Great location in the centre of town. Food at the restaurant was excellent. Friendly staff. Nice pool, jacuzzi and steam room. Private parking at the back of the hotel with decent sized car park. Good sized bedroom.

We booked a cottage with jacuzzi. It was brilliant for us. We had our dog, so we found the garden and easy access into town wonderful. We booked half board and really enjoyed our meal at the bistro . The staff there were wonderful with our daughter. I recommend this hotel.

The hotel itself is nice but maintenance has clearly been slipping over the last few years. The garden is beautiful but overgrown, we had a leak in the bathroom that could be seen from downstairs and the sofa in the restaurant looked ready to collapse and frankly dangerous. The spa pool was also looking tired but overall had a good feel about it. We were greeted by a receptionist who was cold and everything was clearly too much effort. She was verging on rude. Bar staff were slow and generally absent meaning long waits. The staff in the breakfast room and spa were the only ones taking any pride in their work and who seemed to put any effort in. They were friendly and restored some faith in our being welcome. You need to book in a time for breakfast and order hot food the night before. This would almost make sense if it was recorded so we didn’t all turn up at the same time which was the case in one of the mornings making booking a complete waste of time. The food for breakfast was mediocre and prevented us from staying in for dinner. Having said all of that we enjoyed our stay because we had a cottage with a private garden and hot tub. The hot tub was clean and worked well with no bad smells which is not always the case. The spa facilities were good and the staff there were friendly and helpful. There is a croquet lawn which was great fun although no one on reception ever knew where the set was up kept. Overall it felt like a hotel that needs some tlc.

Everything was perfect for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly and efficient and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. The Spa and Bistro bar were great; the fact that you can use the spa facilities on check-out day was a great bonus ( at no extra charge). Our bed and bedding were super- comfortable, it was quiet and the gardens were lovely.

Wonderful staff, location and amenities. A really lovely hotel in a charming Cotswolds village. We paid extra for a superior room and it was very, very nice. Large room with a massive bathroom with bath and shower on the top floor. Extremely comfy large bed. Chaise lounge, desk for working, fireplace etc. Couldn't fault the room. Had 3 very good nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious, nice to be able to pre book the cooked breakfast in advance. Sonia the waitress stood out as being very personable and friendly. Dinner was incredible, we had 3 courses including the cote de boeuf with wine. No complaints at all. Staff very friendly and accommodating and helped my pregnant wife with her bags when we arrived. The spa was also very nice and relaxing, lovely hydrotherapy pool and steam room.

Receptionist was very pleasant at check in, which was also quick. Room was spacious and very clean. Shower had lots of hot water and was easily adjustable. Very quiet overnight, apart from one occupant of a nearby room who came and went from her room around midnight, allowing doors to slam. I did not get breakfast during my stay, but I know the breakfast area was conveniently located in an adjacent building. Parking was very convenient. Would definitely stay again.

All good, except the breakfast was served nearby in the motorway services food area, at a place called the 'Good breakfast' the breakfast itself was Ok (just Ok), the two members of their staff that I encountered two mornings running were not, the one chap that served the breakfast to me, needs a lesson in how to be friendly, the other was down right rude, and if you worked for me would no longer have a job! So 'Days inn' be warned the 'Good breakfast' with some of its staffs attitude is ruining all YOUR hard work!!

Very nice room, clean and comfortable. Bed was lovely and firm with extra pillows if needed. Shower was clean and had a hair and shower gel dispenser. Really good nights stay.

Great friendly service. Clean room. Good WiFi. Tv. Shops and restaurants next door in the main services building. Attentive staff Couldn’t have asked for more.

The accommodation was cheap and cheerful if you are looking for something basic. The staff are warm and friendly and very helpful when you arrive or even if you have any further queries with the reception. If I was staying up that way again, I would use their service again and recommend any one to use them in future. I definitely wouldn't recommend their breakfast. I think you should have an option for Breakfast.

It’s the best place to stay for a weekend away in wonderful Chipping Campden village. Walking distance to the town, the area it’s peaceful and quiet. The place is well designed and very cosy. It was very thoughtful of the owners to prepare some snacks and drinks for us. The little lights around the jacuzzi and the garden creating stunning atmosphere specially in the evening. Would definitely recommend this place.

The location was perfect, close to the high street near some lovely walks, restaurants, cafes and shops. The property was quiet, private, modern, comfy and clean. The breakfast selection / hot drinks were a lovely welcome. The towels, robes and slippers for the hot tub were a great extra. Very cosy and relaxing stay.

Fabulous little find! The property was perfect for a relaxed weekend in the Cotswolds. It’s modern, clean and tidy and really well equipped. The hot tub was gorgeous-so inviting even in the January weather. Victoria is a fabulous host, leaving little extra touches that made it just perfect-such as robes and slippers for the hot tub and a welcome basket with tea bags, bread, milk and juice. The property is a ten minute stroll through the prettiest village to restaurants, pubs and cafes. There’s so much to choose from. We enjoyed breakfast in 42nd east bakehouse (and took some treats home for later!) and had some lovely meals and drinks in the eight bells inn. A gorgeous stay, I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Everything cannot fault it! When I say i can’t fault this place i mean it. Everywhere was lovely, clean and tidy. There was a welcome hamper for when we arrived which was very much appreciated and enjoyed by me and my partner:) The bed was super comfy (one of the most comfy beds we’ve slept in). Saw a few reviews complaining about the size of the bed but this was very clearly outlined when booking it’s a double bed. My partner is 6 foot and i’m 5’10 and we fit absolutely fine in the bed so had absolutely no issues there. Was a super cozy property. We loved how the living area and bedroom were separate. The hot tub was lovely and very well looked after. We definitely made the most out of it!!It is in a brilliant location we only had to drive max 25 mins to any village or location we wanted to visit. Communication with the host was exceptional, she was super lovely to speak to and any questions we had she was very quick to respond. If we ever came back to the Cotswolds we would 100% stay here again!!

The property was a perfect location for a break visiting The Cotswolds. The accommodation was well presented with a modern shower and decor. We loved the use of the hot tub after a busy day enjoying the summer evenings. The hot tub was clean and well maintained.

We loved the chic minimalistic decor and style of the apartment. The property was clean and tidy. It was well located close to the amenities - 12 minutes drive to Warwick Castle. We had and amazing balcony with beautiful views. The staff were exceptional. We received one of the best customer service in a long while. We had ice and a bucket, extra towels when requested and they had gave us a surprise. There is also a a lovely terrace and bar that serve amazing cocktails and yummy food. Big shout out to Simran and the team.. You made our stay worth it and added to the experience.

Excellent location, spotlessly clean, friendly staff at restaurant on ground floor, quiet and peaceful, huge TV screen for kids, very good facilities...hot showers etc, spacious. Loved the roof terrace with views of the river.

A sympathetic renovation of a beautiful Regency building. Our apartment was minimalist in style with clean modern lines but retaining original features. Loved the decor, the fit-out and the views over the river and Jephson Gardens. The rooms were very clean, warm and very comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied with fitted hob and cooker, fridge, freezer, sink and dishwasher. It also had ample cupboard space. We needed advice and extra equipment during our stay and the staff and management in the Terrace Restaurant on the ground floor were outstanding, unflappable and unfailingly helpful.

It is ideally located in centre of town, a park across the road and river that runs by the apartment. The church bells rang on Sunday morning at 11am which was nice. The downside for some would be the noise from the road and bar downstairs but the convenience of being in town centre means there would be some noise so we did not mind. There is 20 mins parking outside in layby by baths or 2 hours across small park to unload then car park has ability to pay 24 hours at a time on phone. It has good fixtures and fittings, however the cleaning is poor in some rooms. The toilet in one ensuite in the had not been cleaned before we came which was disgusting. Bin had not been emptied and I had to clean the shower before I could use it and there is tile cement on the door. No book to let you know how to get hold of owner or recycling rules, means of escape if there was a fire etc. Kitchen equipment was basic (not enough for 4 people) exactly 4 of each item of cutlery so if you used them to cook you had to wash them up with used washing up sponge and given how cheap they are. There was a microwave but no bowls to cook anything in it and no baking trays. There are only 3 bar stools at the breakfast bar and no dining table so luckily there was only 2 of us. The goods points definitely outweighed the bad and would definitely stay again but hopefully the owners have read this review and made some changes as these small issues let it down sadly.

The apartment was laid out over five floors (including the entrance and a laundry room) - which made it quirky and more enjoyable. Couldn't believe the amount of space! The copper bath in the bedroom was amazing. Brilliant location - we enjoyed delicious cocktails in the bar downstairs. Great to have the hosts readily available in case of any issues. Beautiful park, restaurants and shops within 1 minute walk.

Everything is perfect: clean, comfortable, and luxurious. Attention to detail is phenomenal: Janet and Stuart have thought of everything, from the room itself with its gorgeous decor, comfortable bed and spotless bathroom facilities; to the fantastic breakfast choices which are delicious, fresh and plentiful. They have made this historic property feel so welcoming and cosy. The location is spot-on for exploring Warwick on foot, including the Castle; or for driving to Leamington, Stratford, and numerous National Trust properties.

I had a wonderful stay at Park Cottage! From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed - Janet is a lovely host, so warm and friendly! The cottage itself is full of history and character, yet it’s very comfortable and well-maintained. My room was spotless, cosy, and beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfortable, and I slept really well. The breakfast was delicious - freshly cooked hy Stuart, generous portions and served in a lovely historic room. The location couldn’t be better, literally next to Warwick Castle and just a short walk into town for shops and restaurants. I’d absolutely recommend Park Cottage to anyone visiting Warwick and will definitely stay again next time I’m in the area :)

Park Cottage is an amazing place to stay with a long history and the most friendly owners . Janet was an exceptional host with a great knowledge of Warwick and things we could do during our all to short stay An excellent breakfast served in a charming breakfast room. Our room was very comfortable with everything spotlessly clean, The situation of the cottage is within a very short walking distance of restaurants, bars,shops , castle and many places of interest, Bonus is parking available .

Lovely cosy quaint cottage in perfect location, host was lovely & very welcoming beds were so comfy we both had an amazing sleep. Breakfast lovely and served in a quaint room along with the other guests host was very chatty and welcomed all her guests and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely & tasty was great!! Definitely would stay at this beautiful place again if visiting Warwick.

Very tastefully decorated and clean property, handsome both outside and inside. Spacious parking. Greeted upon arrival by John and Sue, who made us feel very welcome right away. Every room smelled nice, beds clean and comfy, and there's a charming reading nook at the top of the stairs. Breakfast was beautifully done, tasty, prepared hot and carefully timed to arrive when each visitor was ready for the main course. Cereal, toast and yoghurt already present on a side table to start the meal off. Tea and coffee offered immediately upon entering the pretty and cosy dining room by our friendly and attentive hosts. Good view of a lovely garden and the green hills beyond. Peggy the pooch is always game for a good head scratch and a game of catch. Be sure to say hi!

The room was spacious with a good view over the gardens and landscape and beyond. Tea-making facilites were good (with biscuits) and the bed was comfortable and cosy. There was an extra wardrobe room, which added to the spacious feel. The bathroom was clean. Breakfast was delicious - especially the mushrooms. Location was brilliant for Stratford - 8 minutes by car (apparently 45 on foot, though I didn't try that). Very friendly hosts. Old farm house with lots of character

Ingon farm was a very comfortable traditional farmhouse, spotlessly clean and as quiet as a church mouse at night. The hosts john and sue where just so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was traditional with fresh fruit and cereal to start, beautiful coffee, and full english. The Farm is 10 mins from Stratford upon Avon, 20 mins from Nec, and very accessible for the Motorway network around the midlands. We enjoyed the wildlife around the farm, and general countryside feel. we will be back.

Ingon Bank Farm is just lovely, as are the hosts! We were greeted warmly when we arrived and shown to our lovely room which was incredibly clean and very comfortable. The views were beautiful and it was such a peaceful location. We slept really well and the breakfast was delicious, setting us up for our day. The hosts were friendly and helpful and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

What it says on the can. Very clean and comfortable bed, warm welcome from John and sue. All we need, kettle, tea, coffee clean toilet and shower. Breakfast exceptional with fresh produce, not supermarket bacon and sausage. Small menu if you want. Very picturesque rural setting 2 miles from Stratford, Warwick nearby with 30 mins drive to such as Worcester and banbury. Will be going back.

Wow... I really can't praise this lovely bed and breakfast enough..Diana and Jim were the perfect hosts 34yrs of hosting experience definitely showed. Hotel was spotless with a very welcoming atmosphere,our double room located on top floor was amazing super comfortable firm bed with very comfortable pillows ,there were tea,coffee and sugar sachets and kettle on dresser , there was a sofa and a table with 2 chairs in the room the bathroom was plenty big enough with a sink,toilet and shower cubicle. There was toilet paper, hand soap and shower gel provided also a powerful hair dryer in dresser along with a lovely bedspread if you got chilly and a powerful fan if you were too warm . Breakfast was served in dining room choices of cereal,yogurt,fruit freshly cooked omelette,full English breakfast, vegetarian breakfast food was delicious 😋 Located on first floor was a well stocked communal kitchen with crockery, tea,coffee,sugar kettle toaster microwave fridge iron and ironing board Everything you need for a comfortable relaxed stay

What a delightful B&B. The owners were such a friendly couple and very knowledgeable about the area. The room was beyond our expectations. The size was perfect and very comfortable (also very clean). We had access to a kitchen so that we could pick up food at the store and cook/refrigerate it. That helped. I can tell you that the breakfast was so delicious and appealing to the eye. The breakfast room was warm and cozy. You will never find any place better than this or better owners. Do yourself a favor, stay here. Easy walk from the bus stop and local town and sites.

I’ve really enjoyed my stay at the Avoncot Guest House. The hospitality was exceptional, the room clean, bright and spacious, big breakfast selection available and the cooked breakfast was delicious and the host supper friendly. There is a kitchen to use during the stay so we could make hot drinks and more. We could check in earlier and also could leave our luggage before and after the checkout and the location was perfect for our short stay.

The bedroom was comfortable and quiet with several nice touches. The bathroom was very clean and the shower exceptionally good. Breakfast was copious and delicious. I had an excellent omelette. The owners were friendly and helpful. The house is in easy walking distance of the town and theatres.

Alex was there to greet us when we arrived, she had given us a quiet room at the rear of the house as requested, the room was huge, 1 dble, 1 single, lovely comfy beds, clean fresh bedding, room was a little too warm for us ladies of a certain age, but a lovely big window that we could open sorted that out, bathroom was lovely, spotless, plenty of tea and coffee, the house was so quiet, Alex asked what we hoping to do whilst we were there, 2 ladies meeting up who wanted to chat, eat and drink so she marked on a map restaurant's and bars to visit, all close by and also best walks ect, all in all it was great, the only let down was the trains, which I will never set foot on again, I will drive in future,

The guesthouse is very well located near numerous cafes for breakfast and restaurants for dinner. The hostess was enthusiastic and informative which made us feel very welcome. The property was bright, fresh and clean. The room was comfortable with free WiFi and Netflix if required. The tea tray had a nice selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate with delicious biscuits . It was good value for money especially as it had free parking which was appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay

The place was easy to find and information relating to parking was helpful. There was a bit of communication about difficulties checking us in, but quickly solved via Whatsapp and access to a key safe. Alexandra was more than helpful. The room was great - really nicely decorated with very comfy beds. Good selection of tea / coffee and biscuits - spacious shower room. Good value for money - and there was a sitting room downstairs, though we didn't actually use that. Great central location for all Stratford offers - we were going to the theatre and that was just a short walk. Plenty of eating places nearby - a very useful guest information pack gives details. Definitely a place we will return to.

Our room was lovely .. clean and had everything you need . Location is perfect - close to all cafes and places to see. Our Host Alex was amazing .. she is so lovely and helpful advising all about the local area with a map and restaurant choices. I had my elderly Mum with me and I had booked on first floor and Alex immediately kindly offered the ground floor upgrade room ..and at no extra cost. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back ! My Mum has mobility issues and Alex gave us a lift to the nearby restaurant for dinner which was so very kind of her. Highly recommend this accomodation.

The host Alex was very friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in (I was upgraded) was SO clean and fresh. Comfortable and good facilities - like the complimentary tea and coffee. Added bonus was the fact the tv had access to Netflix. I just wanted to relax in the evening after a long day travelling so it was nice to relax and unwind.

Wow. We just loved this special hotel. What lovely service, such a friendly checkin and helpful hospitality, even coordinating an interconnecting room for us just to be helpful. The rooms were lovely. Beautifully decorated, beds comfy and quiet rooms. We loved our rooms so much we ordered breakfast in bed - eggs Royale which were delicious! So beautiful from the outside too. Car park was accessible and location just 100% perfect. Best hotel of our UK tour so far. Highly recommended. We ate at the Boathouse for dinner which I also recommend. Lovely waterside eatery.

Great stay in a very friendly hotel. Great location with a very comfortable room and bed. Had a drink in the great stocked bar and went into town for Dinner , food did look amazing in the Hotel but we had booked our restaurant a few days before. Helen the receptionist was so helpful, polite ,professional and very knowledgeable regarding the Hotel and local area. A very Happy traveler

The location was perfect for visiting the town as everything was on its doorstep. The rooms were historical but comfortable and the whole decor incorporated the history of the building with the modern day. The whole team from reception to breakfast and bar went above and beyond and were friendly, welcoming and attentive. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Breakfast was excellent with a large choice both on the continental and the cooked food was well presented and tasted great. We also ate a meal in the bar and again this was really good and tasty. Every member of staff we interacted with were friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Hotel really clean and well maintained, our room big and comfortable with all the amenities you could want. The outside garden area is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a drink. Overall a really great experience staying here and I would recommend this hotel to others as a great choice.

This was our first stay at the Hotel Indigo in Stratford and I have to say it was an absolute delight. From the moment we walked in the door the staff were welcoming and accommodating. We were welcomed and shown to our room which was utterly stunning. It felt cosy and warm, we were delighted. The room was clean and had all amenities and some complimentary drinks and snacks. We chose to have the breakfast which was fantastic. Local ingredients, all fresh, with a great selection across the breakfast bar. All in all, we loved our stay and we can't wait to go back.

The guest house was welcoming and very clean. Sharon met us at the door and was extremely bubbly and friendly. We were able to choose our breakfasts via a tick sheet on arrival and pick a time we would like to eat which I thought was very organised. This meant when we got to our table in the morning, the waiting time was limited and our breakfasts arrived very quickly. Breakfast itself was absolutely delicious. Sharon even provides vegetarian options. The room was lovely - shower pressure okay, but that can't be helped, and it was still a very lovely and hot shower. Plenty of fresh bedding and there was everything you could need for a comfortable stay in the room. Sharon even provided an ironing board and iron for me on request. Parking is available if booked and located just over the road (literally a minute walk). Location was very quiet even on a main road and the town centre and Shakespeare's Birthplace and New Place a short 5 - 10 minute walk, with Anne Hathaway's Cottage also a little walk away. Perfect location to be honest. All in all, we absolutely loved our stay and will be back.

Sharon is a fabulous host, very friendly and welcoming. She goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. The breakfast was spot on and the bedroom was very clean, with every little detail perfect - good little tea/coffee tray, box of tissues, mints, hair dryer, socket at bedside tables, hairdryer, hangers, hand soap and shower gel that smelt amazing - even a nail file just as I needed one. Would definitely stay here again

It was close to the town which was ideal for our trip. Sharon the owner was absolutely lovely and very welcoming, let us check in early too which was fab of her. The room was stunning, very comfy bed, en suite, tea coffee, biccies, and towels for us. We chose our own breakfast on a tick list that we had to pop in a lil box. Full English items, eggs 3 ways, fresh fruit, yoghurt and granola, and cereal all options, as well as fresh juice. Bacon was thick and absolutely gorgeous, all piping hot and lurpak butter that's always a 10/10 for us!! The fruit was fresh and tart, and the coffee was the best I've tasted this year!!!! Will definitely return!!!

It was very clean and smelt fresh when we walked in! Sharon is an amazing host and even texted the day before to ask if we wanted an early check in. The room was very clean and fresh. Breakfast was hot,fresh and tasty The location is very close to the centre and we found parking to be easy.

Light, airy, spacious room and bathroom. Great shower. Lots of lovely touches like hot chocolate, bottled water and biscuits. Plenty of tea and coffee. Comfortable bed. Location was convenient. About a mile from the station and a mile into the town centre. Delicious breakfast. Friendly and helpful host, Bill. Would definitely stay here again if I'm in Stratford.

Our stay at Moss Cottage was beyond what we could imagine. We were welcomed at the door by a smiling host and offered a delicious tea and home made cake in beautiful cups and saucers. The place had all the creature comforts one could expect in a 5 star hotel. It was beautifully furnished with exquisite fixtures and fittings and a beautiful tea tray with biscuits laid out in the bedrooms. The place was so clean you could have eaten off the floor. The beds were incredibly comfortable with top class linen. The two gentlemen hosts were so friendly and helpful. The next morning a slap up full English breakfast was served with pride. We have never ever stayed in such a wonderful, warm and welcoming place. I give this place 10 out of 10 and a hundred gold stars. Thank you to these kind wonderful hosts for making our stay so memorable . We were sorry to leave. We cannot recommend this place more highly enough. Well done. Excellence personified.

The host bob was very friendly and helpful he went out of his way to make us feel welcome and to enjoy our stay. He was very helpful giving us directions and was very knowledgeable about Stratford-upon-Avon. The breakfast was delicious. The property is small which has 3 rooms which adds to the family like feeling whilst dining. The room is basic but pleasant enough with simple decoration. It is very clean and has a nice ensuite bathroom. It's a 15 to 17 minute walk to the town so it is fairly close to being able to access the town by walking as we didn't travel to Moss cottage by car and the buses run infrequently but the number 28 does serve that area. The host was knowledgeable about the theatre and gave us a guide of the play which was invaluable. It was a very enjoyable stay and we would of liked to of stayed longer it's suitable for a couple or staying as a single person. We recommend wholeheartedly staying in this property.

The service provided by the owner was top quality as was the friendliness and care that was given during our stay . We were given maps and local knowledge that we found really useful for navigating the local area and town centre we even got a discount voucher for a local cafe . The cleanliness of the property was amazing everything fresh and clean and the en suite bathroom had a huge shower big enough for two.the breakfast choice was just perfect at a time of our choosing and the full English breakfast was cooked perfectly. I would give this B&B 10/10 and will definitely visit again . The best thing about our stay was the kindness of the owner who helped us get baggage to the train station .

Before we arrived the hosts were extremely helpful and when we arrived they were immediately welcoming without being intrusive. Once we had settled we were offered filtered coffee (or tea) and then the hosts offered their extensive knowledge of the area to help us make our stay more enjoyable. This hospitality transformed our ‘stay over’ into a ‘holiday’. Although we were only there for one night, it felt like a proper break. The room was perfect with lots of attention to the smallest of details: bottled water by the bedside, biscuits with the tea and coffee facilities and shampoo / body wash in the bathroom. The breakfast the following morning was superb with home made jams and marmalades making the meal even more personal. I would highly recommend Moss Cottage.

This pub is a great place to base yourself for a stay in the Cotswolds. Located within the shadow of St. James's Church at the eastern end of Chipping Campden, it is in a quiet spot but everything in the village is easily within walking distance. Parking can be an issue. There is no dedicated car park for the inn and it is all on-street parking. Visiting at the end of November, we had no issues finding a spot near the inn but I can imagine in the height of the season, this could be a problem. We stayed for two nights and ate in the restaurant on one of those nights. The breakfast is cooked fresh-to-order and portions are utterly sufficient to set one up for the day. Dinner too was very good to the extent that a stroll around the village was required afterwards to aid digestion! The bar area is typically that of a country pub. There is a roaring fire in the season and the range of well-kept cask ales is impressive. The staff are all friendly souls and we were made to feel like very welcome guests and not merely transient travellers. Our room (no. 1) was wonderfully warm and the bed was supremely comfortable. The bathroom was a generous size and the shower was such that one lingered longer than one normally would. Both room and bathroom were impeccably clean. I have no hesitation in recommending the Eight Bells Inn.

The location was perfect and despite not having designated parking, there was more than enough room to park directly outside. The room was very comfortable and very well presented. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable which can sometimes be hit and miss. The shower was very big and had everything you needed, even a shower cap. Dinner was fabulous, lots of choices for all courses. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals, really good portions too and the staff were extremely helpful, especially Libby who was friendly, didn't mind checking things and always smiled when greeting/dealing with customers.

Breakfast was excellent as was dinner in the restaurant on the one night we ate there. Desserts a little on the pricey side. The main bar area is cosy and popular. Accommodation was good. Bed was very comfortable. We were in room 1 which was outside the back of the main pub upstairs in a separate area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Fantastic location right in the centre of the town.

We loved everything about our stay at Eight Bells Inn. The building is beautiful and full of charm. Despite the age of the Inn, the accommodations were perfect— everything was clean, our room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and bedroom were spacious. The staff were so incredibly kind and went out of their way to ensure we were well cared for. The location was ideal. Chipped Campden was quieter than some of the other towns but still had so much to offer, all within walking distance from the Inn. And while we could have ventured off to eat at other restaurants, we rarely did because of the delicious offerings Eight Bells had. Do yourself favor and stay at Eight Bells. You won’t be disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay overall. The staff were very friendly and helpful and all our meals there were amazing, particularly the Sunday roasts and Chicken and Pork pies. We had great weather and it was fun having a pint on their outdoor terrace. The bed in our room was very comfortable and the shower a pleasure to use. I highly recommend this Inn for a visit to Cotswolds. Rick Steeves was bang on when he highlighted the Eight Bells Inn.

Quiet and comfortable hotel with excellent facilities. Spacious room very clean and comfortable. Very central. Could walk to theatre and river etc. Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was a high standard with plenty of choice.

This hotel is top notch. Best location, best beds, best breakfast and on and on. The room is just lovely. The bathroom is spotless, big and the nicest I have ever enjoyed at any hotel in my travels. The beds are super comfy, absolutely 5 star in a beautifully decorated room well lit. The 2 ladies at reception, Dew and Sammy were extremely nice and efficient. Little cookies upon departure was a sweet touch and appreciated. The location is set in town center and every place is walkable including the train station which we arrived from. Lovely area is super convenient. The breakfast was delicious. Had ala carte and buffet. Chose ala carte for the English breakfast was yummy. Thomas and Julie were there with hot coffee/tea several times when cup needed refill. Both of these servers were super efficient. One of the best hotels since 1600s historical period still pleases both the eyes and the tummy, for sure. Would return again. FOR SURE.

Absolutely fantastic stay over Christmas period. The whole building is full of character - lots of old beams, "nooks & crannies", pictures, old books in frames, lit open fires - just lovely. On this occasion the Christmas decorations were superb and just added to the ambience. All staff were superb - very friendly, always willing to help, provided great customer service and were a credit to the hotel and hospitality industry in general. Hotel location couldn't be better - right in the centre of Stratford and within easy walking distance of all sightseeing locations, pubs, restaurants, river Avon etc. We enjoyed a fantastic room towards the back of the building and experienced no untoward noise. The room offered plenty of storage, minibar in the small fridge, tea/coffee complimentary water and overall the facilities couldn't have been better particularly the overhead shower with oodles of hot water. Food was excellent and for breakfast i would absolutely recommend the "full English". Whilst breakfast service is at your table things like fruit juice/cereal/continental meats & cheese/ toast are provided on a buffet basis so you help yourself (having said that I did hear a few people ask for these items to be served to them at their table and that didn't appear to be a problem). Plenty of hot items to choose from. Overall we couldn't have asked for a better experience and are already looking forward to booking Christmas 2024!!

This is a great hotel to stay with, Lucy, Freya and Molly on the front desk remembered us from our 4 night stay last September and greeted us like family! We booked for 6 nights this time. The room was perfect, had a large wet room bathroom with safety bars and seat which was perfect. The restaurant has the best Sunday roast dinner with delicious Yorkshire pudding (nice and crisp and light). The restaurant has a menu of equally as delicious treats. And they do a great English Breakfast. The desserts were to die for! Cannot recommend this more heartily!

What a gem this hotel is! We stayed for two nights and returned home today. Every member of staff are excellent, friendly and very helpful. Our room was superb, spacious with a beautiful rolled top bath. Our breakfast was lovely and there’s so much choice from the breakfast buffet too. Our coffee was topped up regularly and Julie our server at breakfast was so nice. We even had a chat about the 60’s and 70’s! Julie’s a credit to your team. We paid £24 for two days’ parking which was not bad as the car park is situated right behind the hotel and in the centre of Stratford, saving us money on taxis. Thanks to all at The Swan Hotel for making our stay such a wonderful experience. We will be returning.

Moonraker House is a lovely property and within a 15 minute walk from the centre of Stratford. There is a small lounge/breakfast room which is well laid out and presented. Our room was a good size and had a good amount off storage, a generous amount of hangers in the wardrobe, plenty of sockets and a comfortable seating area with a view onto a small, pebble, oriental inspired garden area. The bed was extremely comfortable. The decoration was English traditional with floral paper, a four poster bed. The shower room was clean, neat and again had good storage and a shower that had a good water flow and plenty of hot water. Tea and coffee making facilities were fine, lovely tea pot and cups and quality biscuits. Loved all the little touches In the property, such as the crockery at breakfast, beautiful. The food for hot breakfasts was fresh, tasty and cooked beautifully. The coffee delicious.The host,Morris, was fantastic.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful bed and breakfast, and I cannot praise it enough. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. Morris is an excellent host. His genuine care and passion for hosting shine through in every interaction, making me feel truly valued as a guest. The location is very convenient, situated on the main road but offering a comfortable walk into historic Stratford-upon-Avon. It's also very close to the train station, making it easy to get to without a car.. The room I stayed in was cosy but comfortable, exactly what I expected. It wasn't luxury, but it had all the essentials and felt very homely. The attention to detail in the decor added a charming touch, making it a pleasant space to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Each morning, I was treated to a decent selection of breakfast options. The food was nice and provided a good start to the day. The surrounding area is beautiful, with picturesque streets and easy access to local shops and restaurants. In summary, this bed and breakfast exceeded all my expectations. It’s a charming, comfortable, and welcoming place that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Stratford-upon-Avon. Morris the host was very friendly and helpful. Our room was quiet with a comfortable bed and had a view of the garden. The bathroom was good, had a heated towel rail and a nice hot shower. We chose the vege breakfast one day and had an omlette another day which were all nice. We also had coffee and toast and Morris offered us more of both of these which was appreciated. Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits were replenished for our second day. The wifi was good.

The breakfasts were very good and there was a nice choice on the menu, always served with a friendly smile from our host. The background music was a little sombre for me but that's just personal taste, it didn't spoil our enjoyment when having breakfast. It took us around 15 minutes to walk into town each day so in the evenings we took a taxi, usually cost around £4 each way. Our room was really comfortable and clean, with clean towels each day and a nice hot shower. The tea and coffee facilities were always topped up with lot's of milk which makes a nice change from the 3 or 4 little sachets you usually get and the biscuits were always delicious. Thank you to our hosts for a lovely stay.

Morris, the owner of the B&B is absolutely lovely. He’s the consummate host- gracious, attentive, generous with his time and he makes a delicious breakfast! Our room, although on the small side, has all the amenities one needs for a comfortable stay - a comfy bed, hot shower, kettle, instant coffee, tea, cookies, bottle of water, etc. Parking is available onsite.

The B&B is located about 15 minutes from the center of Stratford-upon-Avon, in a quiet and peaceful area. The rooms are spacious and very clean, with perfectly fresh white linen. The bathroom was tidy and spotless. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the English breakfast was tasty and satisfying. A comfortable and pleasant stay overall.

We absolutely loved our stay here at Winton House, Alex and Jamie were absolutely incredible. Everything was more than we could ever have wished for. We have told everyone that we possibly can about our stay and how perfect it was. You really can see the hardwork that has gone into this beautiful house to make it the perfect get away place. From the moment we arrived, Nothing was too much trouble at all, we attended the local pub for some food too - just a short walk away from Winton House - the views on the way were also spectacular. Our breakfast really was beautiful, everything was so so fresh - since returning home, all we can think about is how perfect everything has been. We have been blown away by the beauty of this house and the surrounding area too. Everyone has been so wonderfully friendly too, we hope to become regular guests in the future too! Alex and James are exceptional hosts and we absolutely loved our stay here at Winton house. It is a great location on the north edge of the Cotswolds, in a small rural village - the stars were stunning at night! The rooms were beautifully decorated, a very warm (especially given it was winter!) and welcoming house and extremely clean bedrooms and bathrooms - spacious and beds were very comfortable, and rooms had lots of amenities. Alex gave us lots of information pre-arrival and useful directions. Check in and check out was very easy, and she helped us to book a local pub for dinner and got us a table at highly recommended place. The breakfast in the morning was very tasty and had lots of choice. We felt very well looked after. Alex went above and beyond as a host, even helping us to locate and get back an item we forgot there. We would absolutely recommend Winton House for staying in the Cotswolds, and will definitely be back!

I loved everything about this place. I booked at the last minute and everything was gloriously easy from that point on. The house is stunning. The little car park at the front works well, the view from the front of this house is quite unique - loved watching the sheep and lambs play in the field opposite. The back of the house has a beautiful garden with chickens and a outside seating area to relax at in the warmer months. My room was comfortable, spacious and had everything I needed. Bed comfy and so I had 2 great sleeps, especially as it's quiet in the area so you feel instantly at peace. Breakfast worked well and I enjoyed chatting to the very friendly staff and owners. I will be telling my friends and family about this place as it is also located in a perfect position for a countryside holiday seeing the beautiful surrounding areas. Just a wonderful experience!

Amazing B&B. Probably the best we have stayed in. Great quiet location only about 20 mins from the craziness of Stratford. Lovely hospitable Hosts. Breakfast perfect with very helpful staff. Lovely 4 poster very comfortable bed. Heaps of power points. Shower/toilet recently renewed with a great view from both the bathroom and bedroom over a lovely back garden.

Two of my friends recommended Hotel du Vin so I decided to book for my trip to the RSC at Stratford upon Avon. The location was superb - right in the centre of town. I got a hotel parking space which was so convenient. The bar and restaurant were great. The weather during our stay was fabulous so we ate dinner at the hotel's beautiful terrace and had a delicious meal. Our room also had a balcony which was perfect for a pre dinner drink. Breakfast was wonderful, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. In fact, apart from location, food and room, the friendly staff was one of the best things about the hotel. I plan to visit the Hotel du Vin in Brighton in November next. I'm a big fan now!!

What an amazing hotel! Fab location. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful rooms. We stayed on a DBB offer. The evening meal was absolutely delicious, we enjoyed both the food and service. Comfortable bed, spacious room with a balcony. The breakfast also didn’t disappoint with again super friendly and helpful staff. We certainly would visit again!

Very nice traditionally (brick) built hotel on a perfect location in the center of town. It looks very attractive from the outside surrounded by well-kept greenery. The rooms we stayed in are spacious, modernly furnished with a very comfortable bed and sofa. Some also have a balcony. The bathroom is also spacious, equipped with L'occitaine gels, shampoos and soap. There is a coffee machine in the room, which is a plus. The breakfast is tasty, plentiful, but a bit overpriced. All in all we had a lovely stay in Stratford and will definitely be back.

Beautiful countryside and property. We were welcomed warmly, the room is bright with lovely furnishings and very comfortable beds. It is very peaceful with a gorgeous countryside view. Stratford-Upon-Avon is a short drive away. The breakfast was delicious and I really appreciated the gluten free toast (which I had requested ahead of time). Wonderfully friendly hosts who are there if you need them but not intrusive. Wifi worked perfectly, smart TV with wide choice of channels, little touches like biscuits in the room and fresh milk for tea (I hate the taste of those terrible long-life milk pods) oh and an amazing shower!!

The cottage was cosy and clean, Jenny was super friendly and welcoming and saw to our every need, even bringing fresh milk so we could have a cup of tea. The first day was hot and the rooms were airy. The next day, it was cool, and the radiators were put on. The bed was large and comfortable and the breakfast was amazing! We ate at the restaurants Jenny recommended, and they were 5 star too. It was a lovely relaxing break.

From the moment we arrived the owner Alan was friendly, helpful and ensured when had what we needed and was happy during our stay. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, very clean, stylish cottage chic, the view from our bedroom window was stunning. Breakfast was beyond what we expected, we chose the cooked breakfast and you could also have some cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt and orange juice and breakfast came with a big pot of tea. We stay because we attended a wedding 10 minutes away but we will definitely be back coming back to stay and enjoy some locals hikes and the history the area has to offer.

Alan and Jenny are perfect hosts - nothing was too much trouble but we were left to enjoy our time in their home. Highly recommended.

Charming property in a lovely location. The perfect location for us to explore the surrounding area including Stratford-upon-Avon, but just far enough away to enjoy the local countryside. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, as was the whole house. Our host was both friendly and welcoming, and also provided a splendid breakfast. I would thoroughly recommend staying at Larkrise B'N'B if you want quiet countryside walks, easy access to local attractions such as Stratford-Upon-Avon or National Trust properties.
