We had a wonderful time staying here. The room could use a little updating but the bed was very comfortable and the jacuzzi was great. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We booked a king room with a jacuzzi, and it was exactly what we expected! It was very clean and very large. The bed was great and we fell asleep no problem (accidentally dozed off watching TV). There were no weird smells and the sheets felt clean.

Bed was very comfortable. Jacuzzi in room was nice. Decor was different, a bit upscale retro but nice. Staff was fantastic. Breakfast was good.

Room was cozy and warm jacuzzi was great 😃

The room was clean, quiet, furniture was new, the view was also nice to the water. The common patio was very welcoming and comfortable, lots of flowers. The grounds are well maintained, parking was good. Breakfast was nice. We didn’t try the swimming pool or jacuzzi.

It was clean and quiet and affordable. The jacuzzi suite is exceptional, with an oversized jetted tub and spacious accommodations. The view is very nice. Staff were polite and very kind. 10/10.

Good hotel and a warm comfortable room for a ski vacation. They had a pool and hot tub. At the time of stay the hot tub was super hot and I informed the front desk clerk. The Breakfast was good and semi prefab, But there was eggs and fruit and coffee. Coffee ran out once. But that can happen in any hotel in the morning breakfast rush and the the breakfast staff remedied it. The eating area is relatively small but everyone works around each other. Staff were friendly and helpful

Hotel was easy to find. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was quite spacious and clean (except for the carpet, which was stained and required steaming). The bed was comfortable and the included breakfast was very good. Places close by for dinner. Would happily stay again.

We liked the comfy beds with the option of soft or frim pillows, the breakfast was great. Everything was cooked perfect and always hot and fresh. The hot tub and pool were great, it was perfect for our family and was pet friendly for our pups. All the staff were happy, kind and ready to help with anything the could. Thanks for the stay, will stay again!

The staff that checked us in were absolutely amazing. As soon as we started the jacuzzi tub a bunch of hair and other things came out of the jets… other than that it has been a lovely experience.

This is our new go to when traveling to Vancouver Island. It's lacking some of the other amenities of more expensive hotels but the price is right and the rooms are always super clean pillows are soft and beds are nice. Quiet is essential to us and we've always had a pleasant experience. There is a Chinese restaurant on site or close to other ones. Gas station is right across the street as well as a Tim Hortons. Only complaint we have is they don't offer a complimentary breakfast like other hotels personally I don't think they would need to raise rates to offer something simple they do offer coffee however. Our biggest thing about staying at hotels is quiet , cleanliness and soft bed and large fluffy pillows, this place never disappoints. Many other places we've stayed at in Kamloops that were quite acceptable have now jacked their rates so high we do not feel they are worth it as long as this place stays reasonable they will continue to get our business

The staff were nice when interacting and throughout our stay. We used the pool in sister hotel which included a waterslide my kids enjoyed. We also dined at the Chinese restaurant Moon Wok which was connected with the hotel location and it met our expectation- the restaurant was packed with locals. The room was clean. Breakfast was decent- we got our hot coffee and about bagel. The hotel was located in a convenient location if you have a car and off the highway.

It was convenient just off the highway. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was a surprise with lots of options. Eggs, cereals,toast, bagels yogurt coffee and tea. The kids got to use the pool at their other facility across the parking lot. Really comfortable beds

Despite being a half block off the highway and bordered by a drive through restaurant the stay and area was quiet. Room was comfortable and spacious. Friendly and helpful clerk when we checked in. We were only there as an overnight so didn't avail ourselves of the pool or breakfast but I feel we would have enjoyed them as well...

Quiet, comfortable. Pool and hot tub were fine. Roof top patio was a bonus. Weather was spectacular so spent a lot of time up there. BBQ area great. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Room had microwave and fridge and coffee!! AC blew cold! Slept well. Good wifi and cable. Laundry a perk for sports uniforms. Lots of cold ice! Good location. Close to restaurants and hwy access. No issues with parking. Would stay again.

Our arrival time was late evenin yet they stayed up until we got there & gave us a nice, big, clean, comfortable, quiet room... the bed was so comfortable you could feel yourself melt into & become one w/the mattress... the jacuzzi suite was fabulous... the jets all worked... there was ample hot water... the staff is friendly...

This hotel is exactly what we wanted a place to lay our head, soft and hard pillows, a nice bed, a bonus kitchenette, an air conditioner, a view of our car, all the things you need TV, tub, shower etc., nice staff and owners. We were within a 15-minute drive to anywhere and walking distance to food of your choice. There were no street people on our walks. Quiet area.

Staff were very helpful and the room was well equipped and nicely furnished. Bathrooms are huge! Third floor balcony provided fantastic views to the river and city. On site laundromat was a nice feature.

The staff were amazing. Very friendly and accommodating with our requests for help with the television (turning it on, switching to cable from streaming). The beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet.

A Solid Stay at the Fairfield Inn Kamloops We recently spent a 2 nights at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Kamloops, and it was a reliable and comfortable experience. The check-in was smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities you'd expect. The bed was comfortable, and I got a good night's sleep. The complimentary breakfast was decent, with a variety of options to choose from. The hotel is conveniently located, with easy access to the highway and nearby restaurants. It's a good choice for a no-fuss, comfortable stay in Kamloops.

Rooms and bathrooms, neat and clean (new). Overall, definitely must visit place ( all the places to visit were very close to this hotel).

The hotel was top notch, very clean, stylish and in a quiet area. Its located on a street full of hotels up on the hill and nowhere near downtown. Downtown is louder and has the train passing by. I felt safe with the use of the key cards for everything. The staff were great and friendly. The buffet breakfast every morning was delicious! My kids loved using the waffle maker, and the juice machine. The options were great. It’s a bit busy for breakfast, depending the time you go for it. The pool is small that’s the only negative I have but it’s still enjoyable. I would stay again.

The Desk staff was courteous, efficient, & professional. We’ve stayed at the Kamloops Wingate Hotels before, and its clear that these people know what they’re doing in operating a hotel, and they do it very well. Clean efficient, well decorated and with a decent bed to sleep in. Room; The room was spacious, clean and the furniture well positioned. The bathroom was clean and large enough for a couple to prepare in the morning to start their day. Coffee maker and small fridge are always appreciated when travelling, and this room had each. The bed was large and comfortable, and an assortment of pillows allowed a guest to choose firm or soft depending on your preferences. The room faced the back lot and was quiet in the night. …… did a good job here with running a Hotel. Well done.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The pool and hot tub were awesome — clean, relaxing, and perfect after a busy day. The beds were super comfortable, and I loved that the TV let you connect your phone so you could watch your own shows easily. Everything was clean and well-kept, especially the bathroom, which was spotless and had everything I needed. The breakfast was tasty and had a nice variety, too. Also, the Tesla charger in the parking lot was an asset for us.

The hotel was well located close to the highway and easy to access with restaurants and services close by. The hotel was modern and the rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a nice variety which included protein which was nice with good coffee. Staff were helpful and pleasant.

This is a great little motel and I will be back forsure! I recently stayed for 4 nights. Unfortunately due to the wildfire smoke, I did not use the pool, but it looked inviting. That was a big part of why I wanted to stay there to relax and sit by the pool, so I was bummed about that. Mgt upgraded me to a kitchen suite on the first floor upon arrival, which was appreciated. The only downfall of that was that a couple of nights there were very loud guests above me which kept me up (walking heavy back and forth, not partying). The staff are lovely, it is family owned and operated. They have a little area with a bar b q and picknick tables, you are also allowed to smoke there. Lovely little sitting area. Pot has to be smoked off property. The room was very clean and spacious. Note: there is a 4 cup coffee maker in the room, but no coffee is supplied if you are staying longer then one night. I bring my own coffee when I travel, so it did not effect me. There are fast food places close by if needed for your morning coffee. I found my stay to be 5/5 star. The only thing I would like to mention, which I forgot to mention to the staff is not to spray the room with a strong chemical after cleaning it. It was quite strong and I could not sleep my first night due to it :( but besides that top notch. Thank you for a great stay! Highly recommend this gem of a motel.

Absolutely amazing. It’s affordable, clean, comfortable and secure. The staff is SO friendly and accommodating. We decided to stay an extra night and were able to keep the room another day. They’re so good with our German shepherd and supplied us with some doggie bags as we forgot them back in PG. we will absolutely without a doubt continue to stay here when we come to Kamloops. Highly recommend. Very quiet and just all around lovely, welcoming, safe, and comfortable.

We slept in many hotels and motels and I can't believe there was a day where I am able to give a 10/10 for a motel. We are not looking for luxury this is why a motel is sufficient on our many trips. We were really pleasantly surprised by this motel quality. Affordable, away from the highway, very simple, yet comfortable, very quiet, very clean (it seems the rooms were freshened up with nice blue paint paint and new fixtures). A real plus for us: they provide real coffee mugs (not the paper ones you find in most hotels). Huge windows, modern and darkening blinds to pull down. A microwave. I am a very light sleeper and fridges bother me at night. Not this one. It was the quietest fridge I have seen in many years. (Microwave and fridge also seem new). They have two BBQ's outside and picknick tables that you can use for your dinner.

This location was excellent for the price. Room was updated, clean and quiet. Reception was courteous and professional. Room was heated and cooled with a very quiet and efficient heat pump. Provided appliances were in good and safe operational condition (small coffee maker, small bar fridge, microwave, tv, tv cable converter box). There were available electrical wall outlets for electronics such as laptops, cellphone chargers. I will most certainly stay here again.

Rooms were clean and updated. Bed was comfortable. Floors were clean. All appliances were safe and operational. Bathroom was updated and very clean. Room was very clean and quiet. Would most definitely stay here again and recommend to others. The price was very reasonable for what you received.

Pool was great and refreshing with just enough towels but scarce towards end of day. The view is sooooo good and although the balcony is small it was so nice to have the large patio screen door to open at night and get a breeze even during a heat wave while we were there. We found Kamloops during the day an inferno it was so hot. we tried the restaruant on site which again had a fabulous view and the food was so good. We used our 10 percent room key discount. The only slight issue we had was a bunch of pigions live under the soffetting in the roof and they congregate above our room 324 and you can hear them pecking and making noise. the staff are aware and working to fix it. We would definitely stay here again next time! its close to downtown and the mall close by is where the Ebus pick up is. Car rental at enterprise close too. Superstore close for a few things for the fridge

Great beds, wonderful duvet, lots of pillows. The room was totally refurbished, very roomy and even had a mini balcony looking out over the city. There was a Nespresso machine in our room (thank goodness NOT Starbucks coffee) and a larger bar fridge. Unfortunately there is a VERY rundown property next door/behind the Vista Inn that should be torn down - try to look past it to the beautiful city and river view. The staff are wonderful and friendly and will take time to chat if that's what you like. Cleaning staff did a spotless job with spic n span bathroom - kudos to them - please remember to tip accordingly! The restaurant onsite was closed (Mon) but we went next door to the Kohinoor Indian restaurant as they were open for supper and we've eaten there before. We had enough left over for lunch next day (put away in the room fridge.) There is a quick grab & go breakfast (granola bars, muffin, yogourt, fruit) which was sufficient for us. My husband had to be at the Kamloops hospital for surgery at 5:50 AM and the front desk was able to extend my checkout for an extra hour NC so I could get more sleep before going back to the hospital to sit in recovery with him. I really appreciated their consideration and coupled with the decent price for the room it will mean we likely will stay again next hospital visit as it is easy access from the hotel. The Hospital is just down the street on the same road.

We had such a wonderful stay at The Vista Inn! The staff were helpful & checkin & checkout went smoothly. Our King room & facilities were top rate, with even a wonderful view. Set back from the highway, it was quiet & the bed was comfortable for a good sleep. Parking was plentiful & easy. We really liked quality coffee with our own Nespresso machine & 4 pods available in our room. The ‘grab n go’ breakfast of juice, granola bar, muffin, yoghurt & apple was a welcome addition to start the day. Great position a short walk from shops & restaurants. The Vista Inn is definitely our new ‘go to’ for accommodation in Kamloops & very highly recommended.

Decided to splurge and get the honeymoon suite with jacuzzi, but even more astonishing was our private deck with seating overlooking the atrium.

My trip was a reunion with former co-workers who live outside of the Lower Mainland. The hotel was great; my room was spacious and clean and it’s obvious that renovations are nearing completion. I have two comments, not complaints, about ROMEOS bar and restaurant. Before making them, I need to highlight that the staff were fantastic. Amiable and attentive, and they definitely enhanced our dining experience. First comment: one of the members of our group treated the rest of us to a Mohito cocktail when we sat down for dinner. The cocktails were almost flavourless, lacking the zest of the Mohito’s I have sampled in the past. Having worked in the liquor business for many years, I still have a suspicion that the bartender forgot to add the alcohol. When we commented about the drinks very politely to our server, she advised she would pass along our concern. As everyone in my group was unanimous about the quality of the drinks, my experience suggests they might have been comped. Most of the group had wine with their entrees, along with dessert, so the impact on the hotel of making the drinks complimentary would have been minimal. Of interest, when we re-grouped for breakfast the following morning, the first topic of discussion was the poor quality Mohito’s, so it’s clear that we were all left with a negative impression of that part of our experience. Second: one person had a good looking steak plate. The portion sizes for the duck and the pad Thai were too small.

Outstanding Stay – Highly Recommended Our experience at this hotel was exceptional from start to finish. Upon arrival, the front desk staff were professional, efficient, and accommodating, even allowing us to check in early—something we greatly appreciated after a long day of travel. The hotel itself is spotless, beautifully maintained, and located in a convenient area with easy access to nearby amenities. Our room offered a lovely atrium view, adding a touch of charm to our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the pool and hot tub in the evening, which was the perfect way to unwind. The on-site restaurant exceeded expectations with both its food quality and service. If I had to note one minor downside, it would be that the bed was a bit firmer than I personally prefer. However, this didn’t detract from the overall experience. We had a fantastic trip and will definitely return on our next visit. Highly recommended!

Our stay was incredible showed up early. They allowed us to check in right away. Staff was incredibly friendly for the two nights we were there. Rooms are clean. Beds were comfortable AC and heat Mountain View warm swimming pool real nice Jacuzzi handicap parking and my car was safe. I highly recommend staying in this hotel if you’re in the downtown Kamloops area.

The hotel was decent for being an older hotel. The beds were comfy, but the bathrooms are very small. The train is right outside your window keep that in mind. I love the arcade downstairs and it being next to the pool room. Great spot for kids! The pool is fantastic it’s a nice size. The hotub was a bit murky and had a dead spider floating around. We didn’t find it as clean as it should be. Other than that I also loved having breakfast from the bistro cafe downstairs before we checked out. I would stay again.

I booked the hotel last minute and was hesitant after I read the reviews, but for our purposes and needs, this hotel was very good, with my managed expectations. I knew there was no lobby bar or brand new decor, but for a solo parent with a very active child, we had everything we needed for a few days here. The rooms were well equipped, the bed comfortable and the air conditioning worked well, the small convenience store thrilled my son with a lot of fun candy options, there was a small fridge and microwave and the breakfast options were very budget friendly for a quick breakfast. My son (8) loved the arcade and quickly made friends in the pool, where we spent a ton of time. There was a small outdoor area that some people used to barbeque hotdogs for their soccer team. All the staff we encountered were lovely and helpful. In my view it is perfect affordable venue for young families. We will be back! My only complaint really is the covered parking needs a good cleaning, a power wash once in a while would make a big difference! Thanks for a great stay.

Location: Easy access from main hwy coming into Kamloops and close to medical appointments and Hospital. All staff were accommodating and friendly. The continental breakfast room is large and comfortable. The food area is also spacious and food is always fresh and topped up. I was looking for location, cleanliness and breakfast included - I found great staff, specially the two people on the breakfast that was kind and super helpful, Gina and Eghosa. Breakfast has great options. Room was clean, well maintained , bed was confortable. Swimming pool was a plus, it was also clean and well maintained.

I’ve stayed here multiple times. I really like this place. I like to know what to expect. I like everything about it. The room is clean. Smells nice. Love the hot water in the shower. Love the Zero products they use in the bathroom. Staff is usually pretty good. Actually tried the slide this time! Breakfast is great. I like the variety I can make. One day it’s a breakfast bowl. Another day it’s a breakfast sandwich. Would like more fresh fruit though. I like how everything is convenient around the hotel. Tim Hortons, dollar store, liquor store, etc! Though parking is a bit tight in the covered areas. Coming back again in late summer!

A clean hotel in a quiet neighbourhood. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has a White Spot on site, which made getting meals easy Our booking included breakfast; we had a hearty breakfast at White Spot before hitting the road which was nice. The room was spacious and the bathroom had a large counter, which was great for our family of four (two adults and two children). A short walk will take you to McArthur Island Park. Northill Shopping Centre was across the road, which had a Starbucks and a grocery store. I would stay in this property again!

Early morning staff (front desk and shuttle driver) were so helpful and accommodating. Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. Bedding and mattress were amazing. All was super clean. Coffee and Earl Grey pods were a perfect touch for us! Shuttle service to the airport was quick and easy. Made our early morning departure a breeze.

This hotel was a most pleasant stay for seven days in early July, in plus 40C heat. Kamloops is a dry area, complete with mountains and other interesting hilly spots. We attended a dance competition in the city known for hosting tournaments. Our hotel is located in the north shore where there are factories and some homeless people, but our stay was the best. First and foremost, the hotel was quiet (we were on the top floor) and we were across from a condo building that also housed a library. Across the street is a grocery store and a small mall (closes at 530 pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday). The front desk staff was always helpful, informative and professional, and the White Spot restaurant was fantastic, serving upscale food along with excellent service. The pool and fitness room were undergoing renovation during our stay. The rooms were large, clean and well stocked, with comfy beds! This is the third Holiday Inn and Suites at which I have stayed and I now like this chain the most of any hotel chain. A vehicle is a necessity in Kamloops - whether it be a rental or a ride share. Residential areas tend to be mixed in with commercial and manufacturing throughout, so walking is not the easiest.

We arrived late in the night, but the guy at the reception was so nice a and helpful. Room was small but clean and cosy. There was a coffee maker in the room for preparinf coffee or tea. Bed was very comfortable with comfortable polows. T - the reception guy, is the best !

We were looking for an authentic home cooked Thanksgiving dinner and found it here! A simple restaurant, clean, tidy, with friendly staff. The dinner was delicious, perfectly portioned and included 3 courses for $25pp. Shout out to Shellie, Brodie and Jeff for making this Thanksgiving dinner location a good choice.

Welcoming staff, felt like new hotel. I stayed 3 nights here and slept well. There was no road noise and my room was not spacious but it was a great base for me as I was on the go all day. The bathroom is spacious, and I noted the quiet self closing toilet - I wonder why all hotels don't make sure they have them. The shower was clean and comfortable with the curved shower rod all hotels should have. I enjoyed the lobby for coffee in the mornings, and filled my water bottle there regularly at the front desk where there was water, tea and coffee. I had one minor request for my room and it was quickly dealt with. Room was kept immaculate and I appreciated the flowers out front as well. The restaurant beckoned with nice smelling food but I didn't try it but based on the hum of the diners it must be good food.

Convenient location for a stopover with restaurants, petrol, shops etc… very close by. Easy parking, pleasant modern hotel with spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. Not much in the way of character, but great for a night on the way to Jasper. Good place on site for a quality breakfast & helpful staff. Very comfortable bed and a kitchenette if you needed it.

Room was clean and mattress was comfortable. Also in a very central location for conferences, other restaurants, and access to the highway. Restaurant had a good breakfast menu.

The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great and enjoyable, the restraunt was amazing we had the lamb lollies, oysters, and the burger - ( best burgers we ever had, wifey has a gluten allergy and quite enjoyed her gf bun and crispy onion stack) the gin flight trays were a fun twist to the night aswell I would highly recommend them ( lemon gin liquor - sheringham distillery ), and the ( tempo strawberry - G&W ), our servers Heather and Kalina did amazing with service at the bar and I would def go again. The hotel, rooms, and common areas are kept very clean. The pool and hottub were a great experience as well, being on an outdoor deck. This hotel will be our family's new destination spot anytime we go to kamloops.

What an absolute gem and oasis on our travels. We booked the Delta in Kamloops as a convenient overnight stop on our scenic road trip from Calgary to Vancouver and found the hotel was exceptional, superbly organised and staff were all unbelievably helpful and friendly. There was secure, convenient underground hotel parking at a reasonable daily rate, with elevator access to all floors (only to the lobby if you have no electronic room key). The location is perfect for downtown Kamloops and we found multiple, nearby walkable options for dinner restaurants, but after having the most gorgeous, high quality cooked to order breakfast (included in our room rate), we wished we had also had our evening meal at the hotel as well! Our room was modern, stylish, spotlessly clean, with large comfortable beds, high quality toiletries and every amenity needed for a relaxing and quiet stay. This is easily the BEST hotel in Kamloops and we noted the Rocky Mountaineer also used this as their overnight passenger hotel stop, whilst we were there. We could not fault our visit and the courteous staff, which stood out as some of the best customer service we experienced on our entire trip. Just brilliant.

Check in was very seamless, and when we got to our room, we were very pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, smelling and nice and fresh. The bed is super comfortable and the pillows. Robin was the person that did our room up and it was perfect.

We only stayed for 1 night, arriving at 5pm, on route from Jasper to Whistler. Check in was super easy and staff very friendly and chatty! We had a problem with our brand new hire car(auto) the battery went completely flat after being in the car park for 4.5 hours!!!(that's another review needed for the car hire company) Ashish & Erralynn, did everything they could to help, unfortunately, the way we had parked and the length of jump leads they personally had available we could not start it, we had to contact the car hire company to send help. They made sure our little girl was kept entertained while we waited for the help! The most friendly and genuine staff we have had the pleasure to meet in the 2 weeks of travelling! The rooms are super clean, the beds really comfy. Love all the "puns" in the room and around the hotel. Our room had cutlery, microwave, grill, kettle, coffee machine, big fridge, very well equipped! The room was very clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. No breakfast served but hot drinks available in the lobby and the price of the room was reasonable so it was fine. Rachel checked us in when we arrived. She was very friendly and helpful so thanks to her. We were very happy with our stay.

Price was insanely good, and included a better pool than many more expensive hotels have. Location conveniently right by the highway and near many restaurants (walking distance of five or six places). Clean. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wifi was good. Air conditioning was effective and kept the room cool. Would recommend staying here.

Great value for money, just off the highway (we used it as a stopover on a long trip). Check-in was quick and easy. Room (although a little dated) was exceptionally clean, and included everything as described such as coffee maker, microwave, fridge etc. Bed comfy. Parking right outside the door. Breakfast included, basic but enough to get you going in the morning (help yourself in reception to tea, coffee, apples, muffins, yoghurts), which for the price of the room was good value. Supermarket a couple minutes drive.

Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. This is a basic motel, a little dated but always very clean. Nice, quiet area but lots of shopping close by. A real deal at the price. I have a small dog, and we stay there every time we pass through Kamloops.

Very convenient location, right off the highway, reasonably priced and very cooperating staff specially Ahmed. There is no breakfast buffet but served from the office (Muffin, Tea, Coffee, Fruits, Yogurt)

I generally find Doubletrees to be good hotels, and this one in Kamloops is no exception. Our room was a good size, quiet, and very clean. It had modern, updated decor and a mini-fridge. I found the bed (a queen) very comfortable, with a good mattress. The bathroom was all-in-one -- sink and counter inside, not outside in the room. The hotel is downtown, in a good location for walking around. It's a pretty short cab ride to the airport (under 20 minutes). Also, the front desk staff were pleasant, professional, and very helpful. We had a problem after checking out -- the cab we pre-booked to come at 4:15 a.m. to take us to the airport did not show up. The company would not send another. The overnight desk agent was right on it. He recommended and phoned another company, which came on a rush basis. He really helped us out. In short, a very nice hotel and great service. I would happily stay there again.

I found the reception staff friendly and welcoming and enjoyed the warm cookie. The bed was very comfortable, and the large TV screen the best. Thank goodness for the good decaf coffee option in both the room and the dining room. The room was very quiet and the location perfect for our purposes.

My dad are 1/4 of his rib dinner, the ribs weren’t good and the fries were disgusting. $12 for a big plate we maybe at 6. Service was great though. The lotion in the rooms is a little too fragrant and overpowering. Less scent is better.

Check-in was easy and front desk was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. We required a quiet room to stay in after surgery. Front desk ensured that we were placed in a comfortable, quiet room. The pool and hot-tub was great for my son and I to play in while mama rested. Breakfast was simple but good. Something for everyone's tastes. As someone who is over 6', I normally find showers to be too short for me. This was not the case here. I was able to shower without issue. Would stay here again without hesitation. Thank you to the staff for an enjoyable stay.

The staff were very friendly and gave us complimentary bottles of water upon arrival and also when we asked for some upon leaving. One could tell that this older building had been refurbished and looked and smelled new and pleasant. It was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was very good, including hot items like mini omelets and sausage and make-your-own pancakes, as well as cold options such as cereal, yogurt, fruit, and delicious muffins. The breakfast area was spacious with easy access to each station.

The room was nice and clean. It felt spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and it was pet friendly. For the price it was an amazing experience.

Overall my stay was fine. Room was clean but had a musty smell to it even though they have renovated it fairly recently. I went to have a bath and there was no plug. I had to go down to the front to get one. Strange. I found the bed comfortable. Pillows so so. Staff at front was friendly but very quiet and hard to understand. The breakfast was very basic. A variety of teas would be nice including herbal teas plus more choices of fruit would be nice. A welcome addition of hard boiled eggs would also be nice. My son also had a room and found a large stain on his mattress, not sure from what. It was not very pleasing to see. There was no elevator to get to second floor which could be an issue for people with large suitcases or struggle with stairs. It suited my needs for the weekend and I possibly could stay there again.

Beautiful views from the uneven numbered rooms on second and third floor. Easy breakfast with waffle maker, cereals and toast. Starbucks is less than a 5 minute walk if you want better coffee. My family was thankful for this economical clean and quiet room. We have already booked for next year.

We stayed here 5 years ago when it was called Canadas Best, and hated everything about it. We booked it this time not realizing it was the same building under a different name so we were worried we weren't going to enjoy it. It was a much better stay this time. The room was renovated and fairly clean, quiet, and easy safe parking. Breakfast is very limited though! No complaints!!!

We stayed here for one night en route to Whistler. It was very clean and we had a large bed which was very comfortable. As in most of these type of motels the a/c was noisy but did the job. Breakfast was cereal, muffins, toast etc along with tea & coffee. Plenty of parking near to our room. The member of staff on reception was friendly.

I had a wonderful stay at the Plaza Hotel! The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of fresh options every morning. The location is perfect—close to shops, restaurants, and major attractions. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job each day. Everyone at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I especially appreciated the quiet, comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers!

The location of the hotel helped us to get out of the car and explore. Everything was so close! A morning walk on the river followed by a cup of coffee at a downtown cafe. Evening appetizers and cocktails at the hotel restaurant with fun trivia night. Our second night we attended a fun comedy show just a block away! Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. This is a historic property with a funky old elevator and stairs. The hotel staff was helpful and kind.

The location is perfect - walk-able to shops, pubs and restaurants. There was an included breakfast, toast, eggs, juice, coffee. Not too bad considering it was complimentary. The room had a nice view of the hills. It has the oldest elevator in Kamloops - 1928. The restaurant/bar downstairs is very cozy with friendly service.

Breakfast a help yourself buffet was perfectly adequate and there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Parking next door reasonable cost charged to room which was very convenient Good stopover on the scenic route to Jasper.

If you're coming, bring basics for a microwave, including spoon, fork and a mug. I had plastic items in my bag (thank goodness), and the folks downstairs gave me some paper hot cups. I walked down to Value Village and bought myself a big mug for coffee and yogurt. There is a good, large clean, working refrigerator, and there is a kitchen area if you have pots and pans with you. This would be a terrific place to come in between camping stints, as you'd have all your stuff with you and you could get cleaned up, but still be able to eat cheaply. The crew in the lobby are very friendly and helpful; were willing to set me up with a food delivery app. That makes it easy to get a meal if you don't want to walk far, but it's a close-ish walk (15 minutes) to where there are lots of food options. Most important for me was coffee...at least one place opens at 6:00 am. The beds are a little hard for an aging body, but they're clean, and the temperature in the dorm seems reasonable in this May heat.

Amazing city&river view! Cozy and clean two bedroom unit.

This was my fourth stay at this property in the last 6 years, the accommodation is very nice, neat and clean and within a reasonable budget. However this time their Cafeteria was not operational and the other two places are Subway & Starbucks are open for limited time like 9 am to 3 pm. There are no other place on the campus one has to go one to two kilometres outside the campus to eat. There was no electric cattle, toaster or crockery on site which could have been of help. The staff is very helpful , cooperative and willing to help. We could borrow their own electric cattle and some glasses. The accommodation and view from our rooms were just amazing and very comfortable.

We got a room on the top floor (Floor #11) and the view towards the North Shore was AMAZING. The room itself was very clean, however we had 3 issues that made our stay not-so-great. The AC unit was NOT working over the sunny weekend with the room temperature at 28C, though the thermostat was set at a setpoint of 21C. The drain in both the sink AND the shower was clogged. We ended up getting some fans from reception to move the air throughout the night to cope but would've been much better if the AC unit was working. We would recommend others to stay here presuming the AC unit, and sink/shower drains are not clogged.

This is university accommodation, it clean and adequate but very basic. No comfortable chairs, TV did not work and was tiny. Did have a small kitchen and 2 bedrooms so for the right group this would be perfect. We were just looking for a safe clean bed for the night on a road trip. It checked all those boxes. You get what you pay for.

My daughter and myself ( & our cat ) were very happy with our 5 day stay. The staff were wonderful , the room was quiet & clean. Any requests were dealt with promptly. An extra shoutout to Travis at the front desk who went out of his way to make our stay very comfortable. The location directly across from the hospital was ideal for us and the not having to look for parking each morning was perfect ! We were welcomed by opening the door to a very large room with a Murphy bed, sofa, desk, chair, tv, dresser, closet, large king bed, but only one night stand on one side of the bed and very limited plugs which was a bit of an issue as my husband travels with a c-pap machine and I had no where to put my phone or plug it in beside the bed. If the desk was removed they could move the bed over and allow for space for a bedside table. There was a little kitchenette area with a sink, fridge and new microwave which was great to have outside the shower and toliet. The toliet was like a “kindergarten” size toliet (low to the ground). Location was great and scenery was nice to walk out of our room and see the mountains. Breakfast was an all carbs and some hard boiled eggs. Overall, bed was comfy and it suited our purpose.

We stopped here for a night when we were passing through. It was a brilliant price including breakfast and it suited us for a night stop. The room was clean and quiet which was exactly what we needed. The breakfast had toast, cereal, juice, hot drinks and yoghurts which were great and filled us up for our drive that day. The owner and her excellent staff are friendly very accommodating & professional. Every staff member greeted you with a big simile and went above and beyond in their service, made me feel like family. The rooms are very clean and recently upgraded, we had a kitchenette in our room they supplied us with pots, pans, knives & forks and we cooked all our meals and fed the whole crew everyday for 8 days. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a great night stay. I worked for Hampton Inns & Doubletree as a night auditor and know the value of great service and they provided that for 8 days. One of the reasons we chose this motel was the free breakfast. Also, the last time we used booking and stayed in a different motel in Kamloops. BUT, breakfast starts at 7 Am. WE leave by 7 Am, so TWICE we missed breakfast. We are older so having breakfast near or at the motel is important. We eat, then we settle our stomachs before we travel on. It dis not happen this time or last time. I know it is an imposition for staff to have an earlier breakfast, but we need it open at 6 AM. We saw other people leaving the motel early so we are not alone.

It was a clean comfortable motel- good value for the money we paid. It was nice and quiet at night, and one of the most comfy beds I’ve slept in during our 3 week holiday moving round BC and Alberta. Kirsten’s Hideout Cafe was an absolute gem for breakfast too- such a friendly homely vibe, warm welcome and appeared to be full of regular customers which is a great sign!!

The place was pretty decent nice clean bed some of the doors were a little dirty but not too bad. Its also a 21 dollar per pet fee that is not listed on the website. Also it had a balcony but it was inaccessible?? The restaurant there had amazing breakfast though.

Other than being a little far out from the kamloop city center this location has a great accommodations. The rooms were very clean and up to date everything that you need is provided fridge, microwave coffee and tea. There is guest laundry, which is well very affordable $2 for the washer $2 for the dryer and they can also provide you with soap and bounce at the office which is a great amenity. A very wonderful Continental breakfast is provided to the guests daily from 6:30 in the morning till 9:30 in the morning . The staff is very accommodating and understanding and I would recommend this Super 8 in Valley View going east to anyone that is traveling or needs a place to stay overnight or long-term.

Had a fridge, coffee maker, and good shower. The breakfast was average but tasty.

We stayed here for 3 nights while attending a service and visiting our adult children, then we stayed a fourth night the following week on our return from Alberta. We stayed the first 3 nights on the lower floor, and the return stay was on the main floor. Both rooms were impeccably clean, with excellent A/C, a VERY comfortable mattress with quality linens, mini fridge, work desk with high-speed wifi, in room coffee maker, hair dryer & iron, and quality shampoo, soaps, lotion and hand sanitizers. Extra towels (and face cloths) were just a simple request to the front desk. Check-in was fast/efficient and we were greeted by friendly smiles throughout our stay. The next door "Dennys" restaurant was the perfect combination to start and finish our days. We will be back ! Enjoy.

My stay at the Sandman was as good as can be expected...the room was clean and quiet , the staff was friendly and helpful and the price was right. Although the location is a little out of the way there is a 24 hour Denny's restaurant on the property that provided a good quality breakfast. Highly Recommended

Front clerk was warm and welcoming, offering a choice of rooms, and even suggestions for dinner (which we took and was excellent.) The room was clean, quiet and comfortable.

Our room at back of building was very quiet. Convenient restaurant. Desk clerk friendly and very helpful.

Bed was super comfy! Room was dates and basic but clean and quiet. Exactly as expected for the price. McDonald's next door for a convenient breakfast before an early start.

I was expecting it to be shabby and sketchy but I was pleasantly surprised. One of the most affordable rooms in town, comfy couch, comfy bed (looked like almost new mattress and sheets), A/C worked well, check-in was quick and easy. Parking lot felt safe and secure. I don't really have any complaints for the price, except that the bespread had some holes (cigarette burns?) The little pouches of shampoo were impossible to tear open, we had to use nail clippers to open them. I'd stay again for a cheap, basic and comfy stay.

My husband and I checked into the Rider Motor Inn and were very pleased to find it's a clean and pleasant place to stay. It is one of the best places we have found in the economy price range. Clean, comfortable and the staff was pleasant and cooperative despite the fact that we checked in late and then called to get the wireless internet password even later. I think we woke the person up but she was still friendly. We travel to Kamloops often and will definitely stay here again.

This is not a destination motel. It is quite old, yet clean and comfortable. I was at the Wynn in Vegas last week at $1,000 and night, and enjoyed the simplicity of this much better. Also enjoyed the coffee maker in the room. If you're passing through and just need a place to sleep and shower, this works! Ill be back again.

I recently stayed at this gem of a motel and was thoroughly impressed. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Overall, it's a fantastic place to stay, and I highly recommend it!

Very nice lady when we checked in, she was more then helpful about directions to where we were going. Room was very clean and nicely set up, had mini fridge and air conditioning which was great because it was 100degrees out, WiFi was alittle slow, until u found the right spot to sit, felt like home, lol. Good place good rates!! Within walking distance to lots of different restaurants.....We will be back, thx. Ps....fix the fan in the bathroom please,

Can not fault this place, we only stayed one night but could easily have stayed another if required. Checkin was easy and friendly. The room was clean, included a fridge and microwave and the beds were comfy. Wifi was a bit sketchy in our room - not a deal breaker for us but it may be for somebody else. Good value, would have no problem staying here or recommending to anybody.

The bed was comfortable and clean, large flat screen tv, beautiful view of the town from sliding door windows in room, good coffee maker, good fridge, access to a grassy area and picnic table from room, clean bathroom with new toilet and sink, very quiet throughout my stay, new flooring in room, thermostat doesn’t work but they provide a plug in rotating heater and it was great! (just make sure to plug it into the wall alongside the fridge and TV and try not to have too many appliances running at once or you will trip the breaker). This happened to me so I let front desk know and the worker there was very friendly and quick to resolve the issue. Good and speedy customer service. Check in and out was a breeze too! Loved how I could park my car right in front of the door to my room. This is a very nice motel and very affordable too, I will definitely be coming back!

It was a pleasure to stay at a "Mom and Pop" motel. Desk staff was helpful and friendly and gave us a generous senior discount. The room was clean, comfortable with the bare essentials, including hair dryer. Quiet with baseboard heating, and the view was outstanding. Pillows too large for our liking.

The friendly staff were very helpful. They allowed us to arrive early and use their foyer area to await our room. We were able to do our computerwork as soon as we arrived. The staff also allowed me to stay an extra night at short notice due to road closures. Bed is comfortable. Rooms are spacious, clean and price is reasonable for the quality of facilities. The cooler is a little noisy, but welcomed on a hot day. Good value for the money.

The view from the walk out back door is amazing. The beds are comfy and its quiet .

I purposely booked this hotel based on price. I’m tired of paying upwards of $250 a night for a place to sleep. Is it run down? Yes. It’s not the cleanest in some areas but the beds were comfy and the sheets were clean. We saved at least $300 by staying here. I’ve read some of the reviews and am shocked at some of them. What do you expect for $55?? You arrive then blow a spaz and leave cause it’s not perfect. If you want perfect then go elsewhere and pay top dollar. But if you want just a place to sleep that’s not going to break the bank then this is your place.

The staff was amazing and so kind, especially when we did a late check in. He was beyond helpful, made sure our room was all good to go when we got there and let us know what was open food wise in case we didn’t eat dinner yet.

For starters, the couple who currently owns it are super friendly and make you feel so welcomed. The rooms are a bit outdated, but they keep a very good job at keeping it clean and there's a working a c and other appliances. One recommendation is to bring your own pillow, if you're like me and like a thicker pillow what they will give you extra ones if needed. I also enjoyed that it's really close to all the amenities and to the thompson river university. Great location.

We were just there for a one night stay. The area is good, just outside of the downtown core. The manager (or owner not sure) was super friendly and helpful on check-in. The property is a bit run down, but the room was really clean. It's what I would expect for the star rating. I would recommend for a short term stay.

The place is slightly outdated but it’s like staying at your grandmas for the weekend. You’ll survive and not have to worry about bringing bed bugs home.

I was surprised that they had no coffee or any kind of cups in the rooms and that coffee at the front desk is really only offered in the morning. This said, staff was more than willing to make me a coffee when I buzzed them to come. The outdoor carpet on the upper walkway is disgustingly dirty (full of hair).

Second time to stay here, it is clean and the bed is so comfy.

The room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Will stay again.

Friendly helpful staff who provided additional items when requested, large lobby with free coffee machine, varied breakfasts with a large breakfast room, large room with amazing view. The hot tub in the pool was warm and clean.

The room is big and clean. Most important is the bed is comfortable. The staff are very friendly and always similes. The staff who prepares the breakfast are very helpful. I had a wonderful vacation here. There are many big super-stores around the hotel. I took Ebus from here to Kelowna. Ebus station is near the Sahali Mall. Just a few minutes walk. Very convenient.

The staff were friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. It was clean and the fridge was cold. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety and was delicious.

Was a wonderful stay even though it was only one night. Very clean and the room smelled refreshed. Breakfast options were very satisfying. Only down fall was too many kids running up and down hallway all hours of the night and was not impressed when someone brought there dog into the breakfast area while I was eating. Otherwise staff was friendly and helpful, also enjoyed the lobby decorated for Halloween a nice touch!

Easy access to rooms using safe door code so we could come and go as needed. The bedding was soft, clean and comfortable. Plenty of soap and lotions available. Had yummy dinner at local recommended resturant. Parking was directly next to house in carport making it quick to unload luggage into home. Flowers around grounds were very pretty and yard beautifully maintained.

We had an excellent stay, the beds were really comfortable, powerful shower with great quality towels, a bonus lovely out door sitting area to chill. We were left a delicious pasta supper and salad, fresh fruit and a large breakfast selection including muffins! Really super hosts who went out of their way to make our stay so relaxing.

Lovely, cosy, and homely, comfy beds, spotlessly clean and the host Virginia left us bread, blueberries, butter, milk and lettuce from the garden, so generous. The area was just out of town (but a very quick drive back in if needed) it was perfect for our stay. Virginia was attentive and super helpful, a great host.
