Everything - it was a perfect location for accessing everything in the village easily without having to be a mountain goat. The studio apartment was perfect - clean, comfortable, views of the mountain, had everything we needed. The room was so quiet for a great nights sleep. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. Will def book there again.

The view and location to the lifts were 5 minute's walk, the same as dinner and bars. The kitchen was great, and the apartment was very clean, and spacious and felt new. Coffee machine was a bonus

The location is amazing, located in the village. Very close to the Village Square, restaurants and the free shuttle service. The view from the room was amazing. Mark was friendly and very helpful.

Size of the apartment was bigger than usual 'snow' accommodation. Very spacious and clean. View was amazing, could see right up the mountain, and location was central, less than 50m walk to the village.

Excellent location, close to facilities like chair lift, restaurants, pub, etc, with view over the mountains. Friendly, helpful hosts. Comfortable, roomy accommodation. And we saw snow at start of winter - bonus!!

Greg was very helpful and accommodating. Due to travel times and poor phone reception he gladly communicated via texts. We were there as support crew for the ultra marathon, our first, and had no clues what we needed. A 6.30am request to extend for a late checkout was also accommodated. Overall very very helpful. Clean accommodation. Plenty of blankets etc. A balcony with amazing views and a very hot shower.

So comfortable, cozy and clean. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and able to cater for my dietary needs. The rooms were so warm and the whole property so peaceful, even though it’s located right in the town. They honestly thought of everything, there are even lockers for your snow gear!

I was greeted by friendly and professional staff. When i arrived I was also informed my room had been upgraded for nothing, so obviously i had no complaints. The lodge is dated like many in Thredbo and the breakfast included is very basic. One issue with instructions is that it is stated that carpaks in thredbo are free, they are not. Parks NSW charges a $17 a day permit fee. All in all it was comfortable and clean accommodation at good value.

The view is stunning We stayed in the family mountain view and it was great for all of us to be cosy and hang out at night The cooked breakfast was great Greg was incredible and went above and beyond for our stay. I even needed urgent paperwork printed off and he had it done in minutes. Greg dinner tips were all amazing aswell.

Convenient location, ease of check in, friendly staff and nice warm breakfast. The common room is very spacious. Locker available to store your equipment. The room is warm and comfortable, no issue with hot water shower for the 5 of us. Highly recommended.

Staying at Candlelight Lodge was very relaxing. The staff were friendly and laid back. The continental breakfast was excellent, setting us up nicely for our energetic activities at Thredbo. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious, and we were only disappointed by the fact that it was not open every night, due to it being off season. Our room was very spacious, with plenty of room to spread out. The view from the balcony, across the valley, was lovely. The lodge is well located, a short walk to the Village Square and the Kosciuszko Express chairlift. We would recommend Candlelight Lodge to anyone, and would happily stay there again.

Staffs were friendly and helpful. Made an extra mile to direct and help us around with the parking lot. The manager even explained a brief history on how long the hotel was built and reason out why there aren’t a lot of parking spaces out there. Room was perfect with a scenic balcony view. Room was clean, cosy and comfy. Will definitely head back there again! Thanks Pablo and team!

Family oriented mountain lodge in walking distance of the amenities and the chair lift. Very helpful staff went far to help us feeling comfortable. Spacey room with shower over bath tub and access to shared balcony with a 'million dollars' mountain view. Nice restaurant and outdoor seating area and decorations. WiFi was working most of the time. Some furniture and carpets were dated but functional. Reasonable night rates. Will come again.

Very convenient location and lovely staff made our stay memorable. Room was comfortable and the bar and dining room a great add on. We will stay there again. The young staff were friendly, helpful and extremely professional too - well done!

Lovely mountain views from our family room, staff were super friendly and helpful and there was a great atmosphere in the bar on a Sunday night with live music. Restaurant was great, delicious cheese fondue and very good breakfast with lots of options for the whole family.

Our King Room with mountain view was a good size, with a table and chairs allowing us to enjoy the great view. The manager Maria was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very conveniently located. There are limited pay parking spaces on site, but you can drop off your luggage then park at the overnight parking close by. The bed was incredibly comfortable! The bar had a lovely fire with comfy sofas to relax in. We got an excellent deal through booking.com so it was great value compared to booking direct through the hotel.

Great location, close to chairlifts, shops, places to eat and walks. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Great mountain views from our room ( Mountain View room) Fantastic little cosy lounge area with a fire place beside the bar. Great outdoor beer garden with wonderful mountain views.

We visited in the off-season and it was very quiet at the Inn. The host was warm and communicative during our stay and alerted us to which restaurants and bars were open. Our room was cosy, with a lounge well-positioned for looking out at the mountain. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was super clean. The bathroom was small but had all that we needed. We would certainly stay here again.

The room had luxury touches: thick carpet, fun fake log fire, lovely bed, very good bathroom, comfy velvet lounge chairs and footstool. We got a free upgrade to a room with a beautiful mountain view. The staff were friendly from when we first booked. It was very quiet and smelt good.

The restaurant had a great atmosphere. Staff were very helpful. The room was spacious and the shower hot. Bed was comfortable. Great view of the ski slopes.

I requested an easy access room with own door out and was placed in Room 1, which was perfect,, I had stayed in this room some years earlier so was very impressed with the lovely renovation and large king size bed. The room semed much larger and definitely very comfortable for a 3 night stay for someone who prefers to self cater & wants easy access to outside and from the front door.. Very quick and easy to unload gear and check out quickly for a person with an ankle injury.. This room has great disability access to come and go and to shower, so I would recommend it to anyone with mobility issues.. Nice to have the Breakfast option, which I used all 3 days, even though that is rare for me, particularly that coffee machine which made a surprisingly good coffee for a fussy "one a day drinker". Though some people would say you are too far from the Village, I see this as an advantage as on a big Festival weekend it's great to be able to come home for some peace and quiet. And there are shuttle buses right nearby if you can't or don't feel like walking. Beautiful walk in however over & beside the river and I would recommend that amble..

Staff were friendly polite and helpful. Room was way to small for the number of people booked to stay in the room. Also very expensive for what it was. Room was not in good repair. Window was difficult to open and door handle was loose. Breakfast was basic and no variation day to day. Please serve real coffee. Filter coffee is cheap and so much better than instant coffee. Beautiful big coffee machine but staff said noone to make one...

The location was amazing, ski in ski out situation and we also loved the live music. The room was a good size and comfortable and warm. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were served upstairs which was handy. We would definitely stay again. There is parking across the road after you have dropped off your bags at reception.

Very friendly and helpful staff who took the time to get to know us. Room was really big and comfortable. Location was central to everything. Free parking available across the street. Breakfast + food/drinks at the bar were excellent (highly recommend the veggie pizza and the ginger cider).

Staying at the Thredbo Alpine Resort was a dream come true. So enjoyable, convenient, clean and central to everything in Thredbo. Will plan to stay again. All the staff are really knowledgeable and forthcoming when it comes to the knowledge of their area, wither its about the attractions or even the weather, they are helpful. Great food at the Pub, Cascades breakfast is delicious and the bakery has tge best Spice Chai Latte in town.

The rooms were cosy & clean. The hotel common areas were very welcoming & spacious. The breakfast included was decent & on the second morning the scrambled eggs were super tasty. The location is very convenient in the center of the village, although this is further away from Friday Flats if you are a beginner. We'd be happy to stay there again.

Excellent location - everything is close by, including affiliated restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. Decent facilities: on-site restaurants, lounge area – nice area to relax and read a book. I particularly liked their policy of giving you $15 off your bill for every day you choose to not have your room cleaned. It's eco-friendly and saves the guest money. I personally don’t think it is necessary to clean the room or replenish towels, soap, etc everyday so works perfectly for me. On the negative side, room walls are wafer-thin: could hear my neighbours' conversations. Noise from the outside courtyard area also got through, which is not great as on my last night some people were having a party in the courtyard until very late at night. Bathroom is also a bit small.

Smooooth check in and Restaurant service was amazing ! Fireplace with a big comfy leather chair was awesome too ! Anthony and Zoe were gems in the dining room too ! Great service in the bar and super convenient location !

The Property looked better than the photos. Very clean & tidy. Felt cosy & comfortable. Perfect location with a picturesque view of the snowy mountains from the balcony. Fireworks was a surprise which was clear view from the balcony.

We usually stay elsewhere at Thredbo but was unable to get in there and it was lucky as this accomodation was superior and half the price. The rooms were well appointed, clean and the kitchen facilities while basic (no oven) were adequate. The shower was sensational, as were the views. The location of the bus stop right outside meant it was easy to get to the slopes and down to the village. The walk to the village was easy to get down but there were a 150+ steps to get back but you could use the shuttle and the walk was easily managed by our family. The owners were friendly and helpful and the onsite parking was convenient. We would happily return every ski season.

It was a family ski trip with another family of three. We had two rooms, each with a one bedroom unit with separate kitchen. Love their heated bathroom tiles and the view to the village and ski slopes. The owner Ann is very friendly and helpful. She offered to lend us toboggans when we expression the kids' interests to play. The dry room in the lodge is also very helpful to dry and warm up ski gears overnight. The lounge is cosy and a good place to meet with other visitors. The only thing is that parking is not so convenient as the only two spots they have can only be offered to visitors who will not use their car during their stay.

Very quiet and peaceful location this time of year. The weather was miserable but the room was fine. The kitchen had everything I needed and with an excellent view of the mountain and village. I liked that Kasees is a family business and they really made sure I was comfortable. Although the room was not modern, it didn't really matter. Everything worked and it was clean and tidy.

We stayed 4 nights in a studio apartment with the fully equipped kitchen, en-suite and balcony access. The highlights are; friendly and helpful hosts, great mountain views, parking on site (good reversing skill is a must, our car was blocked over two days but we didn't use it), short but steep walk to all local amenities. Some renovations wouldn't hurt like carpets and balcony handrails. Overall, great value for money, will come again.

The YHA has a very friendly atmosphere. Small but adequate and well planned bedrooms. Very clean. Lovely crisp linens and soft towels. Tv in room you can sync your phone to. Comfy mattresses. The common areas are well planned, very comfy with amazing views. 2 great sized kitchens with everything you need easily accessible. Great location. Good price. Friendly staff that are very helpful. Will definitely stay again.

YHA Thredbo is a fantastic place to stay, especially for solo travelers. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Thredbo, close to everything. The hostel has a warm, friendly vibe and a homely feeling that makes you feel welcome right away. The breakfast spread is simple but has everything you need to start your day right. I stayed in a shared 4-bed room, which was small but comfortable. For the price, it’s an absolute steal compared to other accommodations in the area. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a budget-friendly, convenient, and cozy stay!

The staff were fantastic, answering all our questions even before we arrived. Shaun was particularly helpful. The room was small but serviceable. Everything was super clean and in good condition. I loved the lodge feel of the place. We went in summer, so there was no breakfast but tea and coffee were available. Even though we had hot weather and really cold weather the room was a very comfortable temperature. There is also a bbq on the balcony.

The view was amazing, beds very comfortable and rooms very warm. The staff were super friendly and quite helpful. Kitchen was clean and orderly.

Excellent location and very well priced for Thredbo. Room was spacious and comfortable with lots of room for our luggage. Tea, coffee making facilities are provided and there is a small fridge for personal food purchases. Very good wifi, comfortable beds, shower good with hot water, lovely views. The Mexican restaurant was excellent, food delicious, service very good. Definitely booking again - thank you Aaron and Kodi for making our stay very comfortable.

This is the second year we have stayed in this hotel and my son loves the quaint chalet style accommodations. The owner is always lovely and helpful. We loved our loft style room this year and the gorgeous mountain views. Very clean and cosy rooms. The location is central and easy access to shops, restaurants etc. Great Value for money, especially at the time of year we selected. I rarely take time to write a review so that is my best compliment.

Outstanding central location in Thredbo village. Midweek rate was excellent value for this time of year. Rooms are simple but clean, well maintained and more than adequate. The bar and Mexican restaurant was lots of fun and excellent food. The meal we had there was much better than the pub.

We made the trip to Thredbo during April to walk to the top of Kosciusko and wanted reasonably priced accommodation for a family of four in a central location, close to hotels, restaurants and lifts. There are plenty of options and nowhere is far from anything in Thredbo, but the Denman fits the bill in all regards. Beds were comfy, rooms were clean, loved the library and the cosy atmosphere. Our host was welcoming and informative and when we were checking out the library after dinner at the pub (we were there on a night when the restaurant was closed) she came in and offered us a Monopoly set which we gladly accepted and enjoyed a lengthy, competitive game filled with laughter and hilarity! A fabulous family night in. Would definitely recommend to anyone, all year round. If you haven't been to Thredbo outside snow season, put it on your bucket list. The air is fresh, the scenery spectacular and there's so much more to do than skiing.

The Denman Hotel was perfect for our stay in Thredbo. Great views from the balcony rooms and had loads of fun and the most amazing fried chicken in the apres bar. Very friendly staff welcomed us like family. Thank you Ed and team!
