BOOK IT!! Perfect location. Couldn't be happier. Modern, nice amenities, professional and super nice staff. Prosecco and cold washcloth on arrival. 24hr desk, pool, spa, restaurant. Not too big/impersonal and not too small. Beautiful renovation. Given age of the building there may be a layout quirk or two. There is a water station on every floor so you can refill bottles. Booked transport to/from airport thru the hotel and couldn't be happier (we usually do ourselves). For those travelling from the US, we highly recommend this lovely modern European 4-4.5 star hotel. No dedicated concierge but front desk will happily help, couple of stairs on entrance but a glass lift should you need. Our room for 6 nights was fantastic! (terrace sea view jacuzzi) but quite dark; could use brighter lights. Outlets and USB ports appreciated, note there are none in bathroom. The restaurant on the roof is next to the pool. Great view and ambiance but sorry to say food at dinner was underwhleming. Overall, a gem in a very interesting country. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so welcoming.

Fortunately a friend recommended The Embassy for our 5 night stay in September. The Embassy has a fabulous location in the centre of Valletta. You are steps away from wonderful restaurants, historic bars and the amazing St John's Co-Cathedral. Rooms are spacious and well appointed and spotlessly clean. Loved the roof top bar and pool. A very good breakfast is served here and also lunch and dinner. The hotel staff are to be commended, Alekzander recommended and booked excellent restaurants for us and ensured our stay was perfect. Arvind remembered our coffee orders after our first morning's breakfast and was very efficient in organising breakfast seating and taking bookings for dinner etc. We appreciated Sharman's wine knowledge and enjoyed the wines he recommended. All the staff were friendly and work together to make your stay at the hotel memorable. Highly recommend.

We came here for our holiday in Valetta for the week and really enjoyed our stay. All of the staff were friendly, welcoming and always greeted you with a smile. Particularly, Gladson, who worked the evening shifts in the rooftopbar and restaurant - what a gentleman! So friendly, kind, chatted with us and made us feel welcome and delivered excellent professional service, a credit to the hotel. I also must mention Arvind, who was also very professional, kind and would know my coffee order the moment I appeared in the door for breakfast. We felt very well looked after and if we asked for anything, the staff would ensure they saw to it immediately. I would return for the hospitality of the staff alone! The hotel and room were very clean, spacious and also very comfortable. We enjoyed beautiful views over Valetta from the rooftop and enjoyed the delicious food for dinner and the drinks. I would come back!

Just got back from this beautiful hotel right in the heart of Valletta. Had a wonderful week for a special birthday!! So much to say, the hotel was amazing, so clean and fresh. Was welcomed with a glass of prosecco which was a very nice touch. The room was perfection with a little balcony. Housekeeping kept our room spotlessly clean and felt rather spoilt having our beds made fresh everyday. On to the facilities, wow, the roof top area with the lovely bar & pool was absolutely stunning, the views were 360 with a sunset every single night, was magical to be fair. The food was outstanding for both lunch & dinner. We also had a massage in the spa facilities which was wonderful, especially after all the walking we had been doing. Overall, the hotel was fabulous, would return in a heartbeat. The one main thing I want to say is that the staff, reception and rooftop are the making of this hotel, so welcoming, nothing too much trouble and so kind an helpful. Will definitely return at some point, had an amazing stay. Thank you all for making our visit so perfect x.

BOOK IT!! Perfect location. Couldn't be happier. Modern, nice amenities, professional and super nice staff. Prosecco and cold washcloth on arrival. 24hr desk, pool, spa, restaurant. I discovered this property on Booking.com and chose it out of several based on having a balcony facing the sea and jacuzzi.

The rooms are appointed absolutely beautifully, we were lucky to enjoy a room with a jacuzzi terrace and ocean view. On top of being very quiet, they are immaculately clean. The atmosphere of the hotel is very elegant and tasteful. The location is really perfect, just less than 5 minutes walking to some of the main attractions. Especially I wish to thank Leila for making our stay so special.

Bonus was a balcony with a Jacuzzi hot tub on it which was lovely after a long day walking. The staff were very helpful. The location was perfect and easy to find even in the old town with lots of narrow streets. The breakfast was great even if the breakfast area was tight and needed a bit of manoevring to navigate from the different food offerings. The weather was not warm enough to try out the rooftop pool and leisure area, which would be great in good weather.

Hotel is stylish and classy decor. Excellent renovation and this hotel is a little gem ! The reception staff were friendly and hospitality. We are allocated Room 44 and the first impression was Wow! The room was so spacious with a terrace and hottub. The bed was so comfortable we had great night sleep. The pool area is allocated on the rooftop good size pool for the six of the area and plenty of sun loungers. Breakfast was also excellent we were greeted again by friendly staff and the food quality was a good standard. We had a late flight and our luggage was stored without an issue. We will definitely be back 🌟

Beautiful hotel we had the Jacuzzi room it was perfect room / hotel for us. In central Valetta but away from any late noise.

Palazzo Ignazio is located right in the middle of the city center of Valetta. Nevertheless we didn't hear any of the citynoses in the hotel. The harbour viev suite offers the most incredible view on the sea, the city and the harbour, even out of the jacuzzi.

The views from the penthouse were great. Loved the jacuzzi.

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Brilliant location for Valletta city centre and the ferry over to the 3 cities. Room was very good with a lovely terrace and the jacuzzi was much appreciated after a hot day sightseeing. Beautiful roof top terrace with stunning views over Grand Harbour. Lovely breakfast with option to have it in the room, on the rooftop terrace or in the breakfast room. Staff very friendly and helpful

Trabuxu Living exceeded all our expectations and more! This apartment has been an amazing and delightful stay. The location is perfection - centrally located and just a stones throw from the hub. We had access to all amenities but retained a quiet area which is a difficult task to nail! The apartment itself has it all, it is well equipped, aesthetically beautiful and has all the comforts you’d expect but much more. Tasteful, elegant, and practical. Hygiene level 10/10. The host, Chris is the most helpful host I have ever had the pleasure of coming across. From the moment we booked the apartment, we were sent all local news including weather, amenities, recommendations and communication was always super speedy. I had an unfortunate incident of losing my wallet and Chris was immediately at hand to help, chasing this up with the police station and helping me to locate my wallet! I cannot rate Chris enough for his help and stellar hosting. I would recommend Trabuxu Living to anyone visiting Valletta. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Chris for a wonderful experience and stay.

Building work ongoing and building waste and material outside on street apt was very nice and clean bed was good .just needed maybe milk and bread for late arrival. Otherwise spot on

amazing, helpful, very kind, just the most wonderful staff!! the receptionist was just so sweet and the man I have booked with was very helpful and was even so kind to show us what the room we booked included and how to use things in the room such as the ac and most importantly the jacuzzi that was super clean and sooo relaxing. The complimentary breakfast had such a vast, delicious variety and the beautiful bar had such an amazing bartender that made me a cocktail I'm still dreaming of haha. Also not to mention the rooms are so beautiful I was amazed as it was exceeding my expectations.. anyways this hotel is 1000000% recommended for a nice get-away with your partner. Will visit again..

We wanted to stay at a boutique hotel while in Valletta and also wanted to be quite central. The Capital Hotel was spot on. We opted for the balcony room and were not disappointed. Beautifully set up with chairs in the window looking out over the city and down to the sea. The room was spacious and modern and the bathroom had a great shower..it was very comfortable and we were delighted to stay 3 nights. We would have been happy to stay longer! The team were so helpful and friendly and the whole hotel was spotless. Breakfast was a range of deliciously fresh food. I would recommend you look no further as you will be very well looked after and extremely comfortable.

We have just enjoyed a wonderful week in this hotel in Valletta. Our journey there was made that bit easier when the hotel arranged a taxi to pick us up at the airport . Our room was lovely (403) with a terrace and hot tub. Although the hotel is conveniently located in the town and near to a number of good restaurants the terrace and room were always peaceful and quiet, the only noise was church bells which was lovely! The breakfast was good and the service always prompt and friendly. Every afternoon there was delicious cake available at reception. At the end of the day there was a happy hour on the roof top terrace which had amazing views. I would happily return!!

We wanted to stay at a boutique hotel while in Valletta and also wanted to be quite central. The Capital Hotel was spot on. We opted for the balcony room and were not disappointed. Beautifully set up with chairs in the window looking out over the city and down to the sea. The room was spacious and modern and the bathroom had a great shower..it was very comfortable and we were delighted to stay 3 nights. We would have been happy to stay longer! The team were so helpful and friendly and the whole hotel was spotless. Breakfast was a range of deliciously fresh food. I would recommend you look no further as you will be very well looked after and extremely comfortable.

We have just enjoyed a wonderful week in this hotel in Valletta. Our journey there was made that bit easier when the hotel arranged a taxi to pick us up at the airport . Our room was lovely (403) with a terrace and hot tub. Although the hotel is conveniently located in the town and near to a number of good restaurants the terrace and room were always peaceful and quiet, the only noise was church bells which was lovely! The breakfast was good and the service always prompt and friendly. Every afternoon there was delicious cake available at reception. At the end of the day there was a happy hour on the roof top terrace which had amazing views. I would happily return!!

A historic building with a modern interiot. The beds are very comfortable. The room verymodern and clean and bathroom with very good shower. Veronica and all the staff very courteous and helpful. The breakfast is good quality and there is a wide choice. We especially liked the mushrooms with a touch of Rosemary and the bacon, the selection of fresh fruit and the savoury and sweet pastries. The rooftop swimming pool is smallish but big enough to get in 6 to 10 strokes and the pool area and sun loungers are very good. The location is ideal as it is in a very quiet alleyway in central Valetta but only 5 minutes walk from a huge range of bars and restaurants.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, out room was very nice, clean and roomy with great design details. the terrace was great with morning sun and nice and quiet view. The rooftop was nice for some chill and with a pool to dip your toes in. We really felt well taken care of in this hotel. We had the room on the top floor just below the rooftop pool, and it was super quiet and with big balcony door for a great airing possibility (I read that some rooms smelled, but this one was perfect!). The AC was quiet, the bed was super comfy.

The housekeeping was very good the room looked spotless when we came back it is a beautiful building sympathetically restored to become a hotel would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Valletta in Malta it was a very reasonable price great value for money. The roof top pool and sun loungers were brilliant the area was spotlessly clean including the toilet and the shower near the pool. The roof top pool bar was lovely the drinks and snacks there were very reasonably priced too. Would definitely go back to this hotel.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel in Valetta. The location was perfect, right in the center of Valetta and walking distance to everything. We had the rooftop room with the Jacuzzi and Terrace and it was amazing. There were chairs and a sun lounger. The room was clean and modern and the AC worked perfectly. Plenty of coffee and water and some snacks. Large shower and plenty of light in the bathroom. As a woman I would like to mention that it was a little troublesome to use hairdryer as there was no outlet in the bathroom and no outlet close enough to the full length mirror. I requested an extension cord but never received one so they probably didn't have. This might have only been the layout of our specific room, so if the use of hairdryer is important to you I'd maybe ask ahead of time :) The staff was lovely, especially Olga, who was helpful, friendly and always had a smile. We would definitely stay in this hotel again! Thank you to The Barrister for a perfect stay in Valetta.

Great location, everything within easy walking distance. Room (with Maltese balcony) was compact but workable. The walk- in shower was exceptional. Another room for our group (deluxe double) was larger, including a huge bathroom with a beautiful soaking tub /shower combo that was a little difficult to manage - so take this into consideration when choosing your room. Many nice touches- an array of amenities, earplugs (we didn’t need), bottled water and the minibar stocked (and replenished on request) with soft drinks. The staff was attentive and very helpful. Breakfast was very nice, the breakfast room staff does an exceptional job of keeping the buffet stocked and looking fresh, and keeping the tables clean. Mark, the owner / manager, was present every morning, and was very helpful with suggestions and insights. We loved our stay here, it would be my top choice for a return trip to Valletta.

The Barrister is an excellent little hotel. The room was very well appointed with a full fridge of soft drinks for the first evening of our stay. The bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom had an excellent shower. The enclosed balcony in the room, which mirrored the local architecture was a lovely addition to the overall satisfaction of the stay. Breakfast was continental fare, with more than enough choice of cereals, cold meats and fresh fruit. The front desk and serving staff were very friendly and attentive, and having the opportunity to speak with the owner at breakfast each morning was much appreciated. The location of the hotel is very central to the Old Town attractions of Valetta as everything is within walking distance (If you like hills!🤣) Lovely short break, highly recommended.

We stayed for 4 nights for my 40th birthday in the top floor suite with terrace and hot tub, and it was unforgettable! The hotel itself was on a quiet side street but just round the corner from the main road and the city gate so the location couldn't have been better. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the hotel itself lovely and cosy and super clean. Our room was spotless, very bright, and decorated in lovely colours. There was a balcony on one side of the room with excellent views, and the large terrace was on the other side overlooking the city and the harbour. The bed was huge and very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and a quilt if needed. The air con was marvellous and was needed in March. There was plenty of wardrobe space with a lot of hangers, a settee, table and chairs, mini bar, coffee machine, safe and hairdryer. Bottled water was left daily. The bathroom was large with a good size shower and plenty of towels. The hot tub was awesome and using it at night under the stars with the view of the city was breathtaking. The breakfast area although nice, was at reception so not a dedicated room, and one morning it was quite busy and cramped. The breakfast choice was not huge but what they had was tasty; especially the scrambled eggs which were delicious! Overall, we will definitely be back to this hotel when next in Valletta, which will hopefully be soon!

This boutique hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Valletta on foot. It is central so easy access to restaurants, sights and bus station. Not suitable if you are driving with no access due to pedestrianised location but benefits with quietness because of this. Staff were wonderful and helpful even arranging an early breakfast. Spacious clean room with a comfortable bed and and plenty of power and charging points. Good sized modern bathroom. Tea, coffee and bottled water replenished daily.

The suite also has exclusive access to a huge outdoor area overlooking Valletta and Sliema and featuring a large hot tub. The weather was too cold during our visit to make use of the rest of the rooftop, but the hot tub was perfect even in winter. There was also a small balcony with partially obstructed views in the opposite direction overlooking St John's Co-Cathedral, which is right behind the hotel. Some of the fixtures (e.g. taps, bathroom hooks, tiles) were damaged or broken and needed some upkeep, but this didn’t impact on our stay. The buffet breakfast was very tasty and the staff very friendly. The location was perfect, but Valletta is a tiny city and anywhere within the city walls would be equally perfect.

The lady on reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I arrived around noon. She told me my room was ready. So welcome after a very early flight. The location is fabulous. I wasn't disturbed by noise although it is right in the centre of Valletta. It's real luxury. Bathroom modern, spotless and so classy. Bed very comfortable. Free WiFi and breakfast was great and included in my room rate. Absolutely loved it here and would definitely return.

We booked the Diamond Suite which was a penthouse room with a private jacuzzi and sun loungers. All the staff were wonderful and worked extremely hard, especially Marina, thank you for making our stay special. The location was excellent, it was right in the heart of the city and walkable to most places of interest & the harbour too.

The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the old town, within walking distance of major attractions, shops, and restaurants. If you want to explore Valletta’s rich history and vibrant atmosphere, this hotel is a perfect base. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable. A special mention to Jane and Marina, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their warm hospitality truly made a difference. The location is perfect! It’s in the heart of Valletta. Very easy to access any tourist destinations. A lot of lovely restaurants around. The hotel is in the city centre. Cooked foods is freshly cooked as you enter the breakfast room. You will be greeted with such welcoming staff of the hotel. Always smiling people. The hotel is always clean and smells nice. Very secured hotel. Room is perfect for my whole family. Comfortable big bed and even the sofa bed. Bathroom is really good size. The room is always being clean. We have been looked after very well. There was a personal touch as well when they put a balloons and happy birthday on our bed! That is for me an absolutely 5 star! They have all you need to have a memorable and relaxing holiday. Excellent location in the main residential walking area within Valletta. Plenty of restaurants, stores and things to do around the hotel. The room was large, spacious and comfortable. Appreciated getting 2 bottles of water each day. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and offered good variety. I liked that I could change my choice each day as I was there for 4 nights. Really helpful with keeping my luggage for me after checkout as I had an evening flight. Would recommend!

In the city centre, just walking distance in other tourist spots. Staff agreed for early check in which was very helpful given that we have a baby. Has sauna and jacuzzi but did not have time to use it.

The location is perfect, right in the center of Valletta, but in a calm quiet street. The appartment (penthouse) is very nice, just like on the pictures on booking. The host is very kind. We used the jacuzzi (kids-teenagers did); very cool, we didn’t use sauna, because we didn’t have enough time, we had so much fun on the island and in the city of Valleta and we tired at the evening. Beds are nice to sleep.

+ The hotel management was very helpful and the communication was smooth on WhatsApp + Even if the checkin was at 3 PM, we were able to let our luggage in a designated area up until then + The apartments is in the heart of Valetta, a walking distance from the main attractions as well as the bus station + The apartment was clean and tidy, the hotel staff was very helpful upon requesting a new set of clean towels + Fully equipped kitchen, perfect to prepare a nice breakfast + Nice and intimate rooftop terrace with a spectacular view over Valetta

The apartment is at the heart of the city centre. It's really spacious, with a kitchen (where you can make some coffee/meals). The balcony we thought it had is a "closed balcony" typical of the maltese architecture, so no smoking on the balcony, but there is a terrace on the top floor with a couple of tables and a great view. We were able to store our luggage until our flight in the afternoon, the host was very polite and helpful, the communication with the host was really good as well.

The location is perfect, right in the center of Valletta, but in a calm quiet street. The appartment (penthouse) is very nice, just like on the pictures on booking. The host is very kind. We used the jacuzzi (kids-teenagers did); very cool, we didn’t use sauna, because we didn’t have enough time, we had so much fun on the island and in the city of Valleta and we tired at the evening. Beds are nice to sleep.

+ The hotel management was very helpful and the communication was smooth on WhatsApp + Even if the checkin was at 3 PM, we were able to let our luggage in a designated area up until then + The apartments is in the heart of Valetta, a walking distance from the main attractions as well as the bus station + The apartment was clean and tidy, the hotel staff was very helpful upon requesting a new set of clean towels + Fully equipped kitchen, perfect to prepare a nice breakfast + Nice and intimate rooftop terrace with a spectacular view over Valetta

The apartment is at the heart of the city centre. It's really spacious, with a kitchen (where you can make some coffee/meals). The balcony we thought it had is a "closed balcony" typical of the maltese architecture, so no smoking on the balcony, but there is a terrace on the top floor with a couple of tables and a great view. We were able to store our luggage until our flight in the afternoon, the host was very polite and helpful, the communication with the host was really good as well.

We booked the Diamond Suite which was a penthouse room with a private jacuzzi and sun loungers. All the staff were wonderful and worked extremely hard, especially Marina, thank you for making our stay special. The location was excellent, it was right in the heart of the city and walkable to most places of interest & the harbour too.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in Valletta, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the old town, within walking distance of major attractions, shops, and restaurants. If you want to explore Valletta’s rich history and vibrant atmosphere, this hotel is a perfect base. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable. A special mention to Jane and Marina, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their warm hospitality truly made a difference. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully designed with high ceilings, creating a comfortable and airy feel. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was another highlight. The hotel offers a set menu with delicious options, freshly prepared and a great way to start the day. The location is perfect! It’s in the heart of Valletta. Very easy to access any tourist destinations. A lot of lovely restaurants around. The hotel is in the city centre. Cooked foods is freshly cooked as you enter the breakfast room. You will be greeted with such welcoming staff of the hotel. Always smiling people. The hotel is always clean and smells nice. Very secured hotel. Room is perfect for my whole family. Comfortable big bed and even the sofa bed. Bathroom is really good size. The room is always being clean. We have been looked after very well. There was a personal touch as well when they put a balloons and happy birthday on our bed! That is for me an absolutely 5 star! They have all you need to have a memorable and relaxing holiday. Excellent location in the main residential walking area within Valletta. Plenty of restaurants, stores and things to do around the hotel. The room was large, spacious and comfortable. Appreciated getting 2 bottles of water each day. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and offered good variety. I liked that I could change my choice each day as I was there for 4 nights. Really helpful with keeping my luggage for me after checkout as I had an evening flight. Would recommend!

If I could rate it higher, I would. The place is excellent, the staff really do whatever they can to make the stay pleasant and are super helpful. The breakfast is amazing and the suite with the jacuzzi is insane.

A luxurious experience blending tradition with slick contemporary lines at its finest. The facilities were excellent and the rooms clearly had a lot of thought put in when the owners renovated the property. Our room had a fabulous terrace with jacuzzi overlooking the basilica, which was wonderful to enjoy a continental breakfast and coffee. Central location close to everything in Valletta. Best of all were the staff - attentive, genuine and very patient - who really made us feel welcome and looked after, they are the main reason I would recommend a stay at Casa Ellul!

The room was fantastic with great views over the city and across the harbour towards Silema. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much of a bother for them. The restaurant was outstanding and managed to fit us in the evening we arrived despite us not booking. Suite 7 has a rooftop hottub, which is a fantastic way to spend a little time in the evening with a glass or 2 of wine.

The room was a good size, with air conditioning and a nice sized private bathroom including heated towel rail. We had wardrobe space, space on the floor for a suitcase and still enough room to walk around, a chair and large desk area for getting ready / putting things. There was a kettle with tea and coffee, nespresso machine, phone, towels, safe, fridge, slippers, dressing gowns, toiletries in the bathroom, spare toilet paper and free bottled water in the room. We asked for a hairdryer at reception and they were able to provide one. Bed was comfortable and despite being off the main streets and above a restaurant it wasn't noisy at all. On the 4th floor, we accessed the room from a small balcony / walkway and had a door with window allowing light and fresh air. Felt secure and safe. There is a small lift inside which was ideal as we were on the 4th floor. Staff were friendly and helpful when checking in. Breakfast was good, a buffet with the option of some cooked dishes - this is offsite, about 5 - 7 minute walk away from the hotel. I would recommend to friends, good value for money and perfect location for eating out or walking around Valletta. Only 10 minutes from Valletta Bus Terminal, and the Fast Ferry to Gozo.

We stayed for three nights in Valetta and I must say the hotel was way better than what we expected. The location is ideal and the staff is very kind and friendly. The rooms were clean, the housekeepers would come every day to bring fresh towels if needed, put new coffee capsules and clean cups. Also, big plus was the breakfast which was served at a nearby restaurant and you could fill you plate from the buffet as many times as you wished and additionally you could order more from the a la carte menu, such as eggs on toast, eggs Benedict etc. Higly recommended!

Plus a short walk to Valletta’s city centre, with bars, restaurants, cathedrals and palaces to explore. Staff: wonderful, wonderful people. Not just efficient and fast, but genuinely friendly and interesting. Food: the best Michelin star meal I have experience. But they also do a fabulous breakfast, and delicious room service menu. Comfort: our room, wow! Stunning views across the harbour, extremely comfortable and well thought out, with exceptional facilities. Cleanliness: the hotel is immaculate and smells wonderful! Value for money: worth every penny.

We could not fault this hotel. We had a room overlooking the harbour towards Fort St Angelo, and this was the view at breakfast too. The best view ever. The staff were amazing. Very receptive and efficient and accommodating on any minor requests we had. The gym was really handy and the spa was very relaxing and sumptuous. We did not take advantage of the restaurant but the breakfasts were amazing. The room staff came in twice a day and kept our room clean and left little treats.

Super cozy hotel with huge rooms! From the outside it looks small and petite but the rooms are the same size as a apartment. The bed are very comfortable and a well equipped kitchen. Small balcony on a quiet street. The smell inside the hotel is amazing. Small rooftop terrace that has a nice view and jacuzzi (not open atm). Nice and small breakfast served in the room. Only thing missing was coffee. Easy access with codes to main door and room. One of the best hotel experiences we had in Malta!

Staff were absolutely lovely, couldn’t have been more accommodating or welcoming. Location is perfect for a city break, loads of bars & restaurants on your doorstep. Jacuzzi on the stunning roof terrace also great! I would note there is a church next door and it seems they have tours & let people ring the bells pretty frequently ! We’d stay here again and will be recommending.

As an ultimate traveler with a finished University of Tourisam and Hotelmenagment , and experienced travel blogger I must say 3things Hotel is at the perfect location It is quiet and luxurious with a small rooftop and jacuzzi on top of it. Hotel is very clean and comfort and it's perfect for couples. Room comes with a free bottle of Vine and and snacks and minibar/ you must pay for minibar. I was planing to give worst possible rate at because I couldn't enter the room first night. Than Patrizia menager of the hotel came and the only reasson I give maximum rate is just because of her. Her understands that I couldn't enter and did everything in her powers to help me. At the end she modify my booking and I got a second day at hotel. As a menager I must say that woman is born for management and she needs a rise in salary. Without her I would be charged for a day in hotel I couldn't enter and that would be ridiculous. Everything else was perfect. I would recomand this hotel to anyone and I rate it as high as possible for this country. It's really luxurious with quiet environment in a center of city center, and that is really hard to find nowadays.

Fabulous location within the city. Exterior - Authentic Interior - Beautifully decorated with a calm ambience. We stayed in the penthouse suite which came with its very own jacuzzi. The views were amazing looking over the harbour!

Battery House is beautiful with maltese balconies in some of the rooms. We booked three rooms in total. My daughters stayed in the standard rooms which were spacious and comfortable. My husband and I stayed in Room 6 that had a terrace and jacuzzi with amazing views. The location was excellent and we were able to walk everywhere within Valletta. Cinoleta (apologies if the spelling is incorrect) was our house-keeper and she couldn't do enough for us. I was celebrating my 60th birthday and on arrival there was a bottle of red wine and our bed had been decorated with petals and beautifully folded towels that were swan shaped. As we were staying for 5 nights, she made the effort to know who was staying in each room and gave us a very personal service. She is a real asset to your business. A fantastic stay and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Battery House.

The location was perfect. Central to the city with restaurants and bar on the door step. The hotel is very modern (new and opened Sep 2024) with access to the front door via a keypad code. Once you have used the easy sef check-in system the computer produces your door key. This door key will access your room but also allow access through the main hotel doors instead of using a code. If we had any additional needs and needed help, you are provided a phone number, we found it supper easy to message using Whats app any questions or additional needs we had. They responded within minutes. We had the best room in the Hotel - being the one on the top floor with the Sun Terrace and Private Hot Tub! This room was incredible. After a long day of exploring, to come back and relax in the hot hub as the sun was setting was awesome. Breakfast was included in the stay and the breakfast offer was brilliant. Lots to choose from from fresh pastrys, fruit and breads with cheese and hams. You could also request eggs to be cooked to order, how ever you like them.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is unbeatable – right in the heart of Malta, making it the perfect base to explore the island. The central bus station is just a 5-minute walk down the main pedestrian street, offering easy access to all the major sites. Plus, the area is buzzing with a fantastic selection of restaurants and bars just steps away. The room was nice and spacious, and the beds were really comfortable, making it easy to relax and get a good night's sleep. The hotel was easy to find, and although the self check in machine wasn't working, a member of staff came to assist within a few minutes of us ringing for help. Our room was spotless, and the facilities were 12 out of 10. Although the street outside was very busy with cafes and bars as soon as we shut the door it was silent. There's a great variety of food to choose from at the buffet breakfast and the lovely waitress was on hand all the time to cook individual orders of eggs,bacon, sausage etc. The location is perfect- short walk to Valletta bus station where you can get hop on hop off buses all round the island. We caught the bus to the airport for our flight home - 25 minute trip at a cost of 3 euro each. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a short city break.

It was really nice, and we enjoyed the jacuzzi.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Location: The property is in walking distance of all major sights to see, but super peaceful and quiet whilst being central. Room: The rooms are equipped with everything you need, we loved the little touches of complimentary Maltese snacks and drinks. The WiFi is brilliant and works great! Netflix on the tv and other streaming apps. Bathroom: Equipped with shower gel, hand soap and shampoo. 2x bath towels and 2x hand towels included and bath mat. Water pressure and temperature is great! Communal areas: There is a kitchen downstairs with a communal area to sit and eat if you wish. Also, some work stations. Very clean and tidy always. Final thoughts: I would stay here again, there is no feeling of dread if housekeeping will burst through the door because you forgot to put the do not disturb sign up! It’s super safe as your door has a unique number code so no need to carry key card or fob. It’s so relaxed and peaceful and other guests are very respectful. There is signage across the property with handy tips and useful information which we loved. People managing the property are attentive and helpful!

The location was great, very handy for the ferry across to the shops, and for access to all the tourist sites in Valletta. 1 minute's walk away was a great view of the harbour. The mattress was very comfortable and it was useful to have the kitchen and free coffee from the espresso machine. The member of staff I saw all the time was Abbi who was really helpful and friendly and was able to answer questions about the facilities and the local area. I also regularly used Gourmet Kafe, 103 Old Theatre Street as they were really friendly and the food was great!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this Mandera’s Boutique Suites and Dorms! The welcoming was exquisite, and the ambiance too. The excellent services provided by the staff were truly remarkable, making me feel valued and well taken care of throughout my stay. The friendliness of the staff members added a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. Moreover, I was truly impressed by the level of cleanliness and elegance that this establishment maintained. Every corner of this place was impeccably clean, and the elegant decor added a touch of a twist of history, contemporary and modern to the entire experience. The overall atmosphere of the place was nothing short of magnificent, making it a destination I will definitely return to again and again. I can't wait to recommend this place to my friends and family. The combination of the welcoming , excellent services, friendly staff, cleanliness, and overall elegance make it a top-notch choice for anyone seeking a remarkable getaway. Water pressure and temperature is great! Communal areas: There is a kitchen downstairs with a communal area to sit and eat if you wish. Also, some work stations. Very clean and tidy always. Final thoughts: I would stay here again, there is no feeling of dread if housekeeping will burst through the door because you forgot to put the do not disturb sign up! It’s super safe as your door has a unique number code so no need to carry key card or fob. It’s so relaxed and peaceful and other guests are very respectful. There is signage across the property with handy tips and useful information which we loved. People managing the property are attentive and helpful!

The location was great, very handy for the ferry across to the shops, and for access to all the tourist sites in Valletta. 1 minute's walk away was a great view of the harbour. The mattress was very comfortable and it was useful to have the kitchen and free coffee from the espresso machine. The member of staff I saw all the time was Abbi who was really helpful and friendly and was able to answer questions about the facilities and the local area. I also regularly used Gourmet Kafe, 103 Old Theatre Street as they were really friendly and the food was great!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this Mandera’s Boutique Suites and Dorms! The welcoming was exquisite, and the ambiance too. The excellent services provided by the staff were truly remarkable, making me feel valued and well taken care of throughout my stay. The friendliness of the staff members added a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. Moreover, I was truly impressed by the level of cleanliness and elegance that this establishment maintained. Every corner of this place was impeccably clean, and the elegant decor added a touch of a twist of history, contemporary and modern to the entire experience. The overall atmosphere of the place was nothing short of magnificent, making it a destination I will definitely return to again and again. I can't wait to recommend this place to my friends and family. The combination of the welcoming , excellent services, friendly staff, cleanliness, and overall elegance make it a top-notch choice for anyone seeking a remarkable getaway. This is now my go-to place, and I can't wait to create more memories here in the future!

Accommodation in ultra-central Valletta, On a quiet street Ajkla Triq = Eagle Street, 3 minutes from the Secret Garden, 10 minutes from Casa Rocca Piccola and the Palace of the Grand Masters. Spacious rooms with hot/cold shower, good drinking water, elevator.

Perfect location, clean, friendly and very helpful staff, also very clear instructions to check in and out. Highly recommend it.

The room was comfortable and clean. In the centre of Valletta you can find everything in 2 minutes. The owner was very helpful for all instructions.

The appartment is wells equipped with A/C, bathroom and kitchen in the heart of Valletta. Perfect for visiting the city. The terrace on the top of the building gives an awesome view on the old Valletta.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Domus Zamittello. The location is perfect right on the main street, with easy walking access to restaurants, shops, and the main bus stop. The sunset views from the area are stunning, and the hotel’s terrace is especially beautiful and relaxing. Some rooms and the terrace even overlook the concert venue next door, which makes for a very special experience. My room was very comfortable and well appointed, which made my stay even more pleasant. As a vegan, I really appreciated how attentive the staff were to my needs during breakfast. They were all incredibly polite, kind, and thoughtful, which added so much to the experience. The hotel itself is charming and welcoming, and everything about it felt enjoyable and memorable. I absolutely loved Malta, and if I return which I surely will Domus Zamittello will definitely be my first choice. Many thanks to all the staff for their kindness and warm hospitality.

This was one of the best stays I ever had. Everything was perfect. Hotel is located very central. It is newly renovated and they thought of everything to make your stay pleasant. It was my birthday weekend and the staff congratulated me and had a little courtesy waiting in the room. We booked a room with king size bed which was on the 3rd floor facing the inner courtyard, which was very quiet. Room is clean, bed is very comfortable with a lot of pillows and a nice bedding which keeps warm (January). We liked the breakfast style. No buffet. You order from the card, i.e. no food waste and it is fresh. The staff is very helpful, flexible and attentive in order to make your day and your stay in Malta very comfortable. For us it is a no-brainer where we are staying at our next visit.

This is hotel is truly extraordinary. Set right in the center of Valletta, you cannot ask for a better location. As soon as you open its doors you feel the tranquility of this perfect hotel. A renovated palace, meticulously maintained, it’s the perfect spot to explore Malta. Our suite was spacious, with a comfortable king size bed, two renovated batrooms, and a separate living area, perfect for an extended stay. Staff was attentive and helpful in every way. A special mention to Sandra, whose recommendations were right on point. Her help in securing tours and restaurant reservations were invaluable. Last but not least, the hotel’s restaurant L’Ancora must be visited. There are many great options in Valletta, but this one is highly recommended.

I rarely write reviews but wanted to share what a truly great experience we had at Domus Zamittello. I can’t fault this hotel, it’s honestly perfect. A super-convenient location in the heart of Valletta that’s only a 4-5 minute walk to all the main sights, shops and restaurants. Its hygiene and style are impeccable with fantastic attention to detail. The breakfast choice is great and all dishes every morning were so well-cooked and presented. The rooftop terrace is a sun-trap and a welcome quiet haven when you need some peace and quiet. But most of all, it’s the staff at the hotel that made our stay so perfect. They all go out of their way to make you feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Special mention to the team on reception but especially to the Colombian guy (Augustine? I should’ve checked his name) who was a delight and also to the waiting staff at breakfast who were so efficient and smiley each morning. They all make an amazing team and should be very proud of how they make their guests feel. The hotel does cost a bit more than some others but it’s definitely worth it. We would recommend for sure and will stay here again if we return to Malta.

Domus Zamittello is strategically located at the corner of Pjazza Teatru Rjal and Republic street, a few minutes walk from Upper Barakka Gardens, St. John’s Co-Cathedral and Valetta’s main bus station. Although my room looked onto Republic Street that was busy until midnight, I still could sleep with open windows, enjoying the breeze. The room was clean, the bed comfy and the wi-fi fast. Hotel staff were hospitable, friendly and helpful. One could order breakfast from a selection a la carte in the restaurant that is open whole day. Breakfast was good and provided for a good start to an active day. Domus Zamittello is a beautifully renovated old palazzo. My room was accordingly not that spacious. The hotel has a large balcony with spectacular views on Valletta City Gate. It is a pity that no drinks are served there.

The Phoenicia is exceptional. Ideally located right by the city gates into Valletta - easily walkable to local restaurants, bars, and cultural attractions - and 2 minutes walk from the main bus terminal, with routes across the island including to the airport, Mdina and other cities. Bright, comfortable room - cleaned twice a day - with all expected amenities and a small balcony with beautiful views overlooking the city and harbour. The hotel features two swimming pools including a stunning infinity pool overlooking the harbour and an indoor pool in the spa, which also holds saunas, a steam room, gym and massage facilities (access to everything is included, although you pay seperately for individual massage treatments). The outdoor pool also has its own restaurant attached which serves poolside food and drink all day. The hotel includes an excellent main restaurant, with top quality and varied breakfasts and evening meals. Multiple comfortable lounges and bars too. Staff were - without exception - polite, approachable and friendly, and met any request we had. In fact they often went out of their way to add unexpected personal touches for our stay, which was greatly appreciated. The concierge service was really helpful too, answering any questions and arranging a sailing trip for us as well. The hotel exceeded all our expectations, and we'd go back in a heartbeat!

We had a fantastic time at the Phoenician, spacious and clean room with all comfort, breakfast had a great selection with a La carte offers plus buffet and a omelette isle, swimming pool outdoor with a beautiful view and indoor clean and spacious, restaurant food tasty and fresh. Most important things a helpful and friendly staff ready to accommodate any requests and always smiling. Perfect location within 5 minutes from Valletta centre.

The best thing was probably breakfast 😁 amazing selection, the waffles were superb and great service, the day always started well. The restaurant and lounge were beautiful, clean and very comfortable. Beautiful views from our room on the fourth floor and from the restaurant. Very comfortable beds and a charming little balcony with a stunning view. The spa was great, extremely relaxing. Staff were amazing and Walson made us feel very welcome and did an amazing afternoon tea show, presenting the pastries and scones on a "tower of happiness" 😊 the bastion pool was astounding however it was too nippy to take a dip. The gardens were gorgeous and well tended to. Astounding location directly before the city gate, practical for taking a stroll around the old town.

This was our second stay at The Phoenicia Hotel. As before, everything was perfect. From the ever friendly staff (breakfast, poolside bar, spa, domestic and turn-down team) to the comfort of the room and the view over the yacht harbour. The hotel provides a great breakfast in the restaurant that sets you up for the day and has good bar facilities in the evening. The hotel infinity pool / bar is set in it's own gardens and overlooks the harbour. We needed it as the temperature was 35 degrees. We also treated ourselves to a hotel spa massage and treatment which was great. The hotel is in an excellent location 300 metres outside Valetta city walls. Rather than use the hotel restaurant we chose to eat in the evening in the city (lots of restaurants - seafood / Italian etc). Whilst we were there, the city had a beer and music festival - very good entertainment. The hotel is also very near the transport hub and we took a hop-on / hop off bus tour of the south of the island - good value and a good way to see the essentials - as well as day trips to the resort of Sliema (shopping) and an escorted tour of the "3 cities" (the 3 strongholds that the Knights of The Order of St John built before Valetta) - again good value with a really lovely and informative guide. All in all The Phoenicia is exceptional and we hope to return very soon.

Lovely traditional hotel. Public spaces were definitely '5 star', comfortable, nicely decorated and spacious. Rooms were less so, more a solid '4 star' as neither plush nor overly comfortable. On arrival, there were blown lamp bulbs that should have been replaced before giving the room to guests and the USB sockets did not work either which was somewhat inconvenient. However, most room amenities were excellent (like the Acgua di Parma toiletries) and the daily complimentary soft drink mini bar was nice to have. House keeping was prompt and excellent (except last day when rooms were still unmade at 4.00pm) and evening turn down service was faultless. Beds were comfortable linens were top notch. Had a huge if slightly old fashioned bathroom but it was nice to have a large opening window. Breakfast was faultless and the service exemplary, nothing was too much trouble and carried out in a very friendly warm fashion, in fact every staff member we had contact with were excellent. It all felt genuine. Had dinner one evening in the restaurant and that was excellent too. There was a Christmas tree lighting ceremony during our stay which offered delicious canapes and pastries. Hotel location is excellent, at the gates to Valletta town. There are extensive nicely maintained gardens but the open air swimming pool was at the furthest end of the grounds and looked pretty rough and uninviting, might be better in the summer months. But definitely recommend - had a great stay.

However, most room amenities were excellent (like the Acgua di Parma toiletries) and the daily complimentary soft drink mini bar was nice to have. House keeping was prompt and excellent (except last day when rooms were still unmade at 4.00pm) and evening turn down service was faultless. Beds were comfortable linens were top notch. Had a huge if slightly old fashioned bathroom but it was nice to have a large opening window. Breakfast was faultless and the service exemplary, nothing was too much trouble and carried out in a very friendly warm fashion, in fact every staff member we had contact with were excellent. It all felt genuine. Had dinner one evening in the restaurant and that was excellent too. There was a Christmas tree lighting ceremony during our stay which offered delicious canapes and pastries. Hotel location is excellent, at the gates to Valletta town. There are extensive nicely maintained gardens but the open air swimming pool was at the furthest end of the grounds and looked pretty rough and uninviting, might be better in the summer months. But definitely recommend - had a great stay.

Thoroughly recommend this hotel for its luxury touches, exceptional staff and warm atmosphere.

Fabulous hotel. Very central to most of Valletta’s sights. Very close to Merchant Street with its vast choice of restaurants shops and cafes. The classic twin room was traditional style, good size and the beds extremely comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with rainfall shower over the bath. Breakfast was superb with a mix of buffet table with ham, cheeses, fresh fruit, bread, cakes and pastries and fresh orange juice, and also an excellent menu for cooked breakfasts which was served to your table along with tea or coffee. The staff are great, very friendly, helpful and attentive. There’s also a bar and rooftop small pool. Valletta is a very walkable city, bear in mind some streets are pretty steep should you have any mobility problems. Lots of transport options, buses are cheap and regular. There’s a tourist train that goes around the city and Hop on Hop off buses too, and not forgetting boat trips around the harbour. We would highly recommend this hotel for a city break!

I decided to book this hotel after reading the reviews and the location. I am so pleased I did choose The Gomerino Hotel. To be honest I was a little worried about the suitability of the hotel with regards to the steep streets as I was with my Mother who is in her 80's. However, there was a flat route across the road to the centre of Valletta... with an abundance of bars and restaurants to choose from. The hotel has absolutely amazing staff. From Check in to Check out the receptionists were so friendly and welcoming and the staff at breakfast were so professional. I had read about other reviews about the bread being dry at breakfast and I have to agree. Possibly owing to the air blowing from above where it is located at the buffet. However, the choice of items you can order from the menu you don't need to have any of the bread. I loved the porridge! The room was very nice and tastefully decorated and clean. The housekeeping staff were also very lovely. As the bedroom floors are marble you can hear people above pulling chairs and whatever across the floor and I could hear people in the bathroom. Which is surprising in an older building... however, this would not put me off booking again. The rooftop was fantastic for a glass of Maltese Spritz looking at the harbour views of an evening. You may not find a lounger every day... but out of 5 we did spend a day relaxing and it was really super. I had not been in Malta for 30 years and definitely want to return.

If you arrive before the check-in time, you can leave your belongings in the hotel's storage and rush off to explore Malta. The room is cozy, perfectly cleaned every day, there is water, coffee and tea. The bathroom is spacious and clean, only a shelf to store cosmetics/things and hangers for towels, robes, bathing suits are too few. Breakfast is excellent, sweet pastries, cold snacks and hot dishes can be ordered from the menu. The indoor pool is very cozy and warm. The pool on the terrace was a bit cold (because it's winter) but the view is perfect! When we return to Malta (because it is impossible not to return), Gomerino Hotel will be among the top choices for our next stay.

(There was some noise through a connecting door; people were unaware of it and were quiet after being requested to.) Breakfast was good with lots of options, buffet and cooked. Avoid the coffee. You can’t classify yourself as a boutique hotel and serve up Nescafé instant. Great view from the rooftop bar. Tip: many of the rooms seem to have a window overlooking an open inside area. Do as we did and book a room with a balcony. It a small area and you can’t really sit out on it but it does give you a street view and outside light. Generally we were very pleased with the hotel and would certainly look to book it again if we came to Valletta.

We were welcomed at the reception of this beautiful boutique hotel with a lovely cold glass of Prosecco. Perfect! The hotel is set right in the heart of Valletta. The location is fantastic and although on a busy street, we did not hear any outside noise from our room. It is easy walking distance of Valletta’s attractions, as well as the bus station and ferry port for Gozo. The room had all the amenities we required including a fridge, kettle and coffee maker. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and modern. All staff we met were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing with a great choice of hot drinks, juices, fruits, meats, cheeses, pastries and eggs cooked to your liking. All served to you at your table by friendly, attentive staff. Thanks for a great stay.

We stayed for 3 nights at St John’s. We were very early for check in but that was no problem. We were made to feel very welcome and offered a glass of fizz and a chat with Richard who was very helpful explaining the local sites and attractions. Jennifer was on reception who was equally welcoming and very helpful. The room was on the top floor at the rear of the building. Very quiet and clean. Breakfast was at the main hotel a couple of doors down. Really lovely continental breakfast with lots of extras and options to have a cooked breakfast at extra cost. Food was fresh and lots of choice. Service was excellent. The location was fantastic. Central to all the sites and in walking distance of most things. Valletta is such a beautiful city. We really enjoyed our mini break. A few things to mention that could be improved on. The bed was very hard and we didn’t sleep as well as we should have. Also, we would expect bottled water to be supplied daily in the mini fridge but instead we got a jug of water. Which we didn’t drink. When we asked for bottled water at reception this wasn’t an issue and we were given some. But it would be much better just to supply them daily on the room clean. Overall a very positive experience excellent service and staff.

Hotel is easily reached from the airport taking about 20 minutes on the X4 bus at the incredibly cheap price of €3. From the bus stop it’s about a 5 - 10 minute walk but it is uphill! Hotel is conveniently located in a pedestrianised part of the street within easy reach of most of the major sites. The room was spacious and clean with a great waterfall shower. As others have said, with our room overlooking the street, there was noise from the bars below especially at weekends when there was live music till 11 pm. The bass was particularly prominent and would certainly annoy some people. All the staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. A special mention for the breakfast team who made us feel so welcome. We had breakfast included and couldn’t complain about the choice available. There were also various other options available at an extra charge. We also ate at Grain Street on 2 nights and although a bit more expensive than the other restaurants in the area, the food was first class and a step above what was on offer in most of the other nearby restaurants. Would use this hotel again if visiting Valletta

We have just come back from a nine night stay at this centrally located hotel. You check in and have your breakfast at the five star sister hotel Rosselli Ax Privilage a couple of doors down. There are many more positives than negatives: - the location is fantastic and so convenient to get anywhere in this amazing city from here. - all the staff we encountered were lovely - polite and friendly. - a special shout out to Katho and the breakfast team - they made our stay very special - they were all brilliant - a very big thank you to them. - breakfast was good and varied with plenty of choice. - being so central noise is potentially a problem - especially live music on a weekend - didn’t bother us to much but I could imagine in summer if you don’t want to close your windows or doors it would be. - the room was spacious and lovely. It was cleaned very well by housekeeping but had a couple of maintenance issues - leaking shower and light switch not working. - also very limited storage - two small drawers for nine nights is not enough. That said great staff and brilliant location.

We carefully chose this boutique hotel for its location and excellent reviews. We had a very comfortable and large twin room with an enclosed traditional Maltese balcony with city views. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were welcoming and very helpful. We took advantage of their offer to arrange transport to and from the airport at a modest cost. This was the wise decision in view of the steep streets! Location was ideal with several nice restaurants and bars close by and it's only 10 minutes to Republic Street and Merchant Street, St John's co cathedral or the upper Barakka gardens. The bus station is a similar distance and the public transport system works extremely well. Additionally there is a small bus that works a route around the old town and the nearest stop is only two or three minutes from the hotel. Bathroom was well provisioned with good shower and we had in room facilities for making hot drinks together with a coffee pot machine and a much appreciated fridge. A jug of fresh drinking water was provided each day. The included breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices together with some optional extras which would require additional payment. Everything was cooked to order. I would certainly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a central location but a nice quiet hotel with friendly helpful staff. A particular mention to Patricia on reception who was extremely kind, to Manisha in the breakfast team, not forgetting Raja and Anand.

Lovely room with a good seating area, two spacious single beds together and a big balcony with views. It was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s central so everything in Valletta is within walking distance, including the bus station to buy tickets and get on the hopper bus. It’s also very safe given its in the Embassy area so a discreet police presence around. It’s a Boutique hotel so inevitably minor picky issues i.e. not leaving us decaf coffee every day and breakfast room service clearly confused them, but they kindly worked it out for us. Who wouldn’t want to have a private breakfast on a warm balcony with great views over the old city. Great hotel … highly recommended. And next door is the Naan bar. Lovely restaurant with great food at a good price so worth a visit on your first night. If you don’t fancy that there are lots of restaurants nearby though.

We stayed at La Falconeria Hotel to kick off our honeymoon, and it truly gave us a taste of luxury right from the start. The hotel itself is beautiful—spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated, and ideally located to explore all that Valletta has to offer. We were delighted to receive a free upgrade with romantic honeymoon decorations, which made our stay feel extra special. They even gave us a voucher for a glass of Prosecco at the rooftop bar of their sister hotel nearby—such a thoughtful touch! Our room was on the smaller side, but so well-designed that it felt cozy rather than cramped. The rainfall shower in the bathroom was a standout feature—perfect after a day of sightseeing. Daily fresh water in the room was another appreciated detail. The breakfast was fantastic, especially the eggs benedict—absolutely delicious. And every single staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond. One small downside: the on-site pool is very cold and not really suited for lounging. We only discovered on our last day that the rooftop bar at their sister hotel has a pool too—wish we’d known earlier! Overall, this was a brilliant experience and a perfect start to our honeymoon. Highly recommended!

Lovely hotel in the heart of Valletta, short walk everywhere (though hilly), pool is a plunge variety and not for swimming, bed and pillows very comfy, balcony very small, not wide enough for furniture, great view all the same, tea and coffee tasted weird (creamer ?off), would have liked a pod machine, however coffee with breakfast and breakfast exceptional, that is the only meal available in the restaurant too, the down side is that Hotel.com advertise a bar - there is no bar, well there is one that is open til 13.00 but only serves coffee!! So no 🍸🍹🍺 hay ho, we were directed to their sister hotel to use their roof terrace and bar, well I’ll not go into that as I’d say it’s an overstatement as there were no tables and chairs only sun beds. Hotel booked a taxi which they insisted I payed for in advance cash only - taxi driver said they had doubled the cost - that’s just cheeky!! Despite the downsides it was a nice hotel!

We stayed for 6 nights in the 5th floor executive suite with a large terrace - room 501. First thing to notice is the fantastic view towards the churches and Grand Harbour. We heard the bells only, birds and nothing else…ah the pleasure of a quiet hotel room without street noise or unruly loud neighbours! A good night’s sleep is helpful after long hours exploring beautiful Valletta and other places on the island. The room a is a long frontage with french windows opening to the north facing terrace. It includes a seating area, storage space and a large bathroom with a shower thats part of the bath. Some suggested small improvements are: better pillows, cushions for the outdoor seats, a wider shower screen and softer towels. We enjoyed breakfast - a hot choice made to order and a buffet selection. Our favorites were the Eggs Benedict and porridge. The hotel is close to Republic Street but the side street location means few tourists. Also, the hotel is opposite the French Consulate so very safe! We noticed people from all nationalities - everyone was polite and friendly and the staff at the hotel highly efficient with any request. Housekeeping was excellent. All in all a great stay at La Falconeria, especially in the room with a terrace and view.

We carefully chose this boutique hotel for its location and excellent reviews. We had a very comfortable and large twin room with an enclosed traditional Maltese balcony with city views. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were welcoming and very helpful. We took advantage of their offer to arrange transport to and from the airport at a modest cost. This was the wise decision in view of the steep streets! Location was ideal with several nice restaurants and bars close by and it's only 10 minutes to Republic Street and Merchant Street, St John's co cathedral or the upper Barakka gardens. The bus station is a similar distance and the public transport system works extremely well. Additionally there is a small bus that works a route around the old town and the nearest stop is only two or three minutes from the hotel. Bathroom was well provisioned with good shower and we had in room facilities for making hot drinks together with a coffee pot machine and a much appreciated fridge. A jug of fresh drinking water was provided each day. The included breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices together with some optional extras which would require additional payment. Everything was cooked to order. I would certainly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a central location but a nice quiet hotel with friendly helpful staff. A particular mention to Patricia on reception who was extremely kind, to Manisha in the breakfast team, not forgetting Raja and Anand.

Lovely room with a good seating area, two spacious single beds together and a big balcony with views. It was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s central so everything in Valletta is within walking distance, including the bus station to buy tickets and get on the hopper bus. It’s also very safe given its in the Embassy area so a discreet police presence around. It’s a Boutique hotel so inevitably minor picky issues i.e. not leaving us decaf coffee every day and breakfast room service clearly confused them, but they kindly worked it out for us. Who wouldn’t want to have a private breakfast on a warm balcony with great views over the old city. Great hotel … highly recommended. And next door is the Naan bar. Lovely restaurant with great food at a good price so worth a visit on your first night. If you don’t fancy that there are lots of restaurants nearby though.

We stayed at La Falconeria Hotel to kick off our honeymoon, and it truly gave us a taste of luxury right from the start. The hotel itself is beautiful—spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated, and ideally located to explore all that Valletta has to offer. We were delighted to receive a free upgrade with romantic honeymoon decorations, which made our stay feel extra special. They even gave us a voucher for a glass of Prosecco at the rooftop bar of their sister hotel nearby—such a thoughtful touch! Our room was on the smaller side, but so well-designed that it felt cozy rather than cramped. The rainfall shower in the bathroom was a standout feature—perfect after a day of sightseeing. Daily fresh water in the room was another appreciated detail. The breakfast was fantastic, especially the eggs benedict—absolutely delicious. And every single staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond. One small downside: the on-site pool is very cold and not really suited for lounging. We only discovered on our last day that the rooftop bar at their sister hotel has a pool too—wish we’d known earlier! Overall, this was a brilliant experience and a perfect start to our honeymoon. Highly recommended!

Lovely hotel in the heart of Valletta, short walk everywhere (though hilly), pool is a plunge variety and not for swimming, bed and pillows very comfy, balcony very small, not wide enough for furniture, great view all the same, tea and coffee tasted weird (creamer ?off), would have liked a pod machine, however coffee with breakfast and breakfast exceptional, that is the only meal available in the restaurant too, the down side is that Hotel.com advertise a bar - there is no bar, well there is one that is open til 13.00 but only serves coffee!! So no 🍸🍹🍺 hay ho, we were directed to their sister hotel to use their roof terrace and bar, well I’ll not go into that as I’d say it’s an overstatement as there were no tables and chairs only sun beds. Hotel booked a taxi which they insisted I payed for in advance cash only - taxi driver said they had doubled the cost - that’s just cheeky!! Despite the downsides it was a nice hotel!

We stayed for 6 nights in the 5th floor executive suite with a large terrace - room 501. First thing to notice is the fantastic view towards the churches and Grand Harbour. We heard the bells only, birds and nothing else…ah the pleasure of a quiet hotel room without street noise or unruly loud neighbours! A good night’s sleep is helpful after long hours exploring beautiful Valletta and other places on the island. The room a is a long frontage with french windows opening to the north facing terrace. It includes a seating area, storage space and a large bathroom with a shower thats part of the bath. Some suggested small improvements are: better pillows, cushions for the outdoor seats, a wider shower screen and softer towels. We enjoyed breakfast - a hot choice made to order and a buffet selection. Our favorites were the Eggs Benedict and porridge. The hotel is close to Republic Street but the side street location means few tourists. Also, the hotel is opposite the French Consulate so very safe! We noticed people from all nationalities - everyone was polite and friendly and the staff at the hotel highly efficient with any request. Housekeeping was excellent. All in all a great stay at La Falconeria, especially in the room with a terrace and view.

On entering the Osborn you can see it's very clean with nice decor and has a lovely fragrance. The reception staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast and dining room is spotless and comfortable with a large selection of breakfast options including fresh fruit, cereals, bread, pastries and cooked options. The rooms we have been in are spotlessly clean with nice clean modern bathrooms and walk in shower units. The beds are large and comfortable with clean crisp sheets and comfy pillows.

Fabulous choice of food at breakfast buffet table. Breakfast available 7am - 10.30am. Staff very polite and helpful. Room and ensuite perfect. Location perfect. In a quiet street within easy walking distance of town centre, restaurants and bus station. Attractive, clean decor in hotel. Best to take taxi from airport on arrival €19. Valletta streets very clean and tidy. Well behaved, friendly, polite people. Young and old! Plenty of historical places to visit in Valletta and bus ride away.

It is ideally situated in the centre of Valetta but not noisy and easily walkable to restaurants, museums, the main shops, the bus station and the ferries. The staff, especially Michael on the front desk, are all very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is exceptional with an extensive choice of hot and cold continental food and drinks. Our room was a very good size and with an equally good size and well appointed bathroom. The room was nicely decorated and air conditioned and the bed was a good size and very comfortable. In addition there is a sun terrace on the roof with a small plunge pool which is ideal for relaxing after a long day walking around Valetta. And all this was good value for money.

Described as a budget hotel, the Osborne Hotel is very comfortable and the breakfast excellent. We had a standard room that was fine, my sister had a sea view room that was lovely with a good view of the harbour and the cruise liners coming in and out, worth the extra money. There is a terrace with a very small "plunge pool" rather than swimming pool and a gym in the basement. There is also a comfortable Bar area. All we could want with friendly and helpful staff.

Our second time at this hotel, a converted palazzo at the upper end of Valletta. It’s an ideal place to base yourself. A short walk from City Gate, which is handy when the airport taxis don’t want to go into the city. It’s clean, with well equipped and comfortable rooms. There’s even a small gym and a roof terrace with a pool, which is a plus for Valletta, though we didn’t use it at this time of year. There’s no restaurant, though there is a breakfast room and a lounge with bar, but that’s not a problem as there are plenty of top notch restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. There’s even staff are very friendly and it’s terrific value for money.

We loved the hotel, it was on one of the main pedestrianised streets in central Valletta, it was in a great location as was close to everything. Loads of shops, bars and restaurants close by. The room itself was lovely, clean and modern. The bathroom was lovely too with shampoo/conditioner shower gel and body lotion, all vegan. There was complimentary water and wine to drink and a nespresso coffee machine. Netflix is also available, you just need your own log in details. The breakfast was really nice. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We would 100% book again.

Superb location, walking distance from literally everything. Big room, exceptionally clean, large and very comfortable bed. Our room was overlooking to some inner courtyard so it was very quite during the night - we slept with terrace door open. Yes, the door lock does not open from first swipe every time, but it is just a matter of swiping your card few more times. It is a boutique hotel so you do not have reception staff present 24/7 but that was not an issue for us we felt very safe and staff is very helpful for everything you need. Note: breakfast is "order" type so if you are on time limit in the morning count in proper time for breakfast, it is not some long waiting time but takes longer than buffet (also is delicious 🙂).

Location in heart of Valletta. Friendly helpful staff. Special thanks to the administrator Angelika! She managed to check us in much earlier than was written. Gave advices where to go in Malta. Many thanks to a guy in kitchen. On first day we were allowed to get included in price breakfast, even though we came a bit later than 10:00, when breakfast is finished. Tasty coffee, enough variety of breakfast options.

The hotel has a perfect location in the center of the city on the main street. All the tourist places are very near as well as the bus and ferry stops to the other cities if you want to visit them. The restaurants and bars are near the hotel and you can enjoy the great atmosphere of the city during the day and night. The accomodation was perfect. The rooms are large and convenient, very clean. The staff is friendly and very helpfull. The breakfast was very delicious. I definetely recommend this hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Harbour Hotel. The location couldn't have been better for sightseeing. The staff were all friendly and helpful with any queries. The room was a bit dated but clean and comfortable and our side view over the harbour was lovely. The church bells were not a problem to us and only heard them when the door was open. The bed and pillows were comfy. The room had a safe and a coffee/tea making facilities. The shower had plenty of hot water. The air con was good and quiet. The hotel had a lift too. Enjoyed some time on the roof terrace watching the boats come and go with a sneaky glass of wine in the sunshine. The breakfast was good with plenty of variety - hot and cold. The pastries were delicious. Would definitely stay here again if in Valletta

This is our second visit to Grand Harbour, and we were delighted to have the same Terrace room with superb harbour views. All the staff here are friendly and welcoming, and everything is clean and well maintained. The location for town centre could not be better, and transport links to Gozo and Three Cities are very close by. A good quality buffet breakfast is served in a small, but comfortable, dining room and in the evening the small bar is well stocked and fairly priced. Very comfortable bed, and a small ensuite shower room was perfect for our brief stay.

The stay at the hotel was priceless, and whoever booked a sea-view room and rated it lower than 10, should have an eye check-up! The room was super clean and bright, with a coffee and tea setup. There was one European outlet/Europlug/ so we didn’t have to buy an adapter. I was a bit concerned about a spring mattress bed, but it was comfortable. All employees were super helpful and friendly and booked us a taxi to the airport and organized breakfast bags as we had to check out at 3am. Breakfast at the hotel was tasty and espresso on the machine served with breakfast was great. The hotel is located in a great area within a couple of minutes of walk to the most important sights in Valletta. It has a unique old-fashioned style and it is so lovely.

We had a top floor room and the view of the harbour and the city beyond was amazing. The room was spacious and although the decor was rather old fashioned, it was comfortable. Lighting in the room and bathroom was very good. There was a rooftop terrace from which we were able to get a grandstand view of the main fireworks show- probably the best viewpoint in the city! The hotel was within easy walking distance of the old city centre and plenty of restaurants. We took a fast ferry to Gozo one day and the terminal is a short walk down from the hotel and visible from our room. Breakfast was buffet based with a good choice of hot and cold food- very tasty. The granola was excellent as were the sausages and bacon.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel and would happily return! The entire stay was smooth and pleasant, but what truly made it special was the exceptional service, especially from the receptionist, Shaun. He was incredibly welcoming, professional, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. From check-in to check-out, Shaun made sure everything was perfect — truly a gem of the staff! The room was clean and cozy, the location was convenient, and overall, it felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great service and a relaxing stay!

My stay in 66 St Pauls was brilliant. I have never been to Malta before, so when a business meeting in Malta happened, I took the opportunity to stay another 4 days there. It is always difficult finding a hotel in a place that you have never been to; where do you go? what sort of hotel? will the area be good? will there be local restaurants around? will the staff be friendly and knowledgeable? will the place be clean? After careful consideration, I chose 66 St Pauls and was not disappointed. The hotel is on an typical Valetta street, long, straight, with tall buildings. A small entrance opens up into a grand atrium. Stone walls, marble floors. Immediately greeted by friendly staff, offered (gratis) coffee, and a general chat. Shown to my room, air conditioning and other controls demonstrated. The room was spacious, well decorated, clean. Large clean bathroom with high volume shower, always important. My room had no views, which didn't matter to me. There are amazing views over the grand harbour from the small pool area at the top of the hotel. Breakfast is the only meal the hotel provides, a wonderful continental style breakfast (including cold meats and fish), always beautifully laid out every morning. The hotel is 200 yards from the main street of Valetta (but you don't hear a sound from the street). There are dozens of good restaurants in the immediate area. And lots of Valetta and Malta to explore. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, and will stay again next year

This was hands down one if my favourite hotels that I've ever stayed in. Super clean, such comfortable and beautiful rooms (amazing power shower, lively toiletries and comfy beds). Perfect breakfast. Amazing view from roof area, great location for walking around - great bars and restaurants all around. So we felt very safe, but also quiet in the hotel itself. Full of charm and character but most importantly the team are so helpful, warm and lovely. Especially the guys on the front desk! We honestly didn't want to leave!

My husband and I stayed here for four nights. Our room was amazing! We were in room 601. Stunning view and the room was extremely spacious and very clean. We sat on the terrace every morning and enjoyed the view and had our coffee. The breakfast had a nice selection. All of the staff at the hotel were very friendly and always helpful with any thing we needed. The location was also perfect. Many restaurants and cafes around the corner. All of Valletta is walkable. The ferries are close to see many sights as well. This was our favourite boutique hotel in all of our travels.

Firstly, location. Valletta is the perfect place to stay in Malta, and this hotel is in the heart of it. Very close to lots of shops, restaurants, bars and cultural sites. Plus there are many very good transport links within a 5 minute walk - lots of buses plus the ferry. Secondly, the hotel and its staff were super helpful and accommodating in every way. They let us check in early, use the hotel amenities after we checked out, gave us local recommendations etc. they were also all super kind and welcoming, and always happy to help! Finally, the hotel itself. Beautiful, clean, elegant. Lovely big, clean rooms equipped with molton brown toiletries, towels, bath robes, sewing kit, a safe, complementary daily bottled water and more. High ceilings, good lighting and very effective air conditioning. I would recommend getting a room with city or sea view, definitely worth the slight extra cost. The pool is just what you need after a long day exploring Malta, and the pool area was always quiet with the option to order poolside drinks anytime. If you are looking for a place to stay in Malta, I couldn’t recommend this place more.

My stay in 66 St Pauls was brilliant. I have never been to Malta before, so when a business meeting in Malta happened, I took the opportunity to stay another 4 days there. It is always difficult finding a hotel in a place that you have never been to; where do you go? what sort of hotel? will the area be good? will there be local restaurants around? will the staff be friendly and knowledgeable? will the place be clean? After careful consideration, I chose 66 St Pauls and was not disappointed. The hotel is on an typical Valetta street, long, straight, with tall buildings. A small entrance opens up into a grand atrium. Stone walls, marble floors. Immediately greeted by friendly staff, offered (gratis) coffee, and a general chat. Shown to my room, air conditioning and other controls demonstrated. The room was spacious, well decorated, clean. Large clean bathroom with high volume shower, always important. My room had no views, which didn't matter to me. There are amazing views over the grand harbour from the small pool area at the top of the hotel. The location was perfect, the breakfast was diverse and on top of that the view from the terrace of the restaurant was astonishing. Also all the staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. I would totally recommend this hotel also because it is very close to the bus terminus which makes it convenient to further exploring of the country.

The Hotel Castille is an older style hotel with a lot of charm and excellent views over the harbour. It is located close to Barrakka gardens, bus terminal and many good restaurants and attractions. An excellent buffet breakfast is served on the top floor restaurant which has some of the best views in Valletta. The room was spacious and had a comfortable bed.

Wonderful location, in the midst of the historic center. Beautiful view from my room. Excellent breakfast on the roof-top terrace with fabulous views ! The ambience on the terrace, plus the views mean you want to spend a lot of time just gazing over the city as you eat, sip your coffee.

Our stay at Carmelita Valletta was perfect--just as described! The host, Kenneth, was very responsive and accommodated us for a late checkout, which we really appreciated. This ultra-adorable apartment was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The location was a quiet gem! There are many "noisy" parts in Valletta due to church bells, the daily firing of cannons, and busy tourist streets, but this apartment is tucked away from all those charming reasons, yet still a 5-7 stroll to the center. Thank you, Kenneth, for sharing your amazing home with us!

Carmelita is very centralised which take you to most tourist attractions by foot in minutes. Shops and restaurants are also accessible. Nadine and Kenneth are also very helpful during the period of our stay. The apartment is cozy, homely and spacious. The beds are also comfortable. The beddings which we liked, made the bed so aesthetic and extra. It has touch of luxury and hotel grade thread count which helped us to have good sleep.

Also the communication via owner spot on. Arranged taxi from airport for us and good recommendations re local cafes/restaurants & bars. Had a brilliant time in Valletta. The location was fantastic. We were right in the heart of the city but on a quiet street so everything was nearby but it was not noisy at night. The hosts left a great list of restaurants, cafes, and ideas for day trips which was really helpful. They also responded quickly via WhatsApp. The apartment was a good space for two people and the kitchen was stocked well with crockery, pans, cutlery etc. It was really helpful that our bins were taken part way through the stay and towels and toilet roll restocked. We really enjoyed opening up the windows and sitting in the balcony space. It was great that we could arrive at any time with the key code, and that we could leave our bags in the corridor on our final day. Check-out at 11am was nice and relaxed. We would definitely stay again if we returned to Valletta - thank you!

Lovely stay for my partners birthday. The rooftop jacuzzi was a nice touch. Breakfast options were good. Quite noisy overnight from within the hotel itself. Room was a street facing room, but most of the noise came from things being moved around in the stairwell.

The location is exceptional. Walking distance to most of Valletta’s sights. The Junior suite was spacious, amazing high ceiling an attractive small enclosed balcony to watch the world go by. The room was beautifully appointed, the mezzanine provided a perfect space for the sofa bed for our children and still felt private. The basement dining room was quirky and the included breakfast extensive and welcome. Masks were worn in all communal areas and there were plenty of sanitizing stations but it never felt oppressive or detract from the overall experience. The rooftop terrace was small but a welcome escape from the streets, the jacuzzi was a great addition! Although there is not a bar on the terrace you can order drinks and they are brought up for you. All staff were welcoming and friendly. If we come back to Valletta we would definitely stay here again.

This was our first time in Malta and therefore our first time at The Cumberland Hotel. This is a lovely hotel, situated in the heart of Valletta. It is very close to shops and restaurants and places of interest, such as churches and museums. All of the staff we came into contact with at the hotel, receptionists, housekeeping staff, restaurant staff, were very friendly, polite and professional. Two of the reception staff stood out to us, they are Juliana and Zsanett, both of these receptionists were very helpful to us during our stay. The room was beyond our expectations, it was clean and tidy and very spacious. We booked a deluxe suite with a terrace and city view and we were not disappointed. Our stay included breakfast, there was a variety of items on the menu to choose from which catered to all tastes. The restaurant is situated on the ground floor of the hotel, the food was cooked fresh and was delicious. We ate at the restaurant every morning and on a couple of evenings. During Maltese bank holidays it is advisable to book a table at the restaurant if you want to eat there. It is a popular restaurant because of the good food and great service. I can definitely recommend The Cumberland Hotel as a place to stay in Malta.

The Cumberland is in the best location, next to St John co Cathedral. Very close to bus terminal. I got 6 days card and bus goes to everywhere. Super convenient. The hotel front desk is very friendly. The guy from Macedonia who works at front desk dragged my luggage and walked with me down to the street for ecab to airport at 4:30am. Greatly appreciated!! The room is great. Shower is strong. I have a balcony too. The breakfast is awesome. The hotel is very quiet. The only thing is few of my apps don't load if I use the hotel wifi, but it works when I use restaurant or airport wifi. Not sure if hotel wifi has some kind of filter. But general search on google or watch Netflix no issues at all. I strongly recommend this hotel. I will definitely stay there again.

We had a lovely time at this boutique hotel. There were a couple of issues with water - the toilet flush and the sound of the jacuzzi upstairs - both resolved quickly by the lovely staff. It was fun having breakfast in the ‘cave’ on the lower ground floor. Marked down from a 5 star due to misleading photo on Expedia - we thought the roof seating area and jacuzzi were available to everyone but it’s part of the top floor room, and the bath towels (changed as required) were a little small but we did have dressing gowns. Never saw the bar and if you want a balcony you need to request one when booking. Nevertheless a lovely clean little boutique hotel with great staff and a brilliant location in the centre of Valletta. Water was supplied daily. I would stay there again.

Very well located near to many restaurants, stores, attractions and a 6 minutes walk to the bus terminal, making easy to explore Malta by public transportation. Staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 202, a spacious room, very well lighted, with comfortable beds and pillows, and a nice traditional Valetta balcony. It was a nice touch having courtesy water, tea and coffee in the room. The hotel is very well decorated, with many pieces of art. The breakfast was delicious and with a huge variety of food and drinks. Like any other old building, it needs some small repairs. Get a better water isolation, it comes out in the shower, making the floor a little bit wet. We had a problem with the toilet flush, but it was repaired the same day. Some days there was a sewage smell from the toilet.

The hotel was perfect for our needs - convenient, quiet, comfortable and right in the center of town - perfect for our two-night stay. I would argue that he hotel feels more like a good quality business hotel than a true boutique hotel - but then the prices are also far from what In would expect for a very unique and boutique hotel experience. This is not intended to take ANYTHING away from the experience of Palazzo Paolina - bed was very comfy, coffee machine worked perfectly, bathroom was spotless etc. Also the reception staff were very willing to answer any questions and give recommendations - they really acted as combined concierge and tourist advisers during our short stay. And breakfast (included in the price) was very reasonable in my opinion, and very generous. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to use this hotel again.

Delightful staff who sat us in lobby complete with fountain & chandelier & brought iced water while room was prepared. Room was good size with great bathroom & walk in shower. Wardrobe light (I have poor vision) & iron & ironing board. Breakfast selection was vast. Freshly squeezed orange juice, fruit platter & omelette made to order for husband. He tried the full English one morning & said it was perfect. I am a yoghurt & mineral water breakfast person but the coffee was excellent. Ate out each night & returned to find bed turned down, water & glass & plate of homemade truffles on bedside table! Cannot fault this hotel. Every single member of staff was charming. Nothing was too.much trouble. To treat yourself book AX Rosselli Privilege.

Let’s first start with the staff ….. wow! 100% spot on, accurate and super friendly🙏🏻 Tom, the congierge (we think) was the star of our stay. So so sooo helpful and friendly. And also all other staff was always there to help. With a beautiful dinner in the Under Grain Restaurant (in the house), drinks on the roof top and street terras, high service room service ans housekeeping, we can say that we had the full experience of the hotel. We can totally recommend.

Extremely comfortable room as was the bed. Breakfast was very good and with a wide choice. All the Staff from the Reception team to the Restaurant team and also the Room Maintenance team were excellent. All were friendly, enthusiastic and extremely helpful - they could not be faulted. The hotel is very centrally located so nothing is too far away.

The property is beautifully designed and the staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant. the room and lobby were extremely clean. we loved the location as it is just a bit less busy than the center of Valletta but close to everything. the breakfast was generous and the presentation was lovely. We had a family dinner for 10 at Grain Street and the food was excellent. wonderful stay.

Great location for urban exploration, close to charming local restaurants and all the local attractions. Clean hotel with elegance, very helpful staff and we were surprised with a room upgrade, adding an extra touch of luxury to our stay.

This property is in an excellent location walking distance to lots of vibrant bars and restaurants. Decor was great and the room is super spacious. The self check was very convenient and the staff went out of their way to make sure everything was smooth. There was a mixup with my room and I was immediately upgraded and checked in to a fabulous room with an awesome view. I will definitely stay here again.

The room is amazing. Loved the decor. Very comfortable bed. The room was air-conditioned to the perfect temperature before we entered, and relaxing music in the room as you entered. A very nice touch! 👌 The location is right in the heart of the city, Valletta, and close to everything. I would recommend this place to everyone. Amazing Value for money..
