Lovely 3 night stay at Moness. Accommodation was spacious and cozy. Loved the spa, and went swimming every day and both the pool and jacuzzi were a lovely temperature.

Fabulous big family room. Excellent swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. Very good food in the restaurant.

As my friend and I were walking The Rob Roy Way, it was very convenient. We were so tired when we arrived and were very grateful for the swimming pool and jacuzzi.

Lovely accommodation, well-equipped kitchen. The grounds were lovely and lots of long walks in the surrounding area (including to the nearby Birks). The spa was unfortunately closed as was the sauna, but the steamroom, jacuzzi, and pool were delightful.

Perfect accommodation in a large apartment on 2 floors with large bedrooms downstairs and a huge living area upstairs. Ample parking. Great swimming pool and saunas and jacuzzi. Good bars with free pool table and restaurant with good food and breakfast and service. The reception ladies were very nice and welcoming.

A lovely, comfortable b&b in a perfect location by the Birks o'Aberfeldy and its beautiful waterfalls. The town centre is 5 minutes away on foot where there are shops and a number of good restaurants. Our bedroom was comfortable with a good sized en-suite shower room and, much to the delight of my wife, a spacious wardrobe with plenty of hangers. The very comfortable guest lounge has a view over the garden and is a perfect place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and read a book. Our host Mark was welcoming, accommodating and produced an excellent Scottish breakfast. We would certainly return here if visiting the area again.

We had a delightful stay at Balnearn House. The property is beautiful and very conveniently located right next to the Birks of Aberfeldy path— you can even hear the sound of the water running in the river as you approach the house! It is also within easy walking distance of the lovely town, which had plenty of cafe and restaurant options for lunch and dinner. Our room was comfortable and clean and there is also a lounge upstairs for guests to use, which was great for relaxing in the evening. The delicious breakfast was made fresh by Mark each morning and there were plenty of vegetarian options available. We travelled without a car and had no issues making our way around on foot, by bus, or by taxi. Can’t recommend it enough!

This property is as close to idyllic as you can get. In every sense you can imagine it is perfect. From the drive in, the secluded grounds, the views from your room, breakfast. Large room, spacious modern bathroom, spotlessly clean. Fresh cooked to order breakfast was especially nice. Have to add to stay here is inexpensive. I travel extensively for work and can honestly say this venue is the best value you will find anywhere in the UK and Ireland. A real pleasure to experience with a very short drive to Kenmore beach and the Falls of Dochart (pictured) a must

The room was clean and cozy. The owners, Mark and Claire, we’re very helpful. Breakfast was tasty fresh and mark accommodated specific requirements. I stayed in the B&B for the Aberfeldy triathlon and was given breakfast very early in the morning plus there was safe space to leave bikes, and the owners were kind to lend the garden hose to clean the bike afterwards.

The property itself was absolutely beautiful. It was warm, clean, spacious & had (most importantly) a modern, clean bathroom with absolutely no damp! The breakfast options were really great, & delicious, in a sizeable front room with a lovely view. I have, in the past paid more for a room far less comfortable with no breakfast option.

Beautiful location on the north side of the loch. Good spa facilities: good length pool and good steam room and sauna - no jacuzzi, though! Lovely old fashioned feel to the hotel. Good breakfast. Bar food was just ok, but dinner in the restaurant was excellent but quite expensive.

We loved the beautiful location and the hotel is very relaxing with amazing views. We stayed in a loch view room which was spacious, comfortable, relaxing, peaceful and with incredible views. The beds are super comfortable and we all enjoyed a wonderful sleep. The pool is fantastic and all the staff are great. Pre-book a table for dining as the restaurants are in high demand because the food is delicious. We also enjoyed the breakfast which was all very high-quality ingredients, well cooked, excellent presentation, the coffee was great, and everything was fresh and delicious. The hotel was very busy but it never felt crowded, was very peaceful and we were always able to find a quiet spot to sit and relax. Thank you for the wonderful stay and we will be back again.

We had a very comfortable stay. I took my wife for an overnight stay for her 50th birthday. She loved it. The staff were very helpful. The room was clean with exceptional views. The swimming pool was refreshing. The inclusive breakfast was buffet style hot and cold available. The option was available to pay for a made to order breakfast. The meal in the bar was good. Thank you for the most enjoyable stay.

Room was very spacious with a separate seating area. Staff was lovely throughout our stay. Very enthusiastic reception staff on arrival and checkout, lady cleaning the room was absolutely lovely every time we met on the corridor and our room was spotless, staff in the bar and at breakfast were attentive, special shout out to a young blond lady in the bar at dinner times (no name tags so don't know her name). Breakfast was basic (with added options which had to be paid for) but perfectly fine for us. The sauna, steam room and pool are very nice and the gym is perfectly adequate in the context of a hotel facility with lovely views over the Loch.

A proper treat. Big spacious rooms, cracking bar, estate as a whole is stunning, views outside are perfect to sit with a drink and watch the sun set over Loch Rannoch. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Buffet breakfast provided was great, lots all on offer. Sauna / Steam Room were very clean and great quality facilities.

There have been some negative reviews due to changeover period from old ownership, that went into administration and new owners. What we found was a welcoming staff, great food at breakfast and dinner and a very comfortable stay.

Everything was perfect! The location was beautiful but also had good access to lots of historical places further afield. Food was good and had other options nearby, we visited the Loch Rannoch hotel and The Cornerstone and we were lucky to get in so do book in advance. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely like to go back sometime.

Value for money Location Amenities Amazing location and view from the room, even came with a Jacuzzi. The drive in is a little long on a narrowish road which means youre relatively secluded among other similar lodges and villas

The view from the studio apartment along Loch Tummel and across to Schiehallion was great. Having an enclosed balcony with large sliding doors meant that we could enjoy the views whatever the weather. The apartment was well stocked and, had we been staying longer and cooking more, there was enough equipment in the kitchen to support this. You are just a short (roughly 10 minute) walk into Kinloch Rannoch and this is off road on a largely well lit path. There is a short section though (about 150m) between the edge of the estate and start of the village without lights but nothing the torch on your phone can't handle. You also have a designated parking spot so you don't need to carry your bags too far. There is also the hotel with its bar, restaurant and spa and a marina on site but we didn't use these so cannot comment further. We needed a couple of days away to relax and that's exactly what we got - somewhere comfortable with lovely views where we could read our books, plenty of walks on offer when we wanted to stretch our legs and a small, stone, beach nearby to sit and admire the view. We also took advantage of the 10% discount at the Monadh restaurant that came with the room which we would thoroughly recommend.

Immaculate, spacious bright airy apartment with absolutely everything you could need. Comfortable beds, clean showers and bathrooms. Didn’t have time to try the sauna in the apartment. Excellent polite helpful staff in the office. Amazing views across the loch. Very very peaceful and quiet. Great to stay to cycle to the Rannoch train station and back. If you don’t want to cook for yourself the restaurant in minutes walk away. Lots of water sports and electric bikes to hire.

We stayed at the apartments, it was clean and it had nice a balcony view of the loch, kitchen had all necessary utensils,cutlery,fridge freezer, Nespresso coffee machine. Rooms were clean and comfortable. It had additional bed in the living room which was great to just lie down and enjoy the view outside.

Amazing setting, right on the river Tay. Even saw the whitewater rafting go past. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was perfect with all the facilities you need. Restaurant food was amazing, probably some of the best food I’ve eaten anywhere. Breakfast was perfect. Was perfect for our dog and staff very attentive with her. Definitely recommend this accommodation 😀👍

Our room was large, clean and very comfortable with a fantastic view overlooking the river Tay. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We enjoyed a very pleasant couple of pre dinner drinks in the welcoming bar before sitting down for a lovely dinner. Would have no hesitation staying at The Inn on the Tay again and the hotel is highly recommended.

I loved the Inn on the Tay from the minute I walked in the door! Lovely reception, ever so friendly and welcoming, which was a real tonic given that I hadn't been very well prior to the trip. I wanted a peaceful, quiet - but enjoyable time, and that's what I got. My room was stunning - I really didn't want to leave. My son & daughter-in-law joined me in the evening for a beautiful meal in the restaurant and we were served by the most lovely young waitress - portions were huge and beautifully presented! My breakfast in the morning was tasty and served up by another nice lady. I look forward to a return trip when I feel 100% and can stay for longer. I'd recommend anyone wanting to stay in a beautiful, scenic spot to head to The Inn on the Tay....and enjoy an appetizing meal in their beautiful establishment!

We absolutely loved the Inn on the Tay, the location next to the river Tay is amazing, the room (we had a family room number 5) was very cosy and super clean and nicely decorated, which made us feel like home immediately. The beds were super for chilling and the bar and restaurant were charming and very 'gezellig '. We liked to take a drink and played some games with the family. The owners and personnel were all very sweet, relaxt and helpful. The walk along their river with the dogs was nice and challenging for the dogs by jumping over the rocks.

Very clean, modern, comfortable & spacious. Location and stunning river view was fabulous. Extremely dog friendly, staff were fantastic and part of the fun!

Lovely comfortable, cosy home. The beds where comfortable, everything was clean. The facilities In the room where spot on, tea and coffee supplied. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked through the door. The owners are so friendly and kind, gave us some good recommendations of where to go with the kids. And breakfast was delicious. Couldn’t rate this high enough and don’t have a bad work to say about it.

Tina our host was delightful. She also teaches yoga and my daughter (who was staying in a cottage nearby) and I had a yoga class which we enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were delicious. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable and we had a beautiful view of the hills. The surrounding area, which we know well, has so much to offer in the way of walking, wildlife, watersports on Loch Tay, good coffee shops and restaurants and plenty of activities for children of all ages. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The Moness room was spacious and lovely, as was the ensuite, with unlimited piping hot water. We had a lovely big bay window and lots of complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits. The bed was extremely comfortable and you could enjoy just spending time in the room in the evenings.The breakfast was great and we also had a nice Hogmanay dinner cooked by our hosts. Tina is a yoga teacher and we had a wonderful morning class in a specially designated room which was a very relaxing space. We also enjoyed the small garden sauna which is great after a long walk. Would recommend.

The place is amazing, both Jason and Tina are fantastic hosts, everything was perfect , breakfast was delicious , the place speaks volumes. So many choices for outdoor activity ideal for a family adventure or just a peaceful and relaxing stay. I would strongly recommend it . Staff where lovely, cottage was nice and cozy and had the most comfy bed. Everything you could need was there great location people who lived in the area where so kind and welcoming. We also went to the waterfront restaurant for dinner which was delightful. We tried the three lemons in aberfeldy for food also and ferryman’s inn food everywhere was delicious and the staff and ambiance of these places where phenomenal. We are going to be back in summer and make it a yearly visit every xmas as it really was a beautiful place.

We had a very relaxing few days here. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the check in process was completed quickly. We stayed in a two bedroom cottage, the accommodation was very spacious but still had a nice cozy feel to it. The on site restaurant served excellent food with a lovely atmosphere, just remember to book early as it was fully booked each night we were there. We will definitely be back.

Kenmore apartments are in a lovely setting and the grounds are well kept. The staff were very pleasant, helpful and welcoming. The property itself however could do with a bit of updating. One of the shower heads was broken, there was mold on the windows, the freezer appeared to have collapsed at the back so was unusable and there was a general feeling that the place could have been overall cleaner/fresher. For our two night stay however we really enjoyed ourselves, the beds were comfy and the setting was peaceful. And the size of the accommodation was impressive.

We’ve just got back from our 1 week visit to Kenmore and had the best time. The area is absolutely beautiful, we enjoyed many days on Loch Tay and the surrounding areas with our three kids. The accommodation was perfect for what we needed — our two-storey cottage had breathtaking views over the loch and mountains beyond. We made the most of swimming, tennis, golf and table tennis, all baked into the price of our stay. We can’t wait to return next summer and will probably stay even longer! Thanks so much to Jean and the rest of the team for welcoming us and making this such a memorable holiday.

As soom as we got into our cottage we knew we wanted to stay longer. It's a lovely cottage with a spacious seating area, a balcony w 2 chairs out on the deck overlooking the lich, well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. The pool and sauna were amazing after a days hiking, and the stagg were the absolute best and worked some magic so we could stay 3 more nights over the 1 we booked. Highly recommend staying here and would come back in a heartbeat.

Wood burner was ablaze on arrival, plenty of logs to spend an evening enjoying this lovely well loved abode. Cozy blankets, provided by Sarah, to keep wrapped up on a clear winter evening sitting outside enjoying the clear sky. Breakfast was plentiful, as fresh and tasty as can be and beautifully presented. Stunning property with everything you could need for a tranquil break. Modern, clean and luxurious! We were so impressed with all the small touches, the breakfast supplies, the whisky and the lovely toiletries. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

This an elegant countryside lodging overlooking the Tay valley. Continental breakfast had great coffee and pastries, granola, kieffer and bread. Dinner can be found in Aberfeldy about 5 minutes away by car. Listening to birds and walking was most restful.

We do I start when arriving to this hotel the scenery and views are simply breath taking. Easy check in and our room wow spacious spotless and again a view to die for beautiful furnishings with a Scottish feel . Bed was so comfortable. We had 3 great night sleeps . Bathroom was spotless with Scottish maded toiletries , and a great tea and coffee station with a coffee machine and delicious shortbread . We had dinner in both of the restaurants the food was delicious. Plentiful and reasonably priced. Breakfast was also excellent with a great choice to satisfy all tastes . The pool n spa was lovely clean and relaxing . Every member of staff were frendily approachable and professional and all wanted to help with places to visit etc . A real credit to the management. We can't praise this hotel enough such a pefect stay highly recommend and already planning our next trip to Scotland especially this hotel . We stayed here for our anniversary and had a wonderful experience. From check-in to checkout, the staff were warm, professional, and helpful. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with beautiful views of the loch just across from the hotel. The spa facilities were a real highlight—immaculate, relaxing, and run by friendly staff. Dinner in the bar restaurant was a little disappointing, but breakfast the next morning (a full Scottish) was excellent and more than made up for it. Overall, this hotel is outstanding for its location, cleanliness, and fantastic staff. We would happily return and highly recommend it.

Having decided to attend the Blair Castle Horse Trials a bit later than we planned, Loch Rannoch was one of the few places available to accommodate our group. How lucky for us! Having gone the indirect route, we were met with a friendly and accommodating receptionist (I wish I'd gotten her name) and were able to check into our rooms early. While the entrance and lobby areas exuded old Scottish charm, our rooms were updated, clean and had all the amenities. My room had a spectacular view of the Loch!. Bed was super comfy, bathroom/Shower were clean and loved the warm towels, and appreciated having USB ports located throughout the room. Though it was August, temps were in the 50's low 60's and enjoyed the evening fires in the lounge bar area which featured comfortable seating and a variety of board games for guests to enjoy. Food in all dining areas was delicious. Travel companion selected fish and chips - best she's ever had. The reception staff were all friendly and eager to advise guests on activities and places of interest, which made our staff even better. We took their advice and spent a wet afternoon at House of Bruar and then enjoyed treatments at the spa. Overall a wonderful, charming stay with absolutely stunning views.

My husband and I spent 2 nights here with our dog and had an excellent experience. Our room was very spacious, clean and beautifully decorated and had a wee package for our dog which was a nice touch. We had 2 lovely meals in the Wild Brownie Bar and enjoyed drinks in the Whisky Bar (special mention to Telmo for the excellent espresso martinis!). The terrace at the front was a brilliant place to relax in the sun. We used the leisure facilities on one day and these were lovely, one of the best saunas we have used. The wait and bar staff at the hotel were outstanding, so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning!

An absolutely beautiful and quiet location. Ample free parking. Booked a forest view room with my best friend and the room was spacious, comfortable and has everything you need. Staff couldnt be more helpful, happy and chatty, from the reception desk to the restaurant staff. The spa pool, whilst small is warm and luxurious with the added addition of steam and sauna rooms. Booked in for a facial - amazing!! Also booked a manicure - suffered a small medical emergency where another member of staff was called in and a first aider. Taken to a cooler room and recovered quickly with their support. Could not fault the attention from staff! Thankyou for an amazing 3 days, we will return!!
