Lovely hotel - we had a suite with an outdoor jacuzzi. Nice stay with the family with seperate areas for 18 Good entertainment and the staff went out of their way to ensure you had a great time.

The property, accommodations, amenities, service, cuisine, beverages, beach, and butler service were exceptional. We highly recommend this establishment. The skyview jacuzzi suite provided an unparalleled luxurious experience. The meticulous housekeeping service included three daily cleanings. We highly recommend this property.

We stayed at the Mirage in the Mirage Club Rooftop jacuzzi room. The room was great, and the rooftop terrace was fantastic for a late night drink or to watch a sunrise. These rooms include butler services. The property is impeccable and I mean spotless, from our room to the public bathrooms to the pool and the beach. The food at EVERY restaurant and buffet was excellent. I mean excellent. The quality, and the presentation. The buffets were incredible! I cannot truly list the food because it was everything. The coffee shop on site absolutely blows away any Starbucks or true coffee shop However the greatest strength of this resort is the staff. Eduardo our butler handled everything. My request for a birthday cake at one of our reservations surpassed my expectations. He took care of everything I requested and looked after us with a personal touch. Always finding us in the morning wherever we were on the property to make sure everything was ok. He cares about his customers and honestly makes you feel like you can kick back and just relax. Eduardo is the best! The service staff were incredible as well. Luis in the French restaurant with help from Marylin - I’m sorry I know I’m not spelling your name right- made my girlfriend’s birthday celebration even better with their attentiveness. Miguel Angel, and Carlos at the Seaside restaurant would work into the night and be the first smiling faces I’d see in the morning for breakfast. Happy and attentive and always helpful. 👏

Resort Stay Review – Swim-Up Room (Age 39) The Room: Upon arrival, I was initially disappointed. While the room was clean, it had an odd smell and didn’t quite match the polished look shown in the photos. It felt a bit outdated. The jacuzzi tub, although clean and functional, had corroded jets and a broken drain that wouldn’t hold water. The Swim-Up Experience: At first, I was upset to find our swim-up room was on the outer edge of the resort, facing a shared pool with a few neighboring rooms, some landscaping, and unfortunately, a service road. Throughout the day, workers, cars, and mopeds passed by, which wasn’t the relaxing view I had imagined. However, after exploring the resort, we realized the inner swim-up rooms—while more visually connected to the resort—were constantly busy, loud, and lacked privacy. In contrast, our room, while not perfect, offered peace and seclusion that we ended up preferring. The Beach: As a Floridian from the Emerald Coast, I can be a tough critic when it comes to beaches. I was pleasantly surprised—the sand was soft and clean, free of shells or rocks, and the water was beautiful. There were plenty of beach chairs, though you do need to get there early to claim one. Property was very clean, staff were friendly, we felt really safe during our stay. Food was great, and service was good. The only thing that disappointed me was the in suite jacuzzi, the drain plug was broken, so the water was just draining, we were not able to use and enjoy that feature.

The mattress was the best I’ve ever slept on. Having a jacuzzi in our room was fun. The beach had a lot of seaweed piled up on the sand that could be cleaned up. The facilities staff were very loud outside the rooms starting at 8:15am. Elevators down frequently. Nighttime entertainment was generally very good but wish there were more live musicians throughout the property during the day (jazz trio, traditional salsa/merengue combo, steel drum, marimba, dance lessons). A 24/7 TV channel with hotel property events info would be helpful.

The moment you arive at Magestic Colonial Punta Cana you are greeted with a wet wash cloth and a cool, tropical drink. The staff is eager to assist with your luggage, check-in, scheduling reservations in restaurants, scheduling excursions or simply helping in anyway they can. We stayed in an Ocean View Junior Suite with a Jacuzzi. The room is very nice and spacious. The bed is extremely comfortable. The view is breathtaking! The many restaurants are plentiful with a large variety of options. I highly recommend the steak at the Chop House and the Japanese Hibachi restaurant. The breakfasts every morning provide anything you can imagine. The fresh fruits, crepes and omelets were amazing! There are bars wherever you look. They are very generous with their alcohol, it is NOT watered down. In the outside bar, we met the nicest bartender named Domingo that was truly one of the best we've ever met. He remembered our names and our drinks. He had excellent recommendations and surpassed our expectations. He was simply phenomenal! We were there every night to watch the wild parrots fly in for the night. Best memories ever! The beach is very nice. There are plenty of beach chairs for everyone both near the ocean or by the pool. There is entertainment near the beach and near the pool in the staff who engage dancing, yoga, and games. This resort truly has the nicest, most helpful staff I've ever encountered. From the waiters, waitresses, bartenders, housekeeping, retail, EXCELLENT!

I can't say enough about this property. Just beautiful. It exceeded my expectations. My husband and i celebrated our anniversary and from beginning to the last day was fantastic. The property is huge and beautiful. Tons of bars and restaurants and the beach is a stone throw away. Everyone was kind and accommodating. Our suite was amazing with two private outdoor spaces, completed with a jacuzzi, full bar, our private butler, wonderful housekeeping staff, access to a VIP club. A spa, a chapel, nighty entertainment, private dinner by the beach.This is one of my favorite places and would be packed and ready to return in ten minutes. Darel our butler is the best there is. He went above and beyond from the moment we made contact till the moment we got on the bus to leave. Our pick up was with Gomajestictours.com. The moment we got to the counter it was pleasant. Apart from the language barrier which was very few, and our room getting lost after a few margaritas..haha, this was a beautiful vacation. Highly recommend

Majestic Colonial was an interesting place. The location was beautiful and the staff were phenomenal. Everyone greeted you with kindness and warmth. Our biggest problem was the room. It wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been. Mosquitos were all over the room. Dead ones were still on the walls and our jacuzzi was not worth going in at all. Samuel our butler was incredible with request and whenever we needed our room clean he would send someone to clean it. But I believe they need to do better with the upkeep and cleanliness of the rooms. Overall it was a decent experience but do be mindful of your stay here.

This was a get away for my wife and I without the kids. I really enjoyed the excellence club and the adult only side. The private pool for the excellence club that was adults only was very relaxing with a swim up bar. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. All the restaurants and the buffet were above my expectations. We opted for the room with our own pool. I believe it was a Jr. Suite with Excellence club upgrade. It was nice having our own pool and our own jacuzzi/jetted tub. We will be going again!

This property was amazing. I see reviews complaining about the food, but it was great to me. Food is always subjective. We ate at Legends for lunch, the Market for breakfast and lunch, and at Lizo and Brass for dinner. There was always something we liked. We had entertainment throughout the day, so there was always something to do. Our room was cleaned everyday and we were offered turn down service. The mini bar was stocked everyday. My only complaint was that the jacuzzi tub did not work.

Stayed in the balcony with personal pool and jacuzzi. The staff was amazing and there’s so many amazing deals. A massage is a must and I recommend doing at least one activity with the staff because they will give you a good laugh. Food was really good for an All-Inclusive. Felt like an intimate honeymoon because the Adults Only side was relaxed and peaceful. Could be because of the time of year (April) or the guest that were there (many couples young to old).

Overall, the property was nice. We had a great room overlooking the ocean. Clean, comfortable, plenty of space, splash pool and jacuzzi were all great. Plenty of complimentary champagne, alcohol, drinks, coffee, water and snacks. All food was complimentary, but nothing too exciting. Plenty of restaurants on the property, but many were closed or when we ordered food it arrive cold. The staff was excellent. Be prepared to use What’s App. I was not informed they would contact me via the app and missed a few communications until I happen to check the notifications.

Lets always start with the good. I only have 2 "suggestions". First, this property is meticulously kept. The upkeep is constant. They never let anything get away from them it seemed. The smallest details were always addressed. The grounds also are beautifully kept and any seaweed was addressed early in the morning each and every day. I opted for the excellence club which in my opinion was worth it due to access to private restaurants, club and upgraded mini bar and room amenities. There is a family side called Finest and the adults side is Excellence. You also get private beach access with food and drink service and yes, is all included. The room was excellent. I had a private pool room. Had a nice deck to lay out on, and indoor jacuzzi. The room is very nicely sized and the bathroom had more than enough room. The bed was outstanding and they have both daily maid service, but evening turndown service as well. Mini bar service was also daily, if you want or need something in particular, just ask your mini bar person, they will absolutely provide what you need as best they can. Staff was excellent with one exception I will mention shortly. Wilson at the pool bar was great and Rony in the club. My two drawbacks was food in the buffet was always lukwarm to cold and I wanted to extend my stay by a week and I talked to two different staff members in the excellence club. The promised to get back to me to make that happen but sadly never did. Thats why I need to hold back one star

The property was absolutely beautiful and well maintained! Most of the staff at the resort were very friendly and helpful. I need to give a huge shout out to Guest Services!!!! I had finals for school while I was there and needed internet to do my work and they went above and beyond to help me out! They didn't have to help me like that and I am so thankful and grateful to them!!! This was my first all-inclusive experience. My son really took to Julio and Felix at the beach bar/restaurant, they were so kind and friendly to him. It really made an impression! Junior at the regular swim up bar was amazing, attentive, and made great drinks! We really enjoyed ourselves at the pool everyday. Francesca that was a server in the beach restaurant was amazing! We had her a couple times, she was always friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, everything was great, we really enjoyed our time there and will be back!

Literally almost everything was perfect! I’ll just start with what I think needs to change. We stayed in a garden view room. The room could use some upgrades. Jets in tub were showing major corrosion, shower drains and shower heads need repair. The couch had some wear and tear and the king bed is 2 twin box springs pushed together..ours were uneven. We had 3 rooms here and they all needed the same kind of repair. With that being said we would STILL stay here again. This resort and staff were spectacular. The buffet was a 10/10 every day all day. The restaurants were amazing!! The pool is so huge you feel like you have your own private space. Foam party the best pool party I’ve ever attended. Lots of places to get drinks and the drinks are great. “Kiddie” pool amazing..even the adults enjoyed the water slides!! The shows were so fun and interactive with the crowd. We loved the Michael Jackson show. The staff here is so friendly, from front desk to room attendants, restaurant staff…everyone 10/10! We did 8 days in DR, the first part of our trip was spent at another resort..we did not have a good experience. We were beyond happy we chose to switch hotels to Majestic. We would recommend this resort a million times!!

Breakfast and dinner at the Supreme Buffet Restaurant were great, lots of variety. Staff is extremely friendly and attentive. At breakfast on the last day of my stay one of the waitresses brought a hibiscus and inserted it in my fiance's hair.......beautiful. Service at the other restaurants was great as well. The attendants at the lobby bar were great and kept us going throughout our stay. Rooms and premises in general are very well maintained.

Tasty food, nice swimming pool, spacious comfy clean room, good bars with great drink options, good restaurant, nice facilities, friendly and welcoming staff, the spa was amazing

Thé rooms are spacious, and all have a jacuzzi tub. the property itself is well kept and beautiful. All restaurants are close to one another. it’s very easy to find everything you need

The beach was clean. The sand was white and very soft. The water was clear and refreshing. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We had a king size bed, Double sink, collage size refrigerator (that was stocked with beverages) and huge wall closets. Dinner was fun. Each night that we went the staff was very friendly, professional and courteous. The buffet was great. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plenty of food options.

My husband and I stayed for 8 days to celebrate his birthday in this amazing resort and we loved it so much!!! It was our second time staying here but our first time in the “elegance club” section and it was the best experience ever! We booked a swim up suite and we’d love to go back, you have your own sun beds and cabana in the patio right beside the pool. The staff even made it more memorable. Shout out to mi familia Carlos, Stephany from Sea and See they absolutely made my husband’s birthday dinner special, Luis from the Italian resto, Hilda and Juan from the French resto. The friendly Francisco from the Larimar workshop, the helpful Melvin and Raibel from the gym, and our most creative, professional butler Juan Carlos Martinez. You are all amazing! We will definitely book again.

The hotel was superb; very spacious, great amenities, beautiful and plentiful food. What made the stay extra special was the unwavering friendly and helpful staff members across every area. From Kesner the bellboy who settled us into our room, to Geraldin, Emicia and Cesar in Guest Services who happily assisted us daily, to all of the restaurant staff who couldn’t be more helpful and attentive. Special mentions for Yafreisy and Carlos (Excelente!)

Our butler Randy was awesome he was helpful with setting our dinner reservations and also prepared our room to Celebrate my wife’s birthday. I truly recommend him to anyone arriving at property Only concern was the pool water level was low so skimmers were not working to get rid of debri and the jacuzzi had similar water temperature to pool

This resort was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, and we loved our time there. Our butler, Edward, truly helped make the experience magical for my girlfriend and I (we were celebrating her 30th Birthday), and I have the UTMOST gratitude and thanks to Edward for all of his help. Before I begin - I almost did not book this resort due to the 3-5 year old YouTube video reviews I saw online. Those videos are Extremely out of date, and this resort totally shines in everything it does! Customer Service: The Customer Service here is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND I AM EXTREMELY GRATEFUL FOR EVERYONE! To name a few people that truly made an impact on our stay for the absolute betterment of it are: Edward, Tony, Albert (or Albessard), Sandy, William, and Cindy. There were many other people, but I did not get all of their names. Rooms: We Stayed in the Jacuzzi Terrace Suite Beachside. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Had a ton of space to relax in the room for days we wanted to unwind. It overlooked the Adults only pool, so we could relax with a drink. It had its own outside jacuzzi that has jets that run (just rinse it out first prior to getting in - like all jacuzzi tubs anywhere). The room was absolutely amazing. The only problem that we had that got resolved very quickly was the toilet. During mid-morning, our toilet would not flush. We contacted Edward (our butler), and we had maintenance come a fix the toilet within 30 minutes - 1 hour (which was no problem for us). character limit reached

We travelled as a group of 9 friends/couples in 4 rooms. We could not recommend this more! We had a second floor room with a huge balcony with a jacuzzi tub; despite being next to the main pool the space felt private and quiet. Our Butler Norielis was AMAZING. She took all the stress off our shoulders, coordinating everything for our big group including our a la carte dinners, spa massage day, excursions, and bringing more snacks and beverages to our room. We were entertained by the all-star Animacion team - Albessard, Claribel, and Stahylin! From pool bike/spin class, pole class, aerial yoga, trampoline fitness, cooking / cocktail classes, and private dance lessons these guys kept us busy in the best way, without being too overbearing. We bought excursions from the hotel liaison Previs and the prices were truly better than the ones you’d find on the beach - trust the team! The spa was worthwhile for the massages, hydrotherapy, mud, and private quiet pool use. Our breakfast buffet was great with custom omelettes and crepes and beachside grill was delicious for lunch. Of the a la cartes our favourites were Sumptori (a must do), Kusko, Bhogali, and Bamboo. Hemingway’s bar was a great spot to watch the hockey playoffs in the evening, and then dance the night away to local music. Beach access was easy; could always find a spot there, the water was warm, and the sand is soft without too much seaweed or rocks. We did not walk or rent a car off the resort. Come for a great vacation!

Really great quiet, relaxing resort. Staff and service was excellent! We were in the swim out suite building 57 and we really enjoyed it. Highly recommend the swim out suites. Special call outs for especially great service: Ramona at the Mexican restaurant. This lady should be teaching others what great service really is. Really well done. Steven the bar tender behind building 57 and close to building 52. He was one of the staff that went out of his way to provide a really excellent experience. Rosiris- housekeeper kept our room clean and stocked with coffee, always had a smile. When we had special requests she was happy to help. Yeandra- host in lobby friendly and great service. Edward- butler in building 57 was great making reservations and was always there to help. Francisco- he was at the desk in the lobby of building 57 very helpful and very friendly . Great guy! The staff is one of the reasons we liked this resort so much. Really no criticism except there was smoking everywhere. Smoking on the restaurant patios and around pools. Also vaping inside buildings which all appeared to be allowed. This was disgusting! Other than that there was sea weed on the beach but that’s not the resorts fault and they did everything they could to clean it up.

This was our 6th yearly stay at TRS. The grounds & the pools are excellently maintained. On the beach, there’s plenty of Palapa umbrellas & we've never had a problem getting one. There's been a Sargassum seaweed problem for at least our last 4 years. This is a problem throughout the Caribbean. TRS does it's best to clean the beach daily with a tractor pulling a Barber Beach Rake. All our stays have been in the March to June timeframe. From what I've read, the seaweed problem runs from March through October. There are many restaurants to choose from including those at the adjacent Palladium Resorts. We'd rate the restaurant with a range of fair to excellent. Every room has a Butler who has a block of rooms. We've had at ~ 3 different Butlers over the 6-year period. We met Randy, our Butler 3 years ago and he's by far the best one there. This year, I contacted Randy 2 weeks before our arrival & requested the same room that we had the previous year. Also, two days before our arrival, I requested to see if he could book us the Sumptuori (Hibachi) Restaurant for the 1st seating. When we arrived at TRS in the afternoon. he met us in the lobby and had reserved the room & restaurant we requested. On our 2nd day, we had problem with our showerhead water pressure & I texted Randy at 6:04 pm about the problem and when we got back from dinner @ 8:30 pm, I noticed that the shower head had been replaced. Looking forward to going back in 2026

Just came back from our last minute booked - 5 day, 4 night - getaway. This resort is about 40 - 45 minutes out from the airport. I recommend booking ground transportation as we had limited options since we booked last minute. Taxi is $70 flat rate but you can find Expedia options around $40. The resort was lovely. While we didn’t get the swim up room (sold out), we found the junior suite to be all we needed. We e had a second level facing the pool and could see partial ocean. It was a beautiful view. The jacuzzi is partially glass enclosed with the glass facing the balcony. You have two bed option on the balcony that each provide its own vibe. I loved the one closer to the ground in the corner. It was a nice little corner to snuggle up with your significant. As far as dining goes, there were plenty of options. We had some delicious meals and some ok ones. This can be the luck of the drawer with resorts but this was better than most. We only sampled some restaurants. We found the food trucks to provide tasty snacks as well. If I wasn’t fasting coffee and sweets for lent, I could tell you more about the cutest coffee shop with all types of coffee that I hope to dry in the future. They had plenty of pastries and cookies and even gelato. This is a laid back spot so if you’re looking to party at the pool, this isn’t the place. You can definitely have a good time but it’s more low key. We surprisingly had a good time the night we checked out the club. Good music and dancing.

It’s a beautiful hotel that has almost everything you need from an all-inclusive resort. They started us off with champagne when we arrived. In the evenings, they had shows, silent disco, karaoke, dancing. They also have a pool table and ping pong tables outside so you can play anytime as a group. They have a tennis court as well and have instructors. The rooms were nice and big. All the rooms had a balcony and a small private jacuzzi on the balcony. The bathroom was big but has no privacy so if you’re sharing a room as a non-couple, it can get pretty awkward. We also booked a room with 2 double beds because there were 3 people in the room. When we got there, the room only had a king size bed and they told us that the double bed was based on availability. The pools are 4ft deep so it’s easy to lounge. The pools were unclean- there was always bugs and other dirt inside The jacuzzis were disappointing as rarely were they actually hot.

We had an amazing time at the Excellence El Carmen! The beach was beautiful and pristine, the water was so clear and warm and the waves were fun but not to big. The staff at the resort were amazing, so friendly and helpful. The coffee was amazing at the Aroma coffee shop and the breakfast buffet. The selection of restaurants was good and they were all open plenty for us. The food presentation was great and the quality was good, some of the flavors and preparations were slightly off. The resort buildings were beautiful and well maintained. Our room was huge and clean with an amazing balcony, it looked like all the rooms have bathtubs with window sides and blinds (in addition to private separate rain showers) so you can bath with a view. The drinks were delicious and the bar tenders were so fun! The smoothies and juice were also a definite highlight. Can not recommend enough for anyone looking for a luxurious, relaxing all-inclusive experience right on a beautiful beach.

WARNING; do not visit this resort! Unless you want to be absolutely pampered and have the most relaxing week of your life! (Not even kidding 😅) My husband and I visited The Excellence El Carmen Feb 3rd-9th and it was beyond our wildest dreams. I actually used Trip Advisor before booking to compare different resorts I was looking at and after reading the reviews on here decided to book; I’m so glad we did! This resort is all of 5 stars and more! They have a stunning location, the staff were so friendly and kind, the beach was gorgeous, restaurants incredible, and our room was top notch. We decided to purchase a club room while visiting, so we had a private pool and sitting area, and had access to the magna restaurant and extra bars and pool areas, and it was well worth the little bit of extra money! From the moment we arrived everything was perfect!They have a private “club” check in in a wonderfully scented private lobby; had champagne for us when we pulled up; ushered us to the private bar for delicious and beautiful drinks, and then ushered us to our room. Every day around 4:30 or five someone stopped by our room to drop off fun and delicious petit fours. We loved the coffee shop and the fact that we could walk in at anytime and grab a coffee and a quick snack if we wanted to. (Thank you Iveliesse T and Claudy who regularly worked the coffee shop and made beautiful art in our lattes)

I came to celebrate my 11 year wedding anniversary and we found the experience to be romantic and intimate. This property was immaculately kept and the staff are warm, friendly, and accommodating. Johan at the bar in the rotunda is amazing and the food at the grill and magna is amazing! The buffet style dining needs some themes as some of the food options don’t match. However, do not let that stop you from going to this relaxing, very safe, and enjoyable. The excellence club liquor options for the suites should be better top shelf especially for the upgraded prices. I can’t wait to try other excellence resorts in other areas.

Pros - Beach was very nice, garden area and facility was clean and maintained. Cons - The safe in the room could be opened with the master com that was printed on the outside of the safe even when programed with custom combination, which meant anyone could open the safe, therefore non of your belongings that were put in the safe was secure from others accessing it. A few of the staff members that we interacted with was dishonest and rude.

I absolutely loved this resort. It was my first time in the Dominican Republic. My grandchildren picked the resort and it was an excellent choice. I would highly recommend this resort for anyone if you have children and if you don’t have children, the only thing I thought could be better is had more shops with more things in it like sweatshirts, more sizes but other than that, it was a perfect perfect 10 the staff concierge the hotel. I can’t say enough about this this place absolutely amazing. They kept the beach up. The life guides were totally on guard so you felt safe going in the water. I loved the people that sold the items on the beach, beautiful things the gentleman with the parrots my grandchildren got a kick out of those plenty of room to swim at the pool you weren’t bumping into one another and it was probably one of the busiest season in school vacation the room service the made service top-notch the most friendliest people I’ve ever seen and it’s hard to be turned on all that time every day whoever does the hiring should get a raise cause he chose or she chose the most incredible people and caring can’t say enough about this property, and I certainly will recommend to my friends and family Thank you Lesley Souza. Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: A Memorable Family Getaway. Our family vacation at the Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort was absolutely delightful. The resort offered an ideal blend of relaxation and vibrant activities, immersing us in an atmosphere designed for enjoyment from the moment we arrived. The resort shines with its impressive amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed the plethora of swimming pools, each with a unique vibe, from lively areas to tranquil spots. Direct access to the beautiful beach provided endless opportunities for swimming, sunbathing, and various water sports. Dining was a culinary adventure. The resort has a wide variety of restaurants and buffets, offering diverse and delicious food. We were consistently impressed by the quality, freshness, and abundance of choices, ensuring something to satisfy every palate. Every team member was incredibly polite, attentive, and hardworking, consistently going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Their promptness in answering questions and eagerness to help made a significant positive impact. The only minor point was an occasional language barrier, making communication a bit challenging at times. However, this was a very minor inconvenience, as the staff's dedication and positive attitude always shone through, and they invariably found a way to assist us. It was an excellent family vacation.

We go out to Punta Cana 1-2xs a year. This is our first time staying here. Resort was excellent. Plenty to do. Many dif restaurants. Food everywhere, even a food truck between the front reception and the water park. Beach was clean with nice sandy walk out and wave breaker, so safe for the kids. Staff was top tier! Super involved and bunch of dif daily activities including bunch for the kids. I can’t say enough about the staff across the whole facility as they were all great, but have to give an extra big shout out to Pedro at the Buffet who went above and beyond for everyone with great spirit and energy! Certainly left an impression. We will def be back!!

We had an awesome vacation. The kids loved it. The beach was perfect. The swimming pools and all the staff are very friendly. Our room was tidy and clean. We were very happy with it. Would recommend to anyone. Woodley helped us check out very, very friendly and efficient service

If traveling with the family 3 daugther, wife and myself rent room 19233, huge room. 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3 jacuzzi, and a huge living room. Buffette was ok, reservation at Japanese restaurant is a must and will enjoy the experience, was worth it, the same for the steakhouse. I didn't use the beach because the sargazo, I spent most of the time in the lazy river, very relaxing. Live DJ every night prepare to walk a lot, Hotel is big. It was a busy weekend, at Bar it took longer than expected to get the attention of the bartender to order a drink, super busy. 24 hrs room service available, very fast, only it should include more items to order.

This was our 3rd stay at the Royalton Hideaway and our 7th trip to the Dominican, and once again, it was fantastic! Check-in with Joel was smooth and welcoming. Huge shoutout to Robert, the wine sommelier, who went above and beyond to save our anniversary beach dinner when we had app issues—service like that is unforgettable. And of course, our favorite bartender Antonio at the Hideaway beach bar—always friendly, attentive, and serving with a smile! The resort was spotless with beautiful updated rooms and décor since our first visit in 2021. The beach was clean with plenty of seating and towels, and the Hideaway pool was the perfect retreat. We loved the variety of fitness activities—David and Juan’s yoga classes were a great way to start the day. Food was a little hit or miss, but breakfast was always great, the food truck was perfect for casual lunches, and we especially enjoyed Grazie (Italian) and our romantic beach dinner. Overall, another wonderful stay. We can’t wait to return this winter!

We had a fun and relaxing holiday. Hotel had plenty to do for adults and kids. Plenty of space around the pools and beach. Kids made lots of friends and spent most of the time playing water volleyball or at the water park. The seaweed didn’t cause us any issues - we just had to paddle out a short distance for snorkelling. We enjoyed spotting the iguanas on the walk between hotels. Our room was comfortable and spacious. Plenty on offer in terms of daytime and nighttime activities for adults and kids alike. We enjoyed the kayaking at the beach and at night chilling at the beachside bar. Staff were friendly and most understood English well. At the buffet the food variety was plentiful and the food tasty. Restaurant food at the Mexican and Steakhouse was fine, but we just felt let down by the quality of the food at the Italian. Only minor gripes would be the booking system for the restaurants - which saw booking restaurants at the time you wanted abit pot luck, and the beachside pool could have done with a better clean on a couple of days. In summary, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we felt the hotel offered a good all round standard for the price we paid for the holiday. We would be happy to go back again.

Overall we had a good experience at Royalton Punta Cana Resort. We had the Diamond Club package. The good: Clean, well kept resort, friendly staff, we had a great butler named Johnny who was very nice and helpful with whatever we needed and checked on us every day, walking distance to splash (small water park with about 7-8 slides), private beach access, swim up pool with fun activities every day, events just about every night, easily order drinks and lunch right from your beach chair - lunch was pretty good food. The not so good: seaweed on beach was terrible (no fault of resort or staff, just worth mentioning), endless vendors on beach trying to sell something (cigars, braids, excursions, pictures with birds, trinkets, etc.), food was average at best (buffet was the best option). Lots of dinner options, but again the food quality was not great. Overall…great service and friendly staff with fun atmosphere and events. Just don’t get too excited about the dining experience.

I stayed at this resort recently and had a really good time overall. The room was gorgeous, super clean, spacious, and felt very high-end. Everything was tidy and well-maintained. The food was delicious, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. I just wish there were more gluten-free options, since there wasn’t much to choose from if you have dietary restrictions. The gym was great too, very clean, modern, and well-equipped. The staff there were friendly and approachable. It’s one of the nicer resort gyms I’ve seen. The beach was stunning. The only thing that got a bit bpthering was the number of vendors constantly walking around trying to sell stuff. The entertainment needs improvement. Last Saturday, I went to one of the shows and the host, Mayra (her name was on her badge), didn’t seem confident or prepared, she struggled to keep the audience engaged and even had trouble running a simple bingo game in English. It felt a bit awkward, especially since she’s apparently the assistant manager. I think the entertainment team could use some better training or leadership. Also, check-in took forever, but once that was over, the rest of the stay was smooth. All in all, I’d give this resort 4 out of 5 stars. The place itself is beautiful, the food and staff are excellent, and the facilities are great.

Loved the Diamond Club, staff and service great. Wish I had gotten the swim up rooms, they seemed fun. Wouldn't recommend the honeymoon suite, Jacuzzi had to be filled by butler. Only used it once, also the balcony of the honeymoon suite overlooked the back of a restaurant and dumpster area. Restaurants were decent, although portions were very small in some cases. W

We have just spent pur honeymoon here and below are our thoughts; Pros Room was comfortable and the air con brilliant which was definitely needed in the heat and humidity. Staff were all really friendly and attentive especially at both the normal beach bar and hideaway beach bar- tipping goes along way here. Food at the Hunters Steakhouse, Zen and Dorado was delicious 😋 Buffet was the best I've experienced at an all inclusive hotel- great quality and variety. Loved the batista style coffee bar for latte, ice cream and cakes- lovely girls working here. The walk way between the main hotel and splash hotel has alot of wildlife living their best lives (iguanas, turtles, ducks, birds) loved walking through here each day to see all of the animals on their natural habitat. Cons Food at Jade and Grazie was not good at all- could have been a one off but grazie especially was not edible. Getting reservations at normal times was tough- either eating really early or super late but at least there was Dorado and the buffet as a back up. The seaweed is a massive issue if your a sea lover- this is not down to the hotel as they try their best but we only had 2 clear days in the water otherwise it was like swimming in brown soup- so if spending alot of time in the ocean is important to you- this probably won't suit you. All in all we had an amazing honeymoon hence the 5 stars. The cons in no way out did the good so I would definitely recommend this hotel and the upgrade to Hideaway

We had a fantastic time at the Hideway! The rooms were clean and all facilities were spotless and well maintained. We had many food options and enjoyed a variety of restaurants for dinners that we enjoyed. Our reservation time was always prompt and food was delivered quickly. There was a wide array of fruit and snacks always fresh and available. One of the highlights was our daily visit to the coffee shop for excellent iced coffees and gelato! The service was exemplary - definitely a 10 out of 10. Denis, our butler, met us on the first day, oriented us to the room and all facilities and then checked in with us each day. Never intrusive and always available, Denis helped with everything from booking dinners, to excursions, to hotel transport. Denis’ careful attention and hard work on our behalf really made our 30th anniversary trip special - we never had to worry about or manage a thing! Also, Jennifer our lobby day bar hostess, is an absolute gem. She greeted us every morning, knew our coffee order right away, and has a great energy snd smile. She made each start to the day “excellente”!! Another key factor to the success of the trip for me was safety. I saw many women travelling solo, and I also felt it is a resort that instills a sense of safety and comfort. We would definitely visit again!

This trip was absolutley amazing! My sister and I received the most amazing royal treatment from the moment we arrived. The resort was spectacular. Our room was beautiful and clean. We stayed in the diamond club room and loved every minute of the Hideaway section. The food was unbelievable, there was never a time that I didn't like what was served. The staff are so loving and welcoming. Even being back home in Canada and texting them to see how things are. From Jennifer at the hideaway coffee bar to Mary at the lobby bar, Lenny our butler and who can forget Yolanda and the hideaway pool activities section, along with Juan and Sandy pour our drinks. This was a trip that not only made memories for me and my sister but for the amazing staff that I can now call family. I promise I will be back. Much love from Canada!!!!

We had a very relaxing stay at hideaway the staff in the restaurants and all bars were amazing very attentive. Unfortunately the front desk staff were not very helpful. Our luggage was never delivered to our room so my husband had to go and bring it to us after 30 minutes of waiting and calls to the front desk were less than helpful as we were left on hold forever without any answers. Otherwise it was a very relaxing vacation after that incident!

Positives - Aqua Nick Water Area – Enjoyable and well-maintained. Good size and shallow, perfect for kids. - Character Breakfast – A fun experience (though charged separately) with different characters - Decent Dining Options– A reasonable number of restaurants. - Staff Helpfulness – Exceptional service, especially from chefs who accommodated our dietary needs well. - Resort Cleanliness – Maintained well in most areas. - Room Quality & Amenities – rooms were spacious, balcony was nice. Provided bottle sterilizer and warmer. Negatives - Additional Charges – Fees for things like character breakfast (almost $90/pp) , cotton candies, in-house video games, etc., feel excessive considering the high all-inclusive price. - Limited Vegetarian Options – not enough choices, although chefs will work with you on your dietary needs. - Limited Fruits – Not enough variety, especially for a tropical destination. - Closed Areas – Some resort sections were unavailable with no clear explanation or reopening timeline. - Dessert Variety– Could benefit from more options, like chocolate bars. - Some Night Show Performances – Certain dancers wore revealing outfits, which seemed out of place for a kids' place. Overall Impression The resort has enjoyable elements, particularly its water park and helpful staff. However, hidden costs, limited food options, and closed areas impact the experience. Overall resort experience does not strongly justify high prices.

Aside from the hotel losing our stroller at checkin somehow and not replacing it when we left our time spent was great. The place was clean and the offer golf cart rides to get around seeing as things can be spaced out. The breakfast buffet was mediocre at best and tough for picky eaters. Much at the waterpark was good and diners were the best. Wok wok and spacewalker were fantastic. Wok wok was all excellent and spacewalker get the short rib. You won’t be sorry. Plenty of booze all around. Plenty to keep a 5 yr old busy. Wished they had more for 1yr . They did have one splash pad that worked well for our 1 yr old. The large splash pad and lazy river were perfect for us and our 5yr old. Plenty of pools and can’t forget the beach and the views. Just ignore the pesky sales people at the beach. Regarding the missing stroller: it came out of the transportation vehicle and went missing somehow while we checked in. All my bags were still there. They gave us a stroller to use but wouldn’t let us leave with it when I asked to buy it. Even though it was basically unsafe and shouldn’t have been allowed to stay in service. The room had its share of minor issues but nothing crazy. Few leaky parts in the bathroom and the room not getting quite cold enough, although the temperature as was, was manageable; it was however inconsistent. The mini fridge kept cool but not cold. And the handle to the balcony was breaking and clearly reattached several times prior.

Amazing resort for kids. We celebrated our daughter 5th birthday and we all had an amazing time. Food is good. Drinks are good. The pools are nice. Breakfast with characters is a must. The workers in the beach bar by the pool were soooo nice to us. Thank you luis for your amazing service. Only thing is for reservations in the restaurants is a little annoying. Other than that we had an akazing vacation in this place. Thank you guys

This resort is a perfect 10 Before I left for this trip, I was a little concerned due to some of the reviews. Especially with the service levels & food quality. But that is so far from the truth. The service was incredible & everyone was extremely friendly. The regular buffet food is okay, but they have live cooking stations in the buffets with all sorts of meat and seafood. That’s what I ate everyday and it was amazing. There are a couple things that could be easily fixed here, such as adding more chairs/umbrellas to the beach & waterpark, but I never had an issue finding a spot in the shade. We ate at Space walker & it was very good! The steak was great, but make sure you ask for a double portion. & the sweetery is unbelievable! So good! The Karisma app was great, it let you know where various activities and character pop-ups would be. We met all the characters we wanted to. The resort is a perfect size, everything is in walking distance. Please don’t believe the negative reviews. If you have kids, this is the place you want to be!

Beautiful property with a lot of activities for young kids. Everything was clean. The pool and beach area was so convenient and very large. It never felt overcrowded. The water park was so much fun. Rooms were nice. We had a pool attached to the room and it was a great option. The staff was very accommodating and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. My son got sick (asthma) during our stay and guest services ordered medicine from a nearby pharmacy which helped my son tremendously. Overall service was great. My only complaint (and the only reason I gave this 4 stars) was the food. The ice cream shop was great. The restaurants that required reservations were all booked. We managed to get a reservation one night but the food wasn’t great. we mostly ate at the buffet, which wasn’t great either. Some nights better than others. The lunch options weren’t the best. Overall the food could use improvement, but everything else was great. We really enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave.

I liked the activities, the room, and the jacuzzi. The hotel has a relaxing concept: once you enter, you feel the smell of eucalypt. There is aromatherapy everywhere. My favorite restaurant was the one close to the beach. EXCELLENT FOOD. The asian food was okay. Breakfast was great!

The property is modern and beautifully landscaped. The layout was well planned allowing for strolling throughout. The staff were friendly ,kind and accommodating. The swim out pool including jacuzzi were delightful! Restaurants didn’t require reservations yet you are welcome to do so.

My recent stay at Live Aqua Punta Cana was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I arrived, the staff's genuine warmth and friendly smiles made me feel instantly welcome. Whether I craved a silent disco dance party or a fun, interactive dance class, Live Aqua had something for everyone. The entertainment staff was incredibly funny and always managed to keep the energy high. Food was another highlight of my trip. The variety and quality were impressive, from the delicious buffets to the fantastic à la carte restaurants. Special shout-out to Rose at the Mexican restaurant for her amazing service, and to Mariza, my housekeeper, for always keeping my room spotless. Even the little things made a big difference. A friendly smile from Julio at breakfast offering me a steaming cup of "Punta Cana coffee" was the perfect way to start each day. Live Aqua truly has it all: a stunning location, impeccable service, delicious food, and fantastic entertainment. If you're looking for a relaxing yet fun-filled getaway, look no further! We had a wonderful stay at the resort, The food was absolutely delicious with a wide variety of options, and the atmosphere was serene and beautifully kept. What truly made our experience exceptional was the outstanding staff. Joel and Benjamin, our beach servers, were incredibly friendly and attentive, always keeping our drinks refreshed. And a huge shoutout to my concierge, Evelyn Lopez, who went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Overall, the service was exceptional, and I highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a relaxing and stress-free getaway.

I had an excellent vacation at the resort, i highly recommended resort. Professional kind friendly and helpful staff,they serve you with love.the resort is very clean and exellent food with variety restaurants, everything on time. And thank to my heroes my superman butler Mr. Jose and the greatest receptionists at VIP lounge they push my statement to the next level with the best services. It was a great experience. Top rating was the customer service. Top areas of growth, the jacuzzi did not work well and items included such as rose petals and chocolate covered strawberries occurred days after checking in. I requested the breathless bag as I didn’t know that was complementary.

We had a great time at Breathless Punta Cana! The food was amazing: from the salad bar with seafood to the desserts with endless options. The buffet usually had most of the specialty restaurants' dishes available. So it was super convenient! We stood on the Xhale side, room 4148, it was very spacious, but somewhat bare. Low key felt like we were in a hospital. Never really used the "swim-out" pool, but the proximity to the beach was prime. Xhale came with a free beach bag and access to a top-shelf liqour lounge. The property is beautiful, but the grass was a bit dry here and there. Very clean, and the lit incense near pathways really creates a relaxing atmosphere. We had fun feeding the fush and the turtles in the ponds. The Rock and the Fire shows with outside-performers were amazing. However, the house e-team often looked tired and/or annoyed. Every time they did a Breathless dance before each show/game, the girls especially looked like they hated their job and didn't wanna be there. I'm not the one to tell anyone to smile, but in this case - it is literally in ur job description: u r the e-team, u r here for the guests' entertainment. Smile. The beach was amazing - we walked it for miles. The vendors will give u a better deal if u offer them Coca-cola and/or American candy. Negative: our floaties left by the pool were stolen. We were late to pick them up one day, & they went missing. Our concierge Kelly was unable to track them down. Still 10/10 vacation, would recommend.

Wonderful all inclusive! Felt very safe, there are staff cleaning constantly, and the food in all of the restaurants is absolutely delicious! Booking through Expedia gives you your own concierge, we had Ramone who was an absolute delight. He checked in with us every day to make sure we were enjoying our stay and offered assistance with whatever we needed. He even arranged for a happy birthday banner and sent a mini birthday cake for my friend who was celebrating! All of the staff are friendly and welcoming - but Adrian in the restaurant was extra fun and engaging, and Yohan at the beach bar makes the most delicious drinks and is always singing and smiling. The beach was gorgeous, the pools were clean, the grounds were beautiful, the spa was relaxing, and the vibe was perfection. Will definitely return one day!

This is a Hyatt all-inclusive north of Punta Cana Our first visit and it was wonderful. Contemporary beach deco, there are ample pool chairs and beaches were best we have had in the Caribbean (we travel extensively St Lucia, Jamaica, Grenada and Curaçao to name a few). Service was quite good and language barrier is not an issue (if you were so concerned) We had a partial ocean view room and it was great I guess our room level qualified us for “XHale club” which had a lounge and our own pool if desired for use. The xhale club level also got us into breakfast at oceanview restaurant which was great. Plenty of water sports and many daily activities There are numerous pools — the main pool is closest to the beach. It is active, can be loud, sometimes too much IMO but overall is great. Towels are plentiful early but by mid-afternoon can run low You do not have to get up early to reserve a spot but if you want shade on beach would suggest by 8 or 9 at latest. You can rent beds or 2 level gazebo for the day. Highly recommend. There is another pool in center of resort with waterfall and bar. It is not for the faint of heart. There is bottle service and very loud music/DJ and activities and if your room is up near the lobby you will not be able to avoid it until it stops at 6pm, just FYI. Plenty of restaurants of different tastes. We enjoyed the buffet restaurant on numerous occasions. There is a nice candlelight beach dinner you can purchase.

The resort is beautiful. Lush tropical grounds, sparkling pools, and a vibrant, upbeat atmosphere that made every day feel like a celebration. The staff were friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and pampered. A special shoutout to Emilio, our concierge, who was amazing! I had a small issue with the room floor, and he handled it promptly and professionally, making sure everything was perfect afterward. Our room was modern and comfortable, the food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the entertainment was nonstop fun—especially the themed parties that kept the energy high. The beach at Breathless Punta Cana is absolutely beautiful—soft sand, clear water, and a peaceful vibe. There were always plenty of lounge chairs available, so we never had to worry about finding a spot to unwind. It was the perfect place to soak up the sun and enjoy the view!

This place exceeded so many expectations! After seeing some pretty harsh, and negative reviews I really was worried it wasn't going to be as it was cracked up to be. I was definitely NOT disappointed! The rooms were cleaned to a fantastic standard every day, the maids were so lovely and kind, nothing was too much trouble whatsoever. The mini fridge bar was stocked daily and you could still request things on the app! We didn't get great WiFi in the room but I am not that fussed about sitting on the Internet all day, when I am here to relax and spend time with family! The food was fabulous and so much choice. The buffet was plentiful, hot and always seemed fresh. They had children's stations and catered for people that may be a little fussy with eating. We tried two of the restaurants outside of the buffet; the Circus steakhouse which was okay, but the Italian (Il Paradiso) was divine! The tuna steak is a must! Again the waiting staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. You could always get sunbeds and they were kind enough to change if it rained (which we was lucky only happened one day of our 7) The entertainment was decent and loads of relaxing places to sit and enjoy a drink. All staff across the board were helpful and kind (special shout out to Genesis in the main buffet, she was such a gem, with such smile and grace in everything she did) I would absoluteky return as I enjoyed every moment!
