We absolutely love SureStay. This is our 4th stay, and we always have a lovely time. The staff is helpful and kind (Doris is our fave), our room is always clean and comfortable. This time, for my birthday, we got the King suites with the jacuzzi tub....fantastic. Perfect for unwinding and relaxing in this chill weather.

Stay in the king size room bed was very comfortable, and there was a Jacuzzi tub, which was nice because I was playing golf all weekend. Cost for the room compared to others in the area was very reasonable. Hotel cross parking lot to the pool nice size and well kept. Also restaurant right next-door that has excellent food.

This was my second time staying at this cozy and comfy hotel. My friends and I came for a girlfriend birthday celebration weekend. Our room was spacious and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. I usually have trouble with hotel beds but I slept quite comfortably on my bed. The hotel is situated up on a hill and kind of hidden away, which was fine with us. It was quiet and serene. We also enjoyed the outdoor pool. The water was wonderful! The temperature was just right. Oh and don't forget to eat breakfast! We were impressed with the variety and quality of the food. We highly recommend staying here. It's great value for the price.

Room was VERY clean and comfortable. Also very quiet. Dolores at the front desk was pleasant, friendly, and efficient. Restaurant right next to the hotel was great. Service was amazing and the food delicious. Can’t say enough about our stay. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the Clover cabin, which was great. It was simple but clean, comfortable, quiet and cozy. The only downside was that the sauna and jacuzzi at the pool were under maintenance so we couldn’t used it. Breakfast at the Treetop restaurant was very nice and greatly priced.

Beautiful property, slightly off the beaten track. The room was super clean, we really enjoyed the Jacuzzi bath, and the surroundings are peaceful and lovely. Definitely would come back if we were in the area.

The hosts and staff were lovely, the cabin was in a quiet forest full of mature 80 foot high trees. We loved the salt water pool. Our two teenagers enjoyed the game room in the main lodge. The restaurant was very well kept and inviting, with window views of the forest or the lake. We had a few minor complaints - the fridge in our room smelled like rotten fish. We chose to wait until check out to let them know since we didn’t put much in there. And the jacuzzi or hot tub were not functional, big bummer! Overall we enjoyed ourselves and would come again!

My jacuzzi in my room was pretty good and the Valentine’s Day dinner was great. The pool and hot tub at pool was amazing even if the hot tub didn’t seem to be fully functional. Would’ve liked the other amenities to be ready (some things seemed like under maintenance or things were being added) but I can see this resort is a great option for the area. Game room was cool too. Overall excellent. Will probably come again!

Enjoyed our getaway at this location, but wanted to share some tips that weren't on the site. There is NO wifi or tv in the cabins. And they can be tough to find if you're arriving at night. Also, the cabins are not equipped with real dishes, or things like corkscrews, but they're looking to add them. Also the jets in the bathroom jacuzzi didn't work. As of May 2025, the restaurant and bar is still closed after a Jan. fire, but that's also not noted anywhere on the site when making a reservation. All in all, had we known what to expect, we could have been better prepared, and we did enjoy the space!

Gracious, historic inn with lots of welcoming, antique lobby furnishings. Beautiful gardens with outdoor seating spread out among the shaded patios. At night, fairy lights in the tree make the garden feel magical. The front porch rocking chairs were perfect for sunny, morning coffee (with complimentary coffee service set up just off the lobby.) Our room in the historic building was bright & comfy, and nicely updated with coffee maker, refrigerator, big closet and large bathroom. The Morgan Tavern downstairs served a fantastic dinner (both the crabcake & pork shank were amazing!). Four of us enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant - very reasonably priced, generous servings.

A historic hotel which has a restaurant, bar, spa, gift shop attached. The communal areas in the lobby were relaxed and decorated with interesting historic items and the staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. Parking was plentiful and easy. The bar served a good range of beers and food. Breakfast in the restaurant was particularly good for both services and food. Beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. The hotel is well located to the other shops and attractions in Berkeley Springs.

Good location. Within walking distance to shops restaurants and park. Room was very roomy. No carpet which is good and bad. Bed was fairly comfortable. We were in the building behind the Inn. Furniture is old but in good condition. Water pressure very good .The main Inn is old but has charm. The food in restaurant for dinner was delicious, for breakfast not so good but I heard people say their breakfast was delicious. The restaurant staff were very nice.

Loved the restaurant and pub! The food was amazing! Our server was very helpful in deciding what to order and very attentive, checking on us multiple times. Our room was very clean and spacious. The front desk crew were so friendly and helpful. Loved everything about our stay!

Front desk service was excellent -- staff courteous, cheerful and accommodating. I definitely appreciate Logan and the exceptional service he gave during both of my stays. Well done, and one of the reasons I will continue to come back. My bed was firm and comfortable and allowed for a good night sleep (highly important). My rooms had good lighting and all the necessary amenities (I stayed once with my dog, and once without in the historic section -- absolutely charming). I love that the hotel is pet friendly (certain designated rooms) and that there is no carpet in the pet-friendly room (appropriate for pets, especially for cleanliness). During both stays I enjoyed a quiet end room. Pet friendly room featured easy access to the out of doors. The Inn's outdoor spaces have lovely plantings and shade, perfect for hanging out, lounging and reading. There were lots of nice places at Inn and close by to walk my dog. The State Park with green space and Roman baths, just adjacent to hotel, is a definite bonus feature.

Basic roadside motel offers plenty of parking, clean comfortable bed, hot shower with supreme water pressure, walk across the street to the bar/restaurant then down the path to the main road where you'll find a large park, Sheetz gas station, liquor store, movie rental, antique store, plus more. Pet friendly. Don't expect Ritz Carlton concierge service this is a Motel. 5 stars this place does more than what you expect for the price.

This was a great little hotel. The owner was very, very friendly and helped get me into an accommodating room right away. The area was very nice. I felt safe. I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you are on a budget. Very budget friendly but clean, friendly and safe. Nice area.

We only stayed one night in the motel, but the lady who checked us in was very nice and helpful. Our room was clean, and very cute. We had a single bed and the bed was comfortable. The shower was hot. We really enjoyed the older feel of the building. It was very relaxed. My friend had a room with 2 queen beds and both of our rooms had a small pullout couch. We were exploring Berkeley Springs so the motel was very convenient and the price was wonderful. Would most definitely stay again.

Good value. The property is dated, but clean, comfortable, and located near the C&O Canal trail. A good restaurant is located direclty across the road. The staff has helpful and provided a hose for washing our bicycles and safe bike storage.

My husband and I visited Hancock to rent e-bikes and explore the Western MD Rail Trail and C&O Towpath. This motel was a great base camp for that purpose. It's an old 1950s-style motel, and the shower head didn't work, but there was plenty of hot water for a bath, the beds were fine, the room was clean, and there was even a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The road in front of the hotel is high-traffic and narrow, but in just a few blocks on sidewalks we could reach the bike shop and trail, and the other amenities of the small town. There's also a restaurant right across the street which serves a good breakfast starting at 8 am most days.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Quiet location. We were there on business (in Berkeley Springs WV) and the drive is a convenient 15 minutes. The breakfast is minimal. We will definitely return next year.

Was biking through on the trail so the hotel with a comfy bed and a shower was a welcome stop. They did allow us to keep our bikes with us in the room which I appreciated. The breakfast was pretty non-existent ( had oatmeal, cereal and 1 type of granola bar, that was it). It was quiet though. It was pretty clean. Bathroom had some peeling paint, but it appeared they did attempt to make improvements.

Clean & comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. A little awkward to get to but worth it.

We stayed one night after cycling. The staff is excellent, friendly and helpful with local information to get situated for the evening. Hose and towels available to clean off muddy bikes. The rooms are a bit dingy. Only one light side table light(instead of usual one per side) bathrooms need renovation. Otherwise I slept well. Breakfast not to my liking, so I skipped.
