Location is amazing, within the Quebrada de las conchas, 15/20 mins away from Cafayate center. outstanding location. You sleep literally in the middle of a winery. Amazing pool, beautiful garden. Great breakfast. Wine tour and tasting included in the price. very recommended! Sol, the Enologa was super friendly and explained a lot of things! staff is very attentive and nice. we stayed 2 nights in a room with the vineyards view and a balcony, where we had our breakfast. Amazing! we had dinner 2 nights in the restaurant of the hotel and it was tasty, with good prices.

Situated some 18km outside Cafayate - so car is essential. Fairly new hotel attached to a (quiet) winery. Our room (called Merlot) on the first floor had a view from the corridor (through glass) of the modern, clean stainless steel grape fermenting vessels, We were treated to a free wine tasting one one evening and on the next evening to a pre-dinner tour of the winery (which was processing a vat of Cabernet Sauvignon) and the new and immaculately clean barrel room where the red wines were quietly maturing in oak barrels accompanied by thousands of bottles of various red wines. A limited menu of freshly cooked food with a wine list consisting of wines produced on the bodega. Lovely views of surrounding mountains from the balcony of our room and great fun watching the herd of goats being led out by the shepherd in the morning. Lovely clean family owned hotel with friendly and efficient service. Very reasonably priced accommodation and meals - strongly recommended!

This small, ecological winery is located 18 km on the road from Cafayate to Salta. Follow the km indications, turn left on a gravel road and drive for about 3 km and you are in the countryside. There is NO sign from the main road. We had to ask a truck driver to find it. Very quiet and nice, rustic family hotel, lovely little pool, table and chairs outside under shady trees. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, fridge, tv, small balcony, very good bathroom. Intimate and cosy as there are not so many rooms. Nice lounge. A bit dated, but we were not bothered by it. Ok wifi in lobby and lounge, but not in our room, Cabernet Sauvignon. Interesting and informative guiding in the wine cellars and very good wine tasting. Affordable wines for sale. Delicious a la carte dinner and breakfast. Very pleased with the service and location. Surrounded by magnificent mountains. Would have been even more perfect if there were more options for walking in this stunning landscape.

We just returned from a 2 night stay in Cafayate at La Casa de la Bodega. If you can't relax here, you have a problem! The property was beautiful, like a country home. Our room was huge and very tastefully decorated in a rustic, modern motif. I believe there are properties near Cafayate that are more posh/refined/upscale (and expensive), but part of the charm for me when I travel is to find a more authentic experience. We do not have much Spanish (which would be useful to have) but we did not have any problems. The staff were all very nice and accommodating with our language limitations. The hotel is approx 18km from the town and about 3km down a dirt road off of Rte. 68. It is very well signed. We thoroughly enjoyed being out of the town yet close. A car is necessary, though. The meals were delicious (had both dinners there) and their wine was good. The pool was refreshing. The wifi did not reach our room, but we were on the far end. There was a super cozy lounge area upstairs near the rooms and also on the main level with big comfy sofas with lots of pillows. Wifi was available in both of these rooms. The room a/c worked great! Oh, the night sky was amazing... Never saw the sky quire so big. If you want to completely chill out for a few days, I recommend a stay here. I would stay here again and forego the places that charge 3 times as much.

We had an amazing stay! Room was huge, very comfortable with all the necessary amenities, l very friendly and helpful staff, we were treated very nicely.. The Wine tasting tour free of charge was a nice surprise. Surroundings are very pretty, swimming pool cosy, very good breakfast with a lot of choices. Would definitely recommend!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, new, well kept and super clean. The rooms are very big, the bed is like sleeping on a cloud, and the shower is massive. The hotel is located a 5 minute walk from the main square, with easy access to all restaurants and walking distance from a number of bodegas. It has free parking. Check in was super smooth and David made sure he showed us round, explained timings for breakfast and pool areas, and settled us into the room. The room is bigger than expected, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed is a dream, we slept incredibly well. Breakfast is plentiful and varied, and the staff will make you eggs on request at no extra cost. They will also provide you with lactose free alternatives and if you have discussed any dietary requirements prior to your arrival they do everything they can to accommodate these. The pool is fantastic, set in a beautiful courtyard. They also have a terraced area where they provide snacks and wine tasting or wines by the glass. A wonderfully equipped hotel, lovely style, well built, and with the most wonderful friendly and polite staff. We loved staying here and highly recommend it.

Beautifully restored colonial building, tastefully decorated. Large rooms with very comfortable beds with high quality linens. Breakfast is great with good variety of food, home made jams, freshly squeezed orange juice, scrambled eggs available. The staff is very friendly and professional. Special kudos to Victoria who served our breakfast. The location is a short block from the central plaza. Our windows faced a courtyard, so it was very quiet.

Villa Vincuna is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the main Plaza, where there are lots of bars and restaurants. Our room was spacious, as was the bathroom. The courtyard areas are colourful and it was nice to have somewhere quiet to sit. Breakfast was very good, with eggs to order if required. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Perfect location right in the center of the city. The staff couldn’t have been nicer (we even got a free upgrade!). Rooms were spotless, spacious, and super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented – honestly the best breakfast table we had on the whole trip. Highly recommended!

Staff was receptive, kind, and accommodating. The rooms were clean, comfortable, warm and inviting. I loved the entire space from the little touches of home - the dining room, open air terrace, beautiful plants and garden, so much sun light, etc. I enjoyed having breakfast and coffee with staff always available and attentive to guest needs.

Everything! From checkin through to leaving it was the perfect stay. The staff were exceptional catering to our every request. Breakfast on both mornings we stayed was delicious. It is a quiet spot near the square with some very good restaurants and wine cellars.

On arrival, along gravel road through a vineyard and last the hotels bodega (esteco wine including the amazing Don David wines) the backdrop of the mountains is stunning. Hugo (one of the amazingly helpful concierge team) collected our bags and walked us into the hotel through beautiful courtyards and explaining the history. Checkin was swift and friendly (as were all interactions with the staff). The room was spacious and surprisingly cool (actually slept without aircon and just a gentle breeze through Windows (thanks to bug screen). The hotel itself was beautiful and tranquil with plenty of quiet spots to sit and relax. The pool area was amazing, views of the mountains and the hotel making it very soothing. The food was amazing and despite being there for several days there was no chance of getting bored with the menu and i left without managing to try all the deserts! Obviously the wine was very tasty. We even manage to sample an asado style meal on Christmas eve. All in all this was an amazing hotel and would love to return (just stay longer the next time)

The hotel is beautiful, tranquil and maintained to a high standard. My colonial room was huge, quiet and very comfortable. The patio restaurant is very appealing, as are all the common areas, and the staff is very helpful and professional. Attached to the bodega, it is located on the edge of town so it’s a half hour walk to the centre.

We booked on short notice and were very pleased with the facilities and especially the staff. The restaurant meals were excellent. The llama carpaccio was unique, beautifully plated and very tasty. We congratulated the chef on her menu and the individual items - great expertise and execution. For our first evening meal we sat outside where we were treated to both a lightning storm far away in the mountains, and the rise of a full moon. Spectacular! Our server (Jonatan) was attentive, polite and professional. When we showed particular interest in the wine list, he provided excellent advice for the wines and vintages available from the adjacent winery. (Their signature varietal, Torrontés is spectacular.) Our only small complaint is common to many hotels - the lighting in our room was pleasant, but certainly not bright. The bed and other facilities were clean, comfortable and fully satisfactory. On our way back through Cafayate we stayed elsewhere, but returned for another excellent meal.

Walk into Cafayate through the vineyard takes 10 minutes. Beautifully restored building with nice relaxed bar/seating outside overlooking the pool. Spacious pool area. Staff very friendly and helpful Rooms comfortable but quite dark. A great place for a relaxing 2 day stay while driving Ruta 40.

top hotel, very modern and cozy. staff was extremely friendly and helpful. the Spa is extraordinary with all the facilities it offers. breakfast and dinner was delicious and more than plenty.

Amazing value for what was provided. We had a free upgrade and were given the extra luxury suite instead of the room we had originally booked. I think it could have been something like 90m² and had the largest, most luxurious bathroom I had ever seen, as well as the largest amount of towels per person of any room ever. The view was great. The staff was nice and available to satisfy any of our requests. We enjoyed the free saunas, both dry and humid, and swimming pool, as well as a nice massage (not included in the price). The restaurant provides amazing meals for extremely reasonable prices, providing mostly local cuisine. Check-in and check-out processes were easy and the parking spot for our pick-up truck more than abundant.

The personnel is exceedingly helpful and friendly. They paid great attention to the details, and we felt spoiled. The restaurant's food is delicious, and the wine selection is superb. The room service is high-speed. The property is luxurious and very well decorated. The surroundings are beautiful, and the gardens are very well maintained.

Remote located hotel with a gigantic view on the name giving "Los Castillos" rocks, which can be viewed directly from some of the rooms - which we could from ours. The rooms are big, nice and everything is clean. Everything is nicely decorated. Dinner and breakfast were good - especially dinner is not to pricy, which is quite important, if you stay in such a remote location. Stuff was friendly and helpful. Towels for the pool were provided. The pool is nice and cool, at the nearby lake we could spot ducks and flamingos. It's a great starting point to travel the Ruta Nacional 68. We should have spent more days there.

Lovely staff, delicious dinner, good breakfast. Besides a great pool there was a pond with fish the kids loved feeding. 2 nights stay was perfect. Though it seems a hotel booked by a lot of couples we felt perfectly at home as a family

The view from the room and swimming pool was amazing. The staff arranged horse riding which was a nice adventure and took care of us during breakfast. The wine yard is close, you can walk there. I would much prefer this secluded hotel over staying in Cafayate center, personally.

The view from the huge window in the room was absolutely amazing. The food in the restaurant is of high quality and the portions are big.

After a stunning drive from Salta, we arrived at this beautifully situated hotel just outside town. The hotel is connected to a vineyard, which you access via the main drive, creating a charming and unique setting. Our welcome was warm, and our spacious room overlooked the lovely gardens. While tea-making facilities were missing—something we've found common during our trip—the overall comfort made up for it. The evening meals were exceptional, featuring estate-produced wines, and we enjoyed dining here both nights of our stay. The hotel also had a nice pool area, perfect for relaxing, and each evening, we were treated to a complimentary glass of wine, which was a lovely touch. We also took the wine tour next door, which was interesting and well worth doing if staying here. Throughout our visit, the staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable

We really liked this hotel. It’s in a good location very close to the square but also very quiet. The room was really large for a standard room with a comfortable bed, a safe and a (noisy) mini bar. AC was efficient and quiet. The breakfast was very pleasant with a good selection of home made fruit preserves and plenty of fresh fruit. They would make you eggs and fresh coffee too. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We played a game in the bar and the staff offered us water when we didn’t need a drink. They only spoke Spanish but were patient with my limited language skills. The pool area is very nice and the pool quite large although it is not heated so even in 33 degrees it was bracing. There is a spa and you can book a massage at a very reasonable price. It could be a bit noisy in the corridors if people weren’t considerate. There were a lot of children in on our first night who were noisy and the bedroom doors closed with a bang whatever you did. Also the blackout curtains on the bedroom windows were not wide enough.

Hotel in a lovely old building right in the centre of town - easy access to bars/restaurants/shops/museums. Hotel is really clean and rooms are spotless. Beds are big and very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Great that there is a car park - we noticed that this gets locked in the evenings for safety. Friendly staff. Overall a good stay and one of the best we couldn’t find in central location

Decent hotel for a 3 star. Attractive facade. Just off the main plaza so quiet. We stayed in a superior room which was spacious and functional if somewhat plain and could have done with a lick of paint. Only slight irritation is there is no desk or table if you want to use your laptop, although WiFi is rather slow. On site parking. Nice little pool and loungers even have cushions. Spa too, and I got an hours massage for just £21. Gym is poor and very hot! Breakfast buffet was reasonable, standard Argentian fare. Staff are friendly and want to be helpful but only speak Spanish. Overall, good choice for a few nights.

It is a good 3 star hotel. It has an excellent location just 50 meters away from the main square where all the restaurants are located. The room was comfortable and spacious and had all the essentials. The hotel itself was also very nice, it has a game room, a fairly large pool and a gym, that although it does not have many options, allowed me to maintain my training scheme. It also has its own parking place for cars which is very convenient. The only issue that I would highlight was that the breakfast was very incomplete, above all, it did not offer any protein source of food or gluten-free options (it was literally the realm of wheat flour). Now, the staff was super helpful and offered to prepare scrambled eggs that were sent to my room. In short, I would recommend this hotel since the price-quality ratio is very good and it is probably the best option for a good affordable hotel in Cafayate with an unbeatable location.

The property was very lovely, and the room was quiet, comfortable and clean - it feels very new still. The pool was very nice after a warm day of wine tasting. We were on the ground floor and it was nice to sit on the patio outside and watch the sun on the mountains. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful (they helped us exchange money as we were running low on cash) and always available. Delicious and large breakfast!

We were very pleased with our choice of hotel. The cleanliness is outstanding - it was a pleasure to be both in the room and in the lobby. The breakfast was truly excellent: a wide selection of dishes, all fresh and delicious. A special highlight was the stunning view of the city from our window - especially impressive in the morning and evening. An excellent place for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

A very clean , modern hotel with beautiful decor. Beds were comfortable and the staff were very helpful in securing reservations for lunch and wineries. About a 10 minute drive from downtown. The breakfast was tasty with a good variety of food.

Lovely host, very welcoming! Very clean, open space with lovely lighting. Our room was great, also very clean and cosy. Shared bathrooms were good, didn’t have any problems waiting, also very clean :) can’t fault this place, the price is great. Slight walk into the centre but there are some great parrillas very close and shops etc.

All areas had comfortable seating allowing you to relax outside of your room in seclusion. Friendly staff and comfortable room with nice large bathroom. Good value and central location.

Everything! The guys at the hostel were the nicest ever, super laid-back and friendly, and they were also very helpful with arranging things to do in the area. There are two super friendly dogs as well! The garden is very cute and the bar in the back (when open) has a cool atmosphere. I ended up staying an extra night, including New Year's Eve. There is breakfast, it is standard Argentinian (toast, marmelade, dulce, coffee, fruit). The location is also super, right at the main square (not that Cafayate is so huge). Beds were comfy and clean, the room did not get heated despite the tempreatures outside.

The room was lovely, so spacious and comfy. All the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The bar and restaurant at the back is so beautiful, I didn’t want to leave. They also have 2 beautiful dogs and a cute cat.

The hostel is really nice and clean. The bedsheets were really comfortable -il tried other hostels and it wasn't nearly that good. A huge plus is the bar in the hostel, with very affordable prices. Overall, perfect experience. Mika even prepared ahead of time a breakfast for us as we left early.

Perfect location, cozy hostel with a nice garden and a cheap restaurant in the hostel. Kitchen is well equiped and the breakfast was very good. In general very clean. And has a nice atmosphere. Bikes are available to rent.
