Beds were very comfortable. Host was very nice and cares that your stay is nothing short of excellent. Loved staying in the middle of a vineyard, don’t know where else you can do that. Breakfast was spectacular, delivered in the cutest picnic basket. the best croissant I have had (beautifully warmed) , the milk for you coffee was warmed, more food that you could eat , the granola on top of the yogurt, fresh squeezed or orange juice. plus she gives you a To go box with apples, grapes etc. The value cars exceeds the cost.

It does what it says on the tin. The whole site, in a vineyard, is well thought through: cabins, sitting, pathways, furniture. We stayed in 30deg.with window blinds and air conditioning, all was fine. The white wine was great as well and there in a restaurant on site which is quite classy. .Meanwhile the breakfast, delivered to the doore in a basket was great fun...sat in amongst the vines. A different overnight stay and great fun 👍

The owner Mr Jose Fragoso was extremally helpful and accommodating. Always there to assisted and helped well beyond expectations. The family room was very spacious and confrontable. Went out of his way to supply with a fridge and other staff.

Location was great and the owner / manager was very friendly even though he didn't speak much english, which we wouldn't expect anyway. The bed was quite comfortable for me.

The beds were super comfortable and José a lovely and accommodating host.

Location and it had a locked and covered driveway.

My wife and I stayed here for one week, the room is a good size, bathroom ok also, shower and towel fitting a bit high. Aircon ok, WIFI good, I had no problems. The Breakfast room/Bar is very modern and Breakfast is excellent, normal continental with a small hot selection and the coffee is good. By far the main asset to this hotel are the staff, the receptionists are always friendly and helpful at any time of day, this friendly and helpful manner extends to the ladies at breakfast and to housekeeping. The location to the town is ideal, restaurants are near by, there is a lovely pasteleria B (cake Shop) 10 yards from the front door where the selection is very good and the staff are very nice. The beach is a 10 to 15 minute walk and also the catamaran to Troia where you can visit a large beach, get boats for dolphin watching and some visit Roman ruins.

The Hotel Solaris is housed in a beautiful historic building in the heart of the historic district of Setubal. Most of the historic sites are a simple short walk away. The building is a nicely maintained example of Portuguese historic architecture. Reportedly, Napoleon lived there during his occupation of Setubal. I thought that the staff was great; friendly, helpful, and multilingual. The breakfast buffet was lovely and offered a surprisingly large number of high quality options, including the typical Portuguese breakfast pastries, but also more international selections such as fried and scrambled eggs,, breakfast meats, queshes, different cold cereal, fresh fruit salad,, and a cold case with a variety of sandwich fare. The interior of the hotel and the guest rooms are nicely restored in a simple modern style in character. It offers all of the modern features such as wifi, television in the rooms, and a small desk. I really like Hotel Solaris. I had a nice stay and would stay there again.

This hotel is a real gem in Setúbal! Perfect location - right by two big streets, safe, many bus stops around, walking distance to most of attractions (old town, promenade), many cafes and restaurants around. 24h reception, lift. Lovely room with balcony, very comfortable bed, big tv, small fridge, very nice bathroom with bath tub which can be used as shower. Rooms cleaned every day, fresh towels. Delicious breakfasts, especially bakeries. Amazing staff - very helpful and always smiling 🙂 Definitely I'll be back!

Located in a fairly central area, the hotel is comfortable. We had a double room with about a queen size bed. The pillows were OK. The room, bathroom, and halls were clean, and the elevator is small. The location is quiet, except for the noisy construction next door on the day we arrived. There are a number of cafes and bars within a few steps, and some of the better restaurants are within an easy walk from the hotel. The market and fishing docks are also nearby. The breakfast was standard but not exceptional. The desk staff was very helpful and friendly, with fine spoken English.

Lovely small hotel with friendly and helpful staff in a great town. Not luxury but comfortable and clean. If you like Portuguese authenticity and don’t want to be surrounded by bus loads of other tourists, this is a great place. Shabby but beautiful - and next door to a stunning Natural Park with beautiful beaches. Food is so cheap and you eat the delicious fresh fish which you see in the morning fish market. Try KEFISH restaurant- so good i ate there every night!

Was upgraded to a lovely suite with kitchen/living area and bedroom separated by curtain. Large private courtyard area with 4 seater table. Decent but simple breakfast buffet with fresh eggs available to order. Service very friendly. Front desk service was friendly but sometimes felt a bit lacking. Rooftop fitness area is a great space, but few, very basic items...a couple of kettlebells and very light weight dumbbells. Slight downside is despite Comporta being quiet you could hear everything in the room... a (guest's?) dog barking. Room was located above kitchen and could hear the fans and noise from kitchen.

Beautiful property, located centrally in Comporta. Perfect for exploring local beaches and a great location for local restaurants. The staff were fantastic and really do go above and beyond to help and make sure your stay is comfortable. The rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. The pool area was really nice and the service great. Roof top bar a delight and the perfect place for some pre dinner drinks - the bar staff are brilliant. Delicious breakfast. Extremely relaxing break.

It was just perfect. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful and always with a smile. Late night my husband was hungry and I called the reception to ask if was possible to eat something ( the bar closes at 23h, and it was near that time, but they managed to bring us something to the room). The room was beautifully decorated and the bed/ pillows super comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of options, and everything home made (the papaya marmelade was divine). Super clean and cosy with a Boho Chick atmosphere ( the pictures doesn't make real justice). The common areas were beautiful, pleasant and enjoyable.

The location of this hotel is quite good for a 3-4 night stay in the area. Be aware it is essentially a luxury motel. Rooms open to the exterior and there is no room service. We had a suite with terrace for 2 nights and continued our stay for an extra 2 nights for a total of 4 nights. Our suite had a kitchenette with an under counter refrigerator, small cooktop, oven, kettle and coffee maker. The kitchen was stocked with pots, dishes and utensils necessary to make a simple meal. There was a sofa and large tv with a divider from the sleeping area. Our terrace was huge and was on the floor above us, accessed from exterior stairs. Breakfast was ample and quite nice. The rooftop bar/restaurant was quite good for a simple tapas style meal and served good cocktails. The music didn’t quite fit the atmosphere though.

Great location in the centre of Comporta. Brief walk to shops and restaurants. Very recently renovated with a quiet pool area and rooftop bar, serving cocktails and good snacks and tapas style food. Would recommend the Ceviche and also the sardine fillets on brioche as a mid afternoon snack. Breakfast is small but has the nice addition of some cooked to order items as well as the continental breakfast. Staff were very accommodating and polite. We were upgraded to a pool suite on arrival. Would definitely recommend and will return again soon.

The hotel was clean and modern, with nice restaurant and bar. Elevators were very quick, free underground parking, but tight however with our fiat 500, it wasn't too bad. Quiet residential neighbor hood about 15-20 minutes walk from center of Setùbal Avenida Luiza Todi with shops, groceries, cafes and restaurants. There is a nice market just across from the hotel, and a few other restaurants closer to the hotel. Friendly, hard working staff.

I stayed at Hotel Crstal so I could meet up with family now living in Setubal. The hotel was stylish, comfortable and clean and very welcoming. I had a lovely quiet room with a suberb bathroom and a balcony. Breakfast offerred so much delicious choice! Thank you - I hope to be back.

4 day stay in this light and airy hotel. Helpful , friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Spotlessly clean. Delicious breakfast. Would recommend the bedrooms with terrace which offer wonderful views across the town. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Stay in a Prime Location This property is in an excellent spot—just a 3-minute drive to the town centre, and the shopping mall is a short stroll away (only 5 minutes on foot or 2 minutes by car). 🍽️ Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of both continental options and hearty cooked dishes. Although we didn’t dine in for dinner, the buffet looked beautifully arranged and offered a tempting selection of mains and desserts. 🛏️ Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and comfortable. The swimming pool was a lovely bonus—clean, well-maintained, and equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas, perfect for relaxing. 🚗 Getting around was easy. The property is about a 30-minute drive from the airport; we took an Uber for £35, which was reasonable. 🌴 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had a chance to explore the surrounding area. Whether you’re stopping over or planning a longer visit, I’d highly recommend this place for its convenience, comfort, and excellent amenities.

I had a very good stay at Novotel Setubal. The location is good, no complaints about the room in terms of comfort and cleaning. The Breakfast had a good variety of products, all very fresh and tasty. I want also to give a very good compliment to all the staff in special those allocated to the breakfast working tirelessly to provide room for all the guests and the lady in de bar that prepared tasty Gin and tonics :). The only remark was the pancake machine that was not working properly.

Very friendly helpful staff at reception ( particularly Anna and Beatrice - but in fairness all staff we met were super ). There was a warmth and a genuine desire to make our stay pleasant from the start. Pool is lovely, everything spotless and working, lovely fresh smell in hotel, breakfasts (fruit beautiful) were excellent! Even had spirulina / matcha every type of seed. Pool towels replaced every day and fluffy and new!

We had a wonderful experience — the staff were incredibly welcoming and provided great service throughout our stay. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of fresh and delicious options. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Setúbal!

Stayed for a week with friends visiting wineries in the area. Although the hotel was busy with coach parties for much of that time, the staff were cheerful and helpful. The bar/restaurant staff in the evening made sure we were well looked after and gave lots of advice on local wines and restaurants. We found the meals in the restaurant to be good value for money and delicious. There were a couple of minor housekeeping issues - but nothing which would spoil anyone's stay, and these were obviously because the housekeeping staff were very busy. The buffet breakfast was amazing and kept us going until late afternoon. Thank you for a lovely experience!

We attended the Setubal Live Score Film Festival, and this hotel was within walking distance of both of the film venues and the train station. It’s also just across the street from a park filled with whimsical statues, as well as the town’s soccer stadium. The a la carte dinner in the hotel’s restaurant was quite good, and the breakfast buffet was satisfying. I was a bit disappointed with the size of the indoor pool, but the water temperature and cleanliness of the whole spa area made for a relaxing and enjoyable swim. The room was spacious and had a nice view of the park. The bed could have been a little softer though.

This hotel is great. Location halfway between the train station and the old town square was perfect. Room was spotless, interesting view of the football stadium! Breakfast was plentiful. Bar service was very friendly, João, the barman was very helpful and made us feel very welcome.

The villa was a perfect fit for a family of 5. 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms and very clean. The pool was a great size and it was good to have the larger pools to go to aswell. The walk to the beach was fantastic and there was no one on the beach ever, it was beautiful white sands and empty. The area was quiet, clean, well spaced out and thought about. The main pool at the clubhouse is the best larger pool. A good size, also an indoor pool as the outdoor pool isn't heated. Pool table inside for people to play on and wifi.

We absolutely loved our stay at the gorgeous resort. Surrounded by peaceful nature and just a short walk from a stunning beach, it felt like a hidden gem. We stayed in one of the pool villas, which was even better than we had imagined—spacious, nicely designed, and incredibly relaxing. Everything exceeded our expectations. A perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and natural beauty.

The location was perfect. The property had great facilities to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The beach is beautiful and clean.

(They did not clean our glasses or put the bed pillow back on the bed etc. Bathroom is small but fine. Comfy bed. Enjoyed the usb power outlets at the bedside, the lighting, and the balcony. Smart TV did not have Prime video or Netflix app to connect with, mirroring from smart phone worked though. Great breakfast with very attentive staff.

The hotel is well located, right in front of the ONLY supermarket in town and relatively near the Marina of Troia (where all restaurants are located). The breakfast was delicious and had A LOT of options including options cooked in the spot by the chefs. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were very polite and helpful.

Location is good! Is just a few minutes walk from the beache, restaurants & grocery store. Staff is super friendly! Breakfast is good they dont have a lot of options but what they offer is pretty good, the only thing they could change is fresh orange jus. Cleaning was on point everyday. We didn't use the swimmingpools but they looked nice. They offer some free parking spaces near the hotel but they are not garanted so if the hotel is full you will have to pay for their underground parking space.

Fantastic, apartments right on the beach, modern and clean as new. All the amenities, perfect for the kids, we could eat at home or walk to the restaurants, pool or beach. Not a hotel though so housekeeping every other day and no breakfast. We wish we had stayed longer.

Hotel is located a little out of the city port and center. We had a car so it was easy to drive into town. Free carpark provided at the hotel. Typical Ibis Red, rooms clean, small and comfortable. Compact toilet / shower but all worked well. We did not opt for daily breakfast with the room, but had the buffet breakfast once at a charge of Euro9 per head. It is substantial and if you start late, you can eat enough to last you over lunch, which we did. I had read that it has no elevator and asked for a ground floor room, which they obliged us as stairs are challenge for me. Short drive into town and pleased that Setubal has ample parking places everywhere for free and these places are just next to highlights of Setubal.

The reception, buffet/restaurant areas are super modern, the hallways and all the up until the room door are excellent. However the bedrooms need updating asap. There is no water, coffee facility, there is only soap available, hairdryer and phone in the room. The condition of the walls, ceilings, carpet needs some work as it looks so dated. The bathroom was modernised but the walls showed humidity on the bottom and I even found a spider in the sink one morning.

Friendly welcome at the reception. Quite no disturbing noise. Easy parking in front of the hotel. Nice breakfast buffet. As usual comfortable bed and desk to final my work at night.

The two-star hotel provided a very pleasant and welcoming experience, with exceptionally friendly staff. Mrs. Carlos at reception and the two cleaning ladies were particularly helpful during an unexpected situation, for which I am deeply grateful. I certainly plan to return in the future.

Our room was a good size, impressively clean, and very comfortable – just what you need for a relaxing night. It's also worth noting there's a lift in the hotel, which is always a bonus! Breakfast the next morning was a real highlight – a fantastic spread and a great way to start the day. One thing to be aware of is that there's no on-site parking directly at the hotel. However, this wasn't an issue at all as there's plenty of parking available just outside. We found it convenient and the fee was quite reasonable. Overall, a very positive experience and would happily recommend!

I recently stayed at the Turim Club Azeitao Hotel and had an amazing experience! The breakfast was great. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. My room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

The hotel has an amazing garden and space for Picnic, walk and watch the animals. The food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was fantastic! Those chefs are amazing! The staff in the restaurant and reception are super friendly and kind. The location is close by Bacalhoa wine. The air conditioner works well.

The hotel looks like an old grand house of a large estate. The rooms are big, warm and with all the amenities you should expect. WiFi is fast and reliable. The parking is large and we had no trouble finding a spot. Note that Google Maps places the entrance some 5 car lengths away from the real entrance — you can spot the real entrance in satellite view. There’s a big grassy lawn in the back where you can sometimes find friendly sheep grazing! There’s also an outdoor swimming pool we didn’t try out as the weather was not friendly during our stay.

This hotel is lovely, especially the spa. It is located right next to the beach with easy access to shops and restaurants. A must for any seafood lovers, not good for just meat eaters. The double beds are two singles pushed together. The breakfast had alot of variety but the fried breakfast was not very nice. If you would like to use the internet in your room there is no access unless you use a laptop as you are given an ethernet cable. For ipad etc.. You will need a usb thermet port which you will not be able to buy there. Would highly recommend the sauna and turkish bath. The indoor pool is not for swimming in, as it is small - more of a cold jacuzzi, and no under 13's.

I’ve just thoroughly enjoyable week at the Sesimbra Oceanfront hotel. The staff were amazing, they couldn’t do enough to help. The public areas are spotless. My big sea view room was cleaned and tidied daily. I did pay to upgrade to a deluxe sea view room and in my opinion it was worth it. I’m disabled so the huge walk in shower was perfect. The bed was really comfortable. Two lifts and very easy access to the beach, plaza, bars and restaurants. The breakfast buffet is regularly replenished and like everything else in this hotel kept spotlessly clean. It had a huge variety of hot and cold food. Different breads and pastries, fresh fruit, cold meats and cheeses, salad, hot breakfast items, good bean to cup coffee machines and lots more. And a great sea view terrace to sit and enjoy it all. The bar on the plaza under the hotel did have music on Friday and Saturday night. It was fairly loud with my balcony door open but with it closed not a problem. It finished around 12.30am Better still go and enjoy it, it’s a great lively bar, drinks aren’t expensive and the staff are really friendly. As you can tell from my review I really enjoyed my stay and I’d like to thank all the staff who made my holiday so enjoyable. I will definitely be returning.

Having just spent 5 nights here on a mother daughter trip I would definitely recommend a stay and would love to come back. The hotel is situated opposite the beach and has easy access to the promenade that stretches the length of Sesimbra with its beautiful sandy beach and numerous restaurants. We stayed in a deluxe premium room that had a balcony with stunning views over the beach and sea. The room was spacious with excellent storage facilities and a bathroom with a walk in shower. It was so relaxing just sitting out on the balcony and enjoying the view. We also arranged to meet family at the hotel who stayed in a suite and so were lucky enough to spend time in their room…..superb accommodation and well worth the upgrade if you’re looking for something a bit special. Breakfast offered a good selection of cereals, pastries, cold meats, hot food and fruit. The choices of drinks were plentiful and you can even start the day with a glass of fizz! We made good use of the infinity pool, enjoying the view overlooking the sea and were always able to secure a spot to sunbathe. Unfortunately we ran out of time to use the Spa facilities…..but another reason for a return stay!

I only stayed one night and I wish I stayed longer. The room was big, clean and comfortable, with an amazing view to the ocean. The staff was very helpful and kind, the amenities were great and the quality is there. Breakfast was also very good with great variety of food. The location is super convenient and private, with an exit to the beachfront. Despite being winter time it was great to walk along the beach. The area is full of small shops and traditional restaurants.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Turim. As stated the staff was helpful and professional. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The (optional but WELL WORTH) breakfast buffet was really delicious. Finally, YES I would certainly stay again. Very reasonably priced as well !

A lovely hotel with lots of character and interesting aspects - particularly liked the bowl of local tomatoes on reception desk instead of the normal sweets!! Rooms large and comfortable, bed really good, buffet breakfast reasonable if booked in with package and staff very helpful. Turim group have done a great job restoring this property. In a great wine tasting area and lots of scenic places a short drive away. Pre-book the Cataplana for two - made fresh to order and really good. Would have like a kettle for tea and coffee making in the room.

Nice old mansion not far from some very popular restaurant spots, spacious rooms, well equiped, bit aged but well maintained. Pool in on the hil in the vineyards with view to the valley - great! Good value (we didn't take breakfast option as in Azeitao there are many Pastellarias)

This Hotel was very nice , garden was a plus to walk round after a cold breakfast and water cold to make tea. But if you like Continental breakfast, you should be OK. T V very poor for channel options ,for this day and age. No internet connection in the room but good near the lobby did notice this slowed when other guests used this at the same time as i did. The crux of it all is would i stay there again ? Yes i would but a hot breakfast and not just cold egg and bacon might help. maybe some tomatoes or beans even mushrooms ? you will need a car to stay here if you want to get about. Dinner was OK but menu limited and not great value. This overall was a nice hotel just needs that little extra to live up to its 4 star rating

We loved everything about this guesthouse and will certainly stay here again. The host Carla is welcoming and a genuinely good human - she speaks fluent english as a plus. She made us the most incredible multi-course breakfast with juice, coffee, croissants, fruit, yoghurt, eggs and a mini pastel de nata. The rooms were roomy and very comfortable. We opted for the small terrace which is a nice place to have an afternoon snack. There's a large sitting area downstairs where the kitchen is, and an outdoor area if the weather is nice. Carla made sure we had a good dinner reservation and gifted us some lovely cheese to start with. Definitely stay here, you won't be disappointed.

This was an amazing place to stay!! it really is a “boutique” hotel. I can’t say enough about how impressed we were with the accommodations!! So creatively and beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, so comfortable and the staff were wonderful. The owner went beyond the call of duty to ensure that we were comfortable and happy. I must add that this hotel allowed us to leave our luggage there for 10 days as we’re were cycling from Setubal to the Algarve. The breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel…not to be missed.

Little jewel, cosy and comfy, with an amazing deco, well equipped and with all you need. The beds are super comfortable and of best quality. Every detail is well thought and shines taste. The personnel is very welcoming and friendly, we will come back for sure!

My 2 year old daughter and I had an amazing stay. The rooms was beautiful and super comfortable and well decorated. Location was great, near wonderful restaurants. Above all, Carla and her staff welcomed us with great generosity and helped us so much in navigating the city. They prepared a delicious breakfast and really cared for my daughter. When my daughter was not well, Carla even went to the pharmacy with me to make sure I got what I needed. Thanks so much, Carla, Anna, and the rest of the team. We would come back to stay any time!!!

the Guest House is very central and walking distance to many restaurants as well as the beach. We had room "Porto". It was so beautiful with a patio with private long chairs. Breakfast is served with love and truly enjoyable. we will certainly come back there.

We loved this small boutique hotel, which has been beautifully renovated and decorated. It has lots of character and is extremely comfortable. We were warmly welcomed when we checked in and given lots of helpful information about Setubal and local restaurants. Sem Horras in particular, which we really enjoyed. The hotel itself though is ideally situated right on the edge of the old town, which means restaurants are all walkable. Our room was on the top floor, with a lovely leafy outlook. It was very comfortable and there was also a lovely lounge area to sit in just outside our room, where we enjoyed the complimentary small bottle of Moscatel - a nice touch. Breakfast was also very good with a good selection, included smoked salmon to go with my scrambled eggs. I have to give a special thank you to all the staff at the hotel, who without exception were all very friendly and helpful and contributed to the enjoyment of our stay at this delightful hotel. Just one small point. There is no lift so it might not suit anyone who has difficulty walking up stairs. Having said that the staff carried our suitcases to our room for us, so we had no problem.

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city, within easy walking distance to some of the more popular attractions, restaurants, shops, and the ocean! The staff are among the most courteous, helpful, and friendliest we've ever encountered. Special thanks to Sebastian, Ana, and Patricia for looking after us and offering their respective expertise and suggestions, and who made us feel part of their family! The premise is very quaint and comfortable, the room is more than adequate for two people and includes the basic amenities, bar-fridge, safe, TV, a typical "continental" breakfast, and a stocked coffee machine in the room! Although listed as a 3-Star, the service received and the condition of the recently refreshed interiors, left us feeling it is definitely worthy of a higher rating . . . If you're planning a visit to Setubal, the Rio Art Hotel is a must consideration for your stay.

We really liked that the hotel was very clean and the location was great, close to everything and very walkable area. The old town was Right across the street and is filled with restaurants and shopping. Our favorite part was the staff. Virtually everyone we met was welcoming, friendly and helpful. They gave wonderful suggestions for places to go and also directions. The breakfast was good and plentiful and the staff kept it stocked very well. We would definitely come back.

Great and convenient place to stay in Setubal. 40 mins by toll highway to Lisbon Airport! Located in the middle of the city and restaurants, shopping and sights are within walking distance. Very helpful staff! Room was spacious, modern and clean in a historical building. Breakfast was a good bonus. Recommend if you’re in the area or on your way back to Lisbon.

Location is great, walking distance to food places, Supermarket, Public transportation also the ferry, it runs every hour, 20 min. trip one way, cross to the other side, where you have a Casino, restaurants sandy beach (Troia - Mar Beach) and you can buy ticket to see Dolphins. Ferry ticket is 9 Euros (both ways). Rooms are clean, One room has a bed, second one has a Sofa, Both are spacious, each has TV / an air condition and washroom/shower. Breakfast has enough variety.

I recently stayed at Pepa Guest House in Setúbal and had a lovely experience. The guesthouse is small and charming, with very pleasant and welcoming owners Pedro and Patricia, who make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The bedding, towels, and mattress were all of excellent quality, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-organized, and the overall design of the space gave a cozy, homey feel. Everything that was promised was delivered, and the attention to detail was noticeable throughout. Pedro was very welcoming and giving the advice on what to do and what to see in Setubal - was very useful. I wish the owners all the best and have no doubt they will continue to receive high ratings in the future. If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-maintained place to stay in Setúbal, I highly recommend Pepa Guest House.

He gave us alot of tips and information about where to go, where to eat and so on. + The property. It was so clean, well organized, and safe. We were able to cook at their lovely kitchen, there was a terrace, and a chill lounge. Everything was nicely decorated. Our room was nice too. Comfy beds. + The location. It was close to the public transport so it was not a problem at all going to places and exploring the beauty of Setubal. + OVERALL IT WAS A GREAT 5+ day STAY. We’re happy and would love to be back. Pedro was fantastic! They have a great setup here--comfortable (if cozy) room, and access to a nice kitchen and a bar area (BYOB) with a rooftop patio. Super clean and Pedro was very quick to respond when we arrived or needed him for something. Location was just a few minutes' walk from historic center lots of options for shopping/restaurants, etc. nearby. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely guesthouse, everything was extremely clean and very comfortable. The shared kitchen was very handy to store food in the fridge and you could cook there too if needed. Pedro the owner was super friendly and very helpful in letting us store our store for a few hours on check out day. The location is right by the train station so that was perfect for us coming in from Lisbon, then less than 10 min walking to the waterfront.

This is the cleanest and prettiest guesthouse we have ever stayed it. The shared kitchen is spotless, with lots of thoughtful amenities & details. Each bedroom has a very comfortable bed and its own bathroom and it’s all very clean and pretty. Some of the rooms are huge but we liked the one with a balcony. The location is ideal, opposite the train station and the owners are very nice people. We look forward to returning next time we visit Setúbal.

We got a great deal on this room as a last minute stay. The location is incredible and a very short 5 minute walk to the most beautiful beach. We travelled during low season so there was not much open locally - and the location is quite remote from Comporta. We did not have a car so couldn't travel, but managed to eat lunch in local beach bars and made our own picnics for dinner - the local shop is well stocked and a 5 minute walk from the B&B. The staff here are delightful and made our stay so comfy. the room was incredible, very big, very comfy. The bed is amazing and the general decor/vibe was super luxurious! The breakfast was epic and really filled us up - with loads of different options to choose from. Thank you Mela & Ellie for being so kind.

From start to finish this was such a wonderful stay! Our room was super comfortable, clean and beautiful, the breakfast was nice (especially the homemade yoghurt, butter and cheese!), and the host and staff were all so friendly and helpful!! It reminds me a bit of a boutique hotel - a villa where you stay in different rooms. It was so cosy, homey, and just all around beautiful. We needed an iron at one point, and it was super simple to just message the host - next time we entered our room, the iron was there. It's nice and peaceful, had parking for our car, and is a super short walk from the beach. If I'm coming back to Troia I'll definitely want to stay here again! Be aware that Google Maps might show different locations (not the host's fault). We messaged the host to make sure we were headed to the correct location, and she responded immediately - so we had no problem finding the place in the end :)

Our stay at Cafofos da Zeta has probably been the best stay we have had in an apartment up to now. The host, Liseta was very friendly and welcoming. The response from her was very quick and instructions on how to get in was very easy. She is lovely and even suggested places to eat and go, so thank you. She was happy to help and answered any questions we had, also she checked in on us, making sure that we were ok and having fun. Once we entered the room, it felt like home, the whole interior and decoration, it was definitely to our liking. It was spacious and there were little things here and there that made it cute, it is a cute looking, quaint room. I liked that there is this little part of the room, where there is a wardrobe and drawers, it had a full length mirror, and opposite the drawers there is a little cushioned bench and above that is a window that opens inwards. Also by the bed there is a door which opened inwards to a tiny balcony, you could step out a little and see the tiny streets, it was beautiful. The kitchen is nicely tucked away, with all the appliances you need in a kitchen. The bathroom is lovely, it had shower gel and shampoo. Part of the experience in Portugal was the accommodation, staying at Cafofos da Zeta completed our holiday. It was nice to return back after a long day to a nice homely room, it was comfy and cosy, the place was lovely and it had everything you need. So thank you Liseta for making our stay in Setúbal, a great experience.

The first time we walked in this apartment, we immediately fell in love and couldn’t control our excitement. I found this place to be very clean, spacious and comfortable. You won’t even spot a dust in this apartment. The bathroom and shower was excellent. It was very tidy and got everything you need. (blow dryer, toilet paper, shampoo, towels,etc.) The bed was so comfortable and the kitchen so convenient! The place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. The neighborhood outside the apartment had a lot of life within walking distances. However, it was very quiet when you were in the loft. You just have to walk a little to awesome cafes and shops! There is also a big grocery store nearby. Our Host was very nice, easy to talk to and very friendly when she welcomed us. We even had some problems because we had a delayed trip, but our host was so accomodating and instructed us what to do! I would definitely come again!

We had an amazing time in Setúbal and we really enjoyed staying at Cafofos da Zeta. The room was beautiful, super clean and comfortable.. The building is in the most perfect location right in the centre of Setúbal. I'd recommend trying the brunch place just over the road for amazing healthy breakfast and lunch options. The host (Liseta) was a really lovely kind person who showed us round, gave us some great tips and was always available if we had any questions etc. This was our favourite place we stayed in all of Portugal and we would highly recommend staying here!

We were delighted to stay at Cafofos da Zeta for many reasons. The place was really cute, renovated, clean, with perfect location and extremely friendly and helpful host speaking perfect English. She gave us a lot of great recommendations regarding the area. Our room was quiet, sunny, with lots of useful stuff. We will definitely come back!

I have stayed 4 nights in room no5. The communication with the owner of the guest house Miguel is very good and he welcomed me at the entrance. Miguel gave me a good information about the building, it is a very old building but inside is decorated newly. The rooms are on the second floor. My room was very cozy and quiet. The room is very clean and the bed is very comfortable. There is no TV and AC but no needed. The WiFi works very well and fast. Even though the weather was hot, the fan quickly cooled the room. The bathroom is right accross the room, very modern and very clean. Since you have the key to the bathroom, it is only for you. Yes it would be better if it was in the room but it is not a big problem. There is soap in the bathroom, it would be better to bring your own shampoo with you. There is also no hair dryer. The location is perfect, 3 minutes walk to the port of setubal where you can easily travel to Troia by catamaran. 5 minutes walk to the main square and 1 minute to the famous choco frito restaurant. Thanks to Miguel for the moscatel wine and cookies. And finally, room no: 4 has a big refrigerator and other kitchen equipment that the guest can use.

The room was spacious, very clean, and had comfortable beds. Bathrooms were also spotless. The location felt safe and was just a 4–5 minute walk from the port, with several prime attractions nearby. Miguel, the owner, was extremely kind and helpful, making the stay even more pleasant and welcoming.

We loved your accomodations. Huge bed in a quiet spacious roomwith fresh air streaming through large french door with windows. That and the fan allowed us to sleep well all night. We especially enjoyed the shower and the overall cleanliness. And the complimentary Muscatel was the perfect exquisite touch. You have a special property and maintain it with a special flare. The room was huge with a terrace and 3 balconies. Very clean rooms with a microwave, refrigerator, toaster, Nespresso machine, dishes and cutlery. There is a separate room for a snack, relaxing and enjoying a drink. The location is in walking distance of shops and restaurants. Absolutely perfect and we will definitely return.

The host was great. She answered all of our questions and did it promptly even though we arrived later in the evening. This is a modern and clean apartment complex. There is a shared kitchen that is nice and clean and even has lockers. There is also a library, which is nice. The apartment is quiet and comfortable. The location is fine, it is a little ways from Lisbon, about 30-40 min drive, so commuting every day might be an issue, but we had a car, so it was not a problem for a couple of days. It could also be a great base if you would like to visit Algarve. Overall, happy with our stay. Will come again. Thank you.

Location was central in medieval town. Hotel was nice & clean. Room design was contemporary, a bit small but comfortable, good shower. Mini fridge & water bottles very convient. Request for coffee capsule refills was promptly done.

It was a great place and we booked it just to be close to the Lisboa, but we were suprised how much sightseeing's we have got. There was no breakfast during our stay in may, but this is not a problem. All rooms are with coffee machine and capsules. Market is a little bit down of the street and we bought some fruits and snacks. Somebody wrote about parking - no problem at all. Yes, there are very tight and old streets, but it depends on your skills to drive, just be prepared. Atmosphere of the city - is just wow. A nice restaurant is in the city with local fish. Rooms are super clean, nice bed, pillows.

We stayed three nights at this hotel that opened in 2017. Decorated with sport related items, it is modern and comfortable. Personnel are extremely nice and helpful and provide good information on area. Breakfasts are included and are delicious. Free parking in front of hotel. Located approximately three kms from downtown where there are plenty of restaurants. Only one restaurant is at walking distance from the hotel.

The hotel at first view doesn't look much, but actually we were impressed. The lady at reception was delightful and so helpful giving us lots of tips, plus a good restaurant at which to eat in Setubal. The room was lovely and quiet and the breakfast was fabulous. The pool is small but refreshing. It is only a 10 minutes drive to the centre and the receptionist was correct about the lovely seafood restaurant, which was fab (sorry have forgotten its name!).

Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. They took time to tell me the best places to visit, best restaurants etc and even invited for dinner. I can recommend staying in the hotel.

This little gem is both a fun place to stay but it also has the luxury of a great breakfast hosted by the owner and a heated pool outback. The brand new rooms are each named after a soccer great from Portugal. The service is top notch too. You should also have dinner down the street at the Brazilian all you can eat.

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. The location is ideal, right in the center. Spacious suite with tons of sunlight. The rooftop terrace is a major bonus with amazing views of the Sado river.

We stayed in the private room on the first floor with a private bath. Great location. The wonderful staff went out of their way to be helpful with suggestions and answering questions before and during our stay. We found them to be extremely customer focused. We were able to store our luggage after we checked out, so that we could spend the day enjoying the area. When we got back, we discovered that the staff had gone out of their way to purchase a couple of delicious local pastries for us to try while we waited for our taxi to the airport. Incredibly nice of them to do. A very pleasant experience and stay at the facility which we found had everything we needed. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable, the location was great, and we found it to be an excellent value for the location. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The hostel was a super charming building located in the middle of Setúbal. The staff was super helpful, and the room (biggest suite), was very spacious, full of light and clean. The roof top was very cute, and they had really planned for everything. They gave a lot of useful information about the area, tours, and very overall very helpful in a super friendly way. I would really recommend to stay here!

A HUGE thank you to Vitor and Theresa for being such lovely hosts; super attentive to the comfort and needs of their guests; so welcoming and kind! Our room was great with its private bathroom on the same floor... and a nice balcony to enjoy the sun, some peace and rest. We liked everything really! Starting with the wonderful welcome, the tips given about the best routes to reach the beach and other places of interest to the superb breakfast set in a beautiful room. Mr.Victor and Mrs. Teresa, his wife, were the perfect hosts. We really advise anyone to try this friendly and heart warming house.

This is an elaborately decorated (albeit dated) family home. The hosts spoke English and were very welcoming. The room had extras...like a bottle of wine, cookies, soft drinks, fruit etc. The breakfast was very generous with eggs to order. Very, comfortable bed, but with an external private bathroom. The room looks out over the pool. And there is secure, gated parking. One just needs to be careful as it is a split level house with 2 or 3 steps going from one area to another. The bathtub is also a step up to a platform and then a step down into the tub without hand holds. The house had an odor that reminded me of air freshener covering up stale cigarette smoke.

We had a great time at YMCA Alambre – the location is perfect for nature lovers! The campsite is nestled between beautiful hills and only a short drive from stunning beaches. It’s the ideal mix of mountains and sea. The bungalows were clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. We especially enjoyed the fresh and varied breakfast – a lovely way to start the day. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking to unwind in a natural setting with great access to both the coast and hiking trails.

The place ha a good position in Arrabina nature park. A plenty of parking lots at the front of the main building with a short distance to the cabins. There are also a few cabins out of the cabin village in the nature. The cabins are quite lightweight, so sounds easily come through the wall. If you are sensitive to small sounds, try to get a single cabin in the forest. We stayed one night at the end of June in the cabin village and there was no disturbing noise. The breakfast is good, porridge, fresh juice, yogurt and good coffee in the idyllic breakfast room. Extra bonus for us was to learn what means YMCA. I remember those letters only from the old Village People song. The association help young people and do other good things as well. It was told that now they are building homes for people who have fled war. We were happy to rent the cabin from them. We checked into our absolutely beautiful suite and were so happy with the accommodations. The room was clean, the staff was friendly (even though some didn't speak english). When the room booking said breakfast, we expected to see pastries and cereal. There was an actual buffet style hot breakfast. Eggs, Portugese chorizo, yougurt, cold cuts, cheeses, local jams, juice, and coffee/espresso. Each floor had a tea station. The wifi worked well. We had a wonderful terrace. The price was reasonable for what we had. No complaints from us.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They were young people which was quite refreshing. They were so willing to answer our questions and make suggestions. Parking was fabulous just outside the entrance. Breakfast was provided and it was fine with some decent choices. There was a elevator which made it easier with luggage. Good area and convenient walking to restaurants. Hotel room for 3 was very comfortable. Good in every way except the noise from repairs that were going on. Mercifully they stopped at dinner time. We would happily recommend (minus the noise).

All went perfectly well, the place is well located, in a quite street however close to the main city Avenue and pretty close to the railway and bus stations. Frankly, I did not expect such a nice room, every detail taken care of with good taste. Confortable bed, everything clean in a warm ambience. The breakfast also exceeded my expectations, again, everything taken care of with good taste. The day of your arrival you fill a "breakfast form" selecting the products you would like to see included in your breakfast, you also set your breakfast time and then the next day when you come to the breakfast patio, everything is there waiting for you at your table, the coffee just made, the milk warm and everything fresh, very nice indeed. The staff is simply amazing, always trying to do their best for a perfect stay. The Wifi also worked perfectly well, differently from any other wifi connection you might have in other similar places that is usually standard, here is better.

The room was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was very good. The building was very interesting. It’s an old building that is well maintained. The attached restaurant was very good with excellent staff. The restaurant’s owner/chef was very friendly and helpful. We liked Setúbal.

It is super clean and very quiet all you can hear at night are the crickets. Sleep like a baby. The rooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels. The owner is so friendly and make you feel like family

Nice room and comfortable bed. Insufficient sockets for charge phone etc No tea or coffee or cutlery in room. No breakfast facilities and no cafes or restaurants close by, only supermarket.

It was clean and quiet, except for the rooster waking up at 2 in the night but luckily it was somewhere far away and went quiet quickly. The bathroom was extraordinarily spacious. The big private parking is especially nice.

I think we stayed pre season but stay was really nice. Breakfast was good. Grounds manicured ... Lovely to sit around the pool. Room was fine and had a small balcony. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. 👍

It’s comfortable and has character. The location is also good, although not perfect. Beds were comfortable, there’s aircon, it’s not too noisy (apart from when the trains pass).

The room had a comfortable bed, mini refrigerator, wardrobe, air conditioner, and a balcony with a view of the water. There was also a washing machine on the 2nd floor. We arrived in Setubal hours earlier that the 16:00 check in time and the management team allowed us to leave our bags at their office, which was a short distance away.

Location was perfect for my purposes. I’m glad I did not rent car, because parking would have been very challenging around the house. Quiet at nights and air conditioning worked fine. Big bed and reasonably comfy pillows.

Most friendly host and staff, Antonio was extremely helpful and provided information for nearby beaches. There is a beautiful view of the town from the terrace and also a separate private terrace with a scenic view, definitely worth the cost of staying.

The donkeys, goat and chickens. The view out the back terrace was beautiful and quiet. The bed and linens were very nice and comfy. Great water pressure for shower.

It has an amazing view of the sea It is a gorgeous place to stay and the hostess was so helpful and friendly. We have made great meteorites and will return in the future.

It was one of the best apartments we have ever been to regarding its cleanliness and new renovated state. It was just absolutely perfect. The location is great, close to the ocean and to the fish market, also very central, since the central street is behind the building. The owners welcomed us with delicious strawberries and also allowed a bit earlier check-in, which we however did not use due to our train delay

The location of the property is great, close to everything by walking distance and in the center od the city. It’s very comfortable, clean, we had everything we needed. The host was very nice and kind. We had amazing few days and we deffinitely enjoyed our stay at the property.

Lovely apartment, exceptionally clean, great balcony very private fantastic views across the bay. Comfortable bed with quality linen. Friendly host very helpful, he had left a bottle of water and wine as a welcome gift in the fridge which was a lovely touch.

Our host Miguel was super nice and helpful, giving us many recommendations for places to visit in Setúbal. We got complimentary bottle of water and wine. 🫶🏻 The view from the balcony was amazing. Although, because it’s so close to the port, it was pretty loud from time to time there. Bathroom was fresh and clean, kitchen was full of different utensils, toasters and so on. We even had ice in the freezer:))

The apartment is very pleasant with a nice view of the river mouth. Close to downtown. Using the garage helps a lot because the area gets parked up with beach goers taking the ferry to the beach on the other side of the river.

In reality the apartment looks even better than on pictures. Design is very nice, there is everything you may need during your stay, every detail is well thought. Terrace with a view is amazing! The host is very welcoming! Location is superb too!

I recently stayed in an apartment that exceeded all my expectations, offering a perfect blend of convenience, cleanliness, and comfort. Moreover, it was equipped with everything needed for a several-week stay, from a fully functional kitchen with all the necessary appliances and utensils to a comfortable living area, reliable Wi-Fi. These amenities made my stay not only comfortable but also very convenient, as I could easily prepare meals, work remotely, and take care of laundry without any hassle.

Comfortable, stylish, original and practical. We had lots of space for our things. Wonderful location, close to bus stops, historical center, scenic avenue, police station and an amazing fresh seafood, fish and produce market. Host communicated the most important information before arrival, so we didn't have to ask any basic questions and he was helpful and responded immediately whenever we needed helps

We stayed here for a month and loved it. It’s a beautiful flat with a great design, very comfortable and right in the center of Setúbal. We had a cleaner coming every week which was great. It’s a perfect option if you’re looking to stay outside of Lisbon and closer to the beach. There’s a boat that can take you straight to Troia. The owner was very kind and super responsive (that’s a big plus).
