All together a very, very good experience. Staff, especially Joyce at front desk was exceptional - friendly, kind, professional, helpful. Room- spacious, clean. Parking-safe. 24hr security.

The receptionist upon arrival on the 15th March was exceptionally kind and compassionate after I had been through a very stressful time..what an exceptional human being. Room was spacious, so comfortable, clean, quiet, windows were open and it felt like home. Shower was magnificent and so were the smellies left there for body and hair washing. BIG THUMBS UP!!!

Location location location. It’s located in a perfect central location. Easy access to most parts of the city. The hotel is well secured with enough parking space. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well maintained and clean

We liked the decor of the room, friendliness of the staff and sound proof room. We had room 207...very peaceful n quaint. Nobody disturbed us. Fresh decor and great bathroom. The food at the restaurant was exceptional. The staff were friendly and willing to go above and beyond what was necessary. The room was super clean and clean.

This place is simply amazing! Lovely host, Martha, was very welcoming and helpful. I loved design of this place, rooms are charming. Got cute room for myself, not so specious, but cozy with nice shower and Terrasse. Rooms are tidy, no strange smell or something disturbing. Bed was big and comfy. Beautiful common area and garden with pool. They have very nice dog and chickens at yard. To get to beach is 3 min through narrow passage. And beach is beautiful and deserted. To get to Umhlanga center and restaurants is 5 min. Take Uber, it’s very convenient. Looking forward to come back again 🙏☺️

It is beautifully decorated with a tranquil garden, and a short walk to the beach. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great. Claude and Debbie are excellent hosts. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I loved the plunge coffee in the room.

We had a very friendly greeting when we arrived and help with our luggage. Our room was spacious, clean with fresh high quality linen. A spacious bathroom with shower and bath. A bonus was to find that when we returned from breakfast our room had already been serviced. It won't take us long to look for accommodation if we return to Durban. Maison H will be top of the list.

I loved everything about this property!!! The house, garden and rooms are beautiful. Every detail on what would make you comfortable had been thought about. A cupboard to unpack with plenty of hangers. The basin had space to put out all my toiletries. The bed was incredibly comfortable with beautiful linen. There was a table in my room to sit at and eat at. Lots of outside and inside tables to sit and relax. My room had a kitchenette with full crockery and cutlery and a fridge and microwave. A full range of toiletries were provided. They are one block from the beach - so I walked on the beach every morning. This was a work trip - but I felt like I was on holiday. The staff are great and they offer a wonderful breakfast in the morning.

Amazing! This guesthouse is absolutely beautiful. Everything is perfectly maintained and it has a lot of charm. The hosts and the staff are lovely. The guesthouse it exactly as shown on the pictures. The location is great as well, it is a short drive away from the beach and a nice restaurant/bar area where you can walk around. The rooms aver very nice and spacious. If you are looking for a nice, charming place you should come here.

The garage was safe to park our car off rhe street .reserve this when booking . Good check in service. Contacted owner to confirm booking was reserved so check in was stress-free. Owner kindly helped with our bags up the stairs . Truly appreciated the kindness as we had a very very long day . Very clean rooms and smelled good . Has a shower and bath. Good toiletries. Clean bedding and extra super warm blanket . Aircon heater was working well but didn't need it . Tastefully decorated . Had a seperate sleeper couch in the very spacious room .And a separate common dining room with a microwave and Crockery. Had a restful peaceful well deserved rest . It was a home away from home in a very quiet neighborhood . We really enjoyed our stay there, very friendly and welcoming. The place is very neat and secure. House keeping done everyday, clean white line and soft white towels. Everything there is perfect. My kids also loved the place. I'm definitely going to book my stay there on my next visit. I can recommend this place to anyone.

I loved the apartment overall. It is the most beautiful and amazing apartment I have come across. There was nothing that I did not like or love about the apartment. It was modern and the host has amazing taste. The views from the balcony area were spectacular. The apartment was fully equipped. We did not get a chance to go to the pool but the pool looked lovely. Parking was also easy to find. And the building has a lift to help you move around. The building is huge and the apartments are absolutely incredible. I recommend a stay at this apartment anytime. I really loved the apartment and there's much to enjoy about it and feel right at home. You can even sit on the balcony and enjoy the views. You can also relax in a nice cold bubble bath in the bathroom. The bathroom itself is so lovely and the apartment has more than just 1 toilet. I would definitely stay at this apartment again because there's too much to enjoy. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything you needed. The apartment also had cleaning detergents. The host also keeps sugar and tea for you to make if you're feeling for it.

The apartment & location, it was convenient to get around and do all the activities that we planned. Easy to access the beach as well.. It's quite and peaceful. A beautiful sea view & Port view... We will definitely come back... Top notch it was

The sea view, the lake view, the mountain view gave me the best experience. The glass wall gave excellent views. The apartment was extremely clean and well decorated.

The apartment is exactly what you see in the pictures. It's so beautiful and clean, very spacious and felt homely. The bed is very comfortable. The view of the ocean was spectacular. It was very quiet. I will definitely book that apartment again next time I'm in Durban.

This B and B is a rare find - excellent rates for a very comfortable room with access to a balcony and ocean views. Safe area to walk to the beach and the restaurant and bar area. Very convenient for Durban airport as well as Umhlanga beach and ocean promenade

Our stay was absolutely comfortable and cozy. Love the spacious rooms and cleanliness, as well as the kind, amazing staff. The ocean view was beautiful. Hats off to the amazing chef- breakfast was so delicious and well presented.

Loved the location and the pool. Great and friendly staff. Chef knew exactly how to make a delicious breakfast. Cleaner didn't bother when the "Do not disturb" sign was on, and when she cleaned, it was spotless. Balcony sea view was stunning. The room is very spacious with a HUGE bathroom, we loved that! The walk to the mall and all types of restaurants were not that far, about 20 minutes.

The location is perfect. Not busy. The view from the balcony is beautiful. We were in Durban for the Nedbank final and we had our bags with us because we used an Uber from the Airport. The housekeeping lady was friendly and we could leave our bags behind as check-in was only at 14:00 and she was still busy cleaning. The apartment is clean, perfect holiday spot. My whole family love it.

This apartment was tastefully decorated.It was spacious enough for 4 people to spend the night or a few nights.The beds were super comfortable.The showers and Bathooms were very neat and clean We enjoyed the morning sunrise on the Balcony.Close proximity(walking distance) to the beach and Ushaka Marine World.

We were supporters at the comrades marathon this year and was abit sceptical as we would normally book at Silversands or The Palace marine parade but The Sails have exceeded my expectations, the place was immaculate, breathtaking view, apartment was clean and fresh beautiful!!!!!!I The beach wow!!! cannot wait for my next trip.

The apartment was big and sufficient linen and towels. Area is safe. It was close to Ushaka walking distance. The beach was close by. Pool on the roof was nice to cool down. Friendly staff when arriving. Safe parking space for two vehicles. Sufficient seating area. Gas Braier was available with LP Gas.
