The location and view from the rooms, jacuzzi was a plus for relaxing in the open air.

Staying at this hotel was wonderful. We had a beautiful ocean view room with our own private jacuzzi on our balcony. The staff were fantastic, especially the evening front desk gentleman and the 3 gentlemen at the pool bar. They went out of their way to help us. The hotel is small and beautiful, felt like a boutique hotel. The breakfast was also generous and delicious. Nice 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach with chairs and umbrellas for rent. Not one negative thing to say about this lovely hotel.

Great, clean and quiet hotel. It’s located just a short walk from Praia de Porto Mós, which was our favourite beach in whole Lagos. Breakfast in the hotel is simple but really tasty, everything is fresh, the staff is attentive and friendly. Lovely pool with sun loungers and a bar, plenty of space for everyone and you could always find a spot. The bar staff were great, taking care of everyone, checking in and serving tasty drinks. The hotel is slightly away from the city centre, which was perfect for us, as we were looking for a place away from the city noise and crowds. When we were checking out and our flight home was late in the evening, we were able to leave our luggage and still use the pool and facilities which was amazing and we really appreciated it! Special shoutout to Amin from breakfast who was always chatting to us in the morning, and Jose (plus another young guy whose name we didn’t catch!) from bar staff, always putting a smile on our faces and making a great iced latte!

This hotel is beautiful with professional and attentive staff. Parking is convenient and secure with several charging ports if you need them. Room was spotless and more than spacious with a patio and balcony overlooking the large clean pool and with fantastic views. The beds very comfy. Breakfast buffet was very good with many choices including eggs cooked the way you want and pastel de nata. But the most important thing about this hotel is the wonderful staff that went above and beyond. We checked in at the beginning of the Spain, France, Portugal, Morocco April power outage. Staff stayed calm and provided updates, and the chef stayed late to grill omelets, sandwiches, and make salads for all the guests. This was challenging for him at best and his efforts and skills will forever be remembered as there were no operating restaurants or stores in which to purchase food due to the lack of power. His culinary skills were excellent and eating the meal was definitely not a hardship; instead it was one of the best meals we ate. Staff supplied battery candles at each table and the ambience was comforting and special. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel - stylishly decorated, clean and modern. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was clean and the perfect cool temperature. We had a fantastic room on 2 levels with 2 x twin beds and a double bed. The breakfast was delicious with lots of fresh fruit, bread, pastries, cake, fresh meat and cheese and eggs cooked to order. The hotel is a 10min walk to a vast, stunning beach with 2 restaurants (you need to book ahead).

The staff are exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. There is a whole variety of accommodation so choose wisely. I loved my room (268) quiet and sea view, good size. Very clean. There are more modern rooms available. Breakfast offers something for everyone . The pool area is a little tired and they really need to clean the algae from the pool and the glass bannisters of bird poo daily that are all around the pool area and the restaurant terrace. Well positioned as great beach (and lift down to it ) the better beach sunbeds are to the right not the ones in front which are too far from the water. Lovely boardwalk to the harbour bars / restaurants or it's a quick cab. Great little beach bar / restaurant to the left as you come out of the beach exit overlooking a calm small cove which is great for children.

The property was excellent- very clean - very relaxing, especially in the bar on floor 1 which played moody jazz quietly in the background - Nice!!😂- only stayed for 1 night in November, but the facilities, indoor pool; spa; gym on floor 1; outdoor pool etc. would have got used otherwise. My sea view balcony room on floor 4 was lovely, comfortable and clean and a great sun trap throughout the day with an uninterrupted view to the sea and beach approx 100m away. But whilst the fabric of resort was great, the staff really make this place 👏👏👏 - very friendly; efficient; can’t do enough for you 10/10. It’s a short 5 min taxi or a nice 30 min walk along the boardwalk alongside the beach to get to the village of Alvor itself which has lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. The buffet breakfast provided plenty of choice and was good without being top notch 8/10 I understand there is plenty of golf courses close by; so I would definitely rebook this place for a golf trip if I return in the spring/summer

Staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming in all the places: reception, bar and restaurant. The quality of food in the restaurant - dinner and breakfast - was outstanding: fresh, lots of choice, perfectly cooked. You cannot beat sitting on the balcony eating breakfast in the morning. My room was beautiful: shower was powerful, water and juice in the fridge, bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The SPA offers a lot of choice and I had a wonderful back and head massage. Sadly, I did not have the opportunity to use the indoor pool and other facilities as I only stayed one night BUT I will definitely return and recommend the hotel to everyone. It was the perfect place to unwind: physically and mentally. Check out was 12pm which was great, later than other places.

Amazing pool area, with sunbeds and sea view, quiet and relaxing. Super easy access to the beach via private lift or stairs. Even if the sea was too cold to swim, the beach was amazing, especially near sunset, and not crowded. Several nice beachside seafood restaurants. Local town with nice restaurants at 5 min drive. Room had a great sea view. Very clean.

This was a beautiful hotel, in a gorgeous area of the Algarve. The villa style set up made the hotel feel like a little village! Our apartment was spotlessly clean & well equipped for our week long stay. The pool area was perfect, plenty of sunbeds & shade if you wanted it, & the bar & restaurant were open throughout the afternoon so you could have lunch without having to leave the pool. The restaurant was extremely reasonable in terms of cost & the food was delicious! All the staff were very friendly & always willing to help...they even opened the mini market shop for us before opening hours when we had just arrived so that we could buy water! The receptionist was also extremely helpful during our stay...he was more like a tour guide! We frequently used the shuttle bus to the closest beach, Caneiros, & the town of Cavoeiro, which meant we cut down on our traveling costs! Perfect resort for small children, the pool area is safe and they also organise games like water polo. You would probably need a car if you had children & wanted to do lots of sightseeing to the neighbouring towns/villages, & also to get to & from the airport, although our party of three adults managed just fine using the free shuttle buses & taxis which were quite cheap. My only criticism of the whole resort is the very bad female singer, who currently sings each Wednesday....awful!! All in all, a great resort & a great holiday! destination! The photographs here don't do it justice!!

The staff we met were very friendly and accommodating. Nuno was at the front desk both when we checked in and checked out. He spoke excellent English and was extremely helpful, explaining everything very well. Even came to our room via golf cart and running up the stairs when we couldn’t figure out how to open the door. Then he went well over and beyond and translated my parking ticket from the day before and printed out google map address and coordinates of the city hall in Lisbon. Staff at breakfast were also helpful. Room itself was spacious as it was a full apartment. It’s a bit old but was overall clean and well maintained. The main problem was that one of the beds had black particles between the sheets and seemed really dirty, so my daughter had to sleep over the sheets and was naturally uncomfortable sleeping there.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom villa. This is our second visit. Only reservations was that stayed in this complex about 10 years ago and it does need updating as it is getting dated. We only stayed 6 days but the cleaning service was excellent we had clean towels everyday and the villa was cleaned everyday. The entertainment could improve as the lady running it set up the water polo to only then disappear for a couple of hours before coming back to collect the equipment. Check-in was very efficient, reception team had very good English and were very helpful. However the Manager of the Hotel was quite evasive and did not deal with our complaint. We wanted a full English Breakfast as this was advertised till 10:30am but we turned up at 10:10am to be told that no chef and we could only have continental breakfast and it was too late for breakfast. The lady was very rude and we went to see the manager to explain that we would not be eating at the Restaurant because of this and they had lost our custom for the rest of the holidays. Pool area very good never had to reserve sunbeds or rush to get one on a morning. What would benefit this complex is an indoor pool or a second outdoor swimming pool.

Great area, not too close to the noisy busy areas but not so quite that you’re in the sticks. Restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Room was great, huge 1 bed self catering apartment with far more room than was really needed. Well equipped kitchen, bit of a tired bathroom which could have done with a revamp but absolutely functional. Nice little pool, crap sunbeds! We didn’t try the on site restaurant but all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and couldn’t fault them one bit!!

The villa was huge with lots of space for the children to run around. The garden contained a pool, jacuzzi, brick barbecue and outside sink. We were situated at the end of the row and had almost complete privacy. The staff were friendly and happy to help with any issues we had. A free minibus took us into Carvoeiro or to a local beach.

During my stay at Colina da Lapa, I appreciated the beautiful grounds and well-maintained buildings, which created a serene atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally helpful, enhancing my experience with their attentive service. The spacious accommodations were clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat. Although the location required a short drive to the beach, the stunning views and peaceful environment made it worthwhile. The outdoor swimming pool was a great addition, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the Algarve.

Everything was perfect! The place is just stunning, you get access to the outdoor pool, there's a restaurant on the property - everything you need is there. It's very quiet, placed in nature, which allows you to relax completely. Apartament was spacious, with all the facilities needed. Very comfy bed. Friendly and helpful receptionist.

The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome straight away. The easy to access site was very clean and well kept. It was easy to get taxis to nearby locations and the staff were incredibly helpful in telling us about the local area. The apartment itself was clean and tidy with useful amenities such as an iron, cooking essentials and a TV with many channels. The room service also made the beds and provided clean towels everyday which was great. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We stayed for 3 nights but would definitely stay for longer next time!

This place is great. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The apartment was large, clean and well furnished. It has A/C and heat. Walking distance to the beach, short cab from the train station, walking distance to a small market. Very peaceful in winter.

January too cold for outdoor pool, yet very clean appearance. Indoor pool with sauna, steam room jacuzzi was great and 50% discounted entry.

The property was part of a beautifully maintained resort with spotless gardens and well-kept grounds, creating a peaceful atmosphere. It was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, whether for one night or longer. There were two restaurants, pools, and other amenities on-site, though we didn’t get a chance to try them. Just a note for coffee lovers: only enough coffee was provided for one morning, so it might be worth checking with the staff if you’d like more. The area was spotless, with a lovely view. Highly recommended!

Fantastic facilities, in beautiful surroundings. Exceptional townhouse, clean, with everything we needed, comfortable beds. The staff were brilliant and helpful. We were at a function that was held in the club house restaurant. The food was excellent with extremely polite and welcoming staff. Will definitely be back. Good value for money. From our living room balcony there was a locked gate with access to a large swimming pool

We loved it and extended for 2 more nights. Spotless clean, spacious, great breakfast buffet with fresh fruits, spa and pool are nice (paid extra), lovely area, close to town. Great service. WiFi worked mostly well.

First and foremost- clean, clean, clean. Immaculate grounds, units themselves well maintained and spotless. All staff that we met were polite and friendly. Close to Lagos but far enough away. Large property. They have a shuttle that runs to the city but having a car is the best option.

The property is a health and wellness one so it has great SPA facilities included in the booking. Epsom salt room, detox and relaxation showers, indoor swimming pool was warm and jacuzzi was hot, cold swimming pool inside, sauna steam room and a meditation room - these were the best things ever! Only thing to know is breakfast was repetitive and very healthy vibes - so no English breakfast! Mainly egg based breakfast options. But it’s a great stay for the price.

Ambience - from the moment you entered hotel there was a calm and tranquil fee which continued throughout the corridors and into your room with soothing music and the gentle aroma of essential oils. Staff - without exception the staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful, nothing was too difficult for them making you feel right at home. Room - the room was perfect with everything advertised present to a very high standard. Breakfast - difficult to pick one thing that was much better than the rest because everything so good but the breakfast was sensational with such a wide variety of foods and combinations available. We will never forget the Longevity breakfast! Spa - a wonderful area in the hotel cleverly designed to contain a large deconstructed jacuzzi pool with five different areas, a salt water pool, a sauna, a steam room, a Himalayan salt room, a relaxation room, and a variety of different showers, and a number of loungers inside and out. Well being activities - we had no idea that included in price were numerous daily activities which you could opt into if you wished. We dipped our toes into crystal therapy, Pilates, yoga, energetic healing, astrology and numerology. All totally added to our experience.

The service in restaurant was excellent. Food was good and elegantly served. Rooms were clean with nice balconies. Glass-wall bathrooms were strange. Tea bags and kettle in rooms were appreciated. A coffee machine (or just coffee bags) were not available and coffee only available on room service. This is not good. Also no milk for tea in rooms and we felt like we were slightly difficult guests in asking for these things. Strange again. The Spa. I had a wonderful reflexology treatment. First class. However my daughter had a disappointing massage and facial. Deep tissue massage was fast and shallow. Facial was not as advertised and lasted 15 minutes. Therapist was not warm or receptive to feedback. Spa was generally relaxing and pleasant. The steam room was a bit smelly and some of the spa facilities did not seem well maintained (salt room, reflexology pools). Otherwise it was ok, nice music. Reception staff were generally lovely. The coffee / milk problem was just one incident. Our favourite place was the restaurant. The two staff here were outstanding. In general it felt more 4 star than 5 star but, with a little more attention to detail, it could improve. Some complimentary touches such as fruit bowl in spa and reception; hot or cold towels on arrival;!welcome drink; healthy snacks in rooms; imaginative, healthy mini bar offerings; nuts or olives with cocktails… Coffee maker in rooms (essential)! Milk in fridge. These are 5 star touches.

It was such a lovely experience to stay in Longevity. There were lovely touches around the hotel - free locally produced fruit and cookies in reception; extra towels given to go to the beach or spa; beautiful essential oils burning in open areas and bedroom gave an instant feeling of calm and serenity. We felt we relaxed into our holiday from the moment we arrived in the hotel. There was a variety of classes every morning and afternoon which were included in the stay - the instructors and the classes were excellent - very professional and great fun. The quality and variety of the breakfast was amazing. The spa area was a wonderful retreat and the gym equipment was top quality and spotless. The staff were super helpful and friendly. We had a very early flight on our last day and they offered us a boxed breakfast to take with us as we would miss the regular breakfast. We both said we would love to return again.

Great hotel, especially if you are keen on fitness and wellbeing (as the name suggests). Breakfast buffet had an extensive range of produce and offered 3 different hot dishes each morning. Labels on items would have been useful as there was a great deal of variety; particularly with milk products as it was unclear which containers had whole, semi-kimmed or alternative e.g. oat milk. Rooms were serviced each day and a bottle of mineral water replenished. There was no option to keep your towel once used; bed linen was also regularly changed. I prefer hotels to be more eco-friendly. Having information in the room regarding to spa treatment and wellness classes and any associated costs would help decision-making. Booking classes and spa was fine, do it at least the day before. One of the two cafe/restaurants was closed. The cafe doubled as a bar with limited offerings. Wines were the worst we had the entire stay in The Algarve and we missed being able to have a nightcap in a cosy bar. Hotel was quiet, but unfortunately the room we were allocated had the cafe on the floor above; noisy with scraping chairs and movement from around 7 a.m. The hotel moved us to a quiet room on request with no fuss. 10 to 15 minutes walk into Alvor village with a slight uphill incline on the return journey. Good lighting and footpaths, so very safe.

very fortunate to have found this resort during our research into Portugal's Algarve region-the southern coast.even though it looks like it's quite new,staff told me it's been here over a decade.it's not located right on the beach.that's a bit of a drive.but it's worth it to be in a place so lovely & well kept.our unit was a 2 bedroom condo with one upstairs & one down.clearly designed for 2 couples/families to occupy as was the case with our neighbors.daily maid service.a full,well equipped kitchen for cooking in, 2 baths with the 1 upstairs a bit larger,and a small patio downstairs & balcony upstairs,complete with electronic sunshade.the main couch/loveseat living area is upstairs also with the dining area off the kitchen on the main level.the couch folds out to a bed with a thin mattress.but it is the only bed that is actually a twin bed as both the other bedrooms have a pair of single beds with hard mattresses.and they didn't have a way to connect them so each night a canyon was created if we tried to get close.unfortunate but really the only drawback to the unit. the area of the complex we were in-Bella Colina Village-includes a decent but unremarkable restaurant, golf course,spa and fitness area with indoor pool,and 2 outdoor pools w/kids pools.plus many loungers & umbrellas.these were a nice respite after a day out exploring.we highly recommend the spa massages as these were very enjoyable & done by professionals.staff was universally helpful. highly recccommended.

A wonderful stay! The staff could not have been more friendly, helpful and welcoming. We didn't have a car, so they had no problem in arranging taxis for us, recommending places to stay and assisting us with any requests, including booking excursions for us and contacting companies. Without a doubt the best staff I have ever encountered. The apartment was spacious, clean and well-equipped. We had a slight problem with ants but after reporting it, it was taken care of straight away and we had no other problems. The only thing is that there isn't a shop nearby so if you don't have a car it's tricky to stock up on essentials. But it is fairly easy to get an uber or taxi. A brilliant stay!

Lovely 2BR / 2BA, 2-story condo on a lovely, quiet, secure, resort property: spacious, modern, clean, in very good condition, with fully equipped kitchen, and excellent housekeeping service, lovely view, and pool just a few steps away. It is a 10 minute drive to Lagos points of interest, grocery stores, gas, etc., so having a car is a must. Plenty of parking in front of condo For such a nice place, we were surprised that the TVs were small, not Smart TVs, and at the substandard gym at the clubhouse 0.8 miles away, which was small, only had 2 ellipticals, and 3 treadmills.

We had an amazing time at Boavista for 10 days, wished we were there for longer! The staff are so friendly & helpful. The maids do an outstanding job everyday & the gardeners keep the place immaculate. The whole place is spotless & so beautiful. A car is definitely a benefit, we did get a few taxis into Lagos town for the evening which cost around €10 each way. Reception were really helpful ordering the taxi for us. I highly recommend a stay at this beautiful resort.

One night stay as we were attending a party and did not want to drive home. Arrived early but we were able to check in. Excellent welcome and customer service by receptionist. very informative and gave us a map to help us find our way around. The room was very clean and comfortable. Very nice gesture to have a welcome bottle of wine waiting. WIFI very good and plenty of satellite cannels on the TV. The bed was huge and very comfortable, good quality bed linen and the room was adequately furnished. Very clean bathroom with everything one would expect. Also had an iron and ironing board which is always useful. We didn't use it but saw there was a courtesy bus to the beach. Ideal place to stay for families. Breakfast next day was buffet service. Very well catered for with a good choice of food. Separate dining room for eating which avoided having to watch people trailing their plates and food around and kept everything clean and calm.Waiters were clearing plates as they came available. Everything run very well. Check out easy and no fuss. Would recommend Vitors Village and we will stay again when we are down this way.

Very clean and well-maintained resort which had plenty of useful amenities and served delicious, well-presented food at a reasonable price. Staff were always very friendly and helpful. Our apartment was spotless, modern and spacious. The resort is only a short walk from the town square, harbour and beach which are all lovely. We will definitely be returning!

We had a great 2 week holiday. Vitor's village was a great choice. It is in a top location, has well maintained facilities and grounds. The staff were pleasant and attentive across the board, the reception staff speak very good English and helped us out with our return transfers - top marks for that. Our apartment was swept, mopped, daily and adequate supplies of toiletries maintained throughout. And we had fresh towels more frequently than stated in the hotels brochure. The onsite shop had most of the basics stocked during our stay, but you need to be an early bird for the bread rolls in the morning. There is always a better stocked supermarket in the old town if needed as well. The only gripes we had we were the lack of evening entertainment, the bar was dead throughout our stay and on check out we were asked to pay for 2 wine glasses that had been accidentally broken with the washing up. Its a gentle walk down to the old town of Ferragudo, if you take the back way, 10 min walk. The Old Town has a variety of restaurants, catering for most tastes, if you like fish then it certainly ticks all the boxes there. We found the price of drinks and the overall cost of a meal, better value than in the UK. Some of the more popular restaurants it is advisable to book in advance or wait till the rush has died down a little later. We needed extra layers on to sit out in the evening in Ferragudo- can get windy, where as Praia Da Rocha across the river always seemed warmer at night.

Loved our stay at Vitors! The hotel grounds and rooms were really modern, clean and only a close walk to the centre of Ferragudo.The breakfast buffet was well worth the money and the snack bar offered reasonably priced, food quality food too. Our only negative was that we did from time to time get a slight smell of drains. It did only last momentarily and it is worth mentionioning that there was some surrounding works ongoing which could have led to it. All in all, a brilliant hotel, well situated and is on our list to hopefully revisit next year.

PLUSES: two good-sized pools, wonderful breakfast, clean rooms with comfortable beds, game room COULD USE IMPROVEMENT: 1. we paid for breakfast but my teenage son preferred to sleep in. I asked if I could prepare a small plate to bring to him and was told "no". Not even a yogurt and piece of fruit! 2. we had to purchase a $10 towel to use at the pool NOTE: the market near the front office sells drinks (beer, soda) at only ~$1 each. The bar sells the same drinks at 4x the cost. We learned to stock up!

Wonderful apartment. Spacious, tastefully decorated and some lovely local wines for us to try as we stayed in the ‘wine’ themed apartment. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the bathrooms large with excellent showers and a jacuzzi bath. The rooftop terrace was stunning, bit too cold for the outdoor pool but lovely to sit and have a drink and to chill out. The indoor pool was great to be able to have a swim in the colder (March) weather and was clean and quiet. Jorge our host was friendly, welcoming and even helped us to arrange a boat tour of the local caves. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to stay in Lagos who wants a nice, relaxing time.

Modern, in a great location, spotlessly clean, comfortable with everything you need in a vacation home. Cozy and soft towels, including pool towels, well equipped modern kitchen, with all amenities sparkling as new. Everything you could think of you can find in the apartment. The rooftop pool in the building is just amazing with great views to the ocean, cost and old city. There is another great indoor, warmed pool that the kids used and enjoyed as well. Location is perfect being 5 minutes walk to the beach and to the center (restaurants, bars, supermarket and shops). Comfortable parking available as well. BUT above all that great stuff, there is Jorge the owner that is taking care of everything and make this experience even better! Starting from the welcome tour, or even before arrival, making sure we are clear with the direction instructions or need something specific, through assisting with great tips for the activities and touring in the area, with great smile and endless patience. Perfect vacation place and home away from home

The host was accommodating very kindly our wish of earlier check in as part of the family was arriving Lagos early on our arrival day. We received a warm welcome! We lived in the apartment Wine, received a generous welcome gift with two bottles of wine and lovely pastry from a local bakery. The apartment was very comfortable with modern facilities, we appreciated the access to filtered/iced water, a coffee machine, washing machine and other necessities for a functioning home. There was a good communication with the host throughout our stay when there was need for that. This apartment was a perfect base for a special family reunion, located in the beautiful Old Town of Lagos, in walking distance from beaches, city centre, restaurants and stores and the amazing plank trails along the cliffs. It was amazing to access pool both on the rooftop and in the basement, and the balcony areas on the rooftop with a wonderful view hearing the birds and ocean were perfect spots for both family or solo breaks throughout the day. We loved everything about this stay, and warmly recommend Henri's apartments!

The location was PERFECT! Walkable to the beach and so many shops/restaurants. It was incredibly comfortable and spacious place to stay, and we recommend it’s so highly for groups of friends or families. It was as clean as it could possibly have been! Truly so well-kept. We traveled with adult children and it was nice for everyone to have their own space. The kitchen was fabulous and had everything we needed. Jorge was a great host. Super friendly and very responsive when we had a question. Very very highly recommend this place! We were able to reserve a parking space for our rental car, which was very convenient since we did not need to use it for most of our stay in Lagos. The place had air conditioning with individual controls in each bedroom and throughout the house, which was smart and convenient for all of us.

Apartment #13 Atlantic view was we could ask for and more. The area was within blocks of the main area of old town Lagos. We found many restaurants, bars , shops there. The 3bdrms could have comfortably held 6 adults. The unit had updated Bosch appliances, espresso machine and a washer/dryer combo were a welcome addition. The rooftop area gave us unbelievable views of Meia Praia beach, all the way to Alvor! Great spot for sunbathing or a dip in the pool or an early evening cocktail or an early morning coffee. And our host, Jorge, was the key that wrapped it all together. Very nice tour of the whole unit and all amenities. He was so nice and answered all our questions. His recommendations were spot on. Thank you so much for an amazing holiday that we will never forget!!

I loved my stay here. Every staff member was friendly and accommodating. The entire property was so peaceful and relaxing with birdsong by day, an amazing pool for cooling off/swims, and one of the most fantastic breakfasts (with killer coffee btw) I've ever had. I had to take part of it back to my room with me for lunch - because it was huge! My room had an ocean view and terrace and it was so lovely to have the ocean breeze coming in throughout what felt like my own little casita. Shower was hot, bed was comfortable, AC cranked immediately after a particularly rigorous walk along the Ponte de Piedade in direct sun. Perfect :) Highly recommend.

The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, lush, verdant and colourful with lots of beautiful flowers. The room was charming, feminine, beautifully designed on a budget, very rustic (possibly too rustic for those who prefer very practical accommodation), with lovely stone flooring, heart shaped bed and 360 views of lush gardens and a field full of purple wildflowers. There was a lovely bottle of wine, charcuterie platter and jazz music playing in room on arrival. Many of the staff were friendly and kind. Hotel and nearby area felt safe. The private terrace was lovely, surrounded by beautiful gardens. Close to Dona Ana beach which is beautiful and sheltered. Hotel provided map and restaurant recommendations on arrival. Some of the restaurant recommendations were great, the pizzeria nearby, Gato Pardo, was excellent. The orange juice, salami and ham at breakfast were lovely, the other items pretty average. Cleanliness was good, but the toilet seat was stained and should be replaced. The toilet was also quite small, very rustic. Beautiful shower but not very private. No shower gel or body lotion provided. Towels were not great quality and kept shedding. The round/heart-shaped bed was cute but not very long, not the best for tall people. For the price, some improvements could be made, but it is a lovely place for a few nights.

This is by far the nicest hotel our family has ever enjoyed. The location is perfect, a nice walk to the center with restaurants, the beach, and Lagos life. The people are so accommodating (made our kayaking reservations for us), the pool area is gorgeous, the grounds are breathtaking, the rooms are full of windows that scream to be open, and the breakfast was divine. The kind servers brought our breakfast to our private terrace! Fresh breads, cafè con leche, fresh orange juice, eggs, ham & salami, tomatoes & cucumbers with thyme and sea salt, cheese, tarts, and fresh fruit, and we stuffed ourselves. This hotel is a hidden gem...I believe the word will get out. We were extremely pleased with everything and we will return!

We had a wonderful stay and really loved the rustic vibe of the complex. Our suite was spacious, clean, and featured a lovely bathtub and a great view. The staff, including the receptionist, were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making our experience even better. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, a charming restaurant, and the town center. Would highly recommend!

Uma Casa à Beira Sol when translated into English reads as A House By The Sun. And thats what we experienced during our stay from July 1st-5th, 2017. We booked this hotel on Hotels.com from their India website. And we are so glad we did. At the reception, Tanya was extremely helpful and always smiling making life easier for travellers like us in a new town. From Recommending restaurants marked on a ready city map she made for us, to the excellent breakfast served right outside our room, to the beautifully kept and managed place, to arranging a cab, to making bookings for a boat tour, to obliging us with some repeated requests for some milk for our coffee [ oh yeah.. just add creamers in the beautiful coffee/tea tray kept in all rooms ], to answering way too many questions that I constantly had, as my wife put it, but patiently with a smile, Tanya knows hospitality. And then there was Alexandra who was as great, and helpful and smiling. The rooms are clean. The water is always warm if required. Fresh towels everyday. Perfectly working air conditioners if needed. Zero exterior noise. It is so perfectly located. 10-12 mins walking distance from the beautiful city centre and to three of the most famous beaches in Lagos. Simon the cat was an added bonus. Knew who to go to. So no trouble there. Would say Just Book this Place!! You Wont regret it. For family, romance or solo, this is worth the money!!

Very comfortable large room with private balcony. Large bathroom, comfortable bed with top level bedding. Air conditioning, view.. Common areas in Villa Moments include well equipped kitchen, bar, breakfast area, pull, terrace - everything is luxurious and in excellent condition. Fatima is excellent host, very helpful and responsive. Housekeeper Bernadette served delicious breakfast with some unique dish every morning.

An absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish. The Villa is beautiful with an exceptional pool and lounge area. Best of all are the staff and the owners who provided the best service and setting we have ever experienced. Carlos and Fatima (the hosts) were incredibly helpful and friendly but special mention must go to Bernadette who made us a delicious breakfast every day served at our own table on the terrace and Sandra who kept our room and the Villa spotless. Would definitely love to book again. Great restaurants nearby and not too far to walk to the beach. Ten stars out of ten.

Beautiful villa, finished to a very high standard. Lovely and quiet, perfect for a relaxing break. Great location only a few minutes walk to the beach and restaurants, shops and bars. Fantastic amenities, and the pool and outdoor space is lovely. Amazing breakfast provided by the lovely Maria every morning, nicest breakfast we've ever had while on holiday.

Lovely villa, clean, spacious and in a quiet / residential area. Very friendly and helpful staff, from our initial contact with the owner Fatima to all of her staff. Maria served us breakfasts daily, always with a cheerful smile and overall could not have been more helpful. The decor is 1960s style. The pool is not heated, but refreshing on a hot day. Pool table in basement for evening fun. Honesty bar in the fridge in the kitchen

The luxury of the villa, so peaceful, yet on 6 minutes walk from Praia de Rocha. Fab place to stay with lovely pool furnished with sun beds and relaxing furniture. Delicious breakfast with a variety to suit every taste served overlooking the pool. Bernadette looked after us very well and everywhere was immaculate. Comfortable en-suite room with a bath and balcony. Would definitely go back as I could highly recommend it as good as any 5⭐️ hotel without the crowds.

Location, location, location! When the description said “balcony”, you really get a balcony! The view of the beach is absolutely stunning. The coastline (and the Algarve’s famous cliffs) are less than a 5 minute walk. Also, the jacuzzi, pool, and sauna were nice touches!

The view was amazing! The room was a great size and very comfortable. The bathroom with jacuzzi bath was just what was needed after a long hot day walking the fishermans trail.

Beautiful view and convenient location to the beach and the city. Comfortable bed and good pressure shower. The host is onsite and very attentive and accommodating. Quiet and peaceful. It was wonderful to wake up with the ocean view and hear the ocean waves and seagulls.

Great Location! Short walk to the beach and two restaurants and beach bar. Short Uber ride to Lagos. Room was perfect for my daughter and I. Comfortable bed. Beautiful view from balcony. Great pool and gym. Host, Michael, was very accommodating upon our late night arrival and always checked to make sure we had everything we needed!

Facilities are lovely, basketball, tennis court, swimming pool. The garden was beautiful, full of plants and well shaded. Jacuzzi was nice and already heated for us on arrival. Plenty of dishwashing and laundry tablets. Nice cooking facilities. A very comfortable place. Would love to return

This property is outstandingly beautiful and offers complete quiet and tranquility. It is a home from home with spacious car parking and they deliver breakfast to your apartment/villa every morning. It is 6 star luxury. We were two couples travelling together. It is a short distance from town/marina in Lagos but only cost between €3.75 and €4 for an Uber. There is plenty of spacious parking. We visited in early October. It is very quiet and peaceful. Staff are all so friendly and helpful. We will come back here.

Amazing staff, very friendly and accommodating. They brought me a cake and wrote a card for my birthday. Very clean room. Great water pressure in a very roomy shower.

The location was very good. Close to old town Lagos, where the restaurants and bars are (10-15min walking), but far enough to be in a quiet safe zone. The apartment was thoroughly cleaned and very comfortable, with an outside balcony, great to have dinner or coffee time with your family/friends. It has an inside warmer pool and an outside pool, which makes it a great stay for the mid-season and warmer season.

Spacious apartment with all the essentials needed Location was great, near bus and train stations. Walkable to marina, old town, ponta da Piedade, porto do mos. Lidl and aldi supermarkets also nearby. There's a pool and gym accessed via a key fob. Had no WiFi until it was sorted at 6pm on the 3rd night stay, they did contact the provider to try to get it sorted. Only used the balcony to dry laundry but not quite warm enough to sit out.

It was a very good experience at this place. The accommodation has everything you need for a comfortable few days. Everything was clean and organized. I also enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, which helped me relax. I would return without hesitation.
