We had a relaxed stay because they offer a comfortable bed, a refrigerator, a microwave and drinking water, it has a very pleasant living room, the bathroom is clean and comfortable, the room has an iron and a security box. For me it was an extra Plus that have a terrace. Perfect location, it is in the center of the city near the government and state offices. If you go to process or update documents, this location is perfect for you!

This is a self-serve style hotel, similar to an Airbnb. Keys are collected from a key locker, and instructions are sent via WhatsApp. The building is divided into two sections, so make sure you enter the correct property. It seems this setup may be updated soon. The room was cozy, though the TV was missing and the window blinds didn’t fully cover the window. The bathroom was fine, with good hot water and pressure. There is also a rooftop area that is still being developed. The owner was nearby and available if needed, which was reassuring. The location is very convenient, close to the main tourist attractions, shops, and restaurants. I would probably stay here again.

Awesome location, 1 min away from the central square and 3 minutes away from the governor's palace. Very clean and spacious room, really nice a/c, very silent location where you can rest. Cool that you don't need any keys or talk to the receprionist to get inside, every door has an electronic pin-code-based lock.

Spent just one night there. Just needed a room to sleep. Room was clean. Bed was clean and comfortable. The breakfast the next morning looked good but was not able to try it, we had to leave to meet up with family.

Breakfast was great , booking was easy and fast . I truely recommend booking.com for which I saved around $400 pesos. The linens are clean and fresh. For me a 5 star ⭐️

Extremely fast check-in, not even a minute, they were ready with the room information and very helpful with questions. Room was a little bit cramped in the bathroom / closet area, otherwise very comfortable and had everything we needed. Bed was extremely comfortable as well. Available towels are not enough for a family but you can ask for more, no issues. Pool is kept warm! Spent way too much time in the pool as a result. Breakfast includes the usual cereals/fruits/bread /oatmeal/juice plus the option to have eggs cooked how you want them, which is quite awesome, everything fresh and tasted excellent. Menudo on a Sunday was also excellent. Hotel is in one of the best areas in the city with great city views from the pool. Underground parking. All in all this hotel is an absolute gem, will be my only destination when visiting Chihuahua City.

Arrived late due to flight delays. There was someone waiting for us for check-in. Room Was comfortable and clean yet the shower head should be changed as it shoots water needles. Breakfast was good and the restaurant staff very friendly.

A Very comfortable hotel with helpful reception staff. There are some computers and printers for guest use. The breakfast is pretty basic but good enough for what the hotel is. The rooms are quiet, big and comfortable. Small gym.

Our stay went great. The staff was super friendly. The room and the entire facility was very clean. The breakfast was scrumptious at the buffet breakfast inside the restaurant. Sergio our waiter was super attentive. We only had a small hiccup after checkin to the hotel with only hot water and no signal for the tv in our room. We were relocated to a new room that was bigger and the rest of our stay was just wonderful. The only downfall is that they have some construction going on in the parking lot. I found a couple of nails and turned them in to the front office. Otherwise, I totally recommend the hotel. Bed was so comfy!!

We love the full service breakfast and restaurant in the evenings, in fact all day. However they did have a convention going on and we sat at the restaurant waiting to for someone to take our order for 45 minutes. Other than that food was great, staff was attentive.

Everything on this property was amazing, included but not limited to attention, very clean, very good food at restaurant, Confortable beds. Over all our staying was excellent.

This hotel is in a commercial part of Chihuahua and is convenient to access the University and is a little further from downtown. The checkin was easy and the room was comfortable. The bedding could have been of higher quality, but it was clean and the A/C worked fine. The bathroom was clean and soap and shampoo was adequate. The breakfast was good as well, plenty of fresh fruit, eggs, yogurt, granola and juice. There is a popular coffee shop just a short walk away.

The staff were very friendly and courteous. I locked my key in my room and they gave me another in a very respectful way. Another time, the key wouldn't work and again they came to the rescue in a friendly manner. The room was always clean with fresh towels and supplies each day. The maid left a thank you note on my suitcase my last evening which I appreciated very much. The breakfast bar was excellent and had a great selection. Overall, I had no complaints.

Hotel in walking distance from District One (Nice restaurants and bars), a shopping center with an S Mart (like a Walmart).Ladies, there is a salon around the corner, Estética Imelda, who can do a quick blow dry, flat iron or curl, very cheap. They do a fabulous job! The hotel has a small hot buffet breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt, small selection of pan dulce (sweet breads), scramble eggs, beans and a southern style attempt for chilaquilles ( corn tortillas with red or green chile sauce). Room were very clean.

The staff was super helpful, and welcoming. Breakfast was consistent, the fruit was fresh the eggs were real, the coffee ☕️ Perfect 👌🏻. Very filling. The have security at night which gave me peace of mind. I truly enjoyed my stay!!!!

The hotel do provide a free breakfast it is basic but it does the job. The hotel is located in a nice part of Chihuahua and is handy to get to most places you need to go. The WiFi is good and worked throughout the hotel.

While I have stayed at many 4 and 5 star hotels it was usually wasted on me because I never really used the services of any staff, my interaction usually was limited to the check in staff and if they didn't make me fill out my name and address by hand then that was perfect. My stay at this hotel changed my mind about how attentive and helpful staff can greatly improve your experience. Starting with the check in, My wife and I had been travelling for about 18 hours coming from Kelowna to Vancouver to Mexico city with a 7 hour wait from midnight till 7:00 am till we boarded the plane to Chihuahua. So when we went to check in at 9:00 am we where a little groggy, the check in people new we were on the morning train so suggested that we go right away to the restaurant and get our free breakfast. later that day they fixed us up with an english speaking cab and later that night when I asked for a cab to a certain restaurant, he asked what kind of food did we want and made a very good suggestion that was only walking distance from the hotel. Next day my wife left her brand new I phone under the pillow when we checked out, we did not discover it until we were at the train station, called the hotel and they checked the room and sent it over in a cab because there was not enough time to travel back and catch the train.

A nice, modern hotel that barely accepted our service dog (with papers), staff are young, the only bad thing really is the location but apparently lots of modern hotels, like Holiday Inn Express, are also in this freeway location.

I loved the location of the hotel and felt well 'looked after' in that I don't speak much Spanish so was put in touch with an English-speaking member of staff who helped me with booking taxis etc. The room was really comfortable and I was able to watch BBC News. I loved the pool area and the proximity of the Fashion Mall. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

We had an excellent experience, we stayed for one night. We were offered a free beer at the bar, for all the customers upon arrival in the afternoon. We had dinner at the restaurant and the meal was delicious and cheap, way cheaper than the expected, thou I asked for wine and the selection was definitely not the very best, they tried their best to offer something good to me. We learnt the hotel is best known for it hot breakfast buffet, which was well served. Tha hotel has a pool, which due to my travel time restriction didn't get to use but I would recommended as it's located in the middle ofa beautiful garden. It's a incredibly large hotel and the staff is friendly. The only hiccup was the business center which was useless.

The restaurant long hours were very convenient. The breakfast buffet was very good. The staff was friendly. The phone in my cousin's room wasn't working. They moved to another room, were neither the phone or the toilet worked. She had to go back to the 1st room with the busted phone.

A wonderful place everything was very clean, organized and professional. The billard room looks like it has turned into a storage for the extra tables and chairs from the downsizing of covid. Would be nice if they opened it back up but understandably with the last 2 years. Its a ways into town but the centro bus stop is right across the street and to the right. Taxis dont seem to venture out that way too much. We even saved the names and numbers of 3 drivers.. only one answered when we called him back. There is no hotel shuttle. Breakfast buffet was wonderful. And popular.

The staff is always helpful and friendly; looking to please. As I'm usually traveling alone, it's important that I feel safe; I feel safe in this hotel. I've stayed there three times so far, and will return.

Paid £40 for the night, which is not cheap round here, but certainly worth it for the added calm luxury and first class service. Good breakfast included, with as much as you like and attentive staff. Very much liked this place- they didn't bat an eyelid at this dusty biker collapsing at their desk, which is even more in their favor.

This Hotel is the best hotel close to the city's center, which is being renovated for the future. The staff is really nice and they took the time to make sure I was comfortable. I stayed there for 3 nights and whenever I go to Chihuahua, which is often, this hotel is always my first choice. The new pool is amazing and I am happy it is now indoors. The hotel is always spot free clean, which is very important for me and their breakfast buffet is delicious.

The hotel is nice. I arrived at 9:30pm. Greeted at the desk, they escorted me to the room. It was clean, the carpet was stained but understandable. The restaurant had good food very reasonable priced, breakfast very good. Choices excellent. The neighborhood seemed safe. Oxxo is across the street, KFC is down the street near hospital. A nice bar is 2 doors down. Uber is easy and cheap to use. The pool was very clean and enjoyable.

I searched all over for a hotel in mu budget before our trip. I found the best deal straight from Best Western site where they offered a stay two nights get one free deal. The shower is big, gets hot fast and the water pressure is better than at home in Colorado. The picture of the bulky tv is not accurate as we had a flat screen, wall mounted in our room and in my husband's brother's room as well. We ordered room service twice. The fettucine was okay. Creamy but had strips of ham in it. Breakfast room service was delicious. We ordered red chilequiles and green chilequiles and also flourentine omelet. All delicious although green was too spicy, at least according to my Mexican brother in law. Cofee is available 24 hrs complimentary which is conveniant. The room is spacious and I especially loved the full mirrors on the closet sliding doors. We went to the pool late about 7-9 and it was us and one small family. The pool is lighted and heated. There is not a hot tub. The smaller square at front of pool is same water just not deep, for kids. Hotel staff was pleasant. Sometimes someone spoke english but other times had to order food, etc in spanish but no big deal. The location is very close to downtown. We even walked once we realized how close. Taxis are awesome and unbelievably fast. Overall, we will be back soon and will definately stay at Mirador again.

The property has been renovated extensively. Hallway carpets were changed and flooring in rooms was upgraded. It is very clean and offers a goid breakfast buffet including fruit, vegetables, eggs, waffles, beans, and chilaquiles. It is safe and there are drugstores and convenience stores near by. Overall, a great value for your money especially for business travel!

Great stay close to the center. Was very comfortable and an amazing value for the price. The bed was very comfortable with big fluffy pillows and a nice cozy comforter. Probably the most comfortable hotel bed I've stayed in! The only reason I would rate 4 instead of 5 stars is because the heater wasn't working and it was wintertime with a not well insulated window that let in a lot of cold. Never got the room to warm higher than 22.5 degrees. There shelving next to the bed was also not wiped down, which surprised me because beside that the hotel and room felt very clean. Would absolutely stay again!

The atmospehere is quiet and cosy, views are nice and value for the paid price was excellent. Breakfast is very good, I came from a 4-star hotel in the same city and was much more worse: you have fresh products (fruit was very good), healthy items and enough variety.

The place was clean and well maintained and lighted , the staff very helpful and friendly, and the price was very reasonable, and the location very good close to downtown, we will stay there again next time

This hotel is one of the best options in Torreon. The room is comfy, no carpet and I was surprised that they cleaned the room every day so that was a big win for the hotel. The breakfast buffet is really good. Some days parking was a nightmare but most of the day everything was okay. Everyone is very friendly but my big shout out is for Tono in the bar. We usually travel with kids so the pool was a most unfortunately due the weather my kids weren’t able to use the pool. If you are traveling with kids and pool is a must then Crown Plaza is the best option. I will definitely come back to this hotel because the location is perfect, you have a Starbucks in the mall and a lot of great restaurants nearby.

The reception and dining area very welcoming recently decorated? Room 207 needs some TLC. New laminate floor but chipped desk surface, hot tap would not turn off fully, Bath surround untidy resealing. Window lock did not work. BNo safe in room. Despite these negatives the room was clean and bed comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurants to eat within Walking distance. We did not have time to go into Centro as we were only here for one night on our way to Creel. It was good for our purpose.

This was not my first stay at Fiesta Inn. I enjoy my stay, clean and friendly. The restaurant is pricey! I would prefer a free basic breakfast than a big costly buffet. We only ate one time. Later we decided to go out for breakfast.

Very friendly and helpful staff at check in and check out. We had lots of good restaurant options within 3 blocks. Room was super clean and quiet. This motel is on a quiet street and has multiple floors, so it spread out the ppl nicely.

We thought the hotel was great - Friendly staff, spacious clean rooms, and a great price. We had breakfast the next morning and it was a buffet and good food. We were even offered custom items such as an egg omelet.

Some maintenance details could be improved on the room, like bath door paint was bad, glass door for closet it’s to big and looks too fragile and didn’t lock properly it keep opening itself. Employees are friendly and breakfast leafy attended seems that she loves what she does.

Good hotel - not deluxe - but well appointed and upscale. Located well with a variety of restaurant options close by. Rooms clean average comfort and beds, plenty of electric connections and charging. Furniture basic, functional. Bathroom basic & functional. Breakfast was hotel minimal buffet. Pool was busy, but did not appear well maintained. Good personnel, and cleaning staff. Parking has minimal security. Principle features: clean, economical and well located.

A good place to stay in chihuahua, rooms although not modern are spacious and extremely clean. This is the best place i have stayed in terms of price vs quality. There are many good restaurants in walking distance and only a short uber away from district 1. I would stay again.

The stay was great !! The bed was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious ! Overall very satisfied!

- 1 out of the 5 rooms that I booked was not ready and I had to wait for around 30 min. - The breakfast area was so packed, waiting on the line for 40 minutes and I decided to have breakfast out of the hotel. - No hot water and the shower was broken. - Rooftop bar was closed and bad quality on the alcohol drinks served on the lobby.

This hotel was very nice. Located next to a couple restaurants. The shower was wonderful and the bed was very comfortable. I asked for reception to get me an airport transfer the night before I had to leave. They called the next am to let me know my car had arrived. That convenience was nice.

The area is outstanding! The check in was efficient and friendly. The rooms are a bit small but comfortable. Breakfast was good!

The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. Probably the best customer service in a hotel I have ever experienced in the world. The restaurant and bar were excellent, I loved sitting on the patio for a nightcap. Craft cocktails and food on an international cuisine level. The jacuzzi service was also awesome and definitely worth a try!

I booked this property for the VIP perks. Upon arrival they told me there were none. Our “perk” would be a smaller king room with an additional twin bed. The lobby was extremely noisy after hours. Very small breakfast. Tiny room. Their jacuzzi did not heat up even after three hour of advance notice to please heat the tub. Maintenance was called multiple times. I brought my guests to experience the VIP treatment of Expedua and Mexico but was very disappointed. I wouldn't stay again.

I was extremely pleased that my employer allowed me to spend my one-night stay here. It is centrally located in the historic Zona Centro and was an easy walk to the Pancho Villa home/museum. The hotel has a superb upscale restaurant and a full bar. Had I known about the Jacuzzi, I would have brought swim trunks. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was more than just satisfactory. Loved the large bathroom and walk-in shower. The bed was super-comfortable. If I had to criticize anything, it would be the thumping dance music pumped out to the patio (and within earshot of the restaurant). It went deep into the night. Some mariachi would have been much better.

Pero no llegó al 10, porque algunos detalles, que para mí son importantes, hicieron falta: el servicio fue muy bueno pero puede mejorar, la comida también es rica pero no la mejor, y las almohadas en el cuarto también deberían mejorar o bien ofrecer más opciones. Una tina en la habitación no estaría nada mal. En general, es una muy buena opción de hospedaje. Otro detalle que se me hizo de muy buen gusto fue el late check out, que siempre ayuda mucho en el último día.

Upon arrival the check in staff were most welcoming! They explained the times for meals at the restaurant. The continental breakfast was delicious! Not your average fruit cup and regular juice. They really made it delicious and gorgeous. The breakfast meals that are separate were amazing! The food was so good we ended up eating there once more for breakfast and another time for dinner. The staff are so friendly and take pride in their jobs. The appetizers were some of the best highly recommend the Gouda and ham croquetas. Also the drink options were amazing as well. Beds were great! Slept amazing and the rooms are very well taken care of. Very clean and ac worked perfect! The rooms are spacious and have a personal feel to them unlike chain hotels. Will definitely be staying here on our future trips. The staff at the restaurant are some of the best I have ever had. They made it such a great stay on top of everything.

The Hotel Sicomoro ( Sycamore ) is a very good place to stay at while visiting this wonderful City. It is the unofficial Hotel for the Chihuahua Cattleman´s Association, the Union Ganadera de Chihuahua. It is located a little way outside of downtown, but very close to many good restaurants and attractions. The rooms are very clean and priced good too. The restaurant at the Hotel is very good and has a bar too. I always enjoy my visits at this establishment. There is a tour operator that operates out of the Hotel for trips through the Copper Canyon on the Chepe Train.

ok, this isn't the Trump Tower. But for $50usd, i thought it was perfect. review stars need to to be within context. People complaining below seem to be expecting the States quality on a peso budget. This is a good neighborhood on busy street, ask for a room facing pool (away from road). You are at 4800' elevation in a valley of Sierra Madre Occidental, so the pool is coldish, but refreshing when the hoot sun is out. Good restaurant with moderate prices. Mattresses are sort of hard, but free bottled water, and excellent hot shower.

We stayed here because we couldn't find a room closer to downtown, but we didn't regret it. Everything was perfect! The city is not too big, so 15 minute taxi rides take you anywhere.

Nice rooms, very clean, Free Happy Hour (not sure why all hotels do not have this??). Free breakfast, simple things but free and very convenient. Then for lunch or dinner their is a Denny's restaurant for simple and quick meals, again very convenient. Wife and I stay here 3 times a year for the last 3 years. Never ever had one issue. Good price and great service. Very good internet speed. and very nice pool area. For our business travel it works perfect.

I just checked out this morning after a two night stay for business. So, while it is fresh in my mind: I loved the idea that the excellent breakfast buffet opened at 5AM until 10AM. With an early flight I still had time to eat. Also, the room had a hard surface wood like floor which I like because it is kept much cleaner than carpeting. The flat screen TV had about 100 channels and many were in English including all the sports stations. The air conditioner had controls so the fan can stay on so you are not hearing other sounds all night. Right next door is a Denny's Restaurant. Not that i go to Mexico to eat at Denny's but it sure was nice having a place to eat right next door. Since I did not have a car, this was perfect. Week nights the hotel has happy hour, lots of foods and beer and wine..all free. The front desk was most helpful and took care of my needs. So, if you are going to Chihuahua for a business trip, this is an excellent choice in my opinion.

This stay was part of a longer road trip to Jerez. We booked it on the fly and couldn't have been more happier at our choice. Check in was perfect, and Felipe was excellent. The rooms were clean, comfy, and just what we needed. Denny's next door delivered room service which was not only great after a long day, but portions and quality were spot on. The morning breakfast buffet was perfect, and we will stay there on our return trip home.

Great value! Close to Plaza, pedestrian streets, 5 blocks to Quinta Gameros Cultural Centre, check it out! Large rooms, quiet. Eggs and frijoles included for breakfast, very basic but good enough to get the day started!

Made a quick trip to Chihuahua last week and stayed here. Ordinarily I don't expect a lot from a Courtyard by Marriott. The hotel was very nice. Large lobby with a nice bar area. Rooms were good size and clean. They had a happy hour at the bar with free food, ribs, chips, salsa and a few other things. They made one of the best margaritas I have had. Light breakfast was out in the AM. There are a number of top restaurants within an easy walk.

This hotel is integrated into an upscale mall with a movie theater, some shops and bars, and a lot of restaurants, with a supermarket within walking distance as well. Hotel parking is shared with the mall which makes it a bit of a challenge, but nothing major. All in all this hotel is amazing. Will absolutely return for our next trip.

The view from the pool is amazing, the room was clean and disinfected. The staff is kind and we definitely felt welcomed. There were 2 things I didn't like at all: - The breakfast buffet is horrible, we couldn't eat it, the pozole looked like they used some red colorant, the chilaquiles were swiming in water and the chiharron was extremely salty. - The personnel at the restaurant did not required the use of face mask to the customers while serving food from the buffet. That's not acceptable during this pandemic.

If you’re rolling through Chihuahua to the USA, may I suggest this pet friendly hotel right off the main highway. This old City Express got a nice facelift and renovation. Super clean and comfortable rooms with hardwood floors, soft sheets and good quality pillows. A full breakfast per person is included in your stay. The pet fee is $500 pesos (approx $25 usd). Special thanks to Jesus, the manager at the time of our check in, who was helpful with some dinner suggestions and border crossing routes.

We stayed 1 night, service was great! Very clean and smoke free hotel. We felt super safe and its very close to downtown, shops, restaurants, and coffee!

The room was modern and clean, and the breakfast was good. As for the downsides, we arrived after dark and the parking garage wasn't lit, so we couldn't find the elevator. Also, it would be preferred if the bathroom door was more discreet and an exhaust fan in the bathroom would be nice.

Well i went there to spend the night, and truly liked the all package, the staff were super kind (He got me a very cheap cab on the next day, i saved like 60% compared to the previous day), the room is everything you are looking in a place liked this, spacious with good internet, clean and traditional. A little pool is available and a restaurant as well, i had dinner there and i loved it.

This hotel gets you what you need. Beds are comfortable and breakfast is awesome. The room is on the small side compared to other hotels, and getting out of the hotel in the morning traffic can be problematic. The room was not properly insulated from noise and you could hear a lot of what was going on outside the room. Having said all of this, I would stay here again no issue.

The room was great and very quiet place to stay. Water pressure was great and never had an issue with it getting warm. Overall the stay was great the only issue is the complimentary breakfast. They charge extra for things like Menudo-Barbacoa-Fruit or any other platter. Only included eggs with ham, tortillas, beans, milk and fake OJ.

I was in Chihuahua for business. It was not pricey because od corporate rate. PRO: 1) Breakfast buffet is excellent. 2) Magnificent and impressive views. 3) Pool area is fantastic. CONS: 1) The air conditioner was not working but this was not the big issue. The big issue was Mold in the corner of the shower. No only one spot. Many spots of mold. But maybe easy to explain, the room isself looked a bit aged. All in All this was an excellent experience but as i said prevoius mold in the shower is absolutely a no-go. The staff is friendly. If i would stay again at this hotel, yes indeed. But next time i´m going to ask for a better room or an upgrade.

It’s a great place to stay, it’s on the “fancy” side of the city, real close to local attractions and like 10min from downtown. The rooms are big enough, and clean. The staff is really helpful, the ones at reception and the rest of the crew, I think the staff is their most value asset. The restaurant has a really nice breakfast buffet. The gym is good enough, it has all you need for a quick workout session. The pool is one of the best I’ve ever seen. It has a magnificent view. Definitely I’ll come back. Congrats!!!

This is a nice and antique hotel. They have a very spacious room with a huge tub and great size shower. I loved our view since they have huge windows. The staff is amazing and so kind. They have great food especially the breakfast.

My grandma and I stayed here and it was a fantastic experience. It was an incredible value for a hotel that was near the family we were visiting in town, right next to an Oxxo for things like water or snacks, and right next to a supermarket for other needs. The reception desk was very responsive. A complimentary bagged lunch was provided daily that consisted of a sandwich with lunch meat and cheese, cookies (Mexican version of oreos, etc), and a juice. Our decision to have or not have cleaning services was respected. The room and bedding were clean when we arrived. The beds were comfortable for me, but may be firm for some people. The room was a good size, had a tv that worked well, and had a shower with really good hot water and water pressure (much better than some more expensive hotels I have stayed at). I spoke to the staff in Spanish so I can't comment for ease for English only speaking travelers, but staff was very accomodating so I would imagine would go the extra mile to make communication work. The wifi was fast, no problems. The one complaint I would have is the rooms were certainly not sound proofed, so sometimes one could hear conversations/music in the immediate area, and highway sounds. I was still able to sleep fine, but some people might need earplugs or white noise. For folks used to US hotels, there is no mini fridge, iron, or hair dryer in the room. There was soap (hand and for shower) and some provided shampoo.

Hotels.com advertised that this hotel had airport shuttle service (one of the main reasons I booked it). They were surprised to know that this was their policy...nonetheless the manager got up at the crack of dawn to drive us to the airport w/o charge. Very very nice man heading up a staff that tries about as hard as he does! The hotel is fairly large with 1st and 2nd floor rooms, lovely courtyards. Breakfast is included. The hotel was clean, beautifully maintained, nicely decorated, quiet. Security was in place...we slept easily.

Overall my experience was positive- the Hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and polite,and the breakfast buffet is quite good. However the noise level is high due to heavy traffic on Ave. Technologico. I recommend windows with better insulation as well as the doors. Also a sound wall at the front of the Hotel would help.

It is really behind the plaza on the back of the church. Very convenient location to see the pretty plaza, huge church, lots of western wear stores. This is a small charming town with not the feel of heavy tourism. People were extraordinarily nice. Our taxi driver got under $8 kick back for having brought us but he made a good choice. The room was very new. Nice clean big bathroom. One of those hotels were your room keys operates the lights and elevator floors. Very nice for security. Had a very early departure and left before complimentary breakfast was served but it smelled great. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The town has such a nice character that I would have enjoyed staying in something more historical or colonial but this was a very good, clean, comfortable option. Some fancy and casual restaurants nearby. The hotel is set back off the road so traffic noise did not seem to be an issue. This hotel seemed much more calm than the Comfort Inn or Quality Inn around the corner.

Excellent location right behind the cathedral. The facility is well-maintained. Had a very quiet room on the 3rd floor. Room is very clean and simply furnished. There is a safe in the closet which is always helpful. The complimentary breakfast served in the top-floor room next to a huge terrace with a great view of the city is good. Had a very pleasant stay!

Perfect location to begin trip to Copper Canyon. Adjacent to Cathedral and walking distance to other attractions. As we traveled Chepe RT; short taxi ride to Chepe station; hotel was also good for the last day of our trip. Site we didn't include the first day, were visited on our return. Restaurants in area are OK. Breakfast included in rate was decent. Rooms comfortable and very clean. Staff friendly and helpful but for one 2nd shift employee. He seemed not very friendly.

Nice hotel, but the wifi wouldn't work. The breakfast wasn't great and the church bells rang loudly and too early (5:58am on a Saturday morning). But the hotel had a nice, modern look and the room was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed in the romantic "Dona Luz" room....even better than the photos...and the view over Quinta Gameros, particularly lit up at night, is just magic. The bed was very comfortable with a quiet efficient air conditioner and in a quiet location, yet handy to restaurants and the downtown centre of town.....a perfect location. Wifi was excellent after little/none in the Copper Canyon trek to Chihuahua. The included breakfast was tasty but the highlight for us was the local apple juice....so much flavour (we drove past apple trees growing to the horizon in both directions and here was the finished product...yum, best we've ever had!) We appreciated access to the shared kitchen facilities, with microwave, frig etc. The shower was hot with a steady flow and lovely soft towels...the best we experienced in our 3 week Mexican adventure....but there was not much room to put bathroom essentials, except on the floor. This could easily be improved with some shelving beside the hand basin...just a minor inconvenience considering the beautiful surroundings in this lovely hotel, which is excellent value for money, particularly, considering the quality of the fittings and location. The staff are friendly, genuinely welcoming and helpful...Mauricio does a fantastic job of making all guests feel at home....we would highly recommend staying here @ Doroteo and visiting Chihuahua when doing the Chepe train trip/Barrancas del Cobre experience in Mexico.

A very cosy hotel. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, and designed uniquely and with much thought, love and consideration. An extra thumbs up for the very comfy bed. The hotel is perfectly located, just some minutes from the beautiful cathedral and the pedestrian area. This is not a perfect but soulless chain, but warm-hearted, unique accommodation. So be prepared that maybe the doors are a little bit old, the carpet is not immaculate or something is not as polished as it would be in a standardized hotel. Yet you'll meet wonderful people and have a great authentic experience that nonetheless doesn't lack comfort. The breakfast is prepared fresh and prompt, it's not a big buffet though but you are given a choice of local breakfast dishes. I would definitely return anytime, I loved it and was just sad that my stay wasn't very long.

First, for US folks: wonderfully safe location. Chihuahua is a great spot. Second, Hotel Doroteo is charming, and so very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, and have individually controlled temps. The decor is artistic, verging on edgy, and very tasteful. The light in our room was indirect, the only window to the outside being glass bricks. This gave a nice light in the room, with no brilliant glare when the sun would have shined directly into the room. Very nice. The walls were painted in a matte grey, which gave a very nice subdued light to the room during the day. At night, we were spared the view of the neighbourhood, grace the glass bricks. The neighbourhood is extremely safe, we walked back and forth to restaurants between 7 and 11 pm with no issues and no fear. The neighbourhood is very very quiet, but very close to Quinta Gameros. A five-minute walk around the block, and a MUST SEE. A special appreciation to the staff at Doroteo - they were very gracious and helpful in the small things that we needed as strangers in a strange (to us) land.

This is a charming little hotel with lovely staff about four blocks from the city center. They made us a delicious breakfast and had excellent coffee. You eat your breakfast family style at one large table with the other guests, which was fun. Also, one of the staff was obviously immersed in English as her English is perfect, but bring your Spanish anyway! You'll need it at breakfast 😊

It was near center plaza. The location was great! It is near the museum, restaurants, ATM and many stores. The staff was nice and helpful. They helped me get a taxi 3:40 am to the airport. Room service was there daily. The facility itself looks nice with cable. There's a restaurant in the hotel, I didn't eat there but the food smells good. The police station is right across the street.

We were surprised when we arrived at the hotel. We stopped at the bus stop outside the hotel on the motorbike only to realise that we could drive into the hotel to unload. Super! We also wondered where we were in relation to the city until we went for a walk afterwards and found that we were right next to the main square. Everything was good here at the hotel though parking will be difficult for cars - there are rather a lot of columns in the basement. Breakfast was substantial for those that like big Mexican breakfasts. Note that there is a good coffee shop round the corner called Kahli.

WiFi worked well, which was great after spending a week in the Copper Canyon largely WiFi-less / with poor WiFi and data connectivity.

The staff were amazing, very helpful and the room was lovely and comfortable. It was close to the centre of Chihuahua. I fell in love with Chihuahua and its people.

Room with a kitchenette was great. Location in the heart of town was perfect. And Luis, who works there was super helpful.

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They gave us recommendations and were always very attentive.
