I am a runner and loved the fitness center - it was easy to 'roll out of bed' and go down to the treadmill-had a nice view of palm trees and sunrise. Loved the coffee and newspaper in the lobby plus the coffee and tea maker in the bedroom. Was nice to also enjoy breakfast - nice variety of breakfast items including delicious apple sausage; waffles ;oatmeal...and a water cooler. We liked the location of the facility -next to a walking mall, with stores and restaurants and areas to walk. Plus- an amazing Foodland is right across the street with take-out meal options. Can sit outside and eat. The rooms were super clean and the cleaning staff very helpful. Easy parking; easy in and out toward Honolulu and North Shore. Need car to stay here though - no walking options to beach or attractions, except walking in the mall. We loved this hotel though.

If you don’t need the beach front or ocean view— this is the place to be! We chose this hotel for the free breakfast and parking— and we were not disappointed in either. Breakfast staff is awesome— good assortment with some varied items each day. Parking galore. It is next to a very nice mall— from Macy’s to Claire’s— and several boutiques. Restaurants from Wendy’s, Taco Bell to Olive Garden and Cheesecake Factory and several delis, pizza places and bars. Staff was very attentive— room comfortable and quiet. With a rental car— we were able to get to anywhere we wanted — when we wanted. Hate the confines of some of the resorts.

Everything was perfect here, we spent 12 nights and loved it. The room is big enough (for 2 people), beds are comfortable, everything is clean. The breakfast is OK for American standards, but of course it is not enough compared to European standards. There should have been more fruits and vegtables and some ham & cheese. But overall we loved it. The staff is extremely nice (everybody whom we met) the hotel has a pool & gym. They offer you free coffee all day next to the reception. You can park free next to the hotel.Everything you need is just a few steps away: supermarket, restaurants, clothes shops. Kapolei is one of the best town to stay in Oahu: far enough from the noisy and touristic Waikiki, but close enough to everything especially to the highway. Ko'olina lagoon is one of the best family friendly beaches in Oahu and only 20 minutes drive away. I would choose them again anytime. Thank you very much for making our stay perfect in Oahu. Mahalo!

We came here as an alternative to a spendy, bug infested VRBO in Honolulu and the Hampton Inn did not disappoint! If you want a clean affordable place with parking and decent access to Honolulu, Waikiki area, this is a perfect location! Clean updated rooms, comfy beds, great breakfast and very friendly staff! A little further drive to popular sites, but easy, free parking is worth it! Location is within a huge mall. Lots of restaurants you can walk to after a busy day of sight seeing. Only cons were - 1. half of the washers/dryers not in service and laundry room needs better cleaning. 2. Not enough seating for breakfast at a table and the chairs in dining area need cleaning or replacement - stained.

This is a GREAT hotel right next to the Kapolei mall, and all walkable. The hotel is literally adjacent to the open air mall so easy access to all the shops, restaurants, and a movie theater. Plus close by to other stores and sites to see. Close to H-1 access. The facility is clean & modern. The service hosts are very polite and professional. The pool is nice (was kinda cold when I used it) and the breakfast is hot and adequate. The self-parking was reserved and free. Room was clean & A/C was super good. Bed was comfortable. Loved this place and will stay here again. Mahalo & God bless you!

Great staff, location and resort. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The Luau was very entertaining and the drinks and food were also very good. The resort is very nice. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and quiet. Location is the best for me, on the beach, a stone, paved beach path that leads north going pass many beach accesses, pools, bars and restaurants. Whalers village is on this path so you don't need to drive to get around the area. Lahaina is just a few miles south if you do want to drive and need access to Safeway or Walgreens as well as some great oceanside restaurants. Be sure to check with the great concierge staff about the dinner sail cruise, chocolate or pineapple tour as they are very good options.

We were extremely satisfied with all aspects of our stay. The staff member who helped us check in and out was amazing. He kindly upgraded our room and fully explained all the components included in our stay package regarding breakfast and resort fees. Super helpful! We ate at every restaurant and absolutely loved the quality of the food, service, and overall ambience of each site. Just wanted to add that we were traveling with our 9 year old with severe autism and are always viewing resorts and attractions through a disability lens. I was extremely happy with the services and options Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa provided. I had requested a disability accommodation through Costco, kindly asking for a centralized room for us to more easily return to our room to needed (for meltdowns and pull up changes) and was beyond grateful when our room was upgraded to an ocean view room as central as possible in the Atrium tower on the "first" floor. This truly made a huge difference to us. My son would wake up and sit on the balcony just smiling and watching the waves and pool (giving us a needed break lol). The breakfast buffet served bacon and yogurt everyday and fries were available at Umalu, which made our meals much easier given his limited food preferences.

We spent our anniversary at the Hyatt Regency Maui and it exceeded our expectations. As World of Hyatt members, we were upgraded to a top-floor ocean view room with Regency Club access. The room was clean, spacious, and had incredible views. Free refillable water bottles provided as well as juice (and chocolate covered strawberries and champagne for our anniversary). The resort is beautiful and well run. We enjoyed all the pools (kids would have loved the slides but we left them back home), beach access, and quiet walks along the Ka’anapali path. The fitness center was well-equipped and had great views of the ocean—one of the best we’ve seen at any resort. The Regency Club was a nice bonus with great breakfast options (including gluten free) and daytime and evening snacks. Especially loved the latte machine. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Overall, a fantastic stay—we’d gladly return.

Excellent stay at the Hyatt! We liked being at the end of the very busy Kaanapali boardwalk- still convenient to all the stores and restaurants but not in the crowds. Staff- esp valets and concierge- was extremely helpful and very friendly. Had a double queen room with partial view. The room was clean, well laid out and had lots of space and places for all of our stuff. “Partial” view of pool and the ocean was great. Glad I didn’t pay to upgrade for full view. The only “negative” of our stay was that the beach is undergoing dune restoration so the beach area is pretty small. Depending on the time of day there was not a lot, if any, room to just sit on the beach. Overall it was a great stay!

First time visiting Maui! Spent 5 wonderful nights at the Hyatt Regency Maui, and it was the perfect base for exploring Lahaina. Highlights: *Great location — easy access to restaurants, shops, and nearby attractions (especially if you have a car) *Oceanfront upgrade with stunning sunset views *Club access made mornings and mid-day snacks super convenient *Beautiful grounds with friendly animals and well-maintained landscaping *Quick valet service and consistently friendly, helpful staff *Pretty beach perfect for walks and memorable photos *Pool area was on the smaller side with close-set chairs, but seating was still easy to find

We just stayed at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort and had a wonderful experience. I told the reservation agent that it was my husband's 60th birthday and when we got to our room (oceanfront) it had been upgraded to a jacuzzi room! That was a surprise and a welcome feature to have after a long day of swimming and exploring the island. We were on the 11th floor and the lively music from Duke's downstairs was almost unnoticeable when we closed the balcony doors. Housekeeping was friendly and thorough and everything was in working order. We've been to Waikiki several times and the oceanfront view, convenient breakfast downstairs at the Hula Grill and beach right out the back of the hotel made for a perfect stay.

Our second stay at Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort and it was again a wonderful experience. Beachfront, good rooms and nice restaurants/shopping on site or nearby. Rudolph, who checked us in, was the start of our memorable experience. He is incredibly welcoming with a great sense of humor! We felt his genuine hospitality and kindness. Team members such as Rudolph help make the start of your vacation fun and optimistic. There was a young lady at the Hula Grill who could use a bit of improvement in greeting and communicating with guests. She was slumped over the check-in counter with chin on her hands each time I saw her. I believe she was the hostess (dressed in black). The first time interacting with her, I asked if our reservation request to be seated outdoor with ocean view can be accommodated. She looked at me with the “Gen Z stare” and uttered “I’ll try”. Second time, I asked to reserve seating for the buffet breakfast the following day and again with the stare, she condescendingly replied “We don’t have a buffet here.” Fortunately, the sweet lady next to her kindly interjected “The buffet is downstairs at Duke’s and it is delicious. They will be happy to make the reservation for you.” Overall, Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort is good beachfront establishment.

This is our second time, second year in a row, staying at that outrigger Waikiki Beach resort. We loved it so much. The first time we knew we wanted this to be where we stay every time we’re in Waikiki. Hands-down, this hotel has the best beachfront. It has a fun vibe, the hola Grill is delicious and have an amazing waterfront view, and although the food at Dukes isn’t anything special, it is a really fun place to have the breakfast buffet before spending the day at the beach! We always get the waterfront King room so that we have a great view of the ocean. I love to shop so it’s an amazing location for walking and shopping! The staff is very accommodating and friendly, and I love all of the shops inside the hotel! The Moana surf Rider next-door, and the Royal Hawaiian on the other side next-door, also have the good beach and our great hotels, but they are quite a bit more expensive and don’t offer anything that the outrigger doesn’t have!

There's no better location in Waikiki than the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort. Not only are you in the middle of everything, it's one of the very few hotels that is located on the sand, meaning you can walk from your room to the beach without crossing any roads. The rooms are spacious and well maintained with a traditional Hawaiian feel, although there is a renovation taking place in 2026 that will bring modern touches. The hotel boasts the best views in Waikiki from the Hula Grill restaurant and below it is the iconic Dukes. The staff are full of Aloha and attentive to detail. If you're able to afford the rooms with Voyager 47 Club Lounge access, you'll enjoy complimentary breakfast and dinner in the lounge (including a wide range of complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks) with the best views of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head, as the lounge is located next to Hula Grill. We've stayed at the hotel on six occasions and it gets better every time.

Stayed the outrigger Beach resort for five nights. Opted for the club level partial ocean view room. We stayed on the 15th floor, which had an express elevator and a terrific partial view of the ocean . From the large balcony you could hear the sounds of the ocean and smell the salt air. our favorite thing was a sit on the balcony watching the surfers The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. Lili serviced the room daily and did a wonderful job. Having the club level we had breakfast every morning, which was standard continental buffet (great coffee.!) We did the appetizer and drinks most evenings and enjoyed it. For us, it was really worth the upgrade for the club level The hotel is central to everything right on the beach and would definitely stay there again !

I spoke with front desk upon arrival and I was surprised with a complementary upgrade and I was able to check in two hours early since I had my 80 year old mother with us . Staff are very helpful, professional and friendly . The rooms are spacious and clean. The location is amazing since the shuttles stop right in front of the hotel and that was amazing having my elderly mom who can no longer walk long distances! I only wish the room would have maybe a table and two or three chairs to enjoy our dinner or enjoy coffee or breakfast inside our room , but there is only one chair for a two queen bedroom ! The rooms are very bid and has enough space to add a round table and few chairs ! But we absolutely enjoyed our stay !

Absolutely loved staying at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki! Hotel is very spacious with a lot of interesting shops and restaurants. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped with a fridge and coffee maker. Beds are quite comfortable with quality linens. The resort fee is a bit steep but you do get some perks with that--beach towels, free beach chairs, and different crafting activities. Location is fabulous--right across the street from Waikiki Beach by the statue of the Duke, and right on the main avenue. Tons of local shopping and eating all withing walking distance! One draw back--the pool is very, very small and the pool area isn't that large either--maybe 50 lounges for a hotel that holds many hundreds, but the beach is easy to access and they do provide beach chairs!

Our trip was amazing (because of a gentleman who checked us out yesterday 4/20/2025) we booked through Expedia as we always do we asked for two rooms one king bed one two queen beds. The hotel put us in two different buildings and when we asked if we could be put near each other the lady who checked us in wanted to downgrade our two queen bed rooms to the 12th from from the 35th that was ocean view and a view of diamond head. We stayed in separate buildings, with my mom and boys in that room and us in the Ewa building. The view was beautiful but not as nice as theirs. Other than that the hotel was well maintained, clean, housekeeping was excellent, breakfast buffet was amazing (even though our drinks were not free refiles on soft drinks) the location you couldn't beat but the gentleman at the end made up for the room issue! Thank you to a excellent trip.

Amazing hotel and great staff who provide excellent customer service. The location was perfect and the views were spectacular. Not to mention very clean and super organized! Special shoutout to the cleaning staff who were always so kind and did an amazing job and the receptionists were superb! So many amazing amenities and activities to make your stay even more fun! Staff really make the place feel comfy and cozy!

We were looking for a hotel for our family of four along Waikiki beach. We initially chose the Hyatt Regency Waikiki because of its positive reviews, location along Waikiki beach, and the fact that the rooms have queen beds, as opposed to many hotels along the beach that only had full size. In a bustling place like Waikiki, we were pleasantly surprised when we began receiving five-star service the minute we entered the property. From the valet telling us how to get to the check-in counter before we could ask, to the check-in area with friendly and kind staff, dining staff who were friendly and really good at keeping the birds away, and the prompt housekeeping services. We had been island hopping and had recently home from another large property on Big Island, and the difference in service between the two places was wild. The beach chairs to check out were a huge plus for us too! It was so nice being able to check out nice chairs to relax on the beach. I'm assuming this hotel is used to train other hotels' staff. We travel quite a bit, and have never seen that level of service in this tier of hotel. Thank you for the amazing experience! We will be back!

We stayed here for 4 nights in mid-March 2025. A high point is the lovely walk/hike along the adjacent Maha'ulepu Heritage Trail, accessible from Shipwreck Beach in front of the resort. That's a gorgeous walk. The most interesting part is when you head east along the cliffs, but walking to the west is also very nice (and much flatter). In March, if you look carefully, you can sometimes spot whales spouting, or even breaching, offshore. One day there was a massive monk seal on the beach. The hotel staff were very professional and friendly. There's a huge central atrium, and during the day, large exotic birds can be seen there. The view of the ocean is fantastic, and the time around sunrise is very popular with jetlagged folks from mainland US. Not much swimming at the beach, due to huge waves (at least when we were there) but good bodysurfing IF you're comfortable in heavy surf. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and included great fresh fruit and homemade juice shots. For dinner inside the resort, Tidepools was exorbitant and boring, while Stevenson's Library was lively and fun.

This hotel is exceptional. Upon arrival our room concerns were promptly addressed with kindness and professionalism. Steph at the front desk went above and beyond to assist us, answering our questions and ensuring our guest experience was first class. The hotel, pool and food service is simply outstanding. We had 3 rooms that were all well appointed, clean and stocked with top amenities. Our family and the kids can't stop talking about the fun they had in the pools and beach. The saltwater lagoon and water slide was their favorites. We cannot say enough great things about this hotel. The breath taking view when you walk in the hotel is enhanced by the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff who continually reinforced that they are dedicated to first class guest experience. The food service at the Hale Nalu was terrific and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We also ate at Tidepools and despite some mixed reviews we had read, our family of 11 was treated very well and had a terrific meal. We also had the daily breakfast buffet, which was one of the best we have had anywhere.

This is an amazing property (staff, location, amenities), but the food and beverage quality is sorely lacking. Overall: Every drink is at least $16. Mind you, this is a no-frills mixed drink marketed as a cocktail. I use the word "cocktail" here very loosely. I guess this is to be expected; you're on an island. Seaview Terrace: Food was served on plastic plates (unclear why; it's nowhere near the pool) and was served lukewarm. Ilima Terrace (breakfast buffet): $52 per person and everything's cold (you may start to see a pattern here). Weirdly, specialty coffees (like cappuccinos) are limited to 1 per person. Salmon Wellington was not. I guess the margin is made on the coffee? Stevenson's Library: No risk of cold food here ('cause sushi). Good quality, wholly uninspired presentation, but hey actual plates! Tidepools: Center cut steak, medium ($79 or thereabouts) served absolutely raw times two. Replated and reserved, no apologies, no comps. Also, expect to have shutters slammed shut and lights turned off during dinner if you take a late seating (8 PM in my case). I get it; you want to get home. Poolside (Hale Nalu): What you'd expect from poolside food, served in gray plastic buckets. I get the safety aspect here, but come on, a gray bucket is a gray bucket. Let me stress we enjoyed our stay. Do rent a car if you decide to visit Kauai (there's limited Ubers and Lyfts on the south shore), and eat off property if you can.

Got back a couple of weeks ago from a fantastic September week at the Grand Hyatt. The grounds are truly incredible - with views everywhere you look. The hotel has the best pool on the island, with tons of cute romantic spots and private areas for people to escape. The whole property has been meticulously maintained - with many outdoor areas, fantastic restaurants, and a fantastic 24/7 gym and spa. We loved the 1.5 hour coastal hike available right off the property, and catching sunsets and viewing the stars from all the lovely seating around. Seeing multiple seals on the beach took the cake! The entire staff was so friendly and helpful - you can tell they love making people’s vacations memorable. Special shout out to Eric who made us feel welcome from the first moment and Tin who helped us plan a lovely week! The entire Grand Club team provided fantastic service and food. We're so sad we had to leave and will absolutely be back!

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt for a week and it was truly incredible! The grounds are stunning and the hotel has the best pool on the island, without a doubt. The whole property has been designed so thoughtfully from the many outdoor areas, delicious restaurants, and a top notch gym and spa. There is a beautiful coastal hike available right off the property, and the beach is perfect for catching sunsets. We even saw a seal on our walk back from breakfast one day! The entire staff was so friendly and helpful - you can tell they love making people’s vacations memorable. Special shout out to Eric who made us feel welcome from the first moment, and the entire Grand Club team who went above and beyond to provide impeccable service. We already can’t wait to go back!

The front desk service was friendly. The room was clean with a microwave and they have a fitness room and pool and jacuzzi. The walk to the shops and the beach is close by.

We are a family of 5 adults - the 5-person room was nice & big although pullout sofa bed was not the most comfortable. The breakfast was simple but very adequate for our needs ( we had toasted bagels & coffee & some fruit). The hotel sits in the middle of a parking lot but so easy to walk to restaurants & shops & ocean that this was not a problem. The pool & hottub were very nice. We went in every day to warm up after snorkeling. Staff very pleasant.

I liked the free and discounted beach equipment rentals as well as the bikes. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Waikiki beach was only a 15 minute walk away with lots of window shopping on the way. Hotel was very clean and well kept. Restaurant downstairs had amazing food and coffee. We had a great view from our room. Plenty of chairs at the pool for everyone and had a bar at the pool as well as the restaurant downstairs. Lobby was big and had an open concept downstairs, very quiet and peaceful. Included a small fitness room, special events such as pilates at the pool on fridays, microwave, ice machine, small book rental shelf, etc. Free pool towels you could take and easily return in a bin by the pool. I honestly couldn't think of anything I diskliked.

For the price this is a great choice in Waikiki. It’s not on the beach, but the upper ocean view rooms have a pretty good view. Beautiful sunset skies. Housekeeping is a little inconsistent, but they do an OK job they provide you with the “Aloha Line“ which allows you to text for any supplies you need The pool area is lovely with a wheelchair lift down the stairs to access the area and a mobile lift available to get into the pool pool towel availability was not plentiful, but they did their best to ensure there were towels available I would think a four star hotel would have a glass glasses and coffee mugs in the room, but only paper coffee cups were provided The wheelchair accessible 16th floor suite was a really nice room. The bed was very comfortable. There was lots of space and a niceroll in shower. Service from all the staff was excellent. All very helpful and pleasant. Food and drinks at the restaurant are great. No decaf espresso, which was kind of a bummer, but they made a great London fog a little on the pricey side Great stay overall. Would’ve been perfect if it would’ve been on the water., but it also would’ve been double the price

I really enjoyed my recent stay in Waikiki at the Ambassador. The Ambassador combines mid-60s cool with a modern ambiance and is located in a convenient spot in this busy city. We were only a few minutes away from the beach and great little restaurants. Our room was spacious and relaxing and room service was polite and accommodating. Front desk was very helpful and the coffee shop had great food and coffee. Ambassador also has a pool with cabanas if the beach is too crowded. Ambassador is a great place to escape to and has a hip retro-vibe.

The rooms were modern, clean and very comfortable. The overall vibe of the hotel was modern and fresh as it looks and feels like it's recently been renovated. The staff are friendly and helpful, and for those who like slipping in/out without having to talk to people, you can access the hotel without going past the lobby. The location was perfect for us, close enough to walk to Waikiki, the beach or Ala Moana Centre but not too close that you were caught up in the noise and crowds of the main strip. There are two ABC stores within 1min walk and The Bus goes right by the hotel which is handy. We 100% will stay here again on our next visit to Honolulu.

I had a great stay at The Ambassador of Waikiki. The hotel has a fresh, modern design and a relaxed atmosphere that made me feel welcome right away. My room was clean, stylish, and very comfortable, with a balcony and a nice city view. The location is excellent — just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. The staff were kind, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. I especially enjoyed the pool area and the little details throughout the hotel that made the experience feel special. It’s a great mix of comfort, style, and convenience. I would absolutely stay here again.

Just home for a great stay here! It was a quick trip for us but we were upgraded to a garden view suite. The room was huge. Had a half bath plus full bath, separate living room and two balconies. There was also a partial view of the ocean! The room was clean, could use a little bit of updating but overall great. For being titanium elite, we received a few fun perks. One being daily chocolate from the front desk. We would go pick it up and there is a different flavor each day. I found this to be a fun little added touch! You can also select breakfast credit which can be used at either coffee place. We always did Starbucks, you get a coffee, pastry and fruit for 2 and we upgraded to a hot sandwich a couple days. Very nice for a quick option on our way to the beach. All the staff we met was great and helpful. Danny at the beach was particularly awesome! This resort is big, so there is a lot of walking but being so spread out it never felt crowded. We could always get a chair on the beach and usually there were plenty of chairs at the pool in the afternoon. We only went to the adult pool, it is wonderful and quiet. Overall, we loved this resort and we will be back!!

Overall, great place to stay with a modern Hawaiian comfortable decor. Although the website says recently renovated, the rugs & carpet could use some updating. The outdoor rug on the lenai definitely caused a tripping hazard. There should also be nightstands on the other sides of the beds. The shower was nice with an adjustable head. Towels and bedding are super comfortable. The pools are clean and well-maintained. The kids' Adventure pool is not as crazy as you'd think, maybe because it's not huge. We were generally able to find lounge chairs. I wish they'd get sturdier umbrellas because they constantly take them down with the wind. We really enjoyed the Hawaiian cultural activities with Lilinoe and Mei. They were educational and enjoyable. Sitting in the courtyard was lovely. The Grand Lenai is so pretty. The bars & restaurants are incredibly expensive, but the service and the food are great. Jhon Boy, Tim, and Aaron were great at the Sunset bar. LOVED the valet - texting them, we never had to wait for our car. They were super friendly too. The gym was nice & we did a couple classes in the morning by the ocean, which was nice. Only issue was the tsunami handling that was surprisingly disorganized. I understand it was a crisis, but their communication left a lot to be desired. Very unexpected from a Marriott property.

Our overall experience at the Wailea Beach Resort was excellent! We found our room to be clean, spacious and comfortable; ours was an oceanfront room and had a great view looking west where we could see incredible sunsets from our balcony! The hotel offers a luau that felt very authentic (the master of ceremonies and the performers seemed to take their roles with sincere care and respect, yet they definitely looked like they were having fun, which helped all in attendance enjoy the show more!). Food at the luau and restaurants at the hotel was excellent. Being at the southwestern most side of the island, the surrounding area was very quiet and pleasant, with lots of small restaurants and shops to explore. The beaches around the resort were very nice to bath in. Hotel was about 25 min drive from the airport, so not too bad. We recommend the Wailea Beach Resort for anyone staying in Maui!

Wailea Beach Resort is the perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, and aloha spirit. The property is absolutely stunning — from oceanfront pools to lush tropical landscaping, every view feels like a postcard. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel special and welcomed. Rooms are modern, clean, and super comfortable with incredible ocean views. The infinity pool and cabanas are unbeatable, and the sunset walks along the beach are magical. Everything here feels peaceful and perfectly Maui. Highly recommend!

Just what I was looking for! I’m a teacher who also just finished teaching summer school so I was looking for a quieter property that was not a kid magnet and the adult pool area provided just that! Room category paid for was partial ocean but got a beautiful ocean view! We were 3 rooms away from oceanfront. Check in was easy. Blue bracelets are way better than key cards. Plenty of pool chairs. No need to wake early to save chairs. I liked that beach wasn’t directly in front of property- made it less crowded. Beach just a short, easy, less than 5 minute walk to the left to the beautiful Wailea beach or 5 minutes to the right to smaller Ulua Beach. Best snorkeling ever at Ulua Beach. Saw hundreds of fish. Rent snorkeling equipment right on property for reasonable rate. We loved our time here. No more Grand Wailea for us. Definitely coming back here to Marriott Wailea Beach Resort.

You get what you pay for! Let me start by saying that, yes, the hotel and its restaurants are very pricey BUT they are all exquisite. Four Seasons quality all the way around for sure. Hotel is a decent size and all areas are very clean. The room was spacious, clean, and updated. Even with a partial ocean view, the balcony was amazing. Staff is super friendly and attentive to your every need. Pools are a good size and do not get overcrowded. Adults only pool is great. The beach front was great and lounge chairs were easy to find every day. Can’t say the same about neighboring resorts! The fitness center is phenomenal! Plenty of equipment and kids can play basketball and tennis. Great views everywhere! Restaurants are all high quality too. Location is perfect, secluded yet walking distance to nearby restaurants shopping area. Morning cafe is a huge plus. Best of all, nothing gets too crowded. Peaceful at night to just sit, relax and listen to the ocean.

My wife and I visited for our 5th wedding anniversary and couldn't have been more impressed. The service was fantastic as you would expect at a Four Seasons - extremely warm and attentive. The room was well furnished and spacious. The pools were not overly crowded - even the adult pool at its peak (Friday afternoon) had some open seats, and the other pools had even more room. We were able to play tennis and use the fitness equipment whenever we wanted. My wife also had a massage and facial and thought the spa was excellent. All of the restaurants are fantastic, but the breakfast buffet at La Hiki was a standout as was Mina's Fish House. I don't think I've experienced a breakfast buffet with better food or a wider variety. Also, the complimentary coffee and small pastries in the lobby starting by 6am were such a welcome treat given that my wife as still sleeping (and on that note, the coffee served throughout the hotel was delicious). And don't miss the speakeasy style bar called Five One Six with a rooftop lounge - it was so much fun. Of course it's all as pricey as can be, but it's the Four Seasons and offers an experience that is a cut above anywhere else, so I felt it was worth it for a special occasion. We plan to return with our kids in the future. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Great resort! Private beach, multiple swimming pools, water views from all angles of the resort. From the start. Valets were amazing. Friendly. Smiles. Engagement. We loved the staff uniforms. Felt like we were in paradise already. Concierge/front desk staff. Mahalo! So helpful and full of information. Ask for where the locals go if you are exploring the island is Oahu. Sunday brunch is a must. The staff squeezed us into a reservation even though there were none available. Shout out to Camron. Cameron was so helpful and genuinely cared about his job, and we felt that he wanted to be there for the guests. Activities Couples spa. A must. Spent little over an hour at the massage. The sauna had cold and hot bath. Kombucha was provided to the spa members and other beverages and so on. A StarTour show was decent. I am an amateur astronomer and they covered all the basics. Kids will love it. I believe they are utilizing 11” Celestron GoTo telescope. Bring binoculars if you have one. Adult swimming pool is peaceful. They also had staff members with a free drink cart when we were enjoying our swim. Daily Clean inside and out. Turn down service was exceptional. Small touches like cleaning clothes for the sunglasses/glasses. Welcome baskets for your special occasions. Upgrades, if available. The staff made it effortless. We hope to book another week stay soon. Mahalo!

We can not wait to return to this resort! This resort has the cleanest and most beautiful rooms. Every single person, starting at the front desk to the valet was so welcoming. When we arrived we were greeted at the front entrance desk associate . She handed us our beautiful and fresh Hawaiian leis and the little cups with lemon/ginger refresher drink to sip on while she walked us to check in. The check in process was so quick and easy. The check in associate wished me a happy birthday and offered to make our dinner reservation. She was very courteous and efficient. Our luggage was delivered as soon as we walked in to our beautiful room. The room was beautifully decorated . Breathtaking ocean views. Considering that we moved from Ko’Olina Marriott because of the size of the room, a balcony covered with dead mosquitoes and lack of the customer service and professionalism, walking to our bathroom at Four Seasons that was the size of the room at Marriot made my day. They even left a happy birthday note, little birthday cake and the cupcake . Our bed and sofa was incredibly comfortable. We loved the pillows too. They sent somebody to make the sleeping sofa ready for our daughter to sleep. The room was amazingly clean and cozy. 3-4 spacious closets. Check out process was just as easy and quick as the entire check in process. Valet associate had our rental car in the front within 5 minutes. Can’t wait to go back.

We absolutely love this resort! The views are stunning, and the service is exceptional. The pool and beach service are top-notch. They provide beach chairs, towels, iced water, and sunscreen. For an additional cost, you can also get beverages, food, daybeds, and cabanas. I highly recommend the daybed; it's incredibly comfortable. However, there are a few things that could be improved. The food at the resort is quite disappointing. I've tried every restaurant, and none of the dishes stood out—they were all bland and flavorless. Additionally, the resort is not exclusive to guests, which is frustrating. Anyone can make reservations at the restaurants, making it difficult for guests to secure dinner reservations. We stayed in a king-size oceanfront room and used the sofa bed, but the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable with a hard mattress that felt like sleeping on the floor. The room was also not cleaned properly from the previous guests. We found trash under the nightstands and in the closet, and the shower doors and mirrors were dirty. Overall, it's a beautiful place to visit, but I believe there are areas for improvement, especially considering the nightly rate they charge.

Absolutely amazing stay ! Have stayed here many times and for sure the best property on the Island and most amazing staff. Great location. Restaurant on site, two gyms and access to State of the art gym at a sister hotel.Yoga every day.Amazing convenience store beside lobby. The best thing about the property is the staff, all very professional and super helpful, from front desk to housekeeping to bell boys and car attendants.They make your stay. Managers all helpful and ready to take care of any possible issues. Engineering guys on hand with any problems with TV or air conditioning.Every one at this property makes you feel like an important guest. One block to the beach and easy to get to bars, restaurants , activities and shopping.Walking distance to All Moana mall and Diamond Head.Stayed here for 64 nights and loves every minute.We are Hilton Diamond members and stay all over the world. This is our favourite property for sure!Look forward to coming back next year. Would highly recommend to anyone who is coming to Honolulu.

Our overall experience was great. The location in central Waikiki is very convenient. As diamond members, we got a food and beverage credit everyday which we could use in every restaurant/bar and store. As they have an in house grocery store, we used the credit there every day which was very convenient. Our room was not too big but relatively modern and clean. Right across the street there’s a mall with a target and multiple other stores. The beach is only a few minutes away. The only real negative thing is the pricing of the parking. Valet parking is 55$ per day. And regular parking is 30$ per day, but with no in and out privileges, meaning everytime you take the car out it’s 30$! On the website it says regular parking is 8$, but it should state 8$ PER HOUR. All in all it was a pleasant experience. It’s not a fancy luxury hotel but therefore the prices are not too high either. Would come back.

My room was exactly like the pictures for what I booked. It was a lovely spacious room and very comfortable. The view was nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable. I enjoyed a few sleep-ins. The location is very convenient - right across from the international marketplace and a short stroll to the beach. Many tours also will pickup from this hotel which made planning my activities all the more stress-free.

Honest hotel at a great location in Waikiki beach (5 min walking). Staff were all very good. Lots of stores, and restaurants at a walking distance. Wifi was also good. Free towels available for the pool and to take to the beach were great! There's also convenience store at the first floor. We got the partial ocean view apartment and it has a nice balcony/view!

Hilton Garden Inn is close to everything- shopping, restaurants, surf shops, Target, and of course the beach. We’ve stayed here three times now because it’s very clean, has a friendly bar and simple pool on the 3rd floor, a restaurant on the main floor and a market store attached to it that stays open late. Staff is always friendly.

Our family stayed in a room with a beautiful mountain view, and it was amazing. The room was spotless and spacious, with a comfortable couch in addition to the two beds. Breakfast exceeded our expectations — we enjoyed fresh fruit, miso soup, coffee, sandwiches, vegetables, scrambled eggs, and sausages. Everything was delicious. The hotel staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful. It was so convenient to pick up beach towels, chairs, and a bodyboard for my son at the front desk before heading to the beach. The location is perfect, too — just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, the zoo, aquarium, circus, and more. Overall, Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach is a wonderful place to stay. We’d definitely recommend it!

Love this hotel! It was our second stay and we will always choose this hotel for the delicious free breakfast, the friendly and helpful staff, the convenient location and the decent rooms—clean, everything in good repair and fair size. We were lucky to be upgraded from a King City View to a two-bed Ocean View and appreciate it! The property is a bit further from the centre of the city—close to the Zoo and Diamond Head, but transit was efficient and easy. Wasn’t a fan of the dispensary in the lane below as we could smell the pot up 10 stories, nor the noise from the streets, but the Hotel is not to blame—just couldn’t enjoy the patio fully. Pool was closed for Reno’s, but we had access to a sister hotel next door’s pool and it looked much nicer anyways! We prefer the beach and appreciated that we could borrow beach stuff and towels—toys, boogie boards, chairs, etc. The Dominos Pizza in the lobby came in handy when we were exhausted and hungry!

We were pleasantly surprised with a small balcony with a little bit of an ocean view. Bed was comfy sheets were clean in the shower was hot. I like having a full length mirror in the bedroom and great lighting in the bathroom to do my makeup. We were just a short walk from the beach, our surf lessons, lots of ABC convenience stores, and there was even a Domino's Pizza on the first floor. We also walked to lots of shops and the International Market easily. We borrowed boogie boards and a beach chair which were appreciated. Breakfast was good, but not great. They had some Japanese options like kimchi and rice and miso soup, but one day the only American hot option was breakfast sandwiches. I also wish they weren't cleaning up breakfast before it actually ended. Otherwise, breakfast met expectations.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The food and bar were small but good. They had beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys you could borrow (first come first serve. The breakfast was very busy and crowded, but the staff do an amazing job keeping it clean and stocked. Breakfast options were plentiful and delicious!! The pool was closed for remodel (stayed in April so I guess the off season), but it looked decent…pretty standard. The best part was how close it was to the beach and all the restaurants and stuff to do.

Great location. Less than a 5 minute walk to Waikiki beach and the main strip. Small convenient store (ABC store) next door. Staff was very friendly. I requested early check in of 11am but did not get it. When we arrived we left our bags and Walmart order at the front desk and they kept it and delivered it all to our room when it was ready at 3pm. Room was nice, clean and fit our family of 5 comfortably. We had a nice view from our room window we could see the ocean. Our balcony faced another building but was nice to be able to get some fresh air and hang our beach items that needed to dry. The elevators did take a long time and most times when they finally did come to our floor (7th) they were too full and we would end up having to take the stairs down every day. The pool was under renovations but we were given a key to a sister hotel right next door that we never used because we preferred the beach. The free breakfast buffet was a nice option to have but was exactly that, we didn’t have high expectations for it so we were not disappointed but not impressed either. We only ate there one morning. Overall we would stay there again.

A unique property on a quiet farm with many animals, lovely view. The room was full of exquisite woodwork, hand-carved furniture, Jacuzzi, other amenities. Breakfast, brought to our room by our hostess Teresa, was ample and delicious. The location is ~5 min. drive from the tiny town of Volcano, but no problem if you have a car.

Theresa and Randy were awesome hosts. The property is located less than 5 miles from the National Park gate. We stayed in the Ohia Ranch Retreat Room which was spacious, comfortable and had fantastic views of the grounds/duck pond. The room has a heater and heated mattress pads. It also included robes and slippers, umbrellas, flashlights, coffee, tea, snack bars, bottled water, juice, snorkel gear, and a cooler. The bathroom has a beautiful open shower and Jacuzzi for two, along with a towel warmer. WiFi was good, but has rural internet - sufficient for email/browsing, but don't expect to go crazy. The hosted breakfast was just as amazing. From reading previous reviews we expected their signature papaya fruit bowl - yum. During our visit, they offered built to order breakfast sandwiches with farm-fresh duck or chicken egg, ham, turkey, cheese, English muffin. They also offered waffles, boiled eggs, cheeses, yogurts, and selection of breads. One day, Randy even made a delicious bread pudding with Irish Cream sauce to put on top. Theresa and Randy are very knowledgeable about the island(s), so if you need guidance, just ask. Livestock such as goat, sheep, chicken, and duck roam the property, so it has a gated driveway. This means you will need to get out and manually open and close/latch the gate each time you want to take your rental car in/out - just part of the charm of the ranch.

We would highly recommend this bed and breakfast. It is minutes away from the Volcano National Park and not far from other attractions like Hilo or Papakolea Green Sand Beach. My husband and I stayed in the Ohia Ranch room. The location was quiet and private with lots of animals (goats, sheep, donkey, ducks, hens, etc.). It was fun to sit out on the balcony and watch the animals (or go down and pet them). The king bed was very comfortable and had a heated blanket on it as an option. There are lots of windows for great sunshine. Every morning, Theresa would bring a delicious breakfast to the room per your request/order. There is a table/chairs in the room to eat; plus the balcony has a small table. The breakfast omelets were incredible. Theresa also has many extras in the room like beach towels, robes, slippers, picnic basket, heating rack for towels and drinks. The information book had lots of ideas of where to go along with restaurant suggestions. We found all of them incredible. She also sent detailed instructions to get there. Overall, Theresa was a warm and wonderful host who helped us with any questions and offered great suggestions.

The property is on a small ranch with goats, sheep, ducks, geese and chickens. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owners and were given an overview. It is in a quiet neighborhood only two miles from Volcano National Park entrance, so convenient for trips. The room was very clean and the kitchenette well stocked. A space heater is provided to keep it warm in those were chilly nights. The bed also had a heating pad to keep you warm and the towel warmer is a welcome feature. Breakfast is served at your room. We chose waffles one day and an omelette the next. Your omelette is made with fresh eggs of your choice, duck or chicken. Fresh papaya boats were also a part of breakfast too enjoy as well as choice of bread for toast and toppings. Fresh ground local coffee is in your room for you to brew at your leisure. We used the countertop oven to cook a lasagna we picked up for dinner due to most of the restaurants being closed on Monday.

We stayed in the Ohia Ranch suite, the one shown with the jetted bathtub, which we were advised not to use by the manager due to not enough hot water. The room, which is over the carport (convenient since it rained a lot the two nights we were there) was exactly as pictured and quite comfortable. We did hear the managers moving about upstairs, though this was not bothersome. What was, however, were the rooster(s) that wake you up starting at about 5:30-6:00am. So, it’s a fine place to stay as long as you don’t want to sleep in or bring earplugs. Breakfast was good as was the advice from the manager re hiking in the park and restaurants. It smelled bad in the entry way to our suite, but not in the room, which was very clean. They expect you to clean any cups, coffee pot, etc. that you use in the suite’s kitchenette.

Words cannot express how amazing this resort is!!! Our experience staying at the Mauna Lani was beyond excellent! The resort is absolutely gorgeous, nestled on Big Island's west side surrounded by superb views of the coast, volcanos and nearby lava rock fields. The grounds are absolutely stunning, the facilities are top notch with lots of attention to detail and the property has a nice white sand beach in a bay where lots of wildlife seem to congregate (we saw 5 sea turtles in the water one morning!). The views of the sunset here are amazing and can be seen either from the beach, walking along the walkway riding along the coast or from the beautiful pools on property. The resort is pretty remote from a lot of places, and we needed 2 1/2 hours to drive down to Volcanoes National park but being so isolated and disconnected was the best! Our room was an oceanfront room with a beautiful view looking west (sunsets here were amazing to see to!). We found the room very luxurious, roomy and clean. The fine dining restaurant Canoe House was excellent in terms of the taste & quality of the food and the service, plus the resort has a bar near the pools and a little market for buying lots of snacks and drinks. We recommend this hotel to anyone staying on Big Island!!!

This hotel is absolutely stunning ! The layout of the hotel lobby is so beautiful and tranquil, the little bamboo sanctuary area with hammocks was so unique. The rooms (we stayed on the 6th floor Mountain View) were very spacious and beautifully decorated, and the beds were so comfortable! The decks were massive and at night you could lay on the couch out there and see the stars. The entire staff, from housekeeping, pool staff, store clerks, parking attendants were friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze with a very friendly staff at the front desk. Although expensive the drinks and food were all excellent. The beach was so beautiful and tons of fish and turtles were seen while snorkeling. The pools were impeccable and refreshing. We loved our stay and will recommend it to all our friends ! 🌺

Beautiful, clean, resort. Staff were amazing, kind, helpful, happy. They all claimed that this was the most wonderful place to work! Rooms were large, comfortable, and had all the products and amenities. Restaurants were all great and easy to get in ( Canoe club hint: if you can’t get rezzie, go to the bar where full menu is served and bartenders are fun!). Loved this place! Will definitely return

I mean this is where you want to stay. The waterslides and pool areas…. Walkable to many restaurants and right on the beach. Every view is beautiful, spacious patios, clean and comfortable and safe for a mom traveling alone with her three kids.

Clean room, staff was attentive and friendly, location is perfect. You have two pools and the beach. Very walkable towards surrounding shops and restaurants.

The moment we arrived to Sheraton Waikiki, we knew that its going to be special. The staff were nice and we were given complimentary drinks and chocolate. We had to wait 4 hours to get our room ready but the views and outdoor seating made the time flight. The room was spacious and very clean. The ocean view was breathtaking! The toilet with its Japanese bidet was a new lovely experience. The bath tub was a good size. The bed was really comfy and clean. They have 2 type of pillows that you can request from the room service if needed. The pools were so nice and specially the infinity pool. The water temperature was warm and very close to the ocean water. The private ocean is a nice feature too. I highly recommend this hotel A

We LOVED our stay at Sheraton Waikiki! It's right on Waikiki Beach, so the location was one of the best parts. We got an ocean front room, which was so worth it. The room was very clean and just like the photos! The bathrooms could use a little bit of an upgrade especially for the price of the rooms, but I think the view, location, and our stay overall were so worth it. The staff was always so kind, professional, and courteous, and the dining options/restaurants within the hotel were incredible. We also loved having Honolulu Coffee right in the lobby! I would absolutely stay here again.

Pretty property and separate buildings for the rooms which helped reduce noise. Room was nice with a patio, kitchen, full size fridge, stove, microwave and walk in shower. The pool was really nice and big but not sure about the cleanliness since there were little kids in it and the water seemed a bit murky. The breakfast was great and totally worth $24 per person. Buffet style and a lot of options. The bar is only open til 6pm but they offer a drink cup which makes the drinks cheaper. My only couple of complaints are the live music is horrible. The bands are old, out of tune and loud which is not relaxing like other venues on the island. I did feel like there were a lot of seniors there so maybe that's the normal patrons at this resort and the type of music they played. The rooms didn't have any amenities such as shower cap, qtips, toothbrush, or toothpaste like other resorts. Also the cleaning crew would take my towels and washcloths but not replenish them so I'd have to ask for more. Parking is free and super easy to get to your room. We saw a grilling area outside too, which is great for eating there. I don't feel like there were a lot of great local restaurants around so I recommend getting food and cooking it at the resort. We did eat at Lava Lava Grill which was great but not impressed by the other surrounding restaurants. Overall, the resort was great on a budget but lacking with amenities and poolside service that you expect from a Hawaiian resort.

We had a wonderful stay! The one-bedroom suite was very spacious and comfortable, giving us plenty of room to relax. The pool area was absolutely beautiful, perfect for lounging and enjoying the sun. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and amazing stay! Great location too!

We were given a suite on the 2nd floor of building 22 which was so newly renovated the TVs weren't finished being set up... yet somehow the shower door hinge was already rusty and stuck. There was a number on the TV to text for assistance, but it was evidently for a different hotel called Kohala who didn't bother to pass on our request. The suites are generously sized, big balcony, kitchen, living, dining, laundry, bed & washroom. Had to cross the street in bathing suits to get to the pool though. Open until 10pm but the towel station closes earlier so go get your towels during daylight hours. Musical performances for a couple hours in the afternoon, too loud, did not need amplification, had to leave the area. I didn't see anyone having the buffet breakfast for $25USD. No one was eating or drinking in the pool area, they have no servers. Everyone clears out of the pool by 4pm, then the whole place is dead. Can't even get a drink or a snack in the evening. No Uber eats either. Plan ahead to buy drinks and food at a grocery store. The shuttle costs $5USD per person each way. It was a very beautiful, boring, and quiet property, except for the many young children stomping and shrieking every morning at dawn (along with the wild goats). We enjoyed the free entry to sister resort Hilton Waikaloa Village.

Newly remodeled suite was spacious and well-appointed (except the coffee maker was iffy). In a very quiet area of Waikoloa, nothing in walking distance from the resort. Would love to see early morning coffee service there since the in-room coffee options were not great. Check-in and check-out were fast and easy and the free parking was fabulous as so many hotels are charging a lot for parking and you can't really get around without a car.

This property is definitely worth checking out. Room was nice, clean and bed was comfortable. Front desk was friendly but not accommodating to any request we made. Many other properties give a little wiggle room for late check out, room changes, etc. There should be free coffee in the lobby at breakfast time and/or a punch in the lobby at check in.
