The hotel is located in a quiet spot - away from traffic - on the river bank. Quite of a surprise to wake up and see lovely river just few meters away. Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast: wide choice. Can fully recommend. The hotel offers also fine dining - have not tried it but definitely on our agenda for 2020.

We enjoyed our stay in a recently renovated room, with a gorgeous view. Breakfast was really nice and there was plenty of choice. We also enjoyed the wellness, it was very clean, spacious and relaxing.

Check-in on arrival was very friendly and well-prepared. Breakfast buffet was very nice and the restaurant served great food for diner. Location of the hotel is great - overlooking the river on the one side and vineyards on the other.

Nice location just next to the river. The hotel is well decorated and the restaurant was fantastic. The room was a bit old and the sofa bed was not that comfortable but clean and spacious.

Friendly & professional staff, gorgeous location, spacious & modern room, great wine selection & fabulous food.

The owners and staff were awesome! The breakfast was amazing with made to order eggs and huge selections. The restaurant was impeccable with a wide variety of menu items (food and drinks) plus great service! I would stay here again for our next visit to Germany.

What a perfect place! We had a 4 days stay and experienced the best food, great friendly staff! Nature is truly breathtaking. The rooms are clean which was for us very important. Great atmossphere and had many laughs with the owner advise YESSS

Very friendly, professional and helpful staff. We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was in very good condition, fully equipped. The complementary buss tickets during our stay provided more flexibility even though we had rented bikes (seperatly provided).

Great host, nice and big apartment, well furnished, close to the river and other small towns.

This is a lovely, beautiful, sparkling hotel. The restaurant is great. Dinner was a bit of a surprise as there's a distinct Asian touch to many dishes. The breakfast buffet is one of the most extensive I've seen. The rooms are huge, bathroom large, everything is clean and stylish. I especially liked the common lounge area with chairs and honor wine bar. It's in a small town away from the Mosel, but looks out to the vineyards on the hillside. Staff is great. I can highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is beautiful in a very nice location for relaxing trip in the Mosel. Since we had the private sauna suite, I’m a bit biased when saying that it was amazing. As someone who grew up with Finnish sauna, I must say the one we had in our room was superb. In addition, the bubble bath was amazing. The restaurant food was very good as well.

The apartment was Fewo 1 which was in very good shape. It was even better than the pictures. It was 70 m2 and you can easily live 4 pax. The apartment has a balcony with view of the Mosel valley. You cant see the river but that didn't matter, the view was good anyway. The owner is a wine producer and we did a very nice and funny wine tasting one evening. The wines are of good quality and we bought some bottles. We bought breakfast one morning which also was very good. In the village Kröv there are some restaurants, grocery stores, a communal outdoor pool and of course a lot of nice wines. We think Gerd Mullers is a very good place for a longer vacation. We will surely return.

We stayed in a holiday apartment (Ferienwohnung) with 2 bedrooms. Everything was clean and comfortable, fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and a very nice bed (we only used 1 bedroom). The rooms are very spacious. Free parking by the side of the house. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Tasty breakfast, spotlessly clean huge apartment with everything you need, very pleasant owners (also speak English), location is convenient but is a small village so everything is nearby anyway - river, restaraunts, supermarket.

Location was so apt for a lovely weekend getaway. Host was amazing to guide us with the nearby spots. Hot-tub and Sauna are amazing to use. Perfect place to just relax in a home away from a home!

It is our second visit to Weingut Gerd Müllers which means we are very satisfied with this place. The owner produce there own wine which is of excellent quality and we brought some home. You can also easy buy bottles for your dinner in an fridge in the middle of the building. We went to a wine- and cheese pairing test in the wine fields which was arranged by the owner, this was both interesting and funny. In the neighorhood is an communal outdoor pool-Kröver Reich. In Kröv, which is a small town, there is a lot restaurants and a lot of other wineproducers. The apartment this time was Fewo 2 on the topfloor. It has a well eguipped kitchen, a sauna and a spa bath tub. Parking is avaible in close proximity. We love this place and its owner and will definity return a third time in the future.

A "must-stay" if you're in the area. Views are absolutely breathtaking, rooms gorgeous, staff super friendly, charming gardens and don't forget to visit the amazing museum and scary dungeon.

The staff and location are definitely the best. Staff was very kind and communication went well even if we don’t speak German. The location is amazing - indeed a castle, you feel back in time. The garden is beautiful and the area super peaceful. The hotel is 10 minutes walking from the main hiking trails in the region, and it is easy to access by car. Plus: very pet friendly!

A really great place to stay the night! the apartment was very large, with 2 floors, a nice terrace and a sauna in the bathroom. Fantastic place to stay the night in this beautiful area (close to the Maare-Mosel bicycle way)

Very friendly hostess, she was very helpful with finding transportation, bike rental, etc.. The breakfast was amazing, and with a great view from the balcony. The room also had a balcony.

Everything about Altes Winzerhaus was exemplary. It was spotlessly clean and the owners have a good eye for a high level of attention to detail that most other places lack. The room had everything we needed, the bed was really comfortable and our room had views of the river and castle. There is also a fridge in every room. The included breakfast had a wide selection of food that most people would be more than happy with. There is a bike store conveniently located at the front of the building where we could safely leave our bikes overnight. Claudia is a really friendly host and speaks good English. I wouldn't hesitate to return here if we visit the area again.

Everything was amazing! I liked that it was so clean and tight! Also, the view from our balcony was lovely. The hotel is in a good location, right next to the supermarket and close to Cochem centre and has a paid parking right next to the hotel. The staff was very kind with us and helped us with everything we needed and also the breakfast was delicious!

This is simply an excellent hotel. It’s a short walk from the centre of town. The room was impeccably clean with very modern features. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was exceptional with plenty of choice- probably the best we’ve seen in a hotel in Germany. I would without question stay here again if I were to return. To Cochem.

The English speaking lady at the hotel was very helpful and extremely nice. Treated me like I was only guest at the hotel. I was 10 min late to the breakfast next morning, the same lady still arranged a breakfast plate and cup of tea for me. Thank you! We were lucky to get free parking spot next to the hotel. Highly recommend the hotel.

Great if only stay even for one night during a business trip. I had dinner at the hotel's restaurant. Definitely the most expensive dish of pasta I ever had. There was no other choise at 9pm in Bad Bertrich is almost night... Very quiet town with no other interest than the thermal baths and relex for retired people. Very nice indeed. Staff was very nice both at the restaurant and reception (Sartika), striving to welcome and please guests, which is not something you give for granted. A swimming pool and a quite decent fitness room are available as well. Very nice landscape in the surrounding area with plenty of paths to walk dinner off before it gets dark.

Fantastic getaway destination for a weekend stay (and more). Hotel location is great with hikes nearby and the hotel courtyard, pool and other facilities are amazing! We had two small kids and were worried that their play and shouts might not be met with the warmest feedback but the hotel staff was super welcoming. Special thanks to Frau Renate who was so warm to us all!

The Hotel is very cute and clean, The village is very cute as well. Getting to Bad Bertrich is a little difficult if you don't pay close attention to road signs and directions. The street that the Hotel is on is very tiny. Being from America, I am used to wider streets. With that said, it was a fantastic experience and would totally visit again if I return to this part of Germany.

Eine Woche habe ich mir zum Entspannen vorgenommen, und das hat wunderbar geklappt, da das Haus eine seht gepflegte Anlage für Wellness und viele Anwendungen anbietet. Man kann jederzeit selber bestimmen welche Anwendung(en) man gerne haben möchte. Aquagymnastik war sogar im Preis inbegriffen! Man kann bei schlechtem Wetter alles, vor allem das Restaurant, das keine Wünsche offen lässt, geniessen, ohne einen Schritt vor die Tür zu machen.

Meine beste Freundin und ich wollten einfach mal 2 Tage entspannen. Das Hotel ist für ein 5*-Haus o.k., das Interieur ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen... Mit einem großen Koffer und einer Person ist der Fahrstuhl etwas zu klein. Das passt auch zu Bad Bertrich: der Ort besteht nur aus Hotels, Restaurants und Kosmetiksalons auf einer Fläche von 8qkm . Das hat den charmanten Vorteil, dass es dort sehr ruhig ist. Das trifft auch auf das Hotel zu. Die Zimmer sind gut isoliert. Im Gegensatz zum Wellnessbereich. Der Ist zwar schön und überraschend vielfältig für ein Hotel, aber es gibt keinen richtigen Ruheraum. Der kleine Raum mit 6 Liegen hat keine Tür und dient als Durchgangszimmer, um in den Außenbereich zu gelangen. Ruhe bekommt man hier nicht. Das Frühstück war super, die Servicedame taff und sehr nett. Alles in allem: ein schöner Aufenthalt, für das Geld (Sparpreis) o.k., sonst hätte ich mich geärgert.

one of the best places we've stayed in (and have traveled extensively). monica and her staff were exceptional and so helpful and friendly! This hotel about 10/15 walk from old town over the bridge - can meander through the side streets to the bridge (discovered an old church) or along the river also. on the outskirts of town so tranquil and wonderful. we had a side room which was just incredible blessing for our desire to relax and chill... could see stars at night through opened balcony door and lit castle through other window. available umbrella allowed for morning reading on the balcony. absolutely spotlessly clean - everywhere! now, the breakfast buffets was one of the absolute BEST we've been to , all over the world. all the tastes and so good! the staff, again, was attentive and warm and friendly. didn't know bikes available to rent until after we left (our fault, not hotel's). but sauna was wonderful w large showers. not crazy about dogs in restaurant, but it seems to be a thing for everywhere in germany. we enjoyed our stay and if returning to Cochem in the future we would happily stay again.

This is a superb family run hotel in a quiet location with beautiful views of the river and castle. It has ample parking and is within easy walking distance of the old town of Cochem. Our room was immaculate, spacious and comfortable with good facilities including a large balcony with table and chairs. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of foods, beautifully presented and served in the lovely restaurant with large windows giving a direct view across the river to the castle. There are also great terraces for use in good weather. The basement has a small gym and sauna and the terrific facility of an honesty drinks/wine fridge. We really enjoyed our short stay at the Hotel Am Rosenhugel and would love to return in summertime.

This is a great hotel in an ideal location for exploring Cochem and the surrounding area. Huge bonus having parking. Our room was very clean, large, quiet and comfortable. It was perfect. A bright and spotless hotel with fantastic views and at the quiet end of town. Our room had a balcony overlooking the Mosel and Reichsburg castle. Comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast buffet, parking and lift access. The hotel is situated on the opposite side of the river from the busy commercial area but 10 minutes walk across the bridge. Excellent restaurants nearby.

We stayed here recently and found it to be clean and comfortable. It was wonderful to sit on our balcony sipping a beer or glass of wine looking out at the castle in the evening after a busy day if touring. We visited Berg Cochem, Berg Eltz, Riel, Bengel, took a 1.5 hour boat tour in the Mosel and a bike ride along the river. So much to do but very relaxing in this tranquil place. We lived the honor bar, thr breakfast, and the friendly people who run the hotel.

Beilstein is beautiful, tiny, quaint and very quiet. It is located beside the Moselle River and offers many scenic options. The restaurant associated with the hotel was excellent. It was very hot and the hotelier kindly offered us a couple of ice cold beers before the outside bar area closed. This was very thoughtful and much appreciated. Breakfast is good and all fresh..Beds are comfy and the bathroom is spotless and modern. This is the third time we have used Stumbergers and will continue to use this place as our primary stopping point to and from the ferry port at Rotterdam as its just the right distance/time in one day. 10 out of 10.

Beautiful hotel, very helpful staff and the location is right on the Mosel. We were fortunate to get a lovely room on the river with an amazing view. Compact room but the setup didn’t make the space seem cramped, it was very efficiently laid out and the two windows allowed plenty of light and fresh air. The bridge to walk to the east side of Cochem is close by. The gelato shop is next door, a wine shop with a large selection and helpful staff is “downstairs”, shopping and restaurants within steps. The breakfast was excellent, the decor cheery, the space cozy and the dining area had plenty of tables. We loved sitting on the second floor terrace overlooking the river, the stunning view of the castle and watching all the activity down below as we sipped our Mosel wine. You must rent bikes (shop in Buttig — 712 bus) so you can cruise along either side of dedicated bike paths within direct access of the Germania. One of our best hotel experiences!

Great location on the edge of the old town, along the river front. Short walk across the road to the dock for river cruises. Many good restaurants and cafes nearby. Very nice, large bedroom and bathroom. We enjoyed having a comfortable sofa in the room, as well as a desk and chair. Plenty of opening windows for ventilation, though it is located near a busy thoroughfare. Excellent wifi. Very good breakfast buffet with lots of variety. The staff were especially friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early and store our bags for an hour before leaving, both very useful for helping us work around the train schedule.

Our room was clean and had fantastic wonderful view of the city, river and castle. I kept going back and forth on which hotel to choose based on the side of the bridge and we were 100% happy with our choice of location and lodging. Easy walk from the train station along the river. We used the smooth walking trail to roll our bags. Front desk always happy to help guide us on what to do and how to get there.

A bottle of wine along with two chocolates and a welcome drink at the bar were offered on arrival, and a bag with water and snacks was provided when leaving. Delicious drinks at the bar as well. I also utilized the swimming pool which was indoors and very refreshing. The spa area was large with seating and other amenities. Overall wonderful hotel and very helpful staff. Not walkable to Cochem central city but an easy drive or bike ride. Highly recommended.

The hotel is a great destination for couples or adults. The swimming pool and spa areas are not suitable for children but wonderful for adults. Everything is very clean and well looked after. We stayed in one of the south-facing rooms (last minute booking) in the older part of the hotel, the rooms was comfortably furnished and a good size. There were many nice touches such as complementary chilled mineral water and a bottle of wine, an umbrella, a rucksack with water bottles that could be borrowed while staying at the hotel. The staff members were all well trained, very polite and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, there were so many choices of delicious food, even options of freshly cooked omelette. They also offered their own sparkling wine as an extra treat, which was delicious. Contrary to the hotel’s website, there is no à la carte menu in the evening but guests have to choose from a 3 course menu by 4 pm on the day, which is fine if one is already staying there but an inconvenience if one is travelling that day but would like to eat at the hotel. The evening meal was nice but we thought quite expensive for what it was. We regularly dine out in the UK in upmarket restaurants but the quantity and sophistication of the dishes, although nice, did not warrant the price of €55 per person. Having said this, we loved our stay at Hotel Kessler-Meyer and we are hoping to stop there again on our way through Germany to Austria.

Slightly outside Cochem centre but within walking distance. Good parking. Dog friendly. Immaculately clean. Thank you for a really enjoyable stay.

Meals, breakfast was plentiful with fruit, cold cuts, cereals, fruit juices and coffee, eggs were offered on alternate days, fried, scrambled or boiled. The evening meals were simple fare wholesome and enjoyable although ice cream as a sweet each evening was a bit boring. There are 2 terraces at the front of the hotel where you can have a meal or just sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the view of the river, below the main terrace at street level is a wine store where you can sample and buy wines.There is much to see in Cochem, there are many shops cafes and restaurants. The narrow streets and the old architecture are also of interest. On the outskirts of town is a chair lift to the top of the mountain from where there is a panoramic view of the town and the river, this feature ceases operation in November each year. There is also a motorised train to take tourists for 25 minute trip around the town. There are other points of interest including an historic mustard mill which it is said is the last of its type in Europe. River cruises are also available but time did not make it possible for us to take advantage this. All considered we had a most enjoyable 3 days in Cochem, we would certainly recommend it for short stays.

We recently stayed at this hotel and it was a delight. Our room was at the top of the hotel looking out over the river. It was a bit of a climb but completely worth it! The steps are a bit angled since the building is so old, but they felt sturdy. Our room was very cute and very comfortable with 2 windows so we had ventilation since there is no air conditioning, but it was not needed. Breakfast was delicious and included not only the usual meats, cheeses, breads, yogurt and fruit that are common in Germany, but also fresh eggs, either baked (ie like fried) or scrambled, to order. The staff was wonderful and there is a large terrace with restaurant looking out over the river. We did not eat there but it seemed very popular. Being across the river from Cochem it was quiet and we had a great view of the town, river and the castle. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cochem.

We stayed three nights in Cochem as part of our Germany trip, and we stayed at the Hotel Hieronimi. Our room was a very pleasant surprise: probably twice the size that we expected from a small Gästhaus like this one, with breezy windows overlooking the Mosel river and a great Western view of every sunset. It was definitely a bit warm in the room at times, but the enormous windows--which doubled as vents during the day and swung open to let in the cool air at night--made the 30-degree-celsius days bearable. Restaurants and shopping were an easy 10-minute walk down along the Mosel river and across the bridge to the opposite bank. A small free parking lot is available, but it had a tendency to be crowded (not surprising, given the quality of the hotel!) The staff was very friendly and accommodating for what we needed, and offered a tasty breakfast with tables assigned by room number, so you always knew where you'd be. Fresh-cooked eggs were offered by staff every morning to supplement the traditional German fare of brötchen, cold cuts, and spreads. When and if we return to Cochem, this will be our first and only choice on where to stay again. Many thanks to the family Furhmann for our very enjoyable time in Cochem!

Stayed here for my 50th Birthday weekend in September 2014. The room was large, clean, beautifully decorated and overlooking the river and the castle, I spent most of my time gazing out of the window! We had dinner at this hotel, the food was absolutely gorgeous and washed down with delicious wine, served by a smiling and helpful waitress. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful, tasty and served in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The hotel itself is situated right on the river with parking outside, a short walk to everything you want to see in Cochem - and you absolutely have to see Cochem, it's enchanting - just like a fairytale. I can't wait to go back and I'll definitely be staying at this hotel - brilliant!

We stayed in room 11 for one night. We selected this hotel because it had a great view - across the Cochem Castle. We were able to take great pictures of the Castle during day and night. Checkin was easy and fast. Staff are super friendly. Room 11 needs two flight of stairs up, so might be difficult for elderly. Room itself has a comfy bed. The windows open up fully - very helpful on a very warm day. A small parking lot was available next to the hotel. If it’s booked, there is paid parking spots nearby. Breakfast was included in our rate and it had great variety such as eggs, ham, fresh bread, muffins, cheese, etc. each table was assigned to a room - which was great! Walk to the old town was about 10-15 min. If you need more snacks and drinks, there is also an Aldi and Rewe about 5 min car ride/ 25 min walk. Would definitely recommend this hotel for the location and friendly staff!

The apartment is well decorated with all necessary facilities. It is located in a peaceful and convenient place about 10 mins to the Cochem center by walking. The location of the hotel has pros and cons. It is on the less attractive side of the Mosel, this means that you have the better view of Cochem, looking towards the 'nice' side. However, although it is only about 1 km from the centre, it is almost a 100 meter climb. So getting to the Altstadt of Cochem is not such a problem, however getting back to the hotel is a bit of a challenge. The restaurant offers a varied menu of nice food, although a tad on the pricey side for German standards. Great breakfast. The room was well equipped and clean.

Great stay during early December at the Hotel Cochemer Jung! Excellent location, staff, clean rooms, good breakfast! We arrived around 1, earlier than their stated 3:00 check in time. This hotel doesn't have a staffed check in and uses a self service check in system. There was a very nice employee in the lobby area and she went and talked to the housekeeping staff to see if the rooms might be ready. They were able to at least have one room ready, so we were able to put our luggage away. Breakfast (8-10, open only for hotel guests) in their restaurant was good with the usual eggs, breakfast meats, assorted breads, spreads, fruits, cold cuts, etc. Didn't get her name, but one of the restaurant staff (dark hair color) was really nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and modern. Our friends paid a little more and got a slightly larger room with a great view of the river/bridge. Our room was smaller and a view of the building behind but it was fine. Heated floors (very nice in winter!) and heated towel racks too. Complimentary wifi included. No in room safes or mini fridge. Since we were only staying two nights, we didn't need room service. There is an extra charge for room service if you want it. Location is right in the main Cochem town area and the village had their own Christmas Market with a medieval theme. If you arrive by train, make sure you get the local taxi company's number so you don't have to haul your luggage over the cobblestone pavers!

Our room was fantastic! We had a terrace overlooing the river, very nice! The town has lots of dining and shopping and sightseeing, and is very walkable. The castle was just OK, but we've been in quite a few castles. This is a good 1880's restoration, and was a nice experience. The local wine is delicious!!!!!

We stayed overnight to catch a flight early the next morning. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again if we have an early flight in the future.

We had a really good stay here. The free shuttle transfer was perfect and there waiting for us upon arrival and at 5am in the morning. Peaceful location and really lovely staff. Very clean comfy rooms.

On the other side of the valley the vineyards stretch high up the steep slopes. It’s just a fantastic place. The hotel was situated in the very centre of the town right on the banks of the river. Our room had a balcony with a view across the river and down the valley, it was stunning. The room was a little dated but the staff were amazingly friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. We took a trip on the river on one of the many boats offering different variations of trips. We went on a two-hour round trip up the river. The boat serves food and drinks to enjoy as you take in the view. Good: Wonderful View Friendly Staff Great Location Great Breakfast Not so good: No Parking at the hotel, you can drop your bags off and then park in a multi story around 500m away (only €9 for 24 hours) No coffee making facilities in the room. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The owner is a really good host and also a very friendly person. The location is perfect for a visit to Cochem as you are in crawling distance of the restaurants and wine shops. He also has a couple of parking spaces available in an underground parking garage at a really short walk from the hotel at a very reasonable price. The breakfast is really good as well and when the weather is nice, you can enjoy it a small garden/terrace in front of the hotel. Will definitely try to book here again when I visit the area!

The location was excellent- just a few steps from the center of town and close to the boat dock of the Mosel River which is delightful. Cochem is a great location for visiting Burg Eltz which is our favorite castle of all Germany. We had an amazing view of the beautiful castle from our room. The breakfast was delightful with a variety of cheeses, fresh breads, fruit, cereals, eggs and expresso machines. The owner is also the chef and he is very personable and involved.

Boutique-Hotel Lohspeicher is nothing short of delightful. The location is great (3m walk from public parking by the water), and the rooms/beds are comfortable. Check-in/-out was pretty seamless, and the breakfast was very extensive (yet a bit on the pricier end). We received some great tips to discover fun bars and restaurants as well!

Cozy hotel in an amazing location right at the city center! Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Would recommend for families and couples!

Great location with a super view of Zell. This must be at least the third time we’ve stayed here. The apartment is spacious and has everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Bikes are available to borrow to cycle along the scenic river. Restaurants and places to try the local wine are nearby. The owner can also pick you up from the nearby Hahn airport for a reasonable fee. Recommended! We’ll be back again.

Got a fantastic experience at Hotel Sevenig. The place is super nice, exceptionally clean, cozy and welcoming vibe by Markus. It's run by a lovely family who truly make you feel at home. Parking was a breeze with a lot right in front of the hotel. The location is perfect , just a scenic 1hr20 walk up the hill to Burg Eltz (u will have great wood hiking time in spring) and only 15 min drive to Cochem. Dont miss out on their delicious homemade dinners and excellent local wine by the hotel !!! both were a real highlight of the stay. Highly recommended!

The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and kind. We were traveling by bicycle and the luggage transfer service delivered our bags to the wrong town. They volunteered to drive us to collect our bags, saving us a 1+ hour train trip! Dinner at the restaurant was also amazing. Highly recommend; one of the best meals we had in Germany.

We stopped here between castle visits and Trier. Nice view of the river across the roadway from the dining room in the front of the building. The view from our room was somewhat obscured by the roof but still nice. Good space in the room w/large bath by European standards and included a work desk. Staff was friendly.

In this hotel you will feel welcome. The restaurant is not open, but they do serve simple meals. The dinner was excellent, with a wonderful view in front of the river and good wine.

We had the garden studio, so no direct view of the castle, but that's the only drawback and we were aware of this before we arrived. Even though the property is well away from the main road the river is very near and there are plenty of public benches with excellent views of the castle. Outside the room there's a small court yard with table chairs and umbrella as well as a bench. The room was exactly as described with a coffee corner and a limited amount of appliances (Senseo coffee maker, kettle, toaster, small fridge with freezer) and table wear, perfect for our needs. There's a separate bathroom and toilet, everything perfectly clean, plenty of towels. The bed was of good quality, plenty of pillows. We had bad weather and it wasn't so warm, but I think during hot summer weather the room could get quite hot, there was a fan available. Car park was right next to the room behind a hedge, super handy. Access to the studio room is via stairs, good to be aware of. Penny supermarket is 2 minutes walk and has fresh bakery department, open Mo-Sa, closed on Sunday. Cochem city center is just 10 minutes walk along the river via a nice boardwalk

My friend and I stayed in the "appartement" which had a separate living area with large sofa and a fully equiped kitchen with all necessary appliances. The perfect "home base" to end a day of motor riding and recharge the batteries. The restaurant is very good with a lot of "Snitzel" choices. Prices are fair, choices plenty. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is extensive. There is no covered parking but the owner let us park our motorcycles in his garage, which we really appreciated.

Da wir mit mehreren Personen gereist sind, um über Weihnachten die in der nahen ReHa befindliche Mutter zu besuchen, haben wir mehrere Zimmer in den beiden zuzammen gehörigen Häusern "Hohenzollern" und "Ambiente" gebucht. Die Einzelzimmer im fast historischen Haus Hohenzollern waren zwar klein, aber sehr gemütlich und modern eingerichtet, so dass diese Mitreisenden sich wohl fühlten. Absolutes Highlight war unser Doppelzimmer "Deluxe" im neuen Haus "Ambiente" direkt hinter dem Hotel. Supermodern eingerichtet fehlte es über elektrische Fensterrollos, Safe oder automatisches Bettlicht an nichts. Über 40 qm um sich wohlzufühlen. Allein das Bad so groß wie in manch anderen Hotel ein Einzelzimmer. Also alles perfekt. Das Personal und das Inhaberehepaar sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffett reichhaltig, so dass für jeden etwas dabei ist. Egal ob man Rührei, Lachs und verschiedene Wurst- und Käsesorten mag oder eher auf frisches Obst, Säfte, Joghurt und Müsli steht. Da wir Halbpension gebucht hatten, hier noch ein kurzes Wort zu dieser: Abends gab es 3-Gang-Menue, bestehend aus Vorspeise, Hauptgang und Dessert. Auch hier eine ausreichende Menge sehr schmackhafter Speisen, die uns überraschten wie z.B. Tomatencremsuppe, Riesenjägerschnitzel mit frischen Pilzen, Pommes und Salat, Aprikoseneis mit Aprikosenmousse oder Pastete an Salatbouquet, Hähnchenfilet mit Kartoffeltalern und Salat, Eistorte mit Sahne. Wir empfehlen gern dieses Haus.

Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Inhaber, so auch das Personal. Schöne und ruhige Zentrallage mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Frühstücksbüffet qualitätsvoll und reichhaltig. Zimmer sauber und modern eingerichtet, sehr geräumig da auch mit Terrasse und Balkon, Parkplätze ausreichend und direkt am Haus. Angenehme Mischung von zeitgemäßem Komfort in historischer Villa mit Charme. Auch Sonderwünsche konnten allesamt freundlich erfüllt werden. Fazit: Wir haben uns mit unseren Vierbeinern bestens versorgt gefühlt. Daher sehr zu empfehlen, wir kommen wieder!

It is in the heart of beautiful Cochem and a comfortable stay. The breakfast was exceptional and the room comfortable and clean. We highly recommend to future guests

The staff were excellent and did everything they could to accommodate us. I feel they went above and beyond for us the entire stay. They were able to speak English well enough for our needs. The hotel is on the promenade along the river and a short walk from everything you would want to see and do. We dropped off our bags and parked at a park house on Endertstrasse which was 9 euros. Breakfast was really nice, the seating area is comfortable and cozy, and the hotel has an elevator to access upper floors. We also got some recommendations for dinner, which was lovely.

Great breakfast, staff very helpful and friendly, Our double room with balcony was very nice with a great view. The only negative comment I could make is that the bathroom was way too small and especially the clearance between the toilet and the wall - it was so tight it was difficult to use the toilet.

They were always happy and joyful and always had time for a little personal chat. It's lovely to see that it's a real family owned business. Ow and the food was amazing! Im a picky eater, however everything was really tasteful.

Both breakfast and dinner are clearly above average. The staff are great. Great location and environment.

We felt very welcomed by the owner, everything was great in the hotel. The breakfast was simple but very delicious. The dinner in the restaurant was also nice. It is a distance from Cochem center, but thanks to the distance we had quiet and peace at night. We would definitely love to come back!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Some of our thoughts; + Theres a very good restaurant on-site + The property is off the beaten path in Cochem (outskirts) + Excellent staff (friendly, helpful, small hotel owners who really care about your stay) -+ Pretty simple room amenities (no safe, no fridge), but overall nice and clean

Had a nice relaxing evening with a good meal in the restaraunt after a long, wet journey. Room very clean and comfortable for our one night stay. Breakfast was excellent ansd included the unexpected treasure of homemade jam!!

The location was gorgeous, the rooms were clean and very pleasant. The inn keeper Frank was very welcoming and upgraded our room. Our only wish was that we could have stayed longer! I was traveling with my family of five.

The studio on the first floor was clean and the kitchen was supplied with the basic necessities like tea, coffee powder, etc. The studio and seperate bedroom both overlooked the river. Although we didn’t use it, there is the handy option to use the laundry facilities for Euro5. Parking is on the street outside. Wifi is good. A call to the owner, who speaks English, provided the unlock code for the key safe.

Amazing location with view of the Mosel. Short walk to all restaurants and shops in Zell. Property was simple, but clean had everything we needed (kitchen utensils, coffee, tea, etc).

Nice, clean apartment close to all. Beautiful view from window and quiet at night. Bike storage. Friendly owners.

Location was excellent, great wine, great sceneries and friendly people for the most part. nearby towns easy accessible with car and public transport. Whilst keeping its old-fashioned look, the room has modern comforts such as airconditioning, window shutters and a noiseless fridge. With the shutters down, the bedroom is pitchblack and you’ll barely hear any noises. Important to note that the rooms are kept very clean, no dust could be found. The host is a very friendly man who speaks fluently Dutch, German and English and will try his best to cater to the needs of his guests. Every morning he will prepare your requested breakfast, which is extensive. Lastly it’s nice to know parking is free, and you get a free public transportation ticket for the local area (including Koblenz) making it fun to explore the area and its many, many winehouses. Would recommend.

Breakfast was superb! The host was very kind and paid a lot of attention to every guest during the breakfast. He made sure we all felt at home. The breakfast was very fresh and was catered to our liking every day.

Like: the location (very close to the cochem castle), the delicious and generous breakfast, friendly hosts, clean and spacioys room, and nice views. I checked in after 17:30 but it all worked out. Need improvement: wifi was not always stable.

The staff is so friendly and helpful. The view is amazing from the hotel,if I visit Cochem again I will just sit in the hotel and gaze at the view the whole day.

the location is really good just a bit outside Cochem. The hotel have it's own wine shop and offer free wine tasting for its guests. The terrace is really nice as you can sit outside enjoy some fresh drinks or a glass of wine in warm weather. The dinner is ok, we found the weekend menu is better than the weeks days.

The wine tasting possibilities are numerous, organized by different wine growers. The hotel is situated near Cochem, where all kinds of visits to the city can be planned : cultural, historical or plain touristic wining, dining and shopping. The half board formula at the hotel (with beautifully renovated rooms) is perfect with a great breakfast buffet and a very tasty supper accompanied by local wines (sparkling or not). And the bar or the sauna are perfect alternatives if you don't want to go out.

Stayed 3 nights; Very clean and pleasant rooms, good beds, friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Dinner excellent too. Rooms 124 and 125 have balcony and view on the river Mosel. We enjoyed our stay very much. It was a dream, we will not easily forget. If you prefer pure nature Ernst and this hotel are really the best choice.

My wife and I spent 3-weeks in Germany in June of 2017. The end of our trip placed in the Mosel River Valley. We had planned to stay in Cochem but all was book due to a festival, which ended being very lucky for us. As an alternative we stayed a few miles up River in the small town of Ernst in Hotel Pollmanns. Both the town and hotel ended being the highlight of our trip. Ernst is a quiet wine village lacking the tourist layer the occurs in Cochem. Our rooms were very comfortable and the food at the hotel was excellent, of coarse as was the wine. To my delight I found the majority of the Rieslings from the village were dry with a nice balance of acidity. Both town and hotel are surrounded by some of the steepest vineyards in the world.

We stayed in another hotel, but had dinner here our first night after sight-seeing in Beilstein. Ernst has very few restaurants, but seems to have a lot of wine-tasting establishments. It was late and we were looking for a place to eat a light dinner and we found the welcoming lights of Pollmans. We each had a salad with Salmon and a glass of the local Mosel white wine, just what these jet-lagged 60 something castle hill climbers needed that night.

We had a pleasant meal here on the terrace overlooking the main road and River Mosel. Service was good and the food was good quality, plus good selection of wine and beer. A popular restaurant with locals, I think. Good choice of everyday items and special treats. Family friendly.

Wonderful hotel. Great location, tasty breakfast, very kind stuff, so clean. SPA area is not big- but very clean, nice, peaceful and with great view. Bed sheets was excellent quality. We were welcomed with champagne directly on reception and far welled with small bag with water and snacks. The view on the castle is amazing, hotel itself is not big, but very cosy and quite. I don’t understand why it’s not rated higher, it deserves definitely minimum 9.

The view from the balcony of the room was amazing. Great staff. Great food. Great bike storage. Very comfortable and quiet room.

We opted for the half board and it was a wonderful buffet meal. Our room, although not in the main hotel, was not far away and was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good.

A good place to stay if you're exploring the Moselle region. Very good value-for-money. Breakfast was excellent, and we had a buffet with many options. Rooms were clean, and everything seemed in order.

Hosts and servers were professional and helpful. The location and breakfast were good! Wine recommendations were excellent!!

This is a decent hotel with clean rooms and basic amenities, located in a beautiful and calm town (with a peaceful vibe, mostly older tourist/residents). The location is lovely — right next to a hill and a park, perfect for a quiet walk or some fresh air. Breakfast was simple but adequate, with the usual European options. As English speakers with no knowledge of German, we truly appreciated the kindness and helpfulness of the lady at reception (who also seems to manage the property) and her partner/husband. They were very cooperative and did their best to accommodate us — especially since we were traveling with our 3-month-old baby. Their support made our stay smooth and comfortable.

Deluxe One-Bedroom Apartment is really spacious for family of four. Good breakfast, kind staff, really beautiful location.

Great hotel & local institution in the Eifel region. Free parking lot. The hotel is very clean and well managed. Our room was very spacious with a comfortable bed. Bathroom had great lighting and large shower with more than enough hot water. We had a view to the rear of the hotel where the sunset was stunning! The restaurant on site is popular in the area, weekends may need a reservation to be safe. Locally brewed Bitburger on tap! A large spread of breakfast in the morning along with a bakery next door. A small grocery store is just up the street, Edeka along with a small Getränkemarkt/ drinks market down the street behind it. All within short walking distance if needed.

location is great - super friendly staff - food (dinner) is super; breakfast is good but not great (could have a bit more choice, fresh fruit, better coffee - but this is really just a minor 'complaint')
