Super clean; friendly, helpful staff; great location to downtown Truckee and Kings Beach, North Lake Tahoe. Beautiful bike and jogging path, nice fitness center, pool and jacuzzi. Delicious breakfast!

The property is well taken care of, has a nice jacuzzi and heated pool, good breakfast, and helpful front desk. It’s a short drive to old town Truckee, and in a quiet location. I enjoyed my stay.

We enjoyed are sweet and short stay. Weather was getting unsafe so we pulled over and stayed here. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was good, rooms were clean. I wish there was an indoor pool or hotub.. but other than that it was lovely!

Staff at breakfast were fantastic. I have recommended your hotel just for the breakfast. Well the pool and Jacuzzi is a big part of it as well.

This motel definitely surprised me. Front desk staff was phenomenal, property and rooms very clean, the jacuzzi was amazing with lots of room actually bigger than any other motel I have stayed at. There was a small gym perfect for my needs and the free breakfast was above and beyond with many options for food and drinks. Would give more stars if allowed.

We had a wonderful time. Being in a top floor, we had vaulted ceilings, spacious two bedroom and 2.5 bathrooms. A large fully equipped kitchen. W/D, fireplace, deep tubs…it was so nice. Our east side view also gave us the wonderful AM sunlight streaming thru our bedrooms in the morning. I would recommend doing spot cleaning for the couches and carpets. We also were almost back broken due to the stiff mattresses. Few issues that we made work: jacuzzi was out of order during the visit, fire pits were not functional during the visit, and since it was “spring cleaning” week, we found only 3-4 shops open. But-I would def stay here again, and bring 5 more friends with me.

The property and location ate great. The condo has all the amenities you'd need. Kitchen had coffee and all modern appliances, no dish soap; but had dishwasher tabs the bathroom had shampoo, conditioner and body wash-all good. Nice deep tub and separate shower. Bedroom was spacious and nice patio door and windows. The bed was not as comfortable as we'd have liked. Nice views of the shops. The gondola was right outside the buildings door- so nice . Also lockers for your skis and stuff- free!!! Would stay again

Very spacious 1500 sqft 2 bed 2 bath apartment on the top floor with a vaulted ceiling. North Star is super quiet in early June and there was barely anyone walking about. Many of the shops/restaurants are closed so the "vibe" is kind of dead. But to visit the lake and relax, this was a perfect time to visit. Only 1 elevator for the building would be frustrating in busy times. Parking lot beneath the building. Small gym hot tub on 2nd floor. Close to the ski lift. Nice deep bath tub in one bathroom. Wolf oven. Some wear/tear on things but still clean and functional!

Welk Resort is a great place for a family vacation in Tahoe. The condo was a lovely, comfortable and roomy place for us to stay with our kids and grandkids. The amenities, like the pool and the village provided lots of fun things to do. The gondola ride was an especially big hit with our grandkids! It's also conveniently located to Lake Tahoe. I only have two small complaints-I wish there was a security lock on the front door so a curious toddler can't escape, and I would prefer a regular shower head, in addition to the rain shower head, in the master shower (there's no escaping its spray!).

Great 2 bedroom with the den.Clean,spacious right next to Gondola so no wait in the am. to go skiing.We like to cook and we wish that there were some more cooking and serving dishes but we made it work.We also had some issues with the Wifi so couple of times a day we had to reset the router to get Wifi back but it was fine.Overall great place and wr would stay there again!!

The staff there are all really nice and helpful. We only stayed one night but we made the best of it♡ we got in the pool then in the jacuzzi. Walked around the shops and had breakfast at a little market place. It was very nice! Well go back for sure!

Overall a really great property. We stayed three nights. It was a good spacious room but right next to the Gondola so it was noisy while it was in operation. Also, I hadn’t realized that they do not clean the rooms each night. Our room was not cleaned or refreshed for the 3 nights we were there. As a family of 5 I would have liked a refresh and some new towels. The room itself was fantastic. Very spacious with full kitchen and washer/dryer. Northstar itself is great. We loved mountain biking and the little village is nice with a good coffee shop called CoffeeBar. Service at the Hyatt was very basic. There are no restaurants on site and dining around the immediate area is limited (unless you want to dine at the Ritz close by). We had a fantastic stay. I wouod have given it 5 stara for our overall experience, but as a mom on vacation I would have loved to come back each day to a refreshed room.

We did a family, early visit. It was so beautiful. Staff was amazing, nice and the town was amazing and festive. Only thing that was slightly disappointing was the village. The stores closed early, and the bars were also closed except 2. As adults we looked forward to an evening on the town after a long day of boarding, jus for everything to close down at early hours for a Friday and Saturday. As far as the hotel. It was epic. And very nice, comfortable.

The front office staff was wonderful! I think the lady's name was "Fredlee", and she was so kind! The room was nice with comfortable beds and a wonderful deep tub that I was able to take a bubble bath in. I'm over six foot tall, so that was a wonderful surprise to have such a big tub! The fireplace was a disappointment, though. It was such a small gas flame. The view from the room had some trees but also staring at a big parking lot. That's why we didn't use the balcony. It was nice to be close to the Villa, but everything was really expensive. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Gorgeous land and buildings. Amazing room. A door on the master bath cabinet in our room had broken hinges and it looked like it had been that way for a while and not repaired. The shower felt a little awkward with no good place to hang your towel while you shower so you could easily get it when you're done. One of the drawers in the master bedroom would not stay closed and would slide open slightly by itself. Overall, an incredible place to stay.

It’s a very beautiful resort with 3 restaurants, pools and jacuzzi. Not to forget the spa!! We loved the grounds, biking and hiking pathways. Our suite was clean but didn’t feel upgraded. The beds, furniture had an old feel and so was the case with hallway carpets. Otherwise it’s a wonderful property.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel—it was the perfect family-friendly getaway. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. There were plenty of activities for both kids and adults, including a fun pool area, kids’ club, and evening entertainment. The location was great, and everything we needed was either on-site or nearby. Our room was spacious and comfortable, ideal for families. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like kids’ menus and family activity schedules. It was a relaxing and fun-filled experience for all of us. We’d definitely come back again!

Everline Resort, a name that isn’t really memorable, but formerly Squaw Creek Resort, is a nice property attached to Palisades Ski Resort. Having its own lift to Palisades is great, having restaurants, shopping and facilities on site make it a very convenient spot to spend a few ski days. I’ve been several times and find it a solid spot. Especially this last trip as the restaurant options seemed to have improved. 6 Peaks Grille was outstanding, ended up going there twice and it was exceptional each time. Also have a pub and noodle house onsite. The staff is very helpful and do a great job. The rooms are getting a little worn and are in need of a remodel. A free breakfast buffet would be an amazing addition. The negatives: A $50 “Resort Fee” charged daily, that’s absolutely ridiculous and is now a widely used hotel gouging tactic that needs legislation to bring it to an end. How about $15-$20, but $50 is greedy and despite all the positives leaves you questioning ever returning anytime soon. Just a blatant cash grab, they can do better, and should.

Beautiful property! July 4 was a busy weekend, but the staff were amazing. By the pool Hannah was amazing. Checked in with us every time she walked by. She was friendly, professional and always went above and beyond! Jess was amazing too! Always there when things needed to be done! Housekeeping came every day and did an amazing job! We ate in the buffet every day. Dumplings were delicious! All the staff pitched in to provide excellent service. We also loved Sandy’s Pub!

This resort is very conveniently located right at the Palisades Resort and Olympic Village. It has a chairlift, so you don’t waste any time getting to the slopes in the morning. Breakfast costs just $30 for a very rich meal including the omelette station, fruit salad, pastries, charcuterie, waffles, etc. It feels you up so much that you don’t get hungry until the evening helping you to stay on the slopes longer without wasting time on lunch. I used the recreation center shower and sauna at the end of my last day even though I have already checked out in the morning. Driving home wearing a fresh set of clothes after a nice meal at the property’s restaurant made a huge difference. I left a bit later than the rest of the crowd and didn’t have to make a stop to get fast food on my way home, so I got back to SF about a hour quicker than usual. I recommend this property for a weekend getaway either with kids (they have different activities and playrooms to keep kids entertained), or with your friends or significant other. It’s easy, convenient, worry-free, and very pleasant. Staying at this property made my last skiing trip of the season very memorable - a true highlight of 2023-2024.

Post covid 19, we are frightened to go to any hotel but since we had to travel and stay at a hotel, we chose Ritz. And I’m so happy that we did! The precautions they take to sanitize and clean everything just made me feel so comfortable. They pool area is only available by reservation so they know the number of guests being there. Max hours allowed by the pool is two hours and they take 30 min in between to clean up and sanitize for the next group to arrive. This made me so comfortable to know that the staff take such measurements to make themselves and everyone else safe.

The overall stay was ok. The location is the best part of this hotel. The room was clean but dusty. The air circulation in the room is not good. The staff was very professional and friendly. The living area of the hotel was nice. We had a couple miscommunications with room service/housekeeping. I requested a room to be cleaned and left for an hour. When I came back no one touched the room. The restaurant area is nice but the food is so overpriced. I would expect something more gourmet for the price. The spa is below average and definitely can take improvements. The hair dryer was so dirty. The trash can in the rest area was overfilled with trash making the whole relaxing experience not pleasant. The hair products are cheap. I didn’t want to use them.

We stayed 3 nights and our room was very nice. A little dated and no fridge (very strange). The bed was very comfortable. We never once eat at the resort, used the pool or any other facility so I can’t give a very good review of those things, but we they all looked very nice. The property was beautiful, and not to far from most places we wanted to see. I hated the shower head. Felt like you were showering under a pressure sprayer with no way to change the pressure. The valet parking head nice, but between the resort fee ($55 per day), the required valet parking ($55 per day) and tips for valets ($20 per day) the extra $130 per day seemed a bit much. But again we didn’t use any of the facilities so we basically paid for nothing (not their fault). We got a very good price on the rooms, so Overall I would be willing for to stay there again if I got the same deal or better, but I wouldn’t pay regular price for the rooms. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Employee in restaurant use the same map to clean tables and chairs. And again clean the tables after cleaning the seats after guests. And waiter put silverware just after her on the surface of the table. Did not use napkins, just put silverware on contaminate table.

Our cabin was very cute. It has that cabin vibe. With a pool Jacuzzi and fire pit, you can’t go wrong.

The staff was incredible. Charlie, Sean and Liam were so kind and friendly and helpful. They offered to help us find transportation when we got snowed in while on our wedding anniversary trip there. Charlie scraped snow off our car to prevent a travel hazard for us. We plan to be back again to stay here. We felt like we were staying with friends. Exceptional experience here. Our Cabin was cozy and quiet and private. The earth stove was amazing and the jacuzzi in our bathroom was the best. Perfect experience here.

We recently stayed at Cedar Glen Lodge in Tahoe Vista. What a sweet lovely resort. The rooms were recently updated and are lovely and have that cabin resort feel. We had a room with a kitchenette which allowed us to prepare our own food. A definite perk. The resort is a work in progress it has lots of activites and a pool, The pool area is nice, but definitely could use some updates along with the outdoor carpeting on the patios at the lodge. Despite that we felt it was clean inside the rooms. Private beach access across the street. They provide beach chairs and coolers if needed as well. The service is excellent. We had an issue with our reservation, but with prompt assistance by all the staff and Charlie the manager it was cleared up. The staff was extremely helpful in general. It was a surprise birthday party for a family member and it was made extra special by having it at this resort. It's a great location, quiet with amazing views of the lake. We will stay there again!

This is one of the most beautiful and cozy cabin to stay. Especially for someone who lives in California Bay Area, this is a very nice weekend getaway relaxation resort. Pros: very nice location right near Lake Tahoe. Cabins are comfy and beautiful and very clean. Electric charging station option. Very friendly staff and very helpful. Cons: you don’t have breakfast buffet option and another very minor one. Bathroom shower water is very slow. I think this is mainly because of the California drought, any hotel or resort you go usually the showers will have additional filters to limit water usage. Well this would be ok during the summer but when weather outside is very cold, having water running this slow might be a big disappointment for some guests.

Was going to be in Tahoe for the day and decided to stay overnight. The cabins were cute and cozy, beds were very comfortable, I love the deep soaking tub in our suite. It was perfect location to see the lake and close to a lot of fun shops and delicious restaurants. Customer service was amazing, we had such a great time, I would love to stay again.

Very utilaterian. Everything was close. Loved the jacuzzi abd pool. Staff was nice and I loved that I could bring my dog. Breakfast was great and nice rich dark coffee.

The front desk staff was friendly, efficient check-ins and check-outs. The room décor was a bit dated, but well-maintained and clean, nothing dusty. Though there was a stain on a stool. Room has microwave and minifridge, fast Wi-Fi and good water pressure. Covered drop-off area with ample luggage carts for gear transport. The pool was closed, but jacuzzi was open and towels are available from front desk. The breakfast maintains the Hampton Inn standard..

We stayed here for a golf getaway, we used to stay here when it was the Hampton. The renovation looks amazing, upgraded rooms, updated spa. The rooms were bright , clean and roomy and the staff was so attentive. The expresso machine was a nice touch too! The motion detector set off a super bright light, not so pleasant for the other sleepers, could use an off switch. Perhaps because it was newly renovated and it’s not finished, we were disappointed in the breakfast, the room was beautiful but there was only coffee, juice, cereal and some tiny muffins. Hopefully there will be a larger selection in the future , having a breakfast on site was one of the perks we really enjoyed when it was the Hampton. Looking forward to trying this hotel again next year!

We stayed at The Hampton Inn & Suites as a family. We were there for a baseball tournament. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. It was convenient to have a hot breakfast but the items I tried (sausage patties and bagels) were not very tasty. It was fine for my husband and son. My only other complaint is that the air conditioner was really loud, even with my earplugs in. That all being said, it was clean and safe and I would definitely stay there again.

We got a sneak peek of the newly remodeled rooms at Martis Valley Lodge, and they’re absolutely beautiful. The rooms were clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with a modern mountain vibe. The beds were super comfortable, and we loved the peaceful setting surrounded by nature. It’s a perfect base for exploring Tahoe, and the staff was warm and welcoming. The lodge is now open, and we can’t wait to come back for a full stay!

Super comfortable & great local. While the in room jacuzzi is super old school & heart shaped , it is such a good bath for a single or two people. Worth the blast into the past!

Wonderful place, very clean and friendly. Great location :) 3 mins walking distance from restaurant and beach. Safe and quiet. Easy to find. A lot of parking space. We stayed in suit with spa. The bed cozy and smells on clean. Great little vacation:)

The inn at boatworks is a great value for Tahoe city. Clean, renovated rooms. Coffee maker, coffee, microwave, dog friendly. We love it here. It’s perfect for couples or families and walking distance to everything in Tahoe city. My husband and I were there during a huge snowstorm and they kept the driveway plowed every AM. Staff and housekeeping were so friendly. Stay here ! We will definitely be back.

This place is located quite conveniently at the edge of downtown Tahoe City, a 3-minute walk to Safeway and easy access to the lakeside trail and park, as well as several eateries and a Tahoe Dave’s for snowsport gear. Registration was quick and without hitches after we got a courtesy call that we could check in early. There was plenty of parking despite the snowdrift occupying several spaces. As for the room: The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathtub was rather blockish but it contained enough hot water for a good aprés-ski soak. The fridgeling was fine and spacious but the freezer slacked off such that we tragically had to throw out a near-full box of ice cream sandwiches. The fridgeling and a microwave were all there was in the way of a kitchenette. I also appreciated the amenities, including a bag of locally roasted coffee and nice local toiletries. Though it is just above the lakeshore above its namesake Boatworks, the view from the bathroom window gave on the facade of a shopping mall ironically named Mirada. All in all, it gave us what we needed, and they let us bring the dog.

This was the first time my wife and I stayed at this wonderful property. It is located right along the main drag in Tahoe City. We pulled into a parking lot with plenty of wide parking spaces and a very nice first impression of the inn. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was a King Room and it was spacious. You can see the room has been recently renovated and it looks great! The bathroom is huge with a nice big shower and ample counter space in the tall sink area. The bed was very comfortable and the room had great lighting, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a chest with drawers for your clothes. The whimsical nautical theme throughout the property and the room is tastefully done. The property is within 5 minutes walking of Safeway and CVS in one direction and downtown Tahoe City in the other direction. We love this property and will look forward to coming back again.

Service was amazing. We stayed just in the hotel room for 2 nights and it was a very nice stay. Beautiful and clean. We had dinner within the hotel. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. The sauna wasn’t working, even though nothing was broken. The jacuzzi wasn’t used, we tested the water and it didn’t seem pleasant or hot. We decided not to use the sauna or the jacuzzi. We appreciated the staff and check in with check out times were simple. We even got to our room 2 hrs before check in time.

We loved the modern, clean room. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the complimentary coffee in the morning, the hottub, and fire tables. We highly recommend this property (1 mile from downtown Truckee) and would stay again if in the area! Thanks for a great stay Gravity Haus!

This was an amazing stay and such a good experience. The whole property is in such a great shape, we played bocce, corn hole, and enjoyed an outstanding dinner at the onsite restaurant Stella. The amenities were great including a free welcome drink, complimentary coffee/tea/electrolytes, etc. The beds are comfy, modern interior, spacious balconies, and everything was super clean and in working order. Staff was extremely friendly and supportive. Hotel has 2 EV chargers you can use for free.

The property was well maintained, beautiful wood and green plants. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The fire pit and spa were enjoyable. Tea and coffee in the lobby delicious. Shower was amazing! Did not eat at the restaurant.
