I really enjoyed, staff was nice and friendly, breakfast was excellent and I even got cafe latte, when I asked. I got upgraded to suite room, which was amazing surprise for me. I will choose this place definitely again!

Central location for exploring the city, or taking the bus/tram to other areas. It's not too far from the railway station either. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms were very clean and had a note that they had cleaned under the bed, too. The view from our room to the bay was nice. Surprisingly busy for Christmas Eve and surrounding days, but quite quiet still.

The room was very cozy. The view from the window was breathtaking! the room was very clean. The breakfast selection exceeded expectations: there was a choice for vegans as well as gluten-free options. The reception staff are very polite and met the needs that arose during the stay at the hotel.

Everything was great. The staff was kind, the room is newly renovated with nice view and super clean, the breakfast offers many options.

Glad to have stayed here. The hotel is modern, fresh and clean. Our room was large and had a kitchenette. The windows provided good sound proofing though the room was next to the road. The surroundings around the hotel is tranquil and close to nature. Although there are limited restaurants, Mad Finn Tampere Distillery & Pizza was an amazing dining option.

Fantastic breakfast, easy parking, large, modern room with kitchenette, desk and extra sitting area, very comfortable bed, park with observation tower in walking distance. Our room was very quiet. No complaints. We would love to stay here again!

The staff were super friendly, and the bed was so cosy with soft pillows and a comfy mattress that I could have happily hibernated there for a week. The room was nice and quiet too – perfect for a proper rest.

It was very slow to open doors and at times didn't function at all, only told to 'get key card from reception'. Luckily it was daytime so we got cards that worked properly.

This modern hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the train station, though I took a taxi and paid €25 to get there. I traveled from Helsinki on the Intercity Direct train, which was a comfortable journey with few stops. The trip from Helsinki to Tampere takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes, making it quite convenient to visit multiple cities while staying in Helsinki. The hotel has a stylish reception area and a welcoming restaurant/bar section. Unfortunately, I arrived late in the evening and didn’t get a chance to enjoy the facilities, but I’d recommend setting aside time to do so. The room was a comfortable size with good lighting, best suited for leisure stays. However, as a business traveler, I found it lacking a proper desk—only a small coffee table was provided. In the future, I would check this detail before booking. The bed had a futon-like texture, and the pillows were neither goose feather or Tempur. (I may have too high expectations because I often stay at 5 star hotels because of the beds and pillows). While the service was good and the overall atmosphere was excellent, I feel the quality of the bed, pillows, and duvet could be improved. Some other four-star hotels in a similar price range offer better bedding. That said, I enjoyed my stay and may return in the future.

A little mess up with the reservation, when I made the reservation, they didn't ask me which of two Lapland hotels I'd like to stay the night at. Of course we drove to wrong one. The receptionist didn't suggest if we wanted to stay there instead of driving forward and pay 2 euros for parking for 5 minutes stay, obviously the wrong one didn't have vacancy? Anyhow the receptionist at the right hotel was very friendly and was sorry for the situation, made our day by updating the room to the better one. The rest of the visit went well. The room was very clean and although I'm not a friend of Lapland, I found the atmosphere still exotic. Also beds and pillows were so firm that no pain in the neck this time. But the breakfast! So friendly and polite staff there, wished us good mornings many times and the coffee was brought to the table. So many delicious items, smoothies, omelette bar with also a vegan version. Everything so nice and delicious that I absolutely ate way too much. So try this, it's something different from the hotels you are used to stay at.

Clean and stylish place, room was nice and quite big, love the lapland theme. Breakfast is amazing, very good quality ingridients. Also the service at breakfast was friendly. Bad things were the service at reception which was not very friendly and small bathtub in your room. Also the parking garage was terrible, parking spaces were very narrow.

Breakfast was excellent… delicious food and delightful atmosphere. For dinner, the restaurant Dabbal is wonderful. Loved the background music in the lobby and in my room on arrival. I also enjoyed the view from the window, seeing the trees. The hotel was close to the tram as well.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and I have to say I was pleasantly impressed by the kindness of the staff and the spacious, comfortable rooms. Breakfast is served from 7:00 a.m., but since I had to leave earlier for work, they kindly prepared a packed breakfast for me. Everyone was extremely helpful in making sure my stay was excellent. A great choice if you’re visiting Tampere — much better than many of the more expensive, older, and less comfortable hotels I’ve stayed at in the past.

Clean, well cooled, nice and friendly service. Parking by charge. Nise clean room and good breakfast. It was nice to stop at the cool bar for refreshments when returning to the hotel from outside heat (+30!)

We stayed in Sokos Hotel Tampere Torni just before Christmas. The hotel was peaceful and clean. The decoration in the rooms is industrial, but we found it stylish. The service is friendly and helpful. The location is great near by the railway station. We enjoyed really the breakfast in Christmas Eve morning, it was quiet and peaceful at that time. The bar in 25th floor offers very nice views, like the rooms as well. If I could hope something, I would like to have Christmas tarts at breakfast and also the sauna available in the morning since it was Christmas, but otherwise the breakfast was delicious and the saunas were available in the evening. Highly recommended hotel!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had so many options that it was nearly impossible to try them all, even the famous Tampere-specialty „Mustamakkara“. Not just the breakfast options were delicious, also the restaurant food was fantastic. Service, of course, was wonderful too. Another Highlight for me was the music gallery with a lot of exhibition pieces of famous local Artists and bands. The room was so nice and comfortable, with a stunning view. The Sky Bar is defintely a „must visit“! The Location made travelling so easy during the stay, and also to quickly be in the city center.

Good hotel in great location. Room was spacious (corner room on the 9th floor), had a tub, was in good condition and tidy. Bed/mattress nice (not too soft), pillows were the type where you lay your head on it and it goes flat right away. There were three pillows per person so when stacked, it was ok, but not optimal for the neck. There’s a spacious gym with saunas which is great! Dinner and breakfast at Grill It! Were tasty and of good quality. At breakfast there was a looot to choose from which was nice, tho not necessarely needed. Service was so friendly and attentive at all spots, thanks for that! Location within walking distance of railway station and shopping area, theatres, sports venues and Tamperetalo, a concert hall. All in all this was a good spot to stay for a short while for both work and a day off.

The hotel had its good point and bad points. Good - fine location, excellent re-purposing of old railway architecture, great views from the Skybar on the top of the hotel, well-stocked gym, minibar with enough space to stuff in my own things, bubble bath(!), good breakfast buffet, enough space in the room to put things. Bad - bed could have been more comfortable, service in the buffet was spotty, room could not be adequately cooled down on hot days, and the check-in took absurdly long and was badly organized. On the whole, a respectable member of the Sokos chain. I'd probably choose it again.

Renovated extremely well. Very beautiful old building now in excellent condition. Good beds, new matresses, clean and stylish bathroom, Excellent staff, smiling, greeting and giving an exceptional service. Coffee pot delivered to our breakfast table in 10 seconds after we sat down! Breakfast was also very good.

Visiting from Ireland. The hotel is in a nice, quiet, setting with views of the river. It has an Art Deco feel and the staff are extremely accommodating and friendly. The rooms are generously sized, and there is ample choice at breakfast. I spent four days and thoroughly enjoyed my time at the hotel, and in Tampere. I would stay here again.

Hotel Tammer is a classic old hotel that has been maintained and upgraded without losing its charm. The room was beautiful and clean. It had a great breakfast buffet. We had our dog with us and they accommodated him with a small hospitality kit (treats, poop bags and a loaner food bowl. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

The hotel is stylish, beautiful, and truly luxurious — like something out of a Wes Anderson's movie. There is the atmosphere of vintage glamour, but everything looks fresh and well-kept. Breakfast was absolutely superb, served in a stunning dining hall with a view of the fountain. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city, next to the river.

Two bedrooms, big living room, private sauna, balcony, and kitchen with everything we needed. Very friendly and helpful staff. And just behind the hotel (2 minutes by car) there is a very nice public sauna at the lake. Very beautiful view over the lake. Nice experience to go to the public sauna and jump in the lake.

We had a big apartment at the 6th floor. It was a one bedroom apartment with livingroom, kitchen, balcony, toilet and shower and sauna. Views were beautiful: we could see the Näsilake. There were also washingmachine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, water cooker, cafe machine, fridge with freezer,m, two television: the aparmenr was fully equipped. We love it.

The friendly staff, happy to help with any requests. This is my happy place when I visit Tampere. I would not stay anywhere else , the location is perfect with beautiful views of the harbour and lake, close to transport and you can walk into town if you want to.

I absolutely loved my apartment, everything I needed was there, the view was beautiful. The reception staff very helpful and friendly indeed. The surroundings around the building very lovely, especially the walk by the lake. The buses very accessible too.

We didn't see the staff as we arrived very late, but we were given instructions where the room keys were. There was a parking lot outside the hotel. We liked the hotel, even though we only spent one night!

Hotel located in a quiet area away from the city centre, which can be both good and bad, depending on your needs. Good access roads, tram line right outside the hotel (we didn't use it). Room had a working air con, beds were comfy. Complimentary candies (good ones!) in the reception area :) Arrival instructions were great and communication swift.

This hotel is centrally located near everything. The rooms are quiet. The accessible tram is available from the hotel. The accessible room was spacious and the folding shower chair was handy. The room door was heavy and a push button to open door would be a great improvement. The breakfast was ample and tasty, the room was easy to navigate with wheelchair. The staff offered help actively. As an improvement I would add service to bring juice and coffee jugs to the table. Getting refills to those tiny mugs was the only inconvenience. The hotel was clean, parking was good (bit tight corridor from parking to lobby - note that larger wheelchairs can easily access via main doors). Despite the central location the rooms were quiet. The teens had a bath tub in their room and had fun. We will definately visit again as the hotel is close to rock venues and the new arena. Thanks to Palmuasema/Sanna tip - this was the best accessible experience so far

Spacious and clean room, very quiet despite the central location next to the railway station and road. We asked for a room with a bath tub and received it. The bath tub was easy to fill and comfortable to lay in. We got all the information we needed during check-in, including offer on sauna reservation which we didn't take up on this time. There was also a gym, didn't check out that one either. The mini bar had some drinks and chips available for extra cost. Breakfast selection was amazing, besides the usual (croissants, porridge, bacon, scrambled eggs, etc) there was for example spinach/carrot crepes, vegan overnight oats and a whole gluten free section.

Positive: The hotel itself made a very good impression. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. Negative: The laminate flooring in my room was quite worn and didn’t look nice anymore — that bothered me. Conclusion: A pleasant stay with great service and a tasty breakfast. If the flooring gets updated, it would be close to perfect.

We had a lovely stay at hotel Kauppi. The hotel is small and cosy, breakfast was really nice and the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and were also very well equipped (bath robes, slippers, tea, coffee, vanity kits, etc.). Location was great too - it’s in a very quiet neighbourhood. It’s a 15-20 min walk to the city centre, but there’s also a bus stop right next to the hotel that stops at the train station. The staff were really friendly and very polite, they made us feel welcome. Definitely recommend and will be happy to be back 😊

Very friendly staff. We came for Tampere Juoksee and arrived at 11:00h, we were already allowed to check in. Room is clean and spacious with very wide bed. There's not only a fridge and water kettle to make coffee and tea, but even a microwave. We didn't hear any noice from other rooms or in the hallway. The breakfast is excellent with vegan options: yoghurt, soy yoghurt, homemade blueberry overnight oats, dried and fresh fruit, different kind of bread, eggs, pancakes, meats, vegetables, cakes and cookies. It was nice to see some things that are not usually included like savoury tomato muffins and quinoa-spelt croissants. Swimming pool in basement, which we had to ourselves in the morning. Free parking.

We did like the reception staff, really warm and friendly. We got really lovely welcome. The location was good for us. The shower was large and the bed really comfy. The little kitchen with fridge, kettle and microwave was helpful. The breakfast was good and offered enough variety. Even if we didn't have the time to go sauna or to the swimming pool, we appreciated to have thosesetvices available.

Service was very good, we felt welcomed from the very start. Travelling with a baby was super convenient with the free parking and micro wave oven & refrigerator in the room. Overall the hotel was quiet and comfortable. Good breakfast too! We would come back again.

Amazing location next to the station. Incredible breakfast and staff that were so friendly and helpful. You can enter directly off Platform 1 of the train station. There are amazing supermarkets nearby as well as trams and the area is very safe. The main downside would be the standard rooms, they are fairly small, dated and dingy and not particularly comfortable to spend time in.

Location was perfect, staff very helpful, room clean and comfy! Breakfast had so many good options and was really tasty :)

This hotel is ideal when travelling with train. It is just cross the street. It is also very central, next to all sercives but still peaceful. I have always stayed in inner cort room. My wishes on room have always been noted. Personel is friendly and easy to approach. Rooms are spacious and clean. I only expected there to be water boiler, but there was not. It was just my expectation based on general experiances in hotels, I did not check is it included in the room.Breakfast had choices for everyone. Everything was so generous and good quality that I expected more from bread. This is the only minus I can mention. Bread was ok, but it did not meet other breakfast level.

This hotel meets my high standards for enjoyable hotel stay perfectly. The location is as central as it can be next to Stockmann’s department store and railway station. The room interior inspired by nature in superior room was relaxing with amazing bed. And the breakfast was the best ever experienced in Tampere hotels: well organized with lot of choice and all fresh, including local speciality, black sausage. 10/10 points from me!

Great location across the train station and about 20min walk from the central Buss station. Comfortable if a bit dated room and bathroom with no view. Quiet room, comfortable bed. Aircon did not work very well (temp could not be lowered) and windows did not open (safety measure) so it would have been hot if the weather was hotter. Breakfast was good. We could leave luggage in the locked storage room before the 4pm check in and again the next day after checking out.

We went to the Guns 'N Roses concert. The hotel is located only 5 minutes walking distance from the Ratina Stadium. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was also delicious and plenty to choose from. Also, there is a 7-storey parking house on the side of the hotel for a 19€ per night which is quite convenient.

Loved this hotel. Located within 10 mins of the harbour on a quiet-ish street this was ideal. Staff were superb - allowing me to leave luggage during the day (check in was 4pm but I was booked on a trip from 3pm - 11.30pm) and retrieve it when I checked in. The room was spacious and well appointed and the bathroom/wetroom had underfloor heating to help dry any slow drainage from the shower. Breakfast was a good selection also

This exceeded our expectations - an excellent, well-equipped apartment room - and very suitable for a family with children like ourselves - the superb bathroom including mobility grab rails and plenty of space for the walk-in shower, easy disabled access too if needed. Easy, free safe parking next to the room for our rental car, supermarkets and some good restaurants right next door too. And full marks for all the free food in the room and fridge ready for our arrival (and for breakfast in room next few days). Location fine - an easy car-drive to the town centre - or park the car for a day (as we did) and take the bus! Very happy with our stay here - we would certainly return...

Spent 4 nights at the Scandic Rosendahl hotel in Tampere, Finland with our tour group WAI for the IVV Olympiad. Large, well-run hotel with comfortable, clean rooms, a restaurant, bar, and many other amenities. Located in green spaces on the Villilansalmi (lake) and only 1.5 km walk to downtown, or - ride the #10 city bus right to Keskustori square. Had a large banquet dinner for 80+ tour members the first night, and a smaller dinner with friends on another night. All the food was terrific. Big breakfast (hit or cold) was included. Not cheap - on Trip A starts around $350/night, but worth it if you want this level of accommodations.

Oh I just loved the hotel and everyone working there! The reception staff were extremely helpful. I was able to keep my dog's frosen food in their freezer for example, and the backdoor out from my floor worked extremely well, since I was albe to walk my dog out of there without having to worry about meeting other dos in the stairway, since it wasn't possible to come in using the same door. It was really relaxed to live there. I also got towels for my dog and some treats as well (even though a big dog could have enjoyed even more of them). And I received a discount ticket to Musti ja Mirri, a pet store in Finland. And oh my God how beautiful and easy surroundings there were for walking the dog. It was wonderful, since we spent hours walking by the beach and in the park. The restaurant staff were overwhelmingly supportive and served with such care, which I haven't met often in my life. I started to plan a vacation to Rosendal. I can't imagine how beautiful it might be during the summer with a beach and swimming possibilities so close that I could go easily for swim in the mornings before breakfast.

Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Great views and outdoor activities. Our stay was only overnight but everything went very well. We arrived late and wished the restaurant would serve a little later on weekends. However we got the food which was great. Breakfast was good and varied.

We had a lovely stay at the Rosendahl, room was spacious - with a lakeview (and a tub!). We used the hotel bikes to visit the city, and the route was super nice! Reception staff didnt give any information without specifically asking (breakfast time, check out time, pool / sauna hours, parking).. which was the only nuisance we had. Sauna was cold in the morning, which was a disappointment. Hotel was tidy and breakfast delicious. Would accommodation here again!

Driving by car, the location is perfect. Breakfast was excellent. The room was a standard hotel room, but it was quiet, clean and cool.

Erittäin siisti, turvallinen (olimme kolmen lukitun oven takana, huoneessa vartijan kutsunappi) ja helppo hotelli (ovikoodit, ei uloskirjautumista). Aamiaisella oli erikseen pyytämättä myös gluteenitonta tarjolla ja aamiaistilassakin siistiä ja puhdasta ja mm. erillinen kylmätiski.

Positiivisella tavalla persoonallinen hotelli. Ilmainen pysäköinti. Aamiainen ok, tosin appelsiinimehua jäi kaipaamaan. Lähistöllä ei ruokailumahdollisuuksia, mutta bussit liikkuvat yömyöhälläkin lähistöltä ja ei Ratinaan kauaa kestä kävellenkään. Tulen uudestaankin.

Hinta- laatusuhde kohdillaan. Helppoa. Aamupalalla rauhallista ja sopivasti oli aamupalaa vaikka ei mikään gourmee sentään mutta hotellin hintaan nähden kyllä tosi hyvä. Sängyt hyvät nukkua.

The hotel is in the middle if the city and if you get a room on the upper floors you can have an amazing view. The staff was nice, not overly friendly though. There is a pool and sauna and a big playroom, so the hotel is very suitable with kids. Also a big playground next to the hotel. Good restaurant with a quite wide, though very hotel-y choice menu. Nice breakfast. The corridors are very 70s. Basic but nice rooms. Quite hot though and I think you cannot adjust the heat. There is a selection of pillows, but they felt the same, so we ended up using two, because they were quite small and soft. Good beds. Overall definately recommending this hotel.

An excellent location for easy access. It was really easy to get into and out of the centre of Tampere using the tram. It was only a 5 minute walk to the tram stop and the trams were clean, comfortable and frequent. A good, clean property, and as described. The sauna in the bathroom was great! The property was an apartment in the middle of a housing block comprising both local residents and visitors in the same block, and the area was very quiet. This might make it unsuitable for noisy holidaymakers, but it was good to get a feel for local living and good for families. The people on the phone and online were helpful and friendly.

I loved how spacious this apartment was! Pet friendly-with lovely nature around for dog walks, nice and quiet location, free parking, only 10 min drive from the centre. The sauna was a big plus and there is even a small terrace outside.

Very spacious and clean with smart TV and sauna with heated bathroom floor. Modern apartment! roughly 10/15 minute drive to city centre. 5 minute drive to a Supermarket.

It's like home apartment, well located and for a good price. We came to Finland to visit friends who lived not so far, so the distance from Tampere center was not critical. But it's super comfortable to use modern trams, in about 15 minutes it's possible to get to the city center and the stop is in 3 minutes from the apartment. So, location is really good and it's also a very calm place. I've already recommended it to my friends.

Really spacious and lovely. You always know what you get with this place, but this time the room was particularly spacious and nice. There's a nice big TV, everything is light, clean, looks new, there's a variety of teas.

Very central, just near the station, lots of shops around the area and the Nokia Arena is just a 5 mins walk distance. The room was big and clean. Microwave, small fridge and water boiler were a nice surprise. I had a very good and comfortable stay.

It is one of the cheapest options on booking.com for Tampere, and for that it doesn't disappoint! The equipment was as promised and the washrooms were decently clean, it was exactly as we expected upon reading the reviews beforehand. It is located right next to the lake, with the option to book one of the two saunas right next to it. There's the possibilty to have a barbecue as well. The Wifi worked well, but be aware that it's only near the reception. The room had a working radiator.

Camping Härmälä is situated directly by the lake and has a nice private beach. There is a lot of space to park your car and the staff was very friendly.

I was really pleased with Forenom. The location is great - right on the main street with a ton of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. Despite that, it was very quiet - no problems with noise - and with three locked doors, it felt very secure too. I received my door code right on time via email and text. It's perfect if you're on a budget. The rate was very cheap, and because there's a fridge/microwave/plates etc. you can eat in the room if you're looking to save money. There's a lot of room, and the design is very modern. I believe this hotel used to be part of the Omenahotel chain so if you've stayed there you'll know what to expect. Bathroom was clean and big, with a nice shower. Lots of storage space too. It's a shame there wasn't a little food preparation area - we had to use the table in the room to cut bread etc. which isn't ideal. It's an aparthotel so there's not much in the way of service. There's a 24 hour phone number and a member of staff on the front desk during the daytime, but we didn't need to contact anyone. I personally prefer aparthotels, but if you're looking for a traditional hotel service this isn't the place. Only downsides: the keypad on the room door was a little finicky and we had to enter the code very carefully. Also, the beds are two single beds on wheels. So you can easily push them together to make a double, but try not to fall through the middle!

We enjoyed a three night stay in a studio apartment. It was spacious and well equipped. We had a large balcony with a beautiful view. We loved the central location and were able to walk everywhere in Central Tampere including the Moomin museum - highly recommend.

Stayed here for three nights as a base to explore Tampere for a couple of days. Very convenient location, about 10-15 minutes walk from the station and less than that to the city centre around the Tammerkoski River. Rooms are self-service and enter via a code sent by text or email, and are clean and comfortable with decent bathroom and shower. Not too cheap but better value than most accommodation of a similar type in Tampere.

We found this hotel to be a perfect location to enjoy the benefits of both city and woodland walks. Hotel was very quiet, clean with comfortable beds.

The apartment is very convenient as it is near the centre of Tampere. It wasn't that expensive compared to other hotels. Getting the access code half an hour earlier was a great plus. I got good service when requesting an early checking over e-mail. The hotel is a bit dated - the lifts and doors in corridors seem old as does some of the equipment inside of the room, especially the bathroom which is very tiny. It's handy to have a kettle and also complimentary tea so that was appreciated. The fridge (at least I think it was the fridge) kept making a weird sound (like when you put the kettle on) which was quite uncomfortable so the equipment should be checked and replaced. Overall, the location was great, the access using a code was very convenient, it wasn't terribly expensive but wasn't the most comfortable. All in all, an enjoyable experience.

But the best thing is, that if you change your mind during your stay, there is bigger Sokos Hotel Torni in the neighbourhood and you can have your breakfast and dinner there. In this hotel only porridge breakfast (incl. coffee, tea, juice & smoothies, eggs etc.) is served. For me it's perfect, if I'm in the hurry in the morning. Rooms are clean and there is space enough. Bathrooms are clean also. Good choice. Especially for busy business travellers.

This cozy atmospheric boutique hotel is located next to the railway station. The hotel is a renovated 100-year-old granary with interesting architecture and beautiful interior decor. The original brick walls and bay windows are reminding of the history. Each room is unique. We stayed in the two-story Tower Suite. The lower floor had a comfortable double bed and a toilet. The upper floor had a living room, sauna, bathtub, and another toilet. From the upper floor windows, you could admire panoramic city views. The breakfast is served at the neighboring Torni Hotel. It was quite easily accessed through the mall’s parking garage. This time the breakfast was pleasantly calm. The food selection was good. For the sale price of 225 euros, our stay had quite good value. However, I wouldn't pay much more for this room.

Very good beds and a clean, beautiful, roomy shower. But lighting in the bathroom was so dim and only comes from underneath the mirror, that doing my very simple make-up of blush, mascara and powder, was hard. There is a make-up mirror with light, but it's very high and the light is useless. For a romantic getaway with my spouse this hotel was very nice, clean and quiet. The only downside was that walking to have the bigger breakfast in the nearby Torni Hotel was so simple for the staff that they didn't tell us in enough detail how to get there. We just had to start walking and guessing our way. The breakfast was very good when we finally found it.

I had a short overnight business stay. Everything was very convenient, quick but friendly check-in and clean room with everything you need including supplies for coffee. It looked like the room and the bathroom had been recently renovated. I had a upper floor room and the only minus was that the windows were very small so there was barely natural light. Breakfast buffet was served in Hotel Torni almost next door.

The hotel's prime central location, adjacent to the railway station and the shopping mall, ensures convenience for travellers. The standout feature is its rich historical ambiance, reflected in the unique room designs. The service was exceptional, warm and friendly. The highlight of the morning was the delicious breakfast served at the neighbouring Torni hotel. Overall, Hotel Villa offers a memorable experience combining convenience, historical charm and attentive service. Many thanks!

Nice, very central hotell with perfectly OK rooms. Good and efficient reception and check-in which was appreciated. We stayed Fri-Sat but despite Friday being ”exams-day” with restaurants, bars and parks outside the room was calm and quiet through the night. Good breakfast. OK selection of TV-channels. Small pool + jacuzzi in basement, where you also can access the parking.

I stayed 1 night as a business traveler. |The hotel is easy to find as you can see it stand above the town. I drove to the hotel and the parking is onsite and easily accessible. Checkin was simple and straight forward. I had a room on the 14th floor, it was a twin bedded room but the beds were right next to each other. The room had a great room over the town and even with the window open it was quiet. The bed was comfortable and the duvet ideal for the time of year. The pillows were probably the only let down and they were ok, just not great. The shower room is compact but has a really good shower and a full depth bowl. Temperature was easy to regulate in the room, it had a desk, large flatscreen tv and a minibar. The storage space was good for a short stay. The rate included breakfast and that was a really diverse buffet. I didn't eat dinner in the hotel but there is a restaurant on site (where you have breakfast). I looked at the menu and there was good choice at reasonable prices. There is a good swimming pool so don't forget your swimmers. Overall it was a great choice and I will definitely return there for business or leisure.

A reason for me to select this hotel had been its closeness to the bus station, where the Finnair bus from Helsinki airport arrives, but its location is generally a very positive aspect, since it is close to the shopping centres Koskikeskus and Ratina, but also to the main street Hämeenkatu. Many restaurants and sights are in walking distance. Good was also my room, a Standard Twin on the 8th floor with big windows and a great view. It had all I needed, especially also a writing desk, and it was very clean. One could ask for daily room service, otherwise it takes place on every third day. Check-in at reception was fast and very friendly. The lobby is large with several rooms to sit down, just the pop music there was a bit too loud for my taste. Also one will find here the Lynx bar ('ilves', the hotel's name, in Finnish means lynx). Further down is a spa with sauna and swimming-pool, open for men between 6 to 9pm, a time, which didn't suit me, so I never went there. Breakfast is served at the Amarillo restaurant on the ground floor and there is a big choice of items, also a good coffee from the machine.

Excellent hotel at the Tampere city center. Excellent service. We stayed at the 12 floor and view was amazing. Nice room. Cosy bed, pillows and clean room and general hotel areas. Tasty breakfast at the morning. Swimming pool and the sauna at the morning and evening was great. Relaxing time. We also went at the night club. entrance was free for the hotel guests. Nice staff. Amarillo restaurant and Pub Ukko Noa great food and drinks and service.

Wc ja suihkutila oli toimiva, mutta wc-oven sarana kaipaisi rasvausta, samoin ikkunan saranat. Hotelli oli ilmeisesti sallittu lemmikeille, koska käytävästä kuului koiran haukuntaa. Tiedoksi allergikoille! Uskon silti itse majoittuvani sinne toistekkin.

Rauhallinen sijainti ja hyvät sängyt. Ilmoitustaululla oleva mainos läheisestä aamiaispaikasta ei ollut ajantasainen. Menimme sinne, mutta paikka olikin kaksi viikkoa suljettuna.

Kiva paikka, hotellihuoneessa oli oma tuuletin ja telkkari sekä kylpyhuone ja minijääkaappi. Keittiöstä sai hyvää kahvia ja teetä 😋

One out of not that many options to stay in Nokia. Good location, next to the city center and a Nokian factory, a big mall is in ~500m as well as bus stop with busses to Tampere. There's a bar (Pubi) in the same building and it's operated by the hotel (or the other way around) which was convenient but could be considered noisy by other people. There are also a couple of cafes around.

We just went to sleep there. Everything was there - WC, beds and outlets to charge our units. Pleasant doorman and quick check in. If we would have stayed for few nights, we wouldn’t have chosen this hotel, but it was a good fit for that night.

It's a very nice self-service hotel. Guests do not deal with a receptionist or any other staff and do not have to carry a physical access key. A guest is just supposed to enter the keycode sent in an SMS by the hotel before check-in time on the keypad next to his/her room's door to access the room. The location of the hotel is not bad: it's neither in the city centre nor too far from there. It takes half an hour from the hotel to Tampere Central Square on foot. If you are in a rush or feel lazy, you can take a bus from the bus stop in front of the hotel to go to the city centre as well. The hotel has a bistro and there is a supermarket across the street. My room was basic and small, nevertheless, it had some basic kitchenware such as a mini fridge, coffee machine, kettle, microwave oven, plates, glasses, dishwashing liquid, and cutlery. I didn't go to the bistro but the microwave oven and other appliances in the room were useful as I ate convenience foods I bought from the supermarket for dinners. The room and the bathroom were clean enough. I liked the smart shower in the bathroom to avoid waste of water. The radiator could heat the room very well. My bed was comfortable. The wireless Internet connection was hassle-free.

The room was neat, beds were comfortable, sufficient kitchenette, spacious bathroom and it was very clean. Easy access, free parking in the yard, a small grocery store across the road made the short stay very pleasant.

Super nice and cozy! We especially enjoyed the dinner at the bistro, tasty meals with a touch of local products

Room was spacious, beds, pillows and blankets were comfy. There was little kitchenette with microwave and fridge just behind our room which made basic meal making very easy. Bathroom and kitchenette were shared between 2 rooms which i really liked. The location was pretty close to city center in a quieter neighbourhood.

Correct, budget friendly place not fat from the city centre. Room was spacious, and clean, and the staff was very kind and helpful.

Absolutely beautiful studio in a great location just on the outskirts of the city centre. Tampere is a very walkable city so it was very easy to get around by foot. Communication with Hazel (host) was better than I could have expected. She was very helpful, friendly and responsive to my messages. Hazel also offers early check-in and late check-out where possible which was very useful for me. What made this stay exceptional was all the little details (e.g. a handwritten welcome note, some Finnish chocolates, a phone charger, books and Netflix on the TV for guest use, lots of toiletries in the bathroom). The facilities were very handy such as washing machine, iron, full kitchen and equipment, hair dryer, etc. There is a lot of natural light in this apartment thanks to the very large windows which were beautiful to watch the sunset from. Beautiful view of the river from there too. The furnishings were just beautiful and so cosy. Extra points for such a comfortable bed and duvet. Also, the shower pressure was amazing!

The apartment was perfect, cozy, and well-equipped, with a pleasant atmosphere. We especially loved the view and the books. The location is excellent: in a modern area, in a modern building, but a few minutes' walk to the city. I did not want to leave at the end, felt so like home!

Good location, not directly in city centre but a convenient walk away, near historical industrial landmarks along Tammerkoski banks. Nice views to top it off. Clever mechanism to open the apartment door:)

The check-in was quite comfortable and we felt immediately at home once we arrived at this cozy place (might be the cutest studio in central Tampere indeed). We arrived by bus with the luggage but later it was perfect walking distance from everything we wanted to see. The neighbourhood seemed really welcoming and we enjoyed being right next to frozen Näsijärvi. We can say that the hosts did their best to provide a place that feels like home for a few days!

Beautiful, comfortable and super well located place. The check in was easy and even if I didnt meet the owners everything was personal and welcoming. The apartment has the perfect mix between a homy place and a great brand new hotel room. The area is perfect, the lake can be seen from the window and the walk to the center is pretty and easy. I would definitely come back as soon as I go back to Tampere.

Good comfy bed, all nice and clean, in a central but quiet location, within easy walking distance to the train station, supermarkets and everything. Oh and lots of nice bars around.

Great location right in the heart of the city. Very pleasant minimalistisk design of the room, fully equipped with anything needed for a long stay, but not ideal perhaps for a shorter one i.e. no tea/coffee, salt etc. Very clean, everything brand new. Extremely spacious bathroom. Very quiet, nice courtyard view. Contactless check in worked great.

Very clean with good facilities. 15 minutes away from the train station and close to transport links. I felt safe walking around the area and it has a lot of quality restaurants around, a supermarket about 5 mins walk away. It was quiet. Check in was very easy as it was via a code sent to me in advance. The down sides for me was the noisy air-conditioning, which I couldn't turn off (The picture on the wall was not the same make) and I couldn't get the dish washer to work and there were no instructions. To be fair I didn't report this as I wanted a quiet few days and I so, I washed things in the bathroom sink (Fortunately I had a plug which fitted this as there was no plug in the main kitchen sink).

Brand new, clean, nicely decorated, quiet studio with comfortable beds, a great shower and a fully equipped kitchen. Right in the heart of Tampere with the railway and bus stations nearby, as well. It wasn't an issue to arrive very late at night because we could get in using a key code.

Really enjoyed experiment the private sauna even though it took me a while to unserstand how it worked the house has nice dimensions and I really enjoy eating lunch out side in the balcony.

We're on the 2 floor with lift, the property is nice I felt like home. Bed very nice. Bathroom with good size, apartment and water always warm so good! Very quiet neighbors. In the nice area in Tampere. Hopefully come back soon.

Simple design, bright and clean, lovely apartment. With all the necessities and appliances. The location is a 10-minute bus ride from the city center, in a quiet residential area. It takes 1 minute to walk to the beautiful lakeside park, and the magnificent sunset scenery is worth it.

It was easy to get inside. The apartment was clean and tidy, very comfortable. Everyhting is apparently new and stylish. We had everything that we needed (an extra blanket would be nice, though). The owner responded quickly and politely. I liked the house very much indeed.
