This hotel is one of the finest in Dusseldorf. Very convenient location. The rooms were very spacious, quiet, clean, comfortable. THEY are missing USB for easier smart phones connection. Breakfast was good; however, extremely expensive for what it was offered daily. ALL the staff were very friendly and helpful, very outstanding thanks TO ALL. I was very disappointed with the reservation and front desk manager. We lost over $5,000 because I booked several rooms in advance, one of the employees had an accident in the USA a few days before the travel, the hotel didn't help giving any credit even when after an agent from Expedia called to explain. That was a lot of money when we paid over $40,000 for all the rooms.

Excellent hotel in the city center, shops and many restaurants in walking distance. , very attentive staff, elegant decor without being stuffy, personal assistant available for arrangements. Large and comfortable rooms with great bathrooms. The restaurant is also excellent with a regional touch, Ms. Silvia at the breakfast service was particularly friendly. Overall, a great hotel to stay at in the city center if Duesseldorf.

I love this hotel! From the moment we drove up, the valet made us feel welcome and took the burden of the day's drive off our shoulders. We exited our car and the rest was in the hands of the more than capable hotel staff. The hotel is gorgeous. The reception desk was friendly and gave us suggestions of things to do and places to visit. A huge "living room" behind a door with key access awaited for relaxation and coffee/tea/reading purposes and concierge services. Our room was super comfortable, beautiful and technologically fun! When we left, we wished we were staying another night or two. We were given bottles of water for the trip ahead. I want to return NOW!!!

This hotel was pure luxury. The staff went above and beyond. The food service was excellent as was the bar. The location was extremely good for shopping sightseeing. It was just a short walk to the river. Unfortunately our view could’ve been fabulous. looked onto a construction site of a company who had gone bankrupt and it was in process, but not going anywhere.

Surprisingly good service. The front desk is really quick and efficient, requests were met instantly. The breakfast staff remembered my coffee order on the second day, while staying amongst hundreds of guests! You can grab a drink on their swanky bar, which operates separately from the hotel. They had upgraded my room and I especially loved going through the luxury book prints I found. Pillows are super soft, be warned.

The bed was comfortable and big. The room was kept very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. I had a nice view. It was great having a jacuzzi bath and a shower in the bathroom. Also, a fridge and mini safe in the room. The location was perfect for me as it was a short walk from the PSD Dome where I had tickets for a concert and the tram stops to get to central Düsseldorf. Also fairly close to the airport by taxi.

Amazing hotel, location is good with free parking behind a gate so feels kind of secure. Not far from hotel is tram which is going to the center in ~20min. Rooms were clean, spacious and we were able to use the Sauna and wellness place incl. Breakfast was also great, a lot of choice. Staff super friendly & helpful.

Great breakfast/ restaurant. Bar staff were attentive. Many patrons had attended a concert at the PSD Dome nearby (Dimash Qudaibergen). When we returned the staff played his music on Spotify as we celebrated. Perfect way to end the day. Thanks to them for being so attentive and considerate. Loved the fire in the foyer.

A beautiful themed room with a Hollywood theme. Lots of attention to detail with the floors, pictures on the walls and other little details. Clean warm room, clean showers and overall great experience. Great restaurant next to the hotel.

The room was very nice and big. Be aware that the Bathroom has no entry door , so if you are with someone you dont feel comfortable enough to see you taking a shower than make an agreement of when you will shower. Also the room cleaning seems not to include a fresh bed linen every day. Aside of this for this price it was a good hotel.

Spacious rooms, clean, nice bathroom, nice lobby, good breakfast, parking in the building. Location was on walking distance of our party, not the most interesting part of town but perfect for us.

It’s very cool placed as it’s really close to the office and the transport system so we had literally 0 issues getting anywhere. The breakfast was so great! My son adored the pancakes 🥞 All receptionists were extremely helpful and nice, as well as waitresses. The room was clean, we had a crib for a child with additional towels at no cost. Generally awesome 🙌

The hotel was very easy to find with a huge parking lot. Friendly staff, clean and modern room/facilities. We stayed here to go to the Dokomi convention, it was about 10min away (by car) from the hotel. Perfect. Another honorable mention was the amazing IT apprentice guy that had to walk every guest to their room due to the door keycards malfunction. He was our favourite person, such a great guy with an amazing personality. That poor guy had to escort everyone, most of them multiple times until the hotel managed to fix the keycard problem. I wish him the very best, he made our stay a 10/10! :) Everyone spoke fluent english and german. Will definitely go there again.

Close to the city center by car. Near to the airport. The appartment was full equipmet incl. small kitchen. comfortable beds. Tasty breakfast (7:30-10:30) and delicious coffee.

Exceptional stay — even better than expected! I initially moved to this property because I wasn't satisfied with the hotel that had been booked for me — and what a blessing that turned out to be! This place exceeded all my expectations. It was even cleaner and more welcoming than described on Booking.com. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and everything was spotless, from the bedroom to the bathroom. I especially loved the balcony, which came with a table and two chairs and offered a peaceful view of the garden — perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The whole place is remarkably quiet, yet centrally located. We chose to walk everywhere — to the main station, Rheinpromenade, Altstadt, Oberkassel, and Hofgarten — and it was totally doable. Still, there are plenty of public transport options nearby, including buses, trams, and U-Bahn connections. The staff deserve a special mention — always smiling, kind, and ready to help. I truly felt at home and taken care of. I wholeheartedly recommend this property. I would return without hesitation!

The suite-room was very comfortable with excellent bed. Extra bed was provided for my son and they did not charge for it. Bathroom is very comfortable and well-stocked. The small kitchen is very convenient to cook and extra pots-pans are provided. Floor heating facility of the room is so good and makes it very comfortable during winter. Location of the hotel is excellent with restaurants, bus-stops, tram-stops close by. It is walking distance from Konigsallee, the main shopping street. Reception staff were very helpful and co-operative. They looked after every need and went out of the way to make our stay comfortable. Parking is available on the street in front of the hotel or in the Parkhaus close by (2mins walk from the hotel). The hotel is very cosy and has all facilities (like lift) for a comfortable stay. We are Very satisfied and will definitely highly recommend the hotel. It is value for money.

Great location in a quiet street. 20 min walk to the train station. Parking just around the corner at 22 euro per day. Accommodation was immaculate very modern and well appointed. A spacious, airy one bedroom apartment with sitting and eating area. Bathroom was gorgeous with walk in shower. Very comfortable bed and nice bed linen. Kitchen with hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher and plates, cups, bowls, glasses and cutlery for two people. Pleasant balcony overlooking courtyard.

The hotel is designed and finished in a modern and minimalistic fashion which is befitting of being in the heart of the city of dusseldorf. The location is very central right in the middle of Alstadt and a part of the little Tokyo district with all of its Japanese dinning spots, and like 2 min walk to aldi supermarket and the main shopping district area. The Suite I was in had all the amenities you may need during your stay from a fully equipped kitchen to a TV seating area and a separate bedroom which was cleaned daily and well maintained. The bed was super comfortable and very supportive. They were also offering a full breakfast buffet service for their guests that lasted until late (12pm) which is also a plus for those who want to enjoy a good meal to start the day, and for those who want to skip this buffet they had also provided free fresh fruits, tea and fresh lemon water by the entrance avaliable throughout the day for any guest. Now the highlight of my stay were the amazing reception staff who were all highly professional and very friendly, showing willingness to provide any needed service or support with any request, they were really the stars of this hotel apartment and this superior service ethic made my stay even more relaxing and welcoming.

The staff is very friendly and are real professionals! The decor is has a nice ambiance, modern but makes you feel at home. In the lobby there are complementary treats all day long which makes you even feel more welcome. The room is spacious and has all the facilities you need or think of and the beds are perfect, we slept like baby's ;-). Good size bathroom with enough space to put all your things and the shower is great! We loved the balcony, nice to be able to sit outside a bit. The rooms and the main area's are super clean and everything looked shiny :). Good size tv in the room and enough sockets to charge whatever device you want and WIFI is good. You can see they build/remodeled this hotel according to the needs of modern travelers. Very nice that they have their own parking area below the hotel. The locations is also good, very close to the main shopping street and the old town and as a bonus close to little Tokyo! Breakfast is also very good, lot's to choose from and the chef can prepare your eggs just the way you like them. A very professionally run hotel with a wonderful staff that makes your stay even better!

Top service-minded and friendly people, complaints were addressed immediately (noise). The owner was generous and gave us a free breakfast on the house our first night. Their international breakfast was amazing, it had a lot to choose from and they also had gluten-free and lactose-free options. We stayed in a studio apartment with a balcony, and while it was small it was neat and had everything we needed and was very clean. We liked it so much that we booked it again over the weekend. The location was very convenient, and safe, only a 10min walk to the central station and all transportation was within a 5min walk. Definitely a place to return to!

AMAZING PROPERTY! big shout out to Han(e)? He was a fantastic introduction to your property. Calm, patient, helpful and waited outside the property to guide us to the parking lift. The entire hotel is efficient, clean, HUGE space with everything you could need. If we ever return to Düsseldorf (which was amazing btw) we will def stay here. Hane is the star, very helpful with every question and always with a smile. The coffee and Arabic sweets were greatly appareciated. Even the bathrooms in their restaurant was very clean, modern and efficient. The property is in an excellent location. Walking distance to all the beautiful spots and great food. We thoroughly enjoyed Pho-X.

This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. The hospitality at reception was wonderful and the staff speak many languages which was incredibly impressive. The apartment we had (17) was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The living area was spacious and just absolutely gorgeous. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were modern and very clean. The breakfast was a buffet style and the meat was halal if you need that option. The choice of food was extensive and the service was attentive, especially towards our children. They felt cared for and spoiled! I really can’t say enough good things about this accommodation.

B-Hotel is a modern establishment where rooms are equipped with modern furniture and facilities. Rooms and bathrooms are spotless clean, and the bed very comfortable. The microwave oven in the room was an added value. The free Wi-Fi worked perfectly all the time. Although breakfast was not included in the rate, yet Marion, the hotel friendly owner (who is on site everyday), offers free coffee with fresh croissants, jam, honey and chocolate spread every morning. There are a few restaurants nearby (A map in the room showed the location of each). The hotel is located in a quiet street, so no noise from traffic. It took me 15 minutes to walk to the famous Königsalle. I will definitely stay there again whenever I visit Düsseldorf.

Having not conducted much research prior to my stay in Dusseldorf, I was so thrilled to discover what an excellent location this hotel is in. As a solo female traveller I always felt safe in the area which is leafy and mostly residential. It is also within short walking distance to many streets filled with independent shops, cafes and restaurants. The closest train/tram is just five minutes walk and the train to/from the airport is an easy 10-15 minute walk. There are a number of supermarkets too. The hotel itself was very clean and of an excellent standard with modern decor. Very quiet and great wifi and superb water pressure in shower. Bottled water is provided however be mindful there no minifridge. Staff were very helpful and nice.

I have stayed in this wonderful hotel 3 times and i wouldn't stay anywhere else in Dusseldorf. Its close to the Aldstadt and River Rhine . The hotel has been renovated and is perfect. The rooms are very comfortable spacious and modern with a great Shower system. I had a room with climate control as did my friends and we enjoyed free hot drinks and croissants each morning. Mario and his wife are so lovely and will assist you in any way they can to make your stay as good as it can possibly be. I left my key in my room one evening and even though it was late Mario was at hand to get me back into my room. He really is a wonderful man and made a real difference to our stay once again. There is secure parking which is secluded off street and i honestly wouldn't stay anywhere else when i visit Dusseldorf.

The manager was so helpful, accommodating our van and letting us park out the back. The hotel was refurbished in 2021 so the rooms are clean, fresh and look beautiful! Comfy beds, hot shower...a light breakfast included, croissants and coffee so that was great!!

The hotel is really nice. Location is great and very quiet at night as there is no car traffic. Beds and bedding are very very comfortable and high quality: I had the best nights sleep. Feels like you’re sleeping on a cloud. The rooms and bathrooms are freshly renovated, clean and overall decor is very beautiful. I really loved the combinations of beautiful wall paint colours that work so well together. The breakfast is really one of the best I’ve had. Everything is offered on mini plates in tiny portions, giving you a chance to try many different dishes. Everything is very beautifully prepared and looks and tastes great. The atmosphere in the breakfast area is quiet and peaceful, and very cosy. You can als order warm eggs (omelet), but it did take about 20 mins, so be aware if you’re short on time. They also prepare the coffees barista style. The keys to the room are big and very heavy but you can leave them at reception before you go (it’s open 24/7). All in all I would love to stay here again. The staff have been all friendly too.

Fantastic stay. Great night’s sleep. Brilliant and friendly staff. Breakfast was included which was rare for this price, and it was exceptional. A chef cooked me scrambled eggs in situ in the restaurant. it really was excellent. The room was great - very quiet, very modern, comfortable. A non functioning lightbulb and not many plugs in my room, the only downside. It was an exceptional place for the cost. Excellent location near the river and restaurants.

This is probably the hotel with the friendliest service that I have ever visited - and I travel a lot. This morning at 5:30, jet lagged and hungry I went downstairs. The moment I left the room, I could smell scent of fresh bread in the air. When I arrived at the breakfast room, a super friendly gentlement, Rudi, offered to prepare breakfast for me even though it was only scheduled to start at 7:00. He prepared fresh scrambled egg and coffee for me and let me choose from a wide variety of bread, cold cuts and cheese even though the buffet preparations had not even started yet. Rudi seemed genuinely happy that he could help his guest. The other staff members here are also very friendly, with lots of positive energy. Highly recommended.

Everything! The location is perfect for seeing Dusseldorf at its best, close to the river and old town but away from any night-time noise. The building is of historic value, and there are several pictures around showing the history. Breakfast was exceptional and of our 8 day trip around northern Europe, the best we had. There is a parking garage close, the bays are a little small however if you look around you will find several 1 car bays (important to some, not to all), the garage is 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant to talk to and the ladies at breakfast were extremely helpful and cheerful. Thank you all, we had a lovely time.

Genuinely my best hotel stay anywhere in Germany! Staff was very friendly and welcoming, the decoration is simple yet nice, the room is cozy, everything was perfectly clean. We didn't try the breakfast buffet, but it seemed nice and other guests appeared to be happy. The location is great -- right at the edge of Japan town with excellent food options. The walk to the old city, where most the attractions are, is around 20 minutes. And the Central Station is less than 10 minutes away, making day trips easier.

Excellent breakfast buffet.They have made the most of the spaces that they have and the rooms are all differently decorated. My friend and I stayed 2 nights and had a great stay. Great location for us, near the old town, transport and concert venue.

I would give them 11 if I could. I stayed in one of their apartments across the street and so had to cross over to No. 18 for breakfast, but for that breakfast, I would have readily crossed half of Duesseldorf. The best part of the mornings was the fabulous Frau Mueller and her competent and ever helpful colleagues. The perfect start of the day, every day. But the hotel and its staff really excelled when I returned after a nasty accident. They went out of their way to get my damaged and bloodied gear fixed in no time, graciously rearranged my booking to fit in my hospital stay, and made sure that I was taken care of in every way, Sheer bliss! And a final short note about the hotel garden: This little green oasis just a few minutes from the main station is the perfect place to unwind.

We were given a very stylish and comfortable room on the ground floor with windows facing the back garden. It was a lovely, quiet room and the bed was super comfy. We really liked that there was 24-hour reception. The breakfast spread offered a wide choice, was freshly prepared and delicious. There was no electric kettle in our room, but we were able to get hot water for tea any time.

The building and Christmas decorations were stunning, we had a business suite and it was very spacious and comfortable. The space in the rooms, the high ceilings, and the hotel's decor, it was quiet and didn't have a lot of people come and go, the restaurant for breakfast was also good (a little expensive though), and the friendly staff. It's close to the old city and a walking distance from some restaurants for that quick dinner or snack.

Easy access by train from the airport. Good location for restaurants and shopping.( Aldi supermarket around the corner). Walking distance to Altstadt - Old Town ( longest bar with around 260 pubs, restaurants and bars) and Rhine River. Neat and clean property with lift access. Comfortable bed. Small well equipped kitchenette. Good bathroom. Clear directions for key pad self check in and received messages to check we got in ok.

The location was great and easy to get to. Lots of food options nearby. Close to the central station with lots of local transport nearby. Entry to the apartment was very easy and nice not to have to worry about keys with the entry code. The apartment itself was clean and just enough space for 3 travelers. Greatly appreciated the fridge and coffee pods/coffee maker. There's also a small elevator to go up with your suitecase, which was also helpful. Access to Netflix on the tv, which was nice for the evening time. Great stay overall!

We enjoyed our 7-day stay at Centerapartments Tonhallenstraße (apartment T22) in a very central location in Düsseldorf. The apartment is very close to the Japanese Quarter, the Inner City, Hofgarten and the main train station, which was perfect for us. The apartment itself is spacious and can easily host 3 (maybe 4) people). It has a small kitchen, which seemed to have everything you need (but we did not use it much, despite the provided tea and coffee - thank you!). We did not have much interaction with the host, but if we had any, it was always welcoming and kind. Overall, Centerapartments Tonhallenstraße might be not to cosiest stay for a long Düsseldorf stay like ours. But we were happy in general and would recommend staying there, especially for short-term stays.

Nice spacious room and very clean and comfortable! I was also most appreciative of the heavy bed linens for these cold winter nights. It made climbing into bed really nice after spending a few hours at the Christmas markets of Dusseldorf old city. They also have an amazing spread for the breakfast buffet! There are so many things to choose from. The location of this hotel is quite nice too, as you can walk to the old city center. They have all the markets spread out, and it only takes about 10 mins to get there. The reception staff were also very helpful and sweet.

Room was spacious and spotless. Facilities included a safe, air conditioning, iron and ironing board. Location was great a few mins from the main shopping area and Christmas Markets. Supermarket, coffee shops and chemist just outside the hotel aswell as the u bahn and s bahn to the main train station. Airport less than 15 mins from the main train station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice continental breakfast with a good choice of foods. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very clean. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. Rooms (and of course beds) are very comfortable and clean. There is a high speed fre Wi-fi. The hotel seems luxury in a budget price range. In this price range, the hotel is probably one of the best hotels that we have stayed. And it is probably the best hotel of this category in that region. But the most impressive thing was the wonderful breakfast with various options.

I was very satisfied with this small hotel. Comfortable, clean room, nice breakfast room and restaurant, very good breakfast, delicious dinner, friendly and helpful staff. I have already booked my next stay in this landhaus. 😉

Based on the reviews that I read, I had high hopes for this place, and it exceeded my expectations. The staff and maintenance of the hotel are exceptional. The photos online do not do it justice. I loved the small details like fresh flowers and candles on the table at the restaurant and in the breakfast rooms. It was evident that attention to detail is paid in the upkeep of the hotel. I felt so welcome upon arriving, "welcome" drink and chocolate, yes please. I don't speak German and they made sure to send a server my way during the two nights that I ate dinner in the restaurant. The food was fabulous. I loved the ambiance of their restaurant. Breakfast was great. The location is about a ten minute walk from the heart of Kettwig. It is less than a five minute walk from an Aldi and Lidl. I went for a run each morning in the countryside towards the village of Mintard. I stayed for two nights after being in Cologne for business. The stay was just what I needed to relax after a busy week. This is one of the few places that left me with the feeling that I would love to go back someday.

What a find. We pulled into the parking lot in our trusty van and before we could get our luggage our host Juergen, was at hand with two craft beers and a bar of chocolate. The hotel has been in the family for 99 years and it shows. Our room was spacious and well appointed. All rooms seem different and have lots of charm. The bedding was excellent. Bathroom was also good with an excellent shower. Dinner was in the warm and friendly Keller like restaurant, full of locals too. The menu was standard German pub fare, lots of it and with prompt and friendly service. So if you need a stop anywhere near Essen, go no further than this fine family establishment, where the guest is truly king!

We spent a weekend here for a friend's birthday party. The owners are wonderful - friendly, helpful, smiling. We had a suite with a bedroom and a living room. The living room had an A/C but the bedroom did not. We didn't try it so have no idea if A/C works. The shower was a walk in with excellent water pressure; the bathroom had a large counter for 2 people. Bed was comfy and breakfast was good - usual German breakfast. It's a short walk to the River Ruhr and center of the old town. I would stay here again any time!

This has been my 3rd time in Essen (Kettwig) and my 3rd time at this location and I wouldn't stay anywere else! The roooms are beautiful, amazingly clean with beautiful bathrooms. The hotel owner greets you upon arrival with a welcome drink and chocolate bar and is extremely helpful, truly treatng you as family. Nice buffet breakfast, restaurant on site with both an outdoor and indoor seating area and traditioanl German cuisine. Vehicle parking on site too. The hotel is a bit of a walk to the historic part however, possible.

Location is very convenient: S-bahn connection, several U-lines, in walking distance from Little Tokyo. The hotel is very nice and beautiful. We didn't mind the stairs, but we also didn't have any suitcases with us. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and the coffee was great! For breakfast there were eggs (you can choose how you would like your eggs to be cooked), Müsli, waffles, vegetables, fruits, different types of cheese, spreads and meat etc. The room itself was very clean, a lot of place to store your things. Spacious and very nice bathroom. Great working air conditioning - it just saved us when it was +35 +37 outside.

The room was really lovely, large and spacious with quality furnishings and decor. Bed was comfortable, pillows extremely soft (a little too soft) but manageable. WiFi was non existent which was disappointing. Breakfast had lots of choices and cooked elements were cooked well and were tasty. The breakfast room was elegantly furnished and well equipped. Shower was at a strange angle but again manageable. Although our room was to the front and looked on to the tram lines noise was not an issue once the windows were closed. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming.

Receptionist was very helpful and let me know where to find a good restaurant. Room really clean and comfortable. Gluten free porridge supplied by me was cooked for my breakfast. Very friendly. Plan to stay again next time I am in Dusseldorf.

It was like stepping back in time a bit with this hotel. I loved it. I loved how CLEAN the hotel and room were. The decor was interesting and it's fun to stay in a hotel that isn't the standard boring modern design. I was initially worried that my room would be noisy on the first (European floor) facing the main road. With the windows shut, I could barely hear a thing. I also loved the location because it was a 15 minute walk to the center on the Rhein River and the tram station is right across from the hotel along with the commuter train line taking you directly to the airport in minutes. The location is deceptively amazing because looking at a map may lead one to believe they're not near the action, but you are. It has been a long time since I have had such a positive reaction to a hotel stay.

Fantastic cozy hotell. Breakfast amazing and our room on 3rd floor had a view over a cozy courtyard. We woke up 4 am to fantastic birdsong from the courtyard, you couldn't believe you were in the city.

Wife and I had a great weekend here and the hotel was perfect for a nice city break. Close enough to the old town and riverside to enjoy the wonderful nightlife and attractions, but far enough away (2-3 min walk) not to worry about the noise and rowdiness. Loads of public transport options right on the doorstep, it's in the middle of a nice shopping area and was the ideal hub for our stay. Staff really friendly and helpful, breakfast was lovely (violinist playing on the Saturday morning), rooms clean and comfortable. Couldn't really knock it.

Hotel Favor in Düsseldorf is a fantastic choice! It boasts the best location in the city, making it easy to explore everything on foot. The rooms are super clean and well-maintained, the breakfast is absolutely delicious with a great variety, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Quality hotel in a very nice area away from main tourist nightlife so a peaceful night sleep, but easily walkable to all the attractions within 10mins or less. Good breakfast, even had bubbly included! Minibar in the room which was complimentary and restocked daily. Rooms were comfy and clean.

Perfectly located hotel near shopping area and parc. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast buffet had large choice of sweet and salty dishes. Staff was very welcoming and helpful.

Lovely, central hotel with everything you might need or want. Superior breakfast in a bright, pleasant room overlooking the square. All staff were friendly and helpful. I will certainly stay again. It's an easy, <20min walk from the train (there's also a bus available) and nice stroll to the aldtstadt and river promenade. Many, many shopping and strolling and eating places nearby. Enjoyably active but not loud. Hotel was so quiet and the room was perfectly dark :)

This has a very boutique feel with the decor. We had a king room with kitchenette which included a small table and 2 chairs. I would definitely opt for this size room (L). Our friends had the smaller room and was tight on space. Our room had a separate toilet room to the shower and sink which is nice. We were there for Euros 2024 and was so much fun to come back to the hotel lobby bar at night - have a night cap and meet people from all over Europe staying at the hotel. We did not opt for the breakfast, but looked to be a decent spread of meats and cheeses etc. There’s no restaurant onsite but they have a few snacks you can purchase at the desk or in the kitchen. We brought in takeout Chinese food one night and sat at the tables in the lobby to eat. They even brought us plates and cutlery. The hotel has a few restaurants near by (pizza, Italian, Chinese, Mexican and Frankenheim which has traditional German food and had the Euro games on tv), and a great coffee place across the street (Copenhagen Coffee Lab). There’s a couple breakfast places close by. There is also a coin laundry across the street. It’s close to local train and bus stops and a short walk (15-20 minutes) into the old town where there are so many restaurants, pubs and shops! Really enjoyed our stay.

Delighted with our stay in this hotel - it actually exceeded my expectations! Staff were friendly without exception and seemed to enjoy working there. Breakfast buffet was brilliant with a wide selection. Beds were comfortable and there were helpful little details, such as a fridge, hairdryer and safe in the room. Found location convenient for getting to and from the main station area and the S-Bahn station and bus stop is right nearby. A very comfortable hotel.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. It was very clean and quiet. The staff were very friendly. Initially, we were given a room with a view of another building, which disappointed our 8-year-old son. However, when we requested a better view, the staff kindly moved us to a lovely room with a stunning 180-degree view of the city. A lady at the reception, whose name I can't recall, was especially helpful in ensuring our stay was enjoyable.

Our two-day stay may not have been extravagant, but it was truly convincing and enjoyable. The warm welcome and consistently friendly, helpful team created an inviting atmosphere from the start. The hotel's central location added convenience, while the quiet, comfortable room provided the perfect space to relax. Overall, it was a solid choice that genuinely won us over.

The room was more spacious than expected and well-designed. The twin room layout was practical, providing good separation between the beds. Beds and pillows were comfortable, and the linens were clean and fresh. The shower was very good, and the blackout blinds were also very nice to have for sleeping. The staff were polite and helpful. I had a positive experience and would definitely stay here again.

A few minutes walk to central station. Markets, shops, restaurants around. Comfy bed, clean and silent room. Good enough breakfast, delicious coffee.

One of my favorite hotels in Dusseldorf. Very romantic and cozy, in the heart of the city. Big, stylish and comfortable rooms. Very nice spacious bathroom. Very friendly and kind stuff. In the morning we overslept and there was negative vibrations from the stuff‘s side because we couldn’t leave our room on time. Great and completely full minibar. Simply love this hotel!!!

Beautiful, stylish, comfortable and super clean hotel. Our room was fantastic, the bed is really comfortable, and the bathroom is great too! The breakfast is really good and the staff is super kind and helpful. I left my earrings there and they took care of sending back to me! I would definitely go there again, highly recommended

The « stage » is set! I am so happy we booked this gem. Stylish and spacious rooms paying tribute to various German artists. Staff was most helpful with attractions, restaurants and directions. Breakfast was delicious and abundant- top notch all around and will definitely return. Marco

I booked two nights in Villa Achenbach and found the hotel clean and comfortable. It is located on a leafy suburban street lined with old villas, a peaceful retreat with it's own garden. It's a short hop in/out of town by tram or bus. There are coffee shops, markets & restaurants within a short walk. The decor was amusing, I think the Interior Designer was going for a Gentleman's Club vibe, but I kept expecting Harry Potter to appear, it felt as if we'd walked into Hogwarts (a great selling point if you are a Harry Potter fan!) One thing I think would improve the quality of one's stay would be if even a simple Continental breakfast were included (the rooms are $$$). On my last morning I asked if I could get a cup of coffee and I was given directions to a nearby coffee shop (in the pouring rain). Even a coffee machine in the sumptuous haunted library would be nice. That said, the bed was comfortable and had deliciously crisp white sheets and the rooms were clean.

I had a wonderful stay at Villa Achenbach in Düsseldorf. The hotel is charming, beautifully decorated, and has a very cozy atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and my room was spotless and comfortable. One of the highlights for me was the lovely, well-kept garden – a perfect place to relax. The background music was also really nice and created a very pleasant mood. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with plenty of choice. The location is quiet yet still close to the city center. I would definitely recommend Villa Achenbach and would be happy to return!

Hotel Villa Achenbach I had a brief one night stay here in June 2025 in a deluxe room 35 on the second floor. This was spacious, with a little balcony with seating overlooking the hotel gardens. The hotel is in a Victorian building and is quite small, with original features and an attractive lobby lounge area leading into the hotel restaurant. The bedroom had air conditioning and a nice bathroom with a walk in shower. I measured the WiFi at a quite racy 89 Mbps download and 33 Mbps upload. The staff that I encountered were friendly and helpful. The hotel is slightly out of the centre of town in a peaceful residential area.

Great place to stay when visiting the area. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were given free public transport passes when we were not expecting which were a total bonus. The tram stop is 5 mins walk and the main trainline to the airport just two stops down. We also took the train to Cologne fro the day which was a doddle. It was cold and grey whilst we were their but the hotel was lovely and warm with a very comfortable room, superb bed and modern clean bathroom with a very good hot shower. If I had to nit pick....could do with some English TV and if you are a breakfast monster (I'm not) there might not be enough choice for you. Also there was no kettle in the room.

A fab and comfortable hotel with great staff. The location is great. We were given a free travel card to cover public transport costs during our stay which was a great unexpected bonus. You can get to the centre of the city on the tram very quickly. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only note is that we hadn’t realised that having coffee brought to the room had a cost (no coffee in the room) but the coffee was delicious so we didn’t mind!
