Hotels with Jacuzzi in Room in Burgundy

We had another beautiful stay at this luxurious hotel in the heart of the Burgundy countryside. We were so impressed on our first visit, that it has become our favourite destination to break the journey when travelling between Calais and Nice. The suites are spotlessly clean, the beds are super comfy, and the private courtyard with hot tub and deck chairs feels like a little piece of paradise.

Placed right in the middle of beautiful, green landscapes. Very calming! Everything was classy and we felt like we are in an old movie. The facilities are well taken care of and the staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and be visiting again.

Wow great place to stay, we had the attic room which was immaculate and so well equipped. Breakfast was fab too and served to our room. Visited the restaurant which was not on site and wow what a location!

I had the most incredible experience staying at À la Renommée Hotel in France. From day one, Laurence and Stéphanie, the lovely owners, made me feel so welcome and were incredibly helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. The view from my room was absolutely stunning, and the bedroom itself was cozy and beautifully decorated. I truly felt at home throughout my stay. It’s also worth noting that the hotel is only a 30-minute walk to Vézelay, with breathtaking views along the way, following the pilgrim’s path. It’s a lovely and peaceful walk. A big thank you to Laurence and Stéphanie for making my visit so special. Also, I have to mention that the wine, honey, and fresh truffle they sell are absolutely amazing! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a charming, welcoming, and peaceful getaway. Very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent and the owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful as was the cleaning lady.

Very cute, comfratable, large room, good water pressure/temperature, the shower-tub combo was perfect. I would stay here again. However, the check in isn't right on Hotels.com. It says that you have to contact the property for check in instructions and lists a phone number. It took us multiple attempts to reach the hotel, and when we did get through they said they didn't speak English and hung up (the listing says they speak English and French). When we got there, the gate is closed and says to check in across the street at the bar. It was very easy to park and get checked in (we were inside the check in window 4pm-8:30pm) so don't stress, like we did, if you cannot call ahead.

This was our third stay at Chateau de Challanges. The new owners are extremely professional, friendly and welcoming. They are gradually renovating and modernising this beautiful historic property, while maintaining many original features. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, and is due to be refurbished, so we were not surprised that the decor was not very modern. The newly revamped swimming pool area is lovely, providing a larger sunbathing area with modern seating. Breakfast is very good and there is very easy access to Beaune and the wine route, as well as to the motorway.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at this hotel. Our room was one with a jetted tub, which was fabulous. We had a sitting room and a bedroom, which was spacious and tastefully decorated with antiques. Totally worth the upgrade. Hotel Challenges was the perfect home base for exploring Burgundy. You will need a car, as the hotel is a mile outside Beaune. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The first day they gave us maps and suggested restaurants in the area. Breakfast was great, lots of choices. We used the pool once and found it crowded, but it was clean and well-maintained. The best thing about this hotel was the resident tabby cat. Very regal and happy to be petted.

The chateau was very clean and room was nice. The bed was comfy. Breakfast for 16 euros was enjoyable and had bread and protein choices with fresh fruit and expresso maker. The pool was heated and clean. We enjoyed our stay. Staff was helpful making dinner reservations.

Very happy with this attractive authentic chateau in a very quiet situation easy to locate a short distance from the motorway. We didn’t walk around the grounds or see the pool as it was inclement weather. The room was immaculate albeit very small but it was the least expensive but next time I would upgrade to have a separate bathroom. For an overnight stop it was fine - breakfast was adequate apart from the lack of fresh coffee-only a machine and the coffee from that was not the best. I think it might have contained powdered sweet milk. We were booked into a very nice nearby restaurant so the lack of a restaurant wasn’t a problem- good secure parking.

Excellent breakfast with different choices every day. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff - especially Vanessa. Effective and quiet air conditioning. Lovely, well maintained pool area with sun loungers. Great location 10 minutes from centre of Beaune. Good choice of TV channels, including BBC News. Good hairdryer. User-friendly safe with light so avoid risk of leaving something behind.

Everything was perfect. A lovely spa, fabulous staff, great food and so lucky to get a hottub in our room. Thankyou so much for that, a great finish to a very long day driving.

The hotel is amazing. The rooms are luxurious but not in an over the top way. The beds are comfortable. Everything is high quality and there is great attention to detail. The restaurant is very good with dishes that make the most of the fresh vegetables that are grown in the hotel garden. Breakfast buffet is varied and the ingredients are fresh. The staff are very courteous, professional and friendly.

Great home base for exploring the Burgundy region. The hotel was spacious and welcoming. There is a beautiful garden in the back that is really special. The chef does an excellent job. The staff at every level were extremely professional. We enjoyed an informal light dinner on the patio, had drinks in the bar one evening, breakfast in the dining room, and had dinner at the restaurant. Everything was superb and the service was exceptional. The freshness and quality of the meals was worth remarking on.

Very attentive staff and they looked after my wife who is coeliac. Very professional but very friendly. From the reception the room and the restaurant you could not ask for more. We rate this hotel first class and would highly recommend if you want a peaceful clean comfortable and extremely helpful pleasant staff. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Perfect location. Friendly and accomodating staff. Comfortable beds, very well appointed rooms. We even stayed in the room above the restaurant the first night and found it to be very comfortable with a gorgeous modern bathroom. WiFi is free and high speed. Make sure to eat dinner at l'Bistro that is onsite.

Perfectly located in the heart of Beaune. Convenient for local bars and restaurants. You can pre-book parking or get access to a local car park a few minutes walk away. Lovely clean, quiet and charming room. Attentive staff. English spoken.

This hotel is just steps from the central square within the walled portion of the city. Our room was lovely and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. The bathroom was large and gorgeous with every possible amenity. The staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful. Parking (an important necessity) was available through the hotel at 15 euros a day at a garage conveniently located a short walk away. Beaune is absolutely beautiful and wonderful for walking, including along the ramparts on the wall surrounding the center. Hotel-Dieu is fascinating with a good self-guided tour. And there are plenty of good shopping and dining options within a short walk.

My husband and I stayed at L'Hotel Beaune for a portion of our honeymoon. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this hotel. The room, while small, was clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent. Morgan and Thomas were welcoming and extremely helpful. Both offered excellent restaurant suggestions and the winery tour operator was above all expectations. We highly recommend staying here.

Great stay. Service was professionnal, friendly and very helpful. They even made reservation for us to go wine tasting. The hotel bar was great and the staff very friendly. They prepare a very nice iced coffee with vanilla. Ask for it, it's not on the menu. Location is very convenient with the tramway just outside the hotel and the mall next to it. There is a small but a nice swimming pool with a table to drink your cocktail with your feet in the water. Room was well equipped, clean, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was great. Definitely recommend.

Geoffrey was such an excellent representative of the hotel. He was friendly, helpful and accommodating and we can’t praise him enough. The maitre d in the restaurant was also helpful and friendly and recommended a delicious dinner selection for us.

The best aspect of this hotel is the location. It is right on the tram line into the center of Dijon and the trams run frequently. Comfy rooms, close to shops and restaurants, great breakfast, small but fun pool and lovely and clean sauna and steam room too. We use this hotel as a stop over on our journey to the south of France, it’s expensive but ensures our family of four all get a good nights sleep and a good breakfast before setting off again. Staff have always been very nice.

We had a very pleasant stay in Holiday Inn. The hotel is adjacent to a shopping center which was a bonus, and is about 15 minutes drive from center of Dijon. The hotel itself is very clean, the staff are welcoming and friendly. The restaurant serves exceptional quality, delicious food, a bit pricey but worth it.

Jessica showed us different rooms and choice you upgrade for only €10. we opted for an upgrade with private parking and access to our room. room 5. highly recommend. The property is set in beautiful gardens with an amazing pool. the breakfast was superb. we ate outside. the rooms were modern and clean. the bed very comfortable.

I'll begin first with the good: the hotel itself is easily accessible to Beaune and the people who work there friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the pool and a glass of wine on the terrace in the afternoon. It's a pleasant and affordable launch point for Burgundy and we liked having our own private entrance from which to come and go. Wifi worked well and the bed was comfortable. That said, for most, this is a family-oriented place, from screaming babies and young children to yapping dogs. In the mornings as people prepare to set off for their day it is especially loud and because of this, I would not recommend unless you're a early to rise type. By 9am the noise level was truly exceptional. It also lacked a couple of creature comforts: no safe, mini fridge or iron (though to woman at the front desk let me use the industrial iron). It verges on budget in some respects, but is certainly good for those looking for an economical stay with free parking. You must have a car, as it's only 10 minute drive to Beaune, but would certainly be a bit of a pain by foot.

Great place to stay just outside of Beaune. The rooms are very clean, basic but the bed is really comfortable with lovely fresh white bed linens. The staff are lovely, very helpful, they recommended a great Restaurant just across the street for our dinner and the food was fabulous and very reasonable. I would stay here again.

Relaxed, cosy little hotel five minutes drive from the beautiful old town of Beaune. Colourful market on Saturday morning. The staff were welcoming and hospitable. Simple but hardy breakfast. The kids enjoyed the pool. Clean, comfortable, air-conditioned rooms. My family would definitely return!

The hotel is situated just of the main motorway and close to a petrol station. It is set in a quiet location and has wonderful car access to the rear of the bedroom which makes life very easy to unload and for your pet.It is clean and reasonably well equipped. We did not use the restaurant for dinner or breakfast. There is an extra charge for parking and your pet which wasn't made clear at the time of booking.
