Comfortable Beds, Friendly Owner, Jacuzzi Tub, Location, Renovated House with Authentic Features, It was a pleasent experience!

We booked this holiday for my wife's 50th birthday and nothing too was too much trouble for the hosts Marco and Grazia. I contacted them before we left to arrange for some flowers and a bottle of Prosecco to be in the room waiting for my wife when we arrived and it was a lovely bouquet and bottle were waiting and lovely note. They booked table us at the local seafood restaurant as we don’t speak any Italian and Grazia gave us a card to take with us so the booking wouldn’t be confused with another. The accommodation is clean, tidy and well maintained and décor is very Italian reflecting the local area. It had a homely feel to it and in the public areas there were photos of what I assume to be hosts travels. The breakfast was of courses continental and was excellent with plenty there. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this family run B&B. Places to eat: Urban Fish is a lovely seafood restaurant the lake side. Bar Pin on the way down to the lake is a Bar/Restaurant Gelateria.

Location of check in is 5 minute walk from the train station and super easy to find. Grazia and Marco are both lovely and welcoming. The accommodation is based in a traditional old Italian backstreet building with steep stairs and high ceilings, it is quaint and beautiful. Our room (3rd floor) for a couple was small but adequate, the bed was comfortable and the balcony over looking the mountain a nice touch. The shower is tiny and would not fit a big person in, but nice and powerful. The breakfast was in a shared kitchen downstairs (a room open all hours which was helpful ) and overseen by the loveliest Italian last called Alina. All continental products , the apple cake and boiled eggs were some of best I’ve tasted. One morning it was only us and the other shared very friendly people from various European countries. Overall I would definitely return, it’s great value for money.

We had a delightful stay in these cozy and romantic apartments in the heart of Dervio. The host's hospitality was exceptional, providing us with a lovely breakfast and delicious coffee every morning.

A very warm welcome from the hosts. The room is just big enough but is clean and modern in a renovated old property. No air conditioning so the free standing fan was vital. Good breakfast. Make sure you can manage big suitcases up tight stairs. 10 minute walk from the beach and restaurants.

Varenna and Bellagio were the nicest towns we have ever been. Lovely accomodation with Jacuzzi and Netflix everything you can ask for is here. Alessandra our host was very helpful during our stay!

Alessandra was the most amazing host. She greeted us and showed us around the house. She left us a welcome drink and snacks. She provided us with everything we could need from towels to umbrellas. She has a folder with everything you need to know about Varenna, places to eat and visit as well as ferry timetables. She's always on hand if you need anything. The house is very clean and has all the cooking utensils you need as well as a coffee machine. The jacuzzi and rainfall shower were a lovely addition. Great location, 5 star accommodation in the heart of Varenna

I am an active traveler with my mom ( who is young ) and we have been to many places, but I really would like to highlight how amazing it was staying at Blue House Varenna , amazing host ; Alexandra she exceeded our expectations with such a beautiful accommodation , jacuzzi , comfort , everything was thought of to the littlest detail. I will never forget our stay in Varenna and Alexandra’s house made our stay even more memorable and filled with beautiful warm memories. If anyone is ever going to travel to lake como and particularly in Varenna I promise you will not find a single house similar to this accommodation. She is the only one also who has jacuzzi in town. We really really were pleased and very much happy thank you very much sweet Alexandra to make our memories even more memorable. We will never forget you and the house that made our trip even better. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🇮🇹🥂

Alessandra was the most amazing and perfect host!! I can not give her enough stars. Before we arrived, I asked if she could recommend an airport transport and voila, she provided a great local and professional company. She also sent restaraunt and other helpful suggestions prior to our arrival. I asked if we needed to make reservations in advance, and voila she offered to make reservations at our selected restaraunts. Definitely, necessary. Her suggestions were perfecto. I asked for a very early check in and viola, she accommodated us. We met her at the property and she was very helpful and thorough in explaining how everything worked and had a detailed booklet with train schedules, ferry schedules, and a lot of other helpful information. The apartment itself was ideally located in the center of town yet off a short alley which made for a quiet stay. The ferry was a 10 minute walk; the train station a more difficult 20 minute walk...Allessandra offered to arrange a taxi for us which was definitely helpful on our departure. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with every need anticipated, including a bottle of prosecco, water and pastries as a welcome gesture. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large and modern. From start to finish, we had a very comfortable and wonderful stay at Blue House Varenna. Don't hesitate to stay here.

Grand Hotel villa Serbelloni is an amazing palatial hotel located right in the centre of Bellagio where you can embrace the beauty of this hamlet! Just step out of the grounds and you have restaurants, artisanal shops and a strip for shopping. It is a villa of a bygone era with old charm and exquisite interior. Room with a balcony was spacious and had a magnificent view of the lake. It is truly top notch accommodation but well worth the fairytale experience! Service was impeccable and staff friendly and professional. Nothing was too much! Room service occurs twice a day and they are always accommodating. Staff could not be faulted and made your stay extra special. Buffet Breakfast in a ballroom is amazingly jaw dropping with its decore, abundance of food and quality professional service. It has an indoor and outdoor pool that are large and well appointed. The lounge area is quite regal and the atmosphere with a piano player playing gave it a touch of class! It did not lack facilities and included a spa space. Outside are glorious gardens and a bar restaurant to have an aperitive and snack in style overlooking the lake. Thank you to all at Villa Serbelloni for making our stay memorable and special!

Absolutely beautiful grounds and we loved the pool and beach area. Breakfast was great, and we loved the bars on property- the outdoor bar terrace at sunset was perfect and we ended each night in the piano bar ballroom. We had a garden view room which faced a beautiful hillside and our balcony was huge. Only issue with our room was right when we arrived my husband sat on the side of the bed and it broke!! The staff quickly replaced it and we had a good laugh. The spa was nothing special but our treatments were great. Very helpful concierge made us dinner reservations, set us up with a Venetian boat tour and our airport transfer. We would definitely stay again!

Luxury enveloped by opulence. Villa Serbelloni is the definition of a grand hotel. I was fortunate to be a guest in this magnificent home. Our room was an an oasis. Linens were luxurious, bathrooms glistening marble, turndown service every evening. The smallest details were important; from doors being opened every time we came and went, to the delicate fragrance of the linens. Each morning, breakfast was served in the grand ballroom. We had an exceptional dinner at Mistral. We enjoyed sitting in the salon and listening to music in the evening. The concierge arranged for a private boat tour of Como. We very much enjoyed being there during shoulder season. Would highly recommend going at this time (March-May) and avoiding crowds that are undoubtedly there during the warmer months. They have a beautiful indoor pool and relaxing spa if swimming outdoors is not possible. It's always lovely having a coffee or a cocktail at the outdoor bar overlooking beautiful lake Como.

One word. Perfect. Our stay was just how we had imagined. Late to check in but then we were upgraded to a villa with a balcony. Lobby is magnificient. Piano room along with restaurant is just amazing. Pool very decent size with a diving board. Access to lake with a diving board. Booked a private boat to visit Villa del balbienello arranged by the hotel. Our kids loved the hotel and very friendly staff. Parking was without a hassle especially valet. Very welcoming. definitely will be back for more days. Loved the town of Bellagio. I think best place to stay in Lake Como and one of the best hotel we have ever stayed at.

Wonderful property amazing really the best hotel I have ever been in my life the staff so professional so nice the owner of the property can be proud of them excellent breakfast and le restaurant le mistral grande cuisine du cordon blue bravo au chef and all his team le sommelier as well . The piano lobby was beautiful and with nice ambiance excellent cocktails and excellent service thanks a lot for all the personnels and staff of grand hotel villa de Serbelloni The room lovely decorated the bathroom has shower and bathtub as well the service of the transportation from Milan airport and from the hotel to Milan airport was excellent service thanks for the nice professional driver sénior LUIGI . Hopefully being in grand hotel villa Serbelloni on my next trip to Bellagio next year on may or on October once again arrivederci 🇮🇹❤️

We stayed in a lovely corner room with views both over lake Como and towards the pool/mountains and balconies in both directions. The hotel has an underground garage which is great during the hot summer months. The pool is smallish but still a great addition as the hotel is situated a bit up the mountainside. The lounge chairs at the pool have a great view across the lake. We had dinner at the hotel and they offer both a buffet plus à la carte. We chose one of each and both very happy with the quality of food. Dinner is served on the back garden terrace with amazing views across the lake. The staff is very attentive and welcoming. Breakfast had plenty of choice. We only stayed one night but would happily stayed longer if weren't on a fixed itinerary.

10x better view than the famous Grand Tremezzo Hotel down below. Traditional welcoming countryside hospitality at its best. They've been around for 6 decades, they pay attention to the details. The rooms were extremely clean, and the lake view room was worth every cent. The private balcony in room 27 was breath taking. Really felt like you were outside of this world. I would return in a heart beat. Highly recommend a romantic meal at the restaurant, highly quality local cuisine and great breakfast with the best view in the world. Please travel with a car to here, the 1.5km trek up from tremezzo ferry is steep and the cobble stones on walk path can be treacherous. We did it with no lugguage. If you have more than a back pack, you will struggle. Beds are traditional and hard, if you have arthritis be aware.

Well appointed very clean room with a large bathroom. Lake view from balcony was amazing, really amazing. We spent hours on the terrace watching boats on the lake while drinking cappuccinos. The owner went out of their way to assist with transport to surroundings. Hotel restaurant food was authentic and delicious, and they catered for allergies. Breakfast had a wide selection and eggs-your-way to order.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The view is exceptional from the restaurant to Lake Como. Breakfast is decent with a variety of food. The room is clean and cozy.

A truly grand experience! The rooms are beautiful with luxurious bathrooms of beautiful marble. The breakfast buffet is an amazing array of fresh fruit, charcuterie, cheeses, chocolates, and hot dishes including eggs to order. The staff is professional, friendly and helpful We especially enjoyed our full day lake tour with Captain Carlo. Vincenzo, in the terrace bar was so accommodating. Junga(spelling unsure) was a wonderful host in the terrace restaurant. We loved our dinner the first evening at the bar restaurant The entire concierge staff was very welcoming and helpful, especially Alex

Paradise. I think this is probably the best hotel I've ever been to. The hotel is an example of what a 5 star luxury should be. It's perfect in every single detail. The staff is professional, friendly, attentive and care about every detail of your staying. The food in the restaurants is extraordinary. Breakfast is beyond anything one could possibly imagine. A huge choice and excellent quality. The 3 pools are one better than the other. The hotel is all decorated with luxury material. The hotel is spotless, extremely well kept, it's just perfect. A parfume that reminds you of luxury accompanies you throughout the whole facility. The rooms are as in the pictures, hence, just outstanding. We've got a lake view room and it was like being in a movie. The colours, the view, the lake... spectacular. I would like to personally thank the Staff for a fabulous holiday. I proposed to my now Fiancé in this Hotel, and you have made everything special. You even went beyond what I wished for. You surprised us again and again. You are amazing. Thank you, from my heart. Hotel Tremezzo is beautiful and elegant. From the pool, the gardens, the lobby and the lake area, it’s everything that you would expect from a hotel of this caliber on Lake Como. I found, though, that the service in some cases did not match up. The front desk, concierge, bar staff (a special thank you to Lucia and her male colleagues who were wonderful) and valet/doormen were helpful, friendly and attentive. Few servers were attentive during breakfast service except for today when apparently the owners were on the property. The service at the beach is awful and is not something I would ever expect from a hotel like this. Bottled water without an ice bucket sitting in the hot sun and consumed food not cleared for over an hour. No one comes by to check on you. We had a lake view prestige room with a balcony on the first floor. Well appointed and great view but you can definitely hear the cars passing by. Small bathroom but not terrible. Dinner at the hotel was delicious. They accommodated me with a salad to start because there wasn’t a first course that I could eat. The breakfast is truly overwhelming. Overall I would definitely recommend the Grand Hotel Tremezzo but I would tweak the attitudes of both the pool and lake staff.

From the spectacular views to the incredible buffet spread, it was unlike any breakfast I’ve ever had. Truly a feast for both the eyes and the palate! Hospitality: The staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. We also booked a boat tour on the lake through the hotel, and it was a memorable experience. The captain was friendly, and the tour offered stunning views of the lake. Room: Our room was extremely comfortable and even included a Dyson hair dryer—a luxurious touch that didn’t go unnoticed. Overall, I have nothing but praise for this extraordinary hotel. The Grand Hotel Tremezzo perfectly blends luxury, comfort, and the charm of Lake Como.

This is a fabulous hotel with incredibly manicured grounds, impeccable service, beautifully decorated interior along with delicious restaurants. The atmosphere is elegant chic and a pure delight to enjoy a cocktail at their outside bar overlooking the Lake Como. Just as enjoyable is their pool restaurant T pizza which is set amongst the picturesque gardens with the mountains in the background. The pizza is also amazing. The entire hotel is breathtaking and I highly recommend staying here whenever in Lake Como area. The staff go out of their way to make your stay perfect. The hotel is only 1 hr 15 min drive from Milan and you can hop on the nearby ferry to go to Varenna, Bellagio and other stops . If your looking for the most luxurious stay in Lake Como, Grand Hotel Tremezzo checks all the boxes.

Amazing stay at this apartment and will definitely stay again when in Bellagio! Perfect for families and group of 4. Thank you for the wonderful stay! Pros: 1. Less than a minute walk to the passenger ferry terminal. 5 minutes walk to the car-passenger ferry terminal. 2. Location - In a sought after location in Bellagio. Near a Church, Pharmacy, supermarket, boutiques and restaurants 3. Staff are so welcoming, helpful and the communication is top-notch. They will go the extra mile to help you out. 4. Price - Value for money! 5. Room Accommodation - Spacious, clean, modern interior, Wifi is very good, kitchen is well equipped, Beds are comfortable, all essentials are there 6. Apartment interior - Refreshed to modern interior Cons: We did not find these as big issues but something to keep in mind… 1) If you have heavy large luggages - be ready for a very short inclined walk. 2) Reception is not manned 24x7 so make sure you know what time they are in and coordinate with them especially if you are checking in late or checking out early or you need new towels/ bathroom essentials Suggestion for the apartment owner: Please have Safe/Safety Box in the rooms

Very nice and attentive staff. Location is Gold, short walk to all the fun places, surrounded by restaurants, cafes gelato places, shops and only 3 min walk to the ferry station. Newly renovated rooms , building, clean crisp and new everything. Great beds, espresso machine with supply of ground coffee, creamer, breakfast and pasta supplies. The pool was a surprise bonus. Did not expect to use it, but after long days of walk in hot June we all enjoyed ending our day in the cute pool and the beautiful gardens. Laundry was also a plus.

This accommodation was exceptional. The staff arranged for transport from Milan directly to the front door of the hotel. The space was lovely and had every comfort needed. We added a rollaway bed for only 50 euros for the whole stay and it was comfortable. The location is perfect. Views of the lake, a washer in the unit, the sweet balcony off the dining area, access to shops and restaurants and the amazing pool and garden made this the perfect spot for our family.

Excellent location, beautiful apartment, full kitchen, spacious, very friendly and helpful staff. Elevator was very welcome for the luggage. Extensive complimentary food basket, including coffee for Expresso machine and French press. Modern bathroom with great shower. Large balcony with large table for dining. Comfortable beds.

Beautiful, well-appointed apartment. We loved it here. Helpful reception. Our 2 bedroom apartment had a private hot tub at the back - perfection. Location is ideal - cafes, mini mart, coffee, pastries, souvenirs all a few minutes walk away yet apartment was very quiet and lovely peaceful space behind the building where the pool is. Short walk to ferry. We hope to return one day. Photo is view from our little front balcony. Go to piadineria next door, Dai Viga for homemade pasta, pasticceria castelli for coffee and pastries, gelataria del borgo. Enjoy beautiful Bellagio!

Location. Very scenic...mountains, lake, garden, river views. Big & comfortable. Nice master shower! Sauna and jacuzzi were bonus, but we did not have time to use. Master bed was comfortable.

Communication with Enrico before and during my stay was excellent. The room was basic but spacious and very clean. The shower was amazing! Really powerful and lots of hot water. Excellent hair dryer. USB ports beside the bed. Location is super. 3 minute walk to the ferry terminal, 5 minute walk to main area of Varenna with bars, restaurants, etc, 5 minute walk from train station. So convenient. Very quiet at night. So handy to be able to leave luggage in the shop beside the guest house after check out. Great to have a fridge in the room.

Everything about this guest house is perfect. I loved my time in Varenna. The room was clean, comfortable and in a very good location. The gardner was very friendly and nice. It was fun talking with him about Varenna and the flowers he planted. Special thanks to Nicolo who escorted me to the castle, helped me find a nice restaurant to dine in and welcomed me with his warm hospitality. I had a lot of fun and would return back to Varenna for sure

Very convenient location.Close to station, lake, ferries, bars and restaurants. Nadia and Enrico always ready with a smile to help you. Good choice of food at the little shop for healthy breakfast or lunch. Room quiet and spacious and modern bathroom.

This property is absolutely stunning and pictures do not do it justice! The view is so incredible at all hours of the day and it is only a short walk from the station which was such a relief, especially when carrying heavy suitcases uphill on cobbled roads. It had all the facilities we needed including hairdryer, an adapter, USB ports as well as kitchen facilities. Everything was very new, well kept and very clean which made the stay even more pleasant. Enrico was helpful throughout the stay and was very easily reachable through WhatsApp. His shop is only 20 meters away from the property and is well worth a visit for some delicious gourmet gifts as well as any snacks/drinks you need during your stay. Shops and restaurants were a quick 9 minute walk from the property as well as the Villa Monastero which is well worth a visit for the scenic views. The ferry port was also only a few minutes away with easy access to Bellagio and Mennagio. Overall, a fantastic trip and very accessible for those who don’t have a car.

Absolutely beautiful location with scenic views of Lake Como. The apartments were large, spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The host Silvio was such a wonderful host, friendly, helpful, reliable and very informative. Check in was quick and easy although you need a cash or Paypal deposit (card not accepted) which was refunded immediately after ensuring no damages when checking out. Excellent bar area with amazing views although this was only open at weekends during our late in the season stay.

From the moment we arrived, everything about our stay was absolutely wonderful. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful — they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We had some questions about what to visit in the area, and they gave us amazing recommendations that made our trip truly unforgettable. There were also a few things we needed during our stay, and they kindly and quickly provided them with a smile. The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy — everything was just as described, if not better. You can tell that the team genuinely cares about their guests. Apartment has exceeded our expectations. Apart of a stunning views,amazing location for exploring the area the complex which the apartment belongs to has a cafe/bar,a library,swimming pool (open seasonly),gym,game room with table tennis,mini football tables,tennis court,bowling green,bbq area,astro football pitch. Great place for a family stay. Apartment in itself fitted with all amenities,two balconies overlooking the lake and woods,coffee machine,toaster,microwave,oven,gas stove,washing machine,central heating,motorised window blinds,luxury bathroom. I could go on and on-just a great place to stay,relax and explore the surroundings.

What a fantastic place. Very interesting building set up and wonderful lobby areas. Bar and pool area good. Plenty of parking and security felt good. We loved our apartment, beautifully equipped, clean, spacious, and the wrap around balcony had amazing views.

We had a wonderful stay in this unique property with our 11 & 13 year old daughters. Staying in the family apartment L'Onda was just brilliant with so much space and our own jacuzzi overlooking Lake Como. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Palazzo Del Vicerè is one of the most amazing places to stay in one of the most beautiful parts of the World. Arianna is a star as host and communication on the booking the apartments and amenities including the private beach and jacuzzi along with recommendations for excursions, places of interest, and restaurants were invaluable. Abdul and Arianna's son helped move our bags to and from the car to the top of the building and all staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The room was spotless when we returned each day. The breakfast was delicious with a broad range of local produce and a wonderful array of different foods. There are many restaurants nearby and has been said in other reviews about the area, you should phone in advance to book a table as they were all lively with very good quality food. It was a very special place and a wonderful experience.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Palazzo del Vic Re and I must say, it was an absolutely exceptional experience from start to finish. It’s the perfect combination of an exceptional property spirit of hospitality! The staff genuinely cared about making our stay as comfortable as possible. We stayed in the tower room (Le Torre). Perfection! It was immaculate, spacious, well-designed, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could ask for, even had a washing machine! The attention to detail in the room's decor and restoration and cleanliness was evident, and it made our stay all the more enjoyable. It felt like I was taken back in time and the views made for a photo worthy backdrop. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast was nothing short of delightful, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious made to order options. We had the pleasure of a private tour from Christiano, the grandson of the former owner and an architect who thoughtfully restored the property. So many stories in this magnificent property. Don’t forget to see the wine bar and enjoy the private lake access with chaise lounge chairs and tables to enjoy your visit at Lake Como. Palazzo del Vice Re exceeded all our expectations. We look forward to our return to this exceptional property!

Excellent views. Well renovated spacious rooms, maintaining key features but with a modern touch. Breakfast terrace. Within easy walking distance of a range of restaurants, bus stop and food shops. Very friendly and helpful staff.

What a lovely place! The area is quiet and the view is stunning. There's a lovely river view walking path leading to a nice restaurant. All the staff were very friendly and they made us feel like home. The building has lots of history and the room is clean and cosy.

The town is only a few mins away, for great restaurants and boats for day trips. My wife and I had an amazing time there and would highly recommend Villa Vitali to anyone.

Firstly the owner of property (Laura) was an amazing person, very welcoming and kind. She met us personally and explained everything about the property. we had booked a fully furnished studio apartment for 3 nights, that comes with full kitchen appliances and dining area, a bed and a sofa bed, wardrobe, a shared swimming pool, shared laundry area and best of all was the private Jacuzzi next to the garden area. The place is amazing and a just a few minutes drive from lake Como. a great place for a get away whether you travel with partner or with kids.

We appreciated the warm welcome.We liked the properties beautiful location. The fabulous accommodation and facilities ( the pool, the gym,the jacuzzi and the free the laundry and stunning garden. Parking at the property was also a bonus for us. The amazing views of both Lake Como and surrounding mountains.Easy access to the town and sailing opportunities.

Our stay at the villa was unforgettable. The panoramic view of the lake, sunsets and mountains took our breath away daily. The villa is spacious, very clean, and perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay, whether you’re a family or a group of friends. Even though the weather was spring-like, the warm outdoor pool with jacuzzi features made it a joy to swim and relax throughout the day. The kitchen had everything we needed, and both sauna and hammam were great highlights. I can also mention outdoor sauna with a view over Como and mountains, from which you can go into relatively cold plunge/shower also outdoors - and then back to sauna to enjoy the view and relax. The villa is peacefully located right on the lakefront. There was a barbecue area, though we didn’t get a chance to use it. Special thanks to Alizée for being so attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The sweets for breakfast were delicious! The only downside? Time passed too quickly — we truly didn’t want to leave!

Everything. The place was amazing. The staff was very warm, helpful, professional and welcoming.

Communication with Alizee was excellent, she was lovely, we drove from the UK and were delayed due to an accident but this was no issue for Alizee and she arranged for us arriving late. The location and views are absolutely fantastic. It was a very spacious villa, the bedrooms all ensuite, the facilities were great, sauna etc. Lots of outside space, different areas for different activities. Parking for our three cars was spacious. It was our twins birthday the day after our arrival and Alizee arranged for a personalised birthday cake to be delivered, above and beyond!

Beautiful villa with lovely gardens in a quieter part of the Lake Como area. The beach and Onnolulu bar (for drinks and kayak rental) are just across the road. Alizee and her team do a great job of making sure that the guests are looked after.
