One of the friendliest receptions ever, very personable and available to answer any questions and greet you to your rooms. Amazing location, quick walk to city center. The bathtub in room with bathtub is amazing and actually large enough for tall people! A rare find, perfect for relaxing after lots of walking. Very quiet area for sleeping. Amazing breakfast, thanks to hosts making it feel like a family breakfast at home. The friendly service was really the highlight.

This is one of the cutest accomodations I've met. Handsome inside and out. As others said, quiet location but still very close to the centre. As it is just outside of the Unesco town centre, you can reach it by car without limitations. Expect some stairs to handle, some of them - leading to the breakfast cellar for example - are uneven, otherwise nothing too bad. Very thoughtful equipment of the rooms (matches, slippers, umbrella!), those small things that are very functional and some of them you don't necessarily include in your luggage. Our room creatively solved the historic window situation with shades. Immediately we got a quick briefing with a map: what to see, where the usual spots are. The laminated infosheet in the room comes with a restaurant recommendation. We tried 3 of the 4, and each were great in a different way. Ample room to put your necessities in the bathroom, great soap and shower gel. Long-wired hairdryer, spatious shower. We found the bed comfy as well. Oh and yes to the Egon Schiele repros! We loved the breakfast, diverse enough for a couple of days and of great quality. We were very happy with the hosts, to the point but smiling and with good energy. I understand they are not always available so you need to plan your arrival a bit. Parking was perfect, it is quite tricky to find first, so give them a call upon arrival to show you.

The pensions is beautiful and charming, very clean, and in a great location, just 7-10 minutes walk from the old town center. The owner Merkata is super friendly and helpful, she helped us with the parking arrangements and gave us a lot of nice recommendations for things to do and places to see. The room was clean, well-decorated, and had a very nice and spacious bath. We also opted for the breakfast option and were not disappointed - though it was small, it had everything one would need to start the day well, and Merkatra cooked us a very delicious egg and ham dish.

Stunning old but beautifully restored building, dining hall in a lovely cellar, super friendly staff, amazing and super fresh breakfast, warm breakfast cooked on order (different kinds of eggs or baked beans), room very clean, great bathroom & shower! 3 minutes (if that) to the centre of town. Thank you so much. You made my birthday even more special. Will definitely be back.

Pension Athanor is well situated on the edge of the touristy part of the old city. The room we had was unexpectedly huge, with a wonderful sitting area. We had breakfast there in the picturesque cellar, where they had a standard small spread of the usual breakfast items, but would cook eggs and potatoes any way you wanted as well. The attendant woman was charming and helpful with directions to the castle and advice for dinner spots. Make reservations for dinner, as the restaurants are small and the popular ones are packed. We ate at Krcma (charming cavelike interior with meats cooked on an open fire and other Czech food), and Papa's living (Italian food for a nice alternative to Czech food) - both were awesome. Beware of the walk from the train station if carrying luggage, as there are cobblestones and an 80 step staircase to get to the Pension. We took a taxi back to the train station for 250 Czech crowns, a 10min ride.

Stayed one night in early Aug, 2019 with my wife and 10 yr old daughter. I chose the hotel partially because they offered rooms for three and also for the great location. Our room was spotless and charming, with stylish modern bathroom, original ceiling beams, and an absolutely amazing view of the castle and river! Veronika checked us in, and was super friendly and helpful, with recommendations for dinner and a cheaper parking rate from the tourist info office. Tereza (the owner, I believe?) was very helpful and replied quickly in approving our email request to arrive slightly later than they ask, and again when we wrote for advice about parking and bringing the car around to unload. (You can bring a car into the old town in the early morning and late afternoon just long enough to load/unload at the hotel. Parking is available about a 7 min walk away for about 10 euros/day, and we had no trouble with availability in the late afternoon and early morning. Mid-day might not be as easy.) The rate included breakfast, which was delicious and had extensive choices, and while we didn’t have time to try it, there is an on-site restaurant with great castle views which does traditional Czech food and which smelled amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Arcadia and are looking forward to returning again!

Really enjoyed our stay. Teresa (owner/manager) was very helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and cool and comes with a small fridge/mini-bar. Rooms at the rear have a great view of the castle and river. Breakfast was included and a good selection of items available. Fresh bread and pastries were alternated through our 4 night stay. There is a restaurant/bar downstairs. We didn’t got to it but seemed popular. Would stay again.

The location of the hotel was just perfect and close to everything. The staff, especially Mrs Tereza was very pleasant and helpful. She was always smiling and gave us few tips. Owner of the restaurant was also very nice and recommended few other places where we could eat. Room was nice and spaces and we had an amazing view over looking the castle. Room was nice and clean and all we needed was there. It was quiet at night and breakfast was very nice too, with nice choices.

This hotel has a great location just a few doors from the garden that gives fantastic views of Cesky Krumlov. Down the hill and you are in one of the squares leading to the main roads of the old town and the riverside restaurants and bars. My room was quiet and clean with a good sized bathroom. Breakfast is provided and there is a restaurant/cafe with great views on the ground level of the hotel.

All outside was clean. Was calm place, each apartment has private places.

Excellent location for the lake view. Good breakfast. Nice garden and playground area for the children.

The surroundings were beautiful with a view of the lipno lake and a forest right behind the pension. The staff was very nice and kind.

The property is in a stunning village location with a lot of sightseeing opportunities. The guesthouse itself is very tastefully renovated and has a wonderful atmosphere. The owner was very helpful and friendly as we arrived very late and were exhausted. It was extremely clean and comfortable. We are definitely going back.

The accommodation was lovely and comfortable. It had some old character to it with exposed stone wall, even though it had been recently renovated. It was warm and the location was very good. The town itself is also really lovely. On arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to have been upgraded from the double room to a triple room. We would have loved to have stayed longer. The small communal kitchen was great for breakfast.

Very nice, fully renovated rooms in a 440 years old historical building. The rooms are small but clean and functional. Very silent during the night. The beds are comfortable. The only drawback might be that the bathroom is separated from the room only by a semi-transparent glass wall. There is a modern, equipped shared kitchen in the hall, including a refrigerator.

We didn't expect a kitchen that was at our disposal. It felt modern and medieval at the same time. At the time we arrived it was -5 degrees outside, but inside it was warm. Dog friendly as well :)

The boss is very kind and treats customers like family. The location is very close to tourist attractions, with convenient transportation and a 5-minute walk from the station. The room is clean and tidy. The free breakfast is very generous and great value for money. Shopping and sightseeing are convenient, and the living environment is quiet. The boss actively serves customers and makes it convenient for customers to pay the room fee in cash. I will come back to stay here in the future, so it is highly recommended.

The location was so perfect. It was very close to the castle but the streets were quiet at night. Breakfast was fresh, made to order and lovely. Great guide to town in the room with helpful restaurant recommendations.

The location is excellent, in the very centre of the old city. Nearby there is a car park number 2. The owners are friendly and helpful. The atmosfphere in the hotel is very nice. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable (I have never slept in a more comfortable bed). We highly recommend Pension Rozmarýna.

Our room was spotless, and quiet. The host was very helpful, before and during our stay. Breakfast was generous, and a bit of fun with the host and staff.

This is a self check-in accomodation, yet the host was very helpful and responsive, gave us immediate help when necessary. Also giving us some recommended restaurants & cafes that we enjoyed a lot! Location is comparatively close to the bus station but still need around 10 mins walk - prefer not to bring large luggage along as the roads in the town aren't smooth. It is quite close to everything - souvenir shop, restaurants, cafes and the castle! The room was clean and spacious, value for money too.

Pension Kristian by KH is well-located and newly renovated property in Český Krumlov, and we appreciated their attention to detail in terms of comfort and furnishings. Their towels were large -- and soft -- and the bathroom was expansive and clean. The large room (we were in Room 1) had a very comfortable bed, and it was beautifully decorated, with curtains that blocked light yet could be opened fully. The lighting in the bedroom was aimed at a relaxing level, but was fine for reading our devices and computers. To that end, the wifi was great! Eva prepared us a delicious breakfast, with yummy scrambled eggs, breads and fruit. I appreciated her suggestions for dinners in town (we would add *My Saigon* as a possibility), as well as places to see (the Castle gardens!) and she worked to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. We took her advice and walked up to the castle at night to see the town, and that was one of the highlights of our stay. I highly recommend Pension Kristian by KH!

This was an amazing stay! Kristian met us at the parking lot and helped carry our luggage to the pension which was located in the heart of this magical town. The room and the whole guest house was beautifully renovated - clean, stylish, romantic, gorgeous. The attention to detail was superb and the generosity with little snacks, excellent coffee on demand, umbrellas, restaurant recommendations etc. etc. were more than we could have asked for. Thank you Kristian for making our stay better than we could have imagined! We will be back!

In the pension we were taken care of by a very nice owner Kristian, he was very helpful and immediately on arrival gave us recommendations for good food or coffee and excursions. There were lots of little things in the guesthouse that added to the good overall impression of the stay (free coffee and tea, sweets, umbrellas to borrow or self-service minibar, which was constantly replenished). The room was very cosy, modern and nice. On warm days, air conditioning is a great friend.

Our apartment was exceptionally equipped. From jacuzzi bath and smart TV to bathrobes & cotton pads. All was super clean and matching the climate of the whole place. Breakfast was quite diverse and served in a lovely cellar restaurant. Parking is tiny but sufficient and we could leave our car on it even past the reservation time.

This small quiet hotel is a little gem of a place, I stayed in the tulip room as i am solo traveller and travelling around the world. This is my first review on hotels.com and I have been using this site for nearly two years and stayed in every kind of hotel and hostel possible, from 1 star to 5 star. Having just come from Prague and paid ridiculous prices , it was a breath of fresh air to find a hotel not out to squeeze every last penny out of a tourist. Garni Hotel Romantick is the best value for money I have come across, the hotel is spotless, friendly, free wi-fi, free secure parking(I am travelling on a motorbike), 10 mins walk along the river to the town centre, and the breakfast for 8 euros is the best i have had in a long time. It is next a road but the rooms have "quad" glazing! If only more hotels were like this.Perfect stay.!

Perfect location if you drive a car and want convenient & secure parking. Hotel very easy to find, with nice garden and plenty of outdoor sitting nooks. Just minutes from the inner town. Excellent breakfast. Our room was a bit smallish but OK for one-night sleep. Extremely soft mattresses. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was not open for dinner when we were there (weekday) but that limitation was understandable due to the Covid situation. The same applied to the two other places in the inner town where we wanted to have dinner. Would definitely stay again.

Such a great little place, I really enjoyed my stay. It was clean and quiet with really comfy bed and pillows. The wifi and the facilities were good and it had a really nice outdoor area. The staff were friendly and it is an easy walk into the main area. Breakfast was great and it even had gluten free options, which never happens to me.

We had an amazing stay at Penzion Krumlov - Massage Studio! From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were super welcoming – they showed us around, explained everything, and made sure we had everything we needed. The service was fantastic! The rooms were spacious and very clean, which made our stay even more comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and we loved the free coffee and tea during the day. The location is great – close to the city center, plus they let us leave our car after check-out, which was really convenient. And the massage absolutely worth it! The therapist is not only a true professional but also a great person to chat with. Highly recommend this place!

The staff is very helpful and helpful, speaks excellent German, which greatly facilitates communication. Great quiet location, ten minutes walk to the historic center. Very spacious and convenient private parking. Delicious varied breakfast, comfortable room. We were very satisfied.

A very good B&B! Quiet, good breakfast, parking place, at about 15 minutes away from the town by foot. Very friendly hosts. Free coffee and tea around the clock and beer and wine available at decent prices. Refrigerator available in the breakfast area to store some of your own food. We will gladly return. Loved the “safe” in the bedroom closet ;-)

Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms within walking distance of the main centre of Cesky Krumlov. The hosts of this property were the most helpful and friendly throughout our travels in Czechia. Breakfast was included and made for an excellent start to the day.

My wife and I stayed in the 2-bedroom "comfort apartment" located on 1st floor just above the bistro. The apartment was very comfortable and roomy for the two of us, the small kitchenette had all we needed for morning coffee and a couple simple meals in. The main room windows opened onto the courtyard-like street for a very nice vibe, helped by the decor in the apartment. Location is great - about 2 minute walk to the town square via several different routes/streets with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Everything is close - completely walkable location. We even walked our rolling luggage from the main Cesky Krumlov bus station (about 15 minute walk with a great viewpoint along the way) on arrival, but lots of bumpy cobblestones to roll the luggage over, so on checkout day the staff called a taxi. Our first night was Saturday and the bistro was lively until about 10:00 then quieted down completely by about 10:40, after that there was basically no noise from the street until morning. Sunday the bistro closed much earlier (afternoon) and Monday it was closed, so almost no street noise those evenings (the town quiets down a lot in the evenings after all the day tourists leave). All in all we had a great stay - the location, the vibe, and the helpful staff.

The pension is located on a hill, therefore the view from the garden is amazing! you can see the town on one side and the forest on the other. The garden was so beautiful! We didn't want leave it. So many amazing flowers and vegetables. The room was nice. They didn't have a room for a couple by the time we've booked, so we got a unit for a family. We didnt use the upper floor for the kids. The room with the double bed was nice, but small. The bed was comfortable, Breakfast had a nice variety.

The location was clean and quiet. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was very good. The site has a nice covered patio in back to enjoy a beer or a peaceful rest. A small kitchen can be used for food storage or cooking. There is room for car parking if driving.The pension is about a 15 minute walk from the bus station. Be aware that if walking the last two blocks is steep uphill. Overall the stay was excellent.

Everything was perfect. The room is nice, spacious enough, a bed with a comfy mattress( I didn’t want to leave it;)), big bathroom. There is a terrace overlooking the street, but the area is quiet, so we enjoyed spending there our evenings. Additionally, breakfast is really big and nutritious. Our stay was really enjoyable and we are thankful for that.

Penzion Balcony is a nice and cozy accommodation close to the old town and the castle. The owners are very friendly and helpful, making you feel truly welcome. The breakfast is delicious and satisfying, a perfect start to your day of exploring.

Very nice and clean accommodation. The hosts were very kind. Since it was Easter, we even received a complimentary chocolate gift. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The apartment also featured a large balcony. It was really pleasant to sit out there. The town was very close—about a 10-minute walk to the city center. The road is quite steep, but not too bad. In return, the view is stunning. We had our own free private parking.

Brilliant host, excellent location very close to the centre. The property was very clean and maintained with high standard. Both hosts were very friendly and accommodative. Nice choice of breakfast. Everything was explained on arrival including how to get to the centre. We even had a lift to the bus station. You two are amazing.

The place doesn't provide breakfast but there was a fully equipped kitchen in our room (it wasn't there before so we didn't plan to cook, but if we were to return we would plan for that at least for breakfast I think). The room we booked - the medieval-looking one with the stone floor and huge old wooden rafters and beams - was spacious and light, the bathroom spotless. The bed was super soft. The location is awesome, with a huge garden and a great view. The garden was all in bloom at this season. There is a big trampoline and some kiddy badminton rackets and a football, so the children have something to do outside, but there are also lounge chairs and small tables and a coffee-making room by the terrace. The terrace would be perfect for having breakfast in the morning!

We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and it was fantastic, and incredibly spacious area with a huge bathroom with a bathtub and shower. In particular we came in September and it got quite cold in the evening and were able to turn on the heating and really get the perfect cozy atmosphere. Incredible stay, highly recommended if you are staying with children as you can get all the privacy and space you need. to top it all off the garden view was absolutely incredible. Hosts were extremely helpful and showed us all the amenities and recommended excellent places for dinner and breakfast nearby. Very close to the castle and reasonably close to the nearby parking.

Excellent location, very clean and with a wonderful inside garden. One of the owners welcomed us, she was very helpful and friendly. She also gave us a map and explained us where to go, what to do, gave us restaurants and bar recommendations that ease our stay. The access to the main door was electric and easy to go in and out in the night. The best bar of the city and good breakfast and restaurant bars are just 2 minutes away (walking distance).
