank you Peter and team!

We came here to do a little business and see our friends in Salzburg. It had a 10 out of 10 rating and it does NOT disappoint. It has a nice little gym, a pool that when empty is a fine lap pool and an outdoor jacuzzi with amazing hiking trails and views of the mountains . I wish we had time to get a massage or other services but too busy and chose the electric bikes instead. You can even bike into the town of Bad Reichenhall which has great shopping (Juhausz!)…. Love this place.

A very good hotel close to Salzburg, but in a very peaceful picturesque location. We booked here so that we could spend a day exploring the city before flying out, instead we decided to stay at the hotel and enjoy the hotel facilities . Rooms are modern, clean and luxurious, ours had wonderful views to the mountains. We stayed for dinner and breakfast and enjoyed all the food. The facilities are fantastic, there’s a very good spa (nude, mixed sex use in saunas) and lovely outdoor spa pool. Friendly, helpful staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Absolutely loved our short stay at Klosterhof. We had a suite (family of 4 plus dog) which was essentially a bedroom with a living room where the sofa bed was for the kids (12 year old twins). We had a balcony with stunning views of the Alps. The spa area was delightful and the pools a nice bonus. The food was amazing. We loved exploring and walked to Bad Reichenhall and got the cable car to Predigtstuhl. Not a fan of heights but views at the top were amazing. We ate at the restaurant there and it was delicious. We also drove to a car park (about 30 mins) where there is a cable car to the top of Untersberg. Even more breathtaking views! My daughter and I had our walking shoes and poles and walked down Reitstag. It had a very steep gradient and was hard on the legs. Took us nearly 4 hours. I wouldn't do it again as apart from the first hour when you're looking down on to Salzburg you spend most of the walk under the canopy of the forest and we literally saw noone so it was dark and a little bit uninspiring. It's very close to Salzburg which we had stayed in previous to our stay at Klosterhof. Lovely city full of charm and history (and plenty of Sound of Music gems).

A very attractive, low-key yet well-designed and well-run hotel in perfect seclusion. Excellent breakfast and dinner on the spacious terrace, a welcoming pool and a relaxing massage at the SPA. Very attentive staff; helped us with a last-minute e-Bike rental (also great). Easy parking, short distances everywhere. Bonus point: The Alphorn musician in the evening!

I loved the wellness, the breakfast, the dinner and the beautiful green forest and medow that surrounds the hotel. The rooms are confortable and clean, the view is amazing from every balcony. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It was one of the best hotels I stayed. I definitely will return!

Wonderful hotel - beautifully designed and placed amongst the mountains and the slopes. 5 minute drive to Berchtesgaden town. The room was very clean, comfortable, with a lovely view. Perfect for a relaxing, slow-paced, stree-free holiday. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with staff attentive to the guests at all times. Staff at the hotel are lovely, warm and welcoming. Went for the skiing - rental available on site and direct transportation provided by the hotel. I'd like to extend my gratitude to Kevin, who was very helpful and hospitable. All in all, absolutely great. Recommended a hundred times over.

Luxurious but not pretentious. Our room had panoramic view and that was amazing . Very spacious accommodation. Great shower. Delicious breakfast. Food in restaurant was delicious. Very friendly staff. The pool and outdoor pool were fantastic .

Opulent, incredible, lavish, amazing. Most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. Incredible mountain views combined with amazing staff and a perfectly designed and maintained hotel. Indoor and heated outdoor pools were very enjoyable. Nice gym to burn off the great food. Breakfast was delicious. To order eggs and an amazing selection of everything else. Located in Obersalzberg below the Kehlsteinhaus (Eagles Nest) this incredible hotel gives you easy access to Berchtesgaden's many attractions. Easy walk to the bus boarding area for the Eagles Nest. Buy your tickets on-line in advance. Open mid-May to mid-October. Documentation Museum (History of the Nazi leadership in this area and atrocities) is located on the backside of the vehicle parking area for the Eagles Nest bus tour and is open year around. Visit the salt mine and take the fun tour and make sure you drive to the Konigssee and take the boat tour and enjoy some hiking. If you are a true adventurer you can walk to the Kehlsteinhaus from the hotel. They will give you a map. All trails so no bus conflict. Very well marked with sign posts. Said four hours but I did it in one and a half. You don't need to take the elevator to the Eagles Nest at the bus turn around area. Walk down the road 200-300 meters and a trail takes you to the top.

Absolutely stunning hotel property; maybe the best in the region (disregarding the service). Lovely views (paying extra for the Berchtesgaden views is definitely worth it), very comfortable modern rooms, and a pleasant heated indoor/outdoor pool. Enjoying delicious dinners and breakfasts on the terrace was a highlight. Our children also loved the swing. My only complaint is that I found some of the staff at best indifferent or at worst downright rude e.g. at breakfast we asked for tea and the server curtly told us that the tea bags and hot water were inside despite other servers offering tea/coffee the previous mornings. Also, at the spa, the lady there didn’t speak English, which makes booking treatments a challenge for international travellers. My advice: come for the views and amenities but avoid the staff.

AMAZING! Its the perfect location for relaxation, its like a fairytale. The staff was great, super helpful and attentive (special thanks for Ana and Pana at the restaurant!). The breakfast is super fresh and tasty, great facilities, beautiful and relaxing pool. Looking forward to going back!

The hotel was very comfortable with amazing views, out of town so very quiet but easy to get to centre (excellent bus service close by) it was snowing but hotel was very warm, evening meal was very good and reasonably priced, breakfast was a very good buffet selection, staff were excellent, very friendly and welcoming, bedroom was traditional style with comfortable bed and modern bathroom.

We liked everything! The location was beautiful and peaceful with a view to the Untersberg. The hotel is a short distance to the airport, and an easy bus ride into the Old Town of Salzburg. The room was spotless, spacious, had a lovely balcony, and the bathroom was ideal and well appointed. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Snoopy was a character! We also had dinner one night in the restaurant. It was the best meal we had on our whole trip. The schnitzel was the best I have ever had, and I have eaten a LOT of schnitzel. My husband says the beef goulash was excellent. We enjoyed our stay here so much. Can't wait to come back! Thank you to all the staff for a great ending to our week-long touring.

Bloberger Hof is the most beautiful bed and breakfast I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. I would return to Austria just to stay at Bloberger Hof. The place is clean, cozy, and beautiful. The staff is welcoming and helpful and the food was delicious. The property even has a cute dog called Snoopy to greet you as well as a few adorable kittens. The animals, the breakfast/dinner service, and the view of the mountains really added to the quaint atmosphere you want to experience at a B&B. The place felt like something from a movie! 10/10.

Friendly staff. Clean cosy rooms. Mountain views from the balcony. Quiet residential area, about 20min away by bus from the city center but bus no. 21 stop is 2min away from hotel and buses are frequent and on time. It was a good decision to book Breakfast and dinner because all was fresh and delicous. All in all, i highly reccomend!

As soon as you enter this family hotel, it is clear to you that every detail, every guest, is taken care of. Everything is clean, beautiful, comfortable, fragrant, and cozy. It is obvious that the hosts take this job seriously, which is more than just a job for them. Guests here feel like they have come to visit relatives. Every morning, in addition to the various foods already on the buffet, we could choose whether we wanted an omelet or something else to be prepared - just for us. Our room was spacious, bright, with a beautiful terrace, from which there was a view of the beautiful surroundings. The dining room and common rooms are decorated in a traditional style combined with modern details. One of these details is the elevator, which is valuable when you are carrying a lot of luggage. The parking lot where guests can leave their cars while exploring the surroundings or, for example, taking the bus to Salzburg, is very useful. The weather was not kind to us, so we were unable to use the pool (it was rainy and chilly), but I'm sure those who did have nothing but praise for it. I hope I will have the opportunity to be a guest of the wonderful Bloberger Hof again. Until then, I wish you much success in your future work, and thank you for giving me a wonderful stay in Salzburg.

We loved how tastefully the traditional was combined with the modern. We stayed in a beautiful room on the ground floor, large, very comfortable and furnished with high quality furnishings. The food at the restaurant was exceptional. The breakfast also. Wide variety of breakfast food provided all of an exceptional quality. Pet friendly and parking right outside of the hotel. It seemed like this is a family run establishment and staff were super kind and helpful. We look forward to staying here again.

Great location near the salt mines and a short train ride away from Salzburg: the hotel provides you with the train tickets and the train station us just across the street. The hotel is entirely renovated, clean, very kind staff and a restaurant and bar with a great atmosphere. Breakfast was also very good with everything necessary. The room was spacious, comfortable, and with a very nice view. The spa is small but has all you need and is opened upon request. It was also a great experience. We hope to return soon!

Wonderful cozy hotel near Salzburg. We were with 3 kids, took a family room and it was very comfortable. Room view is truly amazing! The breakfast and restaurant are excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Location makes it super easy to visit Salzburg and enjoy the city. We will definitely come back here;)

Have stayed at Langwies quite a few times now, and have always had, without exception, a wonderful holiday The restaurant atmosphere is excellent, and with a real cosmopoltan feel. Few english speaking guests whenever we have been there, but everyone very friendly, and welcoming (Staff and other residents) Rooms large, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The farm animals are very friendly, particularly the sheep that was part of the nativity scene in the grounds (wanting to follow us into the bar!) Wonderful for a visit just before Christmas particularly, but we have enjoyed the hospitality of the Brunnauer family at most seasons of the year. A previous reviewer has mentioned that the train for Salzburg can be caught right outside the hotel, we have done this a few times, just be aware that not all trains back from Salzburg stop at Bad Vigaun! It can be quite disconcerting to see your hotel flashing by at 70-80mph, while you are bound for God knows where! All part of the adventure! An excellent base to explore Salzburg, Hallein, and the surrounding areas.

An exceptional place to stay. The staff are so helpful and professional, the restaurant a joy and location perfect for anyone wishing to visit Salzburg by train or just close to the motorway. The concierge had train tickets and a map of the city waiting for us in the morning and after a good filling breakfast we boarded the train where the station is beside the hotel. 30min later we were in central Salzburg and spent a fabulous day sightseeing meandering around gardens, buildings and streets.

The Rehlegg is a very comfortable hotel. We found the staff very welcoming and friendly, and at all times efficient and helpful. Our room was extremely comfortable and relaxing, and it was a treat to have a kettle and tea provided - unusual in our experience. The balcony offered comfortable seating and a partial view along the valley. The restaurant is well located and the food is of a high quality, although we enjoyed breakfast more than dinner - the range of cereals, cold meats/cheeses and freshly cooked egg dishes set us up for the day. Dinner was less appealing, as although the standard of the food was high, and the staff excellent (even when the restaurant was very busy) all evening meals were served on a buffet system, and we found this noisy and not very relaxing. We had not been aware of this when we booked. For this reason we would probably not return to the Rehlegg, but this is not a criticism of the hotel, simply the fact that this arrangement did not suit us. The hotel is very well located on a bus route and there are also walks directly from the hotel, and we found the hotel concierge extremely helpful in providing us with walking maps and suggestions for walks, all of which we found enjoyable - thank you!

This was probably about our 10th stay at the Rehlegg....we have been going there for some time. The hotel remains absolutely excellent but maintains the traditional Bavarian feeling that is so important in this area and important to us. Our check in was easy but if you are staying in the "newer" building you might take advantage of bringing your bags in the back door which you can easily drive up to with your vehicle. We appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine that was set up in our room. But, we appreciate more the high standards of the hotel..........there is never a time when a Rehlegg staff member does not greet you. Breakfast is a terrific buffet complete with anything you might want. The dinner buffet is exceptional.........I know some folks don't like the idea of a buffet at dinner but this one is really different with excellent meat/fish/poultry offerings every nite as well as many regional dishes. We loved the Haxn and the grilled meat as well but all of the choices were excellent. I was very surprised to see dampfnudel offered at the buffet one evening and it was excellent. We enjoyed getting cocktails in the comfy bar before dinner in the evening. My only request would be to have better offerings of pillows for the guests but this is a very minor point. Spectacularly located lovely hotel with amazing views. Staff and service were exceptional. Bed (Haestens) incredibly comfortable. Cosy, warm and inviting. Delicious food with a great variety The Spa facilities and services were wonderful (excellent full body massage) The wellness facilities are excellent - especially the panorama sauna with the amazing views and the outdoor heated swimming pool and relaxing area. Free electric car charging at the back of the hotel! Highly recommend this wonderful place.

This was by far the nicest hotel that my husband and I have ever stayed in. The staff was so friendly and wonderful and I think we were the only English speaking guests there and they always went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and all spoke English to accommodate us. The views from the entire hotel are stunning, pictures Just don't do it justice. There is so much to do close by with rental car and short hikes within the town. The food was unbelievable. A huge buffet for breakfast and dinner that changes all the time and is fresh, natural and some of the best meals that we had in Germany. There are so many little amenities and touches that make this just the most relaxing, beautiful place to be and if we ever came back to this area we would 100% stay again!

Fabulous large room (337), with balcony and seating area. Good and plentiful choices for the dinner and breakfast buffet, with different options each day. Very professional staff whilst also all being the friendliest staff we have ever encountered at a hotel. The setting is perfect for walking in the area, which was the object of our holiday. We didn't use the spa/swimming pool/sauna facilities, however for anyone who enjoys that aspect of a holiday I would imagine you wouldn't want to leave the hotel at all.

Very modern Hotel and very clean. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. Parking is plentiful and the location is perfect. Although close to a main road you don't hear any noise at all but you are in such a great location as Salzburg is only 15 minutes away and many of the other main places of interest are not far away. The rooms are very clean and modern and comfortable beds. Then there is the breakfast! It has to be the best breakfast spread i've seen in a long time. It is not only well displayed but very tasty. So much choice that I had something different every day and still didn't get to try all of it. It really set you up for the day.

The breakfast was amazing. Fresh cooked, large variety, and it varied each day. Coffee and juice complimentary all day as well. Our group had 2 2 bedroom apartments, and a 3 bedroom apartment. Our family's 3 bedroom apartment was very spacious, clean, with a nice balcony (overlooks the parking lot). The staff was super friendly, very nice and courteous. Ample parking. Location was not in Salzburg but perfect with a car. Easy drive to Salzburg via car or bus (short walk to stop), highways and surrounding area/day trips. Close to grocery and restaurants as well (via car). Beautiful outdoor patio seating, and playground if you have little kids. Also access to laundry facilities for $10 for 24 hours. It was our best stay in Europe by far!

Where do I start... superb. Located near a village, lots of green fields and nature and mountains all around, yet modern and clean. Free parking. Bus station nearby but better drive a few minutes to P+R Salzburg south and get a 24H ticket (15 euros) which is valid for 5 persons in the entire city for public transportation and also covers the car parking. From there busses 3 or 8 go to the city center. Breakfast was amazing and you can have it on a large terrace with view to the mountains. Also you can use the terrace during the day/evening and the coffee machine is running until about 8PM for free Also a second terrace on the 1st floor and an indoor lounge for winter Should you need, they also have rooms equiped for persons with mobility issues - bathroom with handles, shower on the floor, shower chair

Very rich breakfast. The view from the breakfast room is amazing, and it was nice sitting there and enjoying the breakfast. The family room includes a small kitchen. Kid friendly - an internal and external playground for kids exists. The staff is very nice and helpful!

The hotel is near the highway, but in a beautiful, green environment. Beds are comfortable, rooms are small, but very clean. Staff is really helpful and they have to of advise what and where to do around. The breakfast was the best, I've ever met. Everything was very fresh, the food selection was exceptional and the taste was like a real home-made breakfast.
