Room was very nice, spacious and well appointed, loft bedroom and foldout sofa a plus. Staff was friendly and breakfast buffet was quite good and really worth it as there aren't too many other places to get breakfast. Location was good for our purposes, and value was great for the price. Highly recommend and hope to come back again.

Property was amazing. These are small villas with spacious rooms. I have to say, normally the rooms are smaller, but these rooms were of perfect size and had all the amenities. There was parking space too in the property.

Close to city center with parking space in front of the room. You can do self check-in without problem. Rooms are big and clean. Also the bathroom is good. Breakfast perfect and full all sweet and continental goods. You can rent bike direct on the motel and it's a good way to visit Skagen town and the sorrounding places with a lot of cycle path also in the bush and near dunes. .

Very Great and helpful service with good facilities including parking with a well asorted breakfast.

We loved Henry, who prepared the wonderful breakfast buffet every morning. And he spent a lot of time talking to us and helping us feel welcome. He is a gem! We also loved the wellness center. We were able to use the sauna and jacuzzi, which were amazing!

Very friendly and helpful owners, gave us loads of information on the local area. The apartment was really spacious and attractive and had everything we needed. Beds exceptionally comfortable. Garden area lovely and the breakfast and the jacuzzi/sauna were real highlights. Very much wish we had stayed longer!

Lovely grouping of apartments, with delightful terrace and jacuzzi area. Easy free parking. The place runs entirely without involvement of a person (lots of instructions and codes for entering, etc. I don't really like that kind of cold hospitality. I happen to catch the owner, who helped me "check in" and answered questions. To be honest, that makes all the difference, in my opinion. Yes, we all have google. But being able to talk to someone is so much nicer.

Perfect location (close to the train station), perfect place to stay if you´re looking for some affordable accomodation. Low prices meant changing bedlinen by myself and having shower and toilet not in the room itself - but as everything was clean and comfy that was fine too. The place works with self check-in and check-out. As I had breakfast, I had the chance to chat with the owner, who was very helpful and nice to talk with. Bonus: A big terrace/garden, which I didn´t use in October, but which looked very inviting ;-) If I ever go to Skagen again, I will definitely stay at Toftegarden Guesthouse again!

We had an excellent 2 night stay at Hotel Marie. Great location, very nice, clean, comfortable and charming room with a nice balcony. The hotel common areas were very nice, updated and clean with a great morning breakfast and a lovely interior garden. We were extremely happy with our stay here. We would go back often if we weren’t from the U.S.

We arrived late in the evening after an afternoon ferry and train trip. Self check-in was no issue to organise and there was an honesty system for a couple of well needed beverages from the hotel bar. Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast delicious. Beautiful little hotel in the gorgeous town of Skagen.

Location - shops / restaurants nearby and just a 3km gentle bike ride ( mostly bike track and quiet roads) to grenen. Bike hire was available from the hotel. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Able to use the lobby at night with an ‘honesty list’ for drinks and snacks. Large 2 bed apartment with very comfortable beds.

Bright, clean, airy, and spacious - having many windows in the room was nice. Lots of space for storage of luggage or for longer stays. The balcony with seating was good. Lots of seating area to lounge on and beds were comfortable. Great location - walking distance to sights, restaurants and shops. Had ample parking spots.

we booked a "Double Room with Balcony or Terrace" and we may have been upgraded as our room was a little appartment, wiht 2 bedrooms and a living room+kitchen + dining corner and a balcony. Everything was very clean, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good, with fresh food and fruit, a lot of choice. And the person at the reception was very kind and helpful. Possibility to park the car at the hotel (but not many park lots), or in the street just in front of the hotel (what we did very easily). Even if the hotel is not in the city center, it is at walking distance of the places of interest in Skagen city center.

Great experience all around! Plenty of free underground parking was the start. Friendly staff and a recommendation for their Fish restaurant during check in. The room was cozy and well kept. Bed was comfortable with soft linens and warm blankets. The breakfast was beyond what was expected and I’ll be dreaming about it for a long time (see photo). So many fresh and well thought out items. Overall, a great experience.

Superb hotel within close walking distance of town, museums and harbour. Clean styling and spotless, friendly staff and tasty breakfast buffet. Plenty of underground parking.

I loved the way they maintained the rooms. Cleanliness and service was very good. They have separate buildings for stay, kind of heritage ones and well kept but was a bit away from the main hotel. However, that's compensated with the good breakfast buffet and the restaurant serves amazing food! Had my Easter dinner and tried Oyster for the first time.. and went pretty well :) Staff is very friendly and hospitable. Peaceful lounge area to sit and read/work. And the location is very close to the city centre. Oh ya and the beach is round the corner about 1 km, so very convenient. Just that they don't have room service, so need to plan your meals or last min cravings and hunger well ahead. Otherwise had very peaceful, relaxed and a very happy stay! Thanks <3

Breakfast was good, appreciated the fresh fruit and vegetables, on our 3 days of stay we ate breakfast in both breakfast restaurants and the garden. Staff very cheerful and very friendly and helpful

The room was super cute and bed was very comfortable and clean. It was handy having my own sink in the room since the bathrooms are shared. The parking was convenient to the main entrance and the beach wasn't far away. Dinner and Breakfast were both excellent. I hadn't had such good pastry since leaving København.

This is the third time I'm staying at Brøndums Hotel (main building) and while they have made some minor changes like renovate the bathrooms and showers they've retained the same atmosphere in a very nice way. The staff is very professional and helpful, the restaurant is high class and the food (especially the seafood) is amazing. Rooms (in the main building) are small with the bare necessities, but clean and tidy. I can't recommend it enough.

The famous hotel lives up to its reputation. A delicious dinner served in a beautiful dining room filled with art and flowers. Even the room in the annex - a large traditional building overlooking the docks was charming and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Service at table excellent.

Eventhough there was one part of the hotel in the process of being renovated it was clean and quiet.

It was centrally located, close to the railway station. Clean, quiet and efficient. The bed was comfortable and bathroom , modern and clean. Nice window view.

The breakfast was really good and the service was excellent. Very good staff, nice design on the property. Very proper and clean. Nice balcony with view over the lawned yard of the property. A modern, clean and well designed bathroom. Comfortable beds and a well designed, fresh and good looking room. Short walking distance from the Skagen museum and many good restaurants. Free parking. The restaurant was not open in September, but there was coffee, cake and tapas on offer. Good coffee and cake in the afternoon. We did not taste the tapas and wine, but I am sure they are good as well.

The Hotel Strandly is one of the friendliest places we have ever stayed. The owner & his wife gave personalized suggestions for restaurants and activities & went out of their way to ensure we were happy with everything. We did experience some noise from the neighboring room but everyone nicely observed quiet hours after 10 pm. Breakfast was a lavish & delicious buffet of fresh foods, with tea, juices & coffee. The owner also mixed great afternoon cocktails. The hotel was within walking distance of shops, restaurants & tourist attractions. Other locations were only short drives away. The hotel also had a good supply of rental bikes. We loved our 5 day stay in Skagen & would highly recommend the Hotel Strandly.

Staying at the Strandly Hotel was the highlight of our visit in Denmark! Our room was beautiful, open and bright and clean Thomas and Didde were so welcoming! They have a lovely hotel with such charm. Every morning we came down stairs to a delicious breakfast of fresh breads, cheeses, fruits , yogurts, sliced meats , eggs and so much more. They had teas , coffe and juices. We were thrilled. Throughout the day you could order sodas , coffees and wines and other spirits at cocktail hour. The location is perfect , easy to walk into the charming town and across the street from their beautiful beaches. Thank you so much for our beautiful weeks stay. Although the United States is far away, we hope we can return to Skagen and the Strandly hotel soon. Thank you again Thomas and Didde for making our visit so memorable. 🙌🙌

Painted in the typical yellow of Skagen, the hotel is located a little outside the main town with parking areas. Very easy to walk to town from the hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile, and a room upgrade. Room 2 is at the front of the hotel, with a small balcony and looked brand new. The bed was very comfortable, the styling coastal and Scandi. Very quiet at night. Breakfast was excellent, lots of quality fresh choices, plenty of hot tea and coffee. We stayed two nights, and felt more like we were staying with family, than a hotel. We especially loved having our breakfast in the sunny dining room that still features original paintings.

The Hotel Strandly Skagen suited us well, as we were travelling around Denmark by train and it was a short walk from the station. It is situated in the town, close to shops, supermarkets and restaurants, as well the museum and other tourist attractions. The hotel is a wonderful family-run hotel. We had a lovely welcome when we arrived. The room itself was a good size and very comfortable. The bed was so amazingly comfortable and we slept extremely well during our whole stay. The owner, Didde, is a brilliant host and obviously trains her team well, as they were helpful and polite. You really sense they want to make your stay special. Didde went out of her way to help us when we rented two of their bikes, which was so nice, since we hadn’t ridden a bike for years. The day we left, we had to leave before breakfast began, but Didde had requested her team to prepare breakfast trays for us to pick up and take to our room. The staff really could not have done more for us. We would love to return to the Hotel Strandly Skagen at some time in the future. Thank you all for a fabulous few days in Skagen.

This place was super cosy. It is not a luxurious hotel, but it was nice and clean and the staff were super friendly. I recommend having at the restaurant, but try to book in advance.

Very centrally located. We had corner room with view onto the central part of the city. Breakfast was very good. Free parking right on property.

The breakfast was good the location perfect for train travelers, perfect walking lost.

Folden is very central located in Skagen, our room in 3rd floor was a little bit small, but still ok. We arrived 1 hour prior to check-in, but friendly staff checked the room and gave us the key. The light evening meal in the restaurant was larger than expected and tasted gorgeous.

We had a wonderful stay at the resort. The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with all necessary kitchenware and appliances. The resort had a great family-friendly atmosphere with a relaxed holiday vibe. A range of indoor and outdoor activities, included in the stay, added to the enjoyment—especially the nightly badminton games for us. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location next to Hulsig station with an EV charging spot was convenient. Overall, it was a perfect spot for a family holiday, close to the beach and surrounded by nature. We’d gladly return and definitely recommend it.

Perfect for children — there is an excellent playground and an inflatable jumping pillow that adults can also enjoy. Clean, well-maintained, and peaceful.

There were many school trips that week so we got an upgrade to one of the nicest house, which was very comfy, and with a fully stacked kitchen. All was clean and practical. The price we paid would have been excessive for the house I initially booked, but felt right for the comfy house.

It was clean and spacious. Children loved the top room. As it was 0C when we arrived the house was warm and it was so nice and thoughtful. The facilities are incredible, the swimming pool, sauna , steam rooms we all loved it. Children also enjoyed the bauble trampoline and table tennis . In summer , it must be a haven place for children. They both want to come back again.

The apartment is close to the center, and the harbour with sea food restaurants are within 6-7 minutes’ walk. Our host Søren is super thoughtful. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and recommend the apartment.

This was a delightful hotel. It's a small hotel with less than a dozen rooms, but it was very attractive and well maintained. The staff was very nice and the included breakfast delicious. Because it was the off-season, the restaurant was not open, and reception closed at 6:00 p.m..

We wanted to find a hotel close to Skagen that we could stay with a dog. It was an excellent stay for us, Lots of close walks, beach and the forest in which the dog could run. There was a train stop right outside the hotel, perfect for the short trip into Skagen, which had lots of shops, bars and restaurants. The actual hotel was very suitable for families with children, it reminded of an older English holiday camp set up with play areas, inside pool, small golf area etc, with the accommodation in rows of chalets. Not luxurious, but perfectly clean. All in all, just what we needed for a long weekend.

The villa was super clean and well equipped, lots of activity to do and the beach was 20 minutes walk from the grounds. Everything looks just like the pictures on the site and nothing out of place. With Skagen 15 minutes away via car there are lots of eateries there if you don’t feel like cooking yourself of eating at restaurants onsite. Remember to check what is provided and what you need to bring yourself.

Nice vacation for family with possibility for many activities. Clean and comfortable houses, all necessary kitchen things in place. If no mood for cooking, we highly recommend local restaurant. ☺️

Skagen strand hotel was the perfect place for a group of friends to stay. We each had our own single beds and the property included a fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom, patio, and living room. It was very comfortable and were lucky to have booked out stay here.

Bra sted med fine feriehus. God standard med det meste en trenger av utstyr. Gode senger og stille. Greit å parkere på området. Stort og flott uteområde. Kort vei til Råbjerg Mile og Skagen. Bra restaurant med mulighet for å kjøpe ferskt brød og rundstykker. Servicen i resepsjonen kunne vært bedre. Fikk ikke svar på det vi spurte om ved et par anledninger. Virket tverre, men ellers ok.

Very cozy and comfortable stay. The hotel is located very close to trainstation, shopping and restaurants. Staff is friendly and very helpful :) room was nice and clean and supplied with everything you need! We really enjoyed having a little kitchen!

Staff was great and accommodating for our late arrival time. The downstairs floors are pet friendly, also a plus for our family. Rooms have everything you need but it is self catering so just know that you have to make the beds and clean up after you leave. Rooms are a little small if you’re planning on bringing a full size suitcase it will be hard to leave open on the floor. But you can unpack and put the suitcase in a corner. Large bathroom, couldn’t hear neighbors, hot shower with good water pressure, walkable into town.

Enjoyed my stay in the hotel even though I only stayed for one night. The room is very clean and comfortable with all the necessary facilities. The hotel keeper is very kind and gave me very helpful suggestions in walking around in Skagen.

Quick and pleasant check-in. The apartment is well equipped and big enough for 2 and the location is perfect for walks on the huge beach or in the charming town. Highly recommended.

We were only Skagen for a night but had an amazing stay - really comfortable apartments in a great location. We will be back again - hopefully soon!

Peaceful, quiet and charming. The staff was so helpful, friendly, and well organized. Service at the restaurant was excellent. Just about an eight-minute walk to a beautiful sandy beach.

Beautiful quiet location, where one can really relax and sleep well. The rooms were in the authentic spirit and style of the area, which I loved. The restaurant was great as well - for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff was exceptionally kind and professional, more than anywhere else I have been.

We have loved absolutely everything about our stay at Hjorths Badehotel. The staff are so attentive (especially the hotel manager Jette), always making sure that we were doing alright and had everything we needed for our stay. The hotel is very cozy and in an awesome location allowing for nature walks all around. It has a great restaurant too! Would 100% recommend if going to this part of Denmark and looking for a quiet getaway.

This is a beautiful accommodation surrounded by breathtaking nature. It is close to Skagen and they welcome dogs. The breakfast was superb as well as their gin and tonics :) The rooms were nice and the beds comfortable. l I had some last-minute requests and the hotel staff was very helpful to solve them for me instantly.

Skagen is very popular during summer and understandably so, but out of season too it can be enjoyable, yet cold to see the yellow houses, the sandy beaches and feel the fresh sea air. This apartment is extremely well located right in the town centre and with free parking right outside. Two big positives. It's clean and new, decorated in the Scandinavian minimalist style. Would happily choose this place to stay if I go again.

Ours was a spacious apartment on one of the cosy streets of Skagen. It had a huge lounge/kitchen, with cosy and stylish bedrooms attached to it. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped. The harbour, with its fish restaurants, is just a few minutes away. A grocery store (Lidl) is nearby. We really loved the terras with a glimpse of the sea in the view - a perfect place to enjoy your coffee.

Great and central space in a beautiful neighbourhood. Perfect for. One night stay as we wanted to visit Grenen & Råbjerg Mile. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, very fast with answering any open questions.

We only stayed here for one night but would have totally liked to stay longer. The place is very nice, clean and well maintained. Also the communication before and during our stay was very friendly and went smoothly. Thank you very much for a short but lovely stay!

Conveniently located in Skagen, close to the center / harbor area but also to a big supermarket. The room was spacious and the shared facilities (bathroom, kitchen) were nice and clean. There’s a free parking place if you’re traveling by car. The guy in charge for the check-in was helpful and communication before the check-in was smooth and easy.

A traditional house, centered in the village, modernised into safe spacious appartments accessible over a steady wide external staircase. We were lucky to have the top and could overlook the entire village.

Perfect location. It is close to all nice restaurants and supermarkets. Also, apartment is equipped with everything you need for a short stay.

I had a great stay at this accommodation, the staff at the main hotel were really friendly and helpful. It's a self-catering apartment, but you can tell that it's run by a hotel. The bed and bathroom were perfect, 4* hotel quality!! I did not really use the kitchen, but it had everything you need to cook for yourself. I only had a small bag, but if you have a lot of luggage. You might struggle to find space for it, the bed takes most of the space in the room.

Good location, appreciated the outdoor seating. Studio apartment was fine but very small. Another time, I would ask for a unit on the ground floor, to save having to carry luggage upstairs. No contact with staff, except for seeing chambermaids go in to clean next door when it was vacated, they sermed friendly.

Very clean, bed linens and towels are provided. The bed was comfortable. The location is very good. There are grocery stores near by.

Location was perfect. Good walking distance to most places. Kitchen was a plus since all the restaurants were fully booked.

The kitchen is convenient for cooking noodles；Bicycle rental service available. Since there are no other tenants in the building, it is very convenient to use the public facilities, so I feel very comfortable staying there.

Very comfortable and clean, with a well equipped kitchen. Jan and Suzanne were both very pleasant and extremely helpful…a delightful couple.

Susanne is friendly, helpful and excellent at keeping things clean and tidy. The mattresses, pillows and duvets were angelic in quality.

Nice room with shared bathroom and kitchen. We were the only people staying there so didn't have to worry about sharing space. The room set up is nice though. The kitchen has everything needed if you want to use it. The bathroom was clean and modern and large-plenty of room to move about. The owner is very nice and helpful. We were able to rent bikes from the owner which was a fabulous way to get around to all the sites in Skagen.

This was an older building apartment. Fresh bedding was on the bed, to make it ourselves (it was rather difficult to lift the mattress). The bed was very comfortable. Full size refrigerator with freezer. I called prior to check-in and was told to go in, where the key was, and where to park. The view was the best part! There was a deck, and we could see the harbor and the cruise ship. IT was an easy walk to restaurants and shopping.

The view from the balcony, the cleanliness, the host, the easiest key pick up, the location, the quiet atmosphere, the free parking spot.

Upon arrival we called the number and someone told us where the keys were etc , very efficient. The two bedroom apartment was clean tidy and a nice place to stay. Nice kitchen which has everything you need Nice bathroom , shower Comfortable beds but would like a darker room in the night with only blinds for the windows. Very close to town and the harbour I would stay here again

Vi var 6 jenter som bodde i en stor leilighet med 3 soverom. Leiligheten var tipp-topp! Alt av utsyr til kjøkken og bad. Perfekt beliggenhet midt i Skagen og i gangavstand til det meste. Noe lytt mellom etagene, men dette er et helt optimalt bosted Innsjekk pr telefon og utsjekk skjedde automatisk. Helt genialt Vi var alle enige om at vi ønsker å komme tilbake. Gjerne på sommerferie med familiene våre. Anbefales!

Vi var en venninne gjeng på sykkeltur til Skagen. Og for en flott leilighet. 3 store soverom og bad med dusj, vaskemaskin i 2 etg. I første etg var det stue med tv, cd spiller. Kjøkkenet var utrolig godt utstyrt . Manglet ingenting. Rent og fint. Fin uteplass med komfortable møbler. Leiligheten lå noen få hundre meter fra gågaten. Vi stortrivdes og vil gjerne komme igjen.

Meg og noen venner var her fra fredag til søndag og vi kunne ikke vært mer fornøyde med oppholdet. leiligheten overgikk alles forventninger, den var nyoppusset, ren og hadde alt vi trengte og mer til. Vi anbefaler denne plassen på det sterkeste og kommer garantert tilbake hit igjen.

Denne leiligheten var nyoppusset, lekkert og praktisk innredet, musikk anlegg og tilgang til internett. I tilegg var sengene nye og komfortable , god plass på soverommene med skap på hvert rom, velutstyrt kjøkken og super beliggenhet rett ved togstasjonen og sykkelutleie og nærme Brøndums og Museet.

The manager at reception was very helpful and very nice, she was responsive to our requests and helped with advice about the Skagen area. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of choices. The apartment had everything we needed and having 1 and a half bathrooms was great for 3 people.

I fell in love with the well maintained garden and the beautiful pond with loads of fishes! Everything looked like a picture, plenty of sitting arrangements to enjoy breakfast/afternoon coffee in the garden. 3. Facilities are great. Kitchen is well equipped, well maintained, neat and tidy. Plenty of cups-glasses-plates available. Big Refrigerator inside which was also very clean. Check-in was fast and effortless… same for check out.. we kept our luggages for 4 hours

The fact that we booked the top room with space and great views! Rest of the inn lacks space but not character! Shared bathrooms & shower clean.

Staff and location were amazing. Due to the prime location, the young crowd in week 29 were enjoying themselves into the wee hours, and were happily camped outside our window. Once I closed the window, the noise was greatly diminished. Having spent time at music festivals, we had some hacks to help. 😃. We loved our stay.

The owner rents out several rooms in the house, creating a social atmosphere. The shared kitchen is well-equipped and perfect even for cooking small meals. I especially loved the garden – beautifully decorated and a lovely place to relax. The location is excellent: just a 5-minute walk to the dock, and there are several bike rentals right across the street, which makes exploring the area very easy.

We stayed in a 6-person cabin with 6 people and a dog. It was clean and comfy, though a little on the small side for 6 people. I think it's perfect for a group of 4. The campsite has amazing facilities for children. Helpful staff, late check in was a breeze.

The cabins are perfect. Clean, nice and big enough to be comfortable even on a rainy day. The area is well worth the trip. The Rabjerg Mile is impressive and fun, and Grenen is a must see.

Perfect camping spot for families.. indoor pool, minigolf and nice playground. Also has a minimarket. Very nice calm location. Friendly staff. But do not forget to bring your own bedsheets and towels otherwise you need to pay extra.

This is a perfect spot. Clean, well organised and with nice surroundings. Perfect spot to hike to Rabjerg Mile. Everything was great. Hope to come back one day.

The staff was amazing and super friendly! we stayed in a room with two bunk beds, you could turn the bottom bunk into a double bed which was super nice. There was also a communal kitchen and fridge and common room. The breakfast buffet was pretty good and had a variety of foods, definitely something there for everyone. They also watched our bags for us for the afternoon while we did a small day trip which was super helpful! The property is also a short walk away from grocery stores and the ocean.

Location, space and coziness. Great breakfast, friendly staff.

We were late for breakfast and still she baked more bread for us :) And even the shared bathrooms very good

wonderful hostel!!! great location, good facilities, friendly staff. We spent two nights in a room with a bathroom in an annex building. The children were happy about the opportunity to play football and basketball! Will definitely come back!

Breakfast at the hotel was excellent, and was just a short walk away. A fantastic location for exploring the area.

Dejlig central beliggenhed, lidt larm fra havnen, men det var at forvente. Dejligt rumlig værelse, skønt med elkedel og køleskab når man har baby med. Dog larmer køleskabet rimelig meget. Sødt personale i receptionen og søde rengørings personale. Alt i alt en dejlig oplevelse.

Fint og rent værelse lige i centrum. God morgenmads buffet på Skagen hotel 5 min. gang fra annexet.

Very close to the bus station for buses connecting other cities. Owner was gracious to allow for us to leave our luggages until the bus arrived.
