Every staff member was delightful and was my favourite thing about this hotel - Sophie at the restaurant was a sweetheart, reception always greeted you with the biggest smile as you walked past, housekeeping and even security guard all very friendly!! Being seated for check in and then taken to the restaurant afterwards for a welcome drink all felt so nice, it really kick started a great vacation. Bed was very comfortable, location was great with plenty of restaurants around and monkey forest just a few minutes walk. Breakfast can be chosen from a menu and comes with tea & fruit platter. The western options werent tasty but the Indonesian options were delicious. If you miss breakfast due to an early start, they can arrange a breakfast box of pastries & juice. We were able to pick up a breakfast box from reception at 1.30am before our Mt Batur sunrise hike.

Cosy 32-room hotel, 3 levels served by elevator. Our room was on 3rd level, spacious, clean, bright, peaceful, overlooking the compact swimming pool. Beds were comfy. Ample hangers, and a drying rack in the balcony. Four 300ml bottles of drinking water provided daily, free of charge. Our room rate included breakfast. The breakfast menu was excellent with a good hearty variety. When my room mate was out on a sunrise trek and could not make it back in time for breakfast on one day, the restaurant staff kindly packed a take-away breakfast box for her. Spas, convenience stores, cafes, eateries, 2-storey supermart, open till late, all within 5 mins walk. Shops a bit further away, but still within walking distance.

We had a wonderful stay at the Anumana Ubud Hotel. The hotel is beautiful, well-located, and has a very relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-equipped, and the pool is truly a peaceful oasis. A special thanks to Maliki, who made our stay even more enjoyable with his kindness and warm welcome in the anumana restaurant (btw the food is very delicious 😜). He was always attentive to our needs and ready to help, which made us feel right at home. The entire team was also fantastic, always friendly and professional, making our experience even better. I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay in Ubud!

It’s a beautiful haven in the midst of the bustling Ubud centre. The hotel is beautiful and definitely wows you as you go in. We ate dinner a few times and it was brilliant as were the drinks and breakfast was always great. The rooms were super comfortable but the best thing about this hotel is the staff. The staff are incredible. So warm, welcoming and helpful. Dewi at reception was always welcoming and always remembered us and she was so helpful in sorting out our safe when I locked myself out and any time we asked anything of her, it was done in seconds. All the staff are a credit to the hotel. The best thing for me though was that I celebrated my 40th birthday on our first full day on Bali. When we finished breakfast the staff came out with cake and sang for me. It was so unexpected and so heartwarming it literally made my day. When we came back to the room after a day of sightseeing the room had been decked out for my birthday and it was so beautiful. I will always be thankful for how they went above and beyond for us and I will be recommending Anumana Ubud to anyone I know headed to Bali. Thank you all for making our holiday super special.

Really loved our stay at Anumana. Everyone was so helpful and friendly at Anumana. Everyone always checks on you to make sure you are okay. They really went above and beyond on my birthday - had a room set up, and my husband had planned a romantic dinner, which was absolutely stunning. Although not a buffet option for breakfast ( room service option available for those morning you want a lay in). They have so many choices on their menu for breakfast and absolutely delicious. The staff really made the stay enjoyable. We will be staying here again should we return to bali.

Service is excellent - our stay started with a resort tour, welcome drinks and a welcome snack (samosa). Every single one of the staff was friendly and helpful. They topped up our water bottles and gave us as much water as we asked for, always with a smile. We attended the free 1h yoga class - instructor was good. We also rented a small scooter from the resort for one day for 80K. Our room was upgraded to a suite! The outdoor bamboo shower is awesome. Room is clean and comfortable, aircon works well. Wifi signal is strong. There was a wide selection for breakfast and it was delicious. The whole resort is pretty and relaxing.

Everything was great! Highly recommended! Good design and cozy apartments in Balinese style! We really enjoyed our stay there, everything is super clean, white and nice quality towels and linen, thank you so much for daily cleaning and changing towels, it’s super comfortable! And very comfy and big mattress! You will sleep with sounds of jungles, it’s fantastic experience! Amazing shower zone. Room is very spacious. Location is in a tranquil zone, no music at nighttime. Staff is super friendly and nice!! Good breakfast by menu, and you can add anything for extra price if needed. And nice spa, I enjoyed a lot!

I had a very lovely stay in this resort. The breakfast/dinner is delicious and can be consumed on your private terrace, which I really appreciated. The Spa and its staff is very friendly and has 'golden hands.' Go and try the Balinese massage, you will not regret. The room is spacious and exactly what I have expected: warm outside shower, outside bath, spacious bathroom and private terrace to relax.

The hotel was more beautiful than I expected, comfortable and in accordance with the holiday mood. Our room was very spacious, the terrace in front, the outdoor bath was just perfect. And the staff was just amazing, I have never seen such smiling, helpful staff, who go out of their way to make you happy and satisfied. The food in the restaurant was also excellent, including the breakfast included in the price.

We stayed here for 10 nights and it was great experience. Starting with very friendly and helpful service, delicious food and super quality spa treatments. The room was very clean and spacious with a nice view from the balcony. Daily yoga sessions were very professional and suitable both for beginner and advanced people. The shuttle bus was going very regularly to the centre of Ubud, back and forth. Totally recommending!

Beautiful hotel, the room was incredibly spacious with a huge comfortable bed and an amazing bathroom. Loved the rain shower and bath. Everything we needed was provided. Pristine. Every single staff member was welcoming, friendly, kind, and helpful. We were assisted in any questions we had, they organised a hike up mount Batur for us. We had our laundry done- easy and efficient process. Massages were excellent. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared. We felt lucky to experience the dinner with cultural dance on the Friday. Thank you for a great stay!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to ensure you are well taken care of. The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious with a clean, modern decor which I loved. The hotel also has an infinity pool overlooking a great expanse of trees and greenery. There was a good selection for breakfast which was always freshly prepared and tasty. The environment of the hotel was just so serene and peaceful which really made for an enjoyable stay! Another plus was the complimentary shuttle to the centre of Ubud which was very convenient. I will definitely be returning😊

Vije was an all around wonderful place to stay. Close to Ubud but away from the hustle and bustle it has a very peaceful feel. The resort is beautiful and the rooms super comfortable and well equipped. Food in the restaurant was amazing and the staff were absolutely delightful, attentive and so friendly. Couldn’t recommend more highly if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing stay in central Bali.

Very comfortable bed, stylish design, lots of space to put your clothes, spacious, modern, the bathroom is huge, turn down service they leave a cute note, restaurant food is tasty, nice breakfast, beautiful pool and surrounding, ask to have a river view room the outlook was so nice, staff helpful. Little gym and area to do yoga. Would stay here again 100%.

Amazing and wonderful place. So peaceful and clean. Nice decorations Everything was above the standard. Check-in went smooth the staff is proactive and so friendly, they make sure everything goes well. The room is big with nice furniture and very confortable bed. Yummy breakfast with freshly made fruit juice. The view from the terrace in the morning was incredible. If you’re looking for a luxury and affordable place …this the place to be.

This hotel far exceeded my expectations, and I dare say made my entire stay in Bali. My partner and I loved it. When we arrived (late in the evening) the woman at reception, named Dewi was wonderful. She was very helpful and explained all of the amenities and uses of the grounds and in our room. She helped us pick some places to see in town, and even arranged for laundry service, which was a huge help on our trip. The room was perfect, we stayed in one of the huts and it was quite comfortable and more spacious than we were expecting - even for my partner who is quite a tall guy. The bathroom was lovely, also roomy and river rocks everywhere which was a nice touch. Add to that, the room looked out directly onto the pool - just a few steps from our porch. The porch was great to relax and read, chairs, and lounging pillows everywhere. And we went to the bar for free breakfast in the morning, and delicious dinners at night. The live music and local bands were great! We really enjoyed sitting in the top level of the restaurant while the music was going on, and checking out the scene. It was always a haven to come back to after a long day out exploring. The grounds are always quiet and scenic, and the pool great to lounge by + take a dip whenever! The restaurant is popular at night, but it adds very much to it's local charm. I am telling all my friends about this place. Some day I hope to come back soon! Our reservation was upgraded to the honeymoon suite "Eternity" so it was quite spacious and had its own private pool. We had several visits from the local monkeys. The bed is comfortable and the decor is funky and artistic. Rooms are provided with shampoo, liquid soap, and natural bug repellent. They also provide glass bottled water which is refilled daily or upon request. The property is within walking distance of Ubud center but you walk along a shortcut path next to the Monkey Forest. It is quite busy with motor scooters and can be a little intimidating in the more narrow spots but the scooter drivers watch out for pedestrians. It is also within walking distance of several other restaurants if you choose not to take the path. The breakfast provided at the restaurant is tasty and filling though the menu is not extensive. We also had good appetizers and beer one afternoon at the restaurant. The front desk staff are all very attentive and helpful. We were greeted with smiles every time we returned to the property. They easily assisted us with getting a driver to take us to the airport, as well. It was a great place to simply relax!

Bali Bohemia was a great place to stay! The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was great and the room was amazing. When we asked for a tea and coffee for the room they provided us with a kettle and ground coffee as opposed to instant coffee which was much appreciated. The restaurant on site has entertainment a couple nights a week and we were lucky enough to be there during the open mic evening which was great. The location is within walking distance of the market area in Ubud and there are multiple shops, spas and restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

Had a wonderful stay in Bali Bohemia! It was a really quirky, novel and pretty place to stay. Rooms were large with lots of space. The gardens were beautiful. The hotel is very central, literally 5 steps away from monkey forest and less than 10 minutes away from the central streets of Ubud. The reception staff were wonderful! They helped us with everything we needed including tours, travel transfers etc! No request was an issue and they were both so so friendly! As mentioned, the gardens and pool were gorgeous and we had been warned that the monkeys come in but they’re aren’t friendly and will take your stuff so it felt a little uncomfortable to chill around the pool. That is a very small complaint however because there is so much to see do and experience in Ubud so there’s little time to be there anyways! The restaurant was super tasty and offered a gorgeous selection! The open Mike night was fun and lively too!

Once you step in Bali Bohemia you’d feel you are in a special world. The style, the colors, the deco, the scent, the vibes, the smiles and friendliness of the staff all added up to the liveliness yet peacefulness of the place. The owner is always there to greet you personally with a big smile. The room is stunning, spacious, clean and comfortable. Sitting out at balcony is as pleasant, you easily get carried away watching the cute little garden and pool with a landmark bohemian bridge. The morning sun makes the whole place glow! Hearty breakfast is served in the hotel’s restaurant which is decorated as vibrantly. Food and drinks are great, we had every mean there. The only thing we missed was the live band that I read good reviews about. The hotel was the total uplift and highlight of the trip. Will definitely revisit and stay for extended period. Bali Bohemia is truly a gem. I’m still smiling thinking about it :)

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Visesa. The moment we arrived, we felt so attended to. Besides warmly greeting us and assisting us with checkin, the staff also offered to perform a welcome blessing ritual for us and suggestions on what we could do around the resort. The jungle room we booked was spacious, clean, quiet and peaceful. I liked that the resort paid attention to details, from providing fresh bath salt daily to changing only the necessary bath and floor towels. So I felt like we did our part in being eco-friendly, without comprising on luxury and comfort. The resort also has padi fields, a garden, farm animals making an appearance in the morning, spa and activities all day. So there’s always something for us to do. We also enjoyed the dinner at Lumbung restaurant that’s situated just within the resort compounds, and features a mini natural waterfall at the al fresco area. Even the staff here were friendly and welcoming. Thank you!

What an absolutely magical stay at Visesa Ubud Resort with our family (2 adults and 2 daughters)! Our trip coincided with both our daughters' birthdays, and the hotel went above and beyond to make it truly special. Their room was beautifully decorated for the occasion, and nothing was too much to ask for. We had some unusual requests, like needing dish soap for baby milk bottles, but no matter what we asked for, it was provided promptly and with a genuine smile. The entire luxury vibe and serene environment, complete with picturesque rice paddy fields, and opportunities for duck and cow feeding, made every moment memorable. The convenient buggy service to the center of Ubud dropped us right at the famous Ubud markets and the Palace, which was incredibly handy. The central location of the resort was perfect for all our Ubud activities – ATV riding, Bali swing, rafting, and visiting the Monkey Forest were all easily accessible. The entire trip was simply amazing, thanks in huge part to the incredible staff at Visesa. We will absolutely be back, and we're already planning to send our parents to Visesa soon! One small request for the management: given the significant number of Indian tourists visiting the resort, it would be wonderful to see a more elaborate Indian (especially vegetarian) selection on the menu.

Gorgeous property. Stayed in the family suite which although they say can only fit max 3 people, are large and spacious accommodating my 4 person family. Staying on the resort is staying in your own lux jungle retreat. It's nice and quiet in this jungle retreat. Breakfast is a dream serving a buffet of Malayasian and American food. There is a shuttle going down to town if a 15-30 min walk doesn't suit you but it only comes x4 times a day. If you desire a day to stay on the resort, there's much to do from hanging at the pool, visiting the gym, taking an agriculture tour, taking a fitness class, or enjoying any of the 3 restaurants on the property, or just strolling around the gorgeous property. If I were to go back again, I would definitely head back to this amazing resort.

We loved our stay at Visesa! Absolutely stunning, tranquil grounds, super friendly and attentive staff, comfortable room, though a tad outdated, great massage therapists, and wonderful breakfast buffet. Only a mile outside of Ubud town center so we were able to walk to everything so great location as well. The gardens and rice fields were so peaceful and calm!

We stayed at Plataran for four nights, and overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Plataran is a hidden oasis in Ubud. Despite its central location in the city, the hotel rooms are set far away from the busy streets. We were impressed by the expansive size of the resort, which is surrounded by spacious patches of paddy fields and tropical bushes. The view from every corner of the hotel is absolutely stunning, and we took numerous beautiful photos during our stay. We were also delighted with our suite room, which was spacious and comfortable. It featured a balcony with two cosy chairs, facing the swimming pool, lush garden, and a rice field. The buffet breakfast offered a variety of tasty options, including Indonesian cuisine and Western-style dishes. We had no complaints about the food. The staff at Plataran were welcoming and friendly. We received warm greetings from the staff wherever we encountered them during our stay. We also made use of the gym a couple of times in the morning. We appreciated the well-equipped fitness house with floor-to-ceiling glass, which provided a pleasant view of the beautiful rice fields and playful ducks while we worked out. Additionally, we tried the spa, and it was a very relaxing and satisfying experience.

Absolutely amazing stay!! The hotel and grounds are beautiful - an oasis in the center of Ubud, just steps from many restaurants and an easy walk to the Monkey Forest - but feels secluded, quiet and serene. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, they made our stay very pleasant. Breakfast buffet was abundant and delicious. Highly recommend! We hosted a meeting here as well and the venue is gorgeous, snacks and lunch provided was amazing, and the meeting details were well executed and everything was perfect!

We had a fantastic stay at Plataran Hotel and Spa, so much so we extended our stay another night. The hotel and facilities are very clean and well finished. The grounds are well kept by the staff and the activities looked very appealling (we did not have time to try one). The hotel is set in a great location to access all the local amenities within walking distance. We ate in both restaurants. The restaurant at the front of the hotel near the entrance was a nice place to sit and have a drink. We had meals which were okay, but felt more of a snack as the portion was quite small. The View restaurant however was fantastic - very tasty food with a fantastic view! The breakfast was also great, good selection choice to suit everyone, and again, the staff were amazing. I would absolutely recommend Plataran as a place to stay in Ubud. We stayed in four 5 star hotels in our time in Bali and this hotel was certainly one which was up there with one the best at a reasonable price.

My stay was an absolute delight! The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my stay was perfect. The location couldn’t be better—situated in the heart of the city, everything I needed was just a short walk away. Despite being in a busy area, the hotel itself was peaceful and quiet, offering the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The room was great for two, clean, and comfortable. Truly felt like a home away from home. Considering the excellent location, high-quality service, and comfortable accommodations, I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable the stay was.

The staff were wonderful, so friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable with a lovely view out across the pool, and the balcony was nice to stand out on. The breakfast restaurant had a beautiful outlook, and the breakfasts were lovely. A smallish continental style buffet (with lots of fruit to choose from) and then a choice of mains (both Balinese and European from the menu.) Position of the hotel is super - you feel as if you are in the countryside, and yet you are only a stone's throw from the main areas of Ubud. There is a lane that takes you from the guest bedrooms to the main restaurant which then leads out onto one of the main roads in Ubud. It took us about 30 minutes to walk to the Palace and the main market, although the hotel helped us with taxis, and made everything very easy if we wanted to get anywhere.

We absolutely loved this property!! Entertainment on site and a restaurant/bar. Everything was within walking distance from restaurants, bars, shops, and places to see. Breakfast was plentiful, flavorful, and had great choices. Staff was phenomenal and very friendly with always greeting us and asking us about our excursions. The monkeys were great entertainment every morning at breakfast! Very clean room, comfortable bed, and beautiful view of the pool, lush vegetation and flowers from our balcony! We felt at home!

The rooms were clean and a good size. We had interconnecting rooms for our family of 4. The balcony has monkeys visit every morning from 6:30am. They jump from balcony to balcony and make some noise so prepare to be woken up unless you’re a heavy sleeper! We didn’t mind the early wake up call though as it allowed us to start our day. The staff were attentive and helpful. Breakfast was a La carte off the menu with fresh fruit juice and a fruit platter to start every morning. The hotel was on a main road and just a few minutes away from the monkey forest. A million restaurants to choose from at your doorstep. The pool was a bit small but did the job for a dip! Overall, we loved our stay and would recommend the hotel.

The property was clean & modern. We had a room with walk out to the pool which I highly recommend! It’s so nice & convenient! The staff were all friendly & helpful. The food was delicious at the restaurant. You can walk to many many restaurants within 10 minutes. Also they rent scooters at the hotel for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended that as well. We would stay here again!

The hotel was perfect for our 3 night stay. Other than breakfast (which was great) we didn’t eat at the hotel restaurant as there are some fabulous eateries within 5 minutes - Ibu Susu was our favourite and just across the road. It is well located for dining and drinking and the monkey forest is just next door. The hotel itself is tastefully decorated, clean, with great facilities and the staff cannot do enough for you. We had a superior room with pool view and had everything we needed - but we only really slept there as there was too much to do outside the hotel. A highlight was having coffee on the balcony first thing in the morning and watching the monkeys creating havoc around the pool! I would definitely recommend this hotel when staying in Ubud.

Anumana Hotel is absolutely brilliant. Its position is central to absolutely everything around Ubud, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the rooms are modern, spacious and very clean. Anumana is highly recommended as a great place to stay to discover all that is Ubud. All of the staff are outstanding, however, I would like to mention one,I was negligent in getting his name but a staff member that really stood out lives near the Pende Ege Babi Guling restaurant and gave us the best advice and service that you could desire.

The grounds and the rooms of the Runik are just beautiful. The pool/bar/restaurant area is lush and tropical and the room has Bali vibes with modern conveniences. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and the patio was the perfect place for a morning coffee (and the bamboo drying rack on the patio came in very handy!) I found the location to be perfect. Walking/scooter accessible only, so off the beaten the path and away from the craziness of downtown Ubud. When at the Runik, it's quiet and peaceful and feels like you're in the countryside, but it's only a quick scooter ride or short walk to the main road...sites, restaurants, etc. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful and went out of their way to ensure my luggage was taken care of (I left early for an excursion on the day of my check out and was not returning until late that evening to pick it up). As a solo female traveler, I left very comfortable and safe staying here.

The staff was amazing. Friendly, warm and very accommodating! Our hotel room was in the second building towards the back (2nd floor) and was very nice. The drying rack on the balcony was much appreciated and water for drinking and/or brushing teeth was replaced daily! There is a mosquito net around the bed but honestly in five days we only saw two mosquitoes! The location of the hotel is great as well since it is situated on a side street not accessible by car! However, it is just a very short walk of 2 min to the next main street where you can be picked up by a driver for tours if necessary (e.g. at the M Mart). We mainly chose the hotel for its central location and it was easy to walk everywhere (although you always have to watch your feet in Ubud since the sidewalks are in bad shape or non-existent - normal for all of Bali though!) There are rice fields around the hotel so it is really quiet! You sometimes hear geckos at night but that is no surprise in Bali either! The breakfast is also good! You have a choice between a continental (juice, toast with jam, pancake, fruit platter or yoghurt, coffee/tea) and an American breakfast (juice, egg and warm breakfast, fruit platter or yoghurt, coffee/tea). For rainy days they offer umbrellas to take with you to town, which was really great! The garden is small but really beautiful. For us it was our first hotel in Bali during our stay and it was the perfect start for our holiday!

It was quiet and cozy hotel located slightly inside the main street of Ubud. Good reviews shops are not far from the accommodation (massage, gift store, etc.) Breakfast was delicious. Garden and pool with full of greenery and beautiful decorative sculptures. Additional points will be given to room. Comfortable and spacious bed and large bathtub inside the bathroom. I recommend it to those who are looking for accommodation that is quiet and has full of Balinese vibes!

We slept better than we have in months! Clean room, comfortable bed with pillow selection, nice bathroom with great rain shower and bathtub (suite), great pool, quiet surroundings, and a 10 minute walk to the center. You can have breakfast by the pool or on your own balcony. Mini market, restaurants, cafes, and spas can be found around the corner.

Welcoming and attentive staff. Peaceful and private setting with outdoor jacuzzi. Very clean facilities. Authentic breakfast menu with variety of choices served promptly on the veranda.

Spacious villa with a huge private pool. Bathtub was huge. Beautiful design. Exactly like the picture. Room was slightly small, no space to keep luggages. Extremely clean. Helpful staffs with good English. Strong WiFi. Breakfast served on time at the villa. Great location,walkable distance to marts and cafe. Convenient. Quiet at night. We tried all their breakfast options. American and Indonesion breakfast was superb. Served with rich bali coffee and freshly blended fruit juice. Romantic stay.

This was a great choice. The hotel has an excellent location, very close to the main street of Ubud, but just far enough down a side street/lane to be quiet enough to sleep. We got a pool villa and were impressed at how large and deep the pool was (I wrongly assumed the photos made it look larger than it was) and the nice outdoor seating/garden area. The villa itself was large and comfortable (not completely new, but well-maintained and clearly clean). Staff were all kind, welcoming and helpful, they could not have been better. Breakfast was nice, served daily by the pool. We got a good price and considered the villa exceptional value for what we got. We got transfers and a day tour and really liked the hotel's driver, who was a competent and safe driver and very calm and friendly - I would recommend pre-booking transfers, especially if arriving at Ngurah Rai and going straight to Ubud.

Private Villa Wayan is the perfect location if you’re after a balance of relaxation and not too far from Ubud central. We stayed at Villa Wayan for pure relaxation and that’s what we got! Two large villas with private bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchenette with large fridge and cooktop, outdoor dining table and chairs with another large fridge provided. Lounges were provided for pool area. The space was clean and well cared for, the gardens and pool a highlight for outdoor time lounging around. Beds and pillows were comfortable and clean, mosquito nets provided. Bathroom area was spacious and clean, all functioning well. Private Villa Wayan is situated close to taxi area and some wonderful restaurants (Warung Mesari and Two Sisters), small grocery stores and beauty spas. *the spa at the top of Two Sisters is wonderful! Clean, peaceful and the ladies provide the best massages! Our host Agus was so lovely, warm, friendly and super helpful. Private Villa Wayan, we’ll be back!

A lovely villa with everything we needed. Beds were very comfy. All the staff are so helpful and go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Great location, close to some great restaurants and had the best massage at the spa a couple of minutes walk away. Highly recommend. All the locals were so lovely and friendly too. Felt very safe.

Private Villa Wayan # 4 was a lovely tropical little two bedroom , two bathroom private gated villa with it’s own pool the perfect size for cooling off in. It is one down a quiet, cute lane about 20 minutes walk into central Ubud. The location was great as it is close to a number of good restaurants, cafes and little shops to buy essentials. You can grab a “Grab” (like Uber) at the end of the little laneway for touring or to take you into town, to the main Bintang supermarket or back if you don’t want to walk. The villa is well equipped with all you need. The beds are super comfortable and the open air showers in our villas were lovely. The owners and caretaker are very welcoming, responsive and do their very best to ensure you have a fabulous stay and we definitely did!

The pool area especially was so calm and relaxing. The bedrooms were cool and spacious with comfortable beds and high quality bedding. The staff were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The location is out of town but with a number of restaurants and cafes within a few minutes walk. We loved the fish pond and other wildlife that visited including two dives and numerous geckos. We stayed in various places during our visit to Indonesia but this was the most special.

Absolutely fabulous! A beautifully decorated bedroom, with a gorgeous and huge stone bath tub, as well as a very large comfy bed. It was extremely clean and all felt rather luxurious in fact. Breakfast was also included which was enjoyable. The staff are FANTASTIC!! So friendly, kind, polite and professional. Good location being close to Ubud centre and easy enough to get to. Highly recommend.

This stay was definitely better than expected. I thought I had essentially booked a homestay so I was quite surprised at the view, how big the room was, and that it had more of a hotel/small resort feel. It had everything I needed and the staff was kind and helpful. I forgot my charging converter and they had one. I was there I was able to get an affordable massage right in my room. Overall the room was clean. It’s a little dated in terms of needing some new paint in a few places but overall I was quite comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay! The villa was spacious, spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were amazing (especially Nyoman!), so friendly and welcoming, and they cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning. The staff at Grand Ashanti were amazing! They waited for over 2 hrs for us after being delayed at the airport and in traffic. They were easy to communicate with and very obliging. The breakfasts were great. We had the entire villa. The bedrooms were enormous and the beds super comfortable! We all loved the clean pool. Upstairs room had a lovely sunny balcony. The stairs are steep so perhaps not ideal for little people?. The villa is tucked down a quiet lane way and only a 15min walk to the art markets etc… Eateries nearby and small supermarket nearby.

Beautiful spacious villa with private pool and jacuzzi. The all glass windows slide open along the pool, connecting the room with the pool area nicely. Bed was comfortable. Two separate air conditioning units indoors and ceiling fan is also available. Unlimited filtered drinking water available on request. Staff super friendly and helpful. Location-wise beautiful area with smaller rice terraces around, but one needs a scooter to get around. Hotel rented us the scooter as well which was very convenient. It’s about 15-20 min scooter ride to Ubud town, lovely cafes and restaurants along the road. Much more peaceful than Ubud town. There’s a restaurant pretty much connected to the property, however not part of the hotel, with nice outdoor seating and pretty good menu with western/Asian dishes. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

The ambience is wonderful, you will be spoiled for choice on where to take pictures from. The breakfast, staff, and property cleanliness was beyond expectation. The property offered early check-in and late checkout and arranged taxi pickup to any location we needed to go to. The private pool has three convenient ways to jump into from the house, namely from the living room to the Jacuzzi, then into the pool, from the bed to the pool or from the outdoor shower into the pool. Then they have Mr. Dwi, their star staff who will wow you at the reception, will meet you when you go for breakfast and will also drive you around whenever you need a ride.

it’s so comfy and stylish,best hotel we stayed so far.i stayed alone with my 2y old daughter and it was super convenient,because i could see her from the pool,bathroom or anywhere ,it’s so nice you can just jump to the pool from your bedroom and there’s jacuzzi too to enjoy which is great at night and it’s private,no one can see you ☺️i would definitely come back with my husband . And last but not least i would say it’s the most important staff is just beyond expectations,they helped me with anything i needed and which was out of the ordinary. They even cooked special food for my little one as she’s very picky with the food.Thank you so much! Definitely recommend !

The staff were exceptionally amazing and helpful. The place was so clean. The breakfast wasn’t great at all. They need to work on having extra and more varieties. We asked for cheese just any type of cheese and there was nothing but over all they were very good, great service and very helpful

This is such a gorgeous little boutique hotel, it really exceeded all my expectations. It's hidden on a side road just outside of Ubud, is set in a wonderful lush garden with tall trees and vegetation, a pool designed like a rock pool and overlooking Paddy fields. All the interiors are wonderful, with lots of fun design details, a mix of art and design from Indonesia and elsewhere in the world. The team were friendly and hospitable from before arrival to when we left, and Wendy the owner was really helpful with recommendations for shopping and eating out. Every room is different - we stayed in an upper room which was spacious and comfortable, with a big outdoor balcony/sofa, four poster bed and an outdoor bathroom/shower. Breakfast was tasty, we enjoyed the fresh coconut water, spicy eggs and home-made crumpets and jam. My tip - hire a moped, it's only 5-10 minutes into town and so much easier to get around.

Wonderful small hotel consisting of 6 villas set in a beautiful garden with a pool and separate building with dining. Our Villa - Skyview - was stunning with comfy beds and gorgeous outdoor bathrooms. It was perfect for a family of four with lots of space. The staff were exceptional, as was the food. Breakfasts were a real treat and my kids loved the freshly baked cookies delivered to our villa every evening. The location is perfect, away from the noise and pollution of Ubud centre, but not far by taxi if you time it right - avoid rush hour! If you’re looking for somewhere quiet, comfy, luxurious and don’t go for the big hotels, this is perfect. We had massages in our rooms & they were great. This was everything we’d hoped for when I first discovered this property, and more. It made our holiday in Bali.

Without question my favorite place to stay in Bali. Ubud is magical in itself but Stone House makes it a true paradise. We stayed at Stone House as a stop on our honeymoon. We loved everything. The level of service is bar none. The friendly and helpful staff, Lulu and Bella the resident pups, the dreamy tropical decor, the thoughtfully curated design, the attention to detail (I mean EVERY detail), the delicious home cooked meals, there wasn’t anything overlooked here. We stayed in the Treehouse (which was such a cool experience as well insanely relaxing), had breakfast in the mornings and enjoyed a dinner prepared by their chefs one night. We were fortunate to meet one of the owners while she was in town (who is SO sweet) she gave us a list of shopping stops while in Ubud and chatted with us numerous times during our stay. I can’t say enough about this property except that I wish we had stayed longer and we can’t wait to return!

Stone House is a tranquil oasis of calm and beauty away from the bustle of Ubud centre. Set in beautiful well maintained jungle grounds and behind its own stone wall (that means nobody knows it’s there) you can relax and be looked after by the staff who make it all so easy for you. The food is high quality Balinese all cooked right there beside you as you sit overlooking the pool and grounds. Every room here is stylish (I had a peek at the Java room and farmhouse) and luxurious. The poolside toilet is something to behold and so represents the owners artistic eyes. Comfy beds, inside/outside toilet and shower and my own balcony to relax on made this room perfect. I would recommend it to anyone who likes their peace and calm with a side of luxury.

Omg… this hands down one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. The attention to detail was just fantastic!! The breakfast was amazing . We also had dinner there one night and that was delicious as well. The staff are all so kind and attentive. The room ( we stayed in the Java suite ) was stunning. It was decorated so beautifully and the bedding was great as well. The nightly cookies were delicious too. Erna helped with all of our questions , helping us a ton even before we arrived at stone house. The owner, Wendy, was so kind and friendly! She really made us feel welcomed. Overall, highly highly recommend. We will be back!

Our stay at Sakti Garden Resort was incredible thanks to the amazing staff, their attention to detail and friendliness made our stay, right from the welcome drink, to helping us plan our stay and holding our bags for the last day. The resort itself was stunning, the rooms were spacious and clean with a balcony overlooking the beautiful grounds and the pool was like swimming in a jungle river. The location: Outside the hustle and bustle of the city center made it perfect for our stay, jungle views and peaceful. There was a regular complimentary shuttle bus to the center The pool: beautiful pool with lots of greenery surrounding it and a swim up bar with attentive bartender's, the juices and drinks were very fresh and tasty The spa: one of the best massages we had on our trip, the spa area was beautiful and relaxing The restaurant: breakfast was a treat each morning with good quality pastries and fresh buffet style, with an egg and coffee station. We had a lunch at the hotel and the food was very delicious

I stayed here for three nights with my friend to celebrate my birthday, and it was such a wonderful experience! We booked the package with breakfast and lunch included, and both exceeded our expectations. The breakfast menu changed every day, with so many delicious and healthy options. Lunch portions were generous and the food was also really good. The sweetest surprise was how the hotel quietly noticed it was my birthday — they prepared a little celebration for me during breakfast, and when I returned to my room later in the day, I found “Happy Birthday” beautifully arranged on the bed. It was such a heartwarming touch that made my day even more special. The hotel itself is very peaceful and surrounded by greenery. Our King Room was spacious for two people, with a big window and a lovely small balcony overlooking tropical plants — so relaxing to wake up to that view. Room service was quick and attentive throughout our stay. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this hotel. It’s quiet, comfortable, and full of thoughtful details. I’ll definitely recommend it to all my friends, and I’d love to stay here again next time I come to Ubud.

Everything was perfect until the smallest detail. Close to Ubud center. Very clean room with everything you need. It's big enough, with a small but nice balcony with a great view. Quiet rooms, with quality curtains. Comfortable king-size bed, nice generous, well equipped bathroom. Beautiful alleys with well-maintained plants and dreaming swimming pool (pool towels) with a drinks area. Excellent breakfast with lots of tasty choices. The wonderful personal is always helpful and smiling. They also serve lunch and dinner. Great yoga/meditation places. We wish we could have stayed longer. This place is incredible. We felt very well looked after by the staff. The facilities were beautiful, the infinity pool had a spectacular view of the jungle, and there was also a bar and a restaurant available next to the pool.The breakfast is so good. There was no buffet, but a menu with several options to choose from, and the presentation was amazing. Great service, the people were always attentive. In general, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rate includes an afternoon tea with dessert, which I think is very good. They also arrange the food in case of any allergies. The room was spectacular, clean, and modern but keeping the Balinese essence. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very big and nice. There was always bottled water to drink since you cannot drink tap water. The room was cleaned twice a day. Our room had a cozy terrace with a view toward the rice fields. Peaceful location, very quiet. It is a 10-minute walk from the main street of Ubud, which can be noisy. Close by there are many cafes, restaurants, stores, a grocery store, and an ATM. We had a cold before our stay here, and the service we got from the hotel staff was fantastic. They were very attentive to us and offered us complimentary tea. The facilities were amazing. Everything was very clean and well kept. Our room service was amazing, thank you to Jaya. The infinity pool on the rooftop was amazing with a great jungle view. The food was delicious from Pistachio, which is the hotel restaurant. The complentary breakfast was way better than expected. The location was great because there are plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars within a 10 minute walk. The monkey forest was also a quick 10 minute walk. There was a great variety of western establishments and local establishments to chose from depending on your preference. We had a jungle view room and it was fabulous. The staff was absolutely amazing. Very friendly and helpful with everything. Very humble and hard working people. Dedix was our personal driver during our stay and he was amazing. He drove us around to all of the places we wanted to visit and was very knowledgeable on the culture here in Bali. He explained everything very well and took the time to answer all of our questions. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to show us around. If you stay here, I would highly recommend requesting Dedix. We also had a lovely massage at the spa, actually a couple of massages because they were so good. Special thanks to Rita and the other girls at the spa. The next time we come to Ubud we will definitely stay here again. Definitely a 5 out of 5.

Exceptional from start to finish, the service , staff , room and crew all were outstanding! Extra touches , upgraded to a rice terrace view. Breakfast can be taken anytime , this was a great opportunity and personal pleasure. Afternoon tea coffee & cake free of charge from 15:30, what a wow factor. The spa staff were great, listened to our requests, the treatments are a MUST. Book this hotel , I would re book again without hesitation and definitely recommend! The prices also worth a mention these are fair and reasonable, these are not over priced hotel rates. The food and drink, unusual for high end hotels are affordable , two great restaurants on site one has amazing views of the valley. The beautiful preparations and well presented tasty meals, the delicious cocktails. Well done a true credit to the hotel and all crew for making our experience memorable. Thank you !

I stayed there for 12 days. It felt home from the deep welcome and warm care. I felt am staying with my own family. It was very pleasant and high hospitality. Loved that you can order the breakfast your room at anytime of the day. The place is super beautiful and charming. The pool has amazing view that makes you feel you’re in heaven. Services is amazing. Room and place is clean and they come to clean it twice a-day. I loved everything. The location is perfect. They arranged couple of services for me and I am more than pleased. Receptionist, restaurant 1 & 2 and cleaning team and spa team were all amazing and i felt very welcome. The view from balcony and from the bath tube is heaven. The space of the room is very good. We are currently on the last day of our 10 night stay and we cannot recommend it enough. We came here on our honeymoon and I was a little hesitant to be in such a central location but once you enter the complex it couldn't feel more serene. The team in general are exceptional. The front desk will help with anything and everything from sourcing the incense they burn for you to have in your room, to putting up a screen for additional privacy. The villas are amazing, super considered and the open plan of the GF makes it feel all the more part of nature. The bathtubs are incredible and I'm never a fan of baths, and the private pools are more than generous. The real standout star is embers kitchen where you have breakfast included but can also have all your meals at. They have an incredible sustainable garden that each morning you can pick vegetables from for the chefs to cook (highly recommend the aubergine and the bok choi). The food and the drinks at embers are in my opinion some of the best in all of ubud and are far superior to the sister restaurant copper which gets better reviews. Embers and the team that work there are one of the most underrated things in ubud. If we are their every day I would be happy and we have just eaten at 3 3* Michelin restaurants in the past month, so believe the hype. We want to say a huge thank you to the team at Bisma Eight, we will be sad to leave but the memories will be with us. Side note and other suggestions for people staying in the area.

This was our favorite hotel of a 2 week trip to Asia. The streets around Ubud are busy, loud, traffic everywhere, but when you walk into the hotel, that all changes. It is so quiet, serene and relaxing. The front desk greeted us with a welcome drink and were very friendly. Our room was a canopy suite, with a living area including a couch, table and chairs and tv. The bedroom was separate as was a wonderful bathroom area. There was even a Japanese soaking tub which we never had time to use. The infinity pool is gorgeous with a beautiful view of tropical trees and flowers. Breakfast, which was included, was wonderful every morning in an airy outdoor area. There area couple of restaurants at the hotel also. There is so much shopping and dining options right outside the door. The monkey sanctuary is a short walk too. We would love to come back to this hotel if we are in Bali again!

Quiet, peaceful, and tranquil…exactly what looking for. I booked the Forrest Room and I had an excellent stay at this boutique hotel. Morning meditations while looking out from my view of the forrest was relaxing. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. The food options for sit down or room service were great. I also booked a Balinese massage at the property’s spa that was very relaxing and rejuvenating. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing as usual!! This was my second stay at Bisma Eight. What a wonderful hotel. The rooms are comfortable. The grounds are lovely. The forest is enchanting. The infinity pool is fabulous, overlooking the forest. Yoga with Cok was wonderful. The breakfast was perfect. The activities available on site were great. Best of all, the staff - just wonderful, so friendly, helpful and accomodating. 10/10 recommend this hotel to everyone!

Exceptional hotel and resort - so beautiful, so peaceful and quiet, in the middle of nature but still accessible to downtown Ubud. I loved the location because while I could walk into town, it felt miles away from the craziness and noise of Ubud. It was a dream, the facilities (especially the pools and yoga room) were so peaceful, so beautiful. I barely wanted to leave the resort, and the staff were fantastic. I will only stay here on future visits to Bali, it exceeded all expectations. I stayed in the most basic level of room they offered and was stunned - it was so spacious, so impeccably designed, it felt super luxury. With a jungle-view balcony (HUGE!), perfect A/C and wifi, and the most amazing bathtub (felt like you were in nature). There was even a gym, basic but suitable for me. The staff cleaned and did turn down service every day, they were so helpful and the breakfast was amazing. Honestly, there are a lot of properties in Ubud but I don't think anyone could be disappointed to stay here. I feel so lucky to have discovered Wapa di Ume.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay!! Probably one of the nicest resorts we’ve ever stayed in. Couldn’t have found a better place for our first trip to Bali. What an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud! The rooms are luxurious and immaculately clean with a really comfortable bed, the pool and other facilities were extremely nice (LOVED early mornings at the infinity pool and the Boreh ritual massage and treatment), the food was excellent (breakfast had so many delicious choices of Indonesian and Western dishes), and the BBQ Culture Dinner we booked was an absolute highlight (food and traditional dances). The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and proactive and going out of their way to help with anything (I had so many questions and things to get organized, and they did it all). We particularly loved our half-day trip with their driver Polo (Sukrada), who also picked us up from the airport, and was so knowledgeable and kind - he made sure we really learned about Balinese traditions and we loved our conversations over breakfast with Ms. Sumitri, who just has such a delightful sense of humor. But everyone was really nice and professional and we wish we could come back here one day!

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon and it was just sensational from the minute we arrived. The hotel and the surroundings are stunning, the staff are so kind and so helpful, the location is great for being quiet but also an easy walk to a mini mart and a couple of nice restaurants, or a short drive to the centre of Ubud (there are hotel shuttle runs or easy to get a Grab). Our room was beautiful and so clean, with daily cleans and fresh water and a turn down service in the evening. Breakfast was fantastic - a big menu of options including many vegetarian, with a plate of fresh fruit, a pastry, coffee, water and fruit juice included. Afternoon tea included at the infinity pool was lovely for days when we were at the hotel with a lovely selection of biscuits and cakes. Morning yoga glass was so peaceful in such a beautiful location. I would love to return!

The Resort is beautiful and offers stunning view of the rice fields . The staff is very helpful and incredibly nice . I travelled with my baby and I never ever felt so welcomed and taking care of . Every single person who worked there made me feel at home and always ready to help . Delicious breakfast . Very comfortable bed . The rooms are spacious and sparkling clean . 2 beautiful swimming pool . Delicious cocktails , you should try the spicy margarita . The hotel is located in a beautiful street , away from the hustle of the main roads but you have easy access to everywhere . Very good value for money . If you go to Ubud this is the place to stay. I really liked the layout of the resort. It is kind of divided in two areas. The first area being the lobby, restaurant, rooms and some villas, a pool and rice fields! The second part, you crossed a bridge overlooking a river/jungle, where you had most of the villas, more rooms with jungle views, an infinity pool with jungle views and the fitness building. The resort was not busy at all and it was really enjoyable walking and exploring along the walkways, especially because of all this nature. The villa was really clean. The beds very comfortable. The bathroom was huge! The pool was nice as well, although we didn't really use it (most of the days were pretty cloudy and pool temperature was chilly). We didn't have any issues with insects in our room. Breakfast had a nice selection and was decent! We didn't try the restaurant, we preferred eating in the local Warungs near by the resort. You can ask the reception for a rental motorbike. The shuttle bus (every hour) to the heart of Ubud was great! Only a 5 minute ride. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Some of the architecture of Wapa di Ume fits well with the surrounding nature, the stones reminded me of being in a temple somewhere in the jungle.
