This past month was a difficult medical trip for my family and I. I needed a place that was quiet, safe, and clean, and I certainly got it here at Residence Inn Downtown/Pearl District. The first face you meet is usually Josh, the valet. This guy is the face of the hotel…as friendly and as helpful as they get! He helped me with my wheelchair multiple times, and always has a smile and a good morning for you! There was never a time I didn’t have my car well before I needed it. The staff and the breakfast crew were quick and helpful with any request and the housekeepers were outstanding. Hannah was our favorite as her style reminded us of the super clean hotels we stayed at in Europe, but they were all super helpful and quick. The hotel also has some nice amenities, including the computers, gym, and pool. Easy to order out or check out the local fare too. I will definitely return the next vacation. :)

Breakfast was pretty incredible. They had many GF options, even had a GF waffle mix and then they designated 1 waffle machine to strictly GF. They had dairy milk alternatives. vegetarian options. They compost. The Breakfast staff was super kind- shout out to Wanda & breakfast team! Gym was on bigger side with lots equipment and clean. Pool was clean and on the luke warm side of comfort. The double suite had 2 bed and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen had stainless steel pots/pans, no toxic nonstick teflon pans (yay!). 4 hours parking on safe side street next to hotel or the self paid parking garage, super easy to find parking. We felt safe walking at night to restaurants/ice cream. Great walkable area to waterfront, Saturday market, & Powell Bookstore.

Nice room layout. Clean, cozy and comfortable 3 night stay for my 17 and 19 year old daughters were there for, to attend a wedding. Breakfast was included with a nice selection to choose from, which was tended by Wanda, who was very warm and welcoming, and we enjoyed seeing her every morning. Although we Uber'd everywhere, Josh at valet was super friendly and attentive, always making sure we we're tended to and in our ride pickups safely. We felt at home away from home despite the cold and rainy weather. The front desk staff were friendly as well. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here for four nights with our son and daughter-in-law. Check-in was quick and easy. The Staff at the front desk made us feel very welcomed. Our Suite had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living area with a Sofa and flat-screen TV and a full Kitchen. It was very comfortable for us to hang out in. Breakfast selections were adequate for us to start out our day. Seating was enough for everyone. Wanda and her staff were gracious, pleasant and helpful. The only section we studiously avoided was the fresh Waffle Station, where there were daily arguments among little children who all wanted to “cook” their own breakfast. The parents should have been more vigilant, and considerate of other patrons. Oh well…! Location was fantastic. It was at a walking distance from Food Stores, Fresh Deli Market and tons of Restaurants. We felt safe in here, because there is only a Room Key Access to get in from the back and onto the Elevators. Every Staff member did their best to ensure that our visit was a pleasant one. We would like to visit Portland again and will have no hesitation staying here.

It was a refreshing place to call home for the night. The on site restaurant was great, breakfast was decent. I know that trying to feed the masses is an undertaking, but they did have fruit, yogurt, many offerings to give variety, it is just that many of the pre-made offerings (like the fluffy egg circles with cheese seem very artificial. The room was great. It was very clean, quiet, modern, and cozy. The area is nice too. In any pocket of Portland there can be issues, but this area was very safe and I could even park on the street given the arrival time. I did not have a concern about my car being bothered. The front desk attendants were really accommodating and answered questions about offerings in the area like a pro. I will keep this property in mind when we return, it was really close the the train station, so that opens up some ideas for future travel.

Excellent experience, from checking in to quiet comfortable room, great breakfast reasonably priced, mall across the street, max rail one block away, and convenient airport shuttle on demand. Gonzalo at the front desk was very kind and helpful when our flight was cancelled and we had to return to stay another night. Shuttle drivers were great. Loved the jacuzzi that was actually hot. Extra spacious room with sofa was really nice and very clean. For early departures, fresh fruit and packaged muffins were available. Light dinner can be purchased.

The rooms were huge, quiet, and very clean! Super friendly staff, easy check in. Clean workout room, clean pool with stocked towels. Nice breakfast selections, strong coffee. Comfortable beds and clean bedding. It was just perfect. Thank you!

Being an elderly person traveling alone, I appreciated feeling safe and comfortable away from home. I also appreciated how clean the entire facility was during my overnight stay, which was for the intention of being close to the airport to catch a very early plane out of Portland. I appreciated getting a wake up call on time, and that my shuttle driver greeted me by my first name and was early, prompt and very professional. I appreciated the very comfortable room and the senior discount, as well as the oh-so-comfortable bed and pillows, and a room that was perfectly climate-controlled. It made my brief stay very comfortable- LOVE THAT!

This hotel hits all the right notes for a visitor to a city: close to airport, on light rail...Excellent breakfast, spotless and spacious bedrooms. Great bathroom facility and shower water pressure. Price was perfect for us for this friendly 3* hotel. We note a lot of families were staying and a few sports teams of young people staying at the weekend. Despite being quite full most nights, there wasn't any corridor noise. The added bonus was a small bar at the reception for a night cap after our days' adventures. Prices were right.

Much better than expected. Room was spacious with a separate lounge area with couch, mini frig, sink, desk space . Mattress and pillows were very comfortable. Went in the hot tub and a quick dip in the pool. Was clean and not crowded at all. Close to stores and restaurants. Had to catch an early morning flight. Shuttle service was prompt at 3:40 am. The shuttle runs every 20 minutes. I also caught a shuttle to the hotel when I returned my rental car. Both drivers were friendly and helpful. Would definitively stay there again.

BEAUTIFUL rooms with glamourous bathroom and fun patterns. Bed was so comfy and location was convenient with most things 10 min walk away. Concierge was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was a convenient grab and go with pastries fruit and coffee/juice as the restaurant is not technically open. I appreciated there being almond milk at the coffee bar.

A beautiful, unique property. Our bedding was comfortable, the decor gorgeous and our room spacious and clean…except for the previous occupant’s food in the mini fridge. I would have preferred a restaurant on site (Finch was only open Friday and Saturday for limited hours) but we did get nice coffee and some pastries in the gorgeous lounge in the mornings. Everywhere was walkable including Powell book store, nice restaurants and shops. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would recommend to friends!

Beautiful hotel inside and out. Friendly and attentive managers and front desk with personal touch making you feel at home. Tastefully decorated front lobby and rooms, very unique and chic ambiance. Spacious rooms with high ceilings, well decorated. Most comfortable beds, pillows and linens. Rooms are clean and neat, very upscale feel. Spacious gym with modern equipment with fresh towels neatly wrapped at each station. I go out of my way to stay at this hotel when I am in Portland. This hotel should be replicated in every city. Most definitely 10 out of 10.

They nailed high-end quirky! Great art and decor, good vibes, quiet, spacious rooms, excellent attention to detail, fun lobby that managed to feel spacious and cozy at the same time, and they even added a mini fridge to our room when we had leftovers from dinner!!! Plus I’m always a sucker for a coffee and tea bar that has quality beverages on offer.

Right in downtown Portland- we were walking distance to Powell’s World of Books (highly recommend!), many restaurants, other stores and coffee shops. I absolutely love the eclectic decor of the hotel and our room in particular was really fun and as big as a whole apartment with doors that separated the entrance, bathroom, sitting room and bedroom. I got up early and used the gym which was huge and well maintained with a fridge that had cold water and chilled towels. Water pressure in the bathroom was excellent and I had the best shower of our trip there. Staff was so helpful and friendly, they told me that we get a $15 dollar per day credit at the mini-market (located at the front desk) and gave me a new razor and shave cream for free. So Glad we stayed here!

The property was clean and had a sophisticated vibe. My 10 year old daughter walked in and the first thing she said was " wow this is a nice hotel!" We've stayed in a lot of hotels so she does have experiences to compare it to. The pool was too cold but once we took the plunge and got used to the temp we had fun! We had the pool to ourselves too! The hot tub was perfect temp and the jets were strong. We only encountered the front desk staff and a waitress and they were both friendly and welcoming. No free breakfast, but we went over to Sunny's Diner (we could see it from out window) and they had THE BEST scramble I've ever eaten. We did have dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was a nice environment with ok food and great service. We are looking forward to another trip here so we can spend more time exploring the area.

This hotel was exceptionality clean and comfortable! The hallways and room looked and smelled clean, and the room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was excellent and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We felt very safe during our stay, and the hotel even had a security robot that patrolled outside the building! We will definitely be staying here again next time we’re in Vancouver!

We were there on memorial day weekend and they were busy. The staff there were professional and helpful. A shout out to the morning server. He was energetic, professional even though he was busy and friendly. We had a maintenance issue with the toilet over flowing and the gentle man was very friendly, helpful and professional as well.

The hotel was a pleasant surprise: comfortable, quiet and very clean. The restaurant-style breakfast was outstanding. They have a security robot outside, who surveys the parking lot. The hotel is in a very quiet and safe neighborhood, though.

Clean, comfortable, modern property Courteous and helpful with staff ample parking. Good size rooms, newer hotel Convenient for our overnight stay on this trip on the way to Seattle, and convenient to exploring the Vancouver/Portland/Columbia River area. Would stay here again!

Just stayed here and I would highly recommend. Close to airport and the shuttle service is excellent, professional and helpful if you have any questions on flight times or when you should leave for your early morning flight the front desk and shuttle drivers are very helpful. Hotel front desk is helpful and considerate. We forgot an item in our rental car that we just dropped off at the airport and the shuttle service came right away to bring us back to the rental car area. Front desk also packed up a few to go breakfast bags for us to eat before 3am shuttle. If you want to be right by the airport for an early morning flight I would stay here again. Location wasn’t questionable like other hotels in area. Overall clean, quick and friendly hotel.

Room was nice, clean, and comfortable. But we had to walk next door to the neighboring hotel for dinner. Normally not a problem, but one of our group had trouble walking even that far. Staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty for breakfast, but the bacon was definitely undercooked, and the scrambled eggs were cold. I think the serving container could have been heated up a bit. But we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

I read up on this hotel prior to booking and some reviews were not very complimentary. My experience was exactly opposite! I enjoyed a very pleasant stay even though it was during the recent Portland snow/ice/high wind event. The staff was very pleasant and professional at check in and throughout my stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast while basic was tasty and there were enough options that if anyone went hungry it was by choice. All in all a very good stay, and cheaper and nicer facility than the price of the hotel across the parking lot where my meetings were held

The hotel is super clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a shuttle to Pdx, when ever you need it. There is a full breakfast each morning. The rooms are comfortable and have plenty of towels. I There is a security guard watching the parking lot, in case you leave your car, while on a trip. It is a little more expensive than the sleazy hotel we have stayed at before, and totally worth it for such a nice place

Very clean. The front reception check-in was welcoming; she was happy to see us, and the check-in process was quick with no issues. Our room was very clean and very quiet when we fell asleep. The bed was very comfortable and I was happy to see a real heavier comforter on top as other places have thin blankets. Will stay here on our next trip.

Great. Comfortable and close to OHSU . Friendly staff. Nice pool and hotub. Parking was kinda expensive. People need to clean up after their dogs. Poop on the siewalks

A wonderful stay both times ive stayed here. Room is plentiful with amenities for both personal and business needs. They offer the ability to sign into streaming services on your tvs in the room which was super nice. All equipment was great. We only had one issue in our stays in which we were immediately able to have looked at and repair called for. When repair was unable to happen we were swiftly moved and upgraded floors. The breakfast is the standard breakfast and is kept orderly and clean by the staff who are super friendly and helpful. Bed are comfortable and bathroom is large and clean, with separation of the toilet and main sink area. This is definitely an option for an extended stay i would highly recommend, not one complaint about cleanliness or noise during the entirety of stays.

Room was very nice and clean. Bed comfortable The bar food at dinner was adequate. The Bar manager was quite friendly and personable. The breakfast bar was very good. Hot and cold food with many options.

Front desk staff member Gillian was exceptional! She was very welcoming, fun and efficient. The hotel is in a great location, close to walking trail, numerous restaurants, and activities along the river. The studio room was very spacious and the bed comfortable.

I’ve stayed here 3 times. Once for business, once for our daughters 14th birthday with some friends, and once with our two younger children and 14 year old. The people here work hard and are friendly and accommodating. You’re out of the way of right down town, but can get places easily. There’s nice restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance and it doesn’t take long to get downtown. The hotel is quiet. The rooms were clean. The pool and spa and workout room are open again and they have a lot more options for breakfast again. Our kids loved it and we will most definitely stay here again!

The property was excellent. The rooms were big enough with 2 queen beds for 4 people. Enjoyed the stay! Value for money with all the facilities such as washer dryer, swimming pool, jacuzzi etc. Just a recommendation they should also keep some Veg options available for breakfast expect from breads.

I don't normally consider HI Express to be the height of luxury, and this hotel wasn't completely that laudable, but close. The employees were all wonderful. They even had someone continually at the breakfast buffet to answer questions and refill promptly. The room was large, clean, quiet and very comfortable. Free parking! I actually searched for that as some of the other downtown hotels had high price tags for parking. There was a great Italian restaurant across the street, Fillmore Trattoria. This was a perfect home base for exploring Portland in a safe, calm area.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff was great. Nye was especially helpful during breakfast. The breakfast was pretty decent, with lots of choices and those great cinnamon rolls. Their coffee maker grinds the beans fresh for every cup. It's in a great location with a number of restaurants, just a few very walkable blocks away.

We stayed for one night and enjoyed our stay very much. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were great and pillows also. Sheets soft. We got a cot for our son and it wasn't comfortable enough for me (could feel springs) but fine for a youth. Different types and sizes of pillows. We used the pool and hot tub and enjoyed it. Breakfast was great for a free hotel breakfast. There was hot food (cheese omelette, bacon, biscuits and gravy- not made to order but hot), typical fridge stuff (hardboiled eggs, chobani yogurt, milk), pancake machine (tasty), lots of different kinds of oatmeal (incl a healthy option, Bob's Red Mill w flax and chia, without sugar!), fruit, warm cinnamon buns, bagels, cereal, etc. Coffee was mediocre according to my husband but I thought it was fine. I was impressed with the range of flavored creamers. I liked the reading room by the reception area with comfy chairs, books, and a roaring fire.

Nice, clean, well appointed and updated. Also nice that everything was open and worked like pool and jacuzzi and television. Breakfast was nice and dining area was updated. Good for the money.

My family stayed here for one night. We arrived around 11:00pm after a long cross-country flight. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and got us checked in very quickly. Our room was large, very clean, and comfortable for our family of four! We felt very safe staying here! We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast in the the morning before we checked out. They had a lot of different types of breakfast foods. The egg white omelets were delicious! My children enjoyed the cinnamon buns!! The woman at the desk during check out was friendly and helpful. If we are ever in the Portland area again, we would definitely stay here!

Staff was super friendly and welcoming and the place was very clean. Breakfast was delicious too! The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet at night. I had such a restful night and comfortable spot I stayed 2 extra days!

Spacious rooms, great location, good value. Free wifi and breakfast. The only negatives were 1) parking fee is steep ($52/day), 2) no area for smokers, even on the outdoor patio, and 3) no jacuzzi/hot tub onsite.

Our king size bed with a sofa bed room was very spacious and had a peekaboo view of Willamette River. The kitchenette was convenient for heating up simple meals or cooking ramen noodles if needed. Complimentary breakfast had nice choices. The hotel is in South Portland, perfect for not being in downtown but yet close enough. We left our car and took the electric bus, which was fun for the kids and perfect for exploring downtown without needing to keep looking for parking. Steven and the rest of the valet team were always friendly and prompt in bringing our car up. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay.

Very nice hotel, clean and friendly staff. Great location, easy walk to waterfront walking trail by river. Lime scooters on walking trail are fun to cruise on. lounge/restaurant was nice, but the seating was not so comfortable. All the seats were hard seats and no comfortable padded seating. Restaurant/snack bar had fast food - typical fried foods and some salads options. Other restaurants within walking. There is some parking on the side of the hotel. Paid parking until 7 pm, then free the rest of the night until early morning 8 or 9 AM . Valet parking is around $50 -ouch. There is a parking garage about 2 blocks away if you don't mind the walk. It was $13 for the night - I think this was a special rate for Sunday evening. Lastly, I felt safe walking around. I would recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was excellent with lots of variety and options for various food needs. Staff were helpful. Our room, which was a double suite, was clean and quiet. The central air was comfortable and quiet. We had lots of space and a kitchen, which seemed well appointed. We hardly used it since breakfast was so good and we chose to eat at nearby restaurants for dinner. Had we wanted to cook, groceries were not nearby, so planning for that in advance would be recommended.

I like how quiet the property is and excellent customer service from front desk and the bar. The rooms are nice and cozy too. I personally didn’t like the dark showers and tiled shower floors because I’m a bit of a germophobe and dark showers make it hard to see the possible gunk trapped in between tiles. But thankfully they had a floor mat to use in the shower. I also wished there were more food options for late night meals or snacks in the area. Besides the convenience snack bar and a small menu from the hotels bar, there’s only a bar with fried food nearby that is walking distance.

Fantastic views, access to dock, balconies, great pool with a lovely temperature. The hot tub was essential and very nice. All right on the river. The restaurant was fantastic! We paid at booking to add breakfast and it was amazing. Full menu and cooked to order. The breakfast burritos, waffles, poached eggs, and omelets were all really top notch. And we chose to eat dinner there both nights as well! The French dip, Mediterranean salad, salmon, caprese and fries were all very delicious! The lemon water in the lobby was an extra nice touch. We really appreciated it. The place feels very welcoming and we would definitely stay here again. Also convenient access to target for any essentials. The staff was extremely attentive. If we needed anything at all, they came immediately! Best service we have had in a decade at hotels! Well done.

We love the Holiday inn Jantzen beach! Big spacious rooms we normally get 2 queen beds. The most comfortable beds and the most delicious food in the restaurant bar and gorgeous views of the Columbia River! The only place we stay while in Portland.

Beautiful view of River. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were taking an American Cruise Line trip and the boat picked us up from the dock behind d the hotel. The restaurant had a varied menu and was pretty good, especially breakfast. Rooms were comfy and spacious. We were concerned about our safety in coming to Portland. The hotel is located on Hayden Island and we felt very safe. Also, the hotel recommended "My Chauffeur" for a Willamette Wine Country Tour, and it was phenomenal!! I highly recommend this company if you want a tour that is tailored to your specific interests and preferences in wine.

The front desk and restaurant staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The room and bathroom were big, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. There were adequate amenities. Housekeeping staff was quick and good. The location was nice, right on the river. Sadly the weather was cold and rainy when we were there so we didn't have a chance to enjoy the view very much. We paid the extra for breakfast which allowed us to order off the full menu for no additional charge. That was a nice surprise. Also parking was ample and convenient.

When I first pulled up to this hotel, I almost decided to change immediately. Forgive me, I should explain simply that the outside of the hotel is a little dated, and sometimes initial impressions can be quite strong. But I was wrong on many levels. The staff were excellent, reception in particular were very helpful whenever I had a query. The lobby has a small 24 hour shop, a large area for seating and a bar and of course the restaurant. My room on the ninth floor, was spacious, had a very comfortable bed and a good view. Internet was sufficiently fast for work, and the bathroom was clean and whilst not extremely modern, the shower provided more than adequate pressure. From this hotel, you are within rapid walking distance of the convention centre, a major transport interchange, a Safeway supermarket, a 7-Eleven, various small local establishments, and of course multiple means of transport to get into town over the bridge. I stayed here for five nights, and took advantage of breakfast on every day, so a special shout out to the breakfast team and above all to Ivan who always greeted us with a smile. It’s the little things and the staff interactions that make all the difference when you travel a lot. The surrounding neighbourhood can be a little challenging at times, but in general I found it to be extremely quiet, with minimum interruptions and I felt largely safe. I certainly would return here if I had business again in Portland

Very nice, clean facility with friendly and helpful staff. Love the room set up, noise is kept to a minimum. A good selection in the convenience store. The coffee bar in the morning offered good coffee and the foods at the restaurant were also tasty. Areas of potential improvement: the thermostat is centrally controlled and turned off over night the first night dropping my room down to 62. The staff did adjust the temperature after this. There is a "night light" plug that is constantly on right next to the bed and is very bright (this would be good in the bathroom, not next to the bed). The mattress was a bit old and saggy in the middle.

The most amazing part of my stay here was the staff. The gentleman at the front desk when I arrived (I believe his name was Randee, but I am not positive), was so helpful and kind, and saw to my every need. He was there most of the time when I went to the front desk. In every instance, he went out of his way to help me with travel accommodations and other things. I just can’t say enough about his assistance and kindness. The hotel was very clean and appealing. My room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable and nice. The restaurant was also very nice. Everything was so clean and charming, and the food was very good. The staff, again, treated me like royalty.

Great hotel, safe and very central. Amazing staff - Mohammad at Front desk was amazing and very cordial. Everything was superb! Glad I am a IHG member! Room sizes are big and spacious. Eggs Benedict was superb too. Housekeeping has to be told if the room needs cleaning if you are staying for more than one day. They do need a reminder / nudge but the front desk staff is amazing amazing!

I wouldnt say unsafe but it is very dark all around the property. Other than a pretty decent stay. Also pool/hottub and sauna are open to 11. So a lil later than most.

The lobby was beautiful, business area was large, the dining area was good, and the atmosphere was nice i had a jacuzzi room and it worked perfectly and helped my chronic pain issues.

The breakfast is lovely with a wide selection. They have vegetarian omelets with potatoes and salsa, waffles, hard boiled eggs, bagels, cereal, yogurts, fruits and fruit juices, tea, and coffee. The rooms are comfortable, very clean, and elegant. Space for romping, watching a show with pizza. Also very quiet with desk, pen, and hotel for working out that occasional business idea and deal with your partner. Excellent pool and jacuzzi, very clean, never in disrepair. Hotel staff is on it, runs a tight and smooth ship; also extremely laid back and friendly. The Round Table delivered to us and one of the.best pizzas I'd had from there ever. We had an awesome time and are now frequent visitors whenever we need a place to stay in the neighborhood. Thank you!

This hotel provided a comfortable and convenient stay. Some of the room furnishings are a bit dated but it is clean and it is nice to have a kitchenette and living room space. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast offered many choices and was more attractively arranged than many chain hotels. I especially like the option to make a breakfast burrito. Staff at front desk was helpful. Someone in the floor above woke us up at 3:30 am when they departed the hotel so the hotel is not particularly sound proof, but unfortunately this is pretty typical of modern hotel construction.

Awesome getting breakfast before starting the long trip ahead that we had. Tasty sandwiches, coffee and fruit etc. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful! We were stranded due to a storm and everyone there was so nice and helpful. They even offered to drive us to the airport in the middle of a storm. The bed was comfortable, the room was cozy and clean. We had a great stay especially considering the circumstances of why we were there! Would definitely stay again. They had a nice looking hot tub too, wish we weren't too tired from traveling to use it!

We spent about 10 days here recently. The staff was great, friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and fresh. We had a two burner cooktop, full size fridge, dishwasher, sink, and a stocked kitchenette with dishes, cookware, and cutlery. Our bed was ridiculously comfortable. WiFi worked well. Our only complaint is the conduct of guests at the pool. Loud, boisterous people with blaring music getting drunk, kids allowed to dive in the pool, fighting between kids, shouting, throwing basketballs in the pool, all sorts of obnoxious behavior. It only takes a few inconsiderate parents to make it unpleasant for everyone else.

We are very picky on our hotels and usually do not do reviews. We stayed 4 nights. Location was convenient. The HOT breakfast buffet was great! Good selection of breakfast choices. The room was very clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff from front desk to dining staff.

We stayed just one night to break up our travel. This hotel was more than comfortable and accommodating. They had a sheet that listed many restaurant choices for dinner. Which is so helpful when you don't know the town. When we had left the next day, we realized we left a pillow. The hotel called us later in the afternoon asking if we wanted to have it shipped home. We are going home the same way, so we will pick it up then. That was very kind.

Everything about this hotel was excellent! My teenage son and I stayed here for our first night we arrived in Portland and came back to stay a second time! My son loved the game room where we played pool in the evening while I enjoyed a perfect margarita from the bar. Every staff member we encountered was super friendly and polite. Eric was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and we both loved and appreciated all the interesting artwork. The soap and shampoo smelled wonderful as well. There was even an amazing coffee shop across the street with fabulous espresso drinks and bakery items. We parked in the garage across the street which was very safe and clean as well. I wish we had planned on spending more time in Portland so that we could stay here for more than two night, that is how comfortable and special this hotel is! I hope to return again.

Very nice hotel, especially for the price! Rooms are comfortable and have been thoughtfully renovated. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The food at the in-house restaurant is seriously SO good! There’s a nice little bar and a fun game room that’s open until 11pm. It’s very hip, as you’d expect from a Portland boutique-like hotel. Great location downtown Portland, walkable to shopping and restaurants. However it’s fairly sketchy, especially after dark, so keep that in mind.

I love this hotel. It is a great boutique hotel in a neighborhood on the precipice of being trendy. It’s overall well done as the staff pays attention to the little things that make a difference. First, breakfast with Moira excellent service, laid back and made our dining experience really enjoyable. She discovered I’m a walker and provided hidden walking treasures to explore while we’re here for the week. Over the top service + excellent food. Eggs Benedict with a side of mushrooms reduced in red wine oh my! The bar, RJ made me one of the best Old Fashioned I’ve ever had. RJ, provides exceptional service and encourages you to stay at the bar. So good. Finally, AJ all around Mister fix it, bus boy and anything that needs to be done he’s a really nice young man who embraces hospitality. I can’t wait to see where he’s going to be in five years. I’m hoping he is seen and appreciated. He does lots of little things to make staying her exceptional. Our room, so cute and comfortable befitting a boutique hotel with a bonus spa tub! Don’t past go stay at this hotel. It’s close to everything and super special.

The variety of lights and comfortable seats and couches around the room and hotel was actually very nice. I never thought that I'd enjoy lamps and sofas like I did here. Hotel staff and crew are all very friendly and try their best to be as helpful as possible. The bar is also a friendly and relaxing spot - I'd visit again just to chill by the bar.

We had a great room with two queen beds. Beds were comfy, room spacious bathroom had everything you needed. Couldn’t hear your neighbors either! David checked us in. We got in late with a big delay in Dallas. Everybody was helpful - Ryan and Ben, Masaki and Brooklyn were really nice and made us feel so comfortable. Answered our questions and if we needed anything they were readily available. We had trouble with the AC and they got us some fans. We would definitely stay there again. My husband and I were there for a wedding. We walked everywhere and felt safe. We even took a bus out to Cannon Beach. We were there from Thursday night to Monday morning, but we made the most of it! Kimpton Hotel Vintage Portland, you have a wonderful staff! Made us really feel welcome and relaxed. Thank you! Oh, the gentlemen that worked on our AC unit tried to get it working were very nice too! Can’t remember everybody’s name. There were three of them. One may be Eric. But we appreciate them trying!

Very clean, very nice, welcoming staff. Breakfast was really good. We stay at comfort inns when traveling all the time and our favorite part is always the waffles. The hotel is pet friendly and our room was clean you couldn’t even tell other pets stay there before which I say because the last hotel before this one was beat up and just a tightened up room kinda gross. We walked and had dinner at the restaurant next door and it was delicious too. Would definitely recommend

I really enjoyed my stay here. While there isn’t a lot in the immediate vicinity (though Black Angus is right next door), it’s still in a convenient part of Vancouver, next to the highway which allows quick access to Portland or Downtown Vancouver. My room was clean and comfortable, and I didn’t notice any noises outside or from other rooms, so falling asleep was no issue. They included a complimentary breakfast which has a nice selection of items. A minor suggestion that the hotel could benefit from some renovations to enhance its charm further. Additionally, a reduction in single-use plastics could align with eco-conscious practices, although these are minor considerations in an otherwise wonderful experience. A special shout out to the staff, Abby and Destiny, as well as the woman who maintained the breakfast area. All were incredibly nice, professional, and helpful. This is a great option in Vancouver for the price and I would definitely stay here again.

We sort of got trapped by a winter storm and didn't want to drive home 2.5 hours after a harrowing drive in to drop family off near PDX. All the hotels near the airport were booked, so we drove across the river and chose this Comfort Inn to stay at. The front desk guy was very nice and super helpful when we asked if they had availability and also set us up with a couple of complementary toothbrushes/paste as we didn't have that with us. The room was clean, quiet and just what was needed. In the morning we ate the breakfast provided. It's your typical complimentary breakfast. Not a restaurant and not too bad. It got us going. When we stepped outside, we were glad we stayed - it was a whopping 18 degrees at 8AM. Brrr! Chances are, we won't stay in Vancouver again overnight, but if we did, I think we'd seek this hotel out.

Very clean and decent-sized room. Had problems with the Television, but front desk was prompt to resolve the problem. Buffet breakfast was sufficient but the way it was set up was a little strange. Coffee service, beverage, and cereal bar at the end of the room and a hot Buffet on the opposite side of the room. Loved the ice water in the front desk area. Very nice steakhouse next door to the hotel. Not too far from the Riverfront walk. We enjoyed our stay.

Very friendly staff, we checked in really late and they were super nice and welcoming. The hotel is older but very clean. The room was nice and clean. It can be updated as far as decor, but it is fine. They have a breakfast that is very nice and they also offer EV charging if you need it. It is a great place to stay for the price and you can walk to the waterfront and Ester short park. Not fancy but clean and nice.

Very new hotel (opened in Fall 2021), modern. clean, with large rooms with seating area, comfortable beds and large bathrooms with modern showers. Free HBO. Lounge bar area in the lobby. The location is in a sort of corporate business park area, so there is not a lot in terms of restaurants or other amenities, but there is a breakfast diner and a sports bar both within close walking distance and a shopping center with a Fred Meyer and other things just down the street (walkable in about 15 minutes). Close enough to the freeway for Portland or the Oregon Coast but far enough away that it's quiet.

This is my first time staying at a AC Hotel. We came for holiday and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very good, modern, lobby is nicely decorated, clean, spacious, sleek.. We paid $10 for a buffet Breakfast with a la carte hot item (French toast with strawberry & berries) or open toast with eggs, cheese and ham. breakfast is simple but good, the hotel item is tasty.. Staff is friendly and helpful. Lift/elevator is spacious than the normal size so you don’t have to squeeze in with luggages and others. Our family of us is very happy with our stay. Very value for $$

Newer property that has roomy, spacious rooms, modern amenities, great bar, breakfast selection - costs $15 whole dollars - for what you get it is a deal, and very friendly staff - Specially Angel the AGM was helpful; Joe, Ronni and Halley at the bar were awesome (great drinks!); Aries the night audit was super friendly; Kathy and Abby in the breakfast area was fantastic!

The room we had (2 queen, wheelchair accessible with tub) was spacious and clean. The room is well designed for a wheelchair user and the beds are low for an easy transfer. The bathroom, too, works well for a wheelchair user. The refrigerator in the room is quite small and there is no microwave. There is a lounge with a tapas menu and a bar. The location is great - close to everything in Beaverton and right near highway 26, minutes to Portland. There is a good amount of handicapped parking in the lot, right next to the front door. The wheelchair level portion of the check-in desk has a huge decorative item on it and no credit card machine (so basically they are not using it for what it is supposed to be used for at all). Most of the staff were friendly and professional, with the exception of the front desk staff. The only friendly and professional person working at the front desk was the woman who checked us out. You can hear your neighbors. It is not a quiet hotel. That really did not bother us so much and the noise we heard during our stay was not excessive. I can see how it could be, though, depending on who you have staying in the rooms around you. We did not eat the breakfast offered ($15 per person).

Great stay in AC Beaverton! Hotel was very clean and convenient. Modern furnishings and easy breakfast (extra cost). No dinner in the hotel but there are plenty of options nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!!!!!

I stayed here as a solo traveler for 2 nights and had a great experience. The check in and out process was easy and quick. This is a well-lit property located in a quiet and safe area of town, conveniently near the airport. Staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. The room was exactly as pictured. It was big with modern, comfortable furniture, and updated fixtures. The room was very clean and everything was in working order. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. I loved the amenities and the free parking. There was also complementary breakfast with good hot and cold options. I would definitely stay here again. I think I made a great choice at an affordable price.

Clean and friendly with a decent breakfast. Couple of fast food options near by for dinner. The check in host recommended a sports bar nearby, so that's where I went. I'd have preferred the fast food options. The bar was not clean or overly friendly.

Picked this one using several review sites for the free airport shuttle and breakfast for my one Sunday night stay. Price was reasonable to me at about $120 prepaid and AMEX deal. Checked in about 7ish. The hotel had a system upgrade so had to wait about 20 minutes but the front desk woman was apologetic. Picked a room at the top third floor. Elevator worked. Has a water fountain with filter to fill up a bottle. First floor bathrooms do require a key and were nice. I had a room with comfy king bed with four pillows, desk with chair, comfy sitting chair, ottoman where I put my luggage, blackout curtains. Smart tv with cable and apps like Netflix. Fridge and keurig but did not use. Plug and USB charging options at the desk and one night stand. Shower had good pressure. Bathroom had a fan - stayed in hotels that don’t have these! Night lights at the door and bathroom. Had to wear a night mask for I’m sensitive to light when sleeping. Breakfast was good! Liked the hot options and good variety including biscuits and gravy - beats buying and waiting in line at the airport. Caught shuttle 30 minutes earlier than my original ask and I was the only other person on the shuttle. Promptly left on time. Used text to communicate with the property about a question on smart tv and they responded. Happy with hotel and would stay again. Did hear my neighbor snoring. Wonder if they could hear my loud tv.

Staff was super friendly. Property was clean and up to date. I liked that they had cold breakfast food out at 4am. The last few places I have stayed at didn’t start any breakfast food unit 6 am. I had a 5:25 am flight to catch so early breakfast was great.

Clean,new, and comfortable. "Cold breakfast" from 4-6am for early departures and hot breakfast 6-9am. Shuttles to airport leave on time. Bed was comfortable and a little high but front desk had step stool for 4'10' wife.

We stayed here for two nights. The location is good if you want to be downtown, although there's not much of interest in the immediate neighborhood. But we were upgraded to a room with a water view, and that was wonderful--truly gorgeous views of the river and the mountain. The room itself is a bit on the small side, especially the bathroom, and it's clearly an older property although the decor has been updated. Everything was clean and comfortable, and noise levels were surprisingly low. The AC was annoying, though--it either blasted the room to Arctic levels or was off. All of the staff were very friendly. We were offered water bottles at check-in, a nice touch. The breakfast place is good for a quick bite and the bar/restaurant isn't bad. They do charge a $25/day "destination fee," but at least you get some value for it: a $25/day food credit, whiskey tasting, art museum tickets, and some other things.

Right in the heart of downtown Portland, OR. Great hotel choice overlooking the Willamette River. My room had a view of the river plus a long distance view of Mt. Hood. The weather was great so there were plenty of people walking by the river. The room was nicely updated and comfortable. Great attention by housekeeping. The M Lounge on the 3rd floor had a very nice spread during breakfast and in the evening. Plenty of drink choices were available. The hotel has a couple choices for eating. I was unable to take advantage. I walked a few blocks for dinner. It's best to plan out which direction you'll be heading before you venture out.

Nice hotel on the Willamette river in downtown Portland. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. I liked the location of the hotel because it was in walking distance of the Waterfront Park Trail, the Portland Saturday Market and downtown restaurants and bars. There is a bit of a homeless problem in downtown Portland, but I never felt unsafe or threatened. My wife and I would walk everywhere during the day and take an Uber at night. For day trips I recommend the Columbia River Gorge Waterfalls Tour, Haystack Rock on Cannon Beach, the Timberline Lodge on Mount Hood.

We could even clearly hear the bands at the Blues Festival. Air conditioning and no crowds. The hotel was nice. Parking was a bit pricey. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel was conveniently located across the street from the Vancouver Wine & Jazz festival. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant and bar with excellent food and the best employees! The hotel provides room service for in-room meals. The security is great and we felt safe. The room was clean and comfortable. Parking is available (per day charge) and easily accessed from the lower level garage. The location of the hotel is in walking distance to restaurants and the waterfront. We never had to drive during our 3 night stay. The hotel staff are courteous and polite and promptly attended to our service requests. Although the hotel room had a coffee pot and complimentary coffee pods, there is a small coffee shop/kiosk on the lobby level selling coffee, snacks, other refreshments.

Nice upscale hotel centrally located in downtown Vancouver and within walking distance to restaurants, shops, the waterfront, and other events and activities like the farmers market and the wine & jazz festival at the park which is across the street from the hotel. Nice indoor pool. Lovely restaurant serving great food; breakfast, lunch and dinner and a bar is directly adjacent to this hotel. Very nice restaurant staff. Starbucks coffee shop is located in the lobby area. Great security all around the building as well as in the garage. We felt very safe in this hotel. Everything was nice and clean. Nice hotel staff, and they were very accommodating. Easy access to the freeway.

The bed was extra comfortable. The location was great, we were close to lots of amazing restaurants, bars, and COFFEE shops. The staff were great and very helpful. The hotel itself was clean and well maintained.

Spacious and very clean room with huge patio balcony looking over the park. Bed was very comfortable with assortment of pillows. Quiet. Plenty of parking in garage below hotel. We initially did not receive the room type we reserved, but the front desk associate found us the correct room type and moved us once it was ready. We very much appreciated that. Breakfast in the onsite restaurant was great! It's a quick and easy walk to the beautiful Vancouver Waterfront.

Excellent experience. Employees are awesome. So friendly and welcoming. Restaurant is very good. Food is very good and presentation is very nice. Valet parking worked well for us. The hotel had everything I wanted; nice room, comfortable bed, pool/hot tub, breakfast, gym. The pool was by reservation, which worked out fine. The gym was perfect and 24-hour access. Breakfast was good, coffee was fresh. Everything was wonderful!

We had a very pleasant stay at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Portland Vancouver. Even though we stayed just one night, everything was clean, comfortable, and well-organized. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was peaceful — perfect for a relaxing night. The room was spacious and well-appointed, and we appreciated the little touches that made our stay even more comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area!

They are just completing a remodel. That said the only negative I experienced was the granite on the check in counter wasn’t installed yet and it was wood when I checked it. Doesn’t bother me! Room I had was freshly remodeled, you even had a faint smell of fresh paint! Room was clean, modern. Breakfast was typical SpringHill affair with the waffle machine. The kids loved it though! Pool was open and enjoyable. AC worked well but was a little loud. A plus was the second bed was a pull out trundle type hidden under the sofa. I didn’t personally sleep on it but I would imagine that would be more comfortable than the folding pull out types. Also it’s close to a nice park if you got kids in tow.

This hotel was amazing. I absolutely love staying here. I will definitely be back great pricing for the room and amazing staff. This hotel has been very recently renovated. You can still smell the new carpet. The staff was very friendly and responsive. The breakfast was good. The room was clean and quite comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean rooms with mini fridge and microwave. Spacious enough for us and the two teenagers. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The pool was warm and the jacuzzi was nice too. The continental breakfast was awesome and we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay there again!

Overall clean property and very affordable. I love that breakfast is served. I enjoyed going to the jacuzzi.

WOW! What a Great Surprise – Loved Our Stay! My daughter and I were in Portland for an overnight and were looking for a budget-friendly, safe, and easily accessible hotel. We were honestly just hoping for “good enough,” but this place exceeded our expectations! Everything was clean, updated, and welcoming—from the lobby and hallways to the rooms, parking lot, and pool area. The décor was bright and modern, and we immediately felt comfortable. The pool and hot tub were spotless and at the perfect temperature—and even better, they’re open 24 hours! There’s also a little private patio off the pool area that looked relaxing, though we didn’t get a chance to use it. We missed the free breakfast (slept in!), but the coffee was excellent and gave us the perfect start to our morning. The staff was outstanding—the front desk ladies were friendly, professional, well-groomed, and genuinely welcoming. They made check-in a breeze and made us feel right at home. Great job, La Quinta! This was a hidden gem of a stay, and we will definitely be back.
