Everything was perfect. Very beautiful property mixing old with new, everything was clean and well kept, the grounds and gardens are lovely, staff were super helpful and friendly. The spa is well- equipped and again, very clean. The pool area is fantastic with lots of lounging options within a lovely garden area plus showers, modern changing area and a bar. The restaurant is great, beautiful location outside with a view of the mountains, again with professional and friendly staff and the food was amazing (vegan options were great, ask the waiting staff as not all is on the menu). Breakfast was really nice also with quality vegan options. Overall the facilities were well-designed and a pleasure to use. Can’t recommend this hotel enough, my friend and I loved it.

Hotel in an excellent setting & lovely grounds . Quite easily found from main road even without SAT NAV only using a real map ! Staff very helpful & welcoming. Restuarant only used once but good food & good service. Buffet breakfast really, really good! Coffee was found a bit pricey compared to smaller bars/ cafes but it is what is expected at a hotel of this standard . Although there are weddings at the hotel it did not detract from our stay & posed no issues to us at all. Rooms very comfortable. Grounds & facilities (pool) very nice, well maintained & very photogenic especially at night when grounds & castle are floodlit.

Amazing grounds and spa. Breakfast outside is the best way to start the day, with beautiful fragant flowers and overlooking the pool and grounds. The food in general is delicious. The whole place is really well maintained. The reception, cleaning, dining and spa staff are all welcoming and professional. It is a nice relaxing place in a beautiful setting and very close to Como.

Beautiful! Great pool area clean and karge enough with great lounge areas and awesome waiters at the bar. Food is amazing if a tad expensive, wine even better but I think all in all it was pretty much perfect price considering. Staff were lovely super attentive and fun. Immaculate place easy to find and perfectly located a short drive to Como or other areas. Lots of parking.

We found the Expedia directions a bit confusing. On the road out of Como follow the signs for Lecco and Bergamo. After the Bergamo road goes off to the right, its then 4.5K to a set of traffic lights where you turn right and the hotel is 100 yards on the left ,just past a church. There is a petrol station on the main road on the right just before the traffic lights The hotel is good value--- excellent,if expensive,food, fabulous setting with attractive pool and grounds. Although the rooms in the castle are atmospheric, our experience was they were too small . After 2 nights we switched to a villa room which was much larger. Hotel staff were variably helpful and the staffing of the bar was eccentric--2 bars, 1 barman and,when we were there, using only the outdoor poolside bar,which was not convenient for late evening drinks But overall good value and a convenient location for visits to the Lake Como towns (Bellagio and Varenna were our favourites) and also for the old town in Bergamo.

The location is on top on the mountain and it has a very nice view from the window. Next to the house is a bus stop , so can be reached easily by public transport. Car parking was available free of cost. This is a very old house , but it’s maintained very well. It is very neat and clean. Room was small and cozy with shared bathroom, but we never faced any problem with the shared bathroom. And we were also allowed to use the dining space.This house has a beautiful garden which is also accessible for the guests.The host Maya and her husband are very friendly and nice person. I would highly recommend this place to stay.

yes this property may be used for sexy purposes by some, however don’t let that deter you! the rooms were comfortable, safe and had good amenities. I stayed here for work and it was a 20min drive in to Como so was convenient and affordable. the included breakfast was also great with a good selection of food and nice coffee. I would stay here again!

The staff were super helpful and available to every request. We were very pleased with the staff. The rooms are a bit on the tired side but still in good conditions. Bathroom clean and overall location very quiet and comfortable.

This was a convenient place to stay and not too far from the autostrada. The room was spacious and clean with a lot of storage. All of the mirrors around the walls freaked our dogs out at first! and mirrors on the ceiling was very Hotel California like!! It was good to be able to park our car right outside the room. Our dogs were welcome and there was no extra charge for them which is a bonus Breakfast was plentiful and of a good standard.

My husband and I recently traveled on a dream vacation to Lake Como Italy. Our trip to Lake Como was an extension of a Viking Rhine River Cruise. We had a lovely room with views of Lake Como. The wonderful staff of Grand Hotel Imperiale went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. One stand-out employee was Andoni. He was friendly, professional, helpful. Andoni made sure that our trip to Lake Como was memorable. The charming village of Moltrasio was a perfect home base to our European Vacation. The quiet, quaint, and beautiful village was filled with friendly people, delicious restaurants, and gorgeous views. Thank you to Andoni and the rest of the Grand Hotel Imperiale for making our trip to paradise incredible.

My wife and I recently spent three nights at the Grand Hotel Imperiale at Moltrasio as part of a tour of gardens of Lakes Como and Maggiore. The reception staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. Our Executive lake view room was large and elegant with slightly obstructed views over Lake Como. The breakfast buffet was extensive. As half board guests we had unrestricted choice from the à la carte menu or ‘specials’ menu for dinner. Once various burgers had been discounted there were plenty of delicious, well presented Italian dishes. The only downside of the hotel was the terrible, utterly dysfunctional service in the restaurant every evening. I cannot recall ever being in such a poorly run restaurant, which was a disappointment in such an otherwise impressive hotel.

Amazing breakfast with serving coffee. Hotel room with nice view. Partial view to lake. Outside around entrance to hotel was at night little bit noisy. Hotel rooms needed small repairs. Comfortable huge bed. Strange shower in bathtub.

One of my favorite stays during my trip to Italy. The hotel was perfectly between boujee and classy. Everyone at the front desk was extremely friendly and escorted us to our rooms. The views from every part of this place was beautiful, from the pool right on the lake, dinning in the garden to bringing our drinks up from the bar to our balcony at night. We took the ferry from Como to Moltrasio and the hotel was right there. Quiet, peaceful getaway from all the madness and tourists. Hotel is at the bottom but walked around the small town up and down the massive hills and staircases, ending up at the local bar near the top. Hopefully this helps make your decision on where you want to stay on Lake Como!

Our room overlooked a hillside villa and lake. The water from the creek could be heard from our balcony. Breakfast was amazing. Our server, Adonis, was highly attentive and made sure our coffee was fresh. Wonderful three nights at this location.

This hotel was absolutely perfect for me and my partner. We couldn't of asked for a better location, close to the lake, the station and lots of amazing restaurants and bars. The host was so helpful with tips on where to go and what to do. The room is amazing, so much space, Jacuzzi bath was so relaxing, the kitchen had all the facilities you would need. The Balcony was lovely to sit out on a night or in the morning and just relax with some peace and quiet. Would recommend to everyone and will definitely stay again.

Woah this apartment is so beautiful! It was the perfect fit for our honeymoon. Every inch of the decor felt intentional in creating a romantic, vintage feel. We made breakfast each morning, used the jacuzzi tub at night, and slept so well in the pillowy mattress under the sky light windows where we could see the stars. Also, the host was incredible. She let us know of some train strikes occurring that would have severely messed up our travel had we not known. She also gave us good recommendations for sight seeing and transportation, as we didn’t know where to start. And we can’t forget the location - moments from the lake and the quaintest part of town with all the shops and restaurants.

The photos don't really do Alessia's Place justice and don't be put off just because it doesn't have a lake view, this is in a great location very close to the shops, restaurants and lake front. The Host was very welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful, leaving a couple of bottles of water in the fridge for us along with some fresh apricots in addition to providing some great recommendations of places to visit and eat / drink and even offered to help book tables for us if needed. The apartment itself was spacious and well decorated and has everything you could need. The location feels very secure and doesn't suffer from any noise from bars and restaurants, and is very convenient for both the town, lake and train station. There is also a lift so even if you are on the top (2nd) floor it wouldn't be an issue for anyone with heavy cases or mobility issues. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough for anyone who wants to visit Lake Como.

Nice location on top of the mountain with a great view. Very friendly host. Delicious breakfasts. A wonderful view from the room window. There was even a fireplace in the room, which we burned in the evening. A free jacuzzi with a view of the Como lake was also a nice bonus.

Fantastic views, great facilities (especially the open air jacuzzi) and superb dinner made by Gianluca. Getting in is also an adventurous experience worth mentioning.

The view from the property is really breath taking, you can see the lake and the mountains from above, it is spectacular. The property also has a jacuzzi from where the view is visible and it is quite nice during the evening.

The breakfast Oscar provided was amazing. Italian Coffee made to order (my first experience) and as much fruit, juices, yoghurt, croissants and toast as you could want. The weather was lovely so we ate it outside and the garden scenery was so lovely, green and peaceful. The location was near the train which was what we needed to use the place as a base and Oscar was so accommodating to all of our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay, Oscar is amazing and his home is beautiful. We didn't even sample half of the things he offers. He is also able to cater for additional costs but we never got to sample this. All in all, we had a lovely stay and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Oscar.

A nice bungalow in a very quiet well-kept neighborhood, with two guest rooms. Ideal for a stopover on the way to the south (no more than 10 min detour from the highway) We had a room on the first floor, with a large modern bathroom with whirlpool. Very good Italian breakfast. Also, if you arrive in time, you should definitely try the dinner they offer! The hosts are extremly nice and helpful people.

The room is very nice and clean. It's a quiet area. You have everything there: bathroom, bed and a delicious breakfast. But the best part and what makes it so special is Oscar. He takes care of you courteously. Always friendly, always has a smile. I can only recommend the room! Thanks Oscar.

Beautiful peaceful garden, drinking good coffee in nature every morning and watching the stars at night, nice quiet neighbourhood, but still felt connected. Oscar is a great host and made us feel like home. It wasn't our typical hotel stay, it was a beautiful experience, like visiting an old friend for a barbeque. We loved it.

The historic Palazzo looks as beautiful as it is portrayed on the hotel website, where you can select the exact room you want. I made the reservation on Booking.com, which did not specify which room I was going to get (I only knew that it wasn't the least expensive one, because my sister had booked that one). Was pleasantly surprised to discover that our room had a huge bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub! Elena, who runs the hotel, was a fabulous resource. She checked us in, she gave us a map, and then she offered restaurant recommendations (all excellent). She also invited us to enjoy aperitif hour at the Palazzo, which we did. It was fantastic - as was each morning's breakfast. I can't say enough about this gorgeous property.

I LOVED this place. Perfect location in the historical center. Charming little bed and breakfast style place. You are greeted with such hospitality, you truly feel welcomed here. Upon arrival I was given a welcome drink and snack, and the property manager sat down with me and went over the map, made restaurant suggestions and answered all questions I had. She will make reservations for you, call taxis, whatever you need. They are also well known for their breakfast. All homemade items being made right there in the kitchen you can see through a window. Breakfast is included and it did NOT disappoint. One of the best breakfasts I have ever had. And it is about 5 courses long and served in a lovely little garden area. The room was spacious, I had a loft room. Had nespresso machine and variety of waters in the room. The bed was so comfortable, wow. And perfect location! far enough from the plaza that it is absolutely silent at night. A market right around the corner. Very very safe. But only several meters from shopping and restaurants during the day. Excellent location. I was skeptical about Not staying in one of the usual elaborate villas along the lake, with a pool and etc. And I'm glad I stayed here. I was able to enjoy the true charm of Como. This place is a gem!

We have stayed in many different types of accommodation in Italy over many years. This was exceptional in so many ways. The website describes it as an urban luxury house. I can only add that it is stylish and elegant without being pretentious. The staff (and the owners)are thoughtful, kind and gracious. Breakfast is a delight with an extensive range of juices, fresh fruit, cheeses, hams, bread and delicious pastries and biscuits. And the selection of drinks and "nibbles" at"Aperitivo" was a great start to eating out at local restaurants. The staff provided a list of recommended restaurants which stood us in good stead. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and regularly refreshed. Throughout the Palazzo there were wonderful evocative fragrances, and interesting collections of traditional and contemporary objects and paintings. The weather was mixed but we were exceedingly comfortable and look forward to returning in sunnier months to enjoy the garden.

Our stay at the Palazzo was one of the most incredible and memorable experiences we've had. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted warmly by the staff with house-made 'welcome drinks' with sweets and were given maps and lists of local restaurants. The Palazzo is centrally located in the heart of Como and the architecture with its history is absolutely stunning. The rooms are also beautifully designed with their interiors and extremely clean with the most luxurious touches of linens, towels, slippers, teas etc. The view from the rooms overlooks the gorgeous courtyard and the mountains, and in the morning you can hear the birds singing. Each morning we were treated to the most delicious six-course breakfast with house-made products from locally sourced produce. The hospitality by team at the Palazzo is exceptional! A true boutique hotel experience!

From the second we walked through the entrance we were blown away. The directions to reception were clear and we were warmly greeted by Julie with a blazing fire, drinks and homemade biscuits. We were offered an upgrade and shown the various rooms to choose from and found each room staggeringly beautiful. The hotel has been beautifully renovated and it is clear how much thought went into everything. We had aperitivo in the alcove with the chessboard and the drinks, snacks & service were incredible. The honesty bar was a lovely little addition for a nightcap. The breakfast was an amazing experience. The five courses were delicious and each course was impeccably presented and explained. The staff throughout were amazing and Julie in particular was very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend and we hope to visit again in the Spring/Summer to enjoy the garden.

We loved absolutely everything about this property and we were sad to leave! Comfortable bed, clean, gorgeous rooms, amazing communication and so much help with any advice needed. The laundry smells amazing!! So the room is so fresh and probably one of the best places I have ever stayed!!! The breakfast option is amazing and the staff at Caffe Caffe bar were so lovely and beautiful food provided with our stay! I can’t recommend this place enough. Palazzo Mezzini was an amazing stay! Perfect location, beautiful room and wonderful staff. The courtyard area felt very safe and was already decorated for christmas which was an extra plus!! We loved how walkable everything was from the accommodation, the spec of the room, and our overall experience. Check in and out was super easy, and included breakfast was at nearby restaurants which was such a treat!!! There are tea and coffee facilities in the room and a beautiful bathroom. We were lucky to get a complimentary room upgrade and really enjoyed our room!! We highly recommend this accommodation if you’re looking for a nice getaway in a friendly, vibrant and inviting city!!

Everything! Palazzo Mazzini is one of these hidden gems and we were lucky to have found it. We were greeted by the very friendly staff, who provided us with all the information that we needed. Our room was huge and very modern, with a very tasteful interior design and everything was high spec. For breakfast we were given vouchers and we had the choice of three different cafes which all were at the doorstep of the hotel. Each cafe served delicious breakfast options, so we had a different breakfast at a different place each morning, we loved it. The location in the old town of Como couldn’t have been any better, it is centrally located but very quiet.

The rooms and everything inside them was extremely new and clean. It is safe, and the staff is very helpful. The location is extremely central and close to everything around it, even the train station. Very hospitable. There is no breakfast in the property itself, but they made an agreement with the next door cafe for breakfast, which was delicious.

The decor was stylish and the bed was super comfy. It was a peaceful location central in Como, and the breakfast each morning was delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming - we had a wonderful stay in Como!

Sympathetically restored farmhouse in the middle of the woods. Lovely views from the grounds. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, well equipped room, comfortable bed. Clean shower room. Good sized towels and plenty of toiletries. Nice to see a fridge in the room. Breakfasts were very good, a good variety of sweet and savoury options and freshly made hot drinks. We took the half board option, which was excellent value. Food was simply cooked, using local ingredients and full of flavour. Very generous portions! Others have commented on the road up, yes it was narrow, yes it was a mix of cobbles, asphalt and dirt, but it was well maintained and with care an 'interesting' drive up. Don't let the negatives comments about the road put you off.

The agriturismo is a bit hard to access, as it is in the middle of a mountain, so you would need a car, but once you are there it is magical. The place is lovely, sorrounded by trees and with a view, it also has animals, and the building itself, made of stone, is amazing. The room was okay, very clean, with a spacious bathroom. The staff is nice and helpful. The highlight was definitely the food. The dinner was really good and the breakfast amazing, could not have been better.

This place is absolutely amazing. The food was exceptional. The building is incredible and the staff are super friendly. The chef must be very proud of the menu created as it’s some of the best food we’ve ever had. Breakfast is equally fantastic with more food on offer than you could possibly eat in one sitting. Extensive wine list! The hotel is dog friendly and the owners have their own dog which is a very laid back boy so won’t disturb your dog at all. Dogs are allowed in the restaurant too. This place blew us away and we can’t wait to return in the summer and make more use of the outside space. Many people say the road up to the hotel is tight and difficult. We came up in our 2016 bmw estate with a roof box on and had no problems whatsoever. There’s a handy YouTube view someone posted a while back of the road going up which I’d recommend watching (just look up the hotel name and you’ll see it. I believe it’s 2 Germans in a landrover who filmed it) there’s one tiny section of about 20 meters where I had to put my wing mirrors in but that’s only because I didn’t want to scratch them rather than having too. The rest of the drive up is fine for any confident driver. Just take it slow, go slowly over the bumps and if anyone comes down the hill there’s plenty to if places to pull over and let them pass. Obviously I’d imagine this is more difficult in winter. We went in May after a rain storm so the ground was very wet.

First, the area where is situated the hotel is very beautiful. Agriturismo Cascina Mirandola is surrounded by greenery, it is quiet and peaceful. The way is normal, you just need small/normal size car and have to drive slow. The rustic style of the hotel and restaurant, as well as the presence of the animals, create a very pleasant atmosphere. The stuff are smiling, friendly and very cool. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Coffee and food were great. *We really felt inloved with the funny ponies and the dogs❤️

Hotel was absolutely amazing!Very good location,located on the mountain with great views,not far from Como lake. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Beautifuly decorated farm style hotel with big selection breakfast choice which was super delicious. Comfortable room with big and comfy bed. Will definetely be back if in the area again and recommended for anyone to stay there!

The communication from the owners before our arrival was first-class. The location was out of the centre of Como, with lovely views from the balcony across the valley. Our host Matteo was welcoming, and showed us our room. The room had an ensuite bathroom with bath (very welcome after many places with only showers!) and also a shower. There was also a pleasant common area, which we had to ourselves as the only guests. This was where breakfast was served. The breakfast was lovely and had some delicious home-made items such as the bread. At the end of our stay, we were going to catch the local train to the centre, but Matteo offered to drive us into the Centre, and would not take any money for doing so. We were impressed. Overall, we thought B&B Sari was excellent value for money.

Exceptional breakfast and hosts. Comfortable and welcoming accommodation in quiet location. Only 10 minute walk to regular bus to Como centre but note there is a short climb up a single track road to the property.

A beautiful agriturismo place, in a perfectly maintained and decorated building and garden. Top swimming pool with sauna, jacuzzi and external lounge. Gorgeous breakfast, much above italian standard. Very pleasant staff and owner. 10 minutes from Como, Olmo villa, Brunate...

This place was exceptional! Super friendly staff, amazingly renovated and with attention to the finest details. The pool and the view were just breath taking! The room was super clean, the garden is beautiful, and the breakfast was superb. We wait to come back for another stay!

From the owner Alessia to all the staff everyone was absolutely charming. It’s a really warm and friendly place to stay. We were given an excellent reccomendation of a restaurant to eat at close by, the rooms we stayed in were really lovely - we had a studio double and the 2 bedroom apartment which were very comfortable and stylish. The balcony of the studio double is so Lovely to sit and read at. Breakfast is extensive and delicious. Couldn’t have been happier except maybe to have had another night there! Thank you !

Beautiful manor house in the mountains. Quiet, with a panorama of Como. The bed was literally the best I ever had! Firm mattress, excellent pillows. Alessia, as well as the lady who served the delicious breakfast, are very friendly and helpful hosts.

Renata made the stay perfect. She is involved and helpful, adaptive to our plans. Everything is clean and provided with everything we needed - and more! Delicious and extensive breakfast. I had a little accident (by my own stupidity) and she made a panna cotta to soothe the pain, and that says everything you need to know about this wonderful woman. She knows a lot about Como and things to do in the area. Dinner tips, activities, sightseeing. Also the location is perfect; To the Como waterfront 5 mins by bus or 20 by foot. We will definitely be coming back.

This place is a home away from home. The host is amazing she made us feel home right away, and she is so informative. She made our bed and cleaned our room everyday. We wake up to a coffee smell and warm breakfast pur entire stay. She even gave us a to go breakfast on the day we leaving because we missed breakfast.The place is so clean, quite and has a home feeling. I would love to go back if go back to como.

Great location too – close to shops and restaurants, and only about a 10-minute walk to the city center. Parking on-site was handy, even if a bit tight. Would definitely stay again!

I had an amazing stay here. The host helped me a lot with tips for places to see in como and instructions to get to the B&B and was always available if i needed extra help. Breakfast was good as well and I felt comfortable and welcome here. The room was clean and the facilities were good. It was a great location too since everything was nearby. I would definitely come here to stay again.

We liked everything! Good location near the train station and 5 minutes walk to the port. The apartment was on a quiet street. Interior was very modern, we enjoyed a Prosecco in the jacuzzi. The apartment was spotless clean and equipped with hair dryer, iron, towels. We will come back for sure!

First of all, We liked the staff (Kudos). They are very cooperative, they have exceeded our expectations. The lady who clean the room is very friendly, she doesn't understand english but my wife and I were using the translator to understand each other, she is really helpful as well as the management there. Location is excellent, 7 min to the lake by walk, however, you can take the bus from outside. We always went by walking since there's a lot to explore on the way, you can make it a little longer to discover the restaurants, food shops, and so on. This place is extremely cosy, very well done, extremely relaxing inside out. Highly recommended.

This place was incredible! It’s in the perfect part of town where it’s quiet and peaceful, then walk 7 minutes and your in the town center by all the restaurants and shops and the beautiful views of Como the property itself is perfect with all the amenities you need I would recommend this place to anyone going to Como!

Whilst this apartment is located just outside the main Como city area, it is very close to the Como SG train station and the street has some wonderful restaurants and a lot of character. Whilst we did not meet the host , they helped us via a phone to figure out the pass code to the door - at 10 pm at night. Our travel connections had been messed up during the day so we were very glad to receive help at that time. The design and decor of the apartment is very modern and luxurious, it is very quiet and the outside courtyard area is a bonus. We very much enjoyed our stay there. Very clean and comfortable.

One of the best apartment/hotel we have ever stayed in! The bed is just so comfortable, the steam shower was so relaxing, the spa was great after a long day and there is so much space to relax and walk around / be comfortable. The patio is really nice to relax and be outside - the neighbour’s don’t bother you at all. It was a little hard getting into the room as the door knob was hard to navigate - hot tip: enter the code, twist door knob to the left once then pull and push to open. This was the easiest way! The wifi password - they do send it to you so make sure to get a screenshot of it as the one written in the room, some of the letters look slightly different from how we would write it so was a little confused :) but was fine. Really great value and prefect location right by train station and in the middle with a short 5 min walk to ferries and middle of town! There was hardly a smell of chlorine so it was totally fine with the spa on. Thank you for having us!
