Tucked away in downtown Tijuana on a very busy street teaming with pedestrians, music pouring out of the many nightclubs and bars, craftsmen selling their wares from small storefronts and a seemingly endless variety of wonderful eateries is one of Tijuana's best kept secrets when it comes to affordable lodging. Surrounded by newer, flashy and definitely more expensive options Hotel Revolution could easily be overlooked for it's simple simplicity, which would be a definite shame for any seasoned traveler. Although not perhaps as showy or modern as it's overpriced neighboring hotels, it harkens you back to a quieter, more traditional time in the city's history where emphasis was still placed on great hospitality, simple and careful attention to detail, a respect for privacy and an assurance of a safe, quiet nights rest. Traditional quilted bedspreads and the wonderful strong black coffee that percolates 24-7 in the lobby are only outdone by the room with a sizable jacuzzi in it, a steal at less than 60 USD per night. This is the kind of establishment that upon returning home from one's travels will linger in the back of your memory as a definite reason to return for future visits.

Located in the heart of the action on Av. Revolution. All the entertainment, food, shopping is walkable. Loud at night because all of downtown Tijuana is loud at night. Earplugs did the trick. Staff was friendly albeit with limited English as is the norm there. If you're looking for a clean, basic, budget friendly place to sleep and shower downtown this place ticks all those boxes

Place was very elegant and staff are always smiling and very willing to help out on any questions or needs you may have. The rooms are very nice and very clean. The terrace was so beautiful and the top floor with gym and jacuzzi and sauna was the cherry on top.

It was a staycation (almost) as we just drove down from San Diego for the Labor Day Vacation. EVERYTHING in the room, the gym and jacuzzi on the deck were brand new! Best sauna I've ever been in EVER! Service was impeccable. The neighborhood was so so, but then Tijuana is not known as the most romantic city in this hemisphere. We were close to CECUT, the cultural center and they were celebrating with folk dancing and food stalls. Getting back to USA on Labor Day was a -5 stars but the, hotel was marvelous. Food was good but dining room very plain and I'm not a fan of plastic plants.

the staff were amazing, very polite and helpful, they go above and beyond to make sure that you’re happy, free shuttle to wherever you want to go, and great breakfast buffet selection, we really enjoyed it, I would recommend it.

I underestimated the quality of customer service that this hotel offers. It quickly reached a high priority when it comes to choosing lodging in Tijuana. You do not have to be a gambler to visit which was my mistake. It is a formal , clean and comfortable hotel. I have a medical tourism company based out of San Diego and work closely with many doctors in Mexico. We all met here for training for 2 days. Everyone in the workshop agrees that this was a pleasant surprise. We are looking forward to our next workshop in Pueblo Amigo. Have fun when you visit. Warm regards Frank Nunez

We came to Tijuana for dental work and came across this hotel before coming. It was a good spot where there’s a grocery market nearby if you want snacks or food. The property has its own casino and restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff are very nice. Shout out to Francisco the bartender. He’s a really friendly person to speak to. My Fiancés is starting to learn some Spanish words and would attempt to communicate with the staff.

Great staff at the hotel lobby, like Robert, Oscar & Juan Carlos to name a few. Very clean property, parking lot security is very safe. Pablo, parking lot attendant is very helpful with the rest of the team for vehicles to be watched 24/7 while you stay at this awesome property. I’ll definitely continue to stay here when visiting, Tijuana.

Room was clean and stuff to help us was nice also, it's nice because it have he's own private parking you close the gate from inside plus they have service at the room if you wanna order food they have a menu.. ( didn't try the food) but room it's big and bathroom and shower clean and separate doors for both nice distribution nice curtains you can't tell if it's day or night very spacious.

Breakfast can be purchased from the menu in the room. It will be delivered in a timely manner to your room. When I ordered dinner it was always tasty, fair price, and delivery was relatively fast by a friendly wait staff. Very nice.

This is a little gem of a hotel. I love the little restaurant they have, Terraza. The cook whips up a decent menu for a nice price. You don't have to leave the hotel for a good meal. The spa is a nice addition. I liked their jacuzzi. The hotel is walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, bars, and casino on Avenida Revolucion. Best part is their secured parking. There are only 3 places in this city I would trust to park my baby Harley overnight, and this is one of them.

Good bar and restaurant with patio for outside eating. Hotel is cleaned often; wireless was good as well. The hotel is set back from the street quite a bit, so traffic noise is minimized. Brewed coffee for breakfast which can be hard to find. Had breakfast and dinner, prices were very reasonable for a hotel restaurant.

About 10 minute walk to revolution, parking is in front of the hotel. Room was quiet and very clean. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Small restaurant has the best drinks and meals, food is cook in front of you.cookong area is kept clean.

I love Velario hotel! the place is secured & gated with 24/7 security. The hotel is walking distance from the many bars & clubs perfect for the night life. the staff is very nice they offer many things like taxi, spa & they even have a nice patio with nice decore and lights. We had a wonderful stay at the Aqua Rio Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed and well taken care of. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The location is perfect — close to downtown attractions, restaurants, and public transportation, which made exploring the city super convenient. What stood out most was the friendly atmosphere and great value for the price. I would recommend Aqua Rio to anyone looking for a pleasant and budget-friendly place to stay. I’ll definitely be back!

Everything so nice about just for the best part of the hotel the jacuzzi definitely needs a heating system for the water other that is ok thanks.

No refrigerator or microwave, or iron , no coffee inside room. 2) price good and affordable. Shower not safe easy to fall need a shower mat , need to fix shower door.. but my #1 the Bed really comfortable and pillows, no complain of that. I stayed 2 nights 10/16 , and 10/17 23.

Very Pleasat experience!. We did the check-in out of time, but the clerk was very polite and professional. He explained the rules and policies, and what was included on the fee. He asked for a deposit and the way I would get it back. The lady from the restaurant was very kind and helpful, the tables were clean and the food they served for breakfast was very good, so congratulations to their Chef and all the team at Hotel America. I will recommend it to my family and frieds.

You can tell the building has seen better days, but it is clean. Although there was a language barrier (nothing a smart phone couldn't solve), the staff tried to go out of their way to fulfill our needs. I loved the open-air area around the pool and how it bled into the undercover area of the building. The outside was inside, so to speak. The shower in the bathroom didn't have a curtain, but the bathroom was designed for that: two drains. I wasn't used to the entire bathroom floor being wet, but it worked. I enjoyed the restaurant in the mornings, it was a good way to start the day. It was located several floors up with an overlook of the city... very cool. The breakfast is served to you, no buffet, also the meal is the same every day, no variation. We took advantage of it for a few days during our week stay, but we ended up going out somewhere else for the rest of the time. It was a good experience overall, and the price was very reasonable. It seemed to be a popular place, with lots of people around. The underground parking was tight, but there were plenty of parking spots between the three levels. You just have to be careful navigating the supports holding up the floors above.

I really loved this hotel. The staff was very nice. My room was modern, spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was limited but delicious, specially the fresh squeezed orange juice! And the hotel is located near a wonderful shopping plaza that has a movie theater and lots of restaurants.

The location of the hotel was optimal and close to the Otay border. It was in a great business center with shops, convenient store, and some restaurants. The staff were very friendly, professional and eager to help. The breakfast was a delicious mix of Mexican food items (e.g., chilaquiles), eggs, pancakes, as well as healthy options, such as fruit, and yogurt. And free good coffee and tea are available all day. Our stay was the best. We’ll definitely stay again when in Tijuana.

I stayed in this hotel for business and i was very impressed. Appears to be a fairly new property. Clean spacious rooms. The cleaning services is excellent. The never-ending breakfast was very good in the morning and they had really really good coffee. The location is safe and there’s a nice mall across the street. The postage stamp size gym was good. Front desk, staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to assist.

This property looks brand new. It is a new Mall area - the Alameda - so there are lots of shopping and eating and drinking choices a short walk away. Seems very safe. My room had great soundproofing from the outside, less so from the banging and crashing from other room doors shutting on the same floor but no noise from outside. USB-C connectors as standard as well as USB ordinary plugs. A filter coffee machine but no filter paper and coffee in a sachet that I thought would need a kettle so I didn't know what to do with it so went to starbucks; also there is an excellent Cafe Florentina nearby. I can't comment on breakfast as we were socialising very late so missed the 10am finish. Over all this properly has a brand new feel, friendly and efficient staff, taxis usually sitting outside and I would 100% stay here again. It is about $10-15 US to El Arco/Chaparral, takes about 10-15 mins without traffic delays

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tijuana was absolutely awesome! The hotel was exceptionally clean, modern, and well-maintained. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly and welcoming. A special shoutout to Jose, one of the employees, who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. We were meeting family, and he kindly offered us access to the patio area so we could comfortably spend time together. His thoughtfulness and accommodating attitude made all the difference and truly enhanced our experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tijuana. It’s not just a place to stay but a place where the staff genuinely cares about your comfort and experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Complimentary breakfast is an actual breakfast and it was decent. Only issue we had when we came back from dinner there must’ve been about 10 itty bitty mosquitos in our room; window was closed. I stayed for one night after a late arrival flight (I live two hours from Tijuana) and I'm really happy with my hotel choice. The facilities are very modern and clean, the staff is super friendly and I was allowed to do a late check-out (I woke up with a headache) They have a little shopping kiosk to buy snacks and drinks. Breakfast is included and they have complimentary coffee 24/7. And it's conveniently close to the airport. I will definitely stay here again.

The breakfast is very good and if needed you can special special order their breakfast burrito without meat . There is a very quaint gym, an ice machine and 24 hour gourmet coffee and hot chocolate and tea. Staff service was great, very friendly and welcoming. I stayed there in the 2 bedroom luxury apartment and it was amazing! So big and modern! Staff also speaks English which was a plus!

This establishment has more than what I expected a hotel room to have. It had comfortable beds, a comfortable sofa, a big television, refrigerator, and everything was clean and well maintained. The staff is also very friendly and professional, and the surrounding area is very secure and boasts of many restaurants that serve a wide variety of local and international food options. I truly enjoyed my stay, as well as my family members did too.

Right next to the elevator. Simple checkin, code entry. Wifi seemed good the little I used it. Pretty darn clean, 8 out of 10. Netflix with an English account profile. I stayed during weekdays and never heard neighbors. Nice sized mini fridge. Real coffee maker with standard sized brew basket. Small safe for valuables. Rain style shower head plus handheld head. Nice sized, large tiled shower. Not super hot but great pressure. Hair dryer included. Blackout curtains. Tall ceilings. Absolutely no cockroach sightings. (this is the first thing I check in reviews). Memory foam mattress and pillows. Fleece throw blanket (I bring my own hammock stand to hotels and literally wanted a simple fluffy blanket) Space for my hammock stand. Desk with nice swivel chair and small potted plant. Pleasant staff especially the valet/night watchman. 2 blocks from my dentist, 2 blocks from Asadero Tecolote(A great chain of taco spots, the one on Revolucion is better but nice to find this location) 3 blocks from Calimax supermarket (it's a nice larger one with great produce, cold pressed juices, food bar, bakery and huge pharmacy).

However street had some construction going on, we didn't hear noise. Place is nice and clean. Cute small and convenient. Staff was really nice and welcoming. Not all hotels have parking structures. We parked car outside of hotel and was promised it be safe there. Security 24 hours and no breakfast served but a restaurant is next door. Good food

I very much enjoyed my stay at Rio Suites. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean with a lot of amenities and clean water. Very safe location and my wife and I felt very comfortable on our 10 day stay. We will most definitely be staying again.

Nos gusto el cuarto. Buen tamaño,el jacuzzi también. Muy limpio. Solo que no tenian mini bar, y en la especificación de la habitación dice que si. Y también, tengan en cuenta que el hotel esta justo a un lado de “Las Pulgas” entonces hubo música muy fuerte hasta altas horas de la noche.

Almost an hour away from Rosarito Beach though, so very inland. Clean hotel and sharp. Hidden gem indeed. Will be returning, thank you!

Another great stay. Very peaceful and quiet. I appreciate the modern style of the rooms, feels luxurious yet like if you are in your own home. There is a $20 cash deposit or 300 pesos no matter what, but returned when you bring back remotes for AC and TV.

This is a little gem nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Two doors down there is a small brewery where coffee, lattes and soft drinks are served as well. Their fries and burgers are very, very good actually for such a small place. The waiters and waitresses are very young, not particularly engageable but polite enough. They look like they are there to do a job and that's it. Irt's convenient because you can drink all you want and walk to your room. Down the street approaching Caliente Blvd. there is a Soriana and a bakery next to it. Across the street there are a shoe repair place, a corner garments alterations booth and a Raspados (shaved ice) stand which is excellent. If you're into tacos, there is a stand across the way from the alterations place. Ask for a room closest to the front of the prop. The ones in the rear are closer to a neighbor that has a dog which will start barking at a.m. :-) I've stayed at this place dozens of times over the last 6 or 7 years, it never disappoints.

Stayed here for a whole week, the receptionist are very kind and helpful, the rooms are very clean and well maintained, the area around is very nice , supermarket near by, Mercado de todos just down the street, laundromat also down the street as well as allot of places to eat nearby, very nice place to stay

Nervous to stay at a hotel in TJ/Mexico. Looked at many hotels in the area we needed to stay and decided to stay here at hampton Inn. Close to where we needed to be and “Free” breakfast even though we all know nothing is free, but always love to have a nice breakfast included. Well we arrived everyone was so nice and as you enter it was just clean. Rooms were ready and we went up to find clean spacious rooms. All our stay was awesome. Everyone was very helpful and so nice. PLEASE NEVER FORGET TO TIP THOSE WHO SERVE YOU! Overall a 5 star experience. They have a nice pool area, bar area, the only negative thing was we were not allowed to hang out in the dining/ lobby area after hours. Other than that would go back.

I normally ask for a refrigerator in my room and look for a pool, or at least a sauna. Surprisingly, I found both the icemaker and potable hot/cold water dispenser nearby my room and grabbing my morning Mexican coffee at the dispenser in the lobby was lovely. Homey atmosphere and convenience of finding everything I needed nearby.

Convenient location on Avenida Revolucion. Friendly, helpful staff. Free WiFi. Walking distance from restaurants, bars, clubs, and shopping. Caesar's Restaurant is attached to the hotel; it is where the Caesar Salad was invented.

As always, walking into the lobby is like entering a different time. And beautiful and very clean. The next step is the front desk people they’re amazing, communicative, and there for making sure everything‘s OK for me. And I don’t know what his title would be, but the guy takes their bags up to the room is also amazing location very safe. We can walk at the door and next-door to Caesar Restaurante.

We have stayed there several times in the last year, and each time it has been consistently comfortable, efficient and clean. They have been updating the rooms, and all are not pretty contemporary. Location is great, and although the neighborhood can be noisy, inside the hotel it is peaceful. Free morning coffee is the icing on the cake.

Room was very clean and plenty of towels provided, excellent air conditioning, room was quiet at night. Location was in close proximity to everywhere I needed to go to. It felt safe and secure. WiFi was strong enough.

Beds were comfy and spacious. The lobby design was very pretty. Restaurant food was pretty good. We had the continental breakfast and they had a good selection. We also an afternoon small meal and everything was delicious. Free parking

We traveled for an event at the fiesta hotel which was a walking distance. The location is decent, we had a nice view of the city. Room was small but very clean. It did have ac which was awesome. For the price I expected a microwave at least but it's ok. Continental breakfast is free, but there is other dishes you can order at an extra cost. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and polite. There is a security guard at night walking around the parking lot so our vehicle did feel secure. The hotel is in a transit street. There is an oxxo (like a 711) and a caffeino across the street.

The continental breakfast buffet had good options! We paid extra for a hot breakfast buffet and it didn't disappoint us! It was delicious!

The night receptionist was not helpful and unprofessional. I was asking about parking and wifi, he seemed very annoyed with my questions and seemed that he didn't want to be helpful. The housekeeping ladies were extremely nice and attentive, during our stay, they stopped by our room everyday to make sure we had everything we needed.

Basic, though, with no frills. The location was also fantastic. When we left, we were less than 10 minutes from the line for the border. We were central to everything we wanted to get to during the trip so it was very nice. The pool and restaurant are in the same area and the blend worked well. Neither were crowded during our stay and service was fast! Ample, convenient parking with easy check in and check out too. We felt totally safe here.

This little place is a great secret.. it's within walking distance of great restaurants and bars. I feel safer and its cleaner than the San Francisco California hotel/financial district which is where the Del Rio is located in Tijuana, hotel/financial district. Comparing apples to apples I was in both places within months of each other. I will never again choose S.F. for travel The bellman Alonso is an incredible human being, he's a friendly caring knowledgeable person always ready to serve, he's the best concierge.. Yes he's the bellman but anything you want to know he's an encyclopedia of all things Tijuana... The on site restuarant is very good, small but adequate bar, new owners are great, although more limited with the covid restriction. I've made 2 trips into Mexico both ends of the Baja this year, it feels cleaner and safer than the local Walmart! The Del Rio is not a high end luxury hotel, it is however a very clean comfortable and more than adequate hotel for travel purposes. We stay 5 to 7 nights. I continually return to the Del Rio, probably for the Old Mexico charm and exceptional person service particularly Alonso but all the staff is helpful. I have called his cell when he was off duty, with his permission of course for information or choices. The pool is small but seldom if ever crowded. It appears many guests are local population but never uncomfortable for non locals, very important. We always enjoy the stay.

My experience with this place was beyond pleasant. This hotel has everything you need and it is so comfortable. It is family friendly and recently renovated. The costumer service is the best I’ve ever experienced. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They have a quiet updated air conditioner. The television has many options. The pool was clean temperatured and nice. I can’t say enough about this place except that I am thankful for how wonderful everyone was from the front desk to the cleaning crew.

I was a little concerned with staying here after reading the reviews. What I found during my 4 night stay was that the negative reviews were completely false. My room was spotless, well maintained, and very comfortable. Excellent daily maid service and 24 hour security. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. There is also an onsite restaurant that is open from 7 am to 11 pm that serves delicious meals for very reasonable prices. I would recommend this property to anyone staying in Tijuana.

My wife and I went there a few months ago. We THOROUGHLY enjoyed ourselves!! We rented a room with a Jacuzzi and both had a great time using it throughout our stay. We also liked the room's corner location. Moreover, the staff was wonderful! First, the front desk clerks were friendly and answered my questions when I placed the reservation. They even showed me a couple of rooms. Also, the housekeepers helped guide Maria to the room at check-in. (I had arranged for the location to be a surprise until we were in the room.)

Very clean, great location close to the oasis of Hope Hospital for cancer. The staff was wonderful very accommodating for my later arrival and the breakfast at the restaurant next-door was exceptional. All the weight staff and the chef at the restaurant were awesome and very friendly and cordial truly professional operation the people there seem to take pride in their work and the cleanliness was beyond typical. They also had security on entry to the parking lot. I felt very secure parking might vehicle outdoors at nightand walking around the premises. Great place.

All the staff are amazing here, always smiling and saying good morning etc. Food (breakfast) in the little restaurant is lovely, fresh omelette or whatever u want basically made for you by the chef in front of you. Bed is large and comfy. Giant TV. Massive shower. Follow my world travels on heartbeat-NWCC facebook page. Its a small northest based charity, providing a safe environment in which to exercise for people like myself have either heart issues or head/brain trauma issues.

I stayed for 5 nights while I was on the area for a medical procedure. ***Staff was friendly and welcoming always*** it was really nice to have such a friendly staff always saying hello and opening doors upon return. Easy check in and luggage taken care of by bellboys. Room was perfect for my needs. Clean and spacious with confortable bedding. Room service was efficient and friendly. Pool area was fine. I hung out there to read a few times. Hotel is convenient to stores ok the area and walkable. Felt safe always and I was able to find someone to drive me around touring Tijuana for a few hours for a very reasonable price with the help of staff. Really have nothing negative to say about this place.

Great experience! The staff is friendly and very attentive. The breakfast buffet provides a lot of delicious options. For dinner one night I had the grilled fish, it was cooked to perfection! The mattress was super comfortable, one of the coziest I've slept on in hotel. When showering be patient, the water takes a little bit to warm up but it gets there. If you are a light sleeper you may hear the elevator at night, I wore earplugs and it solved the problem.

Not the first time I've stayed at this hotel, but the first review I've written after a visit. The hotel is very well maintained, clean and organized. All of the staff has been polite, friendly, accommodating and helpful. Clean rooms along with good food from both the bar and breakfast. I will continue to frequent this Marriott.

We stayed in this hotel on a recent trip to Tijuana. The room was spacious, clean, and the hotel staff were very friendly and eager to help. Antonio, the concierge, was especially friendly and helpful. You can trust him for restaurant and transportation recommendations. I had the breakfast buffet at the hotel’s restaurant one morning… Pricey by Tijuana standards but certainly comparable to what you would pay for a buffet breakfast at a holiday inn in the United States ($14). Everything I ate was very tasty, fresh, and I enjoyed every single bite. There is enough bandwidth in the hotel to stream Netflix without issue. We were only one night at this property, and to be honest we were concerned prior to our arrival. If you need a place to overnight in Tijuana (possibly before a flight as we did), this is definitely the place to stay. They clearly are going overboard to keep the place clean and friendly.

The whole hotel was beautiful, and the room was very comfortable., big and clean. I wasn't expecting a view but I got a really nice view of the glorietta which was a nice surprise. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. There were many amenities within walking distance, that was a plus!

The room was clean and comfortable, heating worked fine. The property is large, well-maintained, and has plenty of on-site amenities like a convenience store, bar, restaurant, and spa (we did not try any of these). 12pm checkout is fantastic, as well.

The door staff porter was the most helpful man. I didn't meet a more considerate man than him. In fact they were all very helpful but he did over and above. Starbucks on hotel is good for a coffee too. Safe in the room helpful.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was very clean, the bed was big and super comfortable, and the mattress was excellent — I slept great! The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. Definitely a place I’d stay at again

This was an amazing place to stay. Three restaurants: we had an amazing breakfast at one, lunch at an intimate Italian restaurant for lunch, and dinner at the rooftop urban vibe sushi restaurant. All on site! Room service was top notch as well. The staff were so welcoming and took great care of us! Picturesque pool that had photographers taking wedding and quinciñera pictures at a few times, and for good reason. It was beautiful! Rooms were spotless and beds were comfy. I literally felt like this is one of the best managed hotels I have ever stayed at, and I never met anybody from management. Glad I stayed here and will stay every time I am in the city. Thanks to everybody for being so kind and taking care of all of the details so we could enjoy our stay!

Lots of free parking for guests makes this a great experience. That and being close to the border. I have driven in and taken an Uber in and enjoyed both options. I booked using an IG link that included breakfast for two nights and I was also given a free hour of happy hour during the afternoons of our stay and dinner. I was floored! I only thought they were going to give us breakfast. And they had an attendant on site to serve you while you dined. All this included in the price of our stay. The room fridge had some beer, water and soft drinks/juice. It was included. One night we went to the restaurant in the lobby and had the best enchiladas and burger I have had in a long time! There’s a bar too close to the restaurant in case you want to watch the game or hear music. I think the aesthetics of this hotel measure up and the staff are kind and helpful. I want to go again. They have an on site spa and gym which were nice. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool is open late but in cooler months too cold to get in at night. Loved it!

My wife had Gastric Sleeve surgery at IMM and the Hotel works in conjunction with the IMM. The surgery center picked us up at the airport and we went through customs and right on in to our hotel. The staff at the hotel provided better care and personal support than you would ever receive in the US at any Hotel. They have a great breakfast buffet with eggs to order, a full fruit bar, all types of breads and pastries as well as the standard Mexican style food. The servers are so attentive that when your finished with your plate they buss your table right then so your table is never dirty. The hotel caters to the IMM patients and offers their specific menu items as part of the package deal. The breakfast buffet is a little over $32 which kinda pricey but the food is delicious. They have an Italian restaurant as well which serves phenomenal dishes. The hotel is not far from the border and plenty of shopping as well as restaurants

First time at this hotel and it was everything I would expect from a hotel of this type as a businessman who travels a lot. It was not "spectacular" or "exceptional" but it was good, clean, efficient and friendly. Room was a good size and well equipped - could have done with a mini-bar or fridge, but no big deal. One night we dined at the restaurant at the top of the adjoining building with the indoor pool - and the food was excellent. Second night, dined in the small bar near to reception desk and the food there was good. In all cases, I find nothing to complain about and value for money was good. When I am back in Tijuana next, I will happily stay here again.

The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was delicious! The staff was very friendly! It was in a very safe area as well. Check in was very easy and the bar had great drinks. The rooms were super cold and so comfortable. The only thing missing was a pool or hot tub lol but it was an excellent hotel overall.

Very modern Marriott in Tijuana slept like a baby love the bed so much front desk was very friendly. I was so happy I was able to check in early. Breakfast was delicious. The man working at the breakfast buffet was making sure the breakfast buffet was full and provided us with napkins and asked us if we needed anything. He was very kind. The lady at the front desk was also very nice.

The location was good. The facility is new and modern and clean. The front desk staff was helpful and the housekeeping staff did a good job. The in-house restaurant is simple and has a small menu but it's of course very convenient and the staff was friendly and the food good. One thing I particularly liked was the large window (overlooking Boulevard Sanchez Taboada)--other hotels I've been in in Tijuana were nice overall but the room wasn't as well-lit (City Express Plus) or they had a big window but it was so heavily tinted the room was still dark (City Express Suites).

Breakfast was amazing! Chilaquiles - red and green, eggs, beans, pancakes, fresh fruit, fresh coffee, etc.

First of all, the staff was excellent! Breakfast was good every morning, the rooms were clean. The environment feels safe with plenty of good restaurants close by.

This has been my favorite hotel for years is a little pricey but worth it from the pool to the jacuzzi, the staff very respectful and more than anything it is very clean is very well managed.

I had a dental appointment and wanted to stay near by. It was referred by my dentist. I couldn't have been happier. I had to work from the hotel and it had great wifi, the most amazing food and friendliest staff. Everything is walkable and very safe. The staff couldn't be more professional and friendly. They are also bilingual in English. The room was big and pool and jacuzzi hit the spot. I would ask for a room away from the street maybe facing the pool, but otherwise I will be back. I highly recommend.

I loved this hotel from the start ! Beautiful, luxurious and friendly staff . The Boca restaurant had amazing food and offered free breakfast . The rooms were stunning . Comfortable beds and pillow . The halls were a bit thin you can hear a lot but even as a light sleeper I was able to rest . The black out shades were great. The swimming pool was heated as well as the jacuzzi . I would definitely recommend . It felt safe , you can’t go to any floor expect the floor your are in with your key , spa which has a nice little gym next to it and pool floor . The pharmacy was just below it , super convenient and prices were not bad at all . The hospital was right there as well and a ton of restaurants including the ones attached and some across the street . They provide a free shuttle to the line . Absolutely wonderful .

The restaurant food and salsas were delicious. Restaurant waiters were friendly. Liked the parking next to room. Rooms were clean and had 2 quality water bottles which is great!

I'm a budget traveler and I booked this hotel online so that I could catch a flight out of Tijuana the next morning. It is not as close to the airport as I thought. I booked a cab with UBER and the GPS location was wiggy. However, I got there and was impressed with the room for $40 US. Large room, 2 double beds, coffee maker and coffee in room, free Wifi, clean accommodation. We had dinner at the restaurant connected off the lobby - it was decent and the service was good. I would stay here again.

The BEST part about this hotel is the DELICIOUS breakfast by Chef Susana!!! Best breakfast I have ever had in any hotel! I usually try to stay away from carbs, but all diets rules are off when I visit this hotel because Susana's pastries are hands-down the most AMAZING I have ever had! The "icing on the cake" is that Susana is the most warm and welcoming person and goes above and beyond to create the best experience. One of my students wasn't feeling well and she made her some ginger tea. I work for a university and bring a class of 35 students to Mexico every year and we always stay at the Palacio Azteca. I cannot say enough about this hotel

there was no breakfast or place to have a coffee but i knew that when i booked however ,this hotel is very central and safe but above everything else the cleaning ladies do an excellent job first class compared to other hotels i have stayed in south of the border.

Amazing service! Pablo helped us check in and was great. Easy check in. He also helped us order some pizza to the hotel. I saw him helping out a woman who only spoke another foreign language and he did his best! The rooms were clean! We got two rooms, the beds were firm but that’s how we like it! The bathrooms were clean as well. We loved the parking! It’s gated and there’s security 24/7 so we felt safe leaving all of our goods we purchased in our car. Breakfast was soooo good and the ladies were so attentive to us. Pancakes, eggs, toast, beans, and chilaquiles were available. Overall amazing service! For the price, it was perfect!

Stayed for two nights at B My Hotel, and it was a good stay. The have your traditional room key, not the card keys most modern hotels have, and they only provide you with one copy of the key, so if you travel with friends, you have to leave the key at the front desk so your friends can get in the room. Breakfast was included, and it was a decent breakfast. Front desk agents are very helpful and the property is clean. The area is not the best, but it's not bad either. Not sure if I would stay here again, but the price was good for the two nights I booked, and this property could be a great option if you want a decent, clean budget hotel.

Reserve your room in advance for a great price, and quick check-in procedure. The hotel has a large parking lot with security and taxis service. They also provide a "real" hot breakfast free of charge. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Full disclosure: Thin walls and I wanted more pressure in my shower, but it was ok...I just would have like more of it.

I recently stayed there for 2 weeks. It's a budget motel and it is likewise equipped - no refrigerator, in room safe, work station or ironing board. The AC is a standard window type unit installed in the wall however I never used it - I kept the bathroom window open and the room temperature was fine. My room was on the north side of the hotel so my windows did not get direct sunlight. Wifi is excellent. The hard working maids kept the room spotless. Alberto - I think he was one of the maintenance men - stopped by my first day to see if everything was ok and a day or two later someone else called from the front desk to check in as well. He basically apologized for the maids not speaking english - not necessary, we're in Mexico after all - but I appreciated the gesture. There is a cochina onsite which you can access from the lobby so I assume it has some connection to the hotel. I only ate there one time as I really felt like the waitress there made a deliberate effort to treat me poorly, I observed her interacting with the other patrons and her attitude towards me was much different. I was the only gringo in the cochina so I'll just assume she was a hater. No worries, everyone else was gracious and friendly. The staff were extremely courteous and friendly. They offered meal vouchers and served breakfast as well. The rooms are wooded and room is very clean you can even smell it in the air. Bed was a good size bed and best of all water pressure for shower wasn’t like other hotels.

The outside made me a bit skeptical but the hotel was very clean and up to date. The rooms were very spacious and beds comfortable. They provide breakfast which has a good selection.

Recently updated room that was very comfortable with an excellent king bed. The room was much quieter than I expected, especially considering it's one block off the main drag of Tijuana. Security was very good. I drove and the security of my car was of prime importance to me. There was a parking lot guard on duty all day and night. The door to the room was very secure against unauthorized entry. The price of the room was mid-range for that area of Tijuana and it easily justified it's cost. I especially liked having an in-room coffee machine. Ricardo's restaurant is just a few steps away from the hotel and has a very excellent breakfast, just don't expect to get in on Sunday morning; it's very popular.

Enjoyed this hotel, quiet, clean, spacious room, pool was clean too small for my liking and only about 3’ deep. Safe for small kids and one suggestion maybe getting non-metal chairs for pool area. They get really hot during summer. Fun in the sun.

The receptionist Ignacio was very kind and swift in accommodating my stay. The check-in process did not take long because there was not a line. The room was clean although there was a little in the carpet but the linen sheets and bed was clean as well as the whole bathroom: sink, bathtub and toilet. I chose the Junior King habitación for my stay and it was great and roomy. The view was on top of the third floor. I would stay here again.

Very clean and safe. Staff is great and if you don't want to eat at the restaurant there are a lot of options just outside and across the street. Its kind of like a food court of taco places a couple of restaurants dairy queen carls jr and a sushi place. Great place for a quick stay just south of the border.

I LOVED this hotel. The rooms have angles in them that make them a litle different than one of the popular brands, but my room was clean, and spacious. The people who worked here were all very friendly. The breakfast buffet was very good, with a lot of tasty choices. I think it was dog-friendly because I saw a couple of different little ones with their owners. I highly recommend this hotel!

Location (most of downtown Tijuana walkable from the hotel including the Centro cultural, el arca y Plaza Santa Cecilia)...while still removed enough that it wasn't noisy and wild all night. Clean rooms, super comfortable bed with excellent pillows (this for me is more meaningful than the bed!), and my traveling partner and I enjoyed the patio on the 2nd floor above the restaurant bar. Felt like home - and a bonus, the vibes weren't super touristy even though most of the guests I saw were foreigners! We were treated like locals. Easy to check in and out, with accommodating staff.

Hotel is right in marked historic area with security it feels safe to walk to near restaurants, bars, shops, and banks. Lots of local people enjoying dining and walking around. Families with children too because there is a carrousel. And of course the fine restaurant in Caesar’s Hotel you can’t miss the experience of having a Caesar’s Salad.

Room was small but perfect for exploring central TJ. Staff let us check our bags early which made exploring the city much simpler. Can't beat Caesar's restaurant. Cafe across the way, Praga, has amazing breakfast. Don't miss El Museo del Tacos either. Food was great and we had fun exploring the vignettes.

I had a quick overnight stay at Hotel Caesars after deciding to stay in Tijuana late and have some drinks instead of driving back. The hotel exceeded my expectations with its great service. While it’s not a high-luxury hotel, it is well-maintained and well-serviced. My room was small but clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities—shower, bathroom, and bed. I slept soundly and had no complaints. One great perk is the free secured parking, which is just half a block from the hotel. They take care of it, so it’s hassle-free. Overall, it was a great stay at a great price. If I ever need a place in the area again, I will absolutely stay here. Highly recommended!

The area is very convenient. It's between Centro and Playas and close to the Via Internacional. There are shops, restaurants and two grocery stores within walking distance.

Location was distant and on a hill on the West Side of Tijuana. It was surrounded by restaurants and many other resources needed to make my stay comfortable. The coffee shop next door was nice. The supermarket nearby was fantastic. The facilities were nice and comfortable.

Location was extremely convenient and easy to find. Facilities were clean, furniture was comfortable, and climate control was well functional. Service was prompt whenever needed, and management was accommodating to reasonable needs. Price was excellent! I wasn't expecting the quality I experienced, relative to what I paid.

I loved my stay. It was a fun experience and I felt safe. The hotel is very clean and well-kept. The PROS: Large room with plenty of space. Clean room with closet and drawers. It has a full kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, stove, utensils, and cabinets. It has a dining area with a table and chairs. It has a living room with a big couch. The manager is a great person and when you ask for something, he makes sure it gets done. I didn't have the need for a safe box because I felt safe and left my belongings out. It has a gym. It is near Avenida Revolucion. The CONS: The internet near the lobby is strong, in my room is super weak. The TV is in the living room and there's no TV in the bedroom. I had to move the TV to the bedroom. The TV is connected only with an antenna, you get about 3 local channels. Netflix is installed and logged in with the hotel account but, the internet is so slow that you will not be able to open Netflix. The shower has cold and hot water but, you can't set it in the middle. The comes out too hot or cold.

Eazy Centro is an absolute gem. The team's accommodating and friendly nature made me feel at home. Its central location makes it a great base to explore downtown Tijuana. The apartments are spacious and much larger than they appear in photos. There is a litany of valuable amenities, including a free laundry room, but what I value most is the comfy bed and quiet space.

Great stay as usual. Clean, spacious and feels like home. Love the staff - friendly & helpful. When I locked myself out of my room during one of the busiest times, they made sure to promptly get me back into my room. Most impt for me is I sleep like a log when I'm there because it's quiet and the beds are top notch.

This is outmr 2nd time staying at this hotel never had a problem, 2nd time we had issues only with the iron, wasn't working, my partner and i had a date night, needed to iron our clothes called front office, took a while to bring a working iron, by the time they were on there way bringing the Iron we were already walking to the elevator, wearing another outfit thy didn't need iron! Had to make an exception to wear another outfit that wasn't expected for that date night! But other than that i give an excellent service!

The rooms are extremely small, and they need to provide more towels. Otherwise, it is a nice hotel. It is a block away from a very nice dining area with good restaurants in one direction, but in the other direction the neighborhood is not so good. Having an OXXO immediately outside is very convenient. The staff is friendly and helpful. No problems overall.

The hotel was 5min from mercado hidalgo. There were restaurants & taco stands nearby. The rio mall was 10min walking.we felt safe in the area. I was so surprised at night, people with their kids were walking from restaurants behind the block. The area was alive with people. There were so many places to visit. The best part no taxis or cars needed to get there. Also there was a store on the corner with everything you would need. We will definitely be back to stay a Hotel kaye 8.

The place was great with no issue the receptionists were very helpful the guy that attended me when I got there was awesome, and the rooms are definitely nice with ac and modern look plus my car was inside a garage with shade. And with good security I felt very safe with my car there will definitely book again when I visit.

Whenever I come to TJ this place never disappoints! It’s affordable, close to the nightlife and restaurants and is super modern. Onsite covered parking and a gate make it feel safe.

The Nook is a good place to spend a night or two in Tijuana not even a block from Avenida Revolución, the old school center of the city's bar scene. Cesar's restaurant (of ceasar salad fame) is a short walk, as are dozens of other restaurants and bars. The rooms are clean and quiet, doing a good job of keeping out the high level of ambient nighttime noise emanating from Avenida Revolución bars. The room was clean, if a bit sterile, and the staff were friendly. The interior of the hotel features a pleasant, retro theme. This is not a destination or resort, but it serves well the purpose of a clean, quiet place to sleep amid the bustle of downtown Tijuana.

The hotel is very centrally located and a good option for the price. It's small, clean with simple amenities and comfy bed, albeit, a bit noisy from the bars just down the street. Nothing horrible if you turn on the tv or use ear plugs. TV didn't have any LIVE Antenna channels, but was connected to Netflix and a few other streaming options. Would definitely stay here again. Good for solo travel, couples, and business. Lots of bars, restaurants, and cafe options a block away. No onsite parking provided, but a safe and inexpensive parking lot is available a few businesses away on the same street.

Its a nice boutique hotel near all the action on Ave. Revolucion. I don't think all the rooms are quiet, but mine was. It was clean and modern and comfortable. The area is kind of commercial and busy, but if you're going out at night near some of the most famous bars and nightlife you'll be right here, it was great for a couple nights.

This is a good place to stay if you're in TJ for a short while. It’s competitive with other hotels on this side of town, it’s just not as flashy and doesn’t have all the extra bells and whistles. The hotel is a few blocks away from Avenida Revolución. It’s about a 10 min walk to Zona Centro (downtown area) and Zona Rio (downtown business district). It's about a 20 min walk to the Playas. Like most hotels in the area, it is not handicapped accessible, so if you have trouble getting up 1 flight of stairs, you will have to stay elsewhere. The staff is friendly, and the place is clean. There were a few gaps in the laminate wood floor in the bedroom, however, the furniture was in good condition, and the bathroom was clean and modern. The bed was large and comfortable. Overall, it’s good value for the money.

The City Express Tijuana Rio is a very good hotel. The location is great. Very close 5 minute drive from the border. The hotel is newer with modern furnishings. We stayed in a 5th floor suite so the extra space was really nice. Our room was very clean and well laid out with full size bed, futon, fridge, microwave and large flat panel tv with cable. The room was very quiet even though there was some construction going on right across the street. The room price includes breakfast which was really quite good with fresh scrambled eggs, fresh fruits, yogurts, cereals and plenty of beverages and breads. The location is great, just a short 5 minute walk to good restaurants and shops close by. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We went out at night and there were plenty of locals and tourist out and about. I would recommend this hotel to tourists.

Perfect for families! It was quiet and we felt safe. Parking has security 24/7. Breakfast was included and it was decent! The only thing that I could complain about was the bed. It was a bit on the hard side.

Very clean and modern hotel. Good location just a few minutes from the border with uber for $2.50. You need a taxi or uber to get to the tourist zone for about 2.50 to 5 dollars. We went to rosarito in the shuttle vans that leave from Calle 3 at a cost of 22.5 pesos each way. Hotel has safe deposit boxes at the front desk and you get 2 complimentary water bottles a day. Very good value.

The property is located in an area out of the busier parts of TJ. Parking does fill up quick and there are a very limited amount of parking spaces underground in the building next door. If you don’t get one of those, you’re stuck out on the street. The rooms are VERY basic but are extremely clean. The staff I encountered at check in were very professional and helpful.

After all help with getting bags in, setting up wi-fi, parking the car and classy service at breakfast - it really felt like a much more expensive hotel than what we paid for, so it was a good surprise. This is a no chain property, so the owners applied their imagination, in a good sense. They have different kinds of suites and rooms, some a basic, others look more fancy. We stayed in a basic room and it was fine. Some things were a bit dated, but it was clean and very quiet, thanks to that courtyard. The free breakfast is a full service restaurant grade. Since it's courtyard with the only way through the lobby where people knew us by name, it felt very safe. Overall, it's a great place, highly recommended.

I want to sure about it we were Driving around to see where can we spend our last night at tijuana and we decided to stay! The place its really nice the rooms a little to small but nice and clean didn't like the fact that they only give 2 pillows but the bed was comfortable. Know the breakfast was really good had to different options and the food was good!! The one thing I really like was that we felt safe at night they close both front and back gate. The only thing I didn't like was other guess were so rude having their kids running around early in the morning and didn't let us rest.

We really enjoy staying here. Everything is updated and modern as well as clean. We were not fond of the neighborhood but a taxi solves that problem. The stay comes with a free breakfast and the staff is amazing. The casino is nearby and Revolution street is not far. I saw something about a robbery , that's probably a lie because they lock the gates at night both front and back and who leaves their window open in any hotel in TJ or USA for that matter in ANY hotel ! We give this hotel 5 stars !

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Frontiere in Tijuana last week to celebrate our 10th anniversary. WE HAD A GREAT TIME!!! The staff was friendly and overly helpful and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. We look forward to going back in the near future!

Doesn't look like much compared to Marriott and others. Not glitzy. But it is a solid hotel. No complaints. Hotel staff were friendly. They don't speak English. If you have high American expectations, you will be disappointed. For Canadians, think of Comfort Inn. That's about the quality and what you should reasonably expect. They did have a breakfast meal plan and this is useful although it is a Mexican breakfast so don't expect an American 2 eggs, bacon and toast kind of breakfast. You can order eggs from the chef and they are accommodating. Reasonably efficient with cleaning the rooms. 3.5 stars. Like a Comfort Inn or Best Western. Mid-range quality but solid experience. Internet was slow the father from the main lobby you are. But they do have a small business centre if you need to use the computer.

Even though the hotel is undergoing some renovations, everything was up and running including a hot breakfast bar and guest laundry. Hotel has an airport shuttle and there are more than half dozen restaurants within walking distance.

Great Customer Service. Breakfast was good and the service was exceptional from the kitchen staff. Many breakfast options. Close to many places.

Clean modern and pet friendly, I’ve stayed here 5 times when I visit. Excellent, highly recommended.

Online it said that there would be AC in the room, but when I got to the room it was just a ceiling fan. Not a big deal in November, but potentially an issue in the summertime. The room itself was small but very clean and comfortable. For my purposes (just a place to get some quick sleep) it was perfect. The location is pretty convenient if you’re looking to enjoy downtown Tijuana. I would recommend the place overall!

Great property!! Only 1 block from the "main strip" Revolution. All the employees were very friendly, the property was very clean and easy to find. We really enjoyed our room we had in the corner and had a view of the street. There were plenty of channels to watch on the tv and the water in the shower was nice and hot. It was great to have a convenience store right next to the hotel and lots of food vendors around. The only down side is that there is no elevators, which makes it hard for someone who has a problem walking or can't take the stairs. Other than that everything was GREAT!!!!

The hotel was exceptionally clean. The employees were very nice & helpful. You can bring your dog. There is a very good restaurant & barber shop attached to the property which is very convenient..I will stay there again & reccommend this hotel to my friends & family.

We missed our flight and had a three-day wait in Tijuana, so we ended up at the Reno, sight unseen. I would call it a mix between basic and perfection. What I mean is, they don’t waste any money on wall art, but the room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable I realized I need a new mattress at home. Our Spanish was limited, but that didn’t matter. We were able to communicate through patience and good will. Excellent air conditioning and hot water. Good taco trucks around the corner and great restaurant, Ricardos, across the street. Mini mart in the next block. Affordable and satisfying!

The room was spacious and practical, not luxurious but very convenient and comfortable, the free breakfast is always great, the ladies in charge are very good.

Over the stay was OK but I'm not sure if I'd stay there again. The room seemed like it was in the middle of getting updated but the forgot to add little things like clean towels, ironing board and bed sheets. Also my 'view' of the golf course was a small window in the bathroom. I will say that breakfast was the best part of this stay the good was delicious and the service was great.

Location, very convenient for what I do, staff is very helpful and friendly. The free breakfast is always great.

I was recommended to the Hotel Suiza by a friend who lives in the city. This hotel is at 924 Ninos Heroes near the corner with Sixth St. It has security, a small eatery, and attentive staff. Price is a very economical 250 pesos per day for a basic room for up to two people. There are double rooms if you need them. Wireless internet being included at no extra cost is a great bonus. I was able to use it to check my mail and make Skype calls. There is a restaurant across the street called. "Plato de Oro" which translates to "Gold Plate" . Food there is tasty Mexican classics at a reasonable price. They have brewed coffee available whereas many low priced eateries bring you hot water and a jar of instant coffee . I prefer the former :-) I have stayed at this hotel many times while visiting Tijuana. It is close enough to the downtown to walk there easily, but far enough that the noise and hustle and bustle is not noticed. Staff do not speak a lot of English, but can get by. I speak Spanish so that is what I have used. There are good discount room rates available if you pay for three days or more in advance.

My wife and I went to the Hotel Villas De Santiago Inn to celebrate Mexican Mother's Day on Tuesday, May 10. WE HAD AN EXCELLENT TIME!! The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the night security guard. Also, the jacuzzi was great! The bed was really comfortable and the room was "secluded". We are planning to return very soon.

The workers were friendly but did not speak any english (except for one person who was not around all the time). We had booked a room with air conditioner, but was placed in a room with only a fan. Once I brought it to their attention they quickly changed it to an air conditioner room for us. The property is old but is being Renovated. The room floors look dirty, but it's just because the room is old. The shower dripped all night but we enjoyed the hot water. The wifi was Awlful. Literally good for nothing. We stayed 2 nights 3 days and didn't get maid service. Location is kind of out of town and no taxi knew how to get there off hand. If you are going into tijuana central then you are better of staying around there. It cost about 100 pesos to go into town and it's hard to get a taxi in that area. If you have a car then this would be a great chesp place to stay. The room was nice and quiet, but the bed was old and springy, also there is no elevator. The receptionist also had little knowledge of expedia. Over all we had a nice stay. The place was quiet and peaceful. The room was decent and the water was hot.

Staff is extremely friendly. Very helpful and welcoming! The entire time, their were several staff cleaning the lobby and hallways of the hotel. The actual hotel itself is a little beat up though. Very old hotel but the staff does a good job at keeping it clean. The showers might be the worst part in terms of quality. Not dirty, just super old and beaten up. However, this was most economic choice in the area if I’m not mistaking.

Friendly staff, room smell good and very clean. Condition of the room is old, water dripping from the ceiling, water pressure for the shower is low. The building is under repair little by little. What I liked about golf hotel was the price, as well as a very nice setting, beings that it was walking distance to the Wal-Mart plaza as well as the local grocery store!! The bed was very comfortable, and so was one of the pillows the other one was a bit lumpy, but believe me everything was nice and clean.. all I'm saying is for the price you pay you get grade A service.. but if you're looking for a high-end motel where you have thick plush towels and everything is elegant then this probably is not the place for you... It's 4 those "commonfolk" 😁😁who are grateful for an affordable place to stay and a safe cozy place to sleep!!!

CECUT, Gallaria a super up near shopping center with a Walmart Super Store, a block from "El pan nuestro" a spanish restaurant within a mall with banks, other eateries, OXOX/7/11, facial clinic, etc. night in the same parking lots a food truck is opened and yummy delights a ice cream, sweets and goodies, on the second level. The black buses run up and down the Blvd right at your door. A few short blocks away is the Grand (2 tower) Hotel with many medical, dentist and other stores and offices inside. Carl's Jr, Smart Find, Natural Health food Store, Homopathy Shop and across from Smart Find Grupo Unidad a church held in a old boxing arena. Fun!

I like the head laundry guy and the cook in the restaurant. This small, old hotel is clean and the water to shower is hot. It is up grading. Repainting walls and upgrading a few other things. It definately is worn but I repeat clean and the location can't be beat. It is close to the border, the shopping, the malls, downtown...acrossed from the Marriot and GolF Campestre and Mercado de Todos and 5/10 if you want to shop where the locals do.

Golf Hotel needs to be rated with a different set of expectations. Some people will be offended by the vintage condition and poor repair standards. However, considering the excellent location with bare minimum accommodations Hotel Golf best feature is its low cost and easy parking lot. If you must have an on-property restaurant, reliable Wi-Fi and large white towels you should pay 2 or 3 times more and get a more modern well maintained hotel.

Overall the accomodations were very nice. Clean, comfortable room. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans & utensils. The staff was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was nice, just be aware that if it is busy you may have to wait for them to restock the food items.

The staff was all very helpful and nice, everything was also very clean, buffet breakfast was very good. We came as a big family group and really enjoyed the stay. We also used the game room which was super fun. The only thing that we didn’t like was the elevators, they weren’t reading the cards correctly and made the up and down process take a long time.

The staff were always helpful and the whole hotel was always clean. Cleaning service left the room super clean. We felt very safe with our two small children. Very accesible for all of our children's strollers and needs. We will definitely keep booking with them.

She was very accommodating and gave us an upgraded unit, which I really enjoyed. The unit was clean and exactly as pictured. The bathroom was spotless and water pressure in the shower was amazing. The bedroom was large and bed was very comfortable. The facility has a modern, chic, trendy vibe, yet very homey. Security was on point, we felt very safe and our vehicle was parked in a gated parking lot. Overall, I highly recommend staying at EZ Rio. I cannot say enough how wonderful the staff were.

The place for the price was great. The building is secure. It's in a good location and you can walk to coffee shops restaurantas, convenience store, and some bars. It's a safe walkable area. The apartment is very minimalistic, but spacious. If you like luxury, this is not the place for you. The shower was tiny, but had great water pressure.

We have stayed at this property multiple times, and it is absolutely one of our favorites. The staff is all excellent and accommodating, the property is maintained very well, is clean, and the amenities are plentiful. The area around the location has multiple coffee, shops, restaurants, and other types of shopping available. The immediate area is highly walkable and safe, and everything else is a short drive away.

I really like how safe it was. There are keycards used to get into the property, into the parking lot, leaving the parking lot and into the room. The parking is a parking lot not a garage, but again, it’s very safe. I loved that we are able to bring my dog, for a few of 500 pesos which today is like $30 for our stay. Online it says it’s a fee for anyone staying 1-7 days. While my dog rested in the apartment, we went out and explored the city. We had no issues with her staying alone. One thing to note, is that there isn’t a place to take your dog to do their business, so you have to go outside to a small section of rocks or in the median of the street that has grass. They have security 24/7. I’ve read reviews about the noise from the bar next door and we stayed on the first floor right across from it. The noise was very muted. It really did not bother us. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The shower is small, so if you’re bigger, it is kinda hard to move around. I liked that there was a full size fridge and a small stove top. If you Olán to use the community kitchen you have to have your own lighter to ignite the stove.

Room is very spacious and clean. Its has a living room, dining table, and small kitchen. Beds and pillows are comfortable. We didn’t have a issue with noise like other comments say, maybe we just went on a day when the bars are closed. The only thing missing is a tv in the bedroom. There is a tv but only in the living room area.

First time staying here and I loved it! If you rent out the balcony suites be prepared to sleep with music on all night, many bars and clubs play loud music all night. I had no problem since I knew this would happen, staff is friendly and professional (based on my experience), if you have an issue they will look for a solution asap. I definitely will be coming back again, location is perfect and it has 2 entries - 1 on Calle Emiliano Zapata and 1 on Avenida Revolución.

Good hotel! The staff is very helpful and the view from the rooftop is amazing. The rooms are clean and nice. Only issue was the lagging WiFi. All in all good hotel!

This is a great hotel centrally located to everything. Shops, bars, restaurants and nightlife. The hotel and rooms were extremely clean and very spacious. This is definitely a place to stay. It was a great price for everything that was offered.

Our stay was pleasant and comfortable. The hotel is clean, almost new and the personnel are friendly and helpful. There is a little noise issue from all the partying just outside the hotel and it doesn't have parking , (there's an added cost for parking) but I'd trade it for the convenience. Great location.

Internet Free wifi kind of comes and goes for me Free water and free breakfast and coffee / tea every morning. It's fruit M-F and hot omelette/sides on weekends in nice downstairs lounge. I love the high, rooftop terrace overlooking the city with beautiful plants, spectacular views of TJ and sunset. Nice kitchen and lounging on the rooftop terrace and it's very clean too. I wanted to give special mention to the older senora who does the desk on weekends She is so sweet And makes you feel right at home.

I love the location right in the heart of Centro. You can walk to the best restaurants and bars. There are many street vendors with great food around also. The staff is wonderful, very flexible and will help you with any problem the best they can. You should take a translator on your phone if you don't speak Spanish that will make it much easier. They appreciate small gratuities. It's very clean all the time they're always cleaning. My room was quiet and very nice. I slept like a baby. I stayed in the dorms this time but I like this place so much I'm going to stay in a room next time those are also very nice with great value. They have a wonderful breakfast downstairs in the new dining room, breakfast room. And I especially love the rooftop terrace! Spectacular views beautiful plants. It's a very relaxing place. Also it's exciting because you get to meet and talk to people from all countries! I've met people from Argentina, Brazil, London other parts of Mexico It's nice to talk to all these different people here in the breakfast room or on the terrace.

It was easy to find and a great price, staff are super friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make you feel safe and welcome. It was a great one on one experience! Free breakfast cooked fresh was so so so good! All in all it was perfect for the price and getting an Uber from the airport was cheap and convenient. Beds were so comfy and the place is super clean. It’s close to everything, restaurants, stores, pubs. The location is really great. Highly recommended!
