Awesome place with a jacuzzi and a large firepit/BBQ , sat in the jacuzzi with a glass of wine looking up at the star's. Lovely walk around the private lake, rather magical.

The place is nice and cosy with everything you need for a nice time outside (firepit, jacuzzi, picnic table, tennis rackets, ...) The hosts are discrete and helpful The location is nice, beautiful valley view, near Devil's Bridge

The location was perfect, private and peaceful. The pod had everything we needed and the hosts went above and beyond , even leaving us cake and milk and explaining everything. The hottub and firepit made it even better.

Stunning property, great location, great hosts and hottub was wonderful. Lacking just a few things that we'd expect from such a good quality glamping stay, but it wouldnt stop us returning.

You definitely need more than one night in this cozy little Wigwam—it was absolutely worth it. The view is stunning, and I loved the low-lying fog in the morning while sipping tea and dunking my Welsh cakes. Everything felt very clean, and the bedding smelled fresh. There’s no WiFi, so try to unplug and stay off your phone—though I didn’t do the best job of that. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and I really appreciated them accommodating me with an extra 30 minutes. I 100% recommend it. My only regret is not staying longer.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel! The house was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay.

What didn’t I like about this property?! It was perfect. Perfect views, friendly and welcoming hosts and everything was high standard.

Warm, clean, pleasant and comfortable. Lovely bed. Very quiet which was perfect and lovely views. And I was left alone!! Not that I'm particularly anti-social - I just really wanted some quality peace and quiet.

The room was lovely, bed and bathroom lovely. Everything we needed was there, including plenty of free parking.and a lovely pub nearby for dinner, plus a crafts centre cafe next to that for a cosy breakfast. Views of farm animals and wildlife from our window.

I found the room comfortable and of high quality. The environment was clean, quiet and peaceful.

Absolutely fantastic house. The property was super clean, same for the room. We loved the big bathroom, I wish I could take it home with me 😄. We didn't have breakfast, but there is an option of a breakfast basket. There are also spaces to relax and a conservatory dining room. Walking distance to a local pub and a quick 10min drive to a bigger city with all the amenities that you need. It was a flying visit for us, so cannot comment on any nearby attractions or places to see as we did not explore. Honestly, couldn't fault the stay.

Without warning we were upgraded from the 1 bed ground floor apartment we had booked to the 3 bed first floor apartment with a balcony. The place was so beautiful, spacious, clean, modern but with lovely details to the building. The extra space was a real luxury and spending time relaxing in the lounge with the doors opened onto the balcony was great and unexpected. The kitchen had all the equipment you need, plently of towels in the bathroom and toiletries to use if needed. Will definitely be coming again! We cannot praise this place enough!

I booked for Llys Celyn but on arrival had been upgraded to a much more enormous and luxurious apartment in the same complex. Amazing.

We had a beautiful ground floor apartment in a beautiful building. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed was huge and very comfy. The living room area was a good size and very comfortable and the apartment was nice and toasty when we arrived. You couldn't beat the location and private parking also.

very clean, comfortable, and accommodating! Good location, Mr Davies the owner was super friendly and ensured we had everything we needed! good kitchenette, basic resources such as cutlery, plates and bowls, and BBQ tools! Gas BBQ which was great, fridge with small compartment freezer and very comfortable! hot tub was the icing on the cake - not even the rain stopped us from having the best stay. booked again for September we can’t wait to return!

The location was relatively easy to find, located in a quiet area (no noisy roads nearby etc.), with plenty of parking space. We were upgraded from the log cabin to the cottage which was very clean, comfortable, had WIFI, and all of the facilities (and more) included with the log cabin booking. We were very impressed and would definitely recommend the property to others and stay again in the future.

The property had a lovely family home feel, and the room was lovely and very spacious. I especially loved the armchairs overlooking the bay window to the sea! The room was very comfortable and very clean, and had a lovely selection of tea and coffee making products (lots of milk which was very appreciated for a two night stay!). There was an iron in the room which was perfect as we stayed for my boyfriends graduation. Communication with Gareth was great and he was very helpful. The location is perfect as it’s still in the town centre, but away from any noisy bars etc, so I would definitely recommend it! And just a stones throw from the beach. We will definitely stay again

Easy access, lovely fresh, warm and clean accommodation. Good sized room, bright clean bathroom with hot shower. Dog friendly. Just off sea front so easy to get to front and restaurants. Although no breakfast available we appreciated the plentiful tea/coffee and cookies. Good recommendations for breakfast within walking distance. Council car park opposite, 24 hours £6.60.

Exceptional. Stunning property, beautiful room, tastefully decorated - clearly a lot of thought and attention to detail had gone into creating a relaxing and welcoming environment, seated bay window area with views across to the hills, extremely comfortable bed, crisp linen, spotlessly clean bathroom. Faultless. Promenade and beach less than one minute’s walk. Easy self check-in & check out. Highly recommend.

Everything as usual was perfect. I've stayed in at least of the rooms now and all are consistently good. Everything you would expect. Clean, fresh, spacious, great tv and channels. HDMI ability. Comfortable beds. Quiet environment. Parking is/easy. Access to beach 100m away. Can't fault it..

The building has been beautifully and thoughtfully restored, using quality fittings and furnishings. The staff that we interacted with were great, friendly, helpful and human. I had a phone call before we arrived to check our room requirements, the staff upgraded us to a suite to ensure we had sufficient space. The room was indeed spacious, and it was quiet, and we had amazing views over the gorge. The bathroom is well thought out, with the shower controls away from the rainfall head, avoiding getting a soaking before turning on the shower. The main bed was large and comfortable, with high quality duvet and pillows. The towels were big and fluffy. There is a sofa and large T.V with tables in the sitting zone, and drinks making facilities available, we enjoyed the complimentary rather yummy shortbread. We sat in the bar and had a drink, we found it welcoming and comfortable, we dined in the restaurant, and had a really good breakfast. We most certainly want to return. Perfect location for exploring the Bridge and gorge and going to Aberystwyth on the little train. If you do go, be sure to check out the little chocolate shop opposite the train station, they hand make their own chocolates!

The Hafod hotel was an absolute pleasure. Our room was well appointed, the bathroom and shower luxurious, in-room facilities excellent and the bed very comfortable and well sprung. The staff were friendly and efficient. We had dinner and breakfast included with the booking and were pleasantly surprised with both meals. Although slightly limited in choice dinner was beautifully presented and cooked to a high standard. The restaurant was situated in the annex overlooking the picturesque forested valley. Breakfast was served in a separate breakfast room and, again, beautifully presented. We took full advantage of the surrounding countryside, especially the famed Devils Bridge Gorge, to complete our stay. Excellent.

Lovely room, biggest bath I've ever seen! Friendly staff. Had a suite and had views of the waterfalls all be it far away, comfortable bed, supplied with various tea/coffee and hot chocolate in room! Sitting in the room and hearing the waterfalls is very relaxing! Breakfast area and guest dining area was very nicely spaced out with an excellent selection of fresh fruit for breakfast, nothing seemed liked tinned, better breakfast menu than expected too with choice of juices! Good outside seating if the weather permits overlooking the waterfalls

The staff couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and obliging. The room was lovely, beautifully clean and comfortable, with fantastic views. The bathroom was modern and immaculate `and the shower was excellent. The food was fantastic - both dinner and breakfast being really high quality. I really can't think of a better place to stay and felt we got very good value for money.

Greg and Katrina were so friendly, wanted to help in all aspects of our stay from dinner to breakfast and room. Comfortable rooms>> The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. The style and decoration of the hotel fits into the countryside, and Welsh culture ♥️ Greg provided a sandwich for my trek, and the staff accommodated a large trekking group of around 50 women with tea and Welsh cakes. We know it's hard to manage larger groups. The staff smiled and continued to provide a great service under pressure. This was an amazing end to a great trek! Thank you 👏

Stayed there for 3 nights (Sunday 9 to Wednesday 12 June) in Room 23 - first class sea view and spacious and comfortable room with bath/shower. Handy for promenade, beach and town centre. Hotel had free parking at the back which was a bonus. Excellent breakfast menu and lovely fresh hot cooked breakfast. Spacious dining room downstairs. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Lady with glasses on reception was lovely and passed the “time of day” with us on several occasions during our stay. Breakfast staff on all days were also good. In all, a lovely stay. Thank you.

The room was comfortable and spacious, the shower room was compact but modern and clean. The view was fantastic being right on the seafront and there were chairs well positioned to enjoy this. The staff were all friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed the variety of tasty food on offer and the relaxing environment also. We parked on arrival and didn't need the car at all during our stay as we were well positioned for the town, theatre, restaurants and local walks.

The Proprietor runs an excellent Hotel. Our room was absolutely CLEAN, great location in Aberystwyth Wales near downtown and restaurants. Water view with quiet street. Our Room number 5 was generous size with a lovely view from within the room and a comfortable lobby with views. The waves can put you to sleep too. Breakfast was generous with a starting buffet and many choices from a large menu which should please anyone. Several restaurants within easy walking distance. We will stay there again when in Aberystwyth Wales. You could walk to Aberystwyth pier or downtown Aberystwyth. It is a University town so there are a lot of restaurants.

A real traditional hotel with space and comfort at its heart. The staff were very friendly and helpful, offering to carry the luggage up to our room, and efficient in finding our reservation and allocating our room. The room was spacious and had a lovely bay window overlooking the sea and promenade, with a table and comfy chairs you can relax in and watch the world go by. The room was clean, had good lighting so reading was easy and comfortable. The bathroom was large with a full length bath and shower, with plenty of hot water and large white towels. Breakfast was included in our booking and very good, with three selections of prepared fresh fruit as well as the usual juices, yoghurts and cereals. The cooked part of the breakfast was freshly made, with quality, juicy bacon and fried bread with all the usual options as well. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future.

My first time staying at the Richmond Hotel and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was lovely to be right on the seafront and handy to be such a short walk to the station, shops and restaurants. All of the staff were friendly, welcoming, attentive and helpful from the moment I arrived and throughout my stay. I was delighted with my room: spotlessly clean, well equipped, comfy bed, excellent shower. Superb breakfast - very good selection of freshly prepared fruit to choose from, and a very nice vegetarian cooked breakfast to follow. I would definitely return.

The room was exceptionally clean and very spacious. The bed and all the linens, including the pillows, were spotless. The bathroom was also well-maintained, with fresh towels and thoughtful extras like shower caps and a non-slip bath mat. The shower was absolutely amazing. I genuinely enjoyed using it. I also appreciated that they provided natural shower gel, shampoo, and hand soap, which was a big plus for me. The room was quiet too, making it easy to get a good night's sleep.

The hotel is modern and our room was clean and comfortable. There was no issue with overnight noise. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The prices in the bar/restaurant are very reasonable too.

We've stayed her a number of times. It's so comfortable- the rooms are clean and welcoming, the beds are super comfortable, the bathrooms are spotless. There is everything you need. The hosts are really helpful. It's an ideal house, with a great kitchen for making drinks, or eating meals. The lounge is great for relaxing. It has easy parking, is 2 minutes from the seafront and is near lots of restaurants, bars and shops. I would really recommend staying there and it would be my first choice when we visit again. Great location, lovely comfy bed albeit small, could bear the sounds of the ocean outside & a stones throw from coffee shops, beach, gift shop, theatre. Great facilities, lovely shower & funky decor. Friendly helpful staff when encountered, tea, coffee and herbal tea and also milk was readily available as well as a little garden to sit out in with pleasant sea sounds. Great to be able to park on the drive too. Despite the room being especially tiny, the mattress was extraordinarily comfy and luxurious.

Beautiful & super clean guest house. We stayed in the double room with private bathroom which was in the attic - plenty of room, cute interiors, well presented & super clean. The guest house is situation in the ideal location with parking on the drive & close to everything you need e.g. restaurants, bars, local shops & sightseeing. It is on a street parallel to the beach front. Owner was so helpful even before our stay providing us with information on best restaurants & things to do. This is all also provided in the welcome back but great to know beforehand for planning. Would 100% recommended if staying in Aberystwyth!

Wow, what an amazing place! Not only was the bedroom beautiful, but the living room and kitchen that we were allowed to use were also very spacious and attractive. The whole place has been decorated with so many little features - that are stunning and make the place feel so welcoming! The room was warm, dark and quiet night, and the bed is very comfortable. I had a brilliant night of sleep! the shower was very good, plus smart TV in the room and tea/coffee in the kitchen.

Everything about this place is wonderful. Spotlessly clean and like staying in a show home. One road back from the seafront and the Main Street so restaurants, bars and beach 1 minute away but no evening noise. Small garden with seating and wood burner. Fully equipped kitchen and beds to sink in to. Bathrooms spotless too with big comfortable towels and bath robes.

Great communication prior to arrival. Very warm welcome from the owner. Room (single) was a good size , nice and light and airy due to the ceiling height and long window. Shower room was in good order and again good for my stay. Had everything I needed for that night. Nice and quiet once the evening came. Had an evening meal and that was perfect. Waiter was attentive and friendly, yet professional. Breakfast was great, set me up for day and was very tasty. Bar area was cosy and felt like a really nice locals bar everyone very friendly. Right on the Cambrian Way and a bus stop near by so suited my stay.

A great traditional hotel in a rural location near Devil's bridge and on the Glyndwr Way. The staff were were friendly, professional and helpful. The food for dinner and breakfast was very good. We were walking the Glyndwr Way and the hotel provided a great overnight stay with a comfortable room, nice little bar (with a pool table and dart board) and some welcome tasty food. Although we didn't use the outside space (due to rain), the hotel has an attractive small beer garden with some fantastic views on the hills.

I was so pleased to be able to book this hotel when my original cancelled at short notice. The George Borrow is a lovely place to stay with very friendly and welcoming staff and a homely atmosphere. Everywhere was clean and tidy. My room was perfect for me with a great shower. The breakfast was really tasty as were the evening meals which I had both evenings. I really enjoyed them and thought they were good value too. There was a good selection of drinks in the bar which also had a tv and pool table.

This was exactly what we wanted. Remote location, fab little bar and super friendly owners and locals. Rooms were comfy and very clean with tea/coffee making facilities. Lovely nice powerful shower and nice big bath towels. Breakfast is a must! So much choice and if you opt for the full English it's all freshly cooked and lovely quality produce. Definitely will be returning, an absolute gem of a find if you are looking to stay out of the hustle and bustle of towns and cities.

This is a great, family run hotel and we are very happy we found it. All the staff were very friendly (and funny), the evening meal and breakfast were superb, the real ale was great and the log fire in the bar made it an extremely comfortable evening with the locals. Our room was located at the back of the hotel so was very quiet and had a lovely mountain view. We could just hear the waterfall at the back of the garden. They had great facilities for mountain biking, lock up and drying room. Perfect!

Breakfast was very good as was the spa which has a really good pool, sauna and stream room. There is a jacuzzi but you have to pay for that. It's a well maintained, and clean resort with friendly staff. The room was spacious and comfortable

The lady at reception was fantastic. Friendly, happy and answered anything I asked. Our family room was large, with a double bed, single bed and double sofa bed. A small kitchen area with kettle, fridge and microwave was there also. I made use of the indoor swimming pool also. There was a £1 charge for the jacuzzi, which I didn't use. The pool was warm and not busy when I was there.

Very well maintained, spacious, on a large and immaculate golf course. Rooms were comfortable - our family room had 2 beds and a sofa bed, microwave, large fridge, kitchen sink. Bedding was ample and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Swimming pool had an adequate changing room (to be refreshed later this year), decent pool, sauna and steam room, and a coin-operated jacuzzi. Booking time slots were used to ensure the pool was never crowded. Breakfast was the best we have ever had in a hotel - generous and well made. Also tried the restaurant for dinner when a local neighbourhood event was being held - food and service were still great despite the crowd. The location is brilliant to explore Mid Wales, half an hour to New Quay and Aberystwyth. We will gladly come here again on our next holiday. Maybe next time we will also try the beautiful independent lodges on the other side of the golf course (also part of the same property)

We had a two night stay myself my mum and two of my children The Welsh breakfast we all had was lovely both mornings , with choice of cereal too or toast and jams etc Also Tea, coffee and 3 different types of breakfast juices We also had some of the main meals, I wanted the battered fish but they didn’t have any that day so I chose the gammon was lovely would of been nice with mash as a option , kids meals were good. Small Games room could be updated but we had fun all the same but need money £1 coins mainly and no cash points (atm)around so take money with you Pool was ok my kids enjoyed it ,I enjoyed the steam room and sauna but have to make sure you have a £1 coin for jacuzzi which was lovely but had to wait for people to get out that were sitting in it not being used but there was a small sign to tell people but no one around to make sure. The room was basic the bathroom was most updated part but not for disabled or elderly. But overall we enjoyed it i would stay more closer to Aberystwyth though next time as this park was more for golfing I appreciated the lovely fire you had put in and the map of wales on the wall

My stay at the Brig y don, was exceptional, the hosts Linda and Nigel where very welcoming. From the moment I arrived I knew I had picked an excellent place to stay. The room was clean bright and well decorated, with an outstanding view of the bay, there is a television. There where tea coffee making facilities, bara brith, filtered water and biscuits, the bed was very comfortable and I had a great night's sleep.The bathroom was clean, light and well maintained, with a good shower. Linda made an outstanding breakfast, it was honestly exceptional and would highly recommend. I could not fault my stay here and nor would I want to, it was incredible and just what I needed, there was no pressure, everything was oriented toward the guest, Linda and Nigel made my time there, relaxed and secure, they were very helpful and accommodating. The view was amazing. Everyone was really welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was superb and loved the organic items, I had an english breakfast that was not greasy at all which was perfect. The area was quiet too, so there was no disturbances when sleeping. Shower worked really well and everything was available such as hair dryer, kettle. The decor was very up to date and fresh for a room that size it still felt light and modern. The chairs to sit and look out at the view were just right for the size of the room. The extra touch of gluten free bara brith on arrival was spot on too. Was nice to have our own entrance too.

100% recommend! for lovely peaceful get away even with the dog, dog friendly so they can stay in property, clean tidy, beautiful views, bed was so comfortable despite I am 7 months pregnant I didn’t need my pillow, felt safe and felt homey. great location 5 minute walk to Restruants and beach, it is hilly to get to but not far. beautiful quiet location, the owners were friendly kind and warm hearted. we felt very welcome! we loved our room, sit in our chairs window open and watch the view. lovely shower facility! helpful! best place we stayed In wales so far! our dog willow absolutely loved it. settled so well.

The location is brilliant a five minute walk to Aberdyfi Main Street and beach, the room is modern and clean. The view is amazing out of the window and you feel relaxed as soon as you arrive. Nigel was very welcoming and made us feel at home either fresh filtered water and homemade cake. The property also has free parking. The location is high up but easily walkable and worth it for the views,

A lovely guest house, just a few steps away from the beach and all the shops / bars / restaurants etc. Our room was warm and quiet, and the bed was so comfy. We had a great sleep on both nights and the shower each morning was lovely and hot. The breakfast was fab and the perfect way to start the day and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We'll definitely stay again.

The B&B was comfortable, clean, quiet and well located very close to the sea, and a great nearby cafe on the beach. All the facilities such as the shower room and toilets were clean, well maintained and resourced. Everything well thought out to make the stay as relaxing as possible. People running it were friendly, and the choice and quality of the breakfast was excellent.

Absolutely lovely place room was lovely bed was comfy room was decorated lovely tea coffee and biscuits was a nice touch knowing if you run out that you could help yourself to more at reception and if like me you forgot the shower gel free shower gel and shampoo also at reception to help yourself to was so helpful and kind. Breakfast was amazing best sausage and bacon ever so much so we went to the butchers on leaving and bought some to take home. And the welcome booklet in the room was so helpful with where to eat and taxi numbers we have stayed in aberystwyth a few time and this by far is the best place for the best price the best Breakfast and literally just across the road from the sea will recommend this place to everyone we know and will 100% be booking here everytime we stay in aberystwyth from now on which is a few times a year

Fantastic location to help a family member move out of university accommodation into a house in the area. Hotel lovely and clean. Very large building. Lots of bedrooms. Check in was very easy as all details were left for us to do a self check in at the reception area for when we arrived. Bedroom comfortable and clean. Shared bathrooms didn't bother us. Shower room had a toilet inside and was very clean. Other separate toilet also clean. Breakfast was lovely in the morning. A selection of cereals and full Welsh breakfast, tea coffee ect, yoghurts ect. Not that we needed it but there was also vegetarian and gluten free options. Complimentary bottles of water, drink making facilities in the bedroom were very welcomed after a long journey.

This B&B is extraordinarily clean everywhere. We had two single beds, very comfortable, a wash basin and everything needed to make a cup of tea or coffee. Two bottles of water were also provided and there was a fan in the wardrobe, as well as a safe. We stayed two nights on the first floor and it was extremely quiet for our whole stay. Breakfast was very nice, a very good helping to set us for the day, with tasty coffee.
