The hosts were exceptionally welcoming. They have an excellent restaurant.

What we liked: Rooms: stylish, modern, and spacious. High-quality toiletries, coffee and tea available, free minibar including snacks. Breakfast: medium-sized buffet with a good selection, additional options available. Dinner: Osteria Due recommended. Upscale Italian restaurant, stylish interior, good food. Strangely, the online reservation platform always showed that it was fully booked. We inquired at the hotel and there was availability. What we liked in part: Rooftop bar: few seats, strange arrangement of tables along a wall. Food and drinks were good. Service on the rooftop was good, but a bit formal. Spa: beautiful view including outdoor pool, too small for the number of guests. Loungers often all occupied. Location: quiet in the middle of a villa district. Walking distance to most attractions is longer than expected, which is why we mostly took a taxi to the center. Bus station is not close to the hotel. Hotel not ideal for sightseeing. What is not acceptable: Our credit card was charged Euro 300 per day at check-in, even though we had already paid for the room in advance and had no restaurant reservations. Providing a credit card as security is ok, but charging Euro 900 preventively for three nights (which is then only refunded a few days after departure) is simply not acceptable. Conclusion: Overall, a good stay with some drawbacks. For a city break, I would choose a hotel closer to the center next time.

We recently stayed at Le Fontenay Hotel in Hamburg from Friday to Sunday, and it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Everything was perfect: the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was immaculate and modern, providing a comfortable retreat after exploring the city. The hotel’s restaurant was exceptional, with delicious food and top-notch service that exceeded our expectations. The hotel’s location is ideal—just a 10-minute walk from the city center, offering a peaceful environment with beautiful views over the lake. The on-site spa at the top of the hotel was another highlight, providing a relaxing escape with stunning views. Overall, we couldn’t find a single fault during our stay. We are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommend Le Fontenay Hotel for an unforgettable experience in Hamburg!

-- The staff is incredibly accommodating, helpful and friendly! -- We had booked the Deluxe Room which felt somewhat small for a week long stay. It is definitely worth it to pay extra for the view towards the Alster. -- We had the opportunity to stay for 2 nights in the Executive Suite which was super comfortable and provided an amazing experience! When we come again, we will book the Suite instead of the room. --The hotel is very serene and beautifully located along the Alster which allowed for evening strolls and a very relaxing stay. -- Everything is kept in immaculate condition! The hotel is a 'feast for the eyes'! -- The Parkview restaurant offers a business lunch option and an interesting dinner selection. -- We had booked out stay with breakfast. The buffet offered a great selection in addition to items that could be ordered from a menu as well.

Great location and only a 30 minute walk into the city centre, where great Christmas Markets were located. Twinkling lights everywhere. The Hotel is in a lovely area with great open spaces and very quiet indeed. Hotel is luxurious indeed. Nicely laid out and some great views from the roof top bar and restaurants too. Breakfast was calm and relaxed and great choices of food from the buffet and or menu too with attentive service. Service was superb and all staff genuinely interested in you

The Fonteney in Hamburg is a luxurious lakeside gem around Lake Alster. From the rooftop terrace with stunning views to the comfortable rooms with high-quality amenities (their personal products, also found in their spa - smelled so good), every detail was well thought of. I enjoyed a refreshing run around the charming Alster directly from the hotel’s garden café. The sauna’s floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking skyline views at sunset, and the breakfast spread was the best I’ve had in Europe. The Fonteney beautifully combines top-tier luxury with a natural, serene ambiance.

Not only is the hotel beautiful and in a fantastic location. The sincere friendlyness and helpfulness of the entire staff at the Vier Jahreszeiten puts many other so called 5* Hotels to shame. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, again the staff extremely friendly and efficient. Dinner in the formal magnificent Grill Restaurant was delicious again with superb staff. I was pleasantly surprised at the rates charged for massages in the health club. Keep up the excellent work Thank you for a marvellous and lavish time

Legendary Hamburg icon with excellent facilities and staff. Food offerings were varied and delicious; the spa was lovely, and the bars were lively, although drinks were pretty pricey. Entering this hotel is like taking a step back in time, but with modern conveniences. The elevator is small but beautiful and even contains a chair. The room was quiet and service was fantastic. The hotel is 3 minutes walk from the subway or the centre of the city with beautiful views. Highly recommend!

A hotel with a wonderful interior and great restaurants. Here you will get the best and most professional service from the staff that one can imagine. This is luxury on a high level, without feeling it’s beeing too much and forced on you. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and the interiors are both classic and modern at the same time. This hotel has all the grand elegance one would expect for such a property- exquisite decorating combining elements of earlier times with new and modern. The breakfast room is proof that traditional surroundings can acquire some "snap" incorporation of modern art. The atmosphere was further enhanced by excellent and helpful staff making this prime location perfect for a Hamburg stay.

The room was really clean, but really small. Since I wanted a room with lake view with the same money for one with mountain view, I could afford only a small single room with lake view. So, the room size was definitely not spacious. When I opened the door, there were a small bottle of complimentary wine, one dish of fruits, and one bottle of water, which were refilled everyday. The elevator just looked like a well decorated room, as same as you can see in other Fairmont hotels: the elevator door was just ordinary house door with windows (instead of invisable usual elevator doors) One thing bad about the hotel was that it was under the construction making the pedestrian road blocked, so guests had to walk on the road. Overall, I liked the hotel, and staying for 6 nights at the hotel was pretty good.

It is situated in a really nice residential neighborhood, lots of cool bars all around, but still quiet. The room for the three of us was spacious and everything was super clean. Beds were very comfortable. The breakfast is really outstanding. Two of us are vegan and we had our coffee with oatmilk and they made us a plate of vegan coldcuts and cheeses. We arrived around noon and the receptionist made sure that we could already get into our room. Never experienced that before. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating.

Very comfortable family room with 2 double beds which was hard to find in Europe (most family rooms have a sofa bed or bunk beds) Hotel was on a quiet street even though it was a short walk away from Reeperbahn. Easily accessible by bus from the train station. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also fabulous - and included eggs to order. They offered us a complimentary drink in lieu of housekeeping which we opted for - and I had the best wine from Beaumont Family Wines - wines that they exclusively import to Germany, in their cozy dining area. The gentleman at the front desk whose name I now forget, suggested an Italian restaurant Giovanni right opposite the hotel, which was one of the best meals we had on our 21 day trip! Highly recommend. Absolutely delightful stay and I wish I could have stayed longer.

Cozy, small, clean hotel with friendly staff. U-Bahn station nearby; 20 minutes to walk to Messe or Landungsbrucke. Great breakfast from buffet and menu! Air conditioned rooms with coffee machine and complimentary water. Good WiFi!

I enjoyed a lot of staying here. Everything was perfect. Staff is very friendly, breakfast is good, place is very clean, cozy and nice. It’s a quiet street and windows don’t let noise in. There is also air condition in the room. I llike soft matress and I get soft topmatress when I said the matress was for me too hard. When I’m in Hamburg next time I hope I can stay here again!

Luxurious place, wow reaction. Starting from helping me carry the luggage up the stairs with a smile through the reception that were welcoming to the wonderful room (called it petit but was spacious) the bed sheets, free perfume, skin care and soaps and the free minibar. Not to talk about breakfast which was delicious and varied and to the spot with quality and taste. Wonderful service and great way to start the morning. The water bottle suggested at checkout. Just wonderful. Highly recommended!

This is one of the most incredible hotels I ever stayed at. The level of detail, the design, the service are second to none. I have stayed in a lot of hotels also internationally and Tortue is placed in the top league of the best hotels in the world. I have now a mist favourite place in Hamburg. Also a great place to visit for breakfast, lunch and, dinner. Not to forget the roof top bar. The location is great and easy to reach (I came by S Bahn from the airport and left by bus). This is a place where you can invite business partners and make this your home. I like the approach to breakfast. Small dishes which you can taste, just like a breakfast tasting menue. Very well thought through.

The whole building and deco are beautiful. The area is central and plenty of shops, bars, restaurants. The staff is always helpful and polite. Rooms are comfortable and so is the bed. Temperature in the room can be controlled and I didn’t hear any disturbances during the night

The property was beautiful and full of charm on the outside, with a decent amount of on site parking. The reception/bar/restaurant area down stairs is stunningly decorated, and very open and welcoming. We stayed in room 31, up on the second floor, and it was wonderful. The room was large and spacious, with an extremely comfortable extra large double bed. The decor in the room was simple, elegant and cosy. The en-suite was spacious with a large walk in shower (no bath) and, again, was very aesthetically pleasing. The hotel is located in a residential area, and so was relatively quiet, making for a peaceful nights sleep (there is a church nearby that does chime every so often, but that added to the charm, for me). The staff were also very friendly.

This is one of my favourite hotels in Hamburg and I have stayed multiple times. Especially in the cold season this is a true retreat, cosy and warm, the fireplace and the inviting sofas in the bar/restaurant (if you get a space...), but also the warm and comfortable furnishing in the room. It is a true home from home. And the staff is - most of them - wonderful, caring and welcoming.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Hamburg. The rooms were cozy, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, making it easy to relax after a long day. The location is perfect, right near the train station, so getting around the city was super convenient.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and it never disappoints. It is very close to a station and easy to get into central Hamburg. The breakfasts are excellent and a real bonus. There are several supermarkets very close to the hotel so easy to get what you need. The shower is amazing. The staff are very helpful and professional. Lots of pamphlets available for things to do.

Everything was perfect! Comfy beds, clean rooms, freshly renovated interiors, exquisite breakfast (glutenfree and vegan options); there was even a parking lot for hotel guests! This will be our home whenever we visit Hamburg. Thank you to everyone involved for making our stay so lovely :)

I found and booked my room at this hotel by accident, and it turned out to be great. The hotel location is easily reachable by both bus and metro. There is a penny supermarket nearby. The hotel does not have a restaurant which was not a problem for me, but there are not that many restaurants nearby as well. So, think ahead about arranging your lunch and dinner. The hotel bar was nice. The breakfast was good. The hotel's atmosphere was very nice, showing its previous function as a school.

We've been welcomed by a friendly receptionist. Really lovely to see as hotels seem to have lost caring, interested staff. He welcomed our dog, offered bowls and if I remember correctly a bed but we had everything so didn't use it. The room. Was spacious and a big bathroom with actual space which we appreciated! One night we had dinner and it was lovely as well. The location is perfect and very walkable but also well connected with public transportation.

The hotel is in a quiet location, and it is easily accessible to various transportation options. You can easily reach the hotel by taking one train line directly from the airport. There is a lovely cafe right over the street from the hotel. The hotel room was clean, and if you need, you may access a minibar with different drinks (alcoholic/non-alcoholic) and snacks. Breakfast is a classic continental breakfast (pancakes were the best). In other words, everything is kept simple.

The registration at the reception went very smoothly, efficient and welcoming. The room was superb, bedroom for my daughter and her student daughter and smaller separate bedroom for me with communal lounge, ideal for togetherness as well as privacy when needed. Cleanliness excellent and staff service great. Breakfast was absolutely fabulous, Food fresh, choice of hot and cold dishes vary varied and delicious. Service by staff excellent and friendly morning smiles much appreciated!

We had a corner room with a small kitchen on the 5th floor, bathroom was modern and clean, plenty of space to place our luggages. A few minutes walk to the nearest train station, walking distance to many landmarks, excellent location. Breakfast was also excellent, a lot of choices, freshly prepared, hotel and restaurant staffs are all very attentive and nice.

The room was beautiful with well-equipped kitchenette, perfect for our needs. Bed very comfortable, nice view of the Michaeliskirche from our window. Great walk-in shower in an ample sized bathroom. The hotel is very well-appointed for all the attractions at the harbour and U-Bahn stop (Baumwall) a two minute walk away which makes access to main station very easy. We were extremely happy with the Madison Hotel.

We were given a warm welcome on arrival and given helpful hints on where to go and how to get about in Hamburg. All front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment did not disappoint, it is as good as it appears on the website and photos . It was very clean, smart, stylish and extremely well equipped. A welcome breakfast bag and tea/coffee supplies were also supplied. The accommodation was ideal , it allowed us to self cater as well as eat out. After a long day of sightseeing it was good to have somewhere spacious and comfortable to relax. Air con and wifi both efficient. The beds were comfy , bathrooms had large walk in showers and every amenity you could need is available. ( Washing machine a bonus ) The location is excellent, close to shopping, sightseeing, main station and many restaurants and cafes. This was our first trip to Hamburg, it won’t be the last.

Perfect location, close to trains and buses as well as restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Despite the central location, the place was calm and quiet. Clean rooms with air-condition. Comfortable beds as well as the sofa bed, all five of us were happy. Large bathroom with a lovely shower. The kitchen space was well equipped and even had a little washing machine. Last but not least - super friendly and attentive staff, we felt so well taken cared of! Free tea and coffee was available at the reception. I would definitely consider staying here again.

We stayed at this Suites last year but only got to review on TA now. We had a very warm welcome by Glen at the reception who is ever so friendly and helpful in giving us advice. It was our first time in Hamburg and didn't have much expectation. His suggestions just came on time and were perfect. The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. The shower is powerful! The location is only few mins walk from the Central Station. Take S1 and you will arrive at the airport in 30 mins, and the harbour is 10 mins on the train. There are two supermarkets nearby (Edeka).

The apartment was fantastic, modern clean and comfortable. It is very centrally located, five minutes from the central station and minutes walk from everything you need. It was comfortable enough for three adults and we really enjoyed using the space. The staff were super friendly and helpful and available if needed. This place is so clean!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in this very stylish city apartment, quite spacious and immaculately clean, freshly renovated and tastefully decorated. Perfect for sleeping with a large, super comfortable bed; so quiet with excellent soundproofing and blockout blind. We appreciated the coffee pod machine, microwave/oven, washer/dryer and the access to supplies of pods, tea bags, laundry tablets etc. The location is excellent - an easy short walk to the Hauptbahnhof and a great base for sightseeing walks around Altstadt, Neustadt, , the waterfront, the lakes, St Georg. Supermarket is quite close and dining options in the street or over in St Georg (multi-cultural restaurants in abundance). Overall, a superb place to stay in this cool & interesting city.

The view of the Harbour from the apartment was spectacular! It was one of the reasons for choosing this location. I liked the neighbourhood, which isn’t in the centre of town but an area with traditional bars, and smart modern restaurants and bars offering all types of cuisine. There is a pathway behind the property which leads to higher level neighbourhood and a nearby park which has spectacular views of the harbour and docks area. The apartment had a large reception area with check-in (only open until 5pm) and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was spacious and modern, the bathroom has a large bath and separate shower. There is a kitchenette and dining table and a spacious living room with desk. Plenty of space for two and an ideal workspace if required.

We did not want a city-centre location, but valued more highly a good view of shipping on the River Elbe in a less busy location. This is exactly what Clipper Boardinghouse provided. Our spacious, comfortable, clean and very well-equipped apartment had the river view we had requested. The reception staff were delightful and helpful, and the whole development was very well-designed, maintained and safe - as was the surrounding area.

Amazing apartment/room. The room I booked was not available so they upgraded me to a 5th floor corner apartment, The views are unbeatable. I suggest anon booking request room 502! AMAZING! Beautiful location, perfect apartment everything you need close to many great restaurants and shopping. Hotel staff was very helpful and pleasant. 1 minor complaint is the lack of parking for all guests. One of the best places we have ever stayed, best value for your money! Very unique TV system in a wall that retracts, TV flips so that you can watch in LR or BR. Kitchen fully stocked with even a dishwasher. Could live here easily!

Ruby wedding celebrated here and staff were superb! Got upgraded to very nice corner room with views of river Elbe and a celebratory bottle of fizz. Nice touches! Hotel is easy to get to by S-Bahn from airport with no changes of train required. (Konigstrasse station for the hotel - 10 minutes easy walk). Very modern apart-hotel with lovely spacious and quiet rooms. Good restaurants and a good grocery shop close by with all the luxuries you require. If you want nightlife the Reeperbahn is just a few minutes away (1 stop towards town on S-Bahn)

The apartment is extremely spacious and comfortable! The location is very nice next to the Elba river with ships travelling 100 m away from the hotel. The breakfast is very convenient in the bar in the lobby (even if the bar is not part of the hotel) !

The hotel was modern, immaculately clean and beautifully situated. It was such a peaceful and relaxing stay with nice facilities and breakfast was healthy and good qualify, service and staff were very accommodating and friendly. I had a comfort room overlooking the river and it was so lovely to see the birds and the landscape.

The wiev from the French balkon in the room and the evening bar. IT has a perfect wiev of the elbe and a very cosy interior. It is possible to eat a well prepared dinner, from a very small menu.

In general the hotel was excellent, the rooms were beautiful, large and the staff were very accommodating. We were a large family who had booked about 7/8 rooms in total for a family wedding nearby and this hotel was in the perfect location. The bar staff were friendly whenever we wanted to pop down for a quick drink and the reception staff were always on hand to help. It took a little while to arrange small things like breakfast but in the grand scheme of things we enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay again.

This Hotel is definitely 5 star. We stayed here for two nights over the weekend. Check in was swift and lots of useful information provided plus a recommendation for dinner at a local Italian which has an excellent wine list and superb food. The breakfast was one of the best I've had and an excellent range of options plus various cooked dishes on request. The ginger shot was fiery which pleased me as frequently ginger can be lacking in intensity. The room was very comfortable, spotless with a good sized bathroom. Shower pressure excellent. Occitane toiletries. The only let down was the hairdryer, short coiled lead and you had to keep your finger on the button to keep it operational. Thank you for the amazing birthday cake and note which was awaiting our return on my husband's birthday. Sehr lecker und so schön. The hotel is well located. Bar good. All staff we met were extremely helpful and friendly. Would return and definitely will recommend.

The Atlantic in Hamburg is a stylish, traditional hotel, in a lovely location. The lobby is wonderful. Pleasant staff, especially the bar and restaurant. Lovely cocktails, timeless decor and easy chairs exude an old world charm. Breakfast is expensive, but wonderful, overlooking the lake. The dining room is also excellent where I had lunch and dinner. Perfect food and fine wines. The hotel is airy, replete with lots of amazing features, like the art, marble stairs, windows, features on the banisters etc. The tiled image of Kaiser Wilhelm above the fireplace is really exceptional - less so the james bond theme in the men's room, which is dated and kitsch. Upstairs the public space is magnificent but my room was pokey and disappinting, the beds old, the furniture tired and unsuitable for such a graceful old lady. The carpets need replacement urgently. The meeting facilities looked excellent. Overall the city of Hamburg is a delight: this hotel excites and amazes the guest and yet, at the same time, disappoints on minor things that would be easy to fix. Overall I would recommend this property, the location, staff and history win the day. Message for the owners - for a 2 night stay costing €1500+, some investment is needed to make it truly exceptional. 8/10 for me

In a world in which superb service is harder and harder to come by, the Hotel Atlantic provided an exceptional stay for my husband, my friends, and me. From the moment we arrived until our departure, every aspect of the hotel exceeded our expectations. I would single out Jonas for his helpful guidance when checking us in, the housekeeping staff for keeping our rooms in superb order for our entire visit, and both Kusteri and Mohammed in the breakfast room for their gracious, attentive service. Every single member of staff was helpful and intent on making our stay a special one. I understand the rooms will be updated soon. They are already spacious and comfortable. Whenever I return to Hamburg, it is the only hotel I will consider.

A wonderful hotel in a great location on the river Alster, only minutes from the train station and for us in walking distance to all attractions. St George district is just around the corner with nice Cafes and Restaurants. Our room facing the courtyard was very comfortable, comfortable bed and seating and a very nice shower. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed a great room service breakfast that had everything on.

*Spacious bright room with park view, pleasant and comfortable, even if a bit dated look. Large beautiful bathroom. *Very nice spa facilities that allow even very small children (6 months old) at certain times. Overall, child friendly, crib was already in the room. *Dogs allowed, good bowls provided, as well as a dog basket although it was not comfortable for a dog to sleep in. *Good location right next to the train station, not far from parks and the lake, perfect for a leisure trip. *Mostly helpful friendly staff. *Multiple restaurants inside the hotel but do book in advance, we did not get a table so had to get a delivery (it was a very cold winter night and we didn’t want to go out with a small child and a dog)

This is a beautiful hotel with some lovely restaurants (albeit expensive) in a very nice area. Walking distance around 15 minutes to the main area of the city. Staff at the front desk were helpful but the checkin person was slightly abrupt/not very smiley! The room was very nice only downsides were the TV had only a few English channels and these were news, the options to use your own TV accounts were helpful but the connection was really slow and programs kept buffering which was frustrating. No kettle or coffee machine in the room was really disappointing for a 5 star hotel, seems to be a way of forcing you to order room service which was extremely expensive. Buffet breakfast was good, very busy on the weekend but still received good service. The spa was lovely, enjoyed a very good massage and the pool facilities, pool was extremely busy with lots of young children on the Friday afternoon which wasn’t very enjoyable, other times it was nice and peaceful. Be warned the sauna area is no clothes!!! Overall a lovely stay just a few points to improve on.

Big and luxurious hotel which offers a wellness center and several good restaurants. Especially the steakhouse restaurant was impressive. I love steak and rarely the steaks in a restaurant are better then at home, this was one of those occasions. They own a special oven that goes up to 800 Celsius to create a perfect crust. I went to conference and the hotel was close by. It’s located near everything central in Hamburg. The valet service is comprehensive and front of house staff are very attentive in regards to taking care of taxis and welcoming you to the hotel. Check in staff are all friendly and fun. The rooms are very European and basic styling but they are generously proportioned and well cleaned. In fact, the cleanliness was very high. This is a good hotel, it won’t disappoint.

Amazing location, very close to the harbour and within easy walking distance of the city centre and the Alster lake. Really luxurious accommodation, warm and very comfortable. Amazing views from my top floor studio, which even had a large roof terrace.

Comfortable and stylish!!!! Everything you would expect for a self catering unit. This was like home away from home 🏡 . Very friendly and helpful staff. The unit is 100m from the Elbe river where you can get the hop on hop off busses and do a river cruise. Next to the famous St Michel church.

It’s an excellent hotel, with beautifully decorated rooms and high-end equipment. Central venue, with lots of restaurants down the street, river bank and Elbphilharmonie in a ten-minute walk. We’ve been staying for the second time in this hotel and will return when again in Hamburg. Highly recommended.

QR code provided to enter building wasn’t working, wasn’t clear how I could get in to start check in process. Eventually figured out (touch screen on the side to contact security). Other than that, the property was excellent. Clean apartment, friendly and helpful staff.

This Clipper Boarding House in Hamburg is a great location near dining options, we loved the room(s) and multiple bathrooms. It was so pretty. Clean, and upgraded. It was walkable from the metro.

The Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was super clean, the bed was very comfortable and a nice addition was the free coffee and tea in the room. The breakfast was tasty and had a good variety. The restaurant has a very good menu and the food was very tasty. The hotel is close to the S Bahn Station Wellingsbuettel and also close to the Alsterwanderweg.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, on our first night they helped us order food as it was late. Very helpful - VERY nice! Room was comfortable with a nice TV and lighting. Shower was Great. Complimentary coffee was good quality. Very nice room.

Everything! The staff were super friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. Our room was perfectly laid out and clean and perfectly appointed. Loved the windows to the street. It was warm and cozy when we wanted and nice and cool when we needed it to be. One of the best rooms I’ve ever slept in. The bed was amazing! Live the location as it wasn’t in the hustle and bustle of downtown. The train station is right outside the front door so not is easy to get anywhere you want. No parking lot but there is street side parking all over the place. If we return to Hamburg, we will be staying at Clouneys!

Clouny's Boutique Hotel was AMAZING !! It was so new- the cab driver didn't know that it now was also a Hotel, knowing it only as a Restaurant. I was very very late arriving - and the night staff were there to greet me. I quickly retired to the room to let the staff rest. When I came down the following morning, I found the WIFI Password on the table at the front of the house. I went through, had a lovely breakfast, and an excellent coffee. I didn't try the evening meal - but will make sure I do next time. !! Super A *****

Everything was just perfect. The hotel is super comfortable and modern. The rooms are very cosy and quiet. The location is ideal, because you are close to the airport and you can go directly into the city centre and the staff make you feel like you are family ! We will definitely come back as soon as possible .

The room was spacious, very clean and updated, bed super comfy really nice was to have this mini kitchen was really useful for make breakfast. Bathroom nice and comfy as well, enough place to put your stuff. Location in the hear of St.Pauli district, but not in crouded and noisy area, metro close, and basically good conection with the center. Staff was friendly and helpful as we came in rainy day, they give us room and did not needed to wait till check in time.

We stayed for the weekend, the location was really central, close to Reeperbahn station but we luckily had no issues with noise. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and modern. It had a small kitchenette with microwave, hot plate and coffee machine, useful if you want to prepare your own meals. Overall a great no fuss accommodation would happily stay again.

Fantastic location just Metres from the SBahn making it easy to get around. The S1 will get you from the airport to the Apartment in 35 minutes and you can get into the city centre within minutes also. If you want the night life then you are seconds away from the Reepeebahn and just a few minutes walk from the river for boat trips etc. The apartments were warm, clean, comfortable, modern and you are far enough from the end of the Reepeebahn not to be disturbed by any noise. We went for the Christmas markets this year and will definitely be going again next year and once again using Boarding House St Pauli. Great friendly staff always happy to help. You won't be disappointed!!

Very comfortable bed and room. Spacious and clean. Very friendly reception and central location. We stayed a weekend and had a reallly nice stay here. We were able to get into the center very quickly and the room contained everything needed.

We loved the location! It's very convenient, with the subway and buses just steps away, and we were able to walk to countless spots. The staff made our stay even better—they were so helpful, attentive, and kind. Our room was absolutely spotless, with a very well-equipped kitchen. Housekeeping with changing bed linens is every week. Plus they offer bicycles for rent.

I have stayed here on 3 occasions. I come back because it's an elegant, welcoming, friendly and relaxed stay. Rooms are stylishly furnished, spacious with comfortable beds and excellent shower in spotless bathroom. Breakfast was tasty with a wide variety served buffet style. The staff is always helpful but , on this occasion, exceptionally so. I stayed for four nights but on the third day a problem developed with the lift and it was out of action for a few days. As I was on the fourth floor, this presented problems. Stairs, particularly four flights of them, are not easy for me. When I said this to the lady at reception, she was very helpful and secured me a room on the first floor. This was kind and much appreciated. It struck me that If every hotel I stayed in had a lady as charming, friendly, helpful and efficient as the one I met here, it would be hard to choose where to stat. For Hamburg, it's definitely here.

The hotel is located in the center of the city. It is very easy to reach the Rathaus building and shopping streets within walking distance. Due to its location, it is in a safe area that allows easy access at late hours as well. I stayed knowing that there was a construction work in front of the hotel, but I was not disturbed at all. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. (Although I don't know their names) I would like to sincerely thank the gentleman and lady who assisted me during check-in and check-out. The room was spacious, airy, and comfortably designed. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I did not have breakfast, so I have no opinion on that. However, I think it might be better if breakfast was directly included in the price, as it feels a bit high. Still, I have no regrets. If I visit Hamburg again, I would definitely stay here and I recommend it.

Lovely, stylish quirky hotel with real character. I can see some reviewers think it tries too hard - but rather that than not at all! Excellent location within short walking distance of all main sights, shops, and amenities. Spotless, comfy rooms and beds, with fluffy pillows. Stylish retro look coffee maker and phone, tourist tip cards, water, and evening salad included in room rate. Hot specials can be included for a flat rate. Powerful walk in shower with piping hot water and chic tiling and luxurious vegan toiletries with suggested shower song list. Gym, spa, laundry and kitchen. Reception team was young, eager, and utterly wonderful. There’s even a tuck-cum-gift shop and stamps at reception. Fun and happy Hamburg vibes and good value for money. I can defo recommend Henri Hotel Hamburg and I wish I’d stayed longer because the hotel is just like the city - really fantastic. Well done team Henri!

Henri Hotels aim for elegant quirky style and branding. Lovely reclaimed building, with great tile-work, marble hallways, and brass railings. Staff were multi-lingual, professional and welcoming. Bistro and bar well equipped, fairly priced, and evening salad included in room rate with hot dish specials at a flat price. Great amenities in the hotel (muscle factory fitness room, spa, and laundry. All spotlessly clean. Amazingly central location, within short walking distance of all attractions, churches, the lake and canals. Nearly all of the centre has pedestrian stretches and its very bike friendly. For me, the Henri captured the Hamburg vibe - open, fun, and proud of its heritage. It wasn’t cheap to stay here but it was very good value. I’ll defo go return to this calm, confident but industrious city and Henri hotel.

Good central location for shops, station and markets. Friendly, helpfull staff. Very communicative. Quietish room at the front. Building work at the moment starts at 7 am (Dec-24). Aircon was gurgling all night, even when switched off. Reasonable breakfast, a bit limited. Comfortable breakfast area. Comfortable bed, room facilities were good, with old styling and fittings. Good price for central location.
