Excellent place to stay. Convenient, clean, comfortable. Delores is wonderful, so helpful, so kind. Byron is always friendly and always wears a smile. So polite and always as, if everything is ok, do you need anything. All around excellent!!

Had a overnight stay here en route to Michigan, from oklahoma. Easy check in, helpful staff and clean room. Chef Heather really made the stay special with amazing breakfast and her claim to fame spinach quiche. I would highly recommend anyone looking to stay in the area.

This is a clean, comfortable motel located near lots of shopping and dining options. It's right off the interstate, easy to find. Our room was a bit small, but very comfortable, one of the most comfortable motel beds I've ever slept in.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel had been renovated recently and was very clean. The location was very close to restaurants and stores if you forgot anything you need while traveling.

Front desk was very friendly both when checking in and later making small purchases. The morning breakfast individual was equally friendly and helpful.

Loved it! Super clean and spacious. The location was perfect too. Close to I-5 yet far away enough for a nice quiet night. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. Good value hotel just off the interstate with several restaurants in walking distance. Spacious clean and comfortable rooms. Spotless modern laundry. Special mention to "Eric" on check-in, he went to the trouble of going to check that our room was ready when we arrived early. He also found us some scissors.

The staff that checked us in was very friendly and courteous. Our room was clean and spacious. The only complaints we had was that it would have been nice to have a counter in the bathroom (but that was certainly not a deal breaker) and it would have really nice if they offered breakfast instead of just fruit and coffee. Overall, our stay was very nice.

My room was clean and comfortable, the hallways were spotless and smelled wonderful. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. There was some sort of issue with the cash registers at the coffee shop/breakfast bar but they were so sweet about it and made accommodations, and made sure everyone was taken care of. The girls serving breakfast ensured everything was fresh and it was all delicious!

it was massive - slightly out of town but not too far. The staff were so welcoming- and the facilities were amazing . it was clean and well maintained.

The location was perfect for our stay. The room was very quiet and could not hear any noises outside of room. Beds were very cozy and comfortable.

Check in was an easy and pleasant experience. Rooms were clean and easily accessible. Close to restaurants and event we were attending. Like the bar onsite.

I really loved the area around this property, lots of food to eat, multiple shopping areas, movie theatre and dispensary all in walking distance! However the few things I didnt liken was the fact that the pool was a bit small for my liking, and the hot tub wasnt functioning at the time of my stay, and paying for breakfast $15 breakfast bar, but everything was average at best, a little better than most free breakfast, but if paying money for breakfast I'd expect it to be a lot better than it was, dinner menu was great though, a bit pricey, but well worth it.

I was not prepared for how overall bad Springfield looks. I did not feel safe in the downtown area so I was really glad my daughter and I stayed at this property away from downtown. I felt safe and the property is well-staffed, clean and bright. We were there for a sports tournament that was held downtown so we were only 10 minutes away from downtown. The staff is well-trained and helpful. We got a great restaurant recommendation right down the street.

Nice hotel, fair price. The receptionist was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Wait staff at breakfast was slow and a bit frosty, but the food was good. (Be aware that even with a voucher, breakfast is not "free". You're expected to pay for tax and tip, and there could be other cost depending on what you eat/order.)

Convenient to our travel route. Safe neighborhood with good parking. Clean and well kept. Breakfast offers too expensive.

Springfield was very quiet no one around and no shops or restaurants open (that we could see). We found it eerie. The only place we could find open was an Irish bar….apart from the name nothing was Irish, we ate in the hotel bar, service was quick and friendly the food was okay. The hotel was okay asa transit hotel but for us we wouldn’t come back to Springfield (sorry)

I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Lincoln Museum, Library and home. The hotel was clean and welcoming. Our room was comfortable with a very nice. The bathroom was great, as well as the shower, good water pressure. The bed was very comfortable. My only complaint was the restaurant, the menu for breakfast, and dinner was not to our liking, and the food was just okay.

This hotel isn’t the most modern of places. But it’s comfortable with spacious rooms. Location is great if you’re looking for Abraham Lincoln’s home and Presidential Museum/Library. These are within a few minutes walking distance. Lincoln’s Tomb is further away. I took an Uber there but walked back (took about 40 minutes). There are no grocery stores in the downtown area. So you’ll have to rely on the hotel mini-mart or go further afield. About 20 minutes away on foot is a large supermarket and CVS. Restaurant had a decent offering. I had the Horseshoe. It was HUGE. And delicious. A thank you goes out to Alex at Reception. He was unable to help with an issue when I phoned just before checking in. So he gave a complimentary breakfast voucher to make up for it. I thought that was excellent. I didn’t like the shower in the bathroom. It was pretty poor. Also the pool was closed for maintenance.

Stayed here 3 nights for a conference next door at the BOS so can't beat the location. Self parking garage attached. I was permitted to check in early which was appreciated and check in was quick and friendly. King sized bed and bedding was so comfortable and the room was large. Not sure if I was upgraded but I did have a fridge which I hadn't been expecting with the room I booked. No issue with the elevators as others had reported even though it appears they haven't been updated yet. Walking distance to many Lincoln sites, the Capitol etc. and some shopping and dining although unfortunately, the downtown area is looking rough. All the carpeting in the hallways needs to be replaced but that's a minor issue-my room was clean and fresh looking. I did not utilize the restaurant, lounge, pool or fitness area.

Excellent location if you want to visit Abraham Lincoln’s house and Presidential Museum. It’s a 40-or-so minute walk from Lincoln’s Tomb. I took an Uber there but walked back. Room was spacious and comfortable. Evening meal in the restaurant was delicious. Alex at Reception gave me a complimentary breakfast voucher after being unable to assist with an issue prior to check-in. Excellent customer service, that. I’ve read comments about crime in the area. I saw no signs of it. Felt perfectly safe at all times.

Great breakfast serving eggs, biscuits & gravy, multiple fresh berries plus melon, yogurt, red velvet & regular waffles, cooked oatmeal, fresh spinach, tomatoes, cheese etc. Coffee available 24/7 with multiple creamers and flavorings, even a “self-pour” beer option. Basketball court, outdoor gas grills and gas fire pit with multiple tables available. A great place to make your home away from home while visiting the Springfield area. Will def pin this place for return trips.

As a female traveling solo, I felt very safe. I stayed 2 week nights, and the hotel was quiet. I know there were guests in the adjacent room, but I never heard them. The walls are solid. I liked that the heater fan ran continuously, not turning off and on in the night. The mattress was very comfortable. Everything was clean and smelled fresh. The vanity/sink is separate from the bathroom, which I like when traveling with family. Breakfast was good. Front desk was friendly. I expect to stay here again.

My daughter had a little Birthday Party at the hotel. The pool was nice and clean, as well as the area around the pool. We had a 2 bed-one bedroom suite. The kitchen was the perfect size, the bedroom was amazing for the girls, and the living room area was great for me. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean and the kitchen was clean. My daughter plays in competitive sports and occasionally we travel. This is probably one of the cleanest rooms we have stayed in. The guys at the front desk were very nice. I would stay there again!

This place is Convenient, to get to. There is Restaurants and Groceries Near By. There is Plenty of Wide Parking Spaces, ( even with a Pull Behind Trailer). There is Larger Lots Nearby. The Front Desk, Staff,Brooke and Heidi, are very Nice and Helpful. Breakfast is served Early, by Darren. The Rooms and Hallways are Clean and Comfortable. The Bed and Pillows Sleep Good

Very clean and comfortable and easy access from the Amtrak and the capitol. Room felt fresh and the staff is very kind and helpful. I was able to print a few things as well. The building is old like everything around here but very comfortable

Really great stay here. The manager/owner went above and beyond multiple times to make my time in Springfield pleasant and comfortable. Took a star off because it’s an older property that is in need of renovating (shower curtain rod was broken, bathroom walls were peeling, not enough outlets near bed), but there was evidence that they have started that process and the room seemed clean. Some noise from the train, but the AC fan drowned out most other noise. Walkable area that suited my needs with excellent service.

The property is under new management very quiet and clean. Need updating, hopefully the new ownership will make that happen sooner rather than later. Overall I was comfortable, rates were very reasonable I must say. Will stay again

Excellent room, loved the jacuzzi tub and separate double head walk in shower. Excellent king sized bed and room. Great breakfast, wish it time frame was longer than 1.5 hours. Only gave 4/5 stars for area around property due to train horn during sleeping time, though the tracks were blocks away.

It has so much history and charm! Our room was a good size and had a comfortable bed but my favourite thing was the old school jacuzzi! Couldn’t get me out!!! The staff were also wonderful and cooked breakfast for us the next morning.

A classical old place to stay that was very clean. Excellent parking and easy entry. Awesome jacuzzi bathtub and built in elevator a great advantage. The one suggestion I have is more counter space near small sink in the bathroom (in the "Hyacinth" room).

What a quaint Inn! Our Innkeeper Carrie was lovely and her basket of chocolate chunk cookies for a bed snack were divine! Breakfast was yummy! Enjoyed our Magnolia room with six pillows a king size comfy bed and big jacuzzi tube! Charmed!

Very nice museum-hotel of the Route 66. A must see hotel: it was incredible the collection of items from the route they have in the hotel's hall and in the corridors. Very big room and comfortable bed. The jacuzzi was very good and relaxing. There was a really huge TV in the suite.

Beautifully appointed room on an historic house. Roomy, kitchen and jacuzzi. Also a garden where one can eat. It’s possible to walk to the Lincoln attractions, although one should only walk during daylight.

We didn't have breakfast,; we needed to leave early morning. The location was great for visiting Springfield & our room was perfect; very clean, comfortable, and lovely furnishings. We loved the bathroom, too! Great shower, unfortunately not enough time to try the jacuzzi tub. Next time. We live in an urban setting, and the peacefulness of the room and the pretty grounds was just what we needed.

This is a gem of a property. The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The balcony was lovely to sit and have a coffee. The instructions to get into and out of the house were easy to follow.

We went to Springfield to get away for a weekend. The Ramada was comfortable, the bed was great. We stayed in a jacuzzi suite with king size bed. The TVs have cable, if you have a firestick, take it with you for your shows. The jacuzzi was great, it was clean, worked well, and the water was as hot or as cold as you wanted it to be. It’s close to a lot of restaurants and stores, also right next to the highway. We had some issues with the toilet. The breakfast was simple, but it was as good as a hotel breakfast gets. They have cereals, breads, waffles, milk, eggs, juice, and a few other things. Overall, it is a decent price for a good stay. I would go back again.

The shallow pool and the hotub/spa were perfectly clean, a warm temperature for the winter months and amazing for my smaller children and family. The breakfast was also amazing. The room we stayed in was a sweet with a separate room for my infant child and wife to sleep in separately to not be interrupted.

This hotel is right on the southern approach to Springfield, Illinois on historic Rt 66 and near some historic Route 66 restaurants. The staff was friendly on check in and the next day, offering suggestions about parking in the city. Breakfast was Excellent both days with real scrambled eggs, different flavors for the waffle maker, different types of breads for toast, multiple juice options, other breakfast items, and a refreshing jug of lemon water in the lobby. The room was comfortable and overlooked the front parking lot where my car was. I was able to open a window for fresh air instead of A/C which I prefer. I think I got an accessible room, because the bathroom was Very large and spacious with bars on all walls and items set lower. At check out, there were two sheriff vehicles out front, but not for a bad reason. They were having breakfast and a meeting and took a picture with my son in the lobby. Getting into downtown was a quick drive up the road without having to make any turns until in the actual downtown area. Very easy and convenient. The pool was nicely shaped and quite warm, the hot tub was large and hot.

The motel looks newish, has a nice lobby, it’s clean, the beds & pillows were comfy, had great water pressure in the shower, pretty good/standard free breakfast & coffee, and very bargain friendly (we had a two room suite for a great price). Would be hard to find a better budget motel. Thumbs up!

The front desk staff and breakfast staff were awesome! Very professional and courteous. I loved the Managers Reception from 5-7pm. There were appetizers and beer/wine/soda, etc. - ALL COMPLIMENTARY! My room and bathroom were absolutely spotless, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. During my stay, it was quiet--except for occasional noise from the road that's not the hotel's fault. Otherwise, it was pretty quiet for my entire stay. There's a pool and a hot tub, but I didn't get to enjoy it, because I was working most of the time. The breakfast was wonderful--a great start to my day. There were scrambled eggs, bacon, and biscuits/gravy. Also, a waffle maker, assorted yogurts, cereal, fruit and breads. Coffee, milk and juice were available for drinks. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The pool area is nice and clean we really enjoyed relaxing in the pool. There are several restaurants near the hotel we highly recommend Smokey Bones but do not eat at the IHOP. The hotel is in a great location it's actually very quiet and it's just minutes away from just about everything you could want to see in Springfield and Walmart is only 4 miles away. Overall we absolutely enjoyed our stay!!

Common spaces all very clean and inviting. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was good and selection was better than most. Room itself was clean, comfortable, and convenient. For a basic, non-luxurious hotel stay, this checked all the boxes.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 days and everything was great! The atmosphere was pleasant, everything was clean and tidy. The breakfasts were delicious and varied. Breakfast was good but very basic. No eggs were served for breakfast they just had sausage and biscuits with gravy beyond the basics. But the breakfast area was very well run and attended to by staff. They had bananas but no oranges. Apples were the alternative. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was very quiet so that was nice. The staffed was very helpful and friendly.

The parking lot was well lit for a woman traveling alone. They happily accommadated my trailer i was pulling. Warm reception. Very clean room. Very comfortable bed, I had had back surgery 5 days earlier. Clean bathroom, wonderful shower. Typical breakfast only two no carb items. But all the expected things. Coffee was nice.

The room is a good clean room, has comfortable beds and reliable and easily used faucet handles. Once the father and son got settled next-door, it was very quiet, and we were able to enjoy a sound sleep. The breakfast was adequate, even good, not hot breakfast but hot was not promised. Check in and check out were smooth and efficient. There were several restaurants within walking distance for dinner. All in all a good experience, I’d recommend it to anyone.

The property was clean and well maintained. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was nice clean beds were comfortable. TV has a lot of channels. My grandchildren were happy because they had Nickelodeon. After a long day of driving, I like just to sit back and watch cartoons for a while and stretch out on their nice comfortable beds . Breakfast was the normal bagels, toast, cereals waffles. They had some yogurt. I had some fruit had some hard boiled eggs in a refrigerator and muffins. .

The hotel is in a quiet area of Springfield, close enough to I-55. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by Robin at the front desk. She was very kind to me. For future guests at this hotel - please be nice to the front desk staff here. They do treat you well. The room I intially checked into on the first floor was actually very clean and comfortable but I quickly noticed that the guests in the room next to me were loud and obnoxious. I asked Robin if I could relocate to a different room. She made accommodations for me. I was relocated to a room on the 3rd floor. The room I relocated to was very quiet and peaceful but not nearly as clean. The previous guests left opened yogurt and fruit in the refrigerator. Because it wasn't discarded by the cleaning staff, the entire room smelled. Badly. There also appeared to be "residue" on the toilet seat. I'm a low maintenance guy. Just intolerant to loud noises. So I just aired the room out and cleaned the bathroom with bleach wipes that I bought at a store nearby. After that, everything was for okay. Obviously, it should go without saying, that guests shouldn't have to go through this. So my stay at Microtel wasn't awfu but wasn't great. My opinion, the location and front desk service of this hotel both stand as its best qualities. And it's not too pricey. But if this hotel can just find a way update their rooms to modern standards and fix the cleaning service, it could be a gem in the south side of Springfield.

Highly recommend staying at this property. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the hotel is very clean and well cared for. They are scheduled to have an update of the property which it does need so I would look forward to that if I stay there again, which I certainly would! Comfy bed and quiet.

Though off the beaten path, because it is Hampton, it did not disappoint. Easy check in and check out, great breakfast, and as always, the beds are comfy, rooms sparkling and clean. Never disappointed with a Hampton Inn. Breakfast options plentiful and hot, and breakfast area most pleasant. Thank you!

Clean room, used Choice points for 3 night stay, Breakfast was fine and met expectations, Coffee maker was missing from room. The Coffee was there but no maker. I requested one and they said they were ordered. I asked if they could get one from an empty room, and they declined. Not a special guest but i do like my coffee and spend about 200 nights on the road a year. I am the business guest they want to groom and attend to. Of course, I did not raise the point on the desk staff. Had south facing room on 2nd floor which was private as NOTHING is on the south side of the hotel except vacant land. Will request South side for next stay. On the plus side, room was clean, service otherwise was good. BEST thing was that coffee in the breakfast room had BIG cups. Maybe 12 oz or 16 oz and not those little ones. I even complimented them on it. And the coffee was available all day so it worked out. Great area, 10 million places to eat or shop. Close to Target, WalMart, Sams and even Office DePot and a million restaurants. Mostly the typical and upper scale chains. Would stay there again for sure.

This was the first time I had stayed in a quality Inn and I was really happy with it. Cindy, the housekeeper and breakfast manager, is at the top of her game. The breakfast was a little bit different every morning and they were all delicious. The bed room was clean and so was the bathroom. Everyone in the hotel was friendly. The man, I can't remember his name(that happens to senior citizens),who is the hotel manager was very helpful and gave me a quarter so I could finish my laundry and not after to go back to my room to get the money. They also had a nice place to take my dog outside to go potty.

I specifically chose this hotel because it has a pool and free breakfast. My two kids love swimming in a pool and they had a lot of fun in it. The breakfast was also surprisingly quite good. They had both options of hot and cold breakfast items. For the hot breakfast, I had toasts, sausage patties, eggs, and breakfast potatoes. My family also ate yogurt, chocolate muffin, diced peaches in a cup, and cereal. Although small, I also liked the fact that there was a small fitness room. It only has dumbbells, a bench, treadmill, and a stationary bike but it was enough for me to get my workout in. We only stayed one night but we were pleased overall with our stay. Our room was clean, the service was good, and the amenities were exactly what we were looking for. The reason I gave this review a 4 instead of a 5 is because my wife mentioned that the bed and table chairs were uncomfortable. For those wondering about the location, it is right by the I55 and I72 on the east side of Springfield. The hotel is about 10 minutes away from the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum which is in downtown Springfield.

For full disclosure, the only reason we chose this hotel was because we wanted to use the small amount of points we had so our expectations were low. When we arrived, our low expectations were met because it didn't look well maintained on the outside and while waiting to check in, someone who apparently had just checked in was at the desk reporting some kind of problem (we think they found a bug in their room). Now having said all of that, we checked in and went to our room before unloading anything and found our room to be spacious and clean and well maintained. We decided to stay and had a great night sleep after a great dinner recommendation from the front desk attendant. So, we would stay here again if we're in the area and looking for something clean and simple.

It was hard to see the hotel at night. The parking lot wasn’t lit either. Exterior was very drab. Breakfast area small and tucked into small lobby area. Didn’t use the pool. Room was clean, beds and pillows comfy. Carpet worn and soiled, kept our slippers on. Shower was good and hot. Toilet seat lid was broke and moved around a lot. Coffee was fine. This hotel worked for us while traveling. Wouldn’t want two nights or more.

Clean smelling lobby. Check in easy. Only one cart for luggage. Room outdated. Carpeted floors needed vacuuming. Breakfast ok. Good coffee!! Nora, house keeping room good care of us. But what I DIDN'T CARE FOR was the "pet friendly" price of $30/night for my 2 cats. For what??? Too have to vacuum the room? We bring our own safety to place in bed cover. That tacked another $100+ to total. Want that nice. Just convenient to races tracks.

This is a great location overall, with good basic Internet service that is essential to our family. However, they have it blocked so game systems cannot be connected so this location will not work again for our family that includes an autistic member unless there are no better choices available. The issue is the TV indicates you can connect your own device but you cannot. It is important to note that the TV system includes the ability to choose Netflix or YouTube, which I’ve not yet seen at other chains. The restaurant and bar were closed due to the pandemic but that was one of the features we were interested in checking out. The front desk is staffed by very friendly people and they do an excellent job of keeping the facility monitored and safe. We would stay here again if we cannot find a better hotel that allows my son to connect his video game system. It was quiet and the main facilities were very clean. Gentle note to housekeeping to do a better check under the desk area.

We stayed one night while attending the State Fair and I was happy with the accommodations. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean. Having the onsite bistro is convenient and the food was pretty good. The location of the hotel is great because you are surrounded by restaurants and stores, all within walking distance.

Easy access from US 55, room was clean, daily room cleaned, friendly/helpful staff. We would have been more pleased if they had a third pillow and had more than free coffee. Otherwise, we feel that we had a good stay.

Hot home made breakfast, none of that microwave eggs and precooked bacon junk a lot of places use. Only bummers at this property are that there's no ice or vending on the ground floor. Only second and third floors and all the way at opposite ends of the halls. And they only have one designated guest entry point, the main entrance. The back door is exit only 😂 which makes it inconvenient for folks who travel with an excessive amount of luggage. I am one of those people lol

Front desk concierge Corrina was friendly, helpful and informative. Staff was always smiling and kind. Fitness room was convenient and quiet. Good location/parking. The only problem I had is the breakfast offerings were lean. I'm not a big fan of biscuits and gravy and wish there would have been some basic protein, like pork sausage and eggs, in the breakfast.

The hotel staff were very kind and tried to be helpful in any way. The hotel is dated, but very clean & comfortable. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable and everything in the room worked as it should. It is only 4 blocks from the hospital and very convenient.

To stay with good checking was fast and easy they had the paperwork and the keys ready to go when we got there an older hotel but very clean you offer breakfast but we left early so did not check out the breakfast bar we'll stay again. The rooms were very clean and it smelled very nice throughout the entire building well worth the money

My husband and I spent a wonderful three days in Springfield immersed in Lincoln history. The Carpenter Street Hotel was in a perfect location - just a few blocks from the Capitol, Lincoln Library & Museum, and home. Breakfast was simple and good. Our room was big and comfortable. I stayed here for 2 nights while sightseeing in the Springfield area. I needed a clean, quiet, and comfortable room and I found it here. Check in was smooth, as was check out. All employees were super friendly! I will definitely stay here again when I return to the area!

I work in the Springfield area and decided to stay at Holiday Inn Express on Dirksen Parkway. I would say the hotel is average for the price and amenities. Front desk staff Anthony was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean. The bed was queen size and they use mattress covers which is a bonus. I am extremely picky and double check everything because of another hotel experience locally. There is a small refrigerator and microwave in the room for heating food and keeping your drinks cold. Refrigerator coffee maker for coffee and tea. Helpful tip - stay toward the front of the hotel. There is a lot of noise from the highway which is close. My only issue with my room was the bathtub took forever to drain. It filled up while I was showering and was really slow to drain. Breakfast is provided in the cost. A wide variety of items - scrambled eggs, egg white omlette, bacon, sausage, toast, bagels, and pastries. Several kinds of yogurts as well. Overall a good value for the money.

The layout of the room was very efficient and comfortable. The breakfast was typical for Holiday Express Inn hotels. Satisfactorily. It would have been safer to get into the shower if there were grab bars to assist you. The hotel was in a safe area.

We found this hotel to be very clean and the staff friendly. Our room was clean and just the right size for two people. The air conditioner worked well. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The hot breakfast was good and consisted of scrambled eggs, link sausage, waffles, cereal, and the other standard breakfast fare. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pics on the hotel’s website are an accurate depiction of this hotel. If we are ever in Springfield again, we will definitely stay here.

Sleep Inn in Springfield is a hidden gem. I could stay at any hotel I choose within reason because my company pays for it. But it's important to me that I be a good steward of the resources at my disposal. For the price of a Motel 6, a Super 8, or an Econolodge (or less), I got a far better room and a more comfortable stay! While the room may be 15 to 20% smaller than a customary hotel room, the rooms are not all all cramped. Rooms are clean, modern, and well kept. The breakfast is pretty much the same as what you would find at the Hampton Inn, La Quinta, Best Western, etc. but for some reason, it was more tasty than what I remember of the aforementioned. I think it's because Sleep Inn prepares and sets out smaller serving dishes thus smaller amounts of food. This may mean that the food turns over faster and stays fresher. Whatever they're doing it works for me! Every staff member with whom I happened to cross paths greeted me in a friendly and courteous manner. Front desk staff is professional and warm. I had a great experience, and I will definitely make this particular location my regular place to stay during my monthly visits to Springfield.

I was unsure as to what I would find when I arrived. I was very pleasantly greeted by the staff at desk. They got me my key and gave me a complementary bottle of cold water, which was available daily at the asking. They told me about the breakfast hours and directed me to my room. The hot breakfast offered waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, yougart, coffee and juice. Quite tasty. The room was a king, big bath/shower with adequate storage for a four day stay. Pricing was fine, except that daily room prices are reflected in what events are going in the area and vary. I would recommend this hotel; however, there is no pool.

The price was good, and the staff was very attentive and courteous. There were some loud guests which was about the only drawback. The breakfast was more than adequate, but it doesn't have a lot of options for people on restricted diets. The staff was quick to replenish anything that was going low (scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon (depending on the day), biscuits and gravy). The hotel was clean, and while the showers were an older design they had good water pressure and plenty of hot water - although it can take a minute to warm up. The furniture is a little dated but adequate. The beds were very comfortable, clean, and provided a good night's sleep. Definitely a good stopover for anyone on a budget.

The only issues we encountered were not having a shower curtain and the ice machine on the third floor was not working. I was given a shower curtain when I asked at the front desk.

Bed and pillow was very comfortable. Shower was nice and hot. Thursday night it was nice and quiet. Friday not was a different story, adults loud in the halls until after 11pm. Not happy about that. Then theybtook over the breakfast area on Saturday morning so i was unable to get any breakfast that day. The good breakfast is one reason i chose to stay there.

The facility has very basic; the room was small and felt cramped. The staff was excellent. The room was clean, and the bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. The pool was small but nice and well maintained The area around the property was well maintained and clean.

Not fancy, but comfortable and clean with friendly staff and tasty hot breakfast. A great stay for the price!

Property and rooms updated and in great condition. Staff extremely helpful and accommodating. Only one concern was the shower. We didn't use it because it looked like the tiles had soap or shampoo on them and therefore concerned me that it wasn't clean. Also the rug and bathroom needed a bit more vacuuming. Hotel very updated but located next to a gas station and convenience store. Not a problem at all but helpful!

They also helped address a couple minor matters as we got settled into our room. Morning staff were similarly polite as they handled the checkout process. We had a spacious room with two queen beds for our stay. Our room was both clean and comfortable, and the beds were also comfy and cozy. It would have been a really good night's sleep, except we had issues with numerous people (other guests?) blaring music and yelling outside in the parking lot. No fault of the hotel itself, but it did make for a bad night of sleep. The hotel has a small pool, which is clean and well maintained. They also have a breakfast area, where you can grab a bite to eat before heading out in the morning. In fact, the only real critique that I had about the actual hotel is that the breakfast selection was somewhat limited and subpar. They had the standard waffle maker and a few prepackaged cinnamon rolls, but they had almost nothing else available to eat. I don't recall seeing any fruit or even milk and cereal available that morning.

The room was clean and spacious. All the amenities were there and functioned perfectly. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows and the linens were clean. The breakfast was as expected in quality and sufficient. The staff was welcoming and gracious.

If you need an inexpensive place to crash for the night, this hotel is for you. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. If you need luxury or creature comforts, the Crowne Plaza is down the street. My comments are based on expectations and I was very satisfied with my stay.

The rooms are clean, it's quiet, i'm not afraid to touch things or take a shower, and there are no roaches. Great rates I couldn't be happier.

I read the reviews about this place and decided to check it out anyway. I'm glad I did. I am in town for work and have stayed at other places that were a Lot worse! The staff have been very friendly and accommodating. The room is clean, a decent size. It's not high end nor is it trashy as other people have stated. It is quiet and most of all CLEAN!! The rates are reasonable and the location is close to the freeway and downtown. Glad I decided to stay here!

This place has helpful employees who genuinely care about your stay at the hotel. They had a smooth check-in process along with a smooth check-out process. The hotel room was very clean and had everything I needed for my stay to be comfortable. Definitely staying here again when I come back.

Close to interstate and State Fair wasn’t that far away. Front desk was on the ball. Was disappointed that there was no coffee available on any of the days. Air conditioner worked, toilet flushed and no clogged drains. Refrigerator was very clean! Very reasonable price too.

Property was nice, clean, and the front desk help was very nice. Lot of eateries near by. Never felt unsafe.
