our room was big and clean , with jacuzzi and fireplace . 4-9 outdoor pool and jacuzzi were opened , we enjoyed it and sauna as well

From check in, to checkout, the staff were amazingly attentive and welcoming. Rooms are very clean. Bed was incredibly comfy. Amenities were plentiful. Restaurants were excellent. Enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi while it snowed. Very romantic. We will definitely be back.

Perfect location and facilities. Clean and staff very friendly and accommodating. The evening fire pits outside were excellent and the swimming pool, jacuzzi and gym were also a welcome addition. The Whip restaurant was outstanding booking definitely recommended. Would return.

Beautiful rooms. Comfortable stay. We stayed in Mansfield and it had two rooms, master bedroom had a jacuzzi and a fireplace. I would though skip breakfast at the hotel at their restaurant in 18 main. Portion size is very small and overpriced, service was average.

Exceeded the value. Great quality room, bed, kitchenette, living space. My friend and I went to Stowe for a few days of spring skiing and made good use out of the Jacuzzi and pool to recover.excellent stay! Full buffet breakfast and fresh coffee to kick off the morning. The kitchen came in handy to heat up some food and chill the wine when we were too tired to go out to eat.

We stayed here 26/10/25 and was over the moon with the whole experience! Located perfectly 2 min drive from Ben and Jerry’s 👍 The parking was ample, rooms spotless and brand new! Big smart tv in room linked to Netflix which is rare ! Bathroom was spotless with everything you need, with full bottles of shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser all lovely lemon scented. Beds very very comfortable with ample pillows, fast wi-fi and a great breakfast selection with piping hot coffee and super friendly staff. Couldn’t ask for more at a great price and there’s a pool with jacuzzi on site with games room so extra added bonus Many thanks

Clean and comfortable rooms, beds super comfortable. Great staff, always greeted with a smile and they have cookies! Great breakfast, probably the best we've had at a hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Kids loved the pool which was very clean and great size. Just a really great stay. Enjoyed everything about it. We had a disability room because I broke my knee and am using a wheel chair right now. The bathroom was huge and loved the shower. I was able to get in no problem and it had a place for me to sit etc. The kids loved taking a bath in the big tub with jets. That was a bonus! The room itself was very good size with a table with 4 chairs to eat at. Mountain views and even a fireplace that of course we didn't use this time of year, but would be great in winter months! They also have a nice outside area right outside the pool area with seating and fire at night. Rooms are also very quiet. Great location too!

Staying at BWPlus in Stowe was a wonderful experience. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. It was expressed that the owners bring the best of their own travels and stays to this hotel and it shows. The hotel is clean and provides several lovely additions such as a small covered bridge and stone paved sitting area with a fire pit in the back. There is a huge lodge-type area inside for sitting, relaxing and reading. Staff is pleasant, helpful and engaging. The breakfast is second to none including real eggs and vegetables. We had the honor of speaking with Ray who shared his pride at being the chef at this Best Western as we shared how wonderful the preparations were. The entire hotel is very clean and quiet is a priority as indicated by the tastefully done and place signs in the stairwells. I am looking forward to repeat visits to the Best Western Plus in Stowe VT!

I book almost all my lodgings, regardless of location or cost, in-house rather than online. I've found that although there's some extra cost, it repays sometimes with very real upgrades, and almost always provides some personal information that online bookings omit. My experience with Stoweflake's front desk person was very positive, and I was assured that the fitness center was open, and that a microwave was available for my early breakfast and evening take-out. The room's price was mid-level- very reasonable for the convenience to restaurants, and full access to the onsite fitness center. I reserved a king deluxe room for 3 nights mid-week The bathroom was clean, well appointed with nice towels, large sink/counter and a shower that was a full flow, soothing and quite nice after a day at the mountain in -5F (or so) wind chill. If you want to make your own bed (as I do, my military habits endure), let then know ahead. The room heating was quiet & effective and the fireplace gave off good warming for additional recovery from the day's chill. I did a full workout in fitness club with excellent equipment. I had three good nights' sleep in a quiet, clean, and comfortable room at a good price. I'll be booking again for sure.

Clean, Cozy & Comfortable resort. We just got back from New England to see the fall colors and as dry as it’s been it was beautiful! It was so nice being here especially since we spent 3 bad nights at a hotel in Boston. Our travel group had a delicious buffet dinner there as others had to go out due to the restaurant being renovated. It was too warm to light the fireplace but there was a nice fire pit outside to roast Smores. We’d be thrilled to stay there again.

The bed was very clean and comfortable, the shower was hot, the location was perfect for all of our Stowe activities, and we loved that the hotel was dog friendly 🐶 another bonus was the hot tub right near our room

This was our second trip here. Friendly service, convenient to mountain, restaurants and shops. A little dated, but they seem to be making updates (fitness center and spa). Fireplace in rooms is plus. Continental breakfast. Simple and clean.

Fantastic stay. Multiple space to hang with great hosts and breakfast was delicious. We took full advantage of the hottub after our days on thr slopes.

We loved the very kind and friendly hosts, the super cute and cozy environment, the great amenities such as the availability of jacuzzi and board games, the delicious breakfast and coffee and tea options! In general, it felt like we were part of a home with the best hosts ever! I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family! Do not miss it!

This wonderful inn has lovely views of Mt. Mansfield across their beautiful lawn (with bonus cute chickens and geese to admire). All available to guests: a large living room, library, an electronic game table for kids with a bar for adults, as well as a front sunporch and a back porch with the Mt. Mansfield view. The room was extremely well appointed, with many extras for comfort and convenience (e.g., hairdryer, shampoo conditioner and body wash within the shower in dispensers for zero waste, Brita pitcher, white noise machine, champlain chocolates on my pillow). So many thoughtful touches. NOW THE FOOD -- delicious very high quality coffee and tea available around the clock! and such an amazing locally sourced breakfast. The value of this place is beyond!! Friendly hosts with just the right helpful, but unobtrusive style.

The owner’s attention to detail is exquisite. He was really nice and helpful. We were offered snacks in the evening (a delicious fudge), their coffee was great and their breakfast simply delicious. The place was clean, comfortable, cozy and all the positive adjectives you can think of.

The condo was great for my family. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, fluffy pillows, extra throw blankets, and patio set made it an amazing experience as I was able to save some money as we didn't need to eat out all meals. The pool, jacuzzi and gym area were clean and well maintained.

Nice pool, hottub, very comfortable beds, and clean. Mini-golf and bowling alley looked awesome but we didn't use them. So much to do in stowe with limited time.

The Location Spot on for exploring Stowe! The Staff always welcomed with a big smile and warm welcome! The facilities: eatery was great with awesome view of the cool bowling alleys! Swimming pool and jacuzzi just lovely! And washing facilities! It has everything!

Our stay was so comfortable, so central, so enjoyable. Great location just outside the center to be quiet and relaxing yet close to great food options, shopping, and the sites. Checkin was easy and friendly, parking ample. The room spacious, clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Would stay again for sure. Cookies and coffee free in the lobby!

The room was clean, comfortable bright and private. My particular room had a back entrance that led to the jacuzzi/firepit area. It had beautiful river views. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They let me check in an hour early. The pool and sauna area were very clean.

We loved Tälta Lodge! The German woman working in reception was incredibly friendly ans helpful. Amazing to enjoy the jacuzzi and views, plus the bar/lodge area. I wish we had more than 2 nights .Would love to come back again.

Nice outdoor jacuzzi, nice communal seating area. Really great free coffees. Sauna and indoor swimming pool. we had two rooms, one with bunk beds for the kids and one with a queen bed for the adults. rooms are very modern and cozy with small outdoor seating area. Great shower and soaps.

Most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Amenities (common area, pool was heated, Jacuzzi and sauna). Sun room off the pool area that has yoga mats (I took advantage of it). Close to everything The grounds are beautiful Dog friendly

Location is great - very near the Recreation path for biking. Rooms were clean and very spacious. There were also a lot of facilities including the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and etc.

Convenient access to Stowe shuttle, nice rooms. Pool, sauna and Jacuzzi is perfect to relax after skiing.

Breakfast was exceptional! The staff was so welcoming. We loved the hottub. The location of the lodge was perfect. It was just far enough out of the city but still very close. I also loved the creek in the back of the property. I sat outside and watched the water many times

We always love staying at the Stowe Motel. I. noticed some upgrades - new headboards, fresh paint on the walls, a working jacuzzi. My only complaint is that the sponge for washing the dishes was very small. Otherwise, we love the Stowe Motel!

Fast no-hassle check-in, decent-size 2 queen beds room, very clean, comfortable beds, clean bathroom & upscale soft bath towels, good working WiFi, pretty quiet & slept well. Highly recommend this place. There's coffee/tea/hot cocoa in the office. The staff were friendly. This is my 2nd time here. I would definitely stay here again. They recommended Round Hearth for breakfast & lunch only. No dinner. It's only 1.5 miles up the road & was a good choice for breakfast.

This is a very nice motel and our room was tidy and clean and had a working gas fireplace which was all we needed to warm up a chilly fall evening and morning. The people working at the front desk were really helpful and friendly. We were tired and didn't feel like eating out so they were able to direct us to a really wonderful deli that was within walking distance. The staff was very helpful with directing people to find hiking and biking trails. Very knowledgeable about the area. No breakfast was provided, but there was a coffee pot and coffee in our room and coffee and tea is also available in the lobby. Freshly baked cookies were available at check-in along with some candy bars. Parking was free and plentiful.

The motel is nicely situated, somewhat on the outskirts of Stowe, surrounded by beautiful nature yet still close to a few restaurants and bars. The room had a little kitchenette, a strong AC, and a somewhat dated bathroom with good water pressure. Everything seemed very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a scenic ride on the free bikes up the Stowe rec path.

The location was perfect, surrounded by nature. The Lodge had many ammenities, from the jacuzzi to games, and the room was perfect. The breakfast was scarce but reasonsble due to low season.

I booked a room at the Field Guide Lodge last minute. My two children and I planned to ski Bolton Valley and this was a perfect little hotel to rest at before a long day of skiing. The receptionist was welcoming, friendly, and so helpful. She upgraded our room as a kind gesture and we appreciated it so much! We spent a lot of time in my favorite part of the hotel-the lobby! There are 3 fireplaces to choose from to keep you warm and cozy and plenty of seating. Our room was simple but was perfect for a one night stay. The only issue for me was there was no continuous fan on the heating/ac unit. If there was, I couldn't figure it out! I have a really hard time sleeping in silence. We enjoyed some time in the hot tub too! Breakfast was such a treat. The overnight oats with all the toppings were perfect before heading to the mountain. We also loved the cranberry white chocolate scones. If you appreciate unique and quirky hotels with beautiful interior design-you will love this place. We hope to come back when Apres Only is open. :)

We spent two nights at Field Guide Lodge and left genuinely impressed. From the moment we arrived, the team welcomed us with warmth and professionalism. Aiden and his colleagues made sure every detail was taken care of, and their hospitality truly elevated our experience. Our room was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was perfect after a day of exploring Stowe, and the overall vibe of the lodge strikes a lovely balance between rustic charm and modern style. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, fresh, flavorful, and served in a cozy setting that made us feel right at home. The location is ideal, just a short walk from great restaurants and shops, yet quiet enough to relax and unwind. We felt pampered throughout our stay and appreciated the little touches that made a big difference. We wholeheartedly recommend Field Guide Lodge to anyone visiting the area. It’s a place where you’re not just a guest, you’re truly cared for.

Lodge common area is a great place to hang out and loved the decor. You don’t have to be ‘stuck’ in your room. I wish we would have arrive earlier to take advantage of this area. Close to a lot of restaurants. There is also an outdoor fire pit area and huge outdoor deck. Would be a great place for a group in any season. Staff was so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was individual quiches, fresh cut up melon, yogurt with optional toppings, and croissants. All was very tasty. Coffee and juice also available. There is a large closet in the room with a luggage rack and I think a frig in it. Room was small, on ground level, and had windows that overlooked a busy common walkway. Keep the shades pulled! I”d opt for one room down as it had a walkout patio area and more private. Bathroom had double sink but no counter space. Down the hall around the corner is a coffee maker-high end, a frig with milk, and key/lock storage lockers for each room for skis, equipment . A little pricey for our ‘need’ in late and out early, but I’d stay here again and get there early to take advantage of its location and amenities.

The staff actually upgraded our room upon seeing that we were staying a week which was very nice. The free breakfast every morning was a great way to start the day. My wife booked the hot tub by appointment and staff was very friendly and helpful with everything we needed. The look of the place is very unique with plenty of stuff to look at and read. Only downsides were the shower took a long time to get to the temperature desired and could be awkward to turn on. The AC unit was noisy. The view outside one of our windows was a broken gutter. It's great there was a bar attached to the hotel but it's also a double edged sword becuase music and customers are on the loud side until 9pm Thursday-Sunday. We honestly looked over all this though as the stay was exceptional.

A beautiful, relaxing, clean, and convenient place to stay.Near many restaurants, local movies, bike trail, hiking and skiing. The hotel is newly renovated. The room we're in on the hill is cozy, the bed is so comfortable, the facilities are inviting, and the views are amazing. The TVs are smart and connect to various apps., the bathrooms are modern, and I think the tile floor is heated.The pools, hot tub, sauna and locker rooms are all clean and handicap accessible. A set of mini chalets are being built, and look like they'll be very nice once complete.

Caddy Hill Lodge is everything you could want in a mountain escape! The location is absolutely perfect—right next to great restaurants and bars, so you’re in the heart of everything, but it still feels intimate and peaceful. It’s also just minutes from the slopes, which made getting out to ski super convenient. The lodge itself is so thoughtfully designed. The cozy and stylish lounge was the perfect place to relax after a long day on the mountain, and the game room had a really fun, laid-back vibe. The indoor pool and sauna were a total bonus—such a treat to unwind in. Plus, they have great coffee available all day, which was definitely appreciated! Already looking forward to staying here again on my next ski trip. Highly recommend!

The Bluebird Cady Hill Lodge was in the perfect location for us- drivable to all of our favorite spots in Stowe with parking right outside our room. The room itself had a chill Vermont vibe, very cozy yet modern, clean and spacious. We loved that we could bring our pup with us! The extra $35/night was worth it. The facilities were very clean, the shower was hot, and the staff were lovely. We used the hot tub only once and enjoyed it. We also loved that we could communicate with staff via text- this was especially convenient when we had to check in later than expected.

We loved Cady Hill Lodge- perfect pet friendly family spot. Katie Hill Lodge was the perfect blend of styled and friendly. Our kids loved the pool and the main lodge had a great vibe. The smoothies in the morning were delicious and the pour over coffee in the room was a nice change from the boring coffee machines that typical hotels have. They gave us an upgrade because we were there in between seasons and our dog loved it also. Yeah, the kids loved the arcade which was not overwhelming and used quarters instead of gimmicky cards so the kids had a tangible idea of how much money was actually being spent which we as parents loved. We went there as a last-minute staycation, but I thought a lot about how friends and family that come to visit us. Would totally enjoy staying there too. Right on some of the best, most approachable mountain biking trails in Stowe, 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Cady Hill lodge was a great spot to explore Stowe from skiing, to dining and shopping! The bus stop to get to the mountain is right in front of the hotel and brings you right to the lodges! And the reverse direction drops you right downtown! We walked to Apres only for live music, Bench, the Backyard and Doc Ponds for dinners and were a 15 min drive to Ben and Jerry’s and multiple breweries! The staff was helpful, friendly, rooms were spacious and clean, and the lobby/check in area with pool, hot tub, arcade and restaurant/bar were fabulous to hang out in, take a swim or enjoy a breakfast or snack and drink! We’d definitely go back and recommend!

We came to Stowe for 3 days to go skiing with family, this hotel offered good value for nice service and reasonable cost. Room was very nice, clean, and fits perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids (11, 17 y o). Breakfasts were fresh and delicious. The best representatives, always ready to solve any issues anytime. I like Spa zone with swim pool and jacuzzi, no wifi connections but i am sure management team can solve this issue very fast. Free parking inside was perfect because outside was -4 F

We loved the Fairfield Inn. The manager was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. We spent two nights and it was so quiet! The breakfast in the morning was really tasty, fresh and hot. The dining area was very nice with a fireplace and plenty of room. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Vermont!

Good continental breakfast. Clean hotel. It has a very poor selection of Tv channels. Some friendly and some not so friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Clean bathroom but only lotion and soap as amenities. Coffee maker and mini fridge in the room. Overall is a nice hotel to stay in. Nothing unique but it is clean and everything works in the rooms.

Very mixed feelings about this hotel. Great location, large rooms and a nice breakfast and nice pool and jacuzzi. But the service was bad, nothing was explained and the rooms very not clean at all. Cold coffee and no tea water, hair in the bathrooms among other things and they didn’t even empty the trash bins even when asking for cleaning. And this was during the summer, not skiing season. The AC was very loud, so bring air plugs and I live in NYC so heard it all.

Wonderful stay in an authentic Austrian chalet inn. Full breakfast every day was superb and apres ski soup and cheese is a really nice touch. All the food was homemade and excellent. Jacuzzi outdoor tubs and fire in the chiminea makes for a perfect way to relax the muscles after a mountain workout. We loved our stay and will look to it again when we return to Stowe.

A gem up in Stowe Vermont. The inn is a Austrian style hotel located on mountain rd about 1.5 mi from the ski resort. I have to say I was very pleased with the updates to the lodge. New furniture, bathroom remodel, fixtures, sinks etc. Everything was refreshed. So, same exellent buffet style breakfast, even the same chef. Soup and snacks in the evening, and hypoallergenic would be my description of the rooms! Clean, would be another, from the sheets to towels, clean. Friendly staff, ample parking, easy check in. Some other note worthy items, hot water seemed plentiful, and upon turning on faucet, quickly the water turned warm. A cozy inviting ski lodge at a reasonable price. And I have to say this, in stowe there aren't many breakfast restaurants so a big bonus on the free breakfast. Also, I didnt take any pics, what was on booking was acurate. Exellent value. Inside tip... if you are looking to save money, when done skiing, pick up a sandwich in town, maybe at Shaws, head back to the inn, enjoy it with the free soup and snacks they provide and 10 bucks or so you have dimner.

Husband, myself, and our dog went up to Stowe for a last minute 4 day weekend over 4th of July. I booked a standard Queen the night before. We arrived the following afternoon and were pleasantly surprised to receive a Deluxe King room on the first floor. The property is just far enough from the main area of Stowe that it is quiet, and only a 5 minute drive to the center of town. The Inn rests on a beautiful slow flowing river with multiple Adirondack chairs looking over it. 2 large fields were a great place to play ball with our dog (she also loved swimming in the river). The Inn sits next to the start of the Stowe recreational trail and offers free bike rentals. Last but not least, the included breakfast was delightful. Fresh blueberry pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and breakfast potatoes. Either eat in their charming sitting area, outside on the patio, or in your room. The staff was welcoming and pleasant. We will be returning for future visits to Stowe.

This may be an older hotel but don't let that detract you. It is very clean and well kept. My room was a nice size and quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I really loved sitting outside by the water. It was so peaceful. I did not try the breakfast because I am not a breakfast person and it was down a flight of stairs, and I don't do stairs very well, but I'm told it's really good. I have a feeling if I had asked for something, they would have accommodated me. They have hot tubs and other extra amenities. The location was great and close to everything. It was too early skiing but the slopes for Mn.t Mitchel are conveniently down the road. If ever in the area, I will come back!

Our stay at the Little River Inn can only be described as impecable, wonderful, amazing! We had the most amazing time at the inn in every aspect possible. The hosts were amazing. Kim and Phil are really welcoming and they run the inn like a home. It really felt like a home away from home. The rooms were amazing, very comfortable and clean. There was water available for free at the inn, also coffee and hot chocolate. The breakfast was AMAZING. Prepared by Kim and Phil personally, they adapt the options if you have any food allergies or special requirements such as vegan or vegetarian options. I could write an essay about our stay and still would not be enough. Truly, if you have the opportunity to go to Stowe, select the Little River Inn as your first option for accommodation, you will not regret it! There is parking in front of the inn as well, and the location of the inn is also really good to enjoy the city and all that it has to offer! If I come back to Stowe I'll make sure to book this amazing inn again! Thank you a lot for the wonderful time!

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The hosts could not have been nicer. Our room was neat and clean, there was coffee and tea whenever we wanted it, we enjoyed using the hot tub, and the location was central to everything we wanted to do. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. We stayed for two nights and felt that all of our needs were met. They are only six rooms on the property, so it is quiet and peaceful. The common room provided a cozy spot to make a cup of coffee coffee, watch TV, or play a game.

Delicious homemade breakfasts, very friendly inn keepers, comfy beds, very clean, great location, nice common room at the back with a kitchenette, coffee, tea and hot chocolate provided. Great view of the river. I have stayed here previously and liked it so much, I chose to stay here again and would do so in the future.

Little River Inn is located on the main drag heading North into the town. While the outside of the B&B is unassuming, the interiors are clean, modern and comfortable. The common space is cozy and the design choices are lovely. The breakfast offered was varied and delicious each day and Kim and Jay are friendly as can be. Our family room was a little tight for the 4 of us, but we wouldn't hesitate to return.

Absolutely adorable little place! The attention to details was amazing - even a toothbrush holder! Very personable! lovely view from breakfast area and lounge area. extremely clean. beautifully presented breakfast and delicious. room was very quiet even though on side of the busy road.

This was such a convenient and quaint stay. I loved every second of it. It’s right next to Black Cap Coffee and walking distance of restaurants and Shaw’s General Store. There’s a restaurant, Butler’s Pantry, right at the front of the building. They serve breakfast and dinner. I went for breakfast, I got French toast and sausage and it was delicious. The service was great. I stayed in Zoe’s Loft. I didn’t really hear any noise from the kitchen, like other reviews stated, but I could hear the church bells. The room was clean, there’s a kitchenette and a bathroom. You also have a designated parking spot. If you’re staying in Stowe, consider staying here.

There are many things to love about the Butler House: Location is fantastic Big, bright yet cozy room Kitchen with fridge, plates, dishes, etc. Views of the church across the street Great towels Laundry and ski storage onsite Blinds that can open from the top for privacy and light blocking curtains Easy check in Great communication Keurig with Green Mountain coffee But there is an issue that may impact whether you want to choose the Parlor Suite: Your door is located in the waiting area for the extremely popular breakfast restaurant, The Butler's Pantry. This was not noted in any description when we booked the room. The restaurant is fantastic so we definitely recommend eating there during your stay, but the amount of noise and commotion right outside your room is unbelievable. If you plan on getting up early, this won't be an issue at all. If you plan on a relaxing morning sleeping in late, forget about it. Also, the shower was barely warm and had low water pressure - I'm not sure if this was related to the restaurant or some other issue. For winter guests it should also be noted that there is no central heat in this room and the fireplace is decorative. They do provide a space heater. Complimentary parking is in the rear and the door to access the room is in the front, up a few steps. Overall, it's a lovely place to stay and the owners are great. I just wanted to point out some things that aren't obvious from the listing to help you make an informed choice.

The Parlour at the Butler House was perfect as far as location with a direct view as we are in front of the church. Loved being able to walk to restaurants and shops all within two blocks. It’s great space with comfortable sitting area super clean and kitchenette with microwave small fridge, sink and dish ware for when doing take out, having a bottle of wine or cup of coffee. The Breakfast place is closed due to COVID so one must go to the Whip if you want a proper breakfast. The only complain we had was the horrible smell of kitchen grease that permeated everything. I emailed the owner but never got a response. We ended up buying some small fragrance candles and pine incense at the general store which cover the smell. Windows are drafty but they gave us a nice duvet. And after our third day figured out how to use the heater as they left no instructions. Check in no one was there we were told where we would find them and we did self check in and out as never saw proprietor. Overall I recommend this place as it ticks all the boxes and if the smell bothers you the general store has what you need.

Stayed in Sarah's suite with my husband and 6 month old. It was perfect, exactly what we were looking for. Fireplace really works and gets warm which was nice and cozy during the rainy evening. Right on main street which is great for easy walking to shops and restaurants but was a little noisy at night. Hardwood floors, super comfy bed, nice hot shower and shower and water pressure, beautiful decorated, kitchen to cook in, coffee and half n half, Netflix and Amazon prime. Loved that check in was super easy and butlers pantry for breakfast was fantastic. I hope to stay here again in the future... easily one of the top 3 best hotels I've ever stayed at.

What a pleasant surprise to find the Butler House! Our room was spacious and comfortable with a kitchenette and fireplace. We loved the history and antiquity of the house itself. The owner was very helpful and accommodating when we arrived. The location was walking distance to shops and restaurants, and right across the street from one of my favorite bike trails! I highly recommend staying here. And I forgot to mention the most delicious breakfast served at their restaurant.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at spruce lodge. Staff were very helpful and very nice. The pool and jacuzzi was fun and the property is super clean.

Absolutely loved it, from the spa and outdoor jacuzzi to the ski rental shop inside the lodge to the two great restaurants on site, and just steps away from the lifts and gondola. We’ll definitely be back

Absolutely wonderful! The room was super comfortable, spacious and clean with amazing views up to the mountain and overlooking the pool. The communal areas were fantastic, restaurants delicious with friendly staff, valet and bell services efficient… We also enjoyed having a drink at the WhistlePig after dinner and letting the kids play Jenna and run around/burn some energy off. This is a superb hotel

Perfect location. Close to Main Street with shops and restaurants. The outdoor heated pool and hot tub and the entire resort inside and out is beautiful very picturesque. Everything was pristine. The team at the resort were very friendly. It is a Pet friendly resort. There was only one restaurant open when we were there and not a lot of food choices on the menu but excellent service and a really kind and welcoming manager. The lobby is beautiful with two fireplaces that we enjoyed with plenty of comfortable places to sit. We loved the bath ropes that were provided that was a surprise when we walked in the room. We definitely look forward to returning to The Lodge at Spruce Peak.

Top notch from head to toe! Every detail was just spot on. We were considering this might be the nicest place we’ve ever stayed. Ritz Carlton Tahoe is equivalent but the Lodge at Spruce Peak hit a home run making sure everything is thought about and perfectly executed. (Head to Edson Hill for dinner if you can get a reservation). We loved the beautiful marble floors,the warm pool, warmer hot tub, all the chairs on the pool deck, the deep bath tubs with delicious smelling spearmint soap, most amazing sheets on the bed and spacious rooms for all our items & bags. The gondola to the main gondola is just outside the resort a few steps. Breakfast was fantastic! We were blown away.

We had a wonderful stay, everyone was so friendly and helpful, the Tyrolean Suite was amazing with the fireplace. Very clean and tidy property. Great cross country skiing and fun indoor pool. The shuttle to Stowe Mountain ski area was very convenient, we had a great family vacation, would highly recommend.

Excellent resort to kick back and enjoy a stress free experience. So much nicer than the overcrowded uber commercialized big resort down the highway. You feel like you are in Austria with the beautiful views and old school and old world architecture and amenities. Staff is super nice and helpful. Great food and room is huge with perfect temperature control. Tours on the property are amazing. We had tons of snow which made the trip even better. They even clean off your car! Highly recommended!!

As a fan of The Sound of Music this was always a place I wanted to visit and believe me, it did not disappoint! The grounds were beautiful. There was plenty to do, you really did not have to leave the property! Room was huge, clean and had a balcony overlooking the property. We had dinner at the restaurant, which was delicious! Our waiter, Brian, was wonderful! Can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I had such a wonderful stay at the Trapp family lodge. It is so beautiful. Everyone was so professional and helpful. Our room was so clean which is important to us. We had so much fun at the bier hall . And the shuttle service is great for the guests. And the cinnamon rolls at the kaffeehaus were delicious. We will definitely be coming back again

This was amazing in every way imaginable. Simply a beautiful property and the entire staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and just seemingly all around great people. I would recommend this to anyone willing to listen. Simply oustanding. The room was beautiful and well-appointed. The breakfast buffet was terrifc, and wow, the view and the grounds themselves were magnificent. 12 stars!

Beautiful location and views!! Peaceful and serene setting. Very helpful staff. Hanna is just AMAZING!!! Checking in was a 1 minute process. Scan a QR put in a line or two of info and DONE!!! Lodge is rustic. Massive stone fireplace. Great room filled with an eclectic mix of comfortable couches and chairs. Rooms are a little snug. The bed we had was comfortable. Another highlight over the views... BREAKFAST!!! Bacon, eggs, freshly baked Muffins, Coffee cake, Bagels and more!!! We will be back for the bacon alone!! Thick sliced and crispy!! We arrived the day after a snowfall and there were still a few flurries which made the views even more stunning!!

We had a lovely stay at the Timberholm over July 4th weekend. Our room was clean and small, but the large living room gave us plenty of space to lounge around the inn. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, much more than I expected including homemade muffins and pastries along with a hot buffet. The large deck offers nice mountain views and is perfect for nighttime stargazing. Finally, the location is within walking distance of some breweries, bars, and restaurants. I'll definitely go back.

My sister and I had a fantastic stay at this beautiful lodge. The building is older and has some quirks (such as being a little noisy and heating being a little inconsistent), but gives you an old-school ski lodge experience with modern conveniences. The owners are wonderful and friendly; Valerie offered great conversation and tips for our long weekend in Stowe. We were able to take full advantage of the common area, which includes a huge fireplace, seating areas, and the tables where the included breakfast is served. The breakfast was amazing and we took advantage of both the sit down breakfasts and the ski breakfast (basically, a brown bag breakfast with egg sandwich, coffee, fruit and other snacks!). I'll definitely be back!!

Our stay at Timberholm Inn was wonderful. The information on the Inn's website was spot on. Our room was small - or what our host Valerie referred to as "cozy" - but it was clean and comfortable. The rest of the Inn was large enough for us to spread out while not in our room. Timberholm Inn was just off the main road that we felt like we were in the Vermont countryside, but we were still a short drive to restaurants. We were in Stowe due to its close access to hiking. We started our days with a hearty and warm breakfast at the Inn, did our hiking, and came back to a hot and clean shower. We went out for a bite to eat and returned to the Inn to play cards at one of the two dining room tables, while other guests ate their take out meals at the other table. Valerie's cooking was a great start to the day, especially combined with her outgoing personality. She made everyone who was there feel like we were her most favorite guests. One evening someone who was staying there had a flat tire. Valerie was able to connect the guest with a local mechanic and the tire was fixed first thing the next morning. If we were ever to go back to Stowe, we'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

We loved our stay at the Timberholm! We booked one of the smaller rooms with a views out back towards the mountains and loved the serene nature views and sounds! Valerie was amazing, so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and kept us full all day while we explored Stowe! Short walk or bike ride to many popular places, and the bike path will take you all through the area. We loved the deck, the lawn, the great room, decor, and nice touch with the sound machine in the room! The Inn is vintage, cozy, and creeky, so the machine helped us sleep sound! I would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again!
